For several months, I had a dispute with a electronic health records company over an invoice. After my last phone call to them, in which they flatly refused to discuss the issue further, I filed a complaint with the BBB. Within two days, the dispute was resolved and I received notice that the invoice was being cancelled. I couldn't believe how quick and effective this was, and I am extremely impressed and grateful for it!

I am not sure who to turn to after reading these reviews. T mobile has charged me for making two international calls to Norway. Black people knows no one in Norway. So there is Noway it came from my phone. I'm being charged close to $90.00 now. First it was $200. something. Tmoble never sent me a statement to dispute with them only a bill text. I ask whats going on t-mobile said they can't say. But they sent my bill straight to the collection agency in less than 30 days. Problem date 7,6,19 collection letter 8,5,19. Something is missing. Statement, for my yay or nay. Nothin. They said my statement would arrive on the next billing cycle, no statement. Override me and went straight to the collection agency. See i am helping an elderly person it's not really my phone it belongs to my mother in law it's a flip phone. They said the call was made front the phones ein number. Hmmmmm. Fishy. Taking advantage of the elderly is elder abuse. Knowing mainly elders use the flip for simplicity.

Completely incompetent and sloppy operation. They downgraded our property from an A rating to D over a complaint that actually was not about our property. They got us mixed up with another apartment complex in another city. The complaint contains serious allegations and made us look terrible but again it was UNTRUE and INCORRECT because the BBB put it in the wrong company profile. Once I reached out to these losers to fix the problem all they did was change our rating back to an A . They still left the FALSE and INCORRECT review on our page. We are now suing the BBB for negligence and libel.

I had been fighting with a large company for weeks, and finally thought of the BBB. Within 2 days I had a call from the large company who worked on settling my issue. I will use the BBB again, as its the only way a small person can get across to a large corp.

I filed a complaint against Nursing and Behavioral Health Services, LLC and it has yet to be posted on the bbb website. People need to see how dirty they treat their clients! How they cut you off without telling you, while giving you the run around, and then completely ignore you! I went with the company because at the time I researched them, they had no bad reviews and an A+ rating! After, I paid my money, I noticed a couple negative reviews but the company's rating never changed! That is very deceiving!

I keep reading the responses from the BBB representative saying that the rating's aren't based on reviews. Well what are they based on? Most customers don't know that! When they come to your site to research a company and they see the A+ rating and no complaints, they assume that it's a good company. I thought the BBB was for the people but it seems that they're for businesses.

The BBB doesn't seem like the reputable organization it once was. What a shame!

At this point, i'm upset with BBB and the person who I ordered my shirt from. It is now 2/11/16 and I placed my order on the 5th of November. Where is the help that I'm suppose to receive BBB?

It looks as though many people are leaving reviews regarding other companies for the BBB, but as a business owner using the BBB for credibility it has been a wonderful experience thus far. My account support person, Lauren Myers, has by far been the most professional and pleasant person to work with. If you have a business and are lucky enough to be able to use their service I highly recommend!

Honestly, without a forum like the BBB, the remaining options to have a company address an issue are cumbersome at best. We have social media that allows a consumer to poorly rate a company - but of course is indirect and, in my case, the company I had a problem with already had plenty of negative reviews (of course I didn't know this until I had a problem). Some communities have consumer-advocates, but your problem would have to be of real interest to them. And there are small claims court, which requires time, patience, court costs...and still the possibility of no remediation. The BBB give a great forum for consumers to have a direct mediation of their problem with a company, and is a better incentive for a company to address the issue so that they can remain in good standing. Had it not been for the BBB, I'm sure the company I had a problem with would not have offered me any remediation and I'd still be dealing with them today. Instead, my problem was solved in less than 20 days. Very grateful for this forum!

BBB solved my issue with att in a timely manner. Once i filed a complaint i got a login to view or change complaint and to see updates. After that they gave some time to business to respond to this and att called me up and settled the problem. Thank you so much BBB. A small suggestion from my side please change your website layout after we login to the complaint. Its confusing at times. Thanks again!

The Atlanta BBB is a joke. It is suppose to protect the consumer against unethical business practices but instead, protects business' from angry consumers who have been defrauded or other wise wronged by questionable business practices. Evidence of this bias is over whelming by BBB refusing to post the complaints made against business' within its jurisdiction. Don't support any BBB is your area and boycott their events and other organized activities. Instead, insist to the local authorities that it be forced to leave your area as an undesirable entity.

I had never considered asking BBB for help in the past because normally businesses are quite cooperative in working out customer service issues. Recently, however, I ran into an issue with a cell phone provider not willing to correct a mistake made by one of their local dealers. I reported this to BBB and was shocked when two days later I actually got a call from a representative of the cell provider president's office. Incredible! The situation was quickly solved over the phone. Thank you BBB!!!

The bbb is pretending to be a government entity and giving A+ rating only yo businesses who pay. If you don't pay their yearly fees they give you a low rating a effect your reputation with the customers.
They put your information and their website and wont remove it.

I would be remiss by not stating the true sense of professionalism displayed by your office and Home Depot. I was in the mist of building a new house and associated problems when this occurred but while I believe it was racial and under compensated
- my Cert of Occ was more important since I was paying 2 mortgages since Jan 13.
Within the guidelines Mrs E Fox and Mr Moore did their very best. I will continue to shop at Home Depot. Thanxxx so very much

I tried to file a complaint against a company that I paid and they didn't do the job. But because I left a review I can't file a BBB complaint. You have no right to not file my complaint. You should advise us that if we leave a review we can't file a complaint. You shouldn't get the choice as to what we can file. Take down my review and file my complaint instead. That's what the BBB should do. But no they do what's easiest for them not what's best for the consumer.

I have been calling several days in a row now before close of business, the automated system tells me the hours of operation (which I'm calling within those hours) then the automation says we are currently closed please call back within normal business hours. Now I just called again on 12/20/2019 at 1:31pm the automation says they will be closed December 23rd to January 1st because of the holiday and to visit the web, no option to speak to anyone or press any key! It is the 20th not the 23rd! We are obviously trying to complain about companies already, so who do you turn the BBB into?

I contacted the BBB about a solicitation issue and they were prompt and efficient in contacting the company to rectify the issue. The result was the solicitor recanted their purchase claim against my company and ceased bogus payment notices immediately. Thank you BBB.

Michael Hansen you are WRONG. This BBB deserves a one star review you are the one who shouldn't be giving five star reviews just because people made mistakes writing the review. Even though those reviews should be under different businesses the end result of the mistake is completely justified. your review is the only one that has no relevance to this local bbb, at least the others are talking about a business that this BBB has jurisdiction over. you just gave five stars to make a comment about other peoples reviews. you have no business posting. onto my review: Incredible hold time. horrible BBB in 503 oak pl. atlanta ga. This review is for the actual BBB. The receptionist is a b#$%. very rude, argumentative constantly talking over you. no help. was told no one can answer the phone in the entire building. a lot of people work at this office its a large BBB. but apparently no one likes to answer their phone. most employees screen their calls. the receptionist is the worst.. did i mention there is a half hour wait time no matter what time you call. go ahead try to call now. the receptionist takes a really long slow time asking you questions about your case when she is not authorized to do anything but take messages and transfer calls. this is why you wait on hold so long. then she promises to do things and hangs up on you. hopefully the business you filed your grievance with isn't under this local BBB jurisdiction.

I HAD ISSUES WITH A COMPANY THAT I HAD BEEN DOING BUSINESS WITH FOR A WHILE AND WAS A DEDICATED CUSTOMER. BUT I FOUND MYSELF IN A SITUATION TO WHEREAS I WAS BEING OVER CHARGED AND THE ITEM THAT HAD PURCHASED HAD TO BE RETURNED TWICE DUR TO DEFECT. I STILL TO THIS DAY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ITEM AFTER BEING SENT OFF TWICE TO BE FIXED. ALONG WITH THE FACT THAT I HAD OCCURED AN ISSUE WITH ONE OF THE EMPLOYERS. AFTER CONTACTING BBB I WAS NOTIFIED BACK WITHIN 24 HOURS AND PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED ALONG WITH THE FACT I WAS OFFERED A BETTER REPLACEMENT FOR THE ITEM. BBB CONTINUED TO STAY IN CONTACT WITH ME TO MAKE SURE THE PROBLEM HAD BEEN RESOLVED. I REALLY APPRECIATE BBB AND THEIR HELPFULNESS WITH THIS SITUATION. I KNOW NOT EVERY SITUATION WILL BE HANDLED THE SAME WAY BUT AS LONG AS YOU DO WHAT BBB ASK OF YOU TO DO IT WILL ALL WORK OUT. Hello,
When I ended my services with Xfinity, I took their equipment back to their place in Hiram Georgia. The lady there told me Xfinity would send me the final bill through the mail.
I got that bill and it was over $400.00. I went back to that office and paid that bill.
Now Xfinity is coming back weeks later and saying I owe another $210.00.
This is a total rip-off. Can you imagine if Xfinity used this scam on a million people? That would be over a 200 million dollar tax-free profit margin for nothing.
You cannot let this company take advantage of people like that.

Its a Money Game.... they have NO CREDIBILITY AT ALL.

Total waste of time to enter a complaint against a medical company for constantly billing inaccurately. No action, taken, complaint dismissed based on a single non committal reply from the medical company. Provided plenty of evidence, input, and witnesses (including my insurance company who are pursuing the issue) and it was totally ignored. One of two causes: Either they don't care a bit about helping consumers, or, they know the people and refuse to pursue. An examination of the evidence will prove any statement made here. Am still fighting the issue as they did not honor their word to rebill the services correctly and are still trying to charge $500 too much!

I had made several calls in to Coca Cola regarding confusion with a Coke rewards item ordered. They refused to help me in any fashion in order to resolve the issue. And while it was simple and not a lot of points involved in the transaction, they still refused. I even mentioned that I would file a BBB report to several representatives in hopes of spurring positive results, even one who maintained himself in an escalated position of authority, all to no avail. So I did just what I said I would, I submitted an online complaint (actually the third this year involving problems and conflicts with my Coke Rewards) to the BBB of Atlanta. Also, since Coke is a BBB member, it gives a positive promise of amicable resolution. It was then, and only then (just as before) that my complaint was taken seriously enough (I feel) and resolved to satisfaction. I thank the bureau because it would not have happened had I not filed the complaint and had their assistance in two of these instances. I am appreciative because it made the difference.

Students beware! We received a notice from FAMS, a collection agency, about a student loan we did not recognize, which was in default. After several email communications and a copy of the original loan documents, we discovered that this was not our loan but a loan taken out by someone with the same name. FAMS made no effort to verify the correct borrower and now we have a copy of this other person's complete date of birth, SS# and signature!! Identity theft waiting to happen! All we received was an apology from the collection agency, thus my complaint to this BBB. They decided to accept FAMS resolution to this issue which amounted to an email apology, and had no response to the fact that someone could pay off a random loan for someone else. Then just try to get your money back!

Not only did BBB not respond to us but they also did not post any negative information for potential customers to review. Clearly there must be a pay to play policy with this company. Not Ethical!

This is not a government agency that protects consumers. Accredited business means that you have paid them $500 for a year of advertising, nothing more. They give accreditation to rip off company's like payday lenders and title pawn shops, which Radio personality Clark Howard calls rip off company's.

The Better Business Bureau is nothing more than an advertising company.

Don't ever take your car to Atlanta Classic Cars Mercedes Benz Boggs rd Duluth to get repaired. Terrible Customer service they didn't get to the bottom of my problem. I had to come out of the pocket an additional 2,000 dollars for what they said was a problem and it wasn't the problem the managers were cold heart and no sympathy for the mechanics mess ups on miss diagnosed on my car terrible customer service. It took 3 days for the manager to give me a call back and the hardest person in the world to get in contact with. When he finally calls he has an attitude like I did something to him. I will definitely try to get in contact with fox 5 news or channel 2 news to get my money back.

There is really no point in relying on BBB ratings anymore or filing a complaint with them. Seems all a company has to do is 'respond' and they can keep their A+ rating. It's mind boggling that a property management company like Relocation Realty has an A+ rating. Furthermore, it seems odd that customer complaints filed against them do not appear on the BBB site. I was working with another woman who said that she filed a complaint and encouraged me to do the the same. Yet, I do not see her complaint or mine. I'll file a review with Yelp. At least I can count on them to post my review even if they don't help to resolve complaints and I'll be able to warn others. So, disappointed in the BBB for not resolving my issue. Now I know that their endorsement of a business is worthless.

Be aware! Companies who pay the BBB get better ratings and negative reviews removed. BBB is a for profit business and are not an advocate for consumers! There is no money in helping consumers... The BBB is and has always been a conflict of intrest to both parties. There money and revenue come from Business Membership Dues (FEES). They get nothing from consumers...... Go figure; doesnt take a rocket scientist folks! Dont listen to there BS excuse as if they represent both parties. I dont want a for profit entity to take both sides. Man o man!

BBB is just a waste and gives businesses bad rep. One of our customer complaint 3 years ago and we try to contact BBB and could never get hold off any one there and they decided to give us F for not responding for one compliant out of 20 years of doing business. Even today we try to call and we were on hold for 20 mins and then we get the message that no one is available to take your call. We also get calls from different department of BBB trying to sign us up for services which will not help us with our compliant but allow us to put BBB logo on our website. First, they need to learn how to be a better business or organization before rating other companies... It's a good concept but clearly they can't keep up or are able maintain, so they should just shut BBB down. Our customer was taken care off 3 years ago and it wasn't even our fault because customer wanted us to just give away free services for life just because he bought an item for less $100 with only one year of warrant. With this one compliant they are trying to make our business look bad for ever.

Honestly, Better Business Bureau has become a shill for corporate interests. They allow dishonest companies to thrive. For example, I had an issue with "Just Flowers" (who did not deliver flowers on Mother's day as they guaranteed). BBB has this company listed as an "A+". In turn, the company markets that they have an A+ rating as a means to entice customers to use them.

If you look them up on the BBB, however, they have an average rating of 1 out of 5 stars on BBB's own website (which has over 489 customer reviews). How can a company that is rated as 1 out of 5 stars have an A+ rating?

BBB just perpetuates misinformation now. It's sad. I think they used to be a legitimate company in the past.

IN REPLY TO THE BBB RESPONSE: With all due respect, the fact that BBB does not consider "customer reviews" in ranking and grading companies is problematic on so many levels. If customers continue to complain and leave poor reviews for a company, then how can they be highly accredited? Your priorities have been turned on their head.

Robin and I will always send business to Trace at Atlanta Roofing.com anytime we hear of someone needing a new roof. Trace is a master communicator. He looks after the customer and he communicates very well the features and benefits of doing business with him.
I'll bet there are none better at their job than he is, and now he has another addition to his staff besides Donnie...Peng. She is very very unusual in that she contributes so much to helping him and his business.
Our roof is a charcoal GAF HDZ architectural shingle, and has a ridge vent from end to end, and even on the three dormers. Trace suggested a black drip edge, and along with the white trim, and with the brick that covers the outside of the house, we have a beautiful home, lovely roof and extremely functional gutters to be proud of.
It was such a good fortune to have Trace and his people install the roof and gutters for us.
We will send him his check today.

There is really no point in relying on BBB ratings anymore. Companies like DirecPath get A+ and 3.7 stars some how, despite over a hundred complaints and 94% negative reviews.

The BBB's recommending a company makes as much sense as someone recommending Kevin Spacey as a good baby sitter.

Then they told me there is nothing they can do since the company didnt admit to doing anything wrong. What a total joke. The BBB is worthless.

I filed a complaint against Hicks Roofing with BBB. Even though they were not able to resolve my issue, I appreciate the professionalism and promptness.

Public: BEWARE!!! Stay away from Hicks Roofing. My experience has been extremely negative. I made the mistake of believing the salesman. Really thought I was dealing with a company that valued their customers. I was wrong. Letters to the owners were ignored. You can avoid the disappointment and frustration by not engaging Hicks.

More proof the BBB is a pay to play scam. EVO Payment systems - scam outfit - complaints all over the internet and the Atlanta Better Business Bureau has them rated A+ - BECAUSE EVO PAID for accreditation. One day this scam will come to backfire on the old BBB. EVO has 37 ONE star reviews - and 220 COMPLAINTS over the last 3 years....yet the A+ rating because they PAID. Someone needs to expose them to the government. My company filed a complaint with the BBB over EVO and the BBB refused to publish it. Apparently they are protecting this company. HOW do you have 220 complaints and an A+ rating? Don't believe a word the BBB says....EVO doesn't even answer half the complaints. You would think EVO would want to take care of their customers - NOPE. I know TIME Magazine did an article exposing the BBB and so did CNN....I hope the rest of the country learns.

I had all but given up in a dispute I was having with a local business. I finally filed a detailed review of my expience with the BBB and WOW things changed quickly after that. The business owner suddenly had time for me, cared about my experience and was responsive to my requests. If you have a legitamate complaint, present yourself professionally and keep it clean... the BBB can really be the assest that you need to break through the barriers and get the service you deserve and the resolve you desire.

I complained against them and i received the response within very short period of time. To my surprise, they resolved the case within a week.
I recommend you to take some time to afford BBB service if you face any difficulty in resolving some dispute/complain regarding business/practices (as per guideline by BBB) .

I can honestly say as my first time using the BBB services, I received results immediately. I initially thought companies that are large corporations would not care to respond because they can bully one consumer. Once my complaint was made, the company took 2 weeks to respond and I received the results that I set out to get. Relying on BBB really yielded great results, because I made a few attempts to reach out to the company and they would ignore me. So thanks to BBB.

Why is Atlanta Better Business Division closing customer complaints about Georgia Power's unfair business practices without investigating? I filed a complaint because Georgia Power demanded I pay 3X the amount of my monthly bill as a deposit. CASE CLOSED. That's the response? Really? This lofty bill came just as the hot weather starts. I feel pressured to pay it even though its unfair and unwarranted. This is a health risk for disabled people who have fixed or low income and can't pay 3x their bill. Why is Georgia Power's money grabbing demands being ignored? Don't they have enough money in their huge bank accounts?

The econo lodge inn and suites in Marietta ga was nasty and the customer service was horrible. I came from south georgia to stay the weekend with my fiance and he booked the room late on the 26th of june 2020 for us to arrive on june 27 2020. When we arrived to the hotel the clerk informed us that we had missed our stat because it was schedule for the 26th instead of the 27th. Theg would not change the reservation nor would they refund us or money for the roon they didnt offer a discout. So now im in Atlanta searching for somewhere to stay for the night....

Have been trying for a week to contact BBB, no phone answer except recording and voice mail; no people available. Used web site as voice mail suggested to try and file a complaint for Valero corner market in Mineral Bluff, GA. BBB web site says it does not exist; but no people available even by e-mail so no recourse available. I hope someone with the BBB reads this ! What a shame to have to file against the BBB itself! ! !

I had a very bad experience with a U.P.S delivery driver,The individual had used his delivery vehicle to block my vehicle in a spot that made it impossible for me to go on my way I sounded my horn to make the driver aware I wanted to go past him before he left his vehicle to make his delivery.
The driver looked up at me through his windshield and motioned to me with his middle finger and proceeded to exit his vehicle while mouthing the words white cracker and saying something I could not fully make out.
A day or two later when i had returned home after my trip I decided to contact the company with my complaint and had no satifaction until I refered to the BBB with my story,After being contacted by the BBB U.P.S made immediate contact with me appoligizing for the imcident and brought company charges against the driver for his actions.
If not for the BBB the driver may have continued to insult the public in this way and mar the reputation of the company who he worked for.
Thank you BBB for all of your attention to my complaints I highly recomend the BBB if anyone has a complaint about a business who refuses to respond to a complaint.

PROOF the Better Business Bureau is FAKE. Look up First Data Merchant Services in the Atlanta BBB. They 85 reviews - 84 1 star & 1 neutral. NO positive. AGAIN NO POSTIVE. AND 1014 COMPLAINTS. The BBB still gives these jokers an A+ rating. I understand First Data does their credit card processing. HOW do you get an A+ rating with so many complaints? BBB protects and lies for big companies like these. People know the BBB is pay to play scam...well known now. The BBB are paid franchise by city - they ARE NOT a government agency. Non-profit does not mean Non-revenue. There is no trust in the BBB. We posted a complaint about Fist Data - guess what - the BBB refused to post it. And now refuse to return out calls. Look up the BBB on the internet under reviews - go past their website results - endless complaints about the BBB.

I was disputing long distance charges with At&t because they did not come from my household and I placed several calls to them within a 4 week time frame with no resolution. I decided to contact BBB and advise them of what is going on. I was finally contacted by At&t the VERY NEXT DAY after a month for a resolution. After that I was given a credit for all the charges within a few days. BBB helped out A lot! I couldn't be happier.

There is so many people who have business and this company bbb slanders them and post whatever anybody writes about you! They never help you unless you are accredited with them! They make your business look bad and force people and buyers to not buy from your business by posting whatever bad things a customer of upset person post about you! This is poor business practice. This just seems to me that you dont care and leave the customer just hanging out there. BBB was not much help up to this point. The company is One Bus Express.

Horrible Office , Everytime I call this Office to contact Linda Cleaves regarding my complaint against Equifax , They are always closed ,After seeing all the reviews I'm not surprised. I've dealt with this office in the past La Nada Green refused to take anymore of complaints and was very nasty,rude, over the phone and in her emails . I've reported this office numerous times to other agencies. I see I'm not the only one having issues with this office. The picture posted of boxes laying around all over the living room in this profile shows how messed up and unclean and not organized their office is and to publish that online says it all lol.

I need help with one of their products. I have spoken with 2 people. Both have not followed up or resolved my concern. No response to my follow emails asking for help. They've left me completely hanging. I have called their office. NO one is available to speak with, ever! I still have a problem with one of their products and NO RESOLUTION! Super disappointed and very frustrated.

I had a problem with Home Depot refunding my money for a chain saw they shipped to the wrong address . After 2 weeks of trying to get my money refunded I contacted the BBB. Lo and behold my money was refunded the very next day ! Sure was very helpful ! Highly recommend the BBB.

The Better Business Bureau contacted Equifax on my behalf and Equifax agreed to mail me a copy of my report. I was very satisfied with the speed and professionalism they showed while assisting me. I have been trying for a week to get Megan Reid from the BBB to call me back about an issue with complaint that was left for our company and I have yet to receive a call back or a return email. She apparently is the person that is in charge of handling my type of problem, so no one else can help me. I have sent her 2 emails and left her 3 voicemails, but I have yet to hear a peep from her. I spoke with another customer service rep (who couldn't help me) and they gave me her back up person's info, so I called and it went straight to voicemail. Pretty hilarious that I'm having major customer service issues with the BBB. You can't make that up.

They gave me the typical brush off, so I finally filed a Better Business Bureau Complaint. The company was a new company from Atlanta, so I filed it my complaint in Atlanta. It got visibility and attention. Someone from the BBB tracked our responses back and forth. The BBB represented carefully watched, and the company finally came around because of the low rating they were given.

My name is Stella and I am very disappointed in the United State Post Office at 5050 Union City, Georgia. Mrs. Sims is an acting supervisor at this location and she was very hostile with me. Mrs. Sims grab paperwork out of my hands very aggressive and I lost my balance and almost fell and leaving me with the corner of the paperwork where I was still holding on to. The corner of the paperwork is proof that I once had it in my possession. The paperwork was an application for refund that was giving to me by another united state post office employee. I was told by that employee to take that refund application to another post office because there was not a supervisor present at that location at that time. I went to another post office and Mrs. Sims grab the application out of my hands very hostile leaving me in tears and would not give the application back and would not refund the money. The application had all my personal information and I don't trust her with it because of her behavior and she should not keep it since she did not refund the money. The refund was from an express mail that was not deliver on time and I am entitle to that refund because the post office didn't fill their obligation. I file a complaint online with the United State Post Office and receive an email from Mrs. Sims and she is handling her own complaint case and did not turn it over to her supervisor. I contact consumer affairs and took all the proper channels; however, no resolution. I file this complaint on Sept. 13, 2017 and the post office of the untied state is not taking this matter serious. Mrs. Sims is an acting supervisor and her job should be to deescalate the situation and reduce the intensity of a conflict; however she was very hostile, aggressive and forcefully took the paperwork out of my hand and caused a conflict. Mrs. Sims behavior could of caused and unsafe environment for her employees as welled as her customer but I remain professional. No one should be treated this way. I am a cancer patient and Mrs. Sims bullying me by being aggressive and causing me to lost my balance and almost fell. Mrs. Sims needs more training and should not be a superiors. And I am disappointed in the Untied State Post Office for not taking this matter serious.

So I filed a complaint with fair housing of Georgia, the bbb has been contacted! And my attorney is searching Their Indiana office now for more information. Private held company! Their violating our rights. Not on my watch tho!
