I have a Time Internet 500mbps 1 year contract exp...

I have a Time Internet 500mbps 1 year contract expiring end of this month. Then recently I relocated to another Condo with Time Internet.

I wanted to relocate my line and continue the same account but was told 1 year contract is not allowed to relocate. I need to terminate and subscribe new line in new place.

What is the rational for this?

Very poor customer service. The worst I've encountered. Not only are your scheduling staff unhelpful, they are also rude. If a customer requests a call back as you've called at an inconvenient time, the least you can do is oblige and call back later, or have the customer call in when convenient.

Dear management team,

Dear management team,
I'm very disappointed with services from Ur team. I'm staying in university tower n my time internet services have been down for past 3 days. I called a total of 6 times to the hotline for the past 2 days. Promises was given to me reassuring to me that technician n network engineer is already fixing the problem and will get it fix today, however still not settle until now. And the last hotline staff asked me to wait till tomorrow.

I sincerely feel that the service is bad, how could a problem was not settle for 3 days n the worst is the customer has to follow up on Ur problem. Really disappointed.

At the end of all phone calls to the hotline, all operators took down my number and said will get back to me n none of them actually get back to me. Really bad services!!!

Hope Ur side will get the problem solve asap, as is total inconvenient to us not being able to work at home. If problem still unsolve till tomorrow, will consider terminating the service n change to other network company.

A waste of my valuable life time dealing with group of incompetence support and service people. They are just too lazy bunch of people. They put my address wrong and when I told them to fix, they are so stubborn saying that the address is the same eventhough Im the one live in that area. The only reason the company is alive is they are monopolizing a newly developed service residence fibreoptic port. This company not even worth a single star!

I don t understand how you can fine your customer penalty, when your customer move from condo to landed with the intention of using your service and you don t provide coverage for landed house. Fine us for being a loyal customer? But no coverage for landed house. I believe this penalty is for people who have already signed the contract and DECIDED not to use your service anymore and that is totally understandable. RM 500 isn t a huge figure, but it doesn t make sense AT ALL. I am willing to pay for the monthly fees to continue using your service, it is just because you don t have the coverage for us and we are getting fined????

Careful.... Ive paid my bill for may to june but the bill for june to july is twice the amount i should have paid. Ive tried contact the customer service but it said that the customer service is full and cannot contacted me. I even tried to emailed but it replied with "we'll see ur problem within 1 day". Since im a student and ive finished my sem i need to go somewhere with my fam and so as my friend. So i need to settle this business now. Pls reply on ur customer n settle the business faster!!

I am having a very bad experience with this company. The way they take care of their customers gives you the feeling of dealing with scammers. I paid RM500 deposit for their Wi-Fi service. They withdraw my application because my visa expiry was less than 3 months and till today I haven't got my refund. It's been already almost 2 months. I advise you all to avoid dealing with TIME.

Horrible service. I am facing so much problem canceling my subscription. Everyone says different things, and even after following every procedure they end up sucking all your money. So far I have spent around 600rm and they still want me to pay 500rm more to cancel and denied our previous payments to cancel the procedure.

Requested for relocation service but because of the MCO they refused to do it. This in spite of the fact that Internet services have been listed as essential service by the government. The government never did stopped ISPs from doing installation or relocation works. However, after MCO was extended several times, TIME decided to "relax" their rule and make it a requirement that building area to be categorized as green zone before they can proceed. Green zone means 0 case. Waiting for any of the klang valley area to turn into green zone is just a crazy requirement. The pandemic could last for a year and if we are truly waiting for one whole big district to have 0 case then you might as well terminate our contract. Other essential sectors such as banking, delivery service, restaurants, securities, cleaning all can operate as usual albeit a few safety precautions, so why can't you operate as well? What makes you so special? Installation works doesn't even require any human contact. You only need to come in and install the wiring up to the house door and let the customers handle the placement of the router inside their homes themselves.

However since they do not offer their service in my new house, I was now forced to terminate my contract early. Of course now I will have to pay the RM500 penalty. Smart way to get 500 for free

When signed up need to EXTRA becareful, when your area mention 'Covered', you better call and double confirm, whether is full! Signed up more than 1 month plus, no yet install, due to they keep mention the port is FULL. When call and only keep saying delay. If like this, then why mention my area is covered? Should be to be noticed or what, after sign up and fix installation date, just get informed the port FULL. Really disappointed and don't know when is the actual date they can really fix the port.

I think they hacked into my TM server. TM charged me for the number that I DIDN'T EVEN CALL, apparently which is TTDOTCOM. WHO HAVE THE PURPOSE TO CALL TTDOTCOM EVERY MONTH FOR 6 YEARS?? when I tried calling these numbers, there are no ringing. Only a long "BEEEEEEPPPPP" was heard. Parasite!

A company full of thieves and liars who will overcharge you for any unused service and then refund you only 90 days later. I requested them to cancel my subscription at least 30 days before the actual termination. The termination took effect in January 6. Since I haven't used for the rest of the month, they said I'd just have to wait for the final prorated bill. Awesome, I thought I was all settled. Few days later, I got a shocking bill: I was charged for the entire month of January. Their response: My billing cycle is every month on the 4th while my termination was 2 days after on the 6th. But wait, I requested the service termination like a month before the billing. Anyways, despite having a 30 day notice, they didn't bother prorating my next bill and instead charged me full. They told me they would refund the outstanding amount. I was still ok at this point. But there was another catch. Since I terminated my service before the contract ended, they also said they would also charge me a 500 penalty fee. Ok, it sounds fair. So I thought: I need to get my 300 security deposit back, so 500 fee minus my 300 deposit, I'll just have to pay an extra 200 and problem solved. Nope. Like you can see in the picture, they said they would charge 500 first and my 300 deposit would be refunded only 90 days after. 90 days! Just to process a refund that normally takes up to 30 days. Btw they have a terrible customer service just like many others already mentioned here. 2.5 stars. That's bad. But now I understand why. It will be 0-1 in no time at this rate

I've been reaching out their customer service and technicians for help because their internet frequency are being unstable for the past 3 months. They push me like ping pong and things never settle. Their staffs all rude especially Shamita and Anusha. I've been paying RM 210.94 for 1Gb plan but i get peanuts. This is so unfair for me. I need you guys to settle my case asap! dont want to hear excuses no more. Please be more professional.. You guys are dealing with people's money. No joke!

Not a good service provider....my line was suspended because one month payment outstanding...as i have was not in town and overlooked the o/s...
Y they even have to suspend the telephone line too....?? My children could not even call during an emergency...was using Unifi b4 this.,..never had got my telephone line disconnected ....regretting for switching from Unifi to Time....
Worst still...they need 24hrs to reinstate after making payments....

Worst cs ever.
I submitted ownership transfer request and could not get deposit back even after four months!
They informed me deposit refund will take 90days,( this is ridiculous too.. it's 21th century! Do you think it is resonable timeline?)
I asked refund status after 3months from submission.Then they replied they need another document for further process. YES they did not even check whether all the docs are ready for three months
Still im waiting 1month more from above and yes, no update at all! I never received specific timeline for clear, further update from this terrible company.

Very Poor Customer Service experience comparing to Maxis, even with Unifi, and not flexibility at all on the relocation. First, if you want to terminate, the whole process will take up to 2-3 months provided if their customer service is actively replying you on what's the step etc. Second, you are not allowed to waive the penalty if the building you move in to has no TIME coverage (unlike maxis). Not like we don't want to continue, but they have very limited area coverage. Third, taking extra 30 days for cancellation + slow customer service and poor explanation, have to pay extra 2 months. Conclusion, low coverage, poor customer service, bad relocation service, no flexibility, terms are only to protect themselves.

Avoid TIME at all cost! When the govt directed Time to reduce the broadband from RM149 to Rm99 for the 100Mbps plan, Time purposely upgrade my plan to 500Mbps so they can charge me rm139. This is unacceptable as I did not request to upgrade. When I request to retain my original plan, they treat that as a request to downgrade my plan so they can re-start the 24 months contract. When I wanted to cancel after 24 months they penalise me with a rm500 charge which is ridiculous!! If ur facing this problem just report to MCMC and they will help u out

and when i provided they refuse the thing that they ask for

they are totally unprofessional, been 4 month applying and can not get internet !!

they fail to reply me for 40 days and eventually they cancel and ask me to wait for 90 days for refund !!!! if you don't to proceed at least give back deposit money on time !!! this is really ridiculous!

Guys don't be fooled by 100Mbps, it's mostly only 9Mbps. Even though it's cheapest advertised the service interruptions in KL is almost weekly basis. High ping when connecting overseas. Customer service will ignore you when there's outages. Prepare to be the next TM.

I am giving this one star only because that I can write a review after giving it,we schedul relocation installation on 31 st December and the technician who came he said that because of some technical issue he cannot do that on that day and he rescheduled it on 02 January 2020 we agreed and that person called us on 2 nd and asked us to reschedule it to Saturday 11 AM ( 04/01/2020) and he asked me to do it on portal in the mean time I received a call from time customer care and asked about rescheduling so informed them the same that your technician will be coming on 04/01/2020 and she said ok then I will fix on that day , I said ok. On 04/01/2020 no body came and I called the same technician who came to fix it and he answered that no ticket was raised to do installation then I called customer service and they replied they will reschedule it within 14 days -I am really vexed of time services and I don t want to suggest their services and I need to pay for all these relocation days which I am not using their services really vexed

Internet down almost every time when it's raining, said will repair it within 4 hours but what ended up was 24 hours. It was so inconvenience as I can't do a lot of things without WiFi(I can't joined the online class) and this situation has happened countless times.

Just to share my frustration. Subscribed to 100 Mbps connection. Did the speed test and both download/upload speed below 10 Mbps. I don't expect to get the promised speed, quite happy to get even 50% of the max speed. Very rarely did I get that speed.

I'm transferring current account to new user becau...

I'm transferring current account to new user because I'm relocating to another house. I went to TIME HQ before Raya just to submit the documents and hoping the process would be faster and hassle free. They told me it would take 1 month to process the whole transfer. So towards end of June the new user still did not receive call from TIME technician to schedule relocation. I then spoke to the call center and they help me to speed up the process to relocate to new address on 29 June.
However today I still receive the TIME statement in my email with my name but with the new address.
And call center told me that they have to relocate then only can process the ownership transfer, which will take another 14 days to process. This baffles me as why it took so long just to transfer the new details in the system after relocation.
I would say the service for TIME is really slow and not user friendly at all. Everything needs 14-30 days to process which is absurd being a telco company that promotes speed.
Anyway I wouldn't recommend TIME to anyone in the future.

TIME is really sucks! When i request to terminate my service, they informed me to terminate it a day before beginning of next month. So i terminate my service on 30th November, a day before December. Now i kept receive their email and sms chasing me for another RM61, saying this is because of my billing cycle is on 22nd every month? and my service was terminated on 1st Jan while i emailed them on 30th November? from 22nd December to 1st January, i have to pay for RM61? No one informed me on this and just ask me to terminate a day before, services is already lousy, still wants to cheat for another RM61 when your users wants to terminate their services when they are moving out. Seriously, TIME dun even worth for 1 star on their service, without rating on star i cant post my review, i'll give u that star but TIME u do not deserve it!

Great fiber. But don't expect any service from them. I have been fighting with them over 1 month. If you ever need ownership transfer, router relocation or anything related to management, they will take about 3 weeks to read your forms. Don't ever expect them to read your emails. Hire a lawyer, start threatening them, and then they will open your email... To tell you "they will recontact you asap". 20 emails sent, hours of phone and live chat. Nothing was done. They will delay as much as they can, until you have unsettled balance). Then they will come to tell you they can't process your service because of balance and you should contact them (when you spent the last 3 weeks harassing their phone and chat lines !?!?). Then ignore you again until next unsettled balance.

The call center told me they don't ever have any available services to come in weekend but only working days and working hours. Excuse me, not all people have people in home always and wait for you to come and fix the problem.

There is a huge problem in the operation system of this company. The effciency level is intolerable. I booked my time on 14 June, and your installer came and said it cannot be done because TIME has not dealed properly with the management. The date was rescheduled to 17 June. In the process, I received no initiative of updating from TIME. I had to keep calling and messaging to get confirmation. On 17 JUNE, the installer did not show up because of personal issue and TIME did not immediately sent out back-ups, I ended up waiting again.

May I know is there any vacancy at manager level for TIME operation management department? Is time for you to change! Or else you are just next TM!

STILL NO REFUND for RM500 unauthorized visa CHARGE, 60+ days later.

Beware of this ISP! The most broken billing department that I have ever encountered. They performed an unauthorized charge of RM500 on my VISA card and and when notified repeatedly they promise to transfer to my foreign bank account in 90 days!

According to the law this refund should be made within 14 days. 60+ days, 48 messages and phone calls back and forth, have passed with more than 8 promises the refund will be made "imminently."

Act 599 CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT 1999 As at 1 September 2016:
(3) Where the consumer has paid the supplier more money than the supplier is entitled to charge under paragraph (2)(a), (b) or (c), the supplier shall refund the extra payment or make a refund available, within fourteen days of cancellation.

Please be extra cautious when signing up for time. They take very long time to install. I have been waiting for more than 2 months and they keep provide excuses for the delay. It is very frustrating and I need to keep changing plans. So please be careful on what TIME PROMISE you as they will not deliver.
