Powers Distributing Review

I was told o friday I
Could arrive Sunday n park overnight but gate is shut any idea how to get in

They tell there smaller accounts they are Low priority. Even after doing business with them for 15 years.

Gate was open. Overnight parking. Big lot. Let s see how off load goes. Nice, clean and quiet

Good company receiving hours are start at 5 a.m they unload pretty decent. Staff are nice people. Theres over might stay if u run out of hours.

They lie and treat there employees like they don't do a lot of work they only pay $ 10.35 an hour and other people get paid more they make it sound good when you first start but trust me they are all lies I worked there and I quit after 4 months there is a lot more to say about this company but I will run out of room to say it all don't believe them and don't work for powers distributing I was on the senuraty list they dropped my pay they treat the recycling department different then the main building because all of the big shots walk thru there and recycling does more work then the other building trust me I know I worked in both buildings. .

The upper management is terrible and they have no clue how to run the recycling center. I went through three mangers and got stuck doing everyevery. The recycling is a very busy building, but the great upper management never saw it that way. Trust me and run away from this company. Chris if u do read this review, you are a terrible person and all the drivers can not stand you.

They were very friendly and quick to unload. Would deliver here again.

Litttle pay no breaks or lunch breaks and exspect a whole lot from there helpers worse job I ever had unfortunately...

Arrived 4pm
Gate was open I went to assigned parking area for waiting or delivering trucks
Very pleasant place for waiting

they have overnight parking ....the dude at the receiving was cool I don't know why anybody have a problem .. Unless you're an ass-hole truck driver..if u have a appreciate it will be a hour more to get unloaded from your time..

A good place for delivery very quickly unloaded 20 minutes of everything, the main thing is parking ...

Check in for delivery by internet. Not bad at all, fast unloading. 15 minutes waiting for phone and 30 min unloading.

Small parking lot for semis recv 5-10pm. In winter no salt on ground .snow 5-8 inches.

no overnight parking here - I arrived by 11pm - security gate close - I was reading comments about overnight parking - some people said they have parking - I was lucky to met employee he just about to leave - he told me I may park before the gate on shoulder but no inside ...

Where should I start? This beer distributing company is terrible. As I talk to my friends and cousins who own liquor stores , gas stations and bars. Many of them are saying the same thing. They do nothing for the business that they distribute Beer too. I know in our places of business we cannot treat our customers like this. But because Powers distributing is the only one that can distribute Beer Of its kind in Oakland County they feel that they can treat people like this. I will be talking to friends and relatives owners of businesses about this.

Had a load of bottled beer from NJ...which the shipper loaded messed up.. the pallet in the nose had tipped over and ALEX AND ROSSIE helped me to restack the pallet..and then reloaded me the rite way...these two GENTLEMAN where a BLESSING they saved me and my company a major claim....thank you ALEX AND ROSSIE very very much..and the rest of the folks were very friendly and are angels indeskies...

Unloaded in less than an hour, and they have overnight parking next to a beautiful fountain pond
