Service was as expected. Previously this dealership gave a cursory vehicle wash and vacuum. Notice on service desk stating since drought conditions, vehicle will no longer be washed, no attempt to vacuum vehicle. I guess drought conditions include vacuum too. Shame.

Just purchased a 2015 toyota tacoma from this dealership! Was expecting to instantly get attacked and pressured into buying a vehicle but surprisingly was greeted with open arms. My recent visit to service at El Cajon Toyota was for recall service. It was a very pleasant experience. Paul greeted me promptly and helped me gather my belongings and my service dog, Luis. He escorted us in to see Eddie. Eddie was very helpful . . . he went out to my car with me and helped me pair my phone (something I've been having a great deal of trouble doing myself). It's still paired. And Amanda, the Enterprise lady was delightful to deal with . . . had my loaner all ready. Everybody was welcoming and treated me and my dog like old friends. Especially felt that way when I returned to pick up my car. Thanks.

Ross was very thourough in explaining and helping us with the paperwork, which in it self can be a nightmare. He helped us every step of the way until we drove out the driveway, then giving us followup calls to make sure we were satisfied. We drove from Escondido just to be able to have Ross help us. Today I bought a beautiful new Prius LE from Victor Aceves at Toyota of El Cajon, and I couldn't be happier!
Before coming to this dealership my partner and I had lousy experiences at two other places in town. At DHC Honda of Mission Valley there weren't any sales associates available, so this pushy woman in training tried to strong arm me into buying a car that I wasn't sold on, ignoring my preferences and trying to convince me to get through the financials before understanding the basic functionality of the car we were looking at. Then, at Norm Reeves Toyota in Mission Valley, this guy tried to sell me a Prius for $4k above MSRP, pulling out every trick in the book to try to make it seem like he was doing me a favor. At the end, he was trying to convince me that the dealership actually bought the car from the manufacturer *above* MSRP. It was so insulting.
Then, we get to Toyota of El Cajon, and I knew right away that we were in the right place. We were greeted warmly by Michael out front, who directed us to a receptionist who was also lovely and personable. We had been texting with Victor about a specific car, so he knew to expect us, and when he came up to greet us I was honestly taken aback by how open his expression was. You could tell this was a good guy who genuinely cared about his customers.
While he was showing us the car it felt like I was talking with a friend. He really knew his stuff, was genuinely excited to talk about the various features (this car is so cool!), and took his time to help me get a feel for the car and what I was getting into. And once we started talking numbers, it was night and day compared with Norm Reeves. He was so upfront about everything, and went out of his way to get us a great deal with different incentives and rebate offers. He kept asking us questions to see if we would qualify for different perks and bonuses - seriously, he is the best. He said right from the very beginning that he wasn't going to waste our time with offers that we all knew were too high, and he didn't.
We told both Victor and the dealership's finances guy about our previous experiences and how disheartening they were, and they both said the same thing: "Some people just treat this like a job, but we're professionals." It's true, folks. Go see Victor. You will not be disappointed.

Ferjando Aguinga was a good salesperson. I wasn't really looking to buy a car, but once I decided that maybe I would, he didn't push me to renegotiate all my requests. He calmly let me "take the wheel" and drive my own negotiating. As a lone female customer, I respect that. I love my new red Camry Hybrid! I even got a good deal on my trade-in, a 1998 Camry LE with 199500 miles on it, original purchase new at Toyota of El Cajon! See you in 15 years Toyota of El Cajon!!!
I really had the best experience buying my vehicle at Toyota El Cajon. I test drove 2 cars on a Friday night with Vincent who was so nice even though I did not decide to buy one of those cars. he was so helpful and understanding of what I really wanted. I left the dealership not thinking that I would buy a car from them. On Saturday, Amaar, who I had been working with before Vincent, called me to tell me that he could get me the car that I really wanted transferred from another dealership. He match their price and gave me the best service. I had previously had a very horrible experience at Toyota Chula Vista and I was so happy that I was able to buy the car that I really wanted from Chula Vista and give my sale to Toyota of El Cajon. Everyone at Toyota of El Cajon from the finance department to the salesman were so respectful and nice and helpful that I would definitely refer anyone to get their car from this dealership. They really have good salesmanship and customer service.
I really want to thank Momodou and Ed for being super patience and understanding with me. We did a quick and easy negotiation to a price point I really liked. The last dealership I went to tried to take advantage of us. However, Ed laid out all the details in front of me and wasn t afraid to show me anything. We took the deal.
From there I want to thank our financing guy for making the financing super fast and smooth. Very funny guy. I m so sorry for not catching his name but once I have it, I ll be sure to edit it in!

On December 22nd, 2012, I called the Internet Sales Division, and left a message that I was interested in purchasing a Toyota Highlander. Shortly thereafter, I received a return call from Ariel Sullivan, who offered to help me out with my purchase that day. I only wanted to buy a black Highlander with gray interior which they didn't currently have in stock. Ariel and the Internet Sales Team made a few calls and they located a car for me in Carson. They sent a driver up to get the car and drove it back down to their dealership where I was able to pick it up by 6:30 pm that evening. While I was completing the paperwork, Ariel sat and visited with my husband and I, and made us feel very comfortable. I also enjoyed talking to Ryan and Marwan.
Hicham Khamkhami was the Salesperson that wrote up the contract and went over all of the important details of my purchase with me. He even spent about 30 minutes going over all of the features for the stereo system and he uploaded my contacts from my phone so that I would be able to use the bluetooth with the wireless system when I was driving home. He called me the following day to ask me how I liked the car and if he could be of any assistance, and he also followed up with an email as well as a message yesterday wishing me a Happy New Year.
Diego was the Finance Manager that I had the opportunity to work with as I was completing my purchase and I found him to be very knowledgable, but he did not use a "hard sell" approach when he explained the extended warranty contract and why it would be a good idea to purchase it. As a result of his explanation, I did buy the extended warranty.
All of the staff were extremely professional and my entire purchase was completed in about 2 1/2 hours, but I can't say enough about Ariel and Hicham. First impressions are lasting, and Ariel and Hicham serve Toyota of El Cajon well by leaving an outstanding impression!!!

The facility is great, nice lounges for customers with TVs, coffee and donuts, winfi and shuttle services like all other auto dealers. In terms of service however they lag behind NISSAN, Ford or GMC where you can save money in oil change, tire rotations, free car wash through monthly vouchers sent to your house. Which actually what matter most to consumers.
I never thought I'd say this about an auto dealer, but Toyota of El Cajon made my buying experience a pure joy! I downloaded my USAA Savings Certificate from USAA Auto Circle, emailed the certificate to the Toyota of El Cajon email indicated on the certificate, came in later that day with email in hand to see fleet manager Ryan Darby, and drove out with my new habanero Prius C about two-hours later, paying less than the nationally advertised sale price, having experienced no games or haggling. Unbelievable! I can't recommend Toyota of El Cajon more highly!

I just bought my second car from Toyota EC. I was debating about whether to sell my used car or trade in. Went to Carmax to sell it and the price they offered was a joke. I had worked with Zack Khoshnaw with my first car and reached out to him. He was able to make a more than fair offer on my used car and got me an excellent deal on a Toyota Corolla. I have since referred my friends to him and he has offered them great deals as well. No pressure, gives you quotes over the phone and will email you specs so you see everything you need to do your research. When you get the paperwork and try to compare to what other dealers will offer, they have continually said to me that is a great deal, I would take it!!! His integrity and attention to the customer's needs is beyond EXCELLENT. He is someone you can talk to and he not feel pressured to do anything. He even has said think it over and let me know what you want to do. This is why I will continue to purchase my cars from Zack and Toyota of EC even though I live in North County. I would highly recommend this dealership.

It is my own fault that I trusted my daughter's friend who made false promise to lure us in and made us waited for nearly 4 hours for nothing. My daughter 's friend texted her this morning and assured Toyota of El Cajon would match other dealer' price. We were on our way to other dealerships, but I respected my daughter's good intention to support her friend, so we went to Toyota of El Cajon instead. The appointed sales person confirmed he was 99.9 percent sure they could match or do better on pricing. After 4 hours of making us believe he was trying to get approval from the manager, we finally had enough! The sales person tapped our window when we were ready to drive off and told us " Sorry! Can't Do! " I was so mad and shocked!
We are loyal Toyota consumers. We had bought our Toyota Highlander, Corolla and Camry from Bob Baker, Mossy and Poway and never experienced this type of selling tactics- made false promise, bad-mouthed about other dealers, put you in a room and made you waited more than 1.5 hour, came back and said " the manager is at lunch, and it shouldn't be any problem..." and made us wait longer....Stay away from Toyota of El Cajon! There are many others good sales people and honest managers at different Toyota dealerships who would be straight forward with you- We bought my daughter's Prius from Toyota of Poway 1 one later- What a night and day difference on customer service!

The customer service has been excellent, I asked to have my transmission oil changed a while back and a sample so that I could see the old oil. They did as I requested no problem even if the manufacturer didn't recommend it at that point in time.
