The whole concept of these rooms are great. I really love the privacy and even having a sauna, tanning bed, and pool in your own room!!! But it wasn't the cleanest. The room itself needs a make over. All the wall paper was falling down and was so out dated. Also the room serivice is now where to be found. I called several times for service but it never happened, no one answered then when they did they put me on hold and never came back.

Very disappointing! It was Hubby s Birthday and we were so excited but the unclean mess was disgusting. My husband posted pics but they took the review down. As I read other reviews I agree avoid this place! We left early after seeing these outdated rooms. Take our advice go to mount Airy! I see a lot of bad reviews on cleanliness and their responses are all the same. Maybe they need new management! No doubt this review will be gone too!
There was no hot water in our room; we were told change the room. In the second room light were very dim. When we told about it, we were told to check out of the second room, bring our luggage to the front desk, then they would think to give us better room. Waste of money. Spoiled my anicersary
We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary at Paradise Stream. It was the best week. We had such a great time. Food was great, service was great and we loved all the activities and entertainment all week.

We were warned about coming here prior to booking our trip, but decided to give it a shot as it looked to be a relaxing resort enviroment that offered almost all of the amenities we were hoping for at a single location. The complete misrepresentation of this facility is astounding. The pictures on the websites must be from when the facility was built, as nothing here is remotely close to what is displayed online. The clever placement of mirrors in the room give the illusion of a large living space, however the lack of head room in the tiny loft says otherwise.
From the moment we pulled up and saw the run down signs, buildings, and grounds, we knew we were in for a problem, despite having spent well over a thousand dollars to stay here for our 4 night mini vacation, which will now not happen, so thank you very much for that. Check-in was simple and pleasant, probably the highlight of the entire experience, and we were sent to go find our room.
Advertised as a 4 story "suite" we were extremely upset to pull up, see the building from the outside, and realize that we had already been duped. It's clever marketing, a small landing upon entering the room, 3 steps up to the pool, a few steps down in the pool room to a (maybe) 6' high area for what I'm guessing is changing, and a couple steps up to the only true other floor, where the abysmal amenities of bedroom and bathroom can be found. Opening the door immediately produced an incredible odor which was likely the mold and mildew that we found throughout the room. The couch was torn in many places and smelled. Carpets were stained and frayed. Wallpapers dated and peeling. Tiles broken throughout tiled areas with jagged edges. Lights not working in the 2.5'x4' toilet room. Shower was stained with what appeared to be a scrubbed off black mold or mildew. The glass on the vanity of the bathroom was cracked and broken. The bed still had impressions of what I assume were the last people who stayed there. The champagne tower, the supposed thrill of this ridiculously expensive room, was discolored and chipped.
So, we left the room, figured maybe it was just the room and the activities would be worth changing rooms and trying again, but we couldn't have been more wrong. There wasn't a single thing going on, the highlight of the evening's schedule was looking for a frog that was hidden on site. Wow, what a fun event! A few people could be seen walking around with drinks in hand complaining about missing their horse and carriage ride. Speaking of horse and carriage, is there anyone who regulates the care and condition of these animals? The poor emaciated horse could barely walk, yet he was still being pushed to pull the cart in the heat, struggling to walk through what was clearly a rear right leg injury, and I'm far from a vet or someone with horse experience.
The manager on duty understood our concerns and without even so much as offering another room, coordinated and issued us a refund. Our concerns seem to have been somewhat commonplace, judging by the immediate and unquestioned response. Again, her professionalism and demeanor was the highlight of this entire debacle.
This facility needs an absolutely massive renovation or a complete teardown. Allowing it to continue the way it is is not only irresponsible, but it is unethical. Your misrepresentation of an experience provided is simply unbelievable.
I absolutely love all the resorts from Cove Haven. You get breakfast, dinner, activities, and entertainment for just a little more than what a typical room costs.

While the rooms still have wonderful amenities, the property is looking dated, the TV's don't work properly, AC didn't cool the room and housekeeping doesn't knock before coming into your room.
I have stayed at all the cove haven properties and this was my least favorite. Room was not that clean. Breakfast was ok but dinner the first night was awful so we didn't eat dinner there again. Night staff was sleeping in his chair when we decided we had enough and checked out at 3am. I would not go back.
It s pricey for the type of service that they provide and now with the current pandemic it s pretty much empty

It is a cute place where you can have some private time with your special s someone. However the service there was unacceptable. We were pleasantly surprised at or room. It was a little out dated and it did need some minor facelift but from what we saw asst the door it was cute a and cozy. After we walked in we began to notice a few things. The floor inside the pool area seemed to have some kind of gritty substance all over, there was red wax on the other side of the pool. We called to the front desk 3 t times to come clean up the mess but no one ever came to fix the problem. They did send security to check it out but nothing was done until the next morning. When we requested extra towels we had to wait over hours. Never have I felt so ignored. I would never go back there again.
My love and I spent 4 fun filled days at Paradise Stream. The atmosphere was geared towards lovin', life and relaxation! We played and reconnected. Time with only each other. Little to no cell service made our getaway complete. The individual buildings where we had our room were in need of outside repair but inside was beautiful. Many activities filled our day! Loved every minute!
We had the most memorable time at Paradise Stream! Already booked for our anniversary in March for our 22 years of marriage. Also having friends join us who were recently married. Definitely a 5 Star resort

I can tell from the photos online that this place was immaculate in times past. However, my wife and I stayed at the champagne tower suite. I absolutely love the idea and the room setup. Despite the dirty pillow cases, bed sheet, dusty room, mold, cobweb, the ceiling fan spinning out of control (loose) and smoke scented place, we made the best of the night since we already paid for it. I think for the condition of the room it was overpriced.
I STRONGLY BELIEVE this place would do great if they did a major overhaul of renovating their rooms and ensure they kept clean.
The salmon I had for dinner was pretty decent, but the white rice was too mushy almost as oatmeal. I don't think the dinner was worth it, but we honestly did enjoyed the cheesecake for dessert.
It was our first time there and I don't think I would stay again unless they did a complete renovation of the suites, and ensured they are consistently cleaning especially since we are in Covid times.
My husband and I have been going here for years. We do enjoy the quietness and the area but the rooms definitely need to be upgraded. If they redo and update the rooms bring back the breakfast in bed Tuesday s, update the game room area, maybe put a bar in the game room area, and update the outdoor activities the hotel would be so much better.
So we are gold members - we've been there a LOT. The last time we were there was over a year ago and we had major issues with the service. So much so that they told us they would put a note in our file for a 25% discount if we came back. This turned out to be a fiasco because the note just said, "Customer had an issue with" and the rest was not there. I had to fight for the discount which I finally got.
We had the opportunity to come back for one night this week and were especially looking forward to the inroom pool since my boyfriend had been having trouble with his legs. When I removed the pool cover, the bottom of the pool was covered with dirt. At first I thought it was just worn away paint so I got in and pushed it with my foot. It disintegrated into the water - it was dirt. YUCK. I had the manager come look at it and the maintenance staff was gone for the day (at 4 PM) and it couldn't be cleaned so we couldn't use it. For us, this was a wasted weekend and our schedules don't allow for us to come up often. We were really looking forward to a relaxing day/night. I think it's time to try a different resort.
The room was very musty and mildew smelling. I called the front desk immediately to see if we could switch it. I was even willing to DOWNGRADE! We were told they were sold out but we could move the following day in which we did and we ended up downgrading to a room with no pool which was better aside from the mildew around the jacuzzi.
The place is nice but more so for active couples. Tennis basketball, archery, paddleboats, mini golf. The rooms are amazing, the drinks are limited at the bar. I am sure there are better places for the price i paid.
Went here for our honeymoon 30 years ago. Returned for our anniversary. It was as lovely and wonderful as I remembered. Staff is extremely pleasant. Food was delicious. Entertainment was very enjoyable. Room was magnificent.

To whom it may concern, My wife and I just got married on August 26, 2016 and spent a honeymoon at Paradise Stream Resort. Everything was nice and our villa was nice on the lake but I was very upset because we are repeat guests at Cove Haven Resort and this was our first time at Paradise Stream and where we live in NY it is always very noisy and we cannot get away from noise no matter where we go it seems to follow us. While we stayed at Paradise Stream a bridge was under construction right outside the hotel and the noise from the beams being pounded into the ground was terrible. I woke with a serious headache at 9am on a Sunday and felt very ill. I think I should have been told before hand about this construction so that we could have stayed at the other location until the construction was complete. I paid quite a bit of $ to give me new wife a nice vacation and comfortable room but the level of noise was unbelieveable for 8 hours per day. I had to deal with the same exact thing when a train was being built near my house a few years ago. I contacted the front desk and they refused to help comfort us. I think that we deserve some compensation for this. Howver the room was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable and I liked the mirrors on the ceiling. Thank you.

The resort has everything you need from entertainment, food, gifts, etc. Staff was friendly, overall the resort was clean, beautiful walking trails etc. The best part was the the champagne tower room with the heart shaped pool in the suite. Wish I found this resort sooner!

My husband and I stayed here for our 15th anniversary. The staff was courteous and professional, and it was refreshing to be surrounded by so many people who were in love! The atmosphere here was exactly what we were looking for. The resort is a little dated, but very clean. One thing to note, we booked a lakeside villa expecting to be on a lake. It's more like a small pond than a lake, and if you are expecting to participate in any of the water sports, you have to drive to the other property which takes about 30 minutes. But Camelback is on the way so you can stop about half way and go ziplining! Also, the lakeside villas are stand-alone units, so very private and quiet.
No shag carpet in this room. Love the in room pool and hot tub.
While staying , the whole resort is out dated and needs some TLC . Our toilet in our room was broke , half the lights didn't work , our bed was the hardest need I have ever been on . The couch was covered in white stains (ewwwww) . I'm pretty sure our room wasn't cleaned before we got there because there was dust everywhere . I hurried to Walmart and bought disinfect spray ! This place is gross . I would never go back !
Place was as expected. Stood in the garden of eden suite. There was an old lime sitting in the pool upon arrival. Got woken up by a couple of ants taking a bite of me. The service in the dining room however was great.
This was my second stay at PS. The first was for my honeymoon and this was for my first year anniversary. I like PS because of the romantic and unique ambiance. During my first stay, I would have given a higher rating because the staff was very accomodating. However upon arrival, the woman that checked us in was rude, unwelcoming, and short with us. She gave us no "welcome" or description of ammenities that I remember from the last time we checked in. It felt like I was giving ID to get into a prison instead of starting my vacation. It put me in a bad mood for the first few hours of my stay.

We returned to Paradise Stream after a previous good stay. We had a few hiccups but... It's campy, fun, and a pool in the room. Cannot emphasize the coolness of a private in-room pool.
Unfortunately our room had an ant problem. There's something disappointing about bugs in a room. Additionally, when we booked the room it was advertised as newly renovated but looked very much the same as our stay 2 years ago. Was kind of excited to see the updated room.
There was a problem with the pool filter was well. It was making a grinding noise that just didn't sound right.
The ants were the biggest issue for me and we did bring it to the management. They gladly moved us to another room... Right next store to the last one. We made sure to throw out food outside the room and still saw visitors crawling about.
Now the good. The pool in the second room was in better shape, no grinding filters and was chemically balanced. There's a pool in the room! Just for you, no sharing. That's a big reason we returned.
We skipped the all inclusive and ate out.
I feel like if just a little more updating to the rooms and exterminator services would make us regular customers.

I surprised my husband for his birthday and we loved it. We were in the champagne suite and it was beautiful. We had a relaxing weekend,There are so many activities to enjoy we had a great time and I look forward to returning, This will be me and hubby s new getaway. The staff was super friendly in fact my husband lost 50 dollars and it was returned by a staff member. I m sold I will be a customer for life.

Needless to say, Paradise exceeded our expectations in almost every way. Sauna, Jacuzzi, good food, shuttle service to and fro to the casino and on and off-site activities.
WE WILL recommend your establishment to our friends and associates!!
Over all I would give Paradise Stream a 4 star rating.
We had a wonderful time! Patrick the bartender was absolutely wonderful with us! He made us feel very comfortable and was very friendly. Our check in experience was not great, however, the check out front desk person was extremely helpful and tried to make up for the rudeness we encountered at check in!
Just was not a good experience for me. We were excited about heading here until we got to the room and it was pretty outdated, not dirty just old so it appears a little dirty. Very dusty, the first night was a bit of bummer due all of the above. The second day we started to warm up to everything and having a good time hanging out in the hot tub and then we lost hot water so that died out relatively soon and the hot water still was not working the next morning when we re leaving. I would definitely not recommend this place to any of my peers and most likely will never return even if it was for free. I don t know how I could have stayed here more then 2 nights and was relieved to be heading home the next day. If you re looking for a getaway, go somewhere else.

Place is ran down, everything is old and is in dire need of updates and there was black mold in the shower, hoping they'll give at least a partial refund after seeing that or will be calling health department for sure
Overly priced for the value. In-room Pool, Sauna, and Jacuzzi is as advertised and well maintained. Everything else in the resort is less than basic.
This was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this specific hotel at all. I have been to the Pocono Palace and they are 100000% better I would definitely go there again. The main lobby reeked of urine. The game room smelled so bad not one person was in there the entire time. We got to our room and as soon as we walked in it smelt like something burnt or burning. We settled down and waited a little thinking it was just something from the last couple that was there, nope we just wasted our time it did not go away at all. 10:30 PM we had to go back to the main lobby and get another room because the A/C broke and that was the burning smell. They gave us a new key to another room and the door is not opening. At this point we asked for a refund because we already packed the car and unpacked it is now 11:30 PM and less than 24 hours we have to pack again, absolutely absurd. Point blank I will never stay at this location ever again in my life waste of my time the same day we were already driving home. Save your money and go to another location like Pocono Palace. I will definitely be going back to that one!!
My husband and I visited back in January for our 1 yr wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time despite it being the slow season. The whole staff was extremely accommodating.
The room was great since you have your own little cabin, plus it was cozy and clean. All the strategically placed mirrors in the room and starlights above the tub were a nice, sexy touch. The fact that all the rooms have a jetted tub makes this a unique hotel experience. The food at both the restaurant and bar were very good for the price, and the bartenders we met (two different ladies on different nights) were hospitable and accommodating.
We also wanted to give a special shout out to Annie! One of the shuttle bus drivers at the resort she made it a point to tell us that she d drive us any where we wanted to go in the area, no matter how close or far from the resort. We greatly appreciated that since we don t drive.
Overall, we can t wait to return to Paradise Stream the staff, the food and the experience was one of our best so far together. We hope to return in the spring/summer!
This was our 5th visit to Paradise Stream. We love it there. It was a Forever Lover weekend, which we enjoyed. Annie did a great job. Overall a great place to stay. Also the food is much better than in the past!
First time staying here. Rooms are outdated and mold growing in shower. Pool was not cleaned in room and glass needs to be replaced. Food was horrible. Dinner and breakfast. Don t do massages because that was even worse. Learning experience that s for! Waste of hard earned money

I loved the atmosphere and the overall mission of the facility however, there were a few things that needed to have been corrected. The rooms are a little out of date and need some work. I could see where the ceiling tiles (over the bed) was coming loose some we were even able to lift and close so that there were no openings exposed (room 427) The floor of the shower was stained to where it didn't look clean so I wore my shower slippers the whole time. The pool has a lot of cracks in it (but i'm pretty sure that isn't something that can be done with a quick fix). The Game room , the games should be checked they are a little out of date, a lot of the games were not working and we lost some of our money. For example the shooting game where you can actually sit done one side worked and the other didn't. The brand new game that was recently installed was not working. The vending machines did not work as well. With all of this being said we still had a wonderful time. the courtesy of the staff the friendly environment made everything worth while. We also loved the dinning experience.
The trail took you up and down hill, through water and back. It was a nice experience.
I really loved the layout of the champagne tower. Your hotel has so much potential but because of the cleanliness it can deter people from coming back. The dust was crazy. You could see a blanket of it on all surfaces. The champagne jacuzzi spewed black tar once turned on. The pool had lots of gross residue on the interior and the filter was black. I stuck my foot in and developed hives. Needless to say, i never used the pool. For the price of the room it should be immaculate. It was a little disappointing for that reason only.

Beautiful place to relax with your spouse with great activities
We decided to stay here as a new years eve getaway. Check in was easy and fast. When we got to the room we turned on the radio to settle down. It didn't work. Maintenance man came by and had to rework some wiring for it to work. Took about 10-15 min but still a mood killer when the hot tub was going and I wasn't dressed so I had to rUn to the bathroom while he was there. The food and service at dinner was horrible. The lobster and steak were cold. The lobster tasted like cardboard..it was so hard you couldn't even cut it with a fork. Our server was MIA for like 25 min at one point delaying us going to the new years eve party. The band at the party was playing slow boring music on a night where it should be fun and upbeat. When we got back to the room, we were drunk and hot so it wasn't a big deal but we realized there was no comforter on the bed. Just sheets. Like I said we were warm from the heat so it wasn't a big deal but I would normally have expected a comforter. The lights above the bed didn't work. We played with them for 5 min trying to figure it out but in the end we just figured it didn't work. The jets in the tub were barely there. The pressure of the bubbles was minimal. Overall not the best experience and definitely not worth the almost $500 cost.

I arrived at 1am on 9/22 and when I check in the lady in the front desk told me I could do a late check out because of the hour I was arriving, to call the front desk and let them know, when I call in the morning the girl that answer told that I could not do a late check out, if when I arrive they told me that why couldn'tdo it in the morning they, the girl that told me that when I arrive should have. Know from the getgo you shouldn't have even mention it.. not a good service I thought they would accommodate the. Customer but I guess, they don't care..

We an amazing time, reconnecting and getting away for our anniversary. We also booked again for a future stay while we were there. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by 1 day and paid for 3 hours late check out. Definitely come if you want to get away and rekindle your love. Try the fire logs and chocolate covered strawberries. And remember only use 1 to 2 caps of bubble bath for the jacuzzi lol those who know knows what I'm talking about.
We actually had a good time at your resort. The food was prepared very well and the food/bar service was phenomenal! Jade is a really sweet server and Billy O, Mr.Kaboom, was quite engaging! However, we stayed in the Lake Villa suite and the carpet is really filthy. It has a strong musty smell and it was wet. We had to wear socks to walk around, which turned brown after about five minutes! Thank you for s good weekend.
