Had my son take in his Pontiac for diagnosis of major problem, and while they correctly diagnosed the problem the estimate for the repairs was so high I had my son check the local Chevy dealer for the same repair which came in a full 1/2 lower. My son told Gainsville Buick about the other estimate including who it was from and they refused to lower their price, so we had it towed to the other dealer (Davis Gainsville Automotive -- Chevy) who did the exact repair for half the price, perfectly. Car now runs great. The two stars is obviously about price, as the diagnosis was correct.

Al Hunter is an amazing sales person. He is so helpful and dedicated to making sure you find the right vehicle. Really puts the customer needs first. What a great experience working with him
I worked with Rachelle and Blake. I had been searching for the right vehicle for a couple of months (working with several dealerships) and they seriously made my buying experience the most positive. They even helped me surprise my husband. If you want to deal with true professionals I highly suggest working with either of these two. Sincerely, a very pleased customer.
After decades of this being the "local" car shop..it is no more... Out with the Raulerson Family and in with the big corporate conglomerate...and out goes the customer service and HONESTY! Bought more than 10 cars from this shop(usually bought from Sam)..but the last transaction was the final nail in the coffin(not Sam).. They simply ripped us off..bought 2 cars(one new and one used)....now come to find out they sold us the used car for more than $10,000.00 OVER what the KBB value is...under the guise that our "payment is the amount we wanted"... Never again and hopefully this feedback will assist others from the same scam... Dishonest!
My vehicle broke down on July 4th 2017 and the Buick dealer was open which was great for me as I was traveling for an out of state vacation. My vehicle needed an alternator and upon inspection the dealership recommended I get an oil change, transmission flush, and cleaning of the throttle body housing. I did all in the tune of over $1100. The oil change wasn't done correctly at all. Two days following the oil change I added two quarts of oil and had my vehicle. Andrew from Gainesville Buick GMC recommended I have the vehicle checked at the Cadillac dealer in my hometown. I did, on July 12th 2017 and no oil leaks were found and the pressure test found no oil leaks. I also noticed the oil change sticker in the windshield wasn't changed by Gainesville Buick GMC which normally is updated with information of next oil change and mileage. My service advisor "Andrew" who was a nice gentleman in person, now will not return my calls.
They changed the price after the deal was made. I took 2 test drives, liked the car, and gave them a written offer. The salesman called and said that his boss, the used car manager, agreed to the price. As I was heading down to give them a check, I got a call and was told that the general manager said they would not take my offer and wanted more money. Spent maybe 3 hours on this only to get shafted. Nice.
Very nice people to deal with. Matt Martin was very helpful and understanding. We have dealt with Santa fe Ford for 25 years but now we have a new dealer at Gainesville Buick GMC.
Very disappointed to be charged $100 just to have my problem diagnosed. Now Im having the problem repaired and they don't credit me the $100 toward repair! GMC Ocala stated that they too charge $100 to diagnose a problem but credit he $100 toward the repair if you decide to get it fixed with them
All of people were very polite, patient, good listeners, took time to make us feel comfortable, and if we discussed our concerns about the job/work that is needed, they would take the time to explain the details. Also when we expressed our financial concerns, they took that into consideration. My only issue, is that the assistance they could provide was minimal, although very much appreciated, was at times still more than what we could afford. I do appreciate the service managers trying to make the effort to accommodate for my financial concerns.
Went in to look at a vehicle I saw when passing could not find anyone to help me then I heard page for sales person on lot one came out but did not seem to interested probably since I said j was looking the sales man then become mad i asked to see general manager and that took 15 minutes to see him when i did he was talking to me with his eyes closed i thought he was falling asleep i told him what I was trying to do and he kept talking with eyes closed I find that to be very shallow and disrespectful. I will not go here anymore.
These guys are great. They keep very nice used vehicles. I left with a rare jewel almost hassle free. My salesperson' name is Al. He was awesome! If you're in Gainesville be sure to stop by here when car shopping new or preowned.
Do not buy your vehicle here they are dishonest and will rip you off as much as possible. You will regret it! the whole process was frustrating considering the sales person was trying to work with us and when an issue with the loan came up and we would have to pay out of pocket we asked if we could be met in the middle which was $250 the manager just says no and walks away but they purposefully kept paperwork to call us back for one more offer which was what we asked in the first place. The biggest problem was we declined an optional service which had a key replacement involved. Well we get home come to find out one of the two keys they gave us was not functional at all. not broken or damaged but not even the correct chip in the key. They acted like it was a selling point receiving 2 keys with vehicle. We notified the dealer and they said they would do a "favor" and would cover the reprogramming but when they key company notified them it was not a valid key and would cost $180 for a new key and I was told they "weren't that nice" by the salesperson over the phone and that was it. They don't care at all about your business and just want to take advantage of you and move on. Worst customer service I've received in a very long time.
Iv'e used the service department here for at least a decade either as an individual or through my family's company vehicles, and I have never had any complaints, until recently. I called to voice my complaint and my issue was immediately resolved to my total satisfaction, and I will continue to use Gainesville Buick and GMC for my vehicle service and maintenance needs, and would recommend them to anyone in need of car repairs and service.
Our truck broke down and I had to pay for a tow truck, I asked for a loaner car and was told "NO" the truck had 24,000 miles on it, they fixed some sort of sensor and did 2 warranty things. We were without our truck for 9 days, since its my husband had to drive my car, it meant that I had to cancel any appointments that I had because I couldn't get a loaner car. One week and a day later the truck broke down again doing the same thing as before, my husband again had to take my car, when I called them, I told them I needed a tow truck at their expense, and a loaner car. They apologized and paid for the tow truck and I got a loaner car. It apparently was a different problem with the truck as the same code comes up for several things. It was repaired and we picked our truck up 5 days later.
Bough a 2015 Chevy Silverado last month - AC broke in it within 25 days. Paid $900 at the dealership to fix it (surprisingly a good price). When I test drove it noticed the brakes squeaking and asked them to check and they said they were good. One month later I get a shake when I stop like a normal person. Low and behold, Chevy up the street said they need new brake pads. This Buick GMC Gainesville had failed again to do their 109 point inspection on the car I paid $24,000 for. Go to the Chevy up the street, they are less likely to f- you in the b-.
I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership. I looked at several trucks on the lot on Tuesday. Found one I liked, but it wasn t ready, had to be checked by the service department first.
As soon as the truck was ready I paid for an inspection, negotiated a price and agreed to all the terms over email while I was at work.
I drove across town and waited over 30 minutes to be told the truck was sold. I am at a loss for why this dealership felt it could agree to terms, take my time and money and leave me in the lurch.
I appreciate the salesman apologizing, they spent a lot of time on this deal. I hope the manager who made this decision will reach out to me and make this right. Until then, I can not recommend Gainesville GMC.
**Update**
Managment reached out and apologized for the mishap. I m still disappointed that I missed out on the truck and I m still looking, but the dealership reimbursed me for the inspection we did and I m thankful for that.
I made it late and was still seen in a timely manner , I would recommend this dealership for all your needs used and new thanks to Paul D Vollrath and his team I was very pleased with the service.
No time is a good time for your vehicle to break down, but the service department could not have been more helpful and understanding. They were quick to respond to my needs. Kim Murscoe was my service manager and she is excellent at her job. I highly recommend the GMC Buick dealership in Gainesville, Florida.
The staff were AMAZING! Especially Blake, Richard, ad Willie. They were transparent, open, and honest throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and satisfied. Definitely recommending them to all my family and friends!
Poor custumer service. Willy rude after he makes a sale and Blake the supervisor gave us some dollar store car matts after they sold us a truck without them. Felt like I was talk down upon after thinking they forgot to give us matts. Other salesmen seem friendlier. Would have like to dealt with some of them insteand.
I ve yet to ever feel comfortable while bringing my car into this dealership. Because I have an active warranty, etc., I ve used the dealership verses another shop for the sake of convenience. The three interactions I ve had in the service department has been nothing but disappointing. The older gentleman that works there always seems to be bothered, or in a hurry to only make a dime off of you. I recently brought my car in for an oil change and did not feel satisfied at the end of the appointment. The said employee tried encouraging me to purchase a new filter and breaks because the mechanics had recommended it. Ok, fine. I had mentioned that I wasn t interested at this time and would fix that issue myself. Immediately, he seemed entirely disinterested to make me feel welcomed or get me out in a timely manner once the service was complete. That being said, I could see my car ready in the service drive-through (I waited in the waiting room during the entire service); after 15 mins of staring at my car, I decided to walk towards the service desk where I saw the said employee on an online slot machine website (really?). Suddenly, my car was ready. Although I know I m not the only customer (it s not all about me) I expect better service. I will go elsewhere from here on. The place seems sketchy and unprofessional.
Mr. McFarland changed my life today. I've had a bad last few years and down on my luck. I would have never thought I could get financed anywhere and would have to find a buy here pay here and hope for the best, but I got a call and was told he'd be able to help me out. He even picked me up. Everyone there was very kind and courteous. It was a very comfortable and pleasant experience. I highly recommend anyone in anything close to the same position I was in to go there.
I came to GMC on July 22nd 2015 for an oil change and tire rotation. I came in at 10am to drop my truck off. Ian helped me out at the service department. When I dropped my truck off Ian told me that it would take one hour and thirty minutes to two hours. I had a friend pick me up and take me home. The time goes by still have not heard back from Ian. At 2:30pm I called the service department to see if my truck was being serviced. After being on hold for 10-15 minutes the person on the phone told me that my truck "has not even been looked at and that it should take another hour or so". So I finally get a phone call from Ian at 5pm stating that my truck was finished being serviced. When I finally get my truck seven hours after I dropped it off for a simple oil change and tire rotation I noticed that they did not even put air in the tires and all of them were low. This service was terrible, Ian did not even apologize for the inconvenience for me having to wait seven hours for my truck.
I purchased a 2011 Yukon from this dealer 2 years ago. I actually was on my way to Georgia to purchase a used Tahoe. I had thoroughly researched used and new Tahoes after having owned one about 5 years ago. At the last minute I realized I had not considered the Yukons and stopped in for a quick visit. Salesman was typical, nice and very eager. But I quickly told him exactly what I was looking for and that I needed to speak with a manager about an offer immediately as I was on my way to Georgia to buy a used Tahoe. It took all of about 15 minutes to work out a deal since I am a seasoned buyer and the dealership was prepared to sell this vehicle. The manager was easy to work with and after looking at and discussing the invoice we quickly consumated a deal, which by the way included two (2) trade ins! Finance manager was equally fast and even helped me with better financing thru a third party when he noticed my excellent credit. So step one, the sale, went great. Step two, the service has been pretty good as well. Did have an issue on the first service visit with the amount of time my wife had to wait after making an appointment. The service manager contacted me within 24 hours about my concern and quickly made it right by providing me two additional service vouchers (In addition to the two I got when I purchased the vehicle!). Service writers are super professional and courteous and the waiting room is very nice with the 70" TV, very comfortable chairs coffee, popcorn, etc. I have not included any specific names because I did not remember them all. But so far I have received excellent customer service from everyone at this dealership and that is saying something because I am a stickler for receiving good customer service when spending my hard earned money and I have had my fair share of poor customer service at other dealerships. Keep up the great work guys and gals!
UPDATE: Have been back in for service and the great customer service continues to be the norm! Keep up the great work!
I bought my car from a tent sale with this company a year ago. I was supposed to get paid for my car that they bought from me, and that took a month to happen. I have had 3 oil changes that came with me buying this car so far, and I must say I'm not impressed with the service department. The staff at this place seem very complacent, lots of no eye contact and some of rhe staff walking around talking inappropriate subjects. The sales people of course are courdal. I walked in today and the person at the service desk was eating his cup o noodles, and he just sits there and no greeting. So I just walk over to him and dude is super bland. Typing hard on his keyboard like I'm inconveniencing him by being there. Mind you my appointment is at 1 pm. So after 5 minutes of paperwork with the "coupons" for my oil change I finally get my car in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. As I previously explained there were many workers there with poor attitudes. For instance one sales man wanted to get the tv working and asked a worker that was passing by if they knew where the controller was. She was very short with a smudged up face and was like "no". After an hour of sitting there the same employee which I assume works moving vehicles, walks by again with another worker complaining about how the keys always get moved around or something with a few choice words, mind you there was a child and other customers there. After almost two hours finally a girl walks up and is like your car will be ready in 5 minutes, so I sat there for almost 10 minutes and no one came back. So I walked to service and stopped at the bathroom, and wow there was so much water on the floor. Dirty from many shoes walking through it and a wet floor sign in the middle of it, which shows someone addressed the wet floor but was clearly not going to go above and beyond by cleaning it up. At this point I was done. I walked out and my "service" guy had others waiting and wasn't even offering a "hey thank you all for your patience". It's the little things that matter. He says to me are you ready, again he didn't come and say it was done he only sat at his desk, I was like yeah sure I'm ready. After another 10 or so minutes goes by and during this time another service lady was trying to offer customer care because she sees the back up happening. Dude totally says out loud wow she had quite the attitude. He finally gets my card run and my receipt to me and he low-key says thanks for your patience. So I go to my car and there were grease smudges on my door handle, and on my steering wheel, I didn't go back in because at this point they had a lot of strikes against them. So I called and the customer service, not a manager, was kind and apologized, I don't want that I say to her, I want you to realize the complacency that is occurring there. When I got off of the phone at home I looked at my sticker which is set for 7000 miles, so I call back and ask if my car goes 7k before the next oil change, and again this company dropped the ball. He offered to have me come back so they could change the sticker to the proper mileage, and again I was like no it should be been done right in the first place. This is for the staff, which a manager should be saying to them, If you don't like your job don't work at it go and better your self, don't take it out on your customers while signs of "the customer is first" hang within eye sight all over the place.
Took my truck in for recalls. They did the recalls and did not charge me for shop fees nor did they try to push me to do unneeded service. I will use them again. Thanks Dave for all you help.
Great place! I always get all our work done for all of our company vehicles at Gainesville GMC. Between Kim M. And Ryan K. In the service department they always take care of me. Thank you Gainesville GMC!
My experience with Gainesville Buick GMC was absolutely amazing. The people are great kind and friendly. If it's wasn't for the most amazing Mrs. Nikki Paterson. I never would have been able to be in my new truck she didn't say no she went through every option available and left no page Un turned until she found what would work and get me in my new truck. If you need a vehicle this is the place to go and she's the person to see!
Ned was very professional, knowledgeable, polite and accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a truck. The whole dealership is really nice and the finance manager did a great job. They had the truck I was looking for, drove it back to Georgia and the truck operated great.
Horrible! After speaking to the Sales Manager (Scott) about a used car they had, he told me to drive in to make a deal. Knowing that I was driving from Tallahassee (2.5 hrs away) he sold the vehicle while I was on the way and didn't even call to tell me!
Imagine my surprise after dragging my family of 4 on the road. Nice 5 hour round-trip drive for a waste of time. The worst part, he wouldn't come out of his little cube office to tell me and sent one of his sales people out to let me know. What a coward. Horrible business people. Avoid them!
Kevin Benson and Liana R. are amazing at what they do!! Walked in just to inform myself of my possibilities as far as getting another vehicle and walked out with the truck I've been needing and wanting! They did an absolutely amazing job at getting the monthly payment down to something I can afford even though my credit is no where near perfect. Customer service is more than 5 stars!!!
Fast-friendly and painless! Just the way I like buying a car. Out the door and enjoying my car within an hour. Love the sales department - Big O rocks!
Ryan in the service department was a huge help today! My car was called in for a recall, had it done and out in 2 hours. He was polite and very willing to accommodate!
My Husband and I have been looking for a truck for about a month now. We originally spoke with PJ who took our info and said he would contact us if he came across anything in our price range. Well towards the end of the month I received a call from Kurt letting me know he had a couple trucks that might interest us and to let him know what we thought. We told Kurt we liked an 07 Sierra and he told me that there was another couple from crystal river that was interested in the veh. but it would be first come first serve. So on Friday after work we went to look at the truck, when we got there we stood around for about 20 minutes waiting on Kurt to "get the truck" meanwhile the manager pulled up in 2011 Silverado. When we asked Kurt where the truck was he said "well, its sold" but they wanted to make us a deal on the Silverado. So we decided to stay and make a deal. After test driving the truck we waited for about 30 minutes in the lobby when the manager told us he had a truck for us to look at..which ended up being the Sierra we originally came to see. They didn't even bother to take the "SOLD to so and so" sign out of the truck before letting us look. Meanwhile they were showing the couple from crystal river the Silverado they wanted to make us a deal on. We ended up leaving with out purchasing a truck. very upset with the way we were played against another couple, just so they could make a couple more dollars. Don't plan on doing business here ever again.
I want to take this opportunity to give a huge shot out to Dan Wernecke and all of the service technicians who worked on my transmission this month. The service was outstanding and they truly went above and beyond not only with the repair of my car but also with customer service. I will be sure to recommend anyone looking for nothing but the best of service. I appreciate you guys!!! -Jess
Every car I found online and was interested in wasn't available, when I contacted this Buick GMC dealership, I spoke to Mike Bonn, auto was on lot, set up an appointment for the following day, test drove the vehicle, then got down to the bottom line for the deal. Then Brian Rundle went over some information with us, then Mo Matrajp finished us off in the signing of the documents.
Looked at hundreds of vehicles online, searching for a safe vehicle for our teenage daughter. We live in Gainesville so having this quality dealership in our hometown was a bonus.
My issue is with the customer service that I received in the service department. I recently brought my daughters car in for service on the shifting cable. The car was dropped off over a week ago, and they assured me that they would let me know the status of the vehicle. the part was scheduled to come in on Wednesday and the car was supposed to be done on Friday. I called on Friday and was told by my service advisor (I'm not going to put his name out there) that the car was NOT done and the part hasn't even come in. he then said that he would call me back once he finds out what the problem is. NO CALL on Friday, when then call on Saturday and speak to the receptionist (once again I am not gonna call names) but she was NOT the friendliest, and she took my name and number and said that she would look into it and call back... once again NO return phone call. So now here we are on Monday, no car and no call. Both my daughter and I call and all of a sudden the car is fixed and there was a mysterious call made an Friday stating that the car was ready, but remember i called on Saturday and the car was not ready. I am not pleased with the service department customer service, and that is the reason I do NOT personally have a car from them any longer, by when we purchased from Mitsubishi across the street I didn't know that they were affiliated with each other, or I would have shopped elsewhere. This is NOT the 1st time that the service department has delivered unsatisfactory customer service. I give them one star only because you can't send the review without a star!!!!
Let me start by saying I am a gear head, I know cars, I love cars and I have been buying cars for 22 years now. With that said, I had the most excellent experience with this dealership. They happened to have a very hard to find BMW that I was able to purchase seamlessly from 1500 miles away. They then so graciously held the car for weeks while I moved those 1500 miles. I dealt with several employees and they were all fantastic when I went to pick up the car I got to meet them and they were just as fantastic in person. Whoever does the hiring at this establishment has done some good picking as there are some true gentlemen working there. And whoever detailed my car did an amazing job and managed to deliver me a 14 year old car with no visible swirl marks in the paint. Kudos and thank you!
My car had the rack and pinion (of the power steering) replaced in December at Sears. I began having problems with the power steering recently and took it in and was told that that the power steering fluid level was ok, there was no leak, but that they thought the pump was the problem. GMC had issued a memo about problems with the power steering pump (which GMC would cover to repair), so I brought the car into the GMC dealer with the information I was given that the pump was bad. GMC ran diagnostics, to the tune of $119.00 total, and told me that the pump was ok, and the rack and pinion was ok, but that one of the power steering hoses was leaking and that the power steering fluid level was low. The estimate for the repairs was over $600. For some reason, they ran additional diagnostics that I did not ask for, and told me that the tire struts were leaking (the car has no symptoms of this), and that a hose to the air compressor was leaking (the air conditioner swiftly cools down the car, no symptoms of this either). For a grand total estimate of over $2,000 in repairs I supposedly needed.
I took the car to Sears, because I did need the power steering problem fixed, and their phone estimate for repairing a leaking power steering hose was $300 (half the cost of GMC). At Sears, after doing diagnostics for free... they told me the power steering fluid level was fine and that they looked everywhere and could not find any leak in the hoses. They didn't understand what GMC was looking at. (Of note, I drove directly to Sears from GMC, so this was done within 30 minutes of the bogus diagnostics done at GMC). Sears then told me they believed the problem to be the rack and pinion, which they replaced for free (as it was still under warranty, having been replaced 5 months prior). The car now drives wonderfully, with the problem completely solved.
I am extremely dissatisfied with GMC, that they would 1) have such a wrong diagnosis for the problem with the power steering 2) have such a high cost to repair it. Had I gone with the recommendation from GMC, I would be out $600 with for a hose I didn't need, with a car that still didnt drive correctly due to a malfunctioning rack and pinion. I also have doubts that the other repairs they suggested (to rack up to $2000 in repairs) were in any way needed. If I do need more repairs, I will definitely not be returning to this dealer, because at best, they were incompetent to diagnose the problem, or at worst they were being dishonest and trying to rack up charges for repairs I didn't need.
Ian worked with me on my service visit, and was, as he always is, honest, professional and helpful. It is nice to deal with someone you feel that you can trust, and will treat you fairly and courteously. Drew was the tech who did the service, and my interaction with him was very professional as well. He did a good job on my car, and was very helpful. Both Ian and Drew communicated with me throughout the process very well. I would highly recommend taking your car there for any service needs.
Mike and his sales manager, Paul, were both absolutely amazing. I came by, just to get an idea of what was available, and to narrow my options, believing that I would not find anything at this dealership within my price range, but right away, Mike was able to find something that was very close to what I wanted. He treated me very well, and impressed me with their products, as well as service. I checked a couple other dealerships, but just did not find the same quality or treatment. I returned, spoke with Paul, let him know what I was looking for, and he and Mike helped me find a vehicle with more features, and better safety options, and very close to the same prices I had already been quoted. I absolutely love my new car, and have recommended this dealership to everybody I know. On a side note, upon returning to the dealership, two weeks after my purchase, to have a protective treatment applied to the interior and on the paint, I spoke with another sales agent, who even though I informed him I had already purchased a new vehicle from Mike, the gentleman spent some time speaking with me, and making me feel welcomed. We spoke about my new vehicle and how I feel about it, and he seemed genuinely interested. When I am ready for a new vehicle, I will gladly return to this dealership.
Sent a friend here to buy new truck, B. Rundle took great care of him. He provided quick, attentive, and friendly service. My next car buying experience will start here. Would not think of buying a car without checking here first.
I received a typical "bait and switch" offer from this dealership. Was quoted a price in the afternoon and drove 3 hours to purchase the vehicle. Upon arrival I was informed that the truck was "sold" that morning even though I received the price in the afternoon. The dealership then proceeded to attempt to sell me another truck with the exact same options for 8k more. (Which already had 800 miles and was being sold as "new"). Needless to say I was displeased.
Never once did I receive an apology email or phone call.
Drove to a different GMC dealership and purchased a truck for under asking price with only 40 miles on it.
My Salesman Sam Esposito is the most courteous and competent salesman I've ever met! This is the second vehicle I've purchased from Sam and Gainesville Buick and GMC, and it will NOT be the last. The entire staff makes the car buying experience so easy and no pressure. I would like to personally thank Sam, Jose, the Sales Manager, and all the Gainesville Buick and GMC staff, for another amazing GMC vehicle, and a wonderful buying experience. Thank you! Sincerely, Tom
This is where Honda sends their cars for body work so I took my Honda Fit for repair after someone ran into the back of it. They did a great job with every aspect of the job. Cannot see any of the damage. Paint is an exact match. They had repairs done before estimated time. The only problem I had was they were booked 3 weeks out so had to wait longer than I expected to have the repairs done. I would recommend this place.
I have a rattle in my door which should be covered by warranty but was told there's a $109 diagnostic charge unless they find defective material that can be billed to GM. I said there's no way I'm going to pay a diagnostic fee for a rattle that should be warranty covered. I have been an 8 year loyal customer, a Buick buyer from your dealership and am quite disappointed with new service policies.
I've always had a great experience however this trip was not the same. I made an appointment, waited for 5 minutes to have someone come out and greet me even though I was the only one inn the waiting dock. I then waited for almost 2 hours to have an oil change and my tires rotated but was never told that the wait would be that long and the service lady knows I'm always on a time limit, I've used the service since I bought my vehicle. I was disappointed that even though she knew I was in a hurry, once my vehicle was up she continued to have a very long winded conversation with someone not even getting services, was there for parts. Over all, if this was my first experience I would not be back.
Today, 7/12/17, I went in to have my vehicle serviced but didn't make an appointment. The service team quickly advised me that they may not be able to get to me at all today. The service member asked me the problem and immediately went to check my vehicle and run a quick test. They said it was a small leak from my gas cap, I had checked it, and said the light would be off in a few days. Hope they are right, but either way greatly appreciated the customer care!! Figured if I complained about the bad, then should give props for the good!
The (3) employees that I had the pleasure to work with were extremely friendly, knowledgeable of the products available, and all professional. I had previously looked at other dealerships, I even found a vehicle I was interested in, I just couldn't find an employee that was interested in helping me. No so with Gainesville Buick GMC. From the time I arrived to the time a deal was completed, I was guided and helped through the process. Wonderful experience in buying an automobile, great price, and good trade-in value. Try it, you will be glad you did.
We just got home with a truck from this place. We are so happy with our purchase and how we were treated. Everybody was very willing to work with us. Can't wipe this smile off my face for a while.
Rachelle is awesome and she went above and beyond to help me get the vehicle I desired. I haven't brought any other make than Ford since the 90s. I decided to look outside my Ford favorites and found a GMC Terrain that I really like and wanted. Rachelle wouldn't give up even when I was going to just wait until I could get the payment and vehicle I desired. Thanks Rachelle, Jon and Gainesville Buick GMC and all the sale personnel that help me through this decision. Now I'm just waiting for my new ride to arrive.
Tim worked closely with me to find a solution and help me navigate my problem, and the Assistant Service Manager followed up to make sure everything was squared away!
Excellent work GMC! Thank you very much for always assisting me Dan Wernecke! I am completely satisfied with the service. Very easy to work with and always give updates in a timely manner. Will always go back here for car issues.
After owning 2 Yukons and an Acadia, we are very frustrated with the high cost of service at this place. Went to get one headlight bulb replaced and an oil change and was handed a bill prior to service, which was a good thing because when I saw the amount of $334, I walked out. We had the opposite headlight done one year prior and it was $98. How did it jump to $300 to replace a bulb. I know the bumper needs to come off, but that is ridiculous. That is why you see so many GMC's around with one headlight out. We will NEVER purchase another GMC vehicle or will NEVER recommend a GMC to family or friends. Why would a car company make something that is so simple, like replacing a bulb, so expensive and complicated to get to, when many other makes and models can be done quickly, easily and for a fraction of the cost, and for the price to triple in just a year is an absolute ripoff. Looks like we'll be going with Toyota, $94 INCLUDING labor, per headlight for my son's 2017 Sequoia.
Update: we were able to get the headlight replaced PLUS AN OIL CHANGE for a total of $120 at a local repair shop, which I would highly recommend doing
This is one of those dealerships that pushes these gross schemes sending out "you're a winner" flyers with promises about matching numbers and winning iPads.
They are always on time with there WORK and the Staff is GREAT, They treat every one like they are FAMILY,,they talk too you about the work being done they talk to you about your car after the work is done they go far and be find to offer you the best choices that's best for your car, I'M VERY PLEASED WITH MY CAR AND THE WORK THAT I GET DONE THRU GMC MITSHIBUS, AND MOST OF ALL THEY MAKE EVERYONE FEELS EQUAL AND HUMAN,THE BEST THING ABOUT GM IS THEY NEVER LET YOU SIT FOR LONG HOURS ,THEY WILL GET YOU OUT IN A TIMELY FASHION,IF BY ANY CHANCE IT'S GONNA BE A LENGTHY PROCESS THEY DEFINITELY PERIODICALLY COME CHECK ON YOU AND KEEP YOU UP DATED. THAT'S BUSINESS.
The Company i worked for Had 5 Cars Repaired by this Dealership 3 Times we were Missquoted And Overcharged . The Last Transaction we Had with them Put The Final Bill @ Almost $ 9 k That Would Have Totaled The Car However we had No Choice but To Pay The inflated amount for A Repair That took over 6 months to Complete. When we paid in Full There was an Extra $ 1k Charged to us because They Could Not or Would Not Locate a Check we Mailed Them . When we Went to pick up The Car The Battery Was Left Dead . Piss Poor Customer Service on a Commercial Level .
I was satisfied with the initial customer service. It was a quick drop off process and they even drove me to work. It was there to have the oil changed & a recalled part replaced. As with most dealership services, they try to sell you their parts & service. However, in this instance I felt like they were attempting to hustle me. The representative who called said my 'tires appeared to be okay' and my front wipers 'may last another month' My tires were replaced in May 2016 and the wipers in March 2016. IF they are going to try and sell products and services, they need to be a little more knowledgeable of the car they are calling about.----FOLLOW UP UPDATE: Gainesville GMC contacted me to apologize for issues. They are definitely dedicated to customer satisfaction and service. This is the first time I have been contacted to rectify an issue following a not so great review. Thanks to Gainesville GMC for stepping up and changing my opinion :)
