If you don't know anything about vehicles you may like this place, otherwise stay away. I took my Honda van in for a recall. They pointed out multiple maintenance issues that the van needed including a power steering flush and new battery. I asked them if they were sure and the service guy says oh yes it can be a safety issue. I then tell him that 4 days prior I changed the power steering fluid. He had nothing to say. Then I took my vehicle to a trustworthy mech and they checked the battery and said it was fine and they hear the same thing about Apple Tree every week. I tried to get some parts I needed on another occasion and was told the price. I looked online and Honda dealerships are selling the same parts for HALF price. They won't match the price. I paid $10 shipping for small parts and still saved plenty of money. These guys are a joke and know they have the lock on Honda in the area and use it to their advantage and your disadvantage. Go somewhere else.

I already send a review in, but wanted to make sure everyone knew what a professional, courteous and fair service department Apple Tree has. I was greeted immediately , given all the information including the cost upfront and left with a car that was serviced and cleaned. Our other car is a Ford, we did not receive this kind of service, I hope Apple Tree can service our Ford in the future! thank you

Had to get a new key made. Told us it would be $160 over the phone and it was $214 when I got there. When I pulled up and saw my car, I told the man who was detailing it that I was there to pick it up. He was rude to me and told me that I couldn't pick it up without my paperwork instead of saying, " Hey, have you checked in with your service advisor yet? Let me show you how."

Appalling service and a total lack of ethics of humanity. You recently sold my elderly and infirm parents a vehicle that just doesn't work. Since then you have completely ignored them and refused to compensate , repair or replace. Shame on you.

I purchased a used car mar 2015. I like deal that I got. I was shown a carfax that was clean, no accidents. I purchased the car based on those facts. I went to trade the the car in and found out that the car had a major accident before I purchased it, where the air bag deployed. This drops the price of my car significantly. I really dont like being lied to and sold a bill of goods.

If you are looking for a new Honda or Acura just get your best price from other dealers then go to Apple Tree (I used the internet)...Our salesman was Gary Osterude and he completed everything and even helped with the extra's. I knew what I wanted and had to stand firm on my budget and Apple Tree understood this. I have not had to deal with the service department so I will post a review when I do. I gave a 5 star but really how do you give a 5 star ....I have never "loved" purchasing a car but the over all experience was pretty smooth.

The best buying experience we have ever had (and we've bought a lot of cars in our lives!). My wife and I visited Apple Tree to check out a Fit. Tom Nail was very helpful in showing us what they had. Even though they did not have anything on the lot that met our needs (manual transmission), he was still happy to help out. After trying out the Fit and deciding it was not going to be what we wanted, Tom helped us look at and consider options. And again, he wasn't pushy for us to buy something from their inventory, more interested in ensuring we got what we wanted. In the end, we bought a civic from their lot and we love it. Tom was great thru the negotiating process AND also took the time to help do research on other needs we'd have for the car (setting up for towing, adding bike racks, etc.).
Apparently Tom is new to Apple Tree Honda but we sure are glad he was there for us! Thanks Tom and Apple Tree!

Preowned Apple Tree Honda sold our family a used 2011 Honda Odyssey with a broken tail light. It's taken many phone calls(on my part) and 4 weeks to fix. Unacceptable. Unfortunately, there is no customer service once the car is sold. Gene was the salesman. Both Grant and Blake both said they would take care of the situation @ 3 weeks out. No one did. I called again at 4 weeks. I was told someone would call me btw 1pm-3pm. No one did. I had to call back again. Too many people dropped the ball. From the initial inspection when the tail light was not found/seen to ordering the part to call backs/follow up. Unpleasant and disappointing to say the least. Over a hour to have the repair. No car wash. No vacuum. No customer service on their part for their mistakes time after time.

Usually the words "high integrity" and "used car salesman" are not synonymous. But in the case of Tim Willis at Apple Tree Honda Pre-owned, they are! I felt so at ease buying this car - an experience I have never had before. (Tim was recommended to my by several friends who have bought from him.) When I asked about a more expensive car than the one I was looking at, he even reminded me that my aim was to get better gas mileage, and that the less expensive car got better gas mileage? Who does that?!? Tim Willis does, that's who.

I ended up getting a Honda Certified pre-owned 2012 Honda Civic. It is a great car, and since it is certified, it had an extensive pre-sale inspection AND comes with a wonderful warranty. Definitely go to Tim Willis at Apple Tree Honda Pre-owned if you need a car, and want someone trustworthy.

My wife took her car in because the check engine light was on. Turns out the gas cap wasn't screwed in all the way. They charged her $120 to pull an OBD code and tighten the gas cap...heck of a way to run a business and treat your customers. They may have made a quick buck, but they just lost customer. Jerks.

Apple Tree did a great job. We had a good idea of what we wanted, they responded well and didn't try to upsell us on something we didn't need. Worked with us on the financing, even though we weren't going to be using dealer financing. And they extremely helpful on trade-in, which happened to be a dead car an hour's drive away. Absolutely recommend, A+ service.

We recently purchased a new CR V from Apple Tree and it was one of the easiest purchases we have ever made. Our salesman Devin Barrett was very knowledgeable and helpful but not pushy. He answered all our questions and on the test drive did a great job of explaining all the bells and whistles. The financing people were easy to work with - we had done some research and they worked w/ us to come to a price that was agreeable. So the first part of our journey w/ Apple Tree has been very positive!

Service department were lying sacks of xhjkl who take advantage of women. My wife took her Honda Accord in for an oil change and I picked her up so she wouldn't have to wait. She told me that the technician who wrote up the paperwork had told her she also needed two additives in addition to the synthetic oil. As an engineer and ex-Honda motorcycle mechanic, I knew this was BS so I went to pick up her car. I asked to see the service manager and then asked him why my wife was told her car needed two oil additives. The manager told me the additives were recommended by Honda. When I asked to see the Honda service flyer with the recommendation, he backtracked and said it had been a "verbal" recommendation. I said he was a liar and that Apple Tree probably only tried this scam on women and older people. I then contacted Honda USA and they confirmed that there is no Honda directive to use additives; oil is all that is required. Since then we have taken our two Hondas to Asheville Honda and Acura Service; would never go to Apple Tree again even for warranty work. Breakaway Honda in Greenville is a much better dealer for service.

I've driven Honda's my whole life and have always had my cars serviced at the dealership. I will NEVER have my car serviced at Apple Tree again, nor will I EVER purchase vehicles from them! I took my car in for an oil change and break check. I was told my breaks needed replaced and was quoted $568! When I expressed concern about the cost, the service person never tried to help find an alternative solution or offer any suggestions to help me save money. I felt like I was taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge on the matter. I was out of pocket nearly $600. If you live in the Asheville area, there are much better places to have your vehicles serviced that won't rip you off!!!

This place is terrible. I came here looking for a Honda Pilot and they told me to keep the car and price I had to put 500 $ down they would be refunded if I did not buy the car for any reason I did not buy the car and they will not give me the money back. All I get is the runaround.

Everyone there was awesome! They were able to change out a part that was recalled and were able to get the state inspection done for me as well. I asked if they could plug a whole in my tire at the last second and they were more than glad to get it done. I'm glad to have gone there and will look forward to going back if any other issues arise.

We were traveling from Mount Airy North Carolina to Greenville South Carolina. We were just entering Hwy. I-40 when we ran over a large amount of some sort of wood lying in the road, We didn't think much about it as we thought it wasn't much to worry about. Traveling along and getting closer to Asheville NC I got a T.P.M.S light, which meant that there was probably a nail in a tire, or two! I stopped in Asheville and checked the tires and sure enough I had a slack tire so I over filled the tire and hoped I could get to Apple Tree Honda which wasn't too far from the VA exit on I-40, before the tire went down again. We arrived at the service department at 4:15 pm. I was hoping that we would be able to have the tire seen about since it was getting close to closing. Well the reason for this long story is to thank the entire Service Department at Apple Tree Honda and especially Brenda, sorry I cannot remember her last name, for her professionalism and helping us get our Honda fixed, inspected for other damage, and us safely back on the road to our home, all in about an hour!.
KUDOS to Apple Tree Honda Service Department, Thanks for taking care of us as quickly as you did in an emergency.

Purchasing my vehicle was not a bad experience, the sales person was nice and his knowledge base good. Since then... all down hill. We paid a fortune for an extra warranty that has covered nothing. I have spent thousands on "required maintenance" and essential repairs. "If you don;t do all of these things, your warranty will be void". Well what good is a warranty that covers nothing! I bought a brand new vehicle in 2017 and the tires already have the metal showing through. The response: Well North Carolina has terrible roads"... if you want to come in we can sell you some new tires. The new mechanic I finally took it to says it does not look like there has been any recent alignment - which I paid for, and the filters I had him replace were black and says they do not look like they have been changed at all. (Which I paid for) With routine oil changes... they have never topped any of the other fluids. Overall a bad experience and not even pleasant attitudes to mask it
