Not worth the money or the time. This hotel was extremely outdated dirty the staff was slow and unknowledgeable of the area or surrounding activities . Will never stay at Paradise stream again

I d give it a 0 if I could! The concept of this place is great and is a romantic idea. Our experience was horrible! Bugs, both alive and dead, covered our room, the in room pool was filthy and drawings were on the walls in the dirt inside the pool from other guests, stripped live wires were on the dresser, hotel room phone didn t work, bed was dirty, The steam room door didn t close so it wouldn t heat up, ceiling was leaking onto the dresser, carpet looked like it hadn t been vacuumed in ages. Went to front desk to complain and 2 couples came in after us because this hotel gave room keys to a room that was already occupied. Which resulted in one couple walking in on the other couple naked!! This was their free stay since they had a bad experience there prior too! We got out of there as fast as we could after they finally agreed to give us a full refund! Worst hotel experience and dirtiest room EVER and at a $500 a night price tag to boot! Hotel needs to own that they need to spend money to fix everything that is broken and to clean it up!

Staff was awesome, food was great. I would recommend this place for abyone trying to have some 1 on 1 abd just forget the world exist.. Must try the Champagne tower suite, you will never want to leave the room. Best experience we have ever had by far.. thank you

Hello after carefully considering lots of our options of a romantic getaway me and my wife of 21 years finally had the opportunity to reserve a room at your resort Paradise stream .We choose the Diana's oasis room. First of all room wasn't ready at 3:30 check in time..we were told it was still being cleaned and wasn't ready until almost an hour later. Now onto the dinner, I had ordered the shrimp and crab pasta which had 3 pieces of shrimp with barely any crab meat in it and not much taste...but I ate it regardless. Our waitress was explaining different options for the menu to the table behind us which was never mentioned to my wife and I. When we got back to our room I tripped going into room due to no lighting outside our building... I called front desk 2 times to make them aware of the problem,which was not fixed and it was dark all night. I paid just about $500 on this romantic getaway for my wife and could not even get a bottle of water all the machines were empty and at this price there should at least be a couple bottles of water in the refrigerator. Problem #4. Our TV in room froze up which I had to call front desk AGAIN and was told the maintenance man would go to tunnel to fix problem....he ended up knocking at our door interrupting our evening. Due to late room being ready and early check out time we were unable to enjoy all amenities included in the price. With having 4 children at home and FINALLY having an opportunity to get away for a night we basically paid for a room that had no drinks...a TV that needed to be reset..no outdoor lighting and a dinner that was included in a $500 a night resort to be something to brag about and not complain about! Hopefully if we ever get the opportunity to do this again and IF we decide to choose your resort our next visit would be a more pleasurable experience!

Great place to stay with the room was updated like the person said I booked with. Just a nice get away. Diane's service inside the bar was great! Cant wait to go back with a group of couples

Room was clean and spacious. Somewhat outdated but still enjoyable. The room had a small pool, hot tub and sauna which did not heat up properly. Nice time playing archery and enjoying the grounds even in the snow. There was a game room and indoor pool and a gift shop.

With the newly issued Covid restrictions of not permitting entertainment indoors the resort tried to accommodate it's guest with the removal of resort fees, meals being brought to the room and a free movie rental. The room was clean and had no indication of bed bugs. (I check every location I intend to stay.) The kitchen was accommodating to a gluten allergy and personal preferences.
The room is in need of updating. The sauna has old equipment that malfunctioned. The bathroom had leaking faucets. The faucet on the champagne glass hot tub did not extend into the tub far enough. When filling the tub it caused water to spill onto the tile surrounding the tub. One the first night of our stay is way relatively windy causing a down draft in our fire place. When we lit our fire log smoke was pouring into our room. I am surprised that the smoke alarm did not go off.
I did not like that necessities (eg. paper products, coffee, soaps) needed to be requested with the front desk. If supplies can not be stored in the room then such items should come daily with out needing to ask for them. Depending on when you call (while meals are being delivered) it took time to get what you need. On one occasion I went to the desk in the morning and had to call twice to get what I needed. I was then told that the items were placed in an inconspicuous location 2 hours prior. When I did get my items they had not been sitting outside for 2 hours. If you failed to perform your task take ownership of it. Don't make your guest feel like they failed in searching for them.
In summary this location fills the need but did not meet my expectation. Your travel dollars could be spent in other locations that go above and beyond.

If you enjoyed the 90ties then this is the place for you. Probably the last time it was updated, Clinton held office. The suite my wife and I stayed in was called, Garden of Eden.
The toilet was unbolted to the floor and shimed up with a tile in the back to keep it from leaning forward when you sit. (Very upscale for the price of the room)
The heartshaped, hot tub has the same appeal as a used condom on a hot city sidewalk (bring a bottle of bleach)
The pool was missing mortar and proper waterproofing coating and had the same appeal as the hot tub.
The staff was friendly and professional.

The room I had which was Garden of Eden Apple was better than what I imagined! Had some wear and tear, but all in all a very nice room. Staff was very professional and informative. Food was really good. Shows were outstanding. By far one of the best trips I have taken. I highly recommend visiting Paradise Stream. I will be visiting many more times in the future.

Felt like a complete getaway, loved our room, the staff, the food was delicious. Does need updating but nonetheless it still has its charm.

First ,grounds were ammaculate ,lots of things to do ,at the resort, good restaurants in town,and our room was so clean,shower was great,hot tub worked great,we had a small warm pool in room also,but my favorite rooms were the ones that face a small lake w ducks,so beautiful w fall leaves...really nice place,and entertainment at night..staff ,everyone we encountered had a great attitude...

My husband and I have been coming to the resorts for 12 years, we never had issues until now. When we checked in everything was fine, we booked the Champagne towers we got to our room we used the pool, when we opened the door it felt like the sauna was left on it was very hot in the pool room. That wasn't really a problem how ever when i went to use the shower it only had extreme hot water, or ice cold nothing in between. I could not get a comfortable temperature of the water. Maintenance came and said that it would take a while to fix, so we got moved to another room. When I got to that room the same thing was happening with the shower in that room as well. We ended up calling the manager he wasn't available, someone else came she was very nice she told us we wouldn't be charged for Friday night since the our day was ruined, we had to downgrade to garden of Eden room. We were disappointed that we couldn't stay in the Champagne towers because of the issues with the showers. The garden of Eden room was nice its just not the room we wanted. Other than that our stay was very good.

Me and my significant other had a great time. The food was excellent and the service was great. The activities kept us busy while the hotel gave us ample time to rest and relax. We both agreed that we had a great time and will be coming back.

This place was a bit dated, but full of great activities- archery, bocce, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, shuffle board, hiking trails, bikes, fishing night life. Very enjoyable stay. Excellent breakfast buffet. Near antique shops.

Awesome couples resort. I had the champagne suite and it had an en suite pool along with the champagne cup. The room was huge. The service was all around good. The waiters and waitresses were a little slow. The rooms also could have been updated. They are a little outdated and the mattress sucked. The mattress was as hard as a rock. All together it was a great experience.

This was a very beautiful resort. A bit tacky but cute. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The Jacuzzi is a must. Their outside activities are okay, they could have better equipment. A lot of nats tho, so be prepared to be smacked in the face with their tiny bodies every now and then. Also there are chipmunks everywhere. :3 We got a lakeside villa which is absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water which makes everything super romantic. Overall it was a great stay~

steph and i came up to celebrate our 13th anniversary. we arrived late at
the hotel and missed our dinner but were given vouchers to have something
to eat at the nightclub. the food was good but the service was very slow.
it seemed like an eternity until we got our food and the waitress was also
slow with bringing our drinks. the meals in the dining room were terrific and
so was the service, top notch! entertainment was very good(we knew the
comedian, he emcees at dangerfields in nyc) for the most part great time!

Food and Staff very good. Cleanliness of rm was good , rms could use some updating. Grounds could be kepted better. Overall it we enjoyed our stay

Played 20 hands of Black Jack and lost every single one. Disturbing place to be. Come here to lose all your money.

My boyfriend took me to Cove Haven (their other resort) for my birthday and on the day we were suppose to go home our car broke down. In addition, there was a snow storm and it was a Sunday. We then called the front desk and explained our situation. The woman who I spoke to arranged for us to stay another night in the same room for a lesser price. We were so excited to spend another there that our car problems didn't really bother us. The next morning we made a few phone calls and had our car picked up in a flat bed truck. On our way to the auto mechanic shop the manager of the resort seen the truck with our car on it. Btw it was officially my birthday on this day.. the manager asked if we were going to be ok and seemed very concerned about our situation. He told us that if we needed to stay another night we should contact him and he would help us, he even offered to have the shuttle van pick us up from anywhere. It was not long before we realized it was best to stay another night in the Poconos.

So here's were it gets awesome!

My boyfriend called the manager at the Cove Haven location and he told us that we were very far from that location, however he told us about Paradise Stream. He put my boyfriend on hold, booked a room for us at Paradise Stream and then arranged for a sitter van to pick us up. When my boyfriend asked about the price he was told that it was complimentary.

I have never been so happy on my birthday. His kindness (The manager at Cove Haven) has to be the greatest gift of all. I had a wonderful experience and I wish to share this story with everybody.

This is the first time I have ever taken the time to write a review about a place I have stayed. If I can save one couple their money, then this review is worth it. The place is in complete disarray but most significantly, it appears to be dirty. Let's be honest, when you're going to stay in "The Land of Love" it needs to be clean. The furniture and carpet are ridden with nasty stains. So nasty, that my husband and I ordered extra linens to place over the furniture so we could sit on it. We stayed in the champagne tower suite so an indoor heated pool was in our room. Sounds awesome right?! Until we got in it and noticed little white pieces of something floating all around us. Wallpaper is coming off the walls, shower head was broken, sauna door was broken (which made it unusable) not to mention the graffiti in it. There is absolutely no way they should be charging almost 500 dollars a night for this! To be honest with you, even if the room was 100 dollars a night, I would still have issues with how dirty it was and would still not come back. After this review someone from the hotel may comment "I'm sorry to hear that..." and so on, but there seems to be too many reviews with the same consensus...it's a dump. Clearly nothing has changed no matter what they say. Seriously...go somewhere else. If this review saves one couple, just one, it will be worth it.

The only reason I didn't rate it as terrible was because the staff was great and the food was good.

The Prime rib dinner was not Prime rib it was a sirloin steak.

Good food good drinks great room set up every thing u need in one place

Room was as expected, and we have stayed at these resorts in the past so we knew what to expect as far as damage and dated. We stayed in Diana Oasis and it was a nice room with pleasant colors and comfortable tub. Pool in room was a nice size and had fireplace right beside which created a great atmosphere. Flat screen tv, all tile bath, mirrors everywhere.

Resort was cozy, everything close together made walking to things easy. CXOs were very nice and would change games based on the size of the groups. Nightclub was Art Deco style and kitchy.

Game room was decent for a small resort, but the pool tables were terrible. One didn't even have all the balls. Exercise equipment appeared to be picked up at a garage sale and put in and old racquetball court. Hot tubs: one was nice other the jets didn't work. Everything here is worn HARD, but we knew this going in.

Dinner- this is a disaster. We paid extra for lobster tails at checkin, got them that evening at dinner. They were rubber, sent back and asked for our money back. Every night dinner was a disappointment, poor over cooked under seasoned food. Breakfast was very good, and the food you pay extra for in the cafe is decent. Next time I will just pay for the room and skip the meal plan.

Service- most of the time things went ok. But you feel nickel and dimed all the time. Pay for video games, pay for hot apps during happy hour that used to be free, and the alcohol costs are extreme. Especially when they use cheap booze. What's wrong with leaving the coffee machine on all day in the lobby. $4 extra to have something delivered to your room!?! And honestly some of the staff make you feel like you are hassling them.

Asked for the temp to be turned up in our pool at least twice a day and it was always cold. One day we had to ask for our room to be cleaned. This is not what I expect for the price they charge. I over look quite a bit because I know what to expect, but a clean room everyday, fresh towels, and a warm pool should be BASIC.

The Oasis room was fabulous! If you are a romantic couple you want this room.

From Carol in reservations to Stefano front desk..our weekend getaway was so nice. Even with covid going on and activities closed. We had a great time was nice and peaceful. Had a great view thanks to Stefano!! We loved our room. We met a lil friendly goose we named Wilbur hung out with us all weekend..Thank you Paradise Stream .first time and we will definitely be back!!

Very nice place. I little outdated but very nice stay. The air conditioning could use a upgrade.

We stayed 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was accommodating. The food was top quality. Everything was clean! Entertainment was fantastic too! Our private pool was nice and warm, bed was comfy. We had a great time! I had some car troubles when I was leaving and the staff helped immediately and jumped my car for me so I could get on the road. Can't wait to come back!

best weekend ever, do not wait like I did, waited 40 years to get here, and should have come sooner

I booked our stay last week to renew our 25th wedding Anniversary vows.. well that never happened was very upset how Mary handled our renewal.. she reassured me we were all set for Tues May 4th 2 pm after getting dressed and going to lobby for renewal they were a no show!!! I was so sad.. after several voicemails to Mary I got no return calls.. Paradise stream sent us strawberries and Champagne to our suite that wasn't good enough for me.. This situation put a big damper on our stay.. still almost a week later no calls from Mary regarding this situation.. Very unprofessional. This was a big deal to me.. To renew vows..

Great experiance with my wife deff going bk. Staff was great due to storm lights went out but staff made sure we had fire wood n flash lights but within an hour or so light were bk on... thank u for the amazing stay

Celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary here. Everything was wonderful. Food was fantastic, service was superb, and entertainment was excellent! Would definitely recommend to any couples we know. We plan on coming back! Only reason I did not give this place a full 5 stars was because our bathroom was quite dirty (mold in the shower, unflushed toilet, dirty shampoo/conditioner samples, torn box of tissues). Otherwise- we had a very relaxing and romantic trip. Thank you!

ALL the negative comments are from people who went there for the wrong reasons... we just got back and yes it is a little dated but it is so worth it! I promise you go have fun enjoy your mate drink dance swim and enjoy yourself it is dated it is not the newest hotel we have stayed in through out our travels however, we loved it and it is our spot we got the tower suite and enjoyed every moment AND we went horse back riding through the mountains it was amazing!!!!!! the food was good, but I am a self proclaimed chef so... my taste is different but the food was excellent and hot!!!!!

Stayed 1 night. Grounds were well kept. Lots to do. Our room smelled a bit stale, but was nice (champagne room). Pool didn't heat up at all. My 2 stars are because of the customer service... such a rude woman behind the phone talking to us as if we were children. Left so much to be desired, so much so that my wife does not want to return.

The room we were given had alot of paint on the ceiling peeling away. There was black mold in the tile grout all over the bathroom. The pool had gravel and a ball of hair at the bottom with two big rust spots. We went to complain, and they did upgrade our room, but them excusing how the place looks because its been around since the 60's is ridiculous.....they've had 60 years to update it.......the new room was really warm and there were ants in the pool area. We figured there's no point in complaining again, there is probably something wrong with every room..The staff that we encountered was friendly. It seemed like everything was closed by 7pm, except the bar, which was weird since you can't even check in until 3:30pm. The place is very run down, and I don't understand why they didn't take the time to update while things were closed. The best part was the food. It was pretty good, but not worth the almost $400 a night, price tag. Stay at a regular hotel, it will be much cleaner and cheaper.

Paradise Stream Resort was a great place to stay. My husband & I were upgraded to a beautiful suite at no extra charge...the room was really nice, it had a small indoor pool & sauna, a heart shaped bed & jacuzzi tub...we would definitely stay there again.

absolutely loved our romantic vacation here. rooms and property were dated but well maintained and clean; felt like we had stepped onto the Love Boat. In addition to the pools, hot tubs, billiards, air hockey, nature walks, we also enjoyed racquetball, laser tag, and paintball. I recommend bringing a book for the times you simply want to relax. It was a great experience invested in each other as husband & wife.

Reminded me of a 1950 style resort. Loved it and the feel and vibe of this place just make it unique. A must see! Highly recommend the champagne towers. Worth every penny. Don't recommend the inclusive with the dinner. Dinner was terrible. Salad old, not many items. Mainly seafood which spouse was allergic. We just left and ordered pizza. Other than that it was perfect

absolutely loved the retro feel and the staff are nothing but friendly and even the guests! Food was pretty decent for the free meals included with then inclusive deal. And even tho the activities seemed cheesey , even down to bingo was so much fun with a few drinks! Pools and game room was perfect and even the casino not too far from paradise stream location ! Shuttles would take you right there ! For sure booking something in July for my boyfriends birthday since we came up New Years week! And at the end of our trip my car battery died and had employees help us till there was absolutely nothing they could do more which I really appreciated!

We booked the champagne tower suite, while it was pricey it was well worth the cost. I enjoyed everything that was there to offer in the room. I understand that the pace is dated, but was kept clean and nice. My wife and I completely enjoyed this trip.

Horrible experience. Severely over priced, food sucked, activities were lame, and the place was outdated. The sister resorts are 45 mins away which was never mentioned. We left a day early because we were always uncomfortable and hungry. It was dirty and sketchy.

Where do I start? While secluded and romantic, the rooms are dated. If you're a clean freak, do yourself a favor and don't book here. Cleaning staff really needs to step up their game. Cobwebs and dust should NOT be in my $400 room, IMHO. We stayed in a Diana Suite. It's beautiful, roomy, comfortable. The pool wasn't very clean. We got in and upon closer inspection immediately got out. The fireplace is a nice touch. The hot tub was nice, but being a taller guy thankfully my lady isn't large or we both wouldn't have fit. DO NOT PUT TOO MUCH BUBBLE BATH.The jets create way more bubbles than you think. Dinner service was good, but the food not so much. Drinks and lunch are NOT included in the "All Inclusive" package. Come to think of it, their "All Inclusive" is more like "Dinner & Breakfast Included". Between massages, drinks and lunch, I spent well over $400 MORE. The website is extremely misleading. The other resorts are at least an hour away, therefore you won't be participating in any activities that are not exclusive to this one, unless you're staying a while. (Also that's another upcharge.) Join "forever lovers" club for teeny discounts BEFORE you book. Last but not least outdoor activities are pretty much late spring to early fall. Good luck trying amateur archery with no instructor in the middle of January.

All in all, I will be returning, BUT with this knowledge my stay will be much better. I hope someone can benefit from my rant! Lol Good Luck.

Severely disappointed! My husband and I got the garden of eden apple suite and it was awful from the start. As soon as we got in the room, the radio kept turning on by itself on full volume. Someone came to fix it, and within 25 minutes, it was going off again. The toilet wouldn't flush, there was mold everywhere, the fireplace wasn't cleaned out, and there were ants in the room! We went back to the front desk & let them know the problems we had with the suite. The only thing that got fixed in the end was the toilet. For a 2 night stay, we spent almost $1,200.00. For that amount of money, I expected a clean, mold free room, with everything working as it should. We were in suite 332, for anyone who is thinking about going. I have photos of the ants, mold & dirty shower, but I can't figure out how to add them to my review.

"Garden of Eden apple suite" - do not be catfished by the pictures this place puts online, see my pictures attached. The room is much different then it appears in the photos they have listed on their website. Details below...

An absolute atrocity that this place calls their establishment a "resort". This place is seedy, filthy and littered with insects. They charge a premium for you to stay but the rooms are dirty upon your arrival as if nobody bothered to check or clean them prior to you checking in. Absolutely unacceptable for the amount of money they think they can charge for their outdated rooms which are in need of serious TLC. The wifi does not work, and when you do get on (kind of) the connection is not private, I work in information technology and I chose to use my data plan instead as their network seems suspicious to me. I tried to order french fries one night while we were there, I used the archaic phone (you can see pictured alongside the DVD player from 1991) to call the "cafe". The woman at the cafe answered the phone and was rude almost immediately. For my order of french fries she told me she was extremely busy and it would take about an hour, naturally I declined.

Funny she actually made it sound like I was bothering her for asking her to do her job! Insanity, this is not a cheap place by any means and the service sucked just as much as the facilities themselves! This place needs to be investigated by the health department, with COVID-19 going on there is absolutely no excuse for this. I asked for half of my money back but in reality I wanted everything back. What an embarrassment to bring your significant other here. The bed sucked, it rolled around and the mattress needs to be replaced like 5 years ago. I did not get one decent night of sleep there, the sheets were dirty when we got there the first night. I literally have NOTHING good to say about this filthy place.

It seems to me they charge this exorbitant amount of money and see if they can get away with it. I for one am not going to be taken advantage of and hope that others read this as well so they are not tricked like I was. My girlfriend found hair in the towels when we arrived, there were literally towels in the middle of the "suite" when we walked in (pictured below). The sauna/pool room was nasty the mirrors were cracking and the edges of the mirrors were literally missing or peeled off. The room needs serious renovation, but this places business model is just seeing who they can rip off, until they meet people who actually have standards..

All in all, I am extremely disappointed and shocked that they continue to do business like this with the COVID-19 pandemic going on. Absolutely unacceptable and I am still torn that I need to pay anything at all for this room! Shame on you paradise stream motel, shame on you.

For some reason, there's wires coming out of the ground randomly, or attached to trees and spread out over the length of buildings with extension cords, so if you need to recharge a randon 12v appliance your needs are met

Indoor pool is has clean , supplied towels(because no one was ever using it) the pool itself and jacuzzi need to be cleaned

Nature hike is decent
Softball field is basically an unkempt pasture
Game room has a little outdated arcade games, requires tokens from machine, 3 billiards tables in good shape, 1 ping pong table and air hockey(requires tokens) and good sitting area
Paddleboats were in good shape and the little lake isnt algae overwhelmed though the geese may be frisky towards you
Certain lakeside villas look like hurricane damage took them out and need repair and some building need paint as do certain game areas(horseshoes and archery)

Atmosphere was great, you do at your own speed, staff is friendly and not overbearing
While there, a situation requiring police presence was handled amazingly and professionally by staff, great job

Overall i will stay again if chance arise

Garden of Eden was an excellent choice for my fiance and I. Thank you Management and Staff for a lovely weekend getaway. The food and drinks was absolutely delish.

Will not be returning. We are Forever Lovers club members and have visited the Pocono Palace and Cove Haven many times to where we are now gold status members we decided to try Paradise Stream because we had never been before but will never be returning after the experience we just had this past weekend . Out of the three resorts we have now determined that this stay at Paradise Stream was the worst of all of our stays with this company . Upon entering the room and shutting the bathroom door the wall was full of dust and dirt we tried enjoying the pool area but there was a film of scum on the wall of the pool as well as the rust on the floor all around the fireplace that for some reason was located in the pool area , we inform the staff and was told It would be looked into , it was still the same way when we return to the room after dinner so we just dealt with it and checked out the next morning as soon as we were able to after breakfast . Another inconvenience ,upon checking in was that we were given a room key of a number 308 to a Fansty Apple Suite we booked a Diana's Oaisis , when we reached the room and realized it was not our room I called the front desk from my car in the parking lot and explained that I did not feel this was the correct room I was told by a Semone ( not still clear on her pronunciation of her name ) to come back that she mistakenly gave us the wrong keys and she would immediately give us the correct ones , when we pulled up and I went in she immediately went on break and I had to again wait for the poor girl who was the only one left at the time at the front desk and who was taking care of numerous guests , to finally give me the correct keys . Of all of the resort that we stayed at Cove Haven is the best Not only because of the quality of the facility but because of the people that are there . Dennis the server is very uplifting and pleasant as well as Franny the hostess, and of course our beloved Phill, who we enjoy so much that we actually made the trip from Paradise stream upon check out to at least play bingo with him and try to salvage some of the horrible visit and experience that we had at the Paradise Stream location . I am not surprised at the defensive comment from the Management there, yes you may have many guest that are stating their stay was good, but I have seen allot as well stating exactly what I have , so this is not an isolated incident and nothing will change at your facility unless you accept these flaws and try to actually fix these issues. Again we will not be returning and hope that my call to the main line will have this facility looked into as well because this location should not be the opinion of how the Sister resorts will be judged off of . Again Pocono Palace was wonderful and Cove Haven is the best, but I would not recommend Paradise Stream to anyone wishing to have a pleasant experience as an introduction to the Pocono Resorts.

We only stayed here two nights and did not get the meal package. We used it more as a hotel room than a resort.

The room was nice, but outdated...very 1980s. When we were checking in, the front desk got a call about a clogged toilet in one of the rooms. Surprisingly, the next morning, our toilet clogged as well. It made us wonder if the pipes are old. What are the chances that we'd encounter two clogged toilets in less than 12 hours?

The room was pretty clean and had plenty of towels. Our room was large and had a couch, a couple end tables, a desk/dresser, and nightstands. The heart-shaped jacuzzi tub worked well, but the control for the jets was on the wall by the sinks, and the jets turned off after 15 minutes, so we had to get out of the jacuzzi after 15 minutes to turn them back on if we wanted. The shower was large enough for two people and had two shower heads and a bench. The water pressure was ok, but not great.

We didn't use any of the ameneties, so I can't comment on those. The grounds looked to be well maintained. There was plenty of parking.

If we had been staying for two nights during the week, the cost would have been more reasonable. Since on of our nights was a weekend, though, the price was pretty high. Like I said, though, we we're using this as more of a hotel than a resort.

Very fun time, a few things kept this from being a 5 Star review but I'd easily recommend this place for anyone looking to spoil their significant other who has the money to spend

This was our 3rd time staying at Paradise Stream and liked this one the best !! We always stay in lakeside villas, the only thing is the goose droppings is everywhere, outside of buildings should be power washed, but overall had a good time. I like how they changed dinner and breakfast to private tables now instead of community tables. ( Did miss the breakfast in bed option though as they don't offer it anymore) The food was awesome and staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything !! We also had an awesome experience at the Spa, we did the couples massage and the girls were great !!! I have recommended this place to numerous people and still will !!!!

Was not worth the price and the extra for exclusive was not worth it. The waitress sucked and the girl who was taking drink orders sucked. The only good thing was the entertainment band and comedian were good but overall the place was lousy.

I would give 5 stars if this place was renovated...but paying $400 to stay one night in an outdated, smelly, musty, stained, dilapidated theme room (while the pool and champagne tub was cool) was just too much money. I'll give the cleaning staff some props for cleanliness, but you can only polish a turd so much. The pool smelled nasty and the water was cloudy. I believe this place will closed in a few years if they don't update like every other pocono resort thats been abandoned. Bottom line, I wouldn't go back, or recommend that anyone wastes there money there.

We had a good time this past weekend at Paradise Stream! Great hospitality, wide assortment of activities and no kids on site!

Overall a wonderful experience, my husband and I enjoyed our stay.

This is a honest review. Here are all the things that got this place a single star. We checked into the champagne towers room 415. 1. Room stunk like cigarettes and mold so bad that it hurt your nose. 2. The refrigerator in the room was empty, this should be filled with drinks and snacks a money maker for the resort. 3. The water pressure was terrible. We had to turn the faucet on before dinner to fill the champagne tub, when we got back from dinner it was just half full. The champagne tub...well you're lucky if the water when full is above your belly button. 4. We checked in on a Friday night (buffet) the food was basically cafeteria food. Yuk. 5. Outside the bar there was 2 heaters both did not work the propane was empty. I checked!!. 6. The resort is completely worn out and needs massive upgrades. The lake villa's were rotted and falling apart. 7.The maintenance trucks were helping this couple in the room next to ours because they had no hot water... well guess what even their maintenance trucks was rotted to the frame and was a pile of junk with an exhaust leak. 8. The bathroom door next to the champagne tub didnt close and needed to be shimmed. 9.The bathroom ceiling tile was hanging. 10. At 10.15 am Saturday a man opened our door then said sorry and closed it. I guess he was housekeeping his van was all smashed up and he had one..yes one spray bottle in his hand. This resort has so much potential however it needs millions of dollars in upgrades. The restaurant needs a real place in there like a Gorden Ramsey or Wolfgang pucks.
This place must have been amazing in the 1980s however its 2019. Totally disappointing. We checked out at 10.45am. $632.00 I would not recommend this place to anyone until they fire the general manager and maintenance supervisor because the issue is not with housekeeping.We've stayed at Mount Airy before and you're better off there. The rooms much nicer and no smell ohhh and a lot lesser than $632.00

I booked this resort before reading the reviews, I booked it based on the pictures on the website. Now that I am reading reviews I'm having a change of heart. For a resort with such beautiful pictures on the website and the cost you'll be paying for your stay the reviews shouldn't be this horrible. I am thinking about the canceling my reservation but in case I don't my Hubby and I will be sure to leave our reviews whether good or bad. When you're spending money your need to enjoy what you are spending it for. I am honestly nervous!!

Booked a Diana's Oasis for two nights and that was just over 700.00. Sooo I'm going to knit pick.
Our room was looked pretty vlean. Showerheads could use some attention, our mattress felt/looked very old, some furnishings were damaged, pool and jacuzzi were fine. Grounds were pretty dirty from litter. Events that were planned by the resort were never on time. The meal plan is pricey and subpar. This place probably looked great 40 years ago. Now it just looks like it's falling apart. For this amount of money I want to be amazed.

We had an amazing stay at Paradise Stream! The service was great and the room was fantastic! This is going to be our new go to getaway and we will definitely be telling everyone we know to stay!

this is my 4th stay here and although I love the rooms the place needs help our 1st room the pool was maybe 70 degrees even though the sign says constant 90 degrees on the door, when we complained they said they didn't have any other rooms like ours available and wanted to down grade us, since the amenities in the room is basically what we paid for this was not a good option and decided to keep our room, about an hour after we checked in all of a sudden there was a room available, the second room was less then spotless but the pool was warm and like I said we were there for the room so it was tolerable, so fast forward to dinner we had the latest seating and dinner was included in the pricing, started with a salad that was so wilted i didn't even attempt to eat it when the server came i expressed my concern she took it away did not offer to replace it, my dinner was some sort of surf and turf and i did order it medium rear but the steak was basically raw i mean beat red told the girl about that if they could just basically put it back on the girl for a few more minutes and she told me the cook already left so i said well now what she took it and came back with a new steak that was cooked correctly but it was cold my partner ordered stuffed chicken but only ate the vegetables we asked for a take out box and the girl said i need to ask permission. after another 20 minuets of her cleaning a buffet table that best i could tell had not even been used that day she took her plate and boxed it and left at the front desk so God only knows why they cant let people take out the food they pay for but whatever its a shame this place has the potential to be a very nice location with amazing rooms and it seems like its run down. in short the service was less than optimal, the cleanliness left something to be desired and the food was not up to standards like i said this is my 4 time staying here because we love the rooms but its time to do some up keep all in all i was disappointed with my resent stay and i hope improvements are in the works

Great experience it was a perfect weekend getaway after an engagement.

Several lights in the pool and room don't work, including the heat lamp over the massage table which was pretty disappointing. the room (420) was kinda run down. for the cost of the stay I would have expected it to not be so worn / dated. also housekeeping didn't re-supply our coffee service after we used it one time.

Fabulous time -- attitude, food, entertainment, rooms were great!
Came back feeling well-rested and relaxed; can't wait to go back!
