Nice place with peacocks roaming around and free parking. Near to a beach. The pool is very deep, mainly 2.5m and about 1.4m on the other side of the same pool. Though it is not very well maintained (as there is a smell near the poil) but it is nice for a quick swim.

It was a tedious process trying to reach the customer service by email or phone. Emails take days to respond or do not expect a response. It doesn't matter what time of the day you call the customer service as half the time the calls were not answered. Requests that were put in at the reception upon check-in and via email or call from your hotel room eg. reservation at The Cliff, were mostly not communicated which make the stay a dissatisfied experience. Nobody tell you that you have to go to The Cliff *physically* to make a reservation but please do so else you may risk not getting a table when you arrive there for lunch or dinner. Front desk should have known about this and advise guests accordingly. Staff are friendly but things are just not right. It seems messed up and you have to tell them many times to put in a simple request. Is there a problem with your frontend/backend system, workflow, people, coordination...? Something is not right as I have never experienced such disorganised service at any hotel in the world. Hope you can listen to what your customers have to say (as we mean well by being honest in our feedback) and improve as hospitality is all about customer service and satisfaction. Hope you have more satisfied customers in the future.

After a hard day of cabling caring, bike riding, louging and eating/drink, nice to come here for a drink and dinner. Great views, interesting wild life and a foot massage given by little fish nibbling at your feet and toes!

A beautiful place... Very good service and very comfortable room.
The pool is super nice with natural water!
More suggest for families with children.
But... A walk from the swimming pool side is a tanjog beach club... The weekend is cool.

Nice place for staycation. Had dinner at The Cliff, fantastic food and great services by the staffs there. Take note swimming pool closes at 7pm which I personally think it's way too early anyway.

Everything is nice about the resort except Lebar and staffs there. Rooms are quite big and well maintained. And the best part of the hotel is the pool, huge pool! And the staffs there are nice and friendly. Esp an Indian girl who severed us ice water with a cute smile was really sweet. Overall the experience was quite good and will consider this place again. :)

Love the service provided by the staff I ve interacted with, only concern is that the 2 leg table under the tv is dangerous. My 10 month old was under this table when the leg fell. Fortunately she was not hurt, but I d advise to remove it to prevent any future accidents.

Formerly a very nice facility outside of the hustle and bustle. But unfortunately unkempt and almost shabby. Condition and cleanliness are absolutely not the price range.

The rooms are beautiful with a great view. I had a wonderful stay and the staff were magnificent. The breakfast for me was great lots of choices. The turn down service with little sweet treats, love it!

Came here and liked the vibes. There is a shuttle bus from vivocity shopping mall to here so it's not too difficult to get here. The hotel is cozy with resort vibes and is beside the sea. There are a few areas such as buffet and ballrooms. Deco is classy plus resort style.

Comfortable spacious resort located in Sentosa. Big rooms and very friendly staff, they call themselves ambassadors, a title they really stood upto. Our check-in experience, which was quite early could have been much better had the front desk executive informed us much earlier as soon as she got our room prepared but it seems she was more inclined towards selling an extra night and when we didn't fall for it, she delayed informing us about room readiness. Apart from that initial blip, the rest of the days went great. Aaron at concierge is a gem of a help. So is their evening staff at one of the restaurants named Kwizeen. These guys went out of their way to meet our requests for help. Instances and people like those really force one to want to go to such places again and again.

The hotel also has very frequent shuttles to Universal Studios/central Sentosa hub and to main city center. So you don't even need to worry about moving around. Overall a nice, cosy place with lots of greenery and peacocks. And not to forget a good fish spa.

Very great staying experience here with large room (inclusive all of the ammenities as well as espresso machine). The staff was very friendly and informative. The place is quite that we can leave in the crowded city of Singapore with very modern and luxury design.
Many turkeys are walking the free path around the hotel even to the terrace of the room.

The room was so dusty that the dust level could be clearly seen on the cabinets. Housekeeping also affected our stay as the new towels were simply placed beside the bathtub with the used the towels not kept away. Things were also placed randomly when we went out during our stay and it makes us feel weird and uneasy upon returning. We also made a feedback upon our checkout to the checkout staff at the reception.

Price of luxury resort, experience worse than average JB and Bintan.
Small congested pool, outdated and under managed rooms, TV never worked during the stay and couldn't fix, balcony door makes extremely loud noise when other unit items and closes. Disappointing stay and won't be returning.

Nice hotel. Super modern bathroom with walk in shower. Sentosa itself is pretty removed from fun stuff downtown so if you want to do some walking and exploring this isn t the place for that.

My fiancee and I had a great experience staying at the villa. It was our first time staying at Sofitel and indeed it was a memoriable one. I booked a one night stay at the villa as we were celebrating my fiancee's birthday. It was really special when the hotel staff prepared a slice of cake, fruits and a bottle of wine upon checking in to villa 2. The villa was clean and perfect. The private pool was our favourite! Our needs were quickly attended to and no doubt the service provided by Sofitel was top notch. The staffs were so friendly and were very attentive. It was extra special when we got a plate of "kueh" for supper. I definitely did not see that coming. We couldn't ask for a better place to celebrate this special occassion.

We will certainly recommend Sofitel to our family and friends. Staying in Sofitel was our first time and definitely won't be our last. A hotel worth raving about. Keep up the good work and amazing service!

Went there for a stay right after the phase 2 kicked in a month ago, it was still pretty empty back then so the service was still good, but one major down point was that in their hotel packages they advertised that they had rental bicycle for guests, and for me and my friend who didn t drive, we were looking forward to using the bicycle to go around Sentosa.
But alas, they only had 1 functional bicycle out of the many others which were there. When I told them, they said I can just find another rental shop nearby to get a bicycle. I find this unacceptable that despite advertising it online, they are unable to provide and couldn t really be bothered about it

2nd visit within this month. Overall friendly and helpful front desk. Always so accomodating. Will look forward to the 3rd visit. Have been bragging to friends and colleagues about this resort. Definitely a place for my staycation.

Just celebrated my 29th birthday in this resort. I am already planning for the 3rd visit soon! Hopefully will get better offers and perks. Due to work commitments I can only do staycation within Singapore. Thus Sofitel Sentosa will be my only choice from now on!

Room is nice as before. Service is generally good and prompt.some equipments in the rooms needs replacing, eg reading lights is loose from e bed frame. Some of the pillow cases got holes in them. One of the towel was worn and tattered at the edge. Phone wasn't working well, power socket and phone cable are loose.

We had a dinner buffet. In our previous stay 1 yr ago, it was excellent. This time round, the experience was less pleasant - there is a Long interval between replenishment of some of the food items, eg grilled fish items which was not replenished for almost the whole duration of the dinner. Hot preparation station (bbq seafood) are unstaffed for Long period of times with no food prepared for customers. Oysters were very skinny. There was milky cuddled substance in the water when we asked for tea (no, we did not ask for milk). While we feedback to the manager, and there was some improvement to the service thereafter, credit to the manager For also waiving the bill.

Nonetheless, there was still good overall service from the rest of the hotel staff and we did enjoyed our stay even if there were certain aspect of the stay that wasn't up to our expectation (an expectation that was set by our previous stay I might add).

A nice hotel but next time would definitely choose something else.

Positives:
- Nice looking hotel from the outside
- Friendly staff; will help you with everything
- Complimentary pool with small fish cleansing your feet

Negatives:
- The furniture in the room very worn out a squeeking
- The master bedroom materace was very bad. It was quite old and hence soft and I was unable to lay on it with my aching back.
- The sofa bed for children is a joke!!! If you plan to accomodate children there and they are over 8 avoid it definitely!!!
- Some furniture (like the sofa you are supposed to sleep on/or your kids) was very dirty!
- The ceiling on the entrance to the room was all wet (for a long time for sure as it was moldy!!)
- The doors (especially to the bathroom) were so old that you could not open one wing of them unless you are a strong adult and exercise big power.
- AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, ALTHOUGH LOCATED ON SENTOSA, THE SHUTTELS ARE LESS THAN SATISFACTORY. You either take a bus drivig you accross the whole island before it arrives at the hotel or take a beach tram and than have to climb stairs through a forest part (which is nice at daytime but I don't know about after dark, the mosquitos will eat you alive before you arrive and if you have a stroller, it is no option).

We were deciding between Sofitel and Le Meridien and perhaps should take the second one as it is completely in the centre of all happening..

Excellent place. You need ticket to get in. If you show your reservation they will let you in. The hotel has shuttle takes too to Vivo City. Right opposite to the hotel there is a bus stop that will take you around the island. Very quite island lot of greenary. You can see the peacock dancing around. The rooms are spacious lots of privacy. Amazing staff. They have a different phone the other phone keeps ringing nobody picks up. Fantastic breakfast worth sitting by the ocean is fantastic very strongly recommend

We were thoroughly spoilt during our 2 night stay at Sofitel on Sentosa. Thank you to those who looked after us - especially Angela who went out of her way to take care of us and to make sure that my husband enjoyed his birthday.

Nice and comfortable stay, but the hotel interior is far inferior compared to other Sofitel hotels. Hotel staffs are helpful and are very friendly. The property is not an original Sofitel, instead it was acquired around 2 years ago (based on staff information)

# 1 HOTEL IN SINGAPORE * * * * * 5 STARS

# 1 HOTEL IN SINGAPORE * * * * * 5 STARS

Bonjour!

Over the last 30+ years of travel to more than 150+ cities throughout Europe, America and Asia, we have stayed at umpteen hotels ranging from charming family-owned boutique properties to international properties managed by corporate names such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Sheraton, Fairmont, InterContinental, Mandarin, Banyan Tree ... and just recently, much to our delight, Sofitel, for our very first time!

Every winter, on our way to spending about 3 months at our #1 vacation destination in the world - Thailand - for sun, surf, sand and smiles ... we transit through the island state of Singapore for about a week on our way there and another week or so on our way back to Canada.

This year, we spent 9 days at SOFITEL Sentosa ... and it is THE BEST HOTEL we have been to in Singapore over the years!!!

Unlike all the other hotels we have stayed at in this densely populated island republic of 5.5 million people, this particular property is more than just a modern luxury hotel ... it is a world-class resort with a touch of French elegance.

Sentosa means "peace & tranquility" in the Malay language of Singapore's indigenous population ... and SOFITEL's resort & spa is exactly that: peaceful & tranquil.

Peacocks roam freely.

Drapery adorn the classic pillars along the walkways and verandas.

A pink glass chandelier welcomes you from the ceiling at the lobby.

The seabreeze seductively wafts by and strokes your hair.

Teams of little fish tickle your feet in the pond.

In the bar lounge, a pianist tickles the ivories.

If you like your bed large, plush and luxuriously soft, then you're in heaven here at SOFITEL Sentosa!

Your chambermaid tempts you everyday with tiny offerings of sinfully good chocolate.

It is as beautiful during the day as it is in the evening when a totally different ambiance of romance graces the colonial courtyards and swimming pool with their theatrical lighting texture.

SOFITEL Sentosa is far from the maddening crowd ... but if crowd therapy is what you want, a complimentary shuttle service will take you to the mainland every 30 minutes.

So (conveniently) near and yet so (relaxingly) far from the hustle & bustle of the city.

We were here over 30 years ago at this same place which was under a different ownership & management at that time ... but it is no longer the same place under SOFITEL's magical touch this time!

Hotel manager Frederik Deman and his team have transformed this landmark site to a remarkably outstanding place of luxurious peace & tranquility with their exceptional level of hospitality, service and attention to detail.

C'est Si Bon!

Great room with amenities, Good experience with hotel staff, welcoming but more than a few lacked knowledge of Accor Plus member privileges as we had to explain and they had to refer to seniors before firming their response, specially with Restaurant discounts, spa facility access.

Great location in Sentosa with complimentary shuttle service. Big leisure pool but limited space for kids and amateur swimmers, 80% of the area being 2.4m deep. We found pool bar staff not making any customers away of drink specials i.e. Sunday discounts etc advertised on hotel website & possibly charging full price. We had to ask for the discounts to be applied to our order that was not auto applied.

We dined in at Kwee Zeen restaurant more than a few times, the menu offering was extensive but underwhelming delivery lacking flavor, basically pretty average with most things we tried. We did end up dining elsewhere which was disappointing considering our trip was aimed at spending most time at the resort.

Great Spa facility, one of the best experienced.

As this was a gift for my friends for their pre wedding holidays, they had thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the hotel. Also, a nice gesture of a well-thought gift really added shine to their entire experience.

Thank you.

Great property, service has plenty of room for improvement.

Rooms are spacious but our basin had leak and the counter always had a puddle as a result! Something housekeeping should have flagged... Pool area is nice but the pool bar needs more staff. Two people managing 60+ guests by the pool on a hot day = long waits for everything!

Best place to spend your time in Sentosa for me till I come back again and try one of the hotels in Sentosa next time. Nice view and swimming pool, restaurants. Spiritual place to have rest and clear your mind

Our stay at Sofitel resort exceeded our expectations and we were truly delighted with the suite as well as the service we received !

The suite itself was huge and intricately decorated with a high level of detail. It had an open concept and plenty of space to lounge around- not to mention the large private pool and cabanas just outside.(see pic)

The sound system in the hall was great, and we could hang out at the pool with our favourite beats playing in the background. We also had an interesting experience with a visit by two curious feathered guests which was quite entertaining (see pic)
This further accentuated the feel of being close to nature as there was plenty of flora just outside the suite itself and it gave a relaxing and soothing feel to the place.

The service we reveived was great, and our needs were met within minutes of calling them- regardless of whether it was to request for more candles or to borrow a lighter, the staff always came promptly and served us with a smile.

The rooms were very cozy too and the awesome jacuzzi bathtub in the master bedroom was truly the icing on the cake!

Overall, it was a luxurious and memorable getaway and we would surely come back again!

It was our anniversary, as stated on our booking. We arrived early hoping to get an early check in but instead we were only issued a room at 4pm. We were offered drink vouchers at the bar and asked to go to the bar counter but we were greeted by a hostile bartender. He questioned how "dry" we were as we were in our beach wear. We had to entertain ourselves by the beach and at the pool while waiting for the room to be ready, despite the delay, we were greeted like this?!

We eventually got to our prestige suite and the concierge insisted that our bag was already in the room. Nope, it wasn't there. We waited for a while, desperate to freshen up. No bag. We ended up calling the front desk and eventually our bag showed up and the porter was expecting a tip?!?
The best part of our entire stay was at the spa. The ladies that served us were skilful and friendly.

Overall the stay was disappointingly below expectations. We did get 2 complimentary slices of anniversary cakes but I trust you'd agree that it's the overall experience that weighs far more than any cake you can offer.

Very nice after the renovation.. up to the usual sofitel standards. Very friendly staff and the ambience was good. There is a free shuttle to paragon in orchard too. The environment is very serene and tranquil. Would highly this place for a leisurely afternoon or a comfortable stay.

Flexibility is important. The place could do with some additional lightings around the ponds and outside the main entrance. It will enhance the place. It will offer better view of the walk-way as the black marble floor could be a hazard at some corners of your corridors.

It's a very nice property. I'm personally just not a fan of the gaudy and loud interiors at Sofitel properties in general. Otherwise, very friendly staff and good breakfast spread. Had a comfortable stay.

Recently attended a beautiful wedding at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa. Top-notch customer service who even offered and helped with exchanging our money into smaller denominations even though she had to walk about 15mins! Will be back again sometime but this time for a staycation!

We went for a staycation to relax, but the lackadaisical attitude of this hotel ended up stressing more than relaxing us.

First things first: the hotel and its grounds are absolutely beautiful, which is why we chose the place to begin with. The spa was another reason but as you will see later, we would have been better off going to any other hotel. We paid full price for our rooms, and certainly did not deserve to be treated as badly as we were.

I booked the rooms one month in advance, during which I specifically enquired about the spa. I was told that hotel guests were entitled to a 10% discount, and that I could book the spa during check in.

Foolish me assumed that this meant that there were spaces reserved for hotel guests - so I was mightily disappointed to find no more availability on check in 3 days before the stay. I emailed the hotel and was informed that I should have booked the spa 3 weeks before and it is on a "first come first served" basis. The hotel has thus far not replied to my question on why I was not told this one month ago.

On the day of check in itself, I had already informed the hotel that we would be arriving at 1 pm, but our rooms were not available yet (which is fair as official check in time is 3 pm), so we went for high tea while we waited. Unfortunately, at 4 pm the rooms were not ready yet, and we only got our rooms past 5 pm.

Our pool reservations were also screwed up by the hotel, and we were only at the pool for a few minutes when we were asked to leave because the staff claimed our time was up.

It became a running joke how slowly things took to come when we requested for items to be brought to the room. A request for 2 hard pillows became 1 soft pillow brought to the room, which I had to walk down to the concierge myself to rectify. A request for cutlery made 2 days ago, as well as to fix our TV remote, has still not been addressed at time of check out.

Dirty dishes from the night before were left outside our door for another night which must have delighted the resident lizards.

During check out, we were billed for breakfast which we did not have. When I disputed that, a manager appeared who did not seem to believe me and kept asking if I was sure my friends had not gone out of the room for breakfast. I was kept waiting while she personally went to the restaurant to investigate if this nefarious felon of a hotel guest was trying to pull a fast one on her. In the end, she told me that it had been taken off the bill and walked away with nary an apology.

Our stay at Sofitel has left us with a bad taste in our mouths. Needless to say, we will not be back. I have had better service from a backpacker's hostel
