I ordered on the first of October and 26 days and yet have received my order all I get are excuses I wish I would have read these reviews before I would ve not placed and order and my order was $55 I do not recommend ordering from here if you expect a timely delivery

** UPDATE ** I did finally hear from the company. I did receive my items and they are really nice. Hopefully they have worked out the kinks and others will have no issues. I would consider ordering again to support a veteran owned company.

This has been the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience I have ever had to endure.

There is no way to score ZERO STARS so I am having to rate it one star. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere and avoid this company at all costs.

First, they tell you to wait the 2-3 week delivery time before contacting them, that is just to buy them time as they clearly don't have the capability OR the intention of keeping to their stated delivery times.

Second, be WARNED, once you place your order it is IMPOSSIBLE to go back and review for order status or details, so you're left TOTALLY IN THE DARK as to what is happening with your order.

THIRD, When you have to contact them to chase your order (and you WILL have to chase it), you CANNOT call them, their customer service, and I use that term in the loosest possible meaning, even states if you call the number on google it will just direct you to their email. They probably do this because they will simply be inundated with complaint calls.

Fourth, when I finally received my order it was most definitely "NOT AS DESCRIBED" on their website a "Reclaimed Wood Custom Tree Of Life Monogram". The closest thing to reclaimed wood was the cardboard packaging it was shipped in.

Now I am going to have to go through the whole EMAIL ONLY CONTACT process to try and actually get what I order over 7 weeks ago.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE..... do yourselves a HUGE FAVOR..... SHOP ELSEWHERE.....

I will be contacting them today (by email of course) but doubt I will not hear an answer for at least a week.

Twenty negative one star reviews just this past month. Doesn't look like the company is headed in the right direction.

Placed custom order September 26. Shipping on the website for custom pieces said 10-15 business days. Still have no email nor notification that my order has shipped. I ordered this for a wedding gift and am really disappointed that I have not received my order.

They sure do have the time though to send me at least one promotional email a day to buy more from them. Had a couple other items picked out to buy, but pretty sure that won't be happening unless I am super pleased with my product when I HOPEFULLY receive it. I hope I can change the star rating...

I added a sign I love you to the moon and back I wanna do it in blue And received it in purple.

I have ordered from this company twice. They need to fix their turnaround time. The quality of my first item was great! However, it took over a month to receive. The second item isn t here yet. It s been over a month and I haven t received notice on shipping yet.

I have ordered several items from this company and love every piece I received. I ordered 2 pieces a few weeks ago and have not received them as yet. I am confident that they will arrive and be just as beautiful as every other item I have received. The worst part is being patient enough to wait for delivery.

The service experience that my family has had ordering has been a nightmare. They are rude and unprofessional towards potential customers or anyone that leaves negative reviews. They turned off their review option on Facebook rather than behave in a professional manner. The blame the customer for lack of customer service and threaten to report your page if you dare leave an honest review. A mistake I understand and am more than willing to forgive if the communication and customer service is on point, which sadly it was not. Rather than respond in an acceptable and professional way they responded in combative and abrasive ways. Even looking through the reviews here, any of the negative ones have snarky responses from the company. Buyer beware.

I can't imagine doing business with someone who threatens it's customers with cancelation of orders if they reach out to the Better Business Bureau for assistance when they refuse to respond and address delayed orders. Read all the 1 star reviews. Buyer beware

Ordered oct 10 emailed no response only want to know when i am getting my order.they have my money and wont respond.will never order here again.if i dont get a response soon will call credit card company to help resolve it if not the bbb will be next

Do not expect any decent response from customer service. I sent an email November 23rd immediately after placing an order. The response came December 2nd.

I had error in my order, my fault but the length of response was atrocious and of course it was by then too late for them to change the order. The offered a coupon to buy another but with customer support like that. I will take my chance with the many competitors on these steel products!

UPDATE ! I could not have been more wrong. I received a phone call minutes after making this review and I got the attention of someone who could fix my piece. I am very impressed with the response and way they fixed the situation.

Have yet to see the items ordered. But placed my order a month ago. Have been given no updates. After reaching out was told 5-7 days or 10-15 prior to shipping for customized. It's been more than both. I'm not a happy. They took my money, where's my order?!?

I ordered the purple dragonfly and two "I love you to the moon and back" and let me tell you I love them!!! The purple color of the dragonfly is stunning! The perfect color! And the signs are the perfect size to hang in my children's rooms. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

The only negative and this is a very small negative is that the point on the moon is very sharp but they are so amazing in every other aspect!

This company does not have their stuff together!! Placed an order and could never get an estimated ship date. Then was finally told would ship by end of week and that never happened. After 5 weeks of waiting they finally just refunded my money. Customer service is non existent!

Since you wanted to make certain comments I will respond by saying after 2 weeks I messaged you and you informed me it would take up to 20 business days. After 25 business days you still had no answer on when it would ship and then refunded my purchase. I have all emails sent about this matter. Glad you are hiring people but its a little late for a lot of customers!

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Steel Roots Decor in Calhoun! They offer so many great choices of styles and I love having gifts personalized. Just makes it so much more special. They did a great and quick job on several orders for me and my clients really loved them! Awesome job, super nice & quick! Can't wait to order more items from here....maybe even one for myself!

I placed an order and, to respond before the company puts their general comment that I've seen them post to everyone complaining on here, I read the policy on the website that states custom orders take 10-15 business days to ship. Last week I was told it would be mailed out by the end of the week which would be day 20. I wasn't the happiest but great, at least that was something. Today is business day 21 & still no shipping confirmation. When I try to check the status of my order on their website it says that my order cannot be found. I have no doubt that this is a legitimate company but they definitely cannot stand by their own terms when it comes to shipping their products. If you want something in a timely fashion, do not order from this company.

It has been 3 weeks since I placed the order (as a birthday gift that has now passed), emailed customer service 3 times and they responded by thanking me for my patience and still don t have a shipping confirmation! Poor turn around, yet quick to process payment. First and last time I ll order with them-hope I get it my products!

It s been 30 days since I paid for my item ordered. I have emailed, called their phone number that is no longer in service. They say they are concerned with the customers, I haven t noticed that at all. I ordered a Christmas gift!! Not happy that there is no way to contact the company. The phone number listed does not work. I have paid in full and have not received what I ordered. I have seen a lot of other people have had the same problem. I hope that I either get what I ordered or get my money back.

PLEASE..DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! I ordered products from them and they never delivered! They were happy to take my money though@! I tried calling one of their numbers its disconnected, the other just tells you to email them, they give you the email address then it hangs up! I've emailed them several times with mo response back. I've even commented on their posts on facebook about them not doing what's right, and so they blocked me from commenting!!! This place IS A RIP OFF!! PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

Scam. Haven't received. When I called there 800 number it was redline steel. No help no tracking and no phone number. I have a copy of my tracking number.

Just got my item, I ordered and I'm in love with it. I will definitely order more things. I just have one question. Can y'all do in memory of items? I would love to get something in the memory of my husband who passed away in November of 2017 and for my father in law who passed away in February of 2010 both from cancer. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family!!!

Placed my order on 09/17/20 for one sign; no specialization. It is now 11/01/20 and nothing! Emailed numerous times with a different excuse from them each time; when they respond. Said it had been fulfilled and then that it was still in there shipping department. Lesson learned, will NEVER order again.

Although I still do not have my order, a recent email from them referencing their internal issues due to growth, gave me reason to amend my initial review. Bad company. Says it is the fastest. But I ordered from 3 different companies got them all. Except from steel poots. I filed a complaint. Also their email person takes longer than 3 days and sometimes never answers emails.

I made an order, but have not received it yet. No one answers the phone, only a recording. Email response is the same, it's automated saying they will get back in 48 hours. Still waiting. Ive decided to contact the Better Business Bureau.

I too am disappointed with no response from this company. I have emailed a number of times with a generated response.....phone is not in service. Just filed a dispute with my credit card company since I ordered this end of September and it is now a month later with no response from them.

I ordered a metal monogram dog paw almost a month ago & I have gotten ONE letter saying upgrading warehouse. Not even a confirmation letter for my order but it is showing on my PayPal that I paid. Will give them until the end of the month before BBB & PayPal gets involved!

got a response from the owner...said they had 100% responded to my emails...no they haven't... nothing ! And said I would get my order...I still have no confirmation of my orders...no emails from them...but they have my payments.... can't check anything on their website..... sending me messages everyday about specials but nothing regarding my emails regarding my orders. An auto response to an email is not a real response...gives no info

I ordered back on September 20th and it was customized as well I didn t get my order two weeks ago today. It took 8 weeks to get mine. I keep Ed emailing then to get mine and they told me they would give me a percentage of refund back and I still haven t got that either. I will not to ordering from this place again and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Your company sent me a warm email explaining a bit of a slow response of my order and with that my order was BEAUTIFUL and just as the picture demonstrated. Now a days with ordering on line at times its a hit and miss but Steel Roots proved to be one of those companies i will order from many times

Last year I ordered Christmas gifts from another company, it was a nightmare in every sense! Didn t get my gifts in time, filed complaints with the State and BBB, didn t respond to any emails, then sent out a blanket email about moving to a new facility and how sorry they were, Steel Roots responded to one of my snarky posts about this rip off company and asked me to trust them to deliver on their product, I did and in two weeks I received my order! Not only was it a beautiful product which delighted the recipient, it arrived exactly when promised! Steel Roots is a company with integrity, they should be the blueprint for what a business should aspire to achieve! Have ordered multiple items through them, beautiful workmanship, timely delivery, trust them, you won t be disappointed!

Ordered on 10-13 and have still not received. The tracking still says the same thing that post office is still waiting for item. I dont understand whats taking so long since I get emails daily from this company. I thought since it says its located in Georgia that I would get my item being that is an USA state. Guess I was wrong.

I am still patiently waiting but I m anticipating a beautifully finished product. One of the pieces is a gift. I am so looking forward to receiving it.

I ordered a piece from this company. I made a mistake and accidentally clicked on the wrong color and didn't realize my mistake til after I got my confirmation. When I realized what I'd done, I emailed them to ask if they could please fix it for me. They contacted me and said they would try to locate my order and see if they could fix it. Long story short, they are fixing it and have contacted me several times to let me what the status of my order is. I would get recommend them. I went onto their site and placed an order for 20 pieces. The bill came to $9.99 for shipping, no charge for the product. Received 1 piece with a manifest that said 20, no notification that there was a problem, no correction to the order. Poor communication, finally they admitted that they had a problem with their system but never asked me what I wanted to do. Just took my money and sent me what they wanted to, not what my order said.

I want to thank you for such a beautiful piece of art--nameplate--that hangs in my frontdoor hall. I want everyone to see it!! i will be sure to tell all my friends and family to look you up.

Beautiful piece punched on a CNC machine and Powder Coated. Nice gift for a friend or family member. I received my order today and I am very happy with what I received. I have started my Christmas shopping already back in May or June because of my love of this company and the quality of the items i have gotten. I would definitely recommend there quality. I have multi items i have purchased for myself and as gifts

I made an order for two pieces (plus the free offer that was advertised) on 10/18/20. I asked for an order update on 10/27/20. I was told their production was taking up to 20 days due to experiencing some "slight delays". On the 20th day 11/06/20 I asked for a tracking number. I was told "your order will be shipped at the latest tomorrow" which would be 11/07/20 . Having received no confirmation, I asked for a tracking number again on 11/09/20 but received no reply. On 11/12/20 I informed them I would not honor any payment and again received no reply. I was hoping to have this as a birthday present for my wife. That's obviously not going to happen. Poor customer service, poor delivery times, poor follow up on promises. I suspect they spent a lot of money on advertising then couldn't keep up with all the orders.(??) However they haven't let up on the advertising.......I fully expect a snarky answer on this as I've seen done on other bad reviews. I can back up every detail of this review with copies of emails.

I purchased the I love you to the moon and back piece in red and it s PERFECT!!! Fast shipping and the quality of the product was well done and looked just like what was ordered!! I m so happy it arrived before Mother s Day! I m so excited to give it to my mom! I love you to the moon and back has been our saying to each other since I was little! I know she s going to love it! So far I am pleased with this company, I ordered a couple of custom pieces (still waiting for order to ship & arrive) I will have patience since I know this work is all custom. I received an email from the founders of the company which I think is a fantastic idea to do (even if it is an automatic email). I replied to that email and within a couple days, customer service wrote back. I have had no issues contacted the company, the customer service is fast and helpful. I will do another review once I receive my wonderful items. I know I will continue to order items, everything shown on the website are good ideas for around your home. Thanks for all you do!

Placed an order, and a month later still had not received it. Tracking information provided said USPS was still waiting for the package. I I contacted steel roots and they claimed my package got lost in shipment (though USPS never received a package to ship) they immediately set up a new shipment. USPS tracking again said it was waiting on the package. I would think they would have made an effort to expedite my order, since it was already over a month out. After 3 days of no movement, again, I filled a dispute through PayPal. Steel roots did respond immediately, and issue a refund.
I really wish I could recieved my ordered product, a gift for my wife.

They reversed the shipping info!
They did take the MONEY!

I love the items I ve bought from Steel Roots, 1st time I picked the eagle in blue medal it is definitely a unique piece. After that I was comfortable buying another, I chose Love you to the moon, I have a grandson who lives in TX that I don t get to see very often. Since he was a tiny little guy I always said this to him. We talk on FaceTime n I still say it to him so when I seen the piece I had to buy it for him. I got it in a gold medal I m going to send it to him w/ his Christmas gifts. He can hang it on his wall n hopefully he will look at that n know how much he s loved in Ohio.
I do recommend this Co. they do outstanding art work n the guys are Veterans so it s a win win for me.

I placed an order about 4 weeks ago. I did not get an order conformation yet my bank account was debited. I have emailed to ask if I my order exists because there is no order confirmation nor a order number which they require to inquire about an email. It states on the confirmation email that they received my email asking about my order. It also states that I should allow 48-72 hours (business days) for a response. It's been 6 days. I call and goes straight to voicemail. VM states an to email and that they would answer in 24-48 hours. I have no answers and they have my money. Plus, they keep sending emails trying to get me to spend my money with them... Why would I do that? #notahappycustomer

Ordered 2 items. They said both were delivered although I only received one of the items. Have had no response to my email about the missing piece. I should have read reviews before ordering. Lesson learned. Disappointed!

Great products, my first order was awesome. Second order not so great of an experience. Received an advertisement email advising Time is Running out on Those Mother s Day Gifts so I ordered an item for my mom on 5/6/2020 and it s just now scheduled (5/11/2020)to deliver on 5/14/2020. Four days after Mother s Day. I sent an email enquiring on my order on 5/9/2020 and only got a generic response on 5/12/2020. Not sure why I was charged 2-3 business day shipping if it s actually going to be 5 business days. A little misleading on advertisement and inaccurate on the shipping info.

It has been 18 business days and almost a month since I placed an order. No response via phone and email all I get is be patient. I think I am running out of patience ..... all I ask is give me an idea as to when it will ship. You need to work on your customer service and delivery!!!!!
