I bought a new Honda Fit on September 25. They charged me for an add-on that was supposedly on the car. I pointed that the item was not there to my salesperson within days. Almost two weeks later I am waiting for a refund and have been told it could be possibly a week more. So they charge for a nonexistent item and require me to keep after them for a refund for that falsely listed item. I wonder if they would be so cavalier about someone not properly paying them.

My sister just purchased a 2004 Honda Accord that I found online from this dealership. We dealt with Tim Willis. Test driving the car. We tried to turn the Stereo on, but nothing happened. When we pulled into a shaded area. Then we noticed the display was asking for a code. When we returned to the dealership. I mentioned this to Tim. He finds the owner manual and the code is written inside. He goes out to the car to enter the code. He returns minutes later; asking were is it wanting a code. I follow him back out to the car. I place my hand over the display and now he can also see the display asking for a code. He enters it and the stereo starts to play. He says this is ridiculous!!! I believe there was an issue with the backlighting on this year. We will get this fix. Apple Tree/Honda takes care of their customers. He takes the car to the service department and comes back. He says lets do the the paper work. We take him at his word and my sister signs the papers for the car. I gave her a thousand dollars toward this car. The rest she takes a loan out at my Credit Union for which was $8,200. We don't know what was said back in the service department, but he says I will call you tomorrow about the backlighting on the display. Come to find out Honda had an issue with the 2002-2005 Accord EX and LX for the PCB and extended the warranty for this. The car has already exceed the warranty due to the age. He calls my sister the next day not to have her bring the car in for the repair, But to Say a big "SORRY" you purchased this car as is and that is what it means!!! My question to him was do you not do an inspection on the cars that are traded in and according to the Car Fax. This car was serviced a lot at this dealership even though the owners live in Fla. His answer was yes, but we were not aware of this issue, Really!! I think they were, if they did an inspection on the car. People need to think seriously about buying a car from a dealership that doesn't have any principals or is so dishonest. They would treat their customers this way just to make a sale. If they were a good dealership and cared about their customers. They would have fixed this issue before they even sold the car to my sister; especially since we made them aware of the issue. Before buying the car.

I took my vehicle in for servicing seven days ago. I thought it was a pleasant experience. Since then I've received three emails. The first email was to rate the service experience which was great. The last two emails warn of "important additional service" that was recommended. "Call to schedule." I am surprised that within seven days they want my vehicle back. Dishonest I think!

Stephanie Dilts was my first contact at Apple Tree Honda as I had decided to trade for a 2018 CRV Touring and was so helpful through the whole process but never pressure. She helped instruct me in all that was new to me and introduced me to the service side of the dealership. She has made herself avail to me at all times including additional education in the operation of the vehicle. When I say this is the ABSOLUTE worst place I have ever been to, I would be giving this a praise. The worst service, the worst time management and the worst experience I have ever had. I have lived in 4 states and had wonderful Honda experiences. I will never go back, I should have read the reviews before going. Save yourself the time and energy and just don't go. After I told my coworkers about dropping off my car here, they immediately told me "oh no. I'm so sorry." Well if that doesn't say something, I don't know what. Not to mention the guy who we worked with essentially called me a liar stating I never made an appointment. I'm not sure if he is aware of this... But there is such a thing as a paper trail. I have the email that shows when I made the appointment three days prior..... this experience was the WORST. The only good part was getting to talk with Ron, the shuttle driver. He is a great guy and the only saving grace to this story.

This place is one of the few dealerships that understand what it takes to create a wonderful buying experience and how to keep the customers coming back . I just recently purchased a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. As much as I love my car , it's not the car that sold me on this place. I had a quality salesman in David as he took time to actually get to know me as a person . He never pressured me into anything I didn't want and always listened to what I had to say . It's once I bought the car though that will have me coming back. I traded in a Jeep that I just wasn't in love with and the dealership worked with me to get me the best price for it , without the hassle of going back and fourth on prices. My finanical advisor truly had my best interest at heart and it was a pleasure working with Kelby Locke. He got me an incredable interest rate , affordable payments, and a stress free experience. He doesn't give off that pressuring dealership feel. Kelby is someone that I would recommend anyone too and I truly look forward to working with him in the future for my families auto needs. Out of town and work a lot, both challenging during Covid, and found used car online at this place that looked perfect. Called, asked if they could bring car to us, about 15 minutes away, they said no, not if we had a trade, because their 'sales manager' needed to see the trade. Fair enough. Took the only few hours spare time I had for the rest of the week to go bring trade in and look at the used car they were selling. Knowing I'd get hosed on trading, lowest book value was ~$12k, figured they'd offer at least $9k - we'd gotten two other offers for that much. Nope, they low balled trade at $5k because their 'sales manager' wasn't even there that day!! I even told them this was their one chance, we got other offers for nearly twice as much, and they called back a few days later saying maybe they could do better. No thanks. If they're going to mislead and be dishonest about the smallest things, why would anyone trust them with something as big as buying a $20k+ car?? Don't waste your time at this place... they've got apples all right... and not the good kind. Good luck. (The sales guy was friendly, and he did get me in and out quickly... only reason they get two stars... the sales guy himself would get a five.)

Ian, Service Advisor is good and actually lives by the word ~ 'service'. Being that this is the 5th Honda I've bought I will NEVER BUY FROM APPLE TREE again. We had the car in four times (3 with Appletree, 1 in Greenville) and the new Civic still didn't have A/C going into the 3rd year! Of course, a few miles over 36K, Appletree would not work with us at all with this pre-existing condition that each technician missed with a 'duh, nothin' thar at all!!!! So much for Honda's law. They also didn't stand by the botched alignment and expected us to cover the cost. Luckily, the car is now in Seattle, and under the integrity of their Manager, who easily found the problem and fixed it! I am glad that Adam Yamoto stepped up, patiently and honorably, without financial benefit, to ensure my 24-year old Masters Graduate FINALLY drives a working and safe vehicle. Apple Tree dishonestly ripped us off. The contrast between the two dealers speaks for itself! Actually, I'm now considering selling the other Honda so I don't have to EVER service it with AppleTree!!!

Terrible customer service. I scheduled a 1:00 PM appointment and when I arrived, I was told it was a drop off appointment, which was not explained when the slot was made. I decided to wait anyway, since I lived 35 miles away, after being told they would eventually get to the car between 3:00 and 5:00. (Why they needed my car at 1:00 is still a mystery to me.) After waiting and waiting, I decided to check on the progress at 5:15 only to be told they had not gotten to it yet. The staff seemed to be disinterested with my dissatisfaction after complaining. Disgusted, I left without anything being done and re-scheduled with Morganton Honda, which gave me impeccable service.

I recently brought my Honda CRV into Apple Tree Honda to be fixed. Evan took care of us, which turned out to be a nightmare... I ended up calling him every 2 hours to check on the status of my car. After 8 hours waiting I was told that the part would be delivered the next day and the next day the part could not be found. I walked into the dealership the next day and Evan did not even look at me even though he knew who I was and why I was there, It was Lance that came up to me to see if he could help. And he did...I asked for the manager who's name was Jason, from there the experience went from bad to good. Jason sat and talked with me and explained the situation, I had to wait another day for the part, in the meantime I considered buying a car and thats when the best part happened in this otherwise nightmare of an experience. I was then introduced to Stephanie Dilts. She not only was a positive, light in an otherwise horrible experience, she thought outside the box and really solved what was a situation that would make anyone lose it. I want to thank Apple tree Honda for having such an outstanding employee. Stephanie was a life saver. Anyone looking to buy a car should ask for Stephanie Dilts. I walked out a satisfied customer.

We bought a new 2016 Honda Civic up in Michigan and drove to NC and while driving our check engine light came on. We took it here and pulled into their service department and a man came up to our window and after hearing that we didn't buy our Honda from their specific dealership he stated "well our first priority is people that make appointments and we are busy. You can stop in Monday (memorial day) at 7am if you really want it checked out". However there was nobody in line at the service department and 5 Or so employees were just sitting around. We bought our civic like a week ago and anything wrong with it is obviously a warranty issue which is supposed to be covered at any Honda dealership nationwide. After reading some of the reviews online it looks like a good thing we aren't doing business with them...

I know he may be kidding but it sounded somewhat genuine. I know it's winter but we spend time in Florida I said.....which I shouldn't have to explain myself. I was very disappointed in the terrible service I received from this Honda! They did not test drive my car after replacing a tire and wheel bearing! They damaged my wheel and a backing plate when replacing the wheel bearing and the car was making an awful noise and the steering wheel was way off center when I left. I was scared when driving the car back to Florida! They don t even have the decency to contact me back after being contacted by my local Honda dealer that ended up having to fix all of their shoddy repair work!

Last week I was hit by a truck, which totaled my 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid. It had 199,993 miles and was good for another 100,000. I loved that car but really needed another car quickly. Yesterday morning I woke up at 4:30 am and started to look at used cars on the web. I have had good luck previously finding my perfect car that way. I stumbled on Apple Tree Honda and there was a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid with only 94,000 miles. I couldn't believe the Carfax: the owner had never missed a service, had new brakes, tires rotated, fluids changed, etc. That person did more to their Honda in any two years out of the ten that they owned it, than I did to mine in 11. So I called the internet person, Bill, and he set me up with salesman Jordan, and today I drove home a used car that looks and drives like new. Plus they did an oil change with synthetic oil and put on new wipers. And I got a great deal, with no pressure. I can't recommend Bill and Jordan or Apple Tree enough.

I brought a car in for exactly one purpose - to get an additional key cut and programmed. When they were done, the new key didn't work.

True, when I went back inside and pointed this out, they apologized and fixed it promptly - but it doesn't leave a good feeling when they don't test the one thing I came in for, before declaring it done. What if it was a more serious repair, and one where I couldn't readily verify they had fixed it properly ? The showroom is bright and shiny, the people were all very polite and professional - but I'd rather have more confidence in the people back in the shop.

When I arrived here the service man told me it would take less than an hour to change a light bulb and change my windshield wipers. It took almost 2 hours and when I went to check on my car the man told me he was trying to find a light bulb and he has to take one from another car. He was also not very friendly. This is the first time I've been to this Honda place and I am not pleased at all.

I am AMAZED and OVER-JOYED!!! I went to Apple Tre...

I am AMAZED and OVER-JOYED!!! I went to Apple Tree Honda with terrible credit (a repo a little over a year ago and no re-established credit), wondering how in the world I would ever be able to buy another car. All I can say is that the folks at Apple Tree Honda were MIRACLE WORKERS!!! I am now driving a brand-new Honda Accord!!! I purchased it on my own, with a down-payment and monthly payments that were incredible and totally within my budget. Troy and Joshua, my salesmen were wonderful! They helped me negotiate a great price, and they got me an incredible trade-in amount for my 14-year-old car. Then after several days when every bank refused to give me a loan under any condition, Toby, the finance manager did the impossible and was somehow able to secure a loan for me through Honda Finance.
And when my insurance company quoted me a ridiculous rate for my new Accord, Joshua called his insurance company and secured full coverage for me for only $18 more per month than the liability-only coverage I was carrying (and the deducible stayed the same)!

To say that the staff went the extra mile is a gross under-statement. They went far and beyond anything that I have ever experienced. Troy and Joshua were fantastic. Never at any time was I made to feel less-than because my credit was in such bad shape. They were patient and kind, genuine and exuded great integrity. And they had such a great attitude!

But the best part is, I am now driving a beautiful new Honda Accord, which looks and drives like a luxury car - IT DRIVES LIKE A DREAM!!! and I can reestablish my credit. No more worrying about my car breaking down. No more sinking all my money into an old car. I love driving again! I am still AMAZED and OVER-JOYED. It really is a miracle! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My husband and I were interested in buying a car. I did notice when we were looking outside and walked inside, we were not greeted by anyone. (Every place we looked before we were always greeted). Someone from the finance department came out and went to get someone to help. Whatever, I can live with not being greeted. Our salesperson, Robert Squire was super helpful. He didn't talk down to us or try and force us to buy something. I appreciated the way he spoke to me as a female, and also to my husband. Many places think women aren't capable of car talk, but he still spoke kindly to me and went into more detail with my husband. I'd give him 5 stars. I am hesitant after reading reviews about the service department so when I reach that point I will definitely update.

If you are looking to buy a vehicle, ask for Peter Estrada. He is very professional and there was never any pressure. I've been to a quite of few car dealerships in my lifetime and I've never had a better experience throughout the whole process of buying a vehicle.

My wife and I took our 2015 Honda Fit to Apple Tre...

My wife and I took our 2015 Honda Fit to Apple Tree Honda on 8/19 for planned service on 8/20. The car makes a clattering noise on a cold startup only, so we wanted it to sit overnight before the service technician evaluated the car. The sound was identified by the technician and then we were told the sound was occurring because the engine was low in oil. By the time they called, they added oil and stated they no longer heard the sound. They told us the car was ready for pick up. I asked them to keep the car overnight, since the sound only occurs on a cold start. The service advisor, Joseph Pachacos, called the next morning and indicated he had heard the sound but it would not be covered under warranty because the oil was low. I asked him why this was not documented in the paperwork and he indicated he didn t update the paperwork after hearing the sound again.

We specifically asked for them to check the VTC actuator as this is a well known problem that only occurs on a cold startup. They never checked the VTC actuator and charged over $100 for adding oil.

According to Apple Tree, the car holds 3.7 quarts of oil and the car needed 3 quarts of oil. At no point did the low oil pressure indicator light come on. When we picked up the car, I checked the oil dipstick. There was oil spilled around the engine and the oil had been filled much higher than the upper mark on the oil dipstick. As the manual states, If any oil spills, wipe it up immediately. Spilled oil may damage the engine compartment components. Do not fill the engine oil about the upper mark. Overfilling the engine oil can result in leaks and engine damage. I spoke with Richard Spring, the shop foreman at Apple Tree, who told me, I always put an extra quart of oil in my truck.

I called Apple Tree service on multiple occasions and was told the problem was caused by low oil. I explained I have a genuine concern that premise is not corrent (i.e. no oil pressure indicator light and it actually needing much less oil than 3 quarts), but I was told the district parts service manager had been consulted about this and this was their final determination. I asked for his contact information and was told I could not contact him.

I called Apple customer service and spoke with Clarissa, who told me she has to believe whatever the dealership tells her and, since they are a private dealership, she cannot change their mind. I called James King, the service manager at Apple Tree Honda. A woman, Terry, took my call and advised me Mr. King would call me to discuss. He did not.

In addition to charging over $100 for oil it did not need and spilling oil over the engine compartment, it has now become clear they didn t attach the under cover correctly after taking it off. Half the bolts and clips from the under cover are no longer attached and there is a loud flapping noise when driving the car. I have concern too much oil has or will damage the engine.

All in all, the car is worse off than when we took it there. That is not the type of service I would suggest to anyone. We currently own two Hondas from Apple Tree Honda and 3 other family members also own cars from them. One is currently in the market for a new Honda, but with this type of situation, I cannot suggest he put his trust back in Apple Tree.

I ask that Apple Tree refund the amount charged to me and re-evaluate the car properly. They need to drain the overfilled oil, clean up the engine, and reattach the under cover properly. The respectable and correct action for Apple Tree Honda would be to do this. We ll see.

DO NOT SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. My vehicle stalled after getting the vehicle an oil change at this facility; luckily no one was hurt. The engine light and oil change light came on. Had to bring the vehicle back and was not offered reimbursement. There was no solution offered. I was told that this issue was a coincidence, which is laughable. Danny Hudson, the manager, is rude and condescending and has no business managing any business. Would highly recommend taking your vehicle anywhere else to get serviced so that you will not have to deal with Danny or any of his incompetent service team members.

I was there for a recall repair, and could not have had better service. I even got a loaner car, which I was not expecting. The waiting area is lovely, and very spread out if you do need to wait there. Best service I've ever had at a dealership!

Finally made the drive to replace the shrapnel air...

Finally made the drive to replace the shrapnel airbags, and was told my vehicle needed repairs, including a brake fluid flush, which had never been brought up by the locations that usually service my vehicle . Employees were nice enough but recalls should not be used as a sales opportunity.

The service at this place is horrible and it seems to start at the top with James King and trickle it's way down. Unless you enjoy wasting your time and money, look elsewhere. If you do decide to roll the dice, be sure to take the whole day off work to deal with these guys and don't be surprised when they still screw up the job. I can't believe American Honda let's them use their name.... just look at all these pissed off people and horrible reviews, unbelievable.
