This was my 3rd visit to the Service Department within the last six months and I am COMPLETELY happy with how I was treated and how quickly my vehicle was repaired. Although my visits were for minor issues, my Service Advisor, Kim, treated me as if my issue, and I, were as important as anyone else. During my most recent visit, I thought I'd try out the on-site auto detailing service that's available. WOW! When I picked up my vehicle it looked AMAZING! SO MUCH MORE was done during the detail that what I've paid more for at my usual detailer. I hope not to have to return anytime soon, but I'll at least be back for the detailing service! I'm loving Gainesville GMC!

I started my journey about 3 weeks ago looking for a car for my wife. I knew we wanted an Enclave and called all over the state of Florida to see if someone had exactly what we wanted....Mike was able to find it and get me a great price.

My experience was awesome.....a lot of the other dealers were not as nice and I'm glad to be doing business with Gainesville Buick & GMC.

UPDATE FROM LAST YEAR - Service"

Looking through Netflix the other night I stumbled onto a show called Chef . One particular episode was about the Food Critic/Writer Johnathan Gold. During the episode to honor this famous food critic there were comments on his method of reviewing restaurants. He just showed up, ordered the food and ate it. If he liked it he d write a review on it. If he wrote a good review, people would flock to the location based on his review. IF he did not like the food, he simply got up, left and didn t say or write anything about the restaurant or the food. His reason for this was because he worked in the food industry, he knew how hard and difficult it was to run and cook in a restaurant. He didn t want his negative review to stop anyone from going to any restaurant based on his one time visit. SAME GOES WITH MY RECENT SERVICE VISIT EXCELLENT AND MORE EXCELLENT. Paul took my order and wrote up but Kim took care of me. I wish every bit of customer service I get was like this.

This sales team will never change, a complete bunch of crooks trying to rip off anyone they can. Told there was a new GM but he would not talk to me I know he was there in his office pointing and waving arms around to employees and yelling like he was directing traffic, must be a real pleasant place to work with someone like that. After over 30 minutes of waiting for him I left and purchased a car down the street where they spoke to me and answered all my questions with good trade.

Was a pleasant experience was not pressured much but you still got to put up with the tactics used and pressure when signing agreement. Although, it was a good environment and staff helped keep you comfortable. I did get a very nice truck, thank you!

First time I scheduled my car for a pontiac recall...

First time I scheduled my car for a pontiac recall for the airbags. I came in the day of my appointment, was told it would take 2 hours and they would call me when it was done. I didn't get a call, and when I called at the end of the day, I was told that my car hadn't even been moved because they didn't have the part and it would take a WEEK to get the part (even though I scheduled my appointment a week out, and told them what I was coming for). The service manager agreed to drive to drop my car to my house, and said that they would let me know when the part came in. A MONTH went by, no call or email. I called and was told I would get a call back with more info, no call back. So an additional notice of recall came in the mail, and this time I called the help phone number, after talking with this very nice lady, I was connected with a not-so-nice lady who worked at the location I had been to before who told me I had received calls and emails telling me the parts came in (which I hadn't, and I checked). Anyway, I scheduled another appointment, I came in and everyone I interacted with was rude (the first appointment day, a very respectful and courteous member of staff helped me). A couple of hours later I got my car back, but no multi point inspection check which I had signed for. I would never go back and I am trying to sell my car, because if they are the only place in my area who can service my car, I'll get a new one.

I had made an appointment today to get a used car. When I got there the guy went to go get the keys and he came back and said they are selling it right now to another guy. Mind you I came an hour and a half for an APPOINTMENT and cash in hand for particular car. Then offered me more expensive vehicles way out of my $range. Sincerely Not a happy customer.

I had and Oil change and tire rotation and on a road trip the next day I had a tire that had low tire pressure. I stopped to put air in my tire because according to my dash my left front tire needed air. I got back onto I75 and found out a few miles down the road it was my left rear tire that needed air. When they rotated my tires they didn't reprogram the sensors to reflect the rotation. This caused delays in my trip. Improperly inflated and overinflated tires and a hassle that was not needed. I am not pleased with my service as my daughter and I were alone on I75 at 9pm at night and this also posed a safety concern having to stop multiple times to put air in tires and figure out their method of rotation. I called back Saturday 2/11 to speak to a manager and the girl who answered for service very rudely told me they closed soon and there was no one there. I asked when someone would be back in to speak with and her response was ... uhhh Mondayyyyy. Needless to say I will likely not be returning to this dealership for service on my vehicle.

I recently purchased my first (used) car from Gainesville Buick GMC. The experience was a pleasure every step of the way. Brent Russell helped me first; he was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to my concerns as I got to know the car and took the test drive. There were some very minor flaws with the vehicle I was interested in, but once I decided to purchase it, the staff bent over backwards to get those fixed ASAP. Robbie Bratcher was an excellent help throughout the purchasing process. He worked with me through all the paperwork, answered all my questions, and even helped me get situated in my new car. I was in and out of the dealership in no time. Even after I drove the car off the lot, he made sure to keep in prompt touch with me to get one last issue resolved. Everyone I worked with was extremely professional and accommodating. I highly recommend Gainesville Buick GMC to anyone looking for an awesome buying experience!

The Entire Staff was Excellent!!

I would highly recommend Gainesville Buick GMC to anyone. Their service reps are intuitive, respectful, and honest. I had a wonderful time doing business with Kurt Amir. After a week of me being extremely picky about the car I wanted he found me vehicle that exceeded my expectations. The price of the car was amazing but the deal clincher for me was Kurt himself. He made me feel that his top priority was not to sell a car but instead it was to make me walk away from the dealership as a happy customer. I have purchased five vehicles in my short lifetime and Kurt Amir is by far the most refined and customer friendly sales rep I have ever dealt with!!

I would like to thank the entire Gainesville Buick GMC staff for the wonderful car buying experience once again. I will certainly be doing business with you guys in the future and I will also do my best to refer customers to this wonderful car dealership!!

Originally was happy with my used car purchase. Alex Manning did a great job, highly recommend.
But unfortunately after only owning the vehicle for less than a week and one tank fill. I had a big radiator problem of which Gmc and Buick of Gainesville were willing to do nothing about. Besides make a recommendation as to where to get it fixed, easily costing me another 400$. After just purchasing the vehicle that does not sit well with me and is very bad business.
So for those looking to purchase I recommend new only. Or have a good mechanic thoroughly look over the vehicle first.

I was really pleased with the service and care I got at Gainesville Buick GMC. Most of the time, car dealerships try to take advantage of me since I am a female, and I did not feel that was the case here. I had a motor issue with my GMC Canyon and took it in. Ian in customer service was upfront about a recall on the cylinder head and told me about it before the mechanics even got under the hood. The problem was in fact the cylinder head recall and GMC covered the whole repair and my rental for a couple days. Honestly, I had no clue about the recall and he could have told me I had to pay for the $2,000+ repair- which I am sure that some dealerships try to do to some people.

Also, the estimated time to diagnose the problem was accurate and I was not waiting in the lounge all day. The time to fix the problem was accurate as well, and from what I understand, replacing the cylinder head can be a lengthy process.

Probably the most important part of my review is I told Ian that I asked for them to change the oil while they were working on my truck. Ian told me that since they were replacing the cylinder head, an oil change was included with the recall. Again, he could have just said ok and got another $40 out of me.

Also, when I turned in my rental, Enterprise was so busy, they did not have someone to drive me to the dealership, and Ian got someone to pick me up in the company van. When all was said and done and I had my truck back, they stayed open to finish my transaction about 40 minutes after closing, on a Friday night, for a transaction that did not make them any money whatsoever.

Overall, I am beyond pleased with the service I received at Gainesville GMC and I would not hesitate to take my truck there again for any issue- big or small.

I recently purchased a used Tahoe from Gainesville Buick and GMC. We closed the deal online and I went to pick it up the next day. We loved the truck and brought it home happy with our new purchase. After having the truck for a week or so we noticed a problem with the belt slipping and we also found a leak around the tailgate of the truck. I brought the matter to the attention of this dealerships management and they were more than accomodating. They covered the expense of replacing the belt and tensioner. They also invited me back in to the dealership to have them look at the leak issue. Since this particular dealer was 2 hours from my home, I asked if there was a way to coordinate through a dealership down here. Luckily another Morgan Automotive Group dealer was right near my house. I took it in to Ford of Port Richey where they fixed the leak for me. They even paid for a rental car while the Tahoe was being repaired.

Many dealers would've turned their nose up at a customer post-purchase when bringing up vehicle issues, especially on a used car, but Gainesville Buick GMC and the Morgan Auto Group took great care of me and went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone. This kind of customer service is rare and when you find it, you must give them your business. It's worth it! PLUS...they gave me a great price and hooked it up with an amazing finance rate. I would buy from these guys again and again.

I typically DREAD the entire process of buying a new car- from the moment I step foot on the car lot. Gainesville Buick GMC- and PJ Knipp specifically- changed my outlook on this. PJ is the most straight-forward and genuine salesman that I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and he made this entire process as quick and painless as possible. He was honest with me from the start- never once feeding me the line of bull that I had come to expect from car salesmen. For that, he earned my respect immediately, and he will have my loyalty as a customer. He went out of his way for me from start to finish on our deal- and even after the deal was done. I would recommend PJ and Gainesville Buick GMC hands down - the best car buying experience in Gainesville. Matt Kynard was also informative, super helpful, and pleasant to work with on the finance end- further convincing me that I had made the right choice in Gainesville Buick GMC.

Made appointment online for my vehicle to be serviced. Arrived at dealership and made contact with service advisor Kim. Vehicle was checked in and I was able to wait in customer lounge for service to be completed. Kim kept me advised of the progress of the repair.
After service was completed, Kim went over some repairs that might need to be done in the future. Price was great. Want to thank Kim for the great service. Highly recommend Gainesville Buick GMC.

We found the perfect Arcadia at this dealership. There was a misprint on the price of it and I really didn't think we'd close the deal. But our salesman called in his manager Frank and we worked really hard to make a deal. After we got done with finance, the payment was a little higher than we agreed upon and Frank had left to go home, but we loved the car so much we went through with the deal. After Frank returned to work on Monday and found out what had happened he called me and asked what he could do justify the difference in payment. We again were able to make a deal. He was very determined to make me happy and wants me to be a return customer. It may have not been a perfect deal but they definitely wanted to go the extra mile to make me happy and get my return business.

Great service!! Neil, Kyle and Frank are the best! Couldn't be happier with our new ride!!!
Edit: (5 star to 4 star) I posted this before I worked with John the finance associate. I didn't buy his warranty plan because I had the dealer warranty still in place. The conversion became very unprofessional, rude and condescending. "We have to move along because I have other customers to deal with." We almost got up and left. My wife was floored. If Frank had not already bent over backwards for us, John would have been a deal breaker. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was the worst I have been treated by a business professional in years. But again, the vehicle is outstanding and our service up to that point was awesome!

Excellent sales team! Melivin got us the deal that we wanted with our terms. There was no push to buy the truck, we felt as though they wanted to help us find the truck that we wanted and that was a best fit for our needs !!! After the sale, there were some issues that came up with the truck that could not have been foreseen. The sales team including Melvin and his manager Andrew made sure things were completed and done right in a timely manner to get us back on the road. They even gave us a SUV to drive for the mean time. If you look at the other reviews you can see that this team really cares and really works hard to make things right and you happy! That s what made me go here and you should too! You won t be disappointed! We will be back to buy our second car or truck! We really liked the SUV we were loaned, might even buy it!=Justin & Melissa

Richard was GREAT! My wife and I live about 2 hours away and we found the minivan we liked and Richard did everything he could to get us in it that day even stayed late after closing. They were also very patient with us having our 1 and 2y.o. with us which they can be a handful when your trying to sign/going over a bunch of paperwork. The overall all experience was excellent would definitely recommend them and Richard

I honestly hate giving this dealership one star. I bought my car on August 28th , 2015.. Within a week of having the car I had to get a Transmission Communication Module replaced. I fought with service for 3 weeks to even get it fixed. Also the cigarette lighter in the car hasn't worked since I bought the car. I've brought this up to them three times and they haven't done anything. I was contacted to come in 10/9 and went in on 10/10. They promised me a full tank of gas for inconvenience, the cigarette lighter fixed, an oil change, and the plastic guard on the front of my car fixed. I go there to hear that a loan they told me was solid fell through, and if they couldn't make a new one I would lose my car. I haven't heard anything from them since 10/10. I work two jobs with 70+ hours in a week. I can't afford to lose my only means for transportation.... I am so stressed with this dealership I promise if my car gets taken away I will get a lawyer and I wont come back

Found a vehicle I was interested in on the internet and sent in a inquiry. Within minutes Mike Bonn had responded. He continued to correspond with me over the next 30-45 minutes answering all my questions and getting me set up with pre-approval for a vehicle. We set up a time for Sat for me to come down and look at the vehicle...of course I was late but Mike was very helpful and had the car pulled out for me already. Test drove it but wasn't exactly what I wanted so he quickly got me into the vehicle I ended up bringing home. The dreaded paperwork started but I was very pleased at how helpful and pleasant the experience was. Brian and Mo worked on the financial end and we were complete with everything much quicker than I had expected. I told them a time I needed to be done and they made it happen! Thank you guys for a great experience! We will be back to see you!

If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. I was treated totally unprofessionally the entire time my car was here. From not answering the phone or returning phone calls to blatantly lying about the status of the work being done on my car, I am totally dissatisfied with my experience here. Additionally, my complaints were only taken seriously when I had my father call and explain the situation to them even though I am a full-grown woman.
My car was initially held for one week where I called each day only to be told that my car would be ready later that day and never received a phone call. Finally on the last day I was told that the person in charge of working on my car had been laid off and my car had been sitting untouched in the lot all week. The work was then completed that day and my car was returned to me. After driving my car for two days, the same exact problem returned and I took the car back to the dealership where my car remained for over a week being worked on. I finally have my car back and will never return to this dealership because of how unprofessionally I was treated. I would rather pay more money at another place than have to ever deal with this place again.

UPDATE: I received my vehicle back Friday. Monday night while driving home, the car would not shift out of first gear (not fun, kinda scary, considering was I getting onto the on-ramp on I-75). They said they can t figure out the issue so the car is being transferred to the Kia dealership due to a transmission issue from the repair.

COLLISION CENTER REVIEW: 15 years of living outside of town and I finally hit a deer. So frustrating! My insurance partners with the GAINESVILLE GMC BUICK Collision Center for repairs so I opted to just make life easier and go with them. I am SO HAPPY I did! My repairs took only 2 weeks (which, anyone who has had repair done knows that is quick!). They completed my car earlier than their original estimated completion date which was perfect because we have a trip to St. Augustine this weekend and I was not looking forward to that trip in a tiny rental car. Not to mention, they were friendly. Geez, that s extremely hard to come by these days but every single person I came in contact with through this process just nice, beautifully nice. Thank you so much for a great experience in what could have been very stressful!

I started my search by looking at the inventory on...

I started my search by looking at the inventory online, found a car I liked and called the dealership to make sure it was available before going in. I had a very pleasant conversation with Kurt and told him that I would be in shortly to look at what was available. I arrived and was immediately greeted by a very charming salesman. He introduced himself and our initial conversation was to just be upfront, honest, and have a 'no holds barred' interaction. We both agreed to do that and it was one of the best customer and sales service I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Kurt went way above and beyond to make absolutely sure that I left the dealership completely happy and satisfied with my purchase. Kurt got Paul involved and the two of them went thru the list of vehicles that met my specificities in regards to likes, amenities and financial obligation.
I cannot say enough about this wonderful salesman who made an inedible impression upon my 86 year old mother who was very involved in making this deal become a reality. We were both treated with the utmost respect and customer care. It was truly obvious that the team was not just trying to make a sale but were doing all they could from the heart to gain a friend and customers for life. Kurt succeeded in making that happen. Mike made sure that all the paperwork was ready and instead if it being a long drawn out process of signing paper after paper; he explained in great detail what was required, what we were signing and was engaging, smiling and friendly in spite of the lateness of the hour.
It would be remiss of me to forget to mention the young attendant that in spite of having to go to a very important function and was running late, took my car, washed and cleaned it to please me. I thank you!
It has been two days since I have become the very proud owner of my 2012 VW Passat SE and I have had quite a few compliments! I have already referred 4 people to go by the dealership and ask for Kurt, tell him I sent you and be forthright and honest about your situation. He is honest, friendly and will do his very best to help you.
Kurt has called me every day to make sure that everything is OK and the car is performing as it should. That's customer service and care that is above and beyond the norm. This dealership has gained a customer and I am going to make sure that all my friends and acquaintances know where to go to get a great car at a very fair price, awesome and unbeatable customer service and care, gain a few more friends and all with Satisfaction GUARANTEED!

I am truly grateful and my sincere thanks to all of you that made my experience a remarkable one!

The entire staff there, especially Josue and Scott (finance), held my hand the entire way. I am beyond happy with the decision I made and know it's he right choice without a doubt. First, go look at the 1 star reviews , they are mostly service related. I'm not going to waste your time telling the long version. My wife went in for a free oil change that she won and was sold services she didn't need and told I requested them when I made the appointment. Don't let them swindle you. I contacted them after the fact and they where basically unapologetic. Good luck if you choose to use them.

I texted and emailed about this incident. You responded via text with no apology and basically blamed my wife. Then AFTER I wrote this negative review you called and tried to offer me a free oil change to make it right and specifically asked me to take down the review. Again, you offered no semblance of an apology and doubled down blaming my wife with an outright lie. Your version of what happened is not slightly different from hers but grossly.

I would highly recommend you take your vehicle somewhere else even for a simple oil change.

He was very polite and helpful. He got my info and immediately my truck was being serviced. I was in and out in a vershort time. Great group of people!

Very Nice

Mike Bonn was very nice to work with. I told him what I wanted before I went in, and he researched it for me. He narrowed it down to two vehicles, one of which we bought. Once the deal was complete, he showed us everything we needed to know about the vehicle before we drove off in it. I had to bring it back for a minor seat belt issue, and he personally handled it when I got there. It was great working with Mike.

I purchased a 2018 Yukon here in Gainesville I live in Ocala I called the gmc in ocala, I told the lady salesman that answered that I was interested in a particular 2017 GMC Yukon and if there wasn t I asked if it was possible for her to search for one nearby. She said she would look into yet clearly she wasnt interested in her sales cause she never called back. I noticed I was being ignored so I proceeded to call The Gainesville location and I was greeted by Al Hunter, from the get go he answered all my questions and showed interest, although they didn t have one in stock either, he did explain my options. I must say I had a specific idea and wanted certain options in my truck so he proceeded to order one for me. He did advice it would take several months but with him going beneath and beyond in every step of the way, with a phone call every week with a new update even if it was the same as the previous week, he would still call to follow up, he gave me that peace of mind I needed. And now I can finally say I have received my truck!! He had previously explained every detail before we ordered it yet that didn t stop him from explaining every Feature in it today as well! I don't regret driving 45 min to Gainesville for Al Hunter. Anyone looking for a specific car or truck, Al is the guy you need to call! Service members be aware. I have had a series of issues with this dealership and at this point I have reached my limit. I leased a vehicle and was called to service in another country in Jan. I turned the vehicle in as directed with a copy of my orders. I was told that the vehicle would be grounded and I don't have anything to worry about. Here I am in April and now GM financial is requesting payment for a vehicle I don't have because the dealership has yet to submit the information. I have even taken time to call both GM in Gainesville, FL and GM financial to resolve this issue. It is still unresolved with threat of damaging my credit. I don't know what else to do. I have done everything in my power to help resolve this issue but I am at a disadvantage due to my service.

Always quick to respond when arriving at dealership. Kim is a great service advisor and she makes sure you re kept up to date as service progresses on your vehicle. Have always brought my Yukon XL here since new and have never been disappointed

Buyer Beware!! You'll find the stereotypical dishonest, lying sales staff here that will not provide direct answers to simple questions. They will say anything they need to close a deal including hiding the truth about the vehicles history.

Management will not take or return your calls when you try to discuss the issue with them.

I have one or two dealerships I do business with on a regular basis when I find one that deals honestly and fairly. I was hoping to find that kind of relationship in FL but it won't happen at Gainesville GMC. I will never make another purchase here. Should have went to my trusted dealers out of state for my truck purchase. I highly regret doing business with Gainesville GMC.

After looking at 3 other dealers the same day I ended up here at Gainesville Buick GMC. I showed up on a Saturday right around 5:30 to look at a pre owned Chevy pickup. The salesman Kevin was great and worked with me on everything I asked. Got a great deal on a beautiful truck and they gave me a great interest rate.

Yes, I did visit here 3 years ago on 39 Avenue & Main Street in Gainesville, FL; and I really did not feel I would ever go back there. They were so pushy and rude - that I walked out. I have never been hustled so much in my life. People deserve to learn all that they can about a product and then go home and think it over before investing in an item that is so costly. Plus, automotive dealers need to respect the fact that individuals also, need time to compare prices.

Sales dept is the most shady bunch of people you could ever meet, ask to talk to the manager and he comes out and sweet talks you with his eyes closed and smiles like you are his best friend. Wanted to rip us off by something like 3000 dollars when I had printouts of what other places told me, I dont think I will be buying anything from this place with such a shifty manager.

They are more worried about taking your money than actually helping. First they want you to pay for a part and then wait until it is time for you to bring your car in to let you know the part is back ordered. I took my car there Monday morning around 8, and waited ALL day for a call to pick up my car, NOTHING. I went to pick it up around 5, the service guy said the part for my car was back ordered, which was oredered and PAID for the Wednesday before. Very unprofessional of the for not letting someone know ahead of time that the part was unavailable. I called Mitsubishi of Jacksonville to look for the same part and the guy there let me know right then that the part wasn't available and not only did he said it was out of stock, he also let me know how long it will take for the part to arrive. I couldn't/didn't get that from the Gainesville crew.

I referered a friend because I was told I would receive 100 dollars for the reference and I called three times in the past 6 months and I still have not gotten my money. I could have sent 3 more people that have purchased vehicles but I did not cause they didn't stand behind their word

The knowledge of PJ was outstanding and never failed to give us an answer or comparison statistics when we asked. He was not only knowledgeable but friendly and comfortable to be around. He was never pushy which turns so many people off when dealing with car salesmen.

Also, Matt Kynard was efficient in his handling of the paper work and well educated in the finance area. He informed us of the items he thought would be of interest to add to our vehicle and he hit each one right on the nose.

An outstanding experience in purchasing our latest vehicle and we know we will be doing business with this dealership for many years to come.

I found a car online and went in to look at it. My salesperson, Robbie Bratcher, was very upfront and honest with me. It was an exceptionally easy and pleasant experience. He was very friendly and talkative through the entire process. Brandon, the finance manager, was also very amiable and worked extensively to give me a great deal and APR even for a first time buyer. My response to the satisfaction text: No I'm not happy I feel robbed.. I feel like after y'all make the sale you don't care about the customers. I was getting constant messages and phone calls when I was looking to purchase the car but after I purchased the car everybody busy and all I here is a bunch of I'm sorry and send me back and forth through dealerships . I've had my car just 3 weeks and I've already spent 4 days in a dealership with issues about this car. The issues are minor yet I shouldn't have to take off from work or spend countless hours in a service department when I just purchased the car . 2 different issues in a week time frame. it's has rained in my car but nobody cares it minor and my warranty will cover it .. but no one understands my frustration . No I'm not satisfied. There customer service is great until you purchase a lemon . I say go to a real dealership!

I purchased a vehicle from Gainesville GMC two weeks ago, and while the buying process was easy and I received wonderful help from Al, ever since I have been less than pleased with the company. Not even two weeks into owning the vehicle, there have been two things that I have found wrong with my vehicle. I have tried to make contact with this location several times, wasted hours of my day in the waiting room (twice) for a part that was evidentially really quick and simple to fix, and rarely hear back when I try to figure out how to resolve the issue.

Had I known this was going to be the experience I would have after purchasing the vehicle, I would of chosen a different location to buy from. Definitely do not recommend!
