We have had nothing short of a great customer service experience from the Toyota of El Cajon Service Department. Starting with our service adviser Josh Taylor, his manager Jeff Anderson and his director Jeremy Cadwell, every interaction was pleasant and courteous. Even though we had many manufacturer issues outside of warranty, they were quick to advocate for us to get everything resolved and fixed to the best to their ability and at the best price point they could. We highly recommend Toyota of El Cajon for all your service needs. They are honest, reliable and totally trustworthy.

After going to a couple of other Toyota dealers to diagnose a major issue with my older Landcruiser with 310K miles, they were able to identify the issue and recommend and complete the repairs with genuine Toyota parts. This issue would have resulted in sudden loss of the braking system if uncorrected.

I was very impressed with their listening to my concerns and preferences for this restoration of two of the vehicle s major systems as well as replacing several drive train seals that were worn out and leaking. Each detail was explained to me, including alternatives, ahead of time. The process took about 10 days and I was informed of the progress by my assigned service manager, Josh, including some more minor issues requiring correction. at each point I was informed and my consent obtained. The quality of the work was obvious in driving the vehicle afterward and in the assurance that genuine Toyota parts were used for the restoration.

My girlfriend and I purchased our first truck together from Ryan Darby. He took his time to not just search for the specific model with all the options we were looking for but he worked to get it down from another dealership in Los Angeles. He was patient, thorough and honest. I would recommend Ryan to anyone in search of a Toyota. Gary Guinn also closed out our purchasing experience on a good note. It wont be my last visit to this dealership. Im actually looking forward to my first maintenance check.

Internet sales Kong is very rude and will not even bother if he feels you dont meet his standards, and will tell you oh no we cant help you without even trying.

Gio was great, It was me and my gf's first time buying a new car and I couldn't be happier with the service.

As a young couple, I was weary of being scammed or being upsold. Gio was a young guy my age and didn't force us to anything and we made the choice's on what we wanted. It felt like he was a friend instead of salesperson.

I felt like I was in the driver seat the whole time, he even ran the finance numbers in front of us and I was able to get a better deal through my bank and he let us go with the better route with no fuss.

The customer service and environment really nice and comfortable to wait while getting my car serviced. My last visit Elgasio and was super professional. This visit Simon helped me and he was very quick and professional as well.

Simo helped me at the service desk and was so patient and honest. I m 8 months pregnant and he made sure I was comfortable and had a ride home where I could rest while me car was being worked on. He also called to give me an update on what work needed to be done on my car. Thanks for making my family car safe and reliable.

So disappointed the way the staff handled the end lease of my LE Camry 2017 which I had back in 2016, the lease is ending Sept 07, approx. a month ago I went to Toyota of El Cajon to check my options for the lease renewal, 1st visit with Chris was bad, on the 2nd visit I met with Mamodou, we made agreement on a deal for $/month no down payment for a Corolla 2020 LE with a premium package which I remember it had a powered driver seat because I asked for such a feature. I signed the papers and we were up to close the deal. when suddenly with a blink of an eye everything was changed, Marwan came out saying that my credit score would not allow the renewal and I need a co-signer, I said but I didn't miss any payment for the last 3 years, not even late payment or whatsoever, he replied I cant do anything about it, its Saturday, TFS must approve it and now its too late they are closed therefore we have to wait till Monday, so we left with no deal, next day I called TFS, they confirmed I have no delinquencies on the record, they added its up to the dealer to find a way to make it happen, returned back home and had a chat with the wife since she's the one driving the car and we decided to hold on the deal and wait for the Camry 2020 which supposedly to come out some time of October, so I called TFS and asked for lease extension on my current Camry, granted extension for 6 more months.

3 weeks passed, we felt we don't want to wait for the Camry so we went back, we were informed by Mazen and Khalil that Marwan was the one gave us SUCH deal, he's on vacation now, come back later or call when he is back, after several calls and non responses to the messages, I went back for the 3d time with my daughter as a co-signer thinking to close the corolla deal, the answer was they no longer have the paperwork!, so they started another file and everything seemed going smooth until Mazen said we don't have the corolla 2020 LE with premium package in our yard and we gotta find one from other dealers!, once we find one will call you, then got back home, Marwan called saying he gotta check something and he will get back me, guess what? he never did, then Mazen texted me with a message saying I must put $2000 down then he added check with Marwan tomorrow, apparently as I put it all together they were bluffing all the time just to back off the deal, I called Marwan for the last time and as expected he did not answer nor replied to my voice message!!!

So frustrated the way I was treated, not sure what kind of show they were putting there?, and what would the owners do about it?, probably nothing since the business is going good, and they don't care if they lose one rogue customer!!!

Came into Toyota of El Cajon and was very impressed with their huge selection of cars on the lot along with some special packages. I came in the dealer doors and just like the lot I was also impressed with their showroom, accommodating to children with a giant play area and also had a classic mint land cruiser sitting which took me by shock! As I browsed around Victor Aceves greeted me for my appointment and he was everything you would want from a internet sales manager. He was honest, comedic and resourceful of my time during the process. I had an opportunity to meet the desk manager Marwan who took the time to congratulate me on the deal we made and I thanked him for being quick and understanding of the time and deal I was looking for! Next was finance and it was nothing short of the great customer service I received from Victor and Marwan. Hicham who was my finance guy took me through my options with ease and was very smooth and professional throughout the final process, he quoted the time it would take to finish all the paperwork and I took his word on it and it was as he said, quick!

All things said and done these guys are professionals and the way they all took their time to assure quality service to me and I'm sure many other customers blew me away. If you are looking for a place to buy your next Toyota, come to El Cajon as your first option - Huge lobby, clean area, great staff and selection and I will recommend my friends and family to this Toyota dealer without second thought. I brought my car in for the 50K service. This dealership takes care of business without attempting to hoodwink you into buying more stuff. The facilities are comfortable, clean, with lots of new Toyotas to look at while you're waiting.

Ali is the perfect example of HOW ALL CAR SALES PEOPLE SHOULD TREAT A CUSTOMER. Never once at Toyota of El Cajon did i feel typical sales people being pushy or trying to "corner you" or try to argue with you. El Cajon is certainly not the closest Toyota service provider to my home in IB, but I won't be taking my car anywhere else. When I got a used Prius, my brother-in-law highly praised Toyota of El Cajon's service department. My car likely needed a major repair specific to the Prius, so I took it in to El Cajon to be checked out. I was so impressed with the service that I returned there for the work to be done. The Assistant Service Manager, Alberto Ramirez is stellar, and I really appreciate knowing he will be my contact for ongoing service. Well worth the drive for confidence in who is taking care of your car.

Toyota of El Cajon was AMAZING. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before. Omed was an amazing Sales Rep. I asked him to let us look around first and he gave us the time to shop around. He made us feel at home and treated us like family. He has made Toyota of El Cajon our go to place for cars. I bought my 2016 Corolla because of him. Arbie helped with the financing and Tan took care of the rest. The staff here is amazing, the ambiance is amazing. SHOP HERE WITH OMED. You can't go wrong!!!!!!

This place has changed so much over the years! The service is horrible and is an absolute scam. Stay away from Toyota. They are not doing good business and they will try to scam you. I had my Toyota Highlander for 13 years, never had an accident, total miles are 140k and I have taken it to Toyota for the past 13 years! Last year I started having issues for the first time, several lights were on and Took it to Toyota service to fix. They told me the diagnose was going to be $77 and that amount would go towards the fix if I decided to go ahead once they provide the total cost of fixing. It turned out, they couldn't fix the car, but they decided to still change the oil and rotate the tires and since the mechanic took longer to diagnosed the car, they ended up charging me $500! And all I got was oil change. This year got even worse, I had to bring my car one more time because I couldn't pass the smog test. I was very specific that all was needed was the outlined issues that the smog test mechanic pointed out. Same story. $77 for the diagnosis, going towards the fix once they told me the total amount if I approve it. And of course, the mexhanic spend extra time just figuring out, they call me with the huge estimate to fix of $900 but I accept since I just want the car fixed so I can move on. The next thing I hear is that they got confused and found it was something else and just like magic, the number goes from $900 to $4000!!! to be able to fix and pass the smog test. I can't pay that much so I went back to pick the car up, and now they want to charge $600 for nothing, just the time that took an incompetent mechanic to diagnose and all their mistakes they made. Why they even tell you the diagnose is $77 in the first place? This seems to be their game, very dishonest dealership and their cars are not what I was told in terms of quality either. I had only 140k miles and now is a total loss since they can't fix the smog issue and I can't drive it. Stay away from Toyota!

This Memorial Holiday I had the pleasure of working with Trefa Zangana to purchase my New Toyota C-HR, and I couldn t be happier!!! She went out of her way to allow me to test drive the vehicle on a steep hill (since that would be my primary use for the vehicle). She also kept me entertained while the appraisers worked to approve my deal, and I genuinely found a new friend through the experience. I would highly recommend Trefa to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from Toyota of El Cajon!

Just bought one of the last of the Scion FR-S' (before they discontinue and change to the Toyota 86) from them last night. Was a good experience. Ryan from the internet sales dept was my sales guy, and he was good. No nonsense, no need to haggle. I just told him what I wanted to pay, and he made it happen. 10/10 would recommend.

Great customer service. Fast and informative service. Luckily, I can work on my computer in their awesome waiting area that has an office-like area with free wi-fi, free great-tasting coffee machine and clean restrooms.

Toyota of El Cajon is a very comfortable place for me to take our Toyotas for any type of service. I've learned over the years to not have the shuttle take me home because most of the basic servicing is so quick it's a better use of my time to hang out, consume the free coffee and donuts, and I'm able to browse the showroom cars without bother. They're efficient, courteous and do a good job of caring for my cars. It's what every dealership should deliver and what every customer should expect.

Ali Abdi at Toyota of El Cajon was my sales rep through Costco Auto Buying Services. He was amazing! No pressure, he handled everything perfectly, and made the whole experience fun for me! I will be using Ali again for my next car purchase in a couple months.

My experience at Toyota of El Cajon was very positive. When James Hodgson discovered that another Toyota dealership had completed a previous oil change sooner than required, he made sure I received my service for free. They also completed the work in a timely manner.

Best service and wait areas. The prices are surprising reasonable. I've paid a lot more for a lot less amenities at other non-dealer service centers. All around exceptional experience. I'm a new long term happy customer.

My wife and I were in the market for a new Tacoma Pre-Runner and were extremely frustrated with the buying experience from other local dealerships until we decided to call Toyota of El Cajon. As customer's it is pretty simple, we want honesty and integrity and not this bait and switch game or blaming management for not being able to make the deal. We spoke to Hishim over the phone and gave him specifics as to what we were looking to achieve. He told us what he could do and asked us to come down, mind you this was at 7:45 on a Friday so we took a chance and headed down to the dealership. Upon arrival, Hishim introduced us to Shawn who was extremely pleasant. The entire process was painless and probably the best car buying experience we have EVER had. Great job Hishim and Shawn and thank you making this experience so delightful and painless.

The service department is all about getting the most amount of money they possibly can out of unsuspecting customers. I brought in my mother's 02' 4runner with a check engine light. After looking it over they quoted a little over $650 to correct the issue claiming it was a bad air/fuel sensor. After questioning them why a part which at the most costs $200 would cost so much to replace in labor, they backtracked and then came back with a service quote of around $450. In the end it was the sensor and I replaced it myself ($180 for the sensor at Autozone, they also do free check engine light diagnostics). Do yourself a favor and take your Toyota or any other make anywhere else, since I don't think a reputable mechanic would try to rip you off as bad as Toyota of El Cajon tries to do.

I have always brought my vehicles to get serviced at Toyota of El Cajon and I have always had a great experience there. Most of the great experience comes from my service contact David Andersen. He is so pleasant to deal with and ALWAYS has a smile on his face. He is great at listening to any of my concerns with my vehicle and addresses them perfectly! I highly recommend Toyota of El Cajon as well as David Andersen for any of your service needs, he's great!

I came in for a recall replacement and ended up having to replace my battery as well. The associate was willing to work with me and make it easier for me to pay for the unexpected expense.

Go see Jimmy and Mr. Fakhoury here!!! They keep it real and straight forward!!! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the people doing the contracts made me come back and do a whole different one. That's bad buisness and you should get it right the first time. Accountability is key.

I got an appt quickly, and was in and out in no time. Simo was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to see a familiar face as I have worked with Simo before.

I was standing best to a gentleman who was offered a shuttle ride to the mall, but it was not offered for me and my four kids. It always takes over two hours to change my oil.

Mohammed was our sales person. He was very informative about car and very professional. He answered all of our questions. Also he was not like other car sales men that are pushy and annoying. If we had to buy another car we would definitely come here to Toyota. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I bought my car almost a week ago and to this day I've been called to make sure everything was alright. This place is a definite place to shop at.

I went in to Toyota of El Cajon and bought a Toyota Tundra 2016! Omed was my salesman and he did everything to make sure I got what I wanted. We sat with Ariel the inventory manager and she was able find exactly what I wanted. The staff was nice and I'm I am very happy with the team. I highly recommend seeing Omed and Ariel.

Wow! Let me start off by saying this is the best experience I ve ever had leasing a truck! I ve never leased a truck so I was super nervous and knew very little information on how the process might go. Thanks to the awesome help from Philip Gialanella he made my experience easy and painless. He made sure I had the truck I wanted, if they didn t he would make sure they would find it for me. Thankfully the one I wanted was already on the lot. So he asked what I was looking for regarding my monthly payments, once he ran my numbers and we ran into a little snag (after he did everything he could do under his control of course) he called over his manager Khalil Fakhoury ( and he came over with huge smile) and he helped us come up with a number that I wanted, and we were both happy with. I was lucky enough to drive off the lot with my new Tacoma that day extremely happy and satisfied with my experience thanks to these two awesome men! I will definitely be referring all my friends and family to Toyota of El Cajon! You guys are awesome and keep up the awesome customer service! It truly matters!

We didn't think we would get a car because of our credit but he went out of his way to get us approved and got our monthly that we were comfortable with. Very funny guy. The service desk has friendly staff who walk through the needs of your car. Even after my warranty expired I continue to come here for service.
