I bought a Honda CR-V from John at Apple Tree. I found the entire experience to be stress free and low pressure. I was treated fairly, with respect and was not subjected to any of the hidden fees that so many car dealers will try to sneak in on you. I will certainly buy another vehicle from Apple Tree when the time comes.

The service reception is excellent, but all I wanted was an NC inspection, and received that plus a multi-point inspection. The time spent at the dealership was about 90 minutes, longer than I would have liked.
Scott Benson was my salesperson. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and found me the car I needed. I am very happy with both the car and the service I received.
The service department is terrible at answering ph calls for basic questions. Everytime I try to call there is no answer. And even after leaving a voicemail nobody tends to return that voicemails.
Peter Estrada, thank you so very much for your time in assisting us with our 2019 Odyssey phone connection. It was nice finding someone as courteous and helpful as you were.
Apple tree gave me the best car buying experience I have ever had. They don t pull you around and try to put you in a car that you can t afford or get your hopes up. Elizabeth and Ibis are hands down my go to s at Apple tree. They communicated with me and delt with me while trying to get out of a car. I will most likely be a Honda owner for life now.
I went to Apple Tree Honda one time and I will never be going back. After making an appointment more than a week in advance to get a recall done and to make sure they had the part in stock, I took my car in at 8 AM. They told me the car would be ready by 12. I was dropped back off at the dealership at 12 to find that my car had not been touched. Not only had my car not moved since I had parked it, they told me that they did not have the part in stock and I would have to come back. At this point I told them that I would take it to a different dealership to have it repaired and requested to have my keys back so I could leave. I was told that they "lost" my key. After an hour of me waiting, they told me my key had been filed incorrectly in someone else's folder and asked me when I would like to come back. I would recommend going to any other dealership even if it means a significant drive. DO NOT GO TO APPLE TREE HONDA. You will regret your experience.
I am appalled at the experience I had today at Apple Tree service dept. I have bought 3 brand new Hondas within the last two years, and until today was considering buying another one. I took my 2015 CR-V in to have the washer sprayer fixed under my existing 3/36 warranty, and was told by the service advisor that based on his smell test on a shop rag of unknown origin, that in his opinion the fluid was contaminated and had caused the pump to fail.
The only problem with the sprayer is that it had run low on fluid, and I went to Advance and bought a new gallon of Rain-X washer fluid, and topped up the reservoir. I did this myself and therefore know that the fluid is new and clean. I went from a sprayer that worked 100% fine one minute, to a sprayer that does not work at all, and the only change was adding new, clean fluid. This evaluation blew my mind. I am not an idiot, and I am very honest. I refuse to pay for a warranty issue, as I have already paid for three warranties and never used one for any reason.
I am waiting a call from their service manager, and I hope that he will see fit to do the right thing. I am a retired engineer, I know pumps and power, as well as the effects of chemical attack on pumps and seals. I have plenty of time to follow up on this, and if I do not get correct redress of this issue, I will take it up as many levels as needed to get fair treatment.
Just wow... After about 100 cumulative phone rings and 3 attempts to make an appointment for my 2006 honda pilot with an active recall, I was finally connected with a woman clearly not thrilled with her job of answering phones. I said I needed to make an appointment for my honda which had an open recall and gave her my name. She pulled up my information, since I have been a past customer, and told me the following facts: 1. That was only the first letter and I should be receiving another in the mail when the recall replacement parts are actually available. (This letter clearly states to not transport passenger side occupants) 2. When I inquired about a potential rental car I was point blank told "Honda doesn't really care because it was the passenger side and the passengers can either ride in the back seat or not ride. You can either turn off the airbag or have them ride in the back seat." But there's a family of 5 here...... Did you just suggest to endanger the lives in my car?? I cannot believe that was suggested to me so calmly like it was rehearsed and not her first bad suggestion. Then the conversation ended. No apology for this inconvenience, no we hope for a resolution soon, NOTHING. I have never been so insulted with any of my car dealings to date. Just wow.
I have always had great service with Apple Tree Honda. Tony Atkins was a fantastic help in getting me the perfect car for my needs. He was very patient in letting me test drive a couple of models. Wonderful conversation, would highly recommend.
I have now experienced both the service and sales department. Both were wonderful experiences. All dealerships are different and can be horrible, but this was an exceptionally better experience in both sales and getting a car serviced. I really appreciate it and won t forget it. I will pass it along!
I am really not sure if I will EVER shop here again. I don't even know if this dealership really knows how to do business. I clearly heard an altercation between what appeared to be 2 associates. It sounded heated and angry and made not only me uncomfortable but also other associates from what I could tell. I will NEVER send anyone here and I will not set foot in this dealership again.
I went to look at a hrv they didn t have the color or fwd only had awd. Had to tell Tony 3 times I didn t want the awd and it wasn t the color I wanted. I also had brought up how ashboro had brand new hrv ex for $22,000 and Tony went on to say how they are liars and that price isn t true. They wanted around $25,000 at apple tree and only would come down a couple hundred bucks. He then went and got one of the managers and he kept saying how the ashboro honda is lying and shouldn t be doing that etc. bottom line is Tony and the gang are the ones who are liars and trying to get $3,000 more when I can go down the road and get treated right and not lied to my face. Went the next day to ashboro Honda got the brand new hrv I wanted for $22,000 in and out in 2 hours. Ashboro said keep sending them business they appreciate it. And I appreciated it also.
Recently had the pleasure of purchasing new vehicle from Apple Tree Honda. I have been purchasing cars for over 35 years, dealing with many car dealers and sales people throughout the east cost. Apple Trees has found the right value proposition for their market. I researched my specific auto with several dealers over several weeks. Had to travel over 1 hour to apple tree. Decided to purchase here strictly because of sales representative Stephanie Diltz. Her patience, professionalism, determination and follow through confirmed my buying decision. Congratulations Apple Tree in understanding that employees like Stephanie are the only differentiation between honda dealers and key to company success.
We love buying from Appletree Honda! We have bought 3 cars from them before and traded in 1. We used to buy from Duane Rigsby who was great when he assisted with our first 2 cars and now this time around it was Tony Atkins. Tony was everything you want in a salesman. He was professional, courteous, knowledgable and patient as he helped us find the perfect car (Honda Odyssey) for our family. He went far above and beyond your average salesman. Before selling us a vehicle, Tony showed us multiple cars before we found the right one. He could have sold us any one of those vehicles, but prevented us from pursuing ones that were not a good quality vehicle. He made sure he did not violate his conscious of selling a subpar vehicle to a buyer just to make a deal. He made sure the deal was fair for both parties. He also has many connections with businesses that sell aftermarket parts. He told us about some that have products that we mentioned we were interested in. We are so glad to have a reliable and honest dealership in Appletree Honda and highly recommend Tony Atkins to anyone considering buying a vehicle from Appletree.
I had an excellent experience at Apple Honda. They have a great team. Everyone I interacted with was patient, respectful, and professional. I want to really point out my salesperson Tania, the sales manager Jody, and the business manager Don since those are the folks that worked with me. They all took time to answer my questions and they were very courteous and welcoming. In the past I have had some really negative experiences at other dealerships, where salespeople can put a lot of pressure on customers and can be dishonest. At Apple Honda I did not feel any pressure to make a decision and everyone I dealt with was straightforward and transparent. I would also emphasize that everyone was patient and I never felt rushed. Because of these experiences I decided pretty quickly that I wanted to buy my car there. I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone.
5 stars for sure! I was at the time where I needed a new car- Josh and everyone was so helpful there to make this process as easy as possible! I gave a list of things I wanted in a car and what my needs were and Josh found a car for me that surpassed that, that I fell in love with. If you are looking for a car stop by Apple tree, you won t be disappointed!
Fantastic service department..they take good care of our vehicles and explain every repair needed. They show you the old part and get the best price for new parts and repairs. We TRUST this dealer which says everything in this day and time.
This service department is fantastic. Everyone is very professional and knowledgeable. Brenda was awesome as always. Told me when the car would be ready, and it was. Went over the inspection report with me. Told me about the oil change rebate. This is the only place I take the Honda to.
Their new facility is pretty nice, but they could still use some work on their time estimates, and as one would expect, their sales staff are pretty pushy. One tried to convince me that my car was basically done for because I had it in for a routine oil change.
Apple Tree and my salesperson Stephanie went way above and beyond the definition of customer service. I will be a loyal customer for life. It is a no pressure very professional environment. I can't say enough about them. If you are out of state it is worth your drive to Asheville to buy your Honda from Apple Tree!
I had a wonderful experience with Apple Tree Honda. The sales representative, JR, helped me purchase my vehicle, and he answered all my questions with a friendly and professional manner. I would definitely recommend this location.
Disgraceful service. Fix the car you sold my dad. Deceipt and betrayal of a loyal customer is unforgivable behaviour. As a business owner with a very large fleet of Hondas (dads advice), you will be delighted to know I have just cancelled my order for this years new fleet. Zero out of ten. Treat every client well. That old man you patronize may just be the hand that feeds you.
My daughter bought a certified pre-owned honda accord from this dealership in Asheville NC. So...where do we begin? First she did her homework to already have the finance piece in place. Her bank approved her for the loan but the sales people there insisted they could get a better deal with interest rates and the whole 9. They promised to run her credit only once. Of course they lied, they ran her credit 9 times! She still ends up having to use her bank. 2. They filled the car with gas and she went on her way. The next day, less than 24 hours, six dashboard lights come on. Serious lights like braking systems and check engine. She takes it to their service department only to hear that it may be bad gas. What??? Is this quality in the eyes of Apple Tree Honda? If they believe this to be do, they're seriously mistaken. Horrible buying experience. I will update you on the maintenance experience shortly.
Service Advisor Joseph took great care of me. Very polite young man. They took care of my front brake job and car wash in just a couple hours when we were in the area on vacation. Nice waiting area. Well run dealership imho. Nice work guys!
Just be smart and DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! Car promised by service department at 1pm. Now 3pm. Tried to reach them 3 times b4 driving 40 minutes. On hold 15 minutes each time and never an answer. Of course, when we drove in, all 5 service managers not on phone or with customers. Asked sales to price the Odessey for trade Joshua in sales said too busy with a possible sale to value it...for 5 hours. Doubt it. Tony Atkins in sales never returned my 2 calls to purchase a car. Must be nice. Better to slam your thumb in a sliding door than come here. That's what u get with only 1 dealership in town. A huge problem in Asheville. DON'T COME HERE, OR DON'T BLAME ME FOR SAYING I TOLD U SO.
We have owned 14 Honda's over the past 40 years and have been very well satisfied. The last three new Honda Odyssey's we purchased from Ibis Sherren at Apple Tree Honda in Fletcher, NC. All a tremendous experience until our purchase of a 2018 in March 2018.
We chose to finance the 2018 with American Honda Finance Corp. at 0% interest AND purchased a $499 Capital Max Pro 60 month coverage for PDR (Paintless Dent Repair).
About 12 months after our purchase, we discovered a dent on our left fender. Called Capital and were told to go to Apple Tree Honda in Fletcher, NC. Went to Apple Tree and they told us to go to any authorized dent repair company. Went to Breakaway Honda Repair, Greenville, SC and they told us we need to contact Dent Pro Upstate which we did. Shane Jacks, owner, worked up a quote and in my presents called Capital. Capital would not authorize repair because the dent was on a body line. Talked to Apple Tree and they told me to bring the van to Apple Tree on Thursday when their dent repair company came and repair dents for them. We made another trip to Apple Tree and left the van at 9AM and called back about 3PM and was told the dent repair man did not come in this Thursday. We had just wasted 4-1/2 hours of time driving from Simpsonville, SC to Fletcher, NC. We went to Apple Tree to pick up our van and was told to bring the van back on a Tuesday and Ibis Sherren & Chris Lewis had pictures taken of the dent would have the dent repaired at their cost, would fill our gas tank for the inconvenience and give us a vehicle to use that day while the repair was completed.
We returned on Tuesday and were given a 2019 Odyssey to use while our dent was repaired. Returned to Apple Tree to pick up the van and were told by Cameron that Sales personnel could not authorize dent repair, but could authorize car loaner and gas. We were extremely disappointed and frustrated after all the trips from Simpsonville, SC to Apple Tree Honda in Fletcher, NC.
My wife said if you won't fix it, we want our money back from the policy. They said yes a prorated refund of $329.30. We took the refund and left never to come back to Apple Tree Honda. So SAD!
Awful service. Took my Honda in for an oil change. Could not get anyone to even acknowledge me. No other cars waiting. Talked to Service Manager he was just as clueless. I wished I had thought to take a picture of all service people totally ignoring me. Wow. No one seems to care. Most people I talked to afterwards said do not ever take your car there. They have bad service and seem not to care.
Jason Earley is the bomb at Apple Tree Honda Service. They have been very helpful, understanding, knowledgeable and honest. That is a winning combination when it comes to your mechanic. We have two Honda's, both from 2004 and they're running like dreams thanks to Apple Tree and Jason's fine care.
I'm a working artist and due to my conservative budget, I usually buy used cars from private parties or small lots. But I was curious about a 2017 certified pre-owned Honda Fit I'd seen listed at Apple Tree Honda, so I decided to stop by.
Having never worked with a big dealership before, I was pleasantly surprised by Apple Tree Honda's low-pressure, relaxed environment. I particularly enjoyed working with Angelo Rivera. During the test drive, he provided me with the information I needed about the car while also giving me plenty of time just to focus on the driving experience. Over the next few days, as I looked at a few other options, he also made himself available by text and phone and was quick to answer any questions I had. When I arrived at the dealership to compete the purchase, the car was all set to go, and I was in and out of the financing office within the hour.
From test drive to final paperwork, I enjoyed Apple Tree Honda's friendliness, transparency, and efficiency. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a certified pre-owned or reliable used car.
Evan Kline was a super friendly service advisor!! We did not have an appointment but they helped us get in and out in 30 minutes!! Clean and Comfortable Waiting Room!
I was in the market to lease a new car and was put in contact with Peter Estrada. He was very responsive with communications and very straightforward with what was possible for my requirements. When it came to signing the paperwork and finalizing the lease on my Honda Civic, Peter and the rest of the team at Honda made the process so simple and they were very accommodating to my needs. Even when Peter had to tend to other clients, I never felt like I was being overlooked or ignored. Overall a wonderful experience with Apple Tree Honda and they will definitely have my business in the future.
I went in for service on my 2016 Honda HRV. This maintenance included oil, transmission, brake, and fuel induction services. As well as I had a couple other issues that I explained that I was hearing a rattle coming from the front of the car when I hit bumps. Also the steering was sticking, and the steering wheel was not returning. And there was also loud sound coming from when you turned the wheel to the right or the left from center even sitting still in the car. All of which I knew something was seriously wrong and was not normal. I had recently had to have new struts put on my car that were not from Honda, they were from O'Reily's.
After waiting at least a couple hours or more without an update on the status of my car, I finally had to go and ask the service advisor what was going on. Come to find out the, the technician was only focused on the struts. It is my belief that they didn't get the job, and wanted to rip me off for 907$ to re-replace struts that were perfectly fine and were installed correctly by the garage that I had to have them done at while out of town when my grandmother was dying of cancer. I did not believe them for one second and made a few phone calls to find out that I was being mislead. After speaking with not 1, not 2, but 3 different ASE techs about my issues, they confirmed their were further problems.
I got back from work the following week, and stopped by another garage to have them take a drive and look at the car. After he drove the car and listened to the car and the issues described (something the dealership didn't even bother to do), he put it on the rack. And about 2 minutes later he was able to find out what the real issue was. And that issue was my inner tie-rod ends. The front wheels on the car had about an inch or more of play on either side. Any tech that knew what he was doing and actually paid attention to what I had described would have been able to discover the problem. This was causing my steering issues, noise/rattle, etc.
Not to mention the fact that the Apple Tree Technician should have never let my vehicle leave the service department, due to the seriousness of the tie-rod end issues. I had a work trip that I had to drive 10 hours round trip that following week after my vehicle was serviced. They not only put my vehicle at risk, THEY PUT MY LIFE AT RISK!!! This is completely unnacceptable, and they should not be allowed to be in operation if they are just going to non-chalantly put someone's life at risk on the road, just so they can make more money and take advantage of innocent people.
I could have died on the road not being able to control the steering had one of those tie-rod ends snapped or came loose. I will be filing an official complaint with Honda Corporate, as well as a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding this. I even called and left a message for the Apple Tree Honda Service Manager to call me back to discuss options, and how we are going to come to an acceptable resolution. Though I am not sure how you can come to an acceptable resolution when you played russian roulette with my life!!!
At the very least, Apple Tree owes me a complete refund for all of the maintenance, time, aggravation, and diagnostic fees paid for sitting around the dealership for almost 6 hours in total waiting on them to not even fix the serious issues. It's pitiful and a disgrace. I will never give my business to them in any way. I will additionally go out of my way to ensure that everyone I know, and everyone locally knows what kind of business they are and how they treat their customers.
Finally I would like to mention I also received a rude phone call from my service advisor after I filled out a negative survey based on my experience, and information that I found out after that I left. He had no right to tell me not to come back and ask for him, and the surveys are on them only. No, there are other questions in there that do not pertain to the service advisor. I will be speaking to his manager as well for that unacceptable behavior.
Evan is an amazing person. He went out of his way to assist me. He should get a raise. Haha. Really he should. He is a really good people person. He s the reason I would return.
I recently purchased a 2019 CRV-EX. I worked with Stephanie Dilts and was very impressed with her extensive product knowledge and customer service. She was pleasant, efficient and one of the best sales people I have ever worked with. Purchasing an automobile can be a long, arduous process but Stephanie kept it light while guiding me through. Her knowledge of all the components of my car was so helpful. What could have been information overload, she made interesting and easy to learn. Stephanie is now my go-to sales rep for all Honda products. I will definitely recommend her to all my family and friends. Thank you.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I do not recommend going here if you're a woman, unless you want to get ripped off and charged for unnecessary services. Both times I have taken my car here without my husband I have been charged for things that don't need to get done and then when they were questioned they refused to work with me about the problem. Be careful going here if you don't know much about car service because they will take full on advantage of you! Calling management got myself nowhere, they don't seem to see a problem with how they act. They are also not enforcing COVID 19 precautions and procedures. Opinions aside, they should be following the suggested protocols during this time. They provide inconsistent service and they are sexist. It stinks this is the only Honda place in the Asheville area. Be careful going here!
Had a wonderful experience with everyone involved in my car buying endeavors. Especially grateful towards Ibis who showed me nothing but kindness and made the whole process seamless. This staff truly works hard to take care of people.
Just wanted to say that Elizabeth Wiggins is a phenomenal sales person. She is very professional but at the same time friendly and makes the car buying process so easy. If you are looking for someone who knows their stuff and who will treat you like family, then you need to ask for her!!!
We trusted the dealer until they knew the terrible truth. We did all the service on the car to this dealer, we were shocked when we found out that the service did not change the oil filter from the factory, although every time we indicated that the dealer did it. We changed them two times, but as it turned out, they did not change, but they only changed the candle and took money from us as a coil. And it struck that in oil in our car there is water. How did she get there? They added her there so that we would have made them into the motor. Because we refused to do it last time. In general, we are shocked how people are fooling the dealer, he's like a bad doctor giving you a pill that you were dependent on him. Also, Honda dealer, monster your car and we trust them. My advice is to check them on conscience, check your service in another workshop. I think that it smells with a court .
Terrible customer service! They don't listen to you or hear your situation! My email was hacked and shortly after I then started receiving calls and emails from them. Dominic (one of the managers) insisted to tell me that did reach out to them. He began telling me that I did contact them after stating 3 times that I don't want to me bothered by them and I was not interested in a vehicle. He wouldn't hear me out to help or understand what happened to get the issue resolved. He only wanted to argue that I'm wrong insisting to be correct. Harassment and being rude is not a way to do business! This experience will not gain mine when I'm in the market again. A 1-star is too much credit for them!
The Service Dept. at Appletree Honda would be the main reason I would NOT buy another Honda. This is my 3rd attempt at service/recall work, all different issues, and have left every time saying I will never go back. Too much to type and too convoluted to explain. Done.
Scheduled a service appointment for 11am and arrived 15 minutes early. The service person informed us the 30,000 mile service would be nearly 3 hours. We took advantage of their shuttle service to shop and dine. We returned at 1:30 to find out they were behind and they had yet to do anything to the vehicle . I live an hour out of town, just wasted 2 hours driving and 2 1/2 waiting to get a vehicle serviced that never happened. I would have given them 0 stars except Ron with the shuttle service was very good.
My husband and I had a very disappointing experience. David was our salesman. It took 2+ hours to test drive one certified pre owned & to look at one new car. The monthly loan prices were ridiculously over inflated, (truly insulting, as if we did not know basic math). We tried hard not to be insulted, but all the delays and financing misinformation were just too much. We are long time Acura owners. We thought Apple Tree Honda would be a great place for us to purchase a vehicle. Unfortunately we were wrong. We plan to take our business to another Honda dealership.
I set up an Online appt to get both recalled airbags replaced, a detail, and some wipers. I made it Friday for the following Monday. I got a call to verify the parts were in stock. Ok, not bad. I was then told all the web appointments are inaccurate and it would take two weeks to make an appointment. This was after they were told it was only a recall. Also, I was advised to get my car detailed elsewhere because it's cheaper and they'll do a better job.
2 stars for being some combination of unscrupulous and incompetent but also only wasting 30 minutes of my time.
I don't remember the manager's name but typical; talk to me like I didn't know anything about cars. He was rude I got rude. I don't like the place, tried to tell je what I needed to have done on my car. I have a great mechanic he takes good care of me. If I were to buy another Honda, which I've owned 4 paid off, I wouldn't buy at this place.
I had called in advance and requested a specific price for a specific model and trim level. Sales person said "let me check with my manager" and texted me (I have the texts), "I have two I can sell you at that price", and sent me photos. One was orange and one was black.
I told the salesperson that I do not tolerate changing the price after I arrive, I indicated I am giving fair warning, that I'm not accusing them of being underhanded, but I've had this treatment at dealerships in the past and I walk if that happens. She indicated that she understood.
I arrived to test drive, we drove in a similar model but NOT either of the ones she'd indicated (which I find fishy now that I consider it). Test drive was adequate. I then asked to see the two cars she'd indicated. The orange one was a demo. This was NOT discussed by phone, and in fact, the "deal" was for new. The orange demo unit had been detailed. OK, I asked to see the black one. I preferred the look of the black one better and said "I'll take that one".
We went back to the showroom, she came back in a minute and said, "My manager said if you want the brand new one it's going to be $300 more". I said that is "underhanded" and I am thinking it is actually dishonest. She said well, "let me talk to my manager" and went in for a couple of minutes.
I realized I was literally the target of a bait and switch, instead of new, they wanted to sell me a demo. I let them know I was leaving. They called back and continued to push the demo (Why was this not the one we were test driving? Is there something wrong with it?) and did not apologize for the bait and switch. They tried to make it sound like it was a "miscommunication between the sales person and the manager" but it was not, they knew full well EXACTLY what I had requested and what they had offered - again, I have the texts to prove it.
At this point, even if they agreed to sell the new one for the price we'd agreed upon I will not do business with these people. In fact since this is the closest Honda dealer and since if I buy a Honda anywhere, this is probably where I'd have it serviced, I am not going to buy a Honda, which is way too bad.
It's too bad that a dishonest dealership has soured me on a wonderful vehicle option, but that's the bottom line. And for what? I know how dealerships work, and I know that $300 is like pocket change to them that the "invoice price" is meaningless because of kickbacks. If you look almost all dealers sell the cars for "invoice" or below. haha. Anyway. I recommend avoiding this dealer.
I bought my new CR-V from here from John. He was very help and patient with me and my family. The experience was great overall, except for the attitude and manners of the man in the financial office. The manager made sure that we were comfortable and happy while we waited for our car to be ready. Would reccomend, and ask for John!! Keep up the great work guys :)
We returned to Apple Tree looking to upgrade our 2018 CRV to a 2020 CRV Hybrid. The moment we arrived on the lot we met Peter Estrada and our buying experience began. Peter was AWESOME! He is so personable and responsive with an amazing sense of humor. Hands down, he made the entire buying experience so much fun for us! Do yourself a favor and ask for him by name. You will not regret it! Oh, and we LOVE our new Honda so much, too! We could not be happier with our decision and the service we received! Thanks, Peter! Go Mountaineers!!
Make sure you ask them to write down their saling point specifics. Example.. free car wash. Not like a autobell car wash and interior clean...just a exterior wash, nothing special. Also, service greeters are nice, but the sevice techs could use a checklist.
I recently purchased a pre-owned Honda. Gene, my salesman, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, efficient and very personable. The entire purchase process was awesome. This is my first Apple Tree experience and I feel sure it will not be my last!
Hands down this is the most professional dealership that I have dealt with in my search for a honda. Samuel King is a great representation and went the extra mile in making sure I was happy with my purchase. Thanks Apple Tree for making my experience a great one!!
Went in to look at CRVs and was actually dreading the sales experience- but I got Tony Atkins who was so knowledgeable about the car I needn t have worried. He made the whole buying experience a breeze- he was respectful and not pushy. Showed me my options and helped me to make the right decision on the car. If you want to have an honest and straightforward no hassle buying experience - ask for Tony -he s great .
i called for an appointment and got one a week later. 2 days later i thought i would take the car in for them to look at in case they needed to order parts. i pulled onto the sercice bay and when i explained they sais i needed an appointment for tem to look at the car. i said i had one but i was there for tem to look at in case they needed to order parts. they kept repeating, you need an appointment, "i have one", " we will look at the car then and order parts if needed." "we are traveling and are leaving the day of the appointment and dont want to delay because you wont look at it today and order parts if needed". i went to expertech and they fixed the problem in 30 minutes and only charged me for 1\2 hr. some people cannot deviate from fixed policy to accommodate special needs. in this case it saved me money but was very aggravating.
My father went to Apple Tree on Monday, October 14, 2009 with battery trouble. The CRV was under warranty but because the battery did not "throw a code" this was not going to be covered. He was unable to start the vehicle without jumper cables while at the dealership yet this was still not considered to be a "bad battery". He left, frustrated and drove home 40+ minutes in a car that would not start without being jumped. Not sure what kind of service this is for a senior citizen whose car was "under warranty" -- my family will NOT be buying another Honda. *Side note, I am writing this review on behalf of my dad who does not have a Google account and therefore can not complete a post.
Came by just to compare prices on a used car. Spoke with Elizabeth Wiggins who was extremely professional and courteous. Unlike a lot of other dealerships, I didn't feel like I was being pressured to buy anything. She just wanted me to have the correct info I needed.
Just leased a 2020 CR-V EX-L. I am very pleased with the service that I always receive at Apple Tree. My family has purchased many cars from here and the service is always top notch! We always work with Tony Atkins and have never been disappointed. Tony is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He is always straightforward and honest. Will definitely be going back to work with Tony when it s time for another Honda or Acura.
I was seen and questions were answered by service gentleman. Had questions about the manual that wasn't in the car when the last time I had the car it iwas in it.Unfortunately I bought the car from Auto Advantage. Had the car for four days before it had to be towed to the Ford dealership. The gentleman I asked made all the since. Why would they have my book when they had the computer to research things. Thank you for being so kind to me and addressed my concerns. Auto Advantage could learn something from ya'll. If Auto Advantage didn't have it I guess it just disappeared. Yea right. Thanks again Four Seasons
First time Honda buyer...Love it! Word to the wise - see Stephanie Dilts. she is very knowledgeable, set up electronics to our preferences and patiently explained them to us. She got the deal that we wanted and was so easy to deal with. Usually, I get a headache just approaching the dealerships as it is an ordeal. Not this time! Go to Appletree Honda!
I m a youngster lookin around, I didn t get nothing cuz I m broke but Blake Lewis showed me all the $10,000 and under cars (some good used stuff!)and deals I could get with what I had and He was a delight and gave me hope
If I could give them zero stars I would. My daughter bought a used CRV in December of 2019. Car was clean, ran well, and the salesman at Apple Tree gave us a detailed list of all the work and inspections that had been done on the car prior to purchase. Within a week of purchasing the car, we developed a transmission problem and were told part of the issue was old, varnished transmission fluid, something they claimed to have checked before selling the car. An $1800.00 repair followed, and I will give Apple Tree some credit here because they covered $1200.00 of the repair. A couple of months later we check the oil, and it is two quarts low and black in color, obviously it had not been changed when the car went through it's pre-sale check. After speaking with other people in the area who have had experience with Apple Tree, I find that my issues are not at all unusual. Before doing business with Apple Tree, I had bought and serviced five Hondas from Friendship Honda in Boone, and have had nothing but great experiences with them, and since the purchase of the CRV, I have driven to Boone and purchased from Friendship again. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to do business with any other Honda shop. This review is not written out of anger--these things all happened several weeks ago, so I'm not firing off a hot headed review. I can't recommend Apple Tree to anyone under any circumstances. Take your business elsewhere.
Wonderful service experience! Process was organized and ran smoothly and efficiently. Staff were excellent: professional, knowledgeable, helpful. Communication was great - kept me informed of status of my vehicle without intruding on my work. The car looked great and ran better than ever when they were done. Thank you, Apple Tree!
Took my car there several weeks ago due to a recall on the airbag inflator. Got there an hour before I needed to leave for work and was assured they would have me out in time. Unfortunately that didn't happen. I was told by a nice lady that the fella that was assisting me wasn't clear about what he needed from my car before I got out and then didn't follow through with the necessary paperwork which was part of the hold up. Then when I got the call telling me it was done, the same guy was short with me, especially after I asked if they could wash and vac my car for making me over half an hour late for work.
When I got my car, the vac job was def half-assed and the nice lady told me the fella that made me late and had a chip on his shoulder had been dealing with some physical pain lately. While I sympathize, that doesn't make it ok to give lousy service.
Worst part is after getting the car back, the airbag light comes on the dash. I call and tell them since the airbag inflator is what they replaced. They tell me that it couldn't possibly be something they did and if I brought it in to have them run a diagnostic check (something Advance Auto does for free), they would charge me around $80. AND I'd have to pay for whatever the repair would be myself. Even though it's obviously possible it was something one of their techs did.
I had work done there over 10 years and felt completely ripped off. Clearly, not a whole lot has changed. I'll stick with my regular mechanics. Great guys doing solid, honest work for fair wages. Appletree & the rest of Corporate America can kiss my A$$!
Even.though I havent bought a car from the yet, Gene and his manager are TOP notch!! Been to so many lots my heads spinning but Gene has gone the extra mile for me!!! Highly recommend Appletree Honda
We have taken our 2000 model CRV to Apple Tree since buying it used, 4 years ago. Regardless of our vehicles age or budget, the service staff has always treated us as if we own a brand new Honda. All of our major repairs have been completed at Apple Tree. We can't trust other shops to learn how to service our vehicle or attempt to get the right parts on our limited budget. We have heard far too many "horror stories" of the wrong parts or wrong procedures at other facilities. The service department is always upfront with what is needed and what it will cost. They always wash and vacuum our vehicle with every service. During our many visits, even just for oil changes, they are professional from start to finish. They also have extended hours after work on some days and Saturdays.
Dislike this place so much. Have went to South Carolina and Charolette to buy my Hondas. Only go here for oil changes. Their sales department is the reason we will never buy a car here.
Shout out to Tony Atkins for making this by far the best car buying experience I ve ever had. He patiently led me through the entire process, seeing to it that I got the exact vehicle with all the features I wanted. He has followed up with me several times to make sure things are going well with the new car & has proven there is indeed service after the sale. This could not have gone smoother. I would highly recommend Apple Tree and would encourage anyone to ask for Tony to handle their car buying needs. This is how car buying should be, and why you have repeat customers.
Horrible place --- please avoid at all cost! This is the most dishonest dealership I have ever visited. They lied about work needing done to a brand new civic - quoted $1200 for a repair they claim was not under warranty - they claimed the car had bad gas in it and they would need to flush and clean the fuel tank. All lies - we left and went to another dealership - Honda of Hickory - they said the issue was a bad sensor and it was definitely covered under warranty. These guys are crooks. Do not take your car here!! We complained to Honda and got no response --- so that was enough for me to never buy another Honda. There are plenty of good cars out there --- go buy a Toyota or a Subaru - or if you live near Hickory -- go there to buy your Honda.
Fastest I've ever purchased a pre-owned car! They are efficient at all the paperwork and we went from test drive to final signing in 2.5 hours. Ask for Jordan Turchi if you go. He's very knowledgeable and will help in any way he can.
Update: my family has now purchased a total of 4 vehicles from Apple Tree Honda & have worked with Stephanie for all of these purchases.
Loved the experience we had from the get go. Our sales associate Stephanie was the best, went above and beyond. Will defiantly recommend to anyone looking for new, used car and service.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Peter J. Estrada. He was extraordinary. He was attentive to our needs and worked hard for us. We recommend him for anyone who hasn t purchased a car since 2002. We found our dream HONDA Civic very suitable for an over 50 couple or anyone who seeks the best car for your needs in his inventory. I believe he memorized the entire list. Peter J Estrada is by far the best salesman we ever worked with.
We believe he goes the extra mile. He perceives your needs and fills them and doesn t waste your time. Once you work with him, and purchase you are his customer as long as you own the car!!! Thank you! We will only shop at Apple Tree Honda always.
