I dropped my Civic off at 9am for work that was covered under warranty. They finished with it at 4:30pm. They seem to have done a good job. I would recommend having someone pick you up or some way to get away from the dealership because from what I've seen they are a bit slow. But they are friendly and, as far as I know, they do a good job.

I was driving through Asheville and my car broke down on the road. It ended up that the guys (at another facility) who had last changed my oil had not screwed the cap on, leading to the car breaking down. The guys here diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and didn't charge me for the simple fix. I was very grateful that I lucked upon this group.
I test drove a 2019 Honda Insight there. After I was done, I told the salesman Robert, that I would get back to him in a week or two. He then proceeded to call and email me every day for the next five days telling me that he had the car I wanted, in the color I wanted, on the lot and to come by any time. I dropped by at the end of the week to look at the car. They then wasted 30 minutes of my time trying to find the car. Apparently, they re terrible at tracking their inventory.
When they couldn t he tried to pawn off another car on me that I didn t want. I politely explained that I only wanted one car, and, since they couldn t find it, not to call me again. Naturally, he emailed me again the very next day trying again to sell me the car I didn t want. I emailed him explaining that they wasted my time, and don t have the car I want, so I am taking my business elsewhere. The very next day they had yet another salesperson text, email, and call me trying to sell me the car I didn t want. I took the call just to make it clear to this woman that I wasn t interested, and explained to her exactly why.
NEVER give these people ANY of your contact information as they will call and email you constantly, even when you tell them to stop multiple times.
Great experience! They fixed my car without trying to throw random expenses at me. Quality care that I can't find anywhere else. Ian was very informative. Thank you for taking care of my vehicle and being honest. I will be back!
After selecting a car agreeing to a cost we went into the finance office and the finance guy tried to add $3000 more to the selling price. Afterwards when decided against additional warranties he became angry and jumped up out his chair ready to fight. After calming down he brag that he knew karate and had to show a couple of customers what he could do. The salespeople at the dealership makes you feel uncomfortable overall. I would highly recommend not going to the Acura side of Apple tree
I highly recommend calling Dan Corcoran at Apple Tree Honda for your next Honda purchase.
He was extremely helpful in all aspects of the purchase and trade-in process, and found me the exact Honda Pilot that I was looking for.
The service department at Apple Tree is always on the ball, and I ve appreciated their free loaner vehicles.
Thorough communication, prompt handling of any issues, and a no-pressure vibe... those are the things that will have me coming back to Apple Tree Honda again and again.
Very slow for service and very expensive. Nisiquera they give you some discount on the pieces and they leave you there for the day I was more than 4 and a half hours sitting in the waiting room so then they would come to say that they can't fix my bus that day, what to order the pieces and they charged one Big amount of money.

We had a great buying experience at Apple Tree Honda. Elizabeth was our salesperson. She was very professional and easy to communicate with during the process. We are enjoying our new car! Thank you, Elizabeth!
The service we received was quite exceptional and I would not hesitate recommending you all to anyone who is considering buying a vehicle. Dave Talburt was helpful and knowledgeable at every step of the process. The team was prompt in their communication and have demonstrated that they are trustworthy and reliable.
We are confident that we made the best choice in buying from Appletree. They will always be our first consideration when buying a vehicle.
Very disappointed in my last experience. I asked them to quote having the timing belt replaced. They gave me a quote that was better than I was expecting. My husband saw it and also thought it seemed too good. He asked me to call back and make sure that it included replacing the water pump. The woman I talked to on the phone said "yes of course it would include the water pump, they change those out at the same time". However, she said this without knowing what they quoted me. Turns out that they didn't quote me correctly after all and to change the pump and tensioner as well was an extra $400. They wouldn't budge on the mistake and the only reason I took it to them in the first place is because they gave me a better quote. Won't make that mistake again.
Outstanding customer service from the salesperson, Elizabeth Wiggins. She is very knowledgeable, detailed and friendly. She will help you find the best car for your individual needs.
After checking my Honda's VIN number which showed no recalls for the Crosstours, I still decided to contact Apple Tree to check further. Rhonda answered the phone and I explained the purpose of the call, she was less than friendly. Her attitude was somewhat defensive. She marginalized the problem and she gave me the feeling that I was wasting her time, though the call took less than 1 minute.
SO RUDE. Terry, who handles the rentals, extremely rude. I'd rather pay a little more for a rental than give them my money.
Funny, I was just telling a friend how unprofessional the salesman was to me there 2 years ago, and didn't seem to want to help sell me a USED Honda Pilot. So I went to Hunter Subaru in Hendersonville and bought the Jeep I still have, and love. When someone just told me they do rentals, against my better judgement, I thought I'd give them a second shot, nope. Terry single handedly ruined it and lost them some money. Appletree sucks (period)
I recently purchased a vehicle for my son from Apple Tree Honda and had such an amazing experience. Scott Benson and the store manager were a pleasure to work with and bent over backwards to get the perfect car for my son at a price we could afford. We had a much better experience here compared to other nearby car dealerships. I will definitely be back here when I m in the market for another s car! Thanks, Scott!
I was amazed with my buying experience here with Stephanie. She made my first dealership car buying experience excellent! Unfortunately I was back within a few weeks as the car I just bought was rear-ended and totaled. Stephanie was there once again to help me get an even nicer, newer car, with the same monthly payment. Awesome experience. Professional and exceptionally friendly. Great coffee too.
I purchased our Acura TL in 2012 and have been dealing with Apple Tree since then. Mark Chapman in the Service Department has been great, professional and easy to work with when dealing with services. Recently Mark went out of his way to provide us a great service when we had an issue with the original paint job. Acura made it right and we are forever grateful. Thank you Mark for your help.
Jeff Smith was kind enough to stay way past his time off to make sure we got in the Pilot we needed. A salesman that actually cares. Thank you to Trey in finance for hooking us up and getting out the door with the car we wanted at the payment we needed
I recently bought a new CRV and I m loving it! Elizabeth was so helpful and patient even when we bombarded her with questions and scenarios. I definitely felt like she had my best interest at heart. I highly recommend Appletree and ask for Elizabeth Wiggins!
My problem with Apple Tree is that I am not rich enough for their customer preference. Take your Honda to Firestone for repairs. But watch for special sales. The sales people are great....money, money, money
They were incredibly rude. No-one wanted to help me. When someone finally did, he didn't want to tell me the price, assuming that I couldn't afford the used car I inquired about. I felt like they definitely profiled me. I left there and went to Jim Barkley where I bought a brand new car and got amazing customer service. Avoid this place. Especially the used car side!
We were sold a service plan for a new vehicle we never needed. Watch out for any use of coupons or policies, Apple Tree is VERY RIGID and will not provide any flexibility.
Can't say enough good things about my experience buying my CRV at Apple Tree yesterday. Corey Brookhouzen was my first point of contact at the Certified Pre-Owned lot. I wasn't even completely sure I was looking to buy, and Corey never wasted his time or mine with hard sell nonsense. He showed me vehicles that matched what I was looking for, and when I decided it was time to treat myself to an upgrade, he made the whole process easy and congenial. Absolutely my best experience at a dealership so far.
If you're considering a used Honda or Acura, I would absolutely recommend you get over to Apple Tree and talk to Corey. He'll treat you right.
Also want to shout out Mark that handled my final loan documents and stuff. Super good guy and made everything as clear and simple as could be.
Likewise, James in the service department is a great guy to deal with if you need work done or questions answered.
Overall, highly recommend Apple Tree Honda. Thanks all!
Very attentive, knowledgeable, efficient, professional and courteous staff. Well priced servicing. Also get follow up emails from service manager and also from Honda Motors.
Drove from Charlotte to look at a pre-owned vehicle. Drake Hinton was my salesperson. He had the car ready to test drive when we got there, the customer service was spectacular! The finance department took care of everything very swiftly! Fantastic service!
My partner and I had a vehicle serviced here to address a few manufacturer recalls, one of which involved our malfunctioning low-beam headlights.
First, the lady on the phone had a terrible attitude while she set up our appointment. Her tone of voice and the amount of time she let me wait on the phone indicated to me that she probably hates her job.
We had to make personal arrangements for transportation because they don't offer loaner vehicles, so we made sure to give the service department plenty of time (as in "all day") to work on our car.
Not surprisingly, when we retrieved the vehicle the headlights didn't work and they gave us a long list of trumped up "problems" they found, for which they quoted absolutely outrageous prices to have fixed. That's when they started in with the pressure to trade it in for a new vehicle.
They said absolutely NOTHING about the still-non-functioning headlights when the vehicle was picked up from the service department.
Instead, when I called the service department to let them know the problem wasn't fixed, I was told that they were "99.9% sure" that the headlight problem was caused by a burned bulb, and that we should make ANOTHER appointment to have them replace the bulbs; at our cost (of course).
Instead of wasting another day taking it to them for it to sit there without being fixed again, I opted to replace the bulbs myself, which did not fix the issue.
When I called back to explain the issue (again), they told me that they had performed the recall work and that all it covered was the wiring harness and not the switch (which was obviously the problem).
I informed them that I had read the official Honda press release regarding this recall, and that the switch was in fact covered by the recall and was often the cause of the issue.
When I finally got it back to them (after dealing with their nasty receptionist again), the service tech met me at the dock and paid me back for the bulbs he had insisted that I purchase. I could tell that he felt bad for putting us through the ringer, but he was probably under pressure from management to deal with people like this.
If I hadn't been adamant about educating myself on the issue, and pressing them on it, there isn't a doubt in my mind that they would have charged us for parts and labor that were covered under the recall.
It wasn't until they realized how much I understood the problem and how little of their nonsense I would tolerate, that they finally fixed the problem without charging us for it.
Apple Tree: Don't bother copying and pasting some canned response to this review. Nobody is listening. You know what you do; you make everything as difficult and expensive for your customers as you can in hopes that they will break down and trade in their vehicle for cheap. It's so obvious.
Excellent customer service was given by Gene Schneider. He made us comfortable and welcomed. The finance office was taking a really long time so he entertained us with pictures and some great stories. He went out of his way to be accommodating. Didn t like when the finance guy was short with Gene. Very disrespectful and demeaning . Thank you Gene for the great service.
I called a week ahead of time to confirm my appointment and discuss what I needed done, when I showed up on the day they wouldnt even look at my car and told me they couldn't do it at the time I had scheduled a week ahead of time because it was too labor intensive... why didnt you tell me this when I called in? I had to leave my car there, and then when it was returned it didn't have my spare key in it.
The service department sets you up with a single "service adviser" despite having a large staff, good luck ever getting in touch with the exact service adviser you need.
It is also in south asheville and has traffic on the way there pretty much all the time.
I want to take a minute and just say what a fantastic buying experience I had with Tony Atkins. He handled my requests, my payment budget, and found me the perfect car. He made it easy and pleasant. I would encourage anyone to ask for him. You will not be disappointed. Emily Edwards
Tania is so great. I was nervous about the high pressure of buying a new car but she made it a friendly transaction and was very helpful as well. Wonderful experience and I will tell all my friends about her and Appletree Honda. Oh, love my CRV!
We recently bought a Honda Element at Apple Tree Honda. Devon Barrett helped us find a car that matches our lifestyle and that is fun to drive. He made us feel at ease with the car buying process, which went very well at Apple Tree Honda. We look forward to buying more cars from Devon in the future.
The estimated time to me for service on my vehicle is met earlier than stated. Very courteous and clear on unexpected finds to have approval before worked on. Very friendly atmosphere.
In area and decided to go through Express Service for tire rotation and oil change. Service was quick, Brenda helpful and coffee was hot . Was a pleasure and didn't take much time .
I came here with not much credit and hopes of getting a great car I could afford, that would last me a very long time. Devin Barrett went the extra mile to get me a great car. I couldn't be happy. Cheers to you buddy!
The people at Apple Tree in both sales and service go above and beyond to make sure the needs of the customer are met. Tony handled my initial transaction and has been awesome. In addition to everyone answering my questions promptly, I was very happy with the way in which they are handling Covid and keeping customer's safe. Thank You Apple Tree!
This place is something else. A few months ago I pulled up to the "express" oil change first thing in the morning and the guy said it would be hours. He suggested that I call to schedule an appointment if I did not want to wait hours. Just called to schedule an oil change; however, Scott stated that he needed the VIN number to schedule an oil change or that I can go through the "express" line. This place does not want business.
Pull up to the service department and you will sit there 30 minutes before someone acknowledges you. You will be totally ignored for at least 20 minutes even when no other cars are there. No one working on your car is wearing a uniform or even acceptable work clothes- they all just wander around in t shirts and holey shorts so there is no way of knowing who actually works there, though they all ignore you anyways.. Then there is the confusion, price gauging and chaos of the service itself-I cant stress how unprofessional and rude the service dept is.
I bought a 2019 from Apple Tree about 6 weeks ago. The sales person was great but the customer service after the purchase is HORRIBLE.
I was in an accident on Sunday and I have called multiple times, left several messages and agreed to text communication to get information on my warranty. Still no response.
Got the complete runaround when attempting to purchase a new car. We wanted a blue Honda Fit but were told there were none available within a five state area. Then they tried to sell us another color for $1500 more than we wanted to pay. We went home, searched on Google and found two blue Fits at another Honda dealer in Statesville within 15 minutes of looking. We got the car the very next day AND for $1200 less than Appletree wanted to charge us.
Appletree Honda is THE ONLY place to go get a car. Trust me I just spent the last month looking for a car and anytime I spent at all the other dealerships ( and I went to almost all of them ) was a total waste. I've never met any nicer people at a car dealership or anywhere else for that matter. They went way over and above the call of duty to get me into the right car. They truly helped me buy a car, they didn't just sell me one. Not only are all the staff friendly and helpful but they are very down to earth. It was actually a fun experience. And I have to give a shout out to Blake who worked with me. He stayed in touch with me even when he was off of work and he really cared about getting me into the right car and making it easy. Don't waste your time or your money going to another dealership. Appletree Honda will do you right. You can thank me later. Right now just head on down there. You will be glad you did.
Visited with a friend who was shopping for a car. I won't shop there myself. 2 years ago I talked with a salesman over the phone, told them the exact vehicle I wanted (in stock), accurately described my existing vehicle, agreed that the price I wanted to pay to get out the door was doable, get there, sales guy says yes, then the "sales manager" comes out and says we can't do that and wanted almost $2,000 more. Wasted 2 hours of my time plus driving time. Walked out, drove to another Honda dealer and paid the price originally agreed to by Appletree. The Appletree dealership did exactly the kind of things that give car dealerships bad names. Buyer beware.
When we bought our Honda Accord the salesman was great, his name is Peter Estrada. We had an issue with it making a popping noise in the front, the had our car got about a month, but was able to get it fixed. We never received any paper work on what was done after we received a letter stating that they would mail it. So today my wife took it to have service done on it and tire rotation. Wouldn't rotate tires because wear on inside of front tire. Asked to see where they had aligned the car but they couldn't show us that. Brian in service department completely lied about me saying that I had called liar and attacked him over the phone. Little did he know I was in my office with about 12 other people. Then it was he that called my wife a liar when she had told him that we never received the paper work on the car. So I would not suggest them got any service work. And this is the second Honda we've owened but looking like the last since Apple Tree is our only local dealer we have to service our car. So congrats Brian between me and my friends and family Honda has just lost 5 or more people's business.
I am very grateful for the service and staff at Apple Tree Honda. They've exceeded my expectations yet again! I would like to thank Ibis Sherren and Grant Leech for providing a wonderful experience during a difficult time for me. #customerforlife
To start off with... the service at first sucked. I feel like usually when you go to a car dealership they approach you almost immediately. I had to go and find help about a car. In the end we ended up buying a car despite the awful service in the beginning but if you are serious about buying a car then I recommend going inside the building and asking for help.
Jason ID number 67993 there is several Jason's make sure to get this one he was very knowledgeable and knows what you need and there is no trying to push you into something you do not need. I have two Honda's 05 and 11 with high miles. I have had them for some time his advise has got them running just like new.
The customer service is very nice and polite. The sales representative that helped us, Jordan Turchi, was very knowledgeable and informative on the vehicle that we test drove. Very happy with the service that my fiance and I received. Definitely would recommend this dealership to family and friends!
Could NOT have had a better experience purchasing a vehicle. Much thanks to Steve Harron and Mark, both of whom were very helpful. Thank you very much!
Apple Tree is the place to go to purchase a Honda vehicle! Tom Nail and other staff are professional, knowledgeable and communicate well with each other to make sure the customer has best experience possible. I highly recommend Tom Nail as he is very organized, patient, thorough with information given, and strives to make each customer happy before leaving the dealership.
Was a walk in to get a oil change done and the service personnel made a outstanding job to get the service done and out before the time that I was told. Did the oil change, rotation of tires and they even took the time to show me and to explain and answer my questions that I had about my husbands car. I felt like everything they did for me was outstanding. Very courteous and professional on the way they handled all my request. It was worth the 3 hours round trip drive to take the car in. Thank you for the outstanding professional service.
Thank you for the email. We did have an exceptional experience with Stephanie Dilts. She sold my husband a CR-V Touring in January & we enjoyed working with her. Everything went smoothly & was excited the car only had 13 miles on it. After completely all the paperwork the HR-V was ready for me to drive home. We left the dealership & had driven about 20 miles when my husband noticed the odometer reading. Instead of having only a few miles, it had over 1800 miles driven on it. Yew, over 1800 miles. We called Stephanie & told her we we bringing it back & wanted an explanation. When we got back Stephanie had Cameron, the sales manager, explain what happened. The HR-V was actually a demo that an employee had been given for their use & they failed to tell us this (he knew the vehicle was a demo the entire time we were going back & forth with the deal but never informed us). This put the sale from an exceptional experience to one of disappointment. Cameron tried to explain to us we still got a very good deal on the vehicle. At this point, are we suppose to believe or trust what we are being told? My husband told Cameron we expect to be reimbursed for the miles driven by their employee & asked for 60 cents per mile. He said he could give us $500 off. My husband felt we should get $1100 off. Cameron went to his office & called his boss to see what could be done. He came back & told us we had 3 choices, accept the $500 off, wait until they could locate another silver HR-V, or walk away from the deal. My husband was expecting he would come back with a counter of $700 to $800 off. We were both upset with the deal but I really wanted the car so we reluctantly agreed on the $500. When my husband bought his CR-V, he had to bring it back to have additional items put on his vehicle. The service rep, Brian, was terrible. No communication at all. He told my husband the car should be ready around 12:30. My husband returned the rental car in at the time & was told it would be just a little while. At 4:30, our sales rep, Stephanie, came out & offer to let us drive the rental car home & pick up our vehicle the next day. He then asked to speak with the service manager & he tried to explain how these things sometimes take longer than expected. He was not very concerned that the service advisor had not kept us informed of the lack of progress. My husband tried to explain to him the lack of communications but he didn't seem interested.
As far as we are concerned, Apple Tree Honda has failed us twice in only 3 months. We are concerned what will happen if we do bring in our vehicles in for service. We gave you a second chance when we bought the HR-V. I hope you can understand why we have a lack of trust in your dealership based on our first 2 experiences with you. We just moved to North Carolina in December. This is the first time we have ever had back to back problems with either a purchase or service from a dealership.
My husband and I went to Apple Tree with interest in purchasing two pre owned vehicles. We were outside and no one came to talk to us. We went inside, stood in the lobby area hoping someone would approach us. At least two employees saw us and said nothing. As we left one employee walked by us on his way out the door and said nothing. We will not be back.
Went to Apple Tree for an airbag recall. the repair was slated to take possibly all day, but they got it done in 2 hours. Awesome. Staff was friendly and professional - very efficient. Also managed to stop by the Parts Department and take care of an issue with a key. Totally satisfied. NOTE: I've been an Apple Tree customer since 1983 or so and they've always been great.
Duane Rigsby has helped me with my last 2 purchases at Apple Tree and has ensured that I will not shop for a car anywhere else. He took time to really understand what I was looking for, even when I wasn't totally aware of what that was, and made suggestions that have put me into the best vehicles I have ever owned. The service department is also extremely helpful and regular maintenance gets finished in a timely manner. I recommend everyone I know to see him.
Words aren't enough to describe our amazing experience at Apple Tree Honda. It was our first time going through a Dealership for a vehicle and we will now be life long customers! Jeff Smith took very excellent care of us! He was patient, kind, and down to Earth! We purchased an awesome used Honda CRV that is perfect for our new family, Thank you all so much!
We had a great experience! Ask for Tim in the pre-owned lot; he's honest! And actually has YOUR best interest at heart! Buying a car is confusing and stressful but he does everything he can to make it smooth and pleasant.
Whenever I need any type of service there is no one I trust more than Jason Early to help my family and I. He's helped me for years and there's no way I'd trust anyone else to keep my vehicles safe. It gives me comfort knowing that my wife and kids are riding in a Honda that is maintained by Apple Tree.
Each time I go to apple tree honda the experience gets worse. I have had a lot of issues with this store in the last year. I just wish there was a closer Honda dealership to me.
Stephanie was an awesome sales associate. She got my husband and I exactly what we wanted. I will definitely purchase another vehicle from Apple Tree Honda.
My friends and family have both purchased a vehicle from this dealership and continue to use their service department for all vehicle needs because the staff are incredibly friendly and thorough. Customer service is important to us. Excellent service department!
I just bought an Accord from Tim Willis. He is your pre-owned and internet vehicle specialist. He listens to you and discusses different options for you to think about. You can trust his expertise and knowledge in finding the perfect vehicle that will complete and satisfy you for years to come. Thanks Tim...I love my car.
Apple Tree Honda was great to do business with. Our sales associate, Stephanie Dilts was awesome. She was personable and completely understood our specific needs in a car. She went out of her way to schedule times that worked for us. In general, the dealership was great. Never pushy, just informative. Highly recommended.
I supported my mom in deciding on a vehicle to purchase through Appletree. Stephanie Dilts was an amazing and helpful consultant throughout the entire process. The people are Appletree care and are there to listen and help, not just make money off of you. I will refer all of my friends here!
