I frequently visit this place for a regular mainte...

I frequently visit this place for a regular maintenance for my Honda car such as oil change, tire rotation, 4 wheel alignment etc. I did not know before but later got the information that that do state inspection and send the inspection report to dmv electronically. Almost all the times I waited there while vehicles are being worked upon. They have a lot of good place to seat and relax , or use you laptop or phone or even take complementary cafe/tea/chocolate drinks together with popcorn. My over all experience is good and I would recommend without any hesitation. For last 1-2 month renovation is going on for the servicing area to increase concurrent servicing capacity. Based on the speed to work it looks it should be over by another month (Apr-2020).

Poor service, bad communication , i have called several time in 2 hours to check on the status of my car which i took it there for Air bag recall. Tech Chris k "wasn't available " the whole time, i drove to the location and found him, he said sorry i got off 30 minutes ago, go and see cashier, anyway. I picked up my car and day after Chris LVM saying: i have been told u called in and u were very upset, I wanna tell u THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IM LVM, u car is ready to be picked up. I think this funny when u get a first VL from a pro Dealership when u already picked up ur car.

Went into buy a car here and give them business since they do a good job servicing my Honda but Rahim Gilani, sales manager was rude and Really disrespectful. Was ready to close but he couldn t match the price tags that were on the car. Price was no where near what I was expecting. They wouldn t honor the discount they emailed claiming oh it s different for the trim you are getting. Avoid this location to buy a car or find a different sales manager to work with. They literally lost a 37k sale because his ego and attitude got in the way. I guess business must be great if they can afford to lose customers. Also waived us goodbye in mockery as he thought we weren t looking but caught him as we walked out. Really unprofessional behavior. Bad for Honda to be represented like that.

Really impressed with the free Lyft shuttle. I was told the wait is really long the day of my service and they dropped me off home and then picked me back up when the car was ready. To get picked back up, you just enter any address you wanna be picked up at. It s a great idea.

Bought a new Honda Civic Sport from this place recently and highly recommend them. I had gone through 8 other dealerships that day looking for what I wanted and they were horrible experiences, all tried to sell me something I wasn t interested in or tried to pressure me into the sell. Some even got condescending when I was hesitant.
Ashley was great at listening to what I wanted and helped me find it. The whole management staff also kicked butt , stayed late to help me get in my new car that day. Again, will recomend them to my family and friends.

I had a terrible experience buying a new car. I went in with a Honda Pilot to trade in and was told by a Sales Rep that I could get up to 25K as trade in. They asked me to come the next day as they were short staffed. The next day had an appointment but still made me wait for 2 hours and at the end they came up with a trade in value of 18500 (adding a 1K bonus) and I had no idea why it would go down so much and they won't budge on the price which included all the unnecessary add ons and wanted me to pay sticker price.
I tried calling and emailing their Sales Manager Adam Rutledge, but apparently he won't return calls or emails.
I ended going to Honda Cars of Denton for my purchase. I wasted a lot of time here and the Sales Experience was absolutely undesirable and unacceptable.

When a friend of mine spoke highly about this Service Shop at David McDavid Honda in Frisco, TX, I just needed to give it a try. Further when she told me how great Matt Kail customer service was, I had no doubt in taking my car for servicing. Matt Kail has been servicing my car since the year 2013 and has saved me lots of money along with the quality service each and every time he has professionally given me. He is so honest that when I want to add something that I want to do with my car, he takes the time to explain to me why I do not need it and when I will need it in the near future. Overall, the customer service at the Service Shop at David McDavid Honda of Frisco is all about high quality, caring and saving.

I've been here for four hours and counting, just to get a 40000 mile multipoint tune up done. They need a snack bar or restaurant. I guess my real complaint is they did a poor job of managing expectations. If they had warned me that the job would take the entire morning to complete I would have looked into options like a loaner car or the shuttle service that they provided. They took it for granted that I should have known that it would take 4 1/2 hours to get fluids topped off and brakes replaced.

We are a family of four and own four honda accords (2001, two 2012 and 2013). I have purchased last three honda accords from McDavid Honda of Frisco. Every time my salesperson has been David Alldredge. Before I purchased the first accord (Dec. 2011) from David Mcdavid I have shopped around several dealers in the dfw area, but ended up purchasing from David Alldredge as he was following up with me on daily basis in a friendly way. For the next two purchases (July 2012, June 2013) it was very easy for me as I just contated David Alldrege and was offered a fair price. He was extremely fair and upfront about the price of the car and the options that are already on the car. Since my first purchase I have recommended Alldredge and the McDavid honda of Frisco to my friends and family.

James Brown is a fantastic salesman! He doesn't push...instead the Sales, Finance, and Managers work together to work out the best deal possible! The process is simple and they always have a fantastic inventory...lots of color choices! The car was clean for test drive, and then detailed for take home the SAME DAY. There is absolutely no reason to go anywhere else for your Honda! Check out the 2018 Accords...it's a whole new car!

I had complications with my trade in and the manager, Shaq, really worked with me and made my experience 100x better with them. they put themselves on the line for me and showed me compassion in a really tough time for me. Update after 2 months: *Worst* service department I have ever seen. First time interacting with the service department, I use their "Online appointment booking system" (ooo this is cool!) I have the option of dropping vehicle off or they pick up (even COOLER!).

I schedule a 0730 pickup via the app to have three recall items taken care of. The day comes, 0730 comes and goes, so I call the dealer. Service department lady says "Oh, you are scheduled for a pickup but we don't start picking up till 08:00. Ok, so why does the app let me choose 0730? Never mind, I will wait.

Driver shows up with a brand new Odyssey like mine, I say "Let me pull mine out of the stall at my garage and I will put the loaner there.". Oh its not really a loaner he says, I have to take the keys with me. WHAT??? And what do I do with an 11 month old at home if something bad happens and I have no vehicle to drive? "Yea well we just leave this here so I have something to drive back when I bring you yours back."

Yea no, you'll be leaving me the keys son....

I call back to Service, "Oh. (first words out of the lady's mouth every time), we don't offer a loaner for same day services." Ummm, ok why does the app ask the very first question "would you be needing a loaner"?? So anyway, I get the vehicle back and the service report is on the seat. Kids drop it off and run out of the place like they are on fire.

2 weeks later the same rear deck camera recall shows up in my Honday app so I go back to the car and get the service report. Item 1 and 2 are noted as to what was done, Item 3 the camera repair says "Not part available"... Um ok I guess that means it wasn't done?

I go back to the app on August 18, schedule a pickup, this time for 10:00 because I know they don't start till 08:00. 10:00 comes, no driver. I call in, explain what I needed and the lady says (you guessed it) Ohhhhhh. Well didn't an advisor tell you that the part wasn't ready last time? Gee no they didn't, I didn't hear a word from anyone. I got a text asking how it went but that was within the hour of the vehicle being dropped off and I didn't know that "not part available" status. Also the service department was happy to explain tome

So anyway, where is the driver? Oh, (again), he will be there sometime between 08:00 and 13:00." WHAT? (don't even bother saying then why does the app have me pick a time??) Then I asked if the part was available since they took in the intake request. "I will have to check"

5 minutes on hold and she comes back on and says "We will notify you when the part gets here". Ok, thanks for that. In the mean time I will take my new van to AutoNation Honda of Lewisville and see if I can get a dedicated service advisor to talk to me and explain. Buying a brand new vehicle and not having a loaner of same quality when I drop my vehicle off for service makes me wonder why I traded in my Ram 1500, I was spoiled by their service levels!

Long long story made short, classic case of technology not being supported by the service line, poor if any communication (oh, yea its not on the app or the webpage, you just have to learn this through osmosis), and in adequate followup. I get it, they sell a lot of cars, and they are busy, but they aren't the only pony in the ring.

Just purchased a 2018 CRV - it was the best car buying experience we've had. Went through USAA car buying service and James Jackson, the fleet manager, handled the transaction from start to finish. It is a smooth process and at no time did we feel pressured or "worked." James presented a fair price offer for new vehicle and trade in. We negotiated some and arrived at a mutually agreeable deal. All the people we dealt with were polite and treated us as intelligent adults, not as prey for making their next sales quota. Will definitely do business with these people in the future.

However now a couple weeks after my purchase I m finding that they ran MULTIPLE hard inquiries after being SPECIFICALLY told not! I initially wasn t going to finance through the dealer I was already approved with my own bank. But the finance manager convinced me to allow them to run my credit ONCE!!! Which I eventually agreed to and they said I was approved with a good rate. I thought all was well. Until I checked my credit score today and found that it s already dropped 15 points and will likely drop even more. Regretting using this dealer

The worst experience ever... The people working in the service they could not speak English at all. Why would you hire someone that doesn t speak English and put them in a position where they have to interface with your customers? I had to track someone down that could speak English and direct me to a service advisor. I waited in line to see the service advisor and he had no idea why I was there... He promised me that he would take care of things and get my car serviced. I asked him to look at his computer and make sure that I was not going to slip through the cracks. What he looked in his computer my service ticket was not on his list.. While waiting I overheard other customers with similar stories. I also overheard people shopping for new cars complaining about the links of time it took to see a new car. Something about the way vehicles were parked by color was making it very difficult for sales man to find a vehicle that met their needs... Understand this experience had nothing to do with the construction underway. When I bought my car there was a woman GM. She was awesome... she was on the sales floor meeting and greeting new customers... meeting and greeting customers that were having their vehicle serviced.. Things have really gone down hill with the new general manager. If you really care about your customer why do you hire people that can t speak English?

I have always been satisfied with the Service Department at McDavid when I bring my Hondas in for service. Mike Myers is the Service Advisor I request when I make my appointments. He explains recommendations and requirements, after the multi-point inspections, so you can make the choice needed to keep your vehicle running smooth. Mike answers any questions you may have without hesitation. If you need service on your Honda, and do not have a regular service advisor, I HIGHLY recommend Mike Myers.

Received an email at the start of the weekend to schedule a service appointment on Labor Day and receive 20% off! I immediately went online and was impressed by the availability of appointments and quickly scheduled a 9am to have some regular maintenance and state inspection. Jason was up front and immediately pointed out that my tires likely wouldn't pass and suggested tires and looking at the brakes, because my wheel shook when I brake. They were so nice, provided me with a loaner car for the day, and when I came back my car drove like new! Not to mention Jason took 20% off my entire bill, tires and all!
