I like the ambience, especially the colonial settings. Also the tranquility from the hustle and bustle of city life. Service staff are friendly and they respect your privacy. The pool area is also unique for relaxation and the giant trees provide natural shades and canopy backdrop is a totally new out of the world holiday experience not to be missed.

Paid 5* pricing but you get 2* service. No one show the room direction, we asked 2 staff and both of them pointed the wrong direction. Room is old and smelly, shower floor tiles is broken......... seriously 5*? Oh well finally the first day, we understand during this period cant expect buffet breakfast BUT seriously the breakfast is worse than... bread is hard and no fresh at all. Stayed a night here to celebrate my daughter birthday. The services provided were excellent. I arranged for a cake to be served at the cafe near the lobby and the manager there, Savi, (I hope I got the name correct) was attentive and very helpful in our requests. There is a fish pond nearby where you can get a foot spa, little fishes nibbling your feet. My girls enjoyed staying here.

When we came to check in at 3pm our room was not ready. We had to wait until 4pm until our room was ready. I might expect this of a 3-star hotel but not a 5-star hotel.
We booked the Unlock singapore package that allowed us to use the spa facilities free of charge. When we went to the spa it seemed we could have just used the facilities without using the package as nobody asked for our room number or name to confirm if we could use the facilities.
At breakfast we were assigned a table after collecting our food from the buffet bar, we went back to our table to find somebody seated init. We informed a waiter and they went to speak to the gentlemen but they didn't move him instead the solution was to find us another table in a full restaurant. I would have expected the staff to be more firm and remove the gentleman that sat at our table without been assigned it, as this was not our mistake.

The Sofitel on Sentosa is for us one of the most beautiful places which exist. We've already been there twice and we're sure to go there again. There you are a guest in the very best sense of the word. The complex is simply fantastic and awakens the longing to come again. The breakfast buffet is of very high quality and simply tastes delicious. There are local Asian and European delicacies. On the terrace one eats with view (through the forest) to the open sea and to the swimming pool. The free running peacocks contribute a lot to the entertainment. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus that runs every half hour to Vivo-City (subway) and back. This hotel is too good to do just a little city hopping. Here you can relax and unwind. Here you can make holidays! I'm looking forward to our next trip!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Sofitel Sentosa immensely. We received a very warm welcome on checking in. My hand monogrammed notebook from Rachelle was such a lovely, personal touch. We were fortunate to receive an up grade and our suite was so luxurious and comfortable.
Breakfasts were amazing! It was difficult to decide what to have from the vast array of delectable choices.
All our dining experiences at the resort were great. We enjoyed the ambiance of Le Bar for a quiet evening drink and enjoyed dining twice at ilLido. The food was superb and such a beautiful setting overlooking the twinkling lights of the ships anchored in the South China Sea made for most memorable evenings.
Enjoying a massage and the facilities at So Spa was a lovely, relaxing way to spend a part of our last day in Singapore. We also enjoyed a light lunch at The Garden. Fresh and delicious.
We appreciated being able to relax at the pool after checking out until it was time to leave for the airport. The bowl of sorbet brought to us by Rajdeep Singh before we left was a lovely farewell gesture. During our stay we found all of the staff at the resort to be very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and very much hope that we will have the opportunity to visit again. Thank you.

Paid 5* pricing for 3* amenities and service - will never return nor recommend to anyone. Our room was dirty, small, carpets dated and worn, wall dirty and punctured, safe not powered on, broken toilet roll holder and TV not able to connect to our devices. When these issues were surfaced to management, it took an hour for the room change and even then the management wasn't apologetic or empathetic. In the end we got late checkout and breakfast thrown in, though breakfast was pretty average. Ordered food delivery, and the duty manager delivered it to our room but not without reminding us that we've got to pick it up from reception next time. Gym booking was poorly managed as it was some distance away from the main property but you had to travel there physically to book a slot. If I had paid half the price, these standards might acceptable (just barely) - but definitely not when they are charging 5* prices. Disappointed in their sell of luxury - this visit was FAR from it.

My wife and I booked an overnight stay through Accor and we indicated in the online check-in as before 12pm as it was an option with the online check-in. We arrived at about 1pm and were told that the room is not ready, we got it at about 2pm. I am not upset with the delay rather that if a online check-in provides an option of time of check-in, the hotel should adhere to it otherwise remove the option. Also for the second night we wanted a different room for our second night. As we thought that the hotel will give us the different room before 3pm we decided not to move around the island, just in case the hotel might want our current room back to be cleaned soonest for the next guest. To my disappointment, I only got the room at 6.00pm. You can see the hours wasted not being able to do much.

Incredible. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There was a certain older door man who was amazing and so friendly to our two year old son. He was great and so helpful during our stay. We were upgraded to a premier suite and also given a late check out of 5pm at the drop of a hat. we will def be coming back and recommending Sofitel to all of our friends and family

I was travelling with my son and he loved every bit of his stay in the hotel. From the theme song that played on TV to the swimming pool. This is my first time staying at Sofitel Sentosa, my experience was way below the price they are commanding from consumers. Here's a summary of my stay:
1) Check in time was 3pm but after arriving the property, my room was not ready till 4pm. Staff just told us to wait outside until room is ready. However, I was grateful for them to allow late checkouts till 2pm.
2) Had high tea at LeBar, there were 2 staff working. They were unfriendly throughout our interactions.
3) We had room service for dinner and requested for water. When the food came, there was no water and the staff said water is not part of his job, told us to call again. We had to call the third time for our water and it only came 2 hours later since we finished our food.
4) Had breakfast the next morning and food was decent. When I was digging into my fruit platter, I found there was MOULD on my grapes. How can you serve mouldy food at a 5 star hotel? I told the staff and was only offered a replacement.
5) While waiting for our shuttle bus at the lobby, we saw people alighting their vehicle and enter the hotel properly without safety check in via QR code and temperature checks. This doesn't make me feel safe staying at this hotel at all.
For the price I paid for my stay, I was extremely disappointed with my experience.

Was visiting as part of a business trip. Very luxurious design and surroundings but failed to deliver on some basics. Some simple things like not providing milk in the room for coffee for 3 days and only bring milk to the room after me having to ask twice. Buildings very spread out - rooms far from reception and frustrating that the gym is in a completely different building which they say you have to use a golf buggy to get to.

Booked a Prestige Suite for our weekday 3D2N staycation in late September
Waited in the queue for 20 min for our turn to check-in, then another 20min to get our room key, note there was only 1 guest ahead of us in the queue, imagine the waiting time if you are checking in on weekend. The staff at the counter is well mannered but obviously overwhelmed by work, she did explain booking is required for the pool, restaurant. However, she doesn't seem to be aware of the dining credit we bought together with the reservation and need to call back to the office to confirm our purchase and the credit amount.
The hotel ground is well maintained but can't quite say the same for their rooms. Sofitel took over the property 6 years ago and refurbish was done, however the prestige suite we checked in looked super tired. Wallpaper popping and peeling with yellow stains, deep cracks running through the toilet sink and chipped (I'm so worried it will just cracked into half during my stay), shower area floor with yellow stains, just to name a few. The room and toilet are clean (usual hotel standard, butnot dust-free), bed was comfortable but nothing exceptional.
Food at The cliff were nice, loved the freshly made pasta, I'm gladded I had bought the dining credits (sadly it also gave me a lot of trouble later ) as the price tags are not cheap. Staffs were very efficient, promptly taking our orders and sending food to our table, refilling our glasses, just don't expect personal touch or smiles. Pool was usually packed with people even on the weekdays but I truly enjoyed my rare pool time after long lockdown.
On the last day . we used fast check out since the queue was exceptionally long. I don't know what's the hotel SOP on billing, no copy of the bill was sent to my email. What made the matter worse was my credit card was charged the full dining amount without deducting dining credits. Emailed Sofitel to request for a copy of the bill, no reply for 2 days. Called and was told the bill will be sent within the same day, it didn't happen. Called again the next day for the bill, it was sent but the amounts ARE WRONG, it has no record of dining credit at all. Staff called back a few hours later and said refund has been triggered, process should complete in 2 weeks. AGAIN I WAS WRONG to think all are sorted out, up till today which is exactly 1 full monthe since Sofitel claimed refund is done, I have yet to receive the refund! Sent a chaser email to Sofitel, staff call back claimed they have overlook that the hotel's bank required my credit card CVV number to proceed with the refund. RIDICULOUS! How could I disclose my credit card details to a stranger and when I asked what's the hotel merchant bank, the staff replied "I don't know, I'm only a recept staff". Up till this very moment of writing this review, refund is still not yet settle and I'm still waiting for the hotel to response.
The staycation is overall OK but definitely NOT luxury as they claimed or used to be. Personally, I didn't have the experience of "art of luxury French-style hospitality" but for sure Sofitel does not know how to handle problems professionally and let alone service recovery.

We booked Sofitel for a staycation as it was our 1st wedding anniversary. The hotel was very considerate and sent us a piece of brownie cake to celebrate our anniversary. The environment of the hotel was great, lots of greeneries and of course, there are lots of peacocks strolling around as well. There is a small pool where guests could enjoy the fish kiss kiss massage and it is free of charge. The breakfast was not bad, with quite a fair range of varieties. But seems the waitresses were rather fresh and did not know what to do. We also had the dinner buffet in the same restaurant. We sat outside and appreciated the sunset view.The overall experience was pleasant.

I'm not sure why the ratings for this hotel and the google reviews are so great. It's not an accurate reflection of my recent experience at all.
Booked a 4D3N staycation at Sofitel Sentosa through luxury escapes.
1) Overall, the resort is very dated, very old, and definitely needs a lot of sprucing up. The attention to detail is definitely not there in terms of cleanliness (carpets were stained, outdoor furniture had bird poop on it, the sun tan beds near the poolside were stained and looked so disgustingly dirty, walls are not clean, etc). It felt so unclean that I had to sanitise everything in the room before feeling comfortable.
2) The resort is going through a bit of a renovation so the spa and gym was closed and if we had known this, we would not have chosen to stay at the hotel. In this sense, we did feel a bit blindsided by the luxury escapes and the hotel.
3) Experience was anything but 'luxury'. We were given physical paper coupons to present at the restaurant for our meals. Is this not the 21st century we're living in? Could they not just use a digital coupon if they really needed to issue us with coupons?
4) We were notified on our 2nd night of stay that there was going to be a fire alarm at 2pm the next day. It did not state how long the fire drill was going to go on for. We arrived back at the hotel at 4pm and realised that all power was cut off and was going to go on until 5.30pm. We stayed in our room without air conditioning or power until 530 and the power was still not up then, and the fire alarm kept ringing. Called guest services and they said they were not sure how long the power cut and fire drill would go on for. It was a nightmare in terms of communication to guests and a very unpleasant experience. The hotel did try to make up for it by presenting 2 very miserable macarons in our room with a note that they would be extending late checkout till 6pm the next day - honestly, not much of a saving grace as all I'd wanted to do was leave.
5) Service standard was really poor the entire time we were at the resort. The service staff at the bar or restaurant were really bad and not friendly at all.
6) The food at ALL of the restaurants (Lebar, The Cliff, and Kwee Zeen) was just downright not value for the amount we paid for. Food was not bad per se but average and the price was way above average.
7) The pool was so underwhelming (it was very murky, old, and very dated).
The only positive experience was that it had direct access to Palawan beach and was near the Sentosa shuttle stop.
Definitely expected more out of a Sofitel brand. If I had only paid SGD150 per night for this stay, I would be satisfied with the standard and experience I had. Definitely not worth the price at all.

We stayed during covid phase2 period so no buffet for brealfast but the option given were really pathetic and not nice. I had congee with dimsum (6pieces) both are cold, no fruits, no dessert given and feel like they were understaff, constantly need to request to fill up water, get spoons etc.
Check-in experience is bad. I waited 2hrs. Expecting to check-in at 2pm (did the pre-register, got the hotel sms) but it was only ready at 3.50pm. I had late checkout given but still this is unexpected.

It is really the best, having stayed so many different proporties in here, your hotel really exceeded my expectation. Complimentary shuttle bus services are every 30 minutes. Hotel -> RWS -> Vivo City. I would strongly suggest not to take bus 3 via beach station, frequency can be slow. Be sure to check out the bus schedule. And the journey will take you about 30 minutes.

A lot of hair was still seen on the sofa in the bedroom, just feels like the room was hastily cleaned, could not find the remote control for the tv and finally found it thrown on the floor at the corner of the room instead of being placed on the bed side table or near the TV, menu on the table was also hand drawn in pencil by kids.
On the other hand, customer service and concierge was very friendly, warm and hospitable.

I was on Level one and had a little deck with garden. Rooms are decent size and the bed is very comfy. Walls are paper thin so could hear all the excitement from the room next door... Thankfully they were quick.
