Dan Werneke is the BEST! He listens to me and my truck, recommends only the maintenance and repair I need, and gets me out the door with my vehicle in the best shape. I changed from the other dealership and service down the street to Gainesville Buick-GMC because of bad service and bad customer service. I made a good choice and tell EVERYONE.

Ms. Kim was most helpful in working with us to obtain the recall repairs needed on our Pontiac. Due to family and hurricane issues, we had to cancel and reschedule several times. She was most understanding and worked to have the repairs completed on September 27th. She is the best.

BUYING AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!

I love this place and I love our salesgirl Kerryn Garcia and Mike Bonn and Brandon in the finance dept!!!

Kerryn and Mike spent 45 minutes past closing for us during our "just want to look at it stage" and answered all our questions with no regards to the time at all. We price shopped on the internet for 5 days looking for the right car with the right options all the while when we would find something and call Kerryn to tell her of an interest we would find and she and Mike did so much to accommodate us. They returned phone calls promply as well. We were so impressed by their perseverance, perfectly balanced though, not at all pushy or overbearing, that we wanted them to find us the right car not anyone else. It was worth our patience to give them the couple of days to have a comparable deal with them as opposed to having to try to find a car elsewhere. They found us a better car at a better deal!! They also gave us great suggestions for accessories for our Acadia to keep it preserved (the Zylon protection I s incredible!) and enhance the value of it...and again..not obtrusive or pushy....the perfect balance!! This was a great transaction and the whole staff there always makes it a great transaction, that's why we go there first and always end up leaving there with our cars..a total of five over the years. Brandon is also patient and outstanding in his field as well making your you understand your contract and warranty properly before you sign. In addition...all staff at this business is so fun friendly and professional, they are all incredibly responsive to kindness and patience and will gladly reciprocate when shown to them. I would never have gone back this many times had it been the latter, they are always are first choice!!!!!! Proud to have them in ""Our clan" and to be in their :Whack pak".............

What a fantastic experience we had today at Gainesville GMC working with Josue O., Al, and Brandon (finance)! They were straightforward, honest, and easy to get answers about our trade in value as well as financing the new car. I appreciate that they gave us all the information (without pressure) in order to make the best decision for us. Thank you for the professionalism and great experience today!! Called the dealership with intent of buying a vehicle. Got a text from a sales rep at 9:30 saying he would call me when he got in at 11. I waited and never got a call. My wife called around 1:30 and was ensured that the truck would be pulled for our 6:30 appointment. I received a call around 3pm staying the truck was being sold. My wife called the rep she spoke with and was told that the other guy put a deposit down about an hour ago yet after I had been calling since 9am I was never offered to put a deposit down which I gladly would have done. Needless to say, they do not hold their word and are untrustworthy. When my wife asked why we not offered to give a deposit knowing that we had been calling all day and filling out all necessary paperwork online, she could not be given an answer. I will not do business with this dealership and do not recommend them.

When you go here, ask for Alex Manning. Very professional, quick witted, and simply provides quaint, pleasant service.

Its tough to explain but sometimes you have really great experiences by chance. Here at this Buick branch, its a staple. They have very genuine employees that truly want to help you. And if you're nervous, ask for Alex, and he'll take care of you. I definitely recommend.

I bought my 2014 Buick Encore from GMC in the beginning of the year, they offered me the most for my trade in than any other place and I lowered my interest over half with them through Fl Credit Union. I've brought my car in twice for the two free oil changes and they've always been fast and friendly. Kim in the service department was great. Thanks GMC. :)

Came in to tour the lot and test drive a car I'd seen online. I've never shopped for a car before so I was a bit nervous before I came in. My salesperson, Law, was awesome! Friendly and thorough in answering all the questions I had. While I wasn't able to find what I wanted that day, I'm glad I made the trip in.
Thanks to Law for making my first time at a dealership a positive one!

Great Buying Experience!

I went to Gainesville GMC with little hope of actually getting financed on a car from a reputable auto dealership. To my surprise, Kurt was able to put me in a very nice nearly new Dodge Avenger with very low miles, a great warranty, and within my budget! From the minute we met, he went to work on getting me a great deal and getting financing for me. Theses guys worked miracles!!
I would highly suggest giving the people at Gainesville GMC a visit if you are in the market for a vehicle. I am confident in saying they will work hard to get you on the road. Be sure to ask for Kurt Amir when you get there.

While there were some questionable moments during the negotiation and with some of the staff; our overall experience with Kevin, Steve, and Scott was outstanding and they will go to any length to ensure the client is satisfied with their purchase. I will gladly purchase another vehicle in the future as long as I am able to work with the incredible team of Kevin, Steve, and Scott.

Well, I had a bad experience here. Salesman only lied through his teeth. Only had permission to run my credit to GMAC and next thing I know, it was run all over the place. Good deals..... I think not, just a get you in here and waste your time. I was supposed to get a call the next day with information on my financing and never heard back from them. But, they were okay illegally running my credit through to banks with out my permission
Ill stick with Ford. At least I always leave Ford in a new car.

PJ was truly a God given gift to my family!! My mom has been in the market for a car for quite some time, but the whole process has been a bit intimidating for her. PJ took time out of his schedule to go over any questions she had, recommend the best car for what she needs, and get her into a car that can take her smoothly into retirement. He went over every feature and just provided some of the best service I have ever seen from a car salesman! Best of all, there were NO GIMMICKS, NO PRESSURE, and NO PROBLEMS! Matt was then able to close the best deal for us and help get my mom into a financial agreement that she can afford. What a great example of teamwork from these two gentlemen!! Gainesville Buick is very blessed to have such pleasant young men on staff. This is the type of service that will keep our family as customers for many years to come! Thank you PJ and Matt!!

The salesperson Kory was fantastic. He was helpful and had a personality that was pleasurable. Brandon in finance did a good overall job and was able to get my wife into a good payment structure at an attractive rate. The only reason it is not a five star is Brandon added three payments to the amount of payments that was understood and talked about all day. When my wife signed the digital paperwork we did not notice the three extra months on the loan, and although she did sign it, we believe it to be disingenuous on Brandon's part. In adding those payments it essentially subtracted the Farm Bureau discount certificate that we submitted.

I had been using the other local GM dealer since I have a Chevy.. I wasn't pleased with there service so I called GMC spoke with Kim she said they would be happy to service it. Thank god! Kim is probably the best service advisor I have ever had. She is professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and doesn't try to up sell you on stuff that you do not need. I will continue to use Gainesville Buick Gmc for my servicing needs.

My accident left my entire passenger tire and cont...

My accident left my entire passenger tire and control arm assembly in pieces. I was afraid that even the best repairs would never let the car feel the same. I was proven wrong by the fine folks in the Collision Center. My 2014 Dodge Challenger 5.7L runs like it did when I first took it for a test drive. The care and workmanship is evident as Mike kept me updated on the process and all changes. While the parts took time to be received, you really cannot fault the repair shop for this as they are at the mercy of the parts dealer. I was happily surprised with the results as the handling and cornering abilities of the vehicle have not diminished. I will and already have recommended the GMC Collision Center to colleagues, friends, and family. Thanks for getting me back on the road!

If you are female alone, DO NOT GO HERE. PLEASE take a male with you, specifically an older male who can negotiate FOR you. There is a creepy old dude with silver hair and looks albino who is the sales manager, would not negotiate with me and my mother. He refused to negotiate even AFTER I saw the car in their lot online for $700 cheaper. He was very rude and creepy, and their customer service sucked. Even if you do take a male with you, I would advise you to TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

I didn t expect nothing less, since USAA only associates itself with businesses that provide excellent customer services like they do. We worked with Matt and Kevin while shopping for a pretty specific vehicle. They were beyond patient, helpful, and a great resource. They found us an amazing truck at an amazing price. They went above and beyond. The entire experience was as stress-free as possible (while making a big purchase) from the shopping to the final paperwork. They also worked with our lender to negotiate a better interest rate than we technically deserved! We felt like they were completely honest with us at all times and did not pressure to purchase anything we didn't need or want. No complaints here!

It's been a while since I bought my car from anoth...

It's been a while since I bought my car from another dealership but I will never forget gmc in Gainesville and the pack of lies and jacked prices. I was a young working man with A 600 credit score. They tried to sell me a car 3000 over retail and they insulted me twice by saying I couldn't do better on interest that 17% at my credit union. When I came back with check they still over priced the car and then told me I could pay it off by bringing in referrals at 100 dollars a pop. They strung the process out over 2 days wasted my time with lies about good prices and working with my budget. If you have a 800 credit score and tons of cash and don't mind getting lied to with a smile maybe it's a good place to shop. Update.. It's now September 2018. It response gmc staff response they say they will make sure they will have staff go over it. Ohh they did and staff called me asking me to take my review down because it could cost them their lively hood. Threatening tones implied but I told him that he should of thought about that before when we were doing business not now that I know he was is nothing more than a liar. Again if your credit score is below 700 go somewhere else they offered me 17% I went to a credit union and got 8%

Overall a good experience. Rotate and balance and intake system cleaning, though when I was checking out I was asked if I noticed my A/C not getting cold recently. I said no and that it has been cold for me and was then told that the compressor is leaking, part has been ordered though it will take 3 days to a week (appointment was at 0715 and used the A/C to get to the dealership [Florida...]). After getting into my truck, the temp was set to LO and it was pumping 80 degree air into the cab. Somewhere between 0715 and when I picked the truck up around 1300, while AT the dealership, the A/C decided to quit working and, being in Florida, that is a real bummer.

Overall, it's always an easy and straightforward experience, especially with Kim Murscoe as an adviser. She is always happy to help and takes care of business.

We had been in the market for a new truck for several months. We had visited other dealerships (even going out of town), but they were not willing to work with us. When we visited Gainesville Buick/GMC, we were met with a totally different experience. My husband had very specific requirements for his work truck and the guys worked hard to find what he wanted and to get it within a price range we were comfortable with. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Kurt, Matt, and Paul were hard-working and did whatever it took to make a sale and make us feel like we made the best choice.

I bought a 2010 Ford Explorer from Gainesville Buick GMC two years ago. The car developed a major engine issue. Upon having it diagnosed, we found out that it would need a new engine. The 15 year,150,000 mile powertrain third party warranty that came free of charge with the vehicle, was not filed two years ago at the purchase date. Warranty company said the dealership is 100% responsible for the repairs, due to the dealership not filing the warranty. Tried calling the dealership and spoke with one very rude sales associate, that so joyfully told me that it wasn't his problem, he wasn't there two years ago! Could never get anyone on the phone that could help, GM not there or in a meeting. Emailed the GM and no answer. Even sent the email certified signature required to the GM, No Answer! The warranty company even tried to contact them, with no response. This business has some major issues. Steer clear here!

Test drove 2 and when i was done my sales person asked if i could meet the sales manager even than though i was in a hurry i agreed just because i was told they would get in trouble . The manager asked me were i worked at and when i told him he preceded to tell me what an awful place i worked at as a hostess/Greeter and that i should not work there which i was kind of offended as i just moved here for school. So i called my father (Who,s last 3 cars have been Buick ) that is coming up from south Florida to help with the purchase of my first car he thought it was in bad taste and so did I , just his whole demeanor was very unprofessional and i felt very uncomfortable so i went on to the next dealership Parks Ford , when i explained what had happened they were very surprised as well.. Anyway Buick Gmc you can thank Al for a lost sale because i would never buy from someone that thinks demining their customers help anyone... Im following up with an email to Gmc Buick inc.

This review is for the Gainesville Buick GMC Collision Center.
Not that I ever wish to be in an accident, but if I am, I want to be near the GCC Team. The service I experienced from the GNV Collision Center and my rep Mike Swineheart is, in a word, outstanding.
I got rear-ended while parked, my first accident, and was completely in the dark as to what to do. Mike and his team took care of things swiftly and efficiently. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and even made follow up calls once the car was released back to me.
Their professional and kind service really put me at ease and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing body work.

Collision Center does a great job. My Acura RSX-S ...

Collision Center does a great job. My Acura RSX-S was in a rear end collision and Alonzo took care of the repair, insurance estimates, rental car scheduling etc. The techs in the shop are highly skilled and very knowledgeable. The rear bumper paint was matched perfectly as well as the fitment to trunk and everything else. I highly recommend Gainesville Collision Center for body repairs.

My experience with the technicians at the dealership was great. They kept me informed and were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They addressed my needs (being without my car for a week) in a timely and satisfactory manner. However, I do not understand why it took a week to get the necessary part (not the dealership s fault).

The initial intake was good but the communication ...

The initial intake was good but the communication throughout the time my vehicle was there was subpar. I had to call to find out what the status was on my vehicle before the representative called me back. I was told it would be ready Friday - and that day came and went with NO CALL. Monday came and they called me at 3pm in the afternoon to say it was ready to go. I showed up at 5:00 to pick up my car and there was nothing but confusion. My keys were not with the final ticket, the mechanical write up was not completed and then the rep asked me "Do you know how much you are supposed to pay?" They had to call the extended warranty company again, call Timothy (original rep) and find my keys which took about 20-30 minutes. Then they explained that all of the repairs were completed including my auxillary port - and it WAS NOT. After I was told at least 3 separate times that had been fixed and was working properly.

And you would think after having my vehicle for a week they might have vacuumed at minimum the driver side - no. So, I left with my main reason for coming not fixed, no mechanical write up completed and frustrated. This was honestly the worst experienced I have had since coming to this dealership and I honestly am not sure if I will return to have the auxillary port fixed.

Poor communication, all mechanical problems not resolved and to make matters worse I had to call back a week later to request the write up as I keep detailed reports when the extended warranty is used. And it still was 3 days later that they sent the write up via email.

I'm not sure what changes have occurred at this location but I'm not pleased with them.

UPDATE: Timothy called me to discuss my experience and promptly scheduled a time to personally come and pick my vehicle up to address my concerns. He apologized on behalf of the GMC dealership and I was very impressed that he took ownership because he was NOT entirely to blame. They were able to get my radio/auxillary issue resolved the same day and made sure that it was no inconvenience to me. Thanks Gainesville GMC & Timothy as we really do trust bringing our family of vehicles to this dealership.

I worked with Christine at this dealership she was knowledgeable with all the vehicles and their features, she worked quickly on pulling vehicles that fit my interest so that I may test drive them. She worked very close alongside finance and secured my sales with great warranties, and gap. I was very impressed on how well she communicated with me via email and over the phone. I love my car and I would definitely work with her again and this dealership! Thank you so much

I am a life-long customer. Gainesville Buick GMC has earned my trust by offering transparency, honest prices, and excellent customer service every experience I've had with them.

I bought a used Buick Lacrosse that came with a 10 year/100K mile warranty. I haven't found another dealership to offer such a generous warranty on a used car.

This dealership has serviced my Buick since I bought it and I have no complaints.
1. I was in a rear-end collision and the body shop brought her back to like-new condition without issue (insurance work).
2. On one occasion I needed my computer reset because the seat position wasn't programming like it should. On another occasion I needed my sunroof screen repaired because it was sagging. The service area never gave me any issues and I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket (warranty work).
3. I take both my Buick and Silverado (diesel) here for routine maintenance. Matt A. (because he has a German last name that I can't spell) is my go-to service advisor. He is absolutely fantastic! He always has a smile on his face, never recommends any services that aren't needed, and gets me in and out quickly. This dealership seriously has the best prices in town. $40-50, depending on if I have a coupon, gets me a full synthetic oil change for my Buick. You just can't beat that!

Nick did an amazing job selling us our new family car after we were rear ended and had our traverse totaled. From the time I clicked request info from dealer to the time we drove off the lot in our new suburban, Nick dedicated all his time and effort in getting me the best deal. We had to drive from Jacksonville to purchase a vehicle because Nick was the only salesman that I encountered that actually cared about what I needed in all of northeast Florida and made the most effort to get me the best deal. We have peace of mind with the lifetime warranty also (which was another big reason we made the drive from Jax). All around a great experience after a bad situation that left us on the hunt for the perfect vehicle for a family of 5. If I can send anyone that way to buy a car I will!!

The Gainesville Buick GMC dealership has been grea...

The Gainesville Buick GMC dealership has been great from the sale of my 2016 Acadia to the servicing required when the transmission malfunctioned.

The salesman Lorenzo was beyond helpful and courteous, I felt the manager of the dealership gave me a fair overall deal for my trade in and pricing my current Acadia.

The service people called to update me before I had a chance to call and ask how things were going. Kim kept me up to speed on how my car was doing the entire way until my car was ready to go. The dealership even provided a loaner car because my car was so new and still under warranty.

I am concerned about the quality of GMC's internal parts given my car had just over 10,000 miles when the transmission had a problem, and it would have been nice to get a loaner car similar to the one we purchased because we have six children and they do not all fit in a Buick sedan. Those are my only two concerns, but neither of those have anything to do with anyone at the dealership and other than that I am quite satisfied.

When I first bought my car from here everyone seemed so nice, but as I went in and waited for repairs multiple times, the atmosphere got a bit creepy. I'd have the order car salesman come up and sit right next to me on the sofa they have in the waiting area and just look at me and ask some personal questions, I got shuttled back to my home and the salesman that took me back kept saying I was pretty and reminded him if his daughter (in a creepy way) and touched my hair without my permission. I'm not saying anyone had ill intent or anything like that, the place just plain got creepy to the point where I didn't even want to take my car in anymore. It's a shame, because the man that sold me the car I have now was super nice but after that I never saw him when I went in and waited on repairs. They also keep calling over and over wanting to buy the car we bought back from me to sell me a new car...I keep telling them that unless they plan on giving me a new car for free AND buying the old one I won't budge...but that hasn't even deterred them. It's just plain weird over there.

EDIT: AVOID THIS PLACE! Don't buy a car here I've been being harassed by these people for the past like, 2+ years and no matter what I ask or say they won't leave me alone! If this continues, I'm going to look into hiring a lawyer to sort this out because it's ridiculous. It's like a crazy ex that just won't stop stalking you. I'm currently looking into who would be in charge of that area (like corporate or something) and contacting them. Unless you want a lifetime of harassment go buy a car somewhere else.

COLLISION CENTER. Minor damage, had trunk replaced. New trunk leaked, I went in to have it checked and they said it was ok. After my third time going there they kept my car for a day and claimed to fix it, well they didn't because it still leaks. Too much hassle to go back a 4th or 5th time, I'll fix it myself.

Ps- my car gets 40mpg and the loaner they gave me got 14mpg

I would like to share with you the wonderful experience I had last Monday, when I went to this car dealership with two very good friends of mine. One of my friends was looking for an SUV that would have all the bells and whistles, or as they say in this field, a Fully Loaded SUV. We spent a good part of the afternoon going to other car dealerships in town, where the service and attention to a new customer wasn t what you would expect, to be honest it was tiresome and frustrating. However, one salesman at the Chevrolet car dealer was good, he just didn t have the SUV that my friend wanted. We went to the Gainesville Buick GMC Car Dealership, where Liana Rabinovich was the sales expert that promptly greeted us and started working with my friend to hopefully find the car that he wanted. After a few questions Liana started coming up with a list of vehicles to start showing my friend. To my surprise the first vehicle she showed him was the one that he had been thinking of. It was a beautiful fully loaded Terrain Denali. The deal went over very smoothly, and the manager Brian Rundle was flexible, fair, and helpful. He was able to help my friend out by lowering the vehicle s price as much as he possible could. Then, even though my friend was pre-approved with his primary bank, their finance specialist Josue Ostolaza, offered his help to better an already good interest rate. He did his magic and sure enough, he found a better rate for my friend s vehicle deal. While all that was going on, their service team was washing and cleaning the SUV for my friend to ride home in his beautiful Denali. I was impressed with their overall service, their sales expert Liana was attentive, fast, and kind. She listened to what my friend was looking for and delivered the vehicle that he is now driving as his.

I purchased a used 2012 Terrain here in 2015 only...

I purchased a used 2012 Terrain here in 2015 only to find out its an lemon, ever since I had truck almost every month I paying for repairs, the 1st time was a week after purchase. Their service department looked at it twice as it keep shutting down on me never fixed problem. Just patched up ,so I would keep the car. I went back home to Jacksonville and problems again arrived,so Key Buick GMC looked at it found out it was the battery and battery cable. I quickly informed salesman Mang. And of course no responses to emails nor call backs until I posted on their Utube channel. Then had to fax information also sent pictures kept calling and was told I had to change my review to something positive to be reimbursed until they finally paid for service. The customer service is awful and service department the technicians sucks they need more training. I'll never ever buy or recommend ANYONE to this dealership the purchase has been a nightmare from hell. I have had better used cars from buy here pay here dealers in my younger days, also as I'm writing this review the check engine light is on and again it has not been a year since I purchased vehicle.

I bought my car and 4 days into having it i got a flat tire without hitting anything or causing any known damage. I brought my car in and they told me they wouldnt cover my tire. I had to leave in tears before Kim said theyd jist give me a new tire anyway. Then the tire pressure message wouldnt turn off for 2 months until I called and asked about it getting fixed. Whoever Martha is (I'm almost positive this is who answered the phone) hung up on me when I told her I didn't want to leave my name and number for the service department to get back to me. She said that she could do that or nothing at all. Jessie is awesome though she turned my frown upside down. But anyway the business here is just messy & unprofessional from workers yelling in the waiting room for "tire pressures" and "where are the keys to that 2011 gmc blah?" Overall unsatisfied with the service but this is the place my dealership (mitsubishi) sent me to for my car.

We really appreciated Kevin Benson's relaxed low pressure approach to facilitating our buying a car. He was very informative and supportive but gave us the time and space we needed to make our final decision. We had already dealt with a lot of dealers prior to our arrival at G'ville Buick and it is unfortunate that there is reason for the general wariness a lot of us have for people selling cars. Kevin was a welcome antidote to all that for us. We ended up buying a 2017 Subaru Impreza hatchback with less than 5k miles on it for a very fair price. He also helped us with our trade in a way that made the process smooth, and about as un-stressful as a large purchase can be. The only thing that had us choose 4 over 5 stars is we did get a little of the "what will it take to buy today" routine on our first visit, but not from Kevin. All the other folks we dealt with were friendly and professional too, but if we go back to buy another vehicle we'll ask for Kevin.
