Enjoyed my stay, lost track of the time and I didn't want to leave. Took the room with our own personal pool, sauna and jacuzzi. All I can say is I'll definitely be back.

We went here for our 45 anniversary. We reserved the Adam & Eve room was great. The dinner that we payed for was the worst possible dinner. I would advise everyone not to buy your dinner ahead of time.
If I could give this place zero stars I would, extremely over priced for outdated rooms, cheap liquor and microwaved re heated food for over $150.00, but the worst part is TWO days later after check out, they have been double charging us, and taking random fees out from our debit cards, we have been on the phone with them and our banks all day, given proof with receipt after checkout and bank statements, and they are STILL trying to weasel around that we owe them DOUBLE what we spent even with PROOF!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
The room, service, and staff were excellent. The location is in the heart of Mt. Pocono with plenty of thing to do in the area.
We spent 2 nights at Paradise Stream-we have been to Cove Haven and Pocono Palace so we tried Paradise Stream with the great rates fro the black Friday sale. We booked a Garden of Eden Apple and were upgraded to Champagne Towers-I had to ask for the upgrade-Check in was easy and front desk staff very nice. We arrived at 1015am and went to breakfast where we were sent back to the front desk as you can no longer enjoy breakfast on day one for free. I was told the policy changed 12-18 but we were allowed to have breakfast free as we booked before that date-very nice staff. Breakfast was a mixture of buffet and cooked to order eggs and pancakes-food was very good and service was okay-slow but okay. Our room was not going to be ready until around 1 or 2 pm -they would call us-so we went to the indoor pool and hit the hot tubs. As we did not have cell service in the pool building at 2 pm we went back to the front desk and were given our keys to our room-they did call us, I just didn't get the call due to lack of service. Room was clean and bed supper comfy. Rug could have been vacuumed better-same as Pocono Palace and the Shower smelt like mold-other then those two issue room was fine and everything worked well. Paint in pool was chipping and wall paper was peeling in the room-excepted with the moisture from pool and hot tub. They should remove all the wall paper and just paint. Dinners were good and service was okay-servers were very friendly. We did not attend any of the daily activities as we were only there for 2 nights and wanted to enjoy our room and each other. Nightly entertainment was good-we have seen John Graham at each of the Cove Haven Resorts and he always has a great show. We did not go to the show the second night as we had to get up very early the next morning for a funeral. We had a great time at the Stream and would return. Housekeeping mad the room up when we left the sign out to do so and left extra towels for the pool area-very thankful for the extra towels.
Room was amazing!
Room was super clean and the in suite pool was amazing. Would recommend doing the activities on the resort. Some things could be updated such as the basketball nets, but it was very enjoyable
Good food and nice room good nices I would like to come back again
Loved it here went here for my anniversary I will definitely go back again
We've always imagined going to the Poconos because we've heard so many of our friends talk about it. Our experience was great and now we can share our story.
This place was absolutly amazing. We had such a great time. Service was excellent. Rooms were awesome. Our biggest concern was cleanliness and our room was very clean. Highly recommend!
As a Sliver Fovever Lover I would think I would get treated with respect but it wasn t a nice time My 1st At Paradise stream wasn t great. Made a trip for my boyfriend birthday, the experience wasn t pleasant, the front desk staff wasn t nice at all, they had a very nasty attitude and they are very rude with the guest. Even at the gift shop the workers there are also rude, they all want to speak with an attitude and sarcastic. Housekeeper be knocking your door saying check out now with it being my checkout time. The lady that drives Love machine is snappy she was like We doing you a Courtesy of driving you around so don t expect me to pick you up drop you off anytime you want, she kept Stressing that her job is as security and is not to drive anyone around. The only pleasant time I had was at breakfast and dinner time the server were very nice people Wishing they were the one at front desk. I have been to Cove Haven and to Pocono Palace and I have never been treated like my Experience at Paradise Stream. I enjoy my stay at the other two resorts I don t recommend anyone to stay Paradise Steam.
The worst by far resort I have been the all inclusive is bs all the food is nasty the rooms stink like old mold and the food service staff really need more training I only gave a Star because I cannot give it less.
We 1st got the Diana s Oasis Suite because of the pool but the room had a little bad smell to it so we switched to the Lakeview Suite with the balcony & it was perfect, beautiful room & bigger; no pool in this one but there is an outdoor pool. It s a relaxing & sexy time here. Front desk staff are awesome. Gift shop lady is very sweet. The Dj was on point. Very romantic & private scene, we stayed 2 nights 3 days. Everything was good lake was beautiful as well. It s A little expensive tho. Only complaints we have is that we called for utensils but they said they couldn t bring it unless we ordered something else from the cafe AND WIFI doesn t work at all BAD service period!. We got our own bubbles for the jacuzzi because like I said it s a little expensive here. Oh & Breakfast was really good!.
Romantic place. Going for 40 years. Prices starting to get expensive. Everything included, food, entertainment, activities, room with jacuzzi, some with pools and jacuzzi.
My girlfriend and I on a whim bought a LivingSocial deal for the Diana's Oasis for two nights. We had previously stayed at one of their sister properties Pocono Palace about a month before, we enjoyed our stay and figured lets try this one too. Upon walking into the room, we noticed a funky musk smell from the bathroom (deemed it not worthy of calling about.) The rest of the room seemed all right, minus the cigarette ashes in the pool area (asked for non-smoking.) Went about our first night having dinner in a windowless dining room, with inattentive sub-par wait staff, again its the Poconos, you don't go there for service, so still not a deal breaker for us. Hit the nightclub for a few drinks, with heavy handed bartender (would have loved them in college...) Fast forward, next day we take in what the property has to offer from a small game room to small pond to a couples message. Noticing along the way that Pocono Palace was a much nicer property from amenities to the staff. We turned in early, my girlfriend woke up about 4 am saying she had a bug bite, I said it must have been a mosquito at the pond earlier in the day, ten minutes later she jumps out of bed and says there's a bug on my pillow. I jump up turn on the lights and see this little bug running around her pillow. I got a tissue and caught it, and placed it into a water bottle. She then says she has several other bites down her arm and one on her face. I quick Google what a bed bug looks like and find out what no travel ever wants to face, Bed Bugs. We went to the check in desk and the gentleman informed us they are sold out (like we would want a new room), he promised someone would contact me and to call LivingSocial for what they can do. We walked back to our room and found another one running around my pillow that dropped to the floor. We left the property and had to find a laundromat.
It's now been a full week since we checked out at 430 am, and still no call nor refund for the taxes and gratuities they we paid on site. I even called and left a message on the manager's vmail to contact me, still nothing. My girlfriend's arm swelled up and looked like the marshmallow man's arm, thankfully the bite on her face didn't swell like that. It's still unbelievable to me that no one was bother to call, especially since I asked for a return call.
By the way, LivingSocial immediately refund us, and made follow up inquires like a good business should.
My girlfriend is now pulls the bed apart every time she gets in for fear that she brought them home!
Service was great, but facility seemed a little dated
I really enjoyed my stay but certain things here needs some TLC. For 5 stars..
Well for starters my coffee machine in the room had used coffee bags in it. Also the heated pool has alot of chipped off pieces of the wall of the pool that's not a good look. I had a smoke bin in front of my room with trash bags. And I had to get my husband to clear away all the spider webs and spider's in front of our room (which I feel like that should be part of the grounds keeping). TLC goes a long way sometimes it's the little thing's.
Nice resort, lots of activities, but rooms could use some upgrading.
The stay was amazing. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. we were there to celebrate my fiance's birthday and she loved it. We will definitely be back soon. Everyone there was friendly and the rooms are amazing.
I really enjoy myself with husband. They were a lot of activity so we mostly stay inside and went to the outlet mall which was also also enjoyed. Good time, love it!
Rooms are amazing, but the rest of the facility feels a bit outdated. It's great to have lots of onsite activities, but not even having the Wi-Fi working in 2017 is just bizarre (plus the somewhat antiquated appearance of the buildings and the occasional spider in the room).
Still, all of that feels fairly minor, when you get your own private pool, plus a champagne glass hot tub, plus a personal sauna, starlight ceiling over your bed, and more.
No windows in the room. Lack of light. Wires are hanging from the sealing.
Online pictures were better than the actual experience. Upon entering the room there was a faint odor of mildew. The jets in the hot tub in my room were filthy. Called to have housekeeping come to clean them and there was still traces of grime in the jets. My fiancee and I never got in it. It has been awhile since my fiancee and I got away so the fact that we had a change of pace/scenery for a few days was OK.
My husband and I loved the place! We stayed in the lakeside villa and the rooms were totally geared towards couples!! We loved it and would go back again for sure!!
Clean relaxing great place to go with a loved one for one on one timw
I had booked a room for an event I was attending elsewhere. After the event we went to the bar/club area for some drinks and dancing. Everything was great until the staff, especially a brunette manager/supervisor, rudely came over to tell us to be quiet. We were far from loud but even after quietening up a bit she decided the professional thing to do would be to stand with her hands on her hips glaring at us while making comments about how rude WE were. She made sure it was loud enough for us to hear as well as some other quests. I have never been treated so badly while actively patronizing an establishment. We were 70% of the bar's business and were expected to not be quiet but shut up.
Her presence remained until we decided to leave. I would have loved to have watched an owner see this happen because there was no reason for her behavior and the staff needs to be addressed.
I will never return. $300 for a room and who knows how much at the bar before the warden came by, this level of service was eye opening and disgraceful.
Also, as a guest who was dropped at the lobby while the wife was out and about, a little heads up on how far of a walk to the rooms would have been greatly appreciated. "Around the building and up" to someone carrying bags in the rain should've been relayed as such "the rooms are about 3/4 mile away, would you like me to call the shuttle?". Also, finding your room at night is a nightmare, it's a poorly lit and terribly wayposted maze.
Great food, rooms were dated. The game room was cold and sad.
Loved having a pool in our room and having dinner and breakfast included so no worries about carrying cash around...great way to spend our 20th anniversary!
TL;DR the amount we paid was not worth it. If I paid like $150/night I could have ironically loved it with all the disappointments we had without buyer s remorse, but that was not the case.
Having experience in retail, I want to start with the positives. Every staff member I encountered was positive and happy to help, so my poor rating is no reflection of the attitudes or professionalism of the employees. The other half of my party has an extreme phobia of bedbugs, so of course the second we walked into the room, we examined every square inch military-style with a fine-toothed comb. We found nothing, which was a major thumbs up and another testament to the professionalism of the cleaning staff.
Additionally, we ordered room service one night, and the food arrived promptly, and at a reasonable price (Two ciabatta bread sandwiches, one beer, one soda, $30).
Goes without the mountains are beautiful.
After the bedbug search was over, we really just basked in how superfluous our room was. It was massive, complete with a heart-shaped jacuzzi, heated pool, and practically 15 different wall mirrors that make the room look even bigger (side note, if you have any ideas of what your body looks like that are not based in reality, they will be shattered after you stay here.)
At first glance, it was truly amazing. I had never been in a room like this before. But then the details slowly revealed themselves. We didn t have the opportunity to use the heated pool the first night of our stay, so by the second afternoon, I had pulled off the translucent pool cover, brimming with excitement to slide into a heated pool after a chilly morning. What I saw shocked me. I thought I saw skid marks, or leeches, at the bottom of the pool. A closer examination revealed that it was just years of neglect at the lining of the pool making it seem like such. I tried to get in and make the best of it, but it just didn t feel right, so I got out after about 5 minutes of kidding myself.
The last straw and, arguably the most heartbreaking moment of our two-night stay, had to be the heart-shaped jacuzzi. We had a great time the first night we used this, no problems, and it was romantic. Hoping to cling onto this feature onto the second night since we enjoyed it so much. We tried to turn off the jacuzzi jets and the knob was not functioning. We unfortunately lacked the foresight to bring our toolkit on this vacation, so we called maintenance to fix it. Again, maintenance was kind and timely, which is a testament to the staff. Maintenance fixed the jacuzzi knob, and afterward, he said, Oh, the wrong kind of knob is on here, wonder why they did that and then he said, which I will always remember for the rest of my life, Just call me when you want to use the jacuzzi again! Right, nothing sexier than needing to call maintenance every time you want to go into the couple s jacuzzi!
My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort this past weekend for 3 days in the Diana Oasis Suite. The overall suite was nice (in-suite pool, seperate jacuzzi tub, large open shower) but the resort itself could use some major upgrading. The design and architecture of the rooms and buildings are a bit dated. The chairs in my suite were stained so I refrained from sitting in them. One of the hoops on the basketball court was broken so only one side could be used. The cleaning staff was pretty good and the front desk staff was always prompt and helpful. I guess I just wasn't expecting the resort to look so old. Overall I was satisfied with my stay and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi features in the room but the next time I come to the Poconos, I'll probably choose a more upgraded resort.
Paradise stream was great! My boyfriend and I took full advantage of the Jacuzzi tub in the room. There were also tons of activities at the resort! Such a nice weekend get away!
so, we would have given a better review but.. we were given keys to a room that didn't work then given given given replacements for a new room...which worked for 24 hours.... tried to get in with replaced room keys.....didn't work....was told it was our fault.....all of a sudden it was our fault.
Place is beautiful and the food is delicious specially the carrot cream soup.
We enjoyed our stay but did not enjoy the food you don't get enough of a choice plus it was just a little bit the chicken was the only thing we enjoyed the salmon was dry the bacon around the pork meat not cook thoroughly I had better food at the palace buffet style breakfast and dinner enjoyed very much a lot of variety we left and went to an outside restaurant sorry
I liked that we were not bothered, the outside was clean, was asked to leave breakfast because my husband had on a sleeveless shirt, I was expecting a 2 headed shower, one shower head on each end, and it was 2 shower heads on one end, and the construction was a nightmare at 7am
Customer service has been great. Only thing is the heated pool could be a little warmer. But overall, great stay. We'll be back definitely!
So intimate yet still club to see music, outside activities. Plan to return for longer
Very nice, corny (in a charming way) couples resort. Suites with pools are amazing and the food was great too. Had a great time spending my 10th anniversary here with my wife.
Wonderful amazing grand food and staff off the charts LOVED EVERY MIN did not want to leave will recommend to everyone I know
Me and my husband never took a honeymoon! I have always wanted to come and stay and your resort! Heard and seen so many wonderful things about it! If I could upload a picture of all the dead bugs in our room I would!!!!! First we laid on the bed and something caught my eye! First thought bed bugs... was just a dead spider on the white sheets! We than began to check out the room... there was portions of and whole dead centipedes ALL over!!!!Was disgusting! Instead of enjoying the room we were cleaning up and removing the dead bugs! Which a simple vacum cleaner should have done before we got there!!! I understand you are located in the woods! And creatures tend to find there way in! The amount we had ... Ridiculous!! We ONLY had one night to enjoy the room and I feel ripped of from that experience! So in all we had maybe 2 hours to enjoy the features our room had to offer! Server did not mention the lobster was unlimited! We had ordered something off the inclusive menu! Before we were finished eating the item! The server had asked us to pay for it so the register could be closed out! Time was 7:55! Really disappointed would have loved to enjoy the room and the first time away with my husband! However we did enjoy archery and the activities that were going on the day we left! We live paycheck to paycheck! The $ we spent was not worth our experience!!!!! Had someone did there job and cleaned the room.... would have could have been tine of our lifeS
This was suppose to be my 60th Birthday Gift from my husband!!
First Room #404 Musty and Air did not work upstairs
Second Room #414; Bathroom sink leaked into my bag!! No hot water @ 11:00pm, switched rooms
Third Room #415 nice, make all of your rooms like this
Room had mold and mildew in the pool and shower. Jacuzzi had brown goop coming from the jets. Last time for us
Rooms with no fresh air. Strong stale smell, creepy, old furniture and decor, smells. Like stepping into 1969...
We are staying a t one of the champagne rooms. Love the room amd the setup. Unfortunately due to covid wasn't alot to do like the first time we were here. The food wasn't very good but the service was excellent. We will definitely stay here a 3rd time. Hopefully it will be post covid. Definitely recommend staying here.
Nasty room Jacuzzi Dirty A can't use it many picture how was it Not clean Not even Star
Restort could really use an update. Friendly and professional staff but room poorly cleaned and dust caked up. Pool in room was nasty had things floating and trash around the side of the pool area. Would not recommend this place until it gets a update and the cleaning staff really takes pride in their job.
My wife and I have gone to Paradise Stream 3 times now. We stayed in the Lakefront Villa, Garden Of Eden and the Champagne Towers. Our stay was nice every time, the ground have lots of nice activities to offer and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. We love being 1/2 mile away from the Mount Airy Casino and not have to stay in their tiny over priced rooms. The only complaint we would have is the rooms need to be updated, which we know after being there only a couple weeks ago they are in the process of doing now. We highly recommend this resort to any couple looking for a romantic quick getaway!!
Sauna was not working but repaired quickly. Poolside food service was extremely slow even with a small of guests. Master of Ceremonies unnecessary silly games should be reserved for kids at camp- poolside DJ very good
After several visits to Paradise Stream and one to Pocono Palace trying both all inclusive and room only options, we found the Diana's Oasis suite with room only option to be the best option for us. We request the same room number each stay so we know what to expect in relation to the general condition of the room (pool condition and deep divet in center of mattress). We've found the pillows to be of poor quality but something you deal with. Our reservation was made in early 2016 whereby the receipt specifically line itemed a 18% gratuity which leads you to believe tipping staff is covered in your stay. However a staff member in the nightclub was quick to tell guests he only makes $2/hour and gratuity/tips were not included...Even though it was on our reservation confirmation. Overhearing that as well as seeing him at the front desk complaining to staff was unprofessional. The menu changes are a nice improvement for most guests I'm sure. We just don't find the food to be very good and prefer to eat elsewhere. We requested no seafood on prime rib night but was served the meal with seafood anyway. This should be addressed to avoid potential health issues due to food allergies.
We find the private pool in room to be very relaxing and it is always the highlight of our stay.
Recommendation to management would be to allow room only stays count toward the stay five get one free for forever lovers members.
We had a wonderful time celebrating our 20th Anniversary at Paradise Stream. We stayed in the Diana Oasis. Room was clean and the mattresses must be new because we slept wonderfully. It looks like the bathrooms were updated too along with the tiles in the pool area. We are forever lovers for 15 years so we will be back. Food was excellent along with service. Our only disappointment was the weather and nightly entertainment mid-week. Outside maintenance still needs some updating to be more appealing.
We stayed in Diana s oasis. Partially because it was advertised as newly renovated . Clearly far from the truth. Everything was outdated. Pool in room looked very uncleanly with black cigarette like burns at the bottom. There was also not enough water in the pool so we heard the basket filter clucking all night. Hair in hot tub, had to scrub it myself. Disappointed in maid service. We didn t have enough towels, cups, and toilet paper to begin with so after we called and she came, she barely tidied up which I should have expected due to the uncleanliness of the room. Pics online of rooms were different than what we experienced. Food was a hit or miss. Somethings were really good while others, not so much. Staff was friendly. We were really looking forward to the activities but were disappointed. Most things were off the resort and you had to pay extra money, which on the website makes it sound as though everything is included. So we were only able to do cornhole, fishing, and mini golf (small, located right in front of the resort. Which are all activities I can easily do at home. We traveled 45 mins to Pocono palace and even called ahead of time to see if paintball was available in which the lady agreed. When we got there we were told paintball was not available. Overall, very disappointed for the amount spent and what we received. Totally not worth it.
This establishment was beautiful. There was a leak in our wall but overall experience was wonderful gave us a chance to escape.
We tried to give this place a second chance after having the worst experience the first time only to come back an have the same issues the room was dirty filled up the jacuzzi to find all kinds of dirt floating in the water called ahead of time so the pool temp can be put up an when we get in the pool it s cold for the price I paid it definitely wasn t worth it I could of got a better room for a week for a lot cheaper I guess we won t be coming back her again I have the nasty photos to post but it won t allow me to post them
Everything was great from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. Loved the Champagne Tower Suite. Food was very good and plenty of activities throughout the day and into the evening. We did have a problem with running out of hot water and not being able to fill up the champagne glass whirlpool , however they quickly changed us into another room and even took off the room charges for that evening. I did not ask for anything it was just offered to us so it was a pleasant surprise. So much so that my wife and I decided to stay an extra evening. The only thing sort of negative I would say is that the one CXO (not gonna mention his name) just didn't bring the energy like CXO Billy or some of the other CXO's at other locations I have been to.
This was our second time at paradise stream. Our first time was in 2011 which was a great experience. We also stayed a few nights in covehaven in 2013 and were dissapointed with the facility, so we were excited to return to Paradise stream again. We now qualify for a free night for our next visit but it is very unlikely that we will be returning. We stayed in Garden of Eden room 317. The pool was dirty and with grimeand the cover had mold on it. The sauna did not work, the shower head is horribley old splashing water everywhere. The bose speakers were not connected and finally after spending time connecting them the sound volume couldnt be adjusted either thru the unit or the remote. The heater unit made a very loud popping sound every 30 mins or so which startled us as we slept. We chose not to eat there to explore the areas restaurants, but we ate breakfast on the day we checked out and the bakeries and bread were not fresh, but the restaurant staff was great and accomodating unlike the front desk who were not very approachable for the most part. In one interaction, we asked for plastic silverware to take back to the room and instead of bringing to us the 2 people at the front desk asked us to go ask someone in the lounge and if they were not busy, they will give us!
Not sure why the overall quality has dropped this much, my wife and I had very different expectations and were very disappointed..
Wooww romantic spot .... Itz bit expensive but a perfect place for celebrating our 1st annivesary reallyy enjoyed alottt ,,, worth for penny
The place is very outdated. Our suite was covered with small fragments of deteriorated ceiling tiles. The hot tub had a bunch of broken tiles and not of all of the lights worked. That being said the room Is fun.
We honeymooned here, well worth the money had a blast
We have been going there for 4 years and where very disappointed to find out breakfast in your room was stopped and the candlelight dinner food was extra. No horse and carriage ride and we paid around 1000.00 for a room free breakfast bike ride paddleboats etc. Nothing to make this a really special getaway for 2. VERY SAD
This trip was a great getaway.....secluded, quiet, fun and relaxing.....the food was awsome and fulfilling......will be going again SOON!
Our first experience was not that great. We rent one of the Champagne Tower Suites with pool n fireplace. The mirrors were cracked , the fireplace flute was stuck shut, there was no water pressure and worst of all the mini fridge was not working at all. So Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Wine became worthless. All was brought to the attention of manager with in 45 minutes of our arrival. We stayed 3 days n 2 nights...nothing was done about the fireplace or the fridge. No offer to change rooms or any compensation. I really expected more for over 300 a night. Room 409
And no response other then they will look into it...
Room was clean and I absolutely loved the indoor pool and the heart shaped hot tub. on our way there we were second guessing if we would REALLY have our own pool in our room, but you do! and there's a fireplace in that same room with the pool. Beautiful and relaxing stay I really loved it. the pool could've been a little cleaner and I think because the bed is a circle the "fitted" sheets weren't staying on very well. overall though I will definitely return to this resort. my boyfriend loved it too.
The pictures online made the resort look so much more fancier than it really is. I think maybe this resort is best for individuals who are older in age or have children. it s small, not much to do aside from mini golf, archery, and other outdoor sports. Some of the arrows were broken, and one target was completely detached from the wall. Those activities are nice but not really what people go to resorts for. When we got to our room and started to fill up our jacuzzi, we found a toenail clipping. Needless to say that made the biggest (negative) impression. Our meals were not fresh tasting, I don t recommend getting steak and lobster. We left early the next day to take a road trip. I will say the staff was friendly and courteous, and the entertainment was fun.
Staff is wonderful! A lot of activities that are included with "Room Only" deal. We opted out of all-inclusive because of price of meals.
Our room is semi-clean. Dusty and dried glass rings on night stand. Not even worth complaining about it.
Definitely worth coming back!
My wife & I celebrated my birthday over the weekend & the Entire Staff from checking in to waitresses & Breakfast & Dinner service & the Bands at the bar were absolutely wonderful .. we even had a slight issue w the jacuzzi & maintenance was there immediately & resolved the problem. Everything & Everyone was Amazing, beyond helpful & polite.. I thank them all for helping make our weekend getaway Great!
When we first entered our room the smell was horrible. The floors were filthy and the overall quality of the room is horrible. We did approach the front desk about the odor and were told we would recieve a room deodorizer. The deodorizer never came. We stayed in the garden of Eden.
We were there a few weeks ago for our 24th anniversary. We enjoyed the place very much. The food was really good. The lounge was very relaxing and we both enjoyed the staff. This is a shout out to Diane and Amanda for excellent drinks and great conversation.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was extremely nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a very good time while we were there and enjoyed the entertainment that was provided.
No other place like this for me and my hosband was a great experience
The rooms are nice. Area seems to be a bit run down. Plenty of things to do on resort
We had the time of our lives and everyone was courteous and ALL employees seemed happy to work there! We had a great front desk person named Simone who made sure we had everything we needed and were happy with everything! Definitely need another trip soon!
This place needs to b updated. Seems to be falling apart everywhere
Very nice couples getaway
Me and fiance had a great time
Had to switch rooms because of the ants in the room. The food wasn't very good in the morning and the diner we went to was worse. I threw up everything I ate and then some.
Room was ok everything else horrible from workers to entertainment. Also a 20 dollar a night fee that they don't tell you about until your checking out.Don't waste your money here I highly advise going somewhere else.I took a chance despite the bad reviews an trust me I regret it
I was pleasantly pleased at the rooms and service definitely will be stay again! Rooms were clean pool was awesome jacuzzi was amazing service staff and food were also great!
Great room with a lot to do at the resort and even more to do nearby.
We only stayed one night, didn't do any of the activities included. Loved the room, personal pool, sauna and Jacuzzi!!! So relaxing!!! Couple of minor things like cigarette burns all over, no outlets near the bed to plug in phones. Sauna was a pain to get in and out of (small entrance) & the controls for the Jacuzzi was on the other side of the wall which was also a pain. none of these things would stop us from returning! A little pricey so we have to save up but can't wait to go back and stay for longer!!!
I have to say that the overall experience was quite the let down. The rooms look NOTHING like they do on the website. They are much smaller, and a lot less clean. I was quite disappointed with the amount of bugs in the room as well. I understand it's on a lake, and the bugs are inevitable, but they put a light right outside the door - so when you get back at night, there are 100's of bugs surrounding the door and it's impossible not to let them in. I also found a dead bug in our jacuzzi - needless to say we did not use that. I was also pretty disappointed to arrive about 4:30 pm, and was told that my room wasn't ready yet and that check in was any time up until 6:00 pm and I basically just had to wait.
Now seriously, this is also THE WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I paid the extra money for the all-inclusive breakfast and dinner - and could not eat a thing at dinner. The second night I went off the premises, the food was so horrendous. I was seriously appalled.
The games and activities are worn out and there isn't much to choose from. I did it all in less than 2 hours. The second day there I drove to another resort - thank God. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Complete letdown, and definitely not worth the money.
Oh, and also filled out the loveletters that I absolutely cannot find anywhere on the website. Another letdown!
Our room had a great set up but wasn't very clean. Mold over the entry door on ceiling, mildew in the tub grout, Carpet next to T.V. has never been vacuumed. The pool area had a pile of dirt or wood chips in the left corner. The pool bottom needs a touch up paint job. We had a 1 o'clock check out and my husband and I were trying to sleep before our long drive home and house keeping knocked on the door at 11 then again at 11:30 and then the front desk called our room at 11:55. Front desk called and said we had 11 o'clock check. After me flipping out because I was annoyed that my sleep was interrupted three times in a matter of an hour, the girl apologized and said that there was a mistake. Well that's not acceptable. I paid good money to come and relax for 24 hours with out my 4 children. If I wanted interruptions I could have saved myself a lot of money and lock myself in my bedroom at home.
On a good note food was good. We had a awsome bartender named Maria that made up for the bad experience with dirty room and interruptions.
Celebrating my husband's birthday, enjoying our beautiful Champagne towers room
My boyfriend and I had just returned from a weekend away at this resort and I could NOT wait to write this review. THIS RESORT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. We checked into our room on Friday afternoon and the resort does not really look how you imagine it to. It looks like a danky motel, rather than a resort you want to get away to with your significant other. We stayed in the Champagne Tower suite, which was honestly, at most - just eh. It was cool to have the jacuzzi and pool in our room but the room when we arrived was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom was not clean AT ALL. The shower had hair in the drain and dirt in it still, with what looked like a cleaning product that wasn t even washed off. The carpet was disgusting with dirt and everything they advertised online, such as the packages are really not what you picture and was such a waste of money. The room had so much potential and it was gone to waste how dirty it is. There also definitely needs to be upgrades for the rooms in terms of carpeting, curtains, and tables. It has a cheap motel vibe inside while paying hotel prices. I called the next day to let them know (as I believed they would have daily cleanings like normal hotels) what had happened and requested cleaning services. They said due to Covid-19 they would not be cleaning, only providing towels/sheets, etc. I was furious that in between guests they had cleaned so poorly, even during a time like this. They then agreed to send cleaning service over and to leave the room for a couple of hours. We went to a nearby winery (Mountain View Vineyard) which was amazing and definitely recommend to anyone in the nearby area. We were gone for SIX HOURS and we came back to see all they did was make the bed, took the garbage out, and left towels. I called the front desk again and they informed me they can send someone but we would have to leave for another two hours. It was extremely frustrating but at that point I let it go, we wanted to relax in our room after a long day out. We also paid for all inclusive services and the food was genuinely so horrible. I am not a picky eater whatsoever but the food seemed to be basically all frozen foods heated up. We ate there for breakfast and dinner once and then never again. The activities they advertise online varies between location and Paradise Stream really didn t have anything really fun to do (my personal opinion). The one thing I have to say, is most of the staff was very nice and helpful, most of the things we complained about were out of their control but they tried their best to accommodate. Overall the experience was only fun because I was with my significant other and we spent most days outside of the resort. I would never recommend this place to anyone for the pricing and the food offered and ESPECIALLY the cleaning, it really felt like a waste of money and I cannot imagine myself going back. This place has so much potential and it s sad to see it wasted.
