This was my second stay at Sirata and I was equally satisfied as my first stay. We booked through TravelZoo to take advantage of the free breakfast voucher. Check-in was quick and efficient and the room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping was limited due to Covid, but it was not an inconvenience. The rooms was fully stocked with towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. and extra towels and linens were still available upon request. Masks were required in the restaurants and lobbies and all the staff wore masks. Sirata is located in the heart of Gulf Blvd, with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The resort has direct beach access, 2 pools, 3 restaurants and bars and lots of activities such as bike rides, snorkeling, jet ski rentals and boat tours. The resort is a slightly older establishment, but management has done a great job with remodeling and upkeep. If you're look for fun and relaxation, Sirata is a great choice

Spent the last day of our vacation here. Had lite lunch and cocktails at Harry's Beach Bar. Food was good as were the drinks. After a while we made our down to the beach to spend the rest of our afternoon.

I really like the grounds of this hotel. Both pool areas are comfortable the outside restaurants provide live entertainment daily. The rooms were clean and the beds really comfortable. The hotel is definitely older, but the staff does a nice job in upkeep.

Front desk staff was not helpful they left us waiting for more then 6 hours on an answer on checking out early. We informed the desk before checkout time at 9am that we needed to leave a day early and the girl said no problem and she would verify it was ok and get back with us. It took 6 hours with no response no one would answer the phone at the hotel even. So finally I replied to a fd agent text about it. By 4pm I was told they would not refund the other night that it was their policy. Why didn t the agent say that this morning!!!

Then there is the room...if you go in and compare this to a chain hotel you will be highly disappointed. Other then the amenities of the resort the room is not worth the money. It was tiny and no soap in the bathroom to wash hands with. Light comes in under the door because it doesn t seal at the bottom. The room is just not resort quality. I even asked the housekeeper for a bar of soap for the sink and she didn t have any. Sheet were clean but needed to be replaced they definitely were worn.

Our original poor review was deleted instead of responded to. We were to stay at the hotel March 25-27, 2020. It was our stop after Disney. When Disney closed, to be responsible, as is asked by the WHO and CDC, we decided for our health and the health of others that we would cancel the rest of our vacation. Paul , answered our call and told us there was nothing to worry about and that we would not be getting a refund at all. We will not ever stay here and will not advise anyone else to either. If you can't be accommodating during a pandemic, when will you be?

Very helpful for showing you where things are., Housekeeping was great and responsive to your needs, maintainence responded rapidly when notified. Beautiful landscape and beach was absolutely outstanding. Restaurants were great

I was shopping for a resort for a night with an ocean view for a affordable price. I narrowed it down to the Sirata and another near by. I called both to ensure a ocean view, the woman I spoke with said that because it was the off-season they were very slow and wouldn't have an issue accommodating, so I booked. Upon check in, they swapped me to 3 separate rooms, none of which had an ocean view. At the end I just gave up because it was already 11pm when I checked in. In addition, I checked in at 11pm and had to check out at 11am. This did not give me enough time to take advantage of the "amenities" that they charged an additional $45 "resort" fee for. The place was empty, you would think you'd do your best to take care of any guests you had during this holiday season. But I spoke to 2 separate people at the front desk that weren't willing to do anything to try rectify the situation.

Had a great time here. Zak, a clerk at the front desk hooked us up with a better room than the one we booked for no extra charge. Amenities we're clean, room was great, parking was easy. I'd like to see the pool bars open later and better staffed but I suppose Covid 19 could be effecting that. Would recommend to a friend.

We had our wedding here and the venue was beautiful but the customer service aspect wasn't so great. Our original coordinator changed four months before the wedding; our original coordinator was great with communication and documentation and the new coordinator was not. We had to constantly follow-up and refer her back to previous communications regarding preferences and attempt to contact people higher up, who were also unresponsive. If it weren't for our external coordinator our wedding would have been a mess. Again, the venue was beautiful but the event would have been drastically different if it weren't for our external coordinator.

The Sirata itself: the food was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive to us and our guests. The venue was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were nice but the hotel failed to follow requests regarding room cleaning for the bridal suite the night of the wedding. Overall if you are an organized person and are confident that you will not need the help of the Sirata to make your wedding go off without a hitch then I would definitely recommend them. If you are relying on them to help make it happen I would look elsewhere.

Only giving this hotel two stars because the access to the beach and the pools were super nice! & Eddie at the compass grill was SUPER nice and helpful, the best waiter there!
To start from the beginnings check in time was 4. We got there at 4 and tried to check in only to be met with a super long line at check in.
We waited only to be told our room was not ready and would be ready soon. I have a four month old, so waiting outside in our car turned into walking towards the beach to entertain her. We waited an hour for a call from the front desk, never got one.So we went and waited in line once and finally got to get our keys for the room at 530!
Once we got our keys and went to the room the room keys didn t work!
We went back to the front only to be told if our key didn t work we have to call security.
When we finally got into our room we were all a little underwhelmed with the room. There were mascara stains on our bed sheets and the bathroom smelled like urine.
There wasn t but one roll of toilet paper and no extras.
We ended up going to the rum runner cafe that s at the hotel and sat at a table for 20 minutes and not one server looked at us or even bothered to take our drink order. We Ended up leaving and going to the hotel next door and eating there, they had better service!
My sister ended up leaving a review that day and the hotel did call and apologize and gave us a $75 credit for our stay.
We did not want our room cleaned as we were only staying two nights and we had a lot of things. The next morning we woke up and I requested 4 towels and more toilet paper. They told me it would be brought to the room. That was at 10:30am.
When we came back from our beach day at 6pm nothing had to been brought and I had to call and request it two more times and wait 30 minutes for new towels and toilet paper. The office was right by our room.
Going back to the mornings, we ate breakfast at the compass grille because we had breakfast vouchers.
The staff there was absolutely clueless and the only person that knew what they were doing was Eddie. He was doing work for everyone. Checking the buffet, doing the bar, and waiting on our table! Thank you Eddie!!
All the other staff stood around talking.
This happened both mornings we were there. The second morning being the worst morning.
The second morning the staff kept coming and knocking on our door really early and wouldn t stop. We even put the do not disturb sign out. I don t get why they didn t understand do not disturb.
Also the showers are terrible. The go from straight cold to scalding hot so it burned my four month old and I the first time, and it was very challenging to shower her after that.
The toilets run and you can hear it all night long, and you can also hear when people flush ALL NIGHT LONG.
I will not recommend this hotel to ANYONE. I don t understand why our room wasn t ready for check in when we watched the cleaning crew come out of the room when we pulled up.
They are very unorganized and made our spring break very stressful as we drove from Texas (14 hours) and just wanted to get to our room and relax.
We even called and asked if our room would be ready when we got there. And they said yes.

Restaurants were very short staffed making it a very long wait to get seated and to get your food. Only one kitchen cooking for two restaurants. Only have 30% staff taking care of full capacity hotel guests.
Our room did not get cleaned while we were there. There was a semi kitchen area but no utensils in the room.
The whole place looks like it is old and needs to be updated.
I won t be back

The hotel itself is very nice, and my conference recommended them as an alternate location if I couldn't get into the conference the hotel was being held at. The food on-site is great and the rooms offer great views of the beach and the city. The property is clean, too. However, the hotel feels mismanaged. When trying to book, I couldn't book through the hotel because they never picked up the phone, and when they did, I got transferred around without getting a straight answer. On trying to get reimbursed, they told my coworker that there is no record of her staying for the first night when we checked in. They lost our credit card information when they switched computer systems during the week. I might consider staying again but would explore other options before having to deal with the Sirata management again. Since getting home, it's been a headache.

Went to meet someone staying at the Sirata and was charged 15.00 to park for 1 hour! ( dinnertime). That is a ridiculous! Rooms are also outdated and smelly! Def not worth what they were paying for the room.

The rooms are old and desperate need of an upgrade, not just some new paint and furniture. The window unit AC doesn t keep the humidity down. The portable Dehumidifier in room has to be emptied multiple times a day if you want it to run, the change filter light is lit up.... no telling when that was last changed. I know after 24 hours I developed a sore throat and feel it was directly related to the air quality. Our room was small and bathroom was tiny. There was nowhere to hang our used beach towels or bathing suits.

Room service is not doing daily cleanings due to COVID, which is fine, but we couldn t reach room service or the front desk to get new towels our entire 3 night trip. We put our garbage out in front of our room where it stayed for 24 hours before it was emptied.

Parking is a nightmare - if you leave and come back in the evening, good luck. We ended up having to park across the street in an overflow parking lot.

The beds were comfortable. The pools are okay. The beach and chairs are nice. If you are on the fence between this place and another spend the extra $25-50 a night and stay somewhere else.

I had a great time at Sirata! The service was excellent. Beach is beautiful! The resort was clean and well kept. Loved the pool and the free cocktail hour every night. The bands at the bar were a nice surprise. Highly recommend!

My balcony beach view was actually a balcony beach bar view. Very loud crowds til midnight, even though I was assured the bars closed at 10. I immediately asked for a room change and was given a room with highway view and no balcony. Asked for a different room but was told resort was full and they only had my original room available. Asked for manager but was told one would not be available until 10 the next morning. I asked at that time for the manager to call me. To date I still have not received that phone call. To make matters even worse our room a wreaked of death and onion. The floors made our feet black with filth and I swear the A/C was not working properly as we woke all throughout the night drenched in sweat. Lastly, my VIP status was not brought up, so I had to ask myself. I will never stay here again nor will I ever recommend any others to stay here.

Wonderful service throughout the resort from everyone! Clean updated rooms, pet friendly, nice restaurants and bars, free beach loungers. The list goes on and on with nothing but positive feed back! Loved it!

Great location! Get the suite rooms, full fridge and microwave. Two separate rooms and TVs, good for a small family. Bar at Pool is open late and busy. Had breakfast package and good deal on weekends with buffet. Coffee cake is excellent!

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Safety protocols in place due to COVID19. Great beach views. Quick check-in/check-out. Good food on site. This resort is a total package. We barely needed to leave as it was all right there for us!
My only complaint is that we couldn t use our own beach umbrella and had to rent theirs daily, but it wasn t too big of a deal.

I would like a call in regards to my recent stay and my future stay. I had one of the worst experiences this weekend standing in line for over an hour to check into our room and then be told we'll get a text which never happened went back in and complained and magically got a room 2248 once we got to our room the door was wide open and full of maids waiting for maintenance for the clogged toilet from previous guests I room was extremely hot and we needed more towels and blankets I also requested a box fan all from the front desk someone brought us three towels no blankets and no fan I told the gentleman we were supposed to get blankets which he shouted back they didn't tell me that he said he'd be back and never brought them and also never got the fan at all the staff was extremely rude the only person that had any customer service was BILLIE. This is not the first stay we've had but it might be our last.

I booked a room here for the weekend and it was not clean stains all over the bed and floors not clean. When I went to talk to someone that day the line was an hour long, they wouldn t speak to me unless I waited in the line all over again after I already waited an hour and a half to check into a gross room. Highly disappointed.
Looks nothing like the pictures.
Looks like a Motel 8.
Rooms were muggy and hot.
Stains on the bed.
I had to just book another hotel off the property the room was so nasty. I didn t even want to take my shoes off in it.

We used to vacation at the Sirata beach Resort it is I believe one of the only places in the United States that you can go that is all inclusive the food the atmosphere the beach and if you ever go to Harry's or Rum Runners make sure you ask for Travis He is the most awesome server

Very nice resort, they are in the middle of updating some areas, but great beach access. Only downside was not having hot water the last morning due to their reconstruction but overall that's a small thing. Was here on business, but would definitely take my family back there

Fun old-time beach resort. Three restaurants. Two pools. Music on Fri. & Sat. Two beach bars. COVID safety precautions followed. Decent rates. Beautiful section of the beach. Old, but good shape.

Its rated as a 4-star hotel and it meets those standards, the strip of beach near the hotel is private and only other people who are staying in the hotel mag access it. The local, also private restaurants, occasionally have live musical performances. I stayed in the corner room with an absolutely gorgeous view, the hotel is quite small and not too many people stayed here, which made it quite easy to follow social distancing standards.

The price was very fair, the employees nice, and everything in between. Great hotel, met my very low standards.

Don't go, cockroaches in room. Outrageous prices and bad food. No maid service. Towels felt like sand paper. Coffee for six dollars a cup. Don't forget 30 a day for resort fee, which you get absolutely nothing. No coffee pot in room. Dirty bathroom.

This resort was beautiful and the staff is absolutely fantastic. Our ocean facing room throughout the day kept us sun soaked with amazing views of the ocean and sunsets. The on-site laundry is clean and has TV and the property is safe and secure. The gift shop has plenty of snacks and the 2 pools have food available with pleasant wait staff. The best part is the private beach spanning the back of the hotel giving guests plenty of space to lay out. There is access to any type of water sports you can imagine. I suggest an early morning run along the beach!! I want to again thank the staff that really enhanced our stay here they are the best.

Room had several cockroaches in bathroom and near bed. Cleanliness is an issue throughout. I packed up my bags after barely getting any sleep and reported our concerns to the front desk and they offered another room instead. I declined and they offered to refund our second night which I felt was fair. $200 / night for a dirty room with cockroaches is absurd. Spend your money elsewhere. Would not recommend.

This was our 3rd time there, it was not great by any means. First 2 times, great. This time.... no soap other than skincare soap in the rooms. Not one hand sanitizer bottle or stand in sight anywhere. Zero social distancing regulations, pool & beach towel were out a few times. Just overall experience has sadly gone down. The staff and employees however were great! Props to them. We wont be back for a 4thtime unless it's free. Just not worth the money.

This hotel should be called a motel. The condition of this motel made my getaway so miserable that I had to check out after only one night and move to another resort (a real resort) for the remainder of my trip in Florida. The room was so filthy that I had to take every towel I could find in the bathroom and create a path to walk on, otherwise my feet would be black on the bottom. The room was in need of repair, everything was falling apart and just outdated. The photos on their website are not an accurate representation of what you are signing up for.

To make matters worse, most likely due to their dire financial situation, which is apparent with the condition of their motel, they have refused to refund me the nights that I didn't even stay there. I booked through Priceline and even with the "partnership" this motel has with Priceline, the manager was completely unwilling to work with Priceline to resolve the issue and refund a portion of my stay. I was even willing to pay for the one night that I had to endure. Terrible customer service.

I truly believe any positive reviews you read for this place are not real and created by staff. There's no way someone would rate this place 5/5. Save your money, and vacation, and do not stay here!

This place is amazing! Very clean, lots of things to do, the staff is so sweet, amenities are great, and if you are a fan of breath taking sunsets, this is the place for you! I was there for my anniversary last weekend and Kristina from front desk checked me in an amazing room, with champagne, truffles and a card. It made our day so special. It's amazing how they can add a personal touch even tho they deal with so many guests. Thank you for this unforgettable experience, Sirata. We will be back.

The rooms are clean and deco was modern, and newly renovated. I had an ocean front king suite. The view was amazing! I also enjoyed the nightly wine, beers and rumrunner reception. I also enjoyed breakfast/dinner right on the sand. I will definitely return..... Bikes were available (included in the resort fee) will have to try bike riding next time.

Our check in process was fast and easy, even with us being a walk in. While the hotel may be dated, they more than make up for that with the size and views from the rooms. Also not to add the varies restaurants, and activities on site. We were in building 1 on the 5th floor facing the ocean.

Great place to stay with your family. We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and the restaurants were surprisingly very good. The rooms show a little wear and tear but I would certainly stay here again. No complaints from us!

This hotel is beautiful and clean. 2 pools, 3 restaurants and enormous beach front. Andy @ Harry's, Alex & Christine @ Compass Grille, JC & Brandon @ Rum Runners and all the unknown staff made our trip better. We will return.

We had our annual girls trip here last week and we loved it!! The staff was extremely friendly, especially Tommy and Jayme at the chair and umbrella rental, they were outstanding!! The only reason I didn t give it a 5 star was because of the resort fees and the maid service. We will definitely be back!!!

This is a very good Hotel for the money. The check in was as smooth as it gets. It was Bike Weekend and the front desk was on their game. The most important thing I want to know about a Hotel.... is it CLEAN? Everything else falls in line behind #1. Our room was very clean, from the hard wood (looking) tile, to the bathroom. Yes, the most important thing to me... the bed, 5 stars. The pools were very nice with a kiddie splash pad, to perfect hanging chairs surrounding a fire pit. the bar and grill at the pool made it very easy to have an umbrella drink and a bite to eat for lunch. Now... the reason it didn't get 5 stars. First the $40.00 a day "Resort Fee", we didn't us anything that wouldn't be included in any Hotel we have ever stayed at... A Pool??, brought our own beach chairs. A little much I think. The Dinner we had was.... hmmmm just OK.I would think the Dinner food would be at a high level, Fresh fish.... it wasn't. Lose the gravy resort fee, and raise the bar in your restaurants and I will be back.

Let me start by saying that prior to this experience, my family had returned to this resort annually for vacation. Beware! Front desk staff warned me that management had changed and the staff was being treated poorly and many customers have complained. Our rental car was damaged by flood water ON their property. They refused to help us in any way, telling us that it s not their fault that St. Pete Beach has sewer/plumbing problems and that we should just contact our insurance company. I demanded to have their insurance information as well and the manager gave me the name of a company that surprise surprise no longer covers them for liability! That was after going to the front desk and asking for him since he still didn t contact me 3 1/2 hours after the incident as staff had promised. We lost an entire day trying to get our rental car towed/replaced (my 17 month old s first vacation). Also they refused to block the area of the resort that the flooding occurred at and another customer saw multiple other cars get stuck too. A front desk member even went so far as to tell us that she was tired of apologizing to customers and she was probably going to quit. Wow!

All outdoor areas were great. Food was good. Little pricey for what it is but tasted good and convenient. The room however was filthy. Floor was so so dirty. Used bar of soap was in the shower and giant hairball in the corner. We were only checked in for 3 hours and they did give a full refund for what we paid.

Reasonably priced motel resort (room doors open directly outside). We had a room for six with a little kitchen. Bunk beds, a queen pullout, a king. Not much privacy as everyone walks through the master bedroom to get outside but it was still convenient for our family of five. They only gave us three bath towels, which seemed strange, but there are tons of towels by the pool. You're not supposed to drink alcohol on the beach but people were hiding little coolers and the sheriff didn't seem very strict (they drove by two or three times). The hotel has some rules about guests being able to drink within a certain distance of the bar. I didn't read them carefully. They had various bands and some pool games. Two restaurants with full bars located by two different pools. I'd definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay! Location is amazing! Walking to the beach and choice of pools and on resort dining was nice. Other activities within walking distance was a perk, too. There was plenty of room to social distance, which was nice and no one bothered us about masks. There were some low points...the extra blankets in the room were in rough shape, no room cleaning at all during our 3 night stay, ended up wiping the floor myself with a towel to deal with the sand. We ordered dinner from Rum Runners on our first night, they told us they couldn t bring the food to us because of Covid, but the next night we ordered from Compass Grille and they delivered pizza to our room. No one answered at room service and no one responded to the text number that was also listed. All that being said, we understand that they may be short handed and doing the best they can during a pandemic, and we still had a very nice time.

The first room we were given had a great view however the room was absolutely awful. The door would not lock, the sheets were stained, there was dust falling from the ceiling, rusted shower and the toilet wasn t connected to the ground. We requested to be moved. They gave us a new room which they called the executive suite . While this room was not falling apart, it s a far cry from an executive suite. Aside from the rooms, the property is nice and the restaurants exceeded my expectations.

That being said, I would not stay here again even for free however I would go back for a drink.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I wish someone warned me before ...

DO NOT STAY HERE! I wish someone warned me before we went last week. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because the restaurant and lobby staff are very nice.
We checked in early, dumped our bags, hit the restaurant and then the beach. On the way, we asked for bath towels to be brought to our room (there weren t any). A few hours later, tired, sandy and hungry we got back to our suite ready to shower and get dinner, but there still weren t any towels?! That s when we started looking around.
The first thing was the remote to the TV. A. There was only one, but 2 TVs? B. It didn t work and C. It was filthy inside of a clear plastic bag that was also dirty.
Then I noticed that the furniture was covered in dog hair and was visibly black on the edges from use. I even found dog food in the bedroom.
I realized that my kids feet were black from walking on the floor. My husband checked the bed and realized the sheets were stained with what looked like black grease and appeared to have never been changed. I say on the bed and noticed that I could see the outside bc the weather stripping was gone. This meant that the smoking corner created by someone next to our room would send cigarette smoke into our bedroom?! I could go on but the gist is, the room was DIRTY!!!
We decided to leave and I went to the lobby. I explained to the gentleman at the desk what the issue was and that we would be checking out. He agreed and stated that we didn t need to worry about any charges. I told him that we d charged a $20 umbrella to the room and I d gladly pay for it. He said not to worry about it.
We went next door and found another room, salvaging our vacation.
You can imagine my surprise when a few days later the GM texted me to ask how my stay was. I told him we d never stayed there and relayed the information. He told me he would look into it and get back to me. That is the last time I have heard from him. I have called, left voicemails, text messages to no end. I finally had to dispute the charge with my CC company.
When we checked in there were several unhappy guests in the lobby complaining about service and cleanliness and asking for the GM, and I should ve just turned around and left but I foolishly thought it would be fine.
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else until they get their act together.

Call down to the front desk it just rings and rings nobody answers and then they hang up. A leak above my toilet was told it was condensation, no it is not, but they'll find out, said that the rooms are not clean while staying in them. But if you look around it doesn't look like they clean them after they leave.

Old room smelly it's been a while but I'll never forget the worst placebo ever stayed. I think they were remodeling. I prepaid so they stuck me in the old run down rooms, not the updated rooms.

New ownership has ruined the overall guest experience. It just doesn't feel like the Sirata anymore. Out of service elevator, poor communication between front desk and housekeeping, curb appeal lackluster, and just a general vibe of indifference shown by staff.

The room was spacious and somewhat cheaply updated. The TV would not turn on, and the provided blow dryer blew the fuse every time I used it requiring a call to the office and a 15 minute delay. Though I acknowledge that bugs in Florida are a given, I counted six roaches during my four days there. Seemed silly to try and complain, as it would likely have meant changing rooms (a not especially effective solution given roaches' determination to be everywhere if in one place). All in all it was a hotel room for a work conference, so not great, not terrible.

I didn t mind my stay, however I wouldn t come back or recommend anyone to come it. It was just okay.

Things I didn t like: everything closes SO EARLY. We had nothing to do at night after 8pm. The food at all three restaurants was terrible, not to mention the sections were basically the same at each place. The wait staff was rude. Not all of them, some were great but the majority were rude. The coffee maker in my room was gross. The water container was not clean. I had two coffees out of it before I realized it was disgusting. The decor was kinda weird big loud play more words in my face when I wake up wasn t the best choice but not a big deal.

Thing I did like: the majority of the hotel was clean except mentioned above. I liked the locked refillable bathroom toiletries (less waste). The cleaning staff and management was very friendly. Free Chair rentals on the beach was fabulous. The free cocktail half hour was nice too. Beds were comfy and clean.

Staff is nice, rooms are clean.

It's very close to the beach witch is nice.
We had to pay an extra fee on arrival, and that really sucked.

The room was outdated, showerhead leaking/ spraying from fitting. Even though the room was outdated and tried to make it look up to date, you can still see it. I will give you this, the room was clean very well but still had a odor to it.

I booked through Aliegent Airlines, and unbeknownst to me, there was an extra "resort" fee after I payed in full already. It was $25 more a day, which cost me around $200 that I was unaware when the fine print said "taxes and fees" but the hotel said its normally $40/a day without booking with package.

this resort has a special area on the beach that protects Black Skimmers (birds) and they're nesting process. I really thought that was cool.
there are 2 pools so you dont have to completely walk to the other side of the hotel to swim.
there good live music at one of the bars, on Friday
most of the staff is nice and accommodating, I was told I could park in the employee parking twice, when other parking wasnt available.
there are options for watersports and Cruises (the one down the beach are cheaper thou)
Two of the sweetest lady's work by the south pool often doing African Braiding. They are very talented
CONS-
my biggest issues was parking. There was never any parking! I would often how to drop my disabled father off then park at the other side of the hotel.
there was no coffee pot in the room, my first time experiencing that
towels in the swimming area were usually empty.
the housekeeping only comes when you leave, so you have to ask for towels and take care of your own trash
our toilet was not working well, and overflowed once
poor security, the door looked like it had been kicked in to our room
Alot of loud drunk people after 5pm
All in all, I wouldn't return, unless other rooms were booked.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. We waited in line for nearly two hours to check in and then the lady at the front desk couldn't find my reservations even though I had two confirmation numbers. She finally found them and then insisted I only had one room not two and when I said then why do I have two numbers her response was to throw her hands up and said I don't know what to tell you. They finally gave us keys for two rooms but they were not 100% sure that one of the rooms wasn't already occupied. The vending machines were empty and there were bugs in our room. We WILL NOT be returning to this location. The only saving grace was the beach and the waitress at Harry's beach bar. She kept apologizing for not being able to use the drink tickets for anything useful.

Literally the perfect wedding spot! I could not be happier that me and my husband chose to get married here! After looking at quite a few locations on St. Pete Beach Kasey was amazing from day one when we toured the venue and was one of our deciding factors! She was hands on the ENTIRE almost year and a half and answered all of my MANY questions promptly. The room block got a bit messy when we sent out invites with the info and then was told there were no rooms left or they had to stay a minimum of 3 nights and Kasey quickly handled this for us and accommodated this SO well for us which took so much stress off of me. We wanted something beachy, yet fun and casual and the Sirata nailed this for us! I can't wait to go back year after year and celebrate!

We hosted out wedding at the Sirata Beach Resort and it was incredible! We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at the resort and Kelli & Jessica ensured everything went on without any hiccups! I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Kelli and Jessica were. They made sure everything from the decor, food, guests, etc were taken care. I worried about nothing! They even kept an eye on all the groomsmen to make sure they didn't celebrate too much before the ceremony ;D We had a rock and roll theme to our wedding that involved a lot of creativity and Kelli got very involved and even threw in some ideas that we used! The ceremony setup and scenery is gorgeous as well as the Royal Palm ballroom with sights of the beach, tropicana/downtown st pete, and the skyway bridge. All the lights lit up at night are beautiful and makes for an amazing backdrop. On top of that, the food was incredible! We selected the beef and chicken option. So many of our guests said it was one of the best steaks they have ever had. I could write a book with this review but overall this was the perfect venue for our wedding!

The first room they gave us on the ground floor of Building 1 was awful. It smelled terribly and you could hear all the noises coming from outside. The dishes in the kitchenette were dirty and had to be cleaned again. We got moved to a different room, which was better, but still matched the rest of the "resort", and by that I mean unkempt, lots of damaged tiles, random screws around, questionably clean kitchen, etc. The worst part of all of it, is the $25 per night resort fee. They told me that was discounted even. I'm wondering where that $25 per night does, because it obviously isn't being spent on maintaining the building.

Great location. Rumrunners and Harry's are awesome good and views. I stayed in building 2 on 3rd floor. View is amazing. This is not the biggest rooms but we choose the beach front room. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great place to stay!!

The main appeal of this "resort" is that it is literally on the beach with private beach access. The beach is pretty nice and we got 2 lounge chairs for free. One of the best things was the sunset gathering where they made a pre-mixed rum drink that they poured for free for 30 minutes; as much as you wanted. We only ate at the compass grille for breakfast, which we received for free through a Groupon and it was mediocre at best. The two main things that were underwhelming were how grungy the facilities and rooms were. It's clear that the buildings are very old and have had attempts at getting updated. Overall the rooms are not very nice, the bathroom sink faucet did not run well and many pieces of furniture were rotting where they met the floor. The beds were comfortable enough, however. The work out facilities were dirty and unkept. It smelled and the water fountain was suspect enough as to not use it at all. There was a lack of minimal equipment like floor mats. The second main complaint was the service. Throughout the entire resort no one seemed keen to care about helping the guests or going out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable. First we entered our room to find out that there were no hand towels and only one bath towel. We requested more towels repeatedly and it took over 6 hours to get more. The very next day they "refreshed" the room and took the towels we had without giving us new ones. It took another 6 hours and multiple requests to get more again. The room cleaning staff rolled their cleaning carts around the hallways leaving trails of drips all over the place; I definitely wouldn't have walked around barefoot, as much as that would have been nice. Lastly, the front desk was simply adequate but no where near welcoming or interested in going out of their way to help or care and the servers in the compass grille were unfriendly and seemed only interested in finishing their shift. The entire staff could use an overhaul and intensive training on true customer service. We will not be returning. On a similar note, while we were there, we met another couple from out of the country who had a disastrous experience here and had returned to the lovely area; while back in the area they returned here to attempt to wrap up the awful experience and the resort's unfulfilled promises to refund them for their stay. Clearly we got off easy and things could have been much worse.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions. I love the fact you can walk right out to the beach. Chairs and towels provided. They also have fire pits located around. Which makes it nice and cozy. I wish happy hour could last longer than an hour. By the time you stand in line for your drinks, time is up. Noooooo returning for more.

Sirata is a place we'd come back to. It's within walking distance of many restaurants. Rental car place on site for linger distance days. Beach access. Restaurant/bars on site were good. Nice room for a nice price.

Front desk team were incredibly friendly, even after dealing with a catagory 5 level Karen whom came before us, we loved being able to text message the consierge, the beach umbrella rental was a bit iffy bc they didn't use anything to identify the rental to our room, and the free drink ticket situation changed rules daily. Other that that it was a good resort.

Do not stay here. We were told we booked an Ocean front king suite that has been completely remodeled. We arrived on the check in day and was told that room was not available. They showed us a room from the 1970 s over looking a roof. Do not trust them. They are charging us because they said that is policy however they refuse to give me the room I paid for. Staying at a 5 star hotel for the same price instead
