Erika, at the front desk, made me feel so comfortable like I was talking to a friend. I drove to Toyota of El Cajon from Santa Monica, CA (over 2 hours) after negotiating a fantastic deal with the salesperson, Ryan Darby, over the phone and via email. Ryan made sure that the paperwork was ready for me as soon as I arrived, and I was very promptly back on the road in my new vehicle. I have leased or bought several cars in the past 20 years, and this was by far THE BEST experience, ever. I look forward to contacting Ryan when I'm next in need of a Toyota.

I am now told that since my Camry has 152K miles, I do not qualify for the test. Very disappointed as El Cajon Toyota has been my first choice.

Buying my car at Toyota of El Cajon was seamless and a pleasurable experience. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, especially my sales manager, Ross Miran. The day after I purchased my car, I received a courtesy phone call to make sure my car was washed and a had a tank full of gas when I bought it, which it did. And Ross contacted me after to make sure I as happy with my new car. I would absolutely recommend Toyota of El Cajon!

Could not have been more pleased with our salesman, Victor at Toyota of El Cajon. He made what would normally be a very stressful process of purchasing a car very smooth. He took his time with us (even after visiting the dealership several times), never pushed us into making a decision we weren't ready to make and really made the process enjoyable. Highly recommend

The service here is great. Right off the bat I am greeted and taken care of by the thoughtful porters who make sure all my questions are answered. My go-to service advisor is Eliseo and I recommend him to absolutely EVERYONE who wants an honest, fair, and genuine individual. He is a great guy and most importantly he takes care of all my service needs punctually, and also is a great person to have a conversation with. Eliseo and the lot porters are what keep me coming back to this place.

I have never been to this Toyota before, and as soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by Erika Castaneda at the front desk. Erika is so awesome and very easy to talk too. She is nice and willing to help every way she could assist me. With being a loyal Toyota customer and been to a different Toyota for the past five years for service, well as of today thanks to Erika this will change. Let s just say I am amazed by the outstanding customer service Erika Castaneda provided and honestly, I thought I would be treated as I was at other dealerships.

We did not buy our car here in fact we bought and use to have our car service at Larry H Miller Toyota ( which was once Greg Miller Toyota- To many name changes hmmmmm). We are so glad we decided to go to El Cajon Toyota. We are treated much better and never have to hear upsells from the service advisor. The customer service and customer experience is far beyond what we have expected. The dealership itself is wonderful and spacious and has comfortable seating areas for waiting customers. The coffee area is always clean. The bathroom are much cleaner and much bigger than some other dealers

In fact, our first experience here was great and have come back ever since. The service advisors, some I recognize from the other dealer, are friendly and knowledgeable and explain at the end what was completed in your service and what you may need in the near future. Overall I give this dealership an A+. I know that if we ever need to buy a new vehicle, it will be here.

I have never had a bad experience at the service department of Toyota of El Cajon! I have brought my car there for servicing since 2009, and the service I have received is always exceptional. My service guy is David Anderson, and he goes over and beyond every time. I avoided dealers for my last two vehicles of other makes, only because I was treated rudely and paid for things I did not need. All it took was one visit to Toyota of El Cajon, and I will use their services indefinitely. Even if I own a non-Toyota brand vehicle, I will still take it to this dealer. All the service managers are wonderful. They are honest, reliable, and you receive quality work. Thank you Toyota of El Cajon Service Department! We appreciate you!

I bought my Rav4 8 months ago the customer service was very good but after one month I had little noise in the front brake I went back there they told me you have to pay for the service but purposely I want to other auto repair and I fixed the brakes and cost me $340 because the brakes rotor was crooked.

Answer: It is the ability to rectify a mistake and going the extra mile to accomplish this goal. It is the fortitude and culture of a business to defend its good reputation by providing exemplary service to its customers. This is why I feel Toyota of El Cajon is a great business. They turned an unhappy customer into a loyal customer for life. For a car dealership, it is truly an extraordinary feat and high standard of ethics.

Initially, Toyota of El Cajon made certain statement regarding payment. However, due to low credit score, Toyota Finance charged a higher interest thereby causing the agreed upon payment to go up. Once, the owner of this family owned dealership, Gary Kaminsky became aware of this issue, he immediately took action.

Gary, in fact, used his influence and persistence to get Toyota Finance to reverse their decision regarding the rate tier. Gary s staff and managers work relentlessly with Toyota to resolve this issue. Sales manager, Paul Sphabixay, went above and beyond the call of duty to tenaciously remain involved until the matter was fully resolved. Ross, the sales person was a perfect gentleman and acted as such throughout the transaction.

In the end, I was pleasantly surprised by the dealer s steadfastness in making this car buying experience a perfect transaction. I would recommend this family owned dealership to my friends and family for a straightforward car buying experience. Off course, I shall return to this dealership whenever I need a new car.

I definitely had to come back and update is review because Toyota of El Cajon is amazing. I know that I stated that my contract had errors on it but I was incorrect. Laura from customer relations was really quick to address any issues I had and she made it her mission to ensure that I was well taken care of. What happened is I miss read my contract and was given incorrect information as well but when Laura stepped in she was quick to correct everything and I received everything that I was told originally. I would highly recommend anyone to stop by El Cajon of Toyota and purchase a vehicle they totally have my vote. Thanks Laura for all the help.

I went in for service and had the shuttle driver drop me off at the house. A minute after dropping me off Toyota called to tell me my truck was done. The service advisor, Tiffany, called the shuttle driver, Robin, to pick me up. It was effortless and quick. Next time, I ll probably wait at Toyota. The service was complete in less than 45 minutes.

We've been using Toyota of El Cajon for a few years for all maintenance and service needs and have been very satisfied with both the customer service and the work performed on our Rav4. The facility is very modern and clean and the customer waiting area is spacious with a lot of amenities such as coffee, doughnuts, daily newspapers, and large TVs. They offer a courtesy vehicle to drive us back to our house on the times we needed to leave the car at the shop for extended periods and we have never had to wait too long. The reps are very generous in offering discounts and coupons to apply towards maintenance and repairs so that "dealership premium" has never been an issue for us. We'll keep coming!

I wanted to express my thanks and the awesome offered deal for a new Tocama Prerunner Truck. I have already owned one for 10 years so the product is sold. But you still need to make the purchase, which as many people know can be a very unpleasant experience. However the team of Ryan Darby and Arbie made not only the experience enjoyable, they treated me like family. Of course it has always been that way in the service side with Micah Miller, but I did not know the sales team. I told Micah it was time for a new truck and he referred me to Arbie. Arbie already was heading out of town with family and since I could not purchase that very moment, he communicated to Ryan about me I immediately felt comfortable with. Thank you Toyota of El Cajon, you guys do it right! On all sides of the equation, I appreciate your time and respect. Thank you for taking care of me, an awesome deal and always my truck. I really had a bad business with this guy (Paul Correia )I saw my car ready parked outside and waiting for this guy to call me. Finally I had to go to him ask for my car but this guy told me my car not ready. And I was wondering why this guy trying to wast my time in this hot weather. And he didn't offer me to sit in waiting area so I had to go outside and walking under sun light again then he called me that my car is ready.i really didn't want to argue with this guy about wasting my more than 30 minutes time. But I hope you guys take care of this otherwise you will lose alot of customers with this kind of employees. So yeah definitely I will never ever come to Toyota of El Cajon again

Very difficult experience. Even though I had financing established through my credit union, I was pressured over and over again to have financing approved by the dealership or else I would not be able to leave with the car. I feel like I was not given straight answers to questions about what documents were being signed, and working with Tam the sales manager was awful. He was rude and intentionally short and off putting. This was truly a bad experience.

EDIT: I should probably update to give a more fair review. I think I was mostly upset with the process of car buying as a whole and directed that at this establishment. I really appreciate Laura reaching out and addressing the issue I had with the sales associate. That was very well handled.

I just bought a new 2017 4Runner from the El Cajon dealership and everybody from the salesman to the service drive to the finance department were fanatastic! They made sure I knew everything about the car and paperwork before actually finishing the process. They also made sure that I got exactly what I wanted and paid the price I had available. I would highly recommend that you visit them if you are in the market for a car!

Had an amazing experience buying a car with Ryan Darby. My husband and I each traded in cars, they beat other dealers trade in value, and got a great deal on two cars. The process was very straight forward and Ryan ran all over making sure we got the best deal. My mom was with us and we all felt this was the best car buying experience we had ever had. The day started at another dealership that treated us very poorly so we were very excited the process was so easy.

Omed Khoshnaw was the sales rep that helped us get a great deal and was very knowledgeable, and understands the meaning of being on a budget and he provided us other options that fits our budget. We were treated with the utmost courtesy at Toyota of El Cajon by people who knew their jobs down to the last digit and did not stop doing their jobs until were were absolutlely satisfied. We were encouraged to ask any questions we had, and we received complete and thorough answers to them all. When we got lost on our way to the dealership, the sales manager asked for the cross streets where we had parked and drove over to guide us to the dealership. The financial manager was likewise unstintingly helpful in preparing a payment plan that met our needs. Finally, the service manager helped us to get the alarm system activated in our new automobile and found us in the lounge when the job was done. We felt a remarkable energy among all of the employees there and genuinely felt among friends during our transaction there. I can recommend this dealership without reservation!

Wish I would of purchased my recent Toyota from here. But always tool my Tacoma for servicing here. Battery recently went dead and was still under Warranty. Ellesio (sorry if misspelled) from Service Dept was great to work with and super honest. Nothing like walking into a place and being at ease with everything. He introduced me to a neat Salesguy and started to chat about my recent bad experience at another Toyota. Will be definitely coming back in a year to purchase new car from here. Toyota of El Cajon has been a great experience for using the service department--for service alone I would give it a much higher rating. We've been customers there for 13 years.

Our buying experience has been much different, which is why I can't give it more stars. In fact, if it weren't for the quality customer service in their service department, I'd give them 2 stars. Our first experience buying 13 years ago was great, our 2nd and 3rd experiences buying there more recently, not so much. Lots of pressure, and although we made our intentions clear and our desires known, they were not initially respected. On their behalf, I will say Toyota of El Cajon did try to make amends. For our most recent purchase, however, we did go with a different dealership that honored our wishes not to be pressured or rushed. My advice: shop around, take your time, and don't cave in to the pressure applied. Wait for the best deal.

Wow! What a change. I was helping my daughter buy her first new car. Like most dads I researched the invoice price and checked all the dealerships inventory. We ending up driving from North County all the way to Toyota of El Cajon because the sales man was super knowledgeable, he really knew the ins and outs of the car my daughter wanted, a Scion XB.

Armed with all of my research I was ready to negotiate, but what I found was the car buying experience for a Scion was way different than my past car buying experiences, the price is set. I was then ready to battle over the financing, but the finance guy Danny explained all of the options without any need to haggle, he then went to bat for us to get the best rate, he's a magician. What a great guy. I'd talk with him if you need financing,

Anyhow the entire experience was pleasurable, they even have a pirate ship playground for the little ones. So they get five stars, My daughter is super happy which means dad is super happy,
