Stay was horrible. Room very dirty with lots of ants and stains on the floor that apparently werent even cleaned by housekeeping. Contacted the manager and left a message on her voicemail and still have not had a response. The price you pay for the room and amenity fee is ridiculous. Not worth it. Ive stated there 6 years ago and was embarrassed to Have brought friends here. Nothing like it was at all!!

My husband and I used a groupon to stay at this place from August 28-30. We originally had booked it for our son and his family to stay with us but due to an illness they were not able to come with us. So we should have been able to have been for a room at $109. Also in the descriptions we had seen there were rooms with king size beds having a mini kitchen. Not only were we charged at the original price to include 6 people but our room only had a mini fridge and to full size beds. Yes we did have a balcony but in the description of the 3 different price options there is no mention of being charged extra for a balcony Room. Upon our arrival walking along the back side of the hotel where the beach is located, it smelled like dog poop. Once we were in our room the floors felt like it had not been swept and there was sand all over. There are "no smoking" signs around but nobody enforces them around the pool or the restaurant areas. Even in the groupon site it says "no smoking on the property". Yet they had a person Saturday walking around checking for people's wrist bands. The music in the area was not very loud so there was a person playing their own music but they were told to turn it off. Then when they tried to play it in a cabana they rented they were told they could not play it in there either even know it was not heard round the pool. This was ridiculous and unnecessary. The staff for checking in and out were rude and unprofessional.
My husband surprised me for my birthday by staying at Sirata..We checked in..loved the room and common areas until we checked out..my husband checked his bank account and he found 3 different charges..when we called the front desk named Cristina stated that by mistake the charged other room too and will take up to 7 days to get the money back.Advised her that wasn t acceptable that we needed our money back..she said nothing she can do and put us on hold for several minutes..every time that she was back to the line... on hold again..we called from another line trying to get an explanation and Michael picked up phone saying that he was the manager on duty..he said the same thing..a mistake from the billing department...if you re staying on this hotel..CHECK YOUR BILL AND BANK ACCOUNT BEFORE YOU LEAVE..mistake like this can cause overdraft fees or holds on your account or simply if you don t claim..they stay with the money..NEVER AGAIN..
The view was fantastic but the chicken quesadilla was very dry and the tortilla was extremely undercooked. Have to say they have an excellent Rum Runner though!
Meh. For how much you have to pay for these rooms, you'd think they would maintenance their air conditioners and clean the MOLD off the ceilings. Also, after driving 4 hours to get there we had to wait around for our room to be ready PAST our check in time. Most customer service centered places would say hey, go hang out at the pool, sorry for the inconvenience. No. We had to sit in our car for an hour with 3 very very cranky kids. Waste of money, should've stayed somewhere else.
Very nice resort. Had a great time. Weekend housekeeping was poor. Room weren't cleaned until 5:30 or 6. And then not very well. Other than that, great place
The worst DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE!!! BUGS NO POWER IN THE ROOM DIRTY FLOORS. AGAIN DO NOT STAY HERE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!
Fabulous resort! It's quirky decor far surpasses the surrounding typical corporate hotels. The staff is kind and helpful. When you're at Rum Runners, ask for Dakota. He's adorable! The food is "hotel" food but nobody is there for chips and salsa. Grab a fruity drink and head to the beach!
This "resort" was an utter disappointment. Pros: The view from the balcony on our oceanfront suite sans the construction. Cons: If this room was post remodel as we were told during booking, I would have hated to have seen it before. The trip started well, as check in was at 4, but our room wasn't ready until after 730pm. When booking directly with the resort, I was told our suite would be on the 6th floor, as far away from the construction as possible, and we probably would not hear anything. We were assigned to a suite on the 3rd floor, very close to the construction, and we heard the reverse beeping of a bulldozer, drills, and tile saws, every day and all day starting at 8am. The pillow cases were stained, and the sheets were never changed during the 6 days that we stayed. Housekeeping didn't show up until after 5pm every day, and I'm not sure what they did besides make the bed, and change some towels. The floors were covered in sand every day, including when we checked in. They weren't swept or vacuumed the entire time that we were there. Both sliding glass doors were covered in a dirty film and hand prints. The bathroom tile was from the 80s, the towel rack was hanging off of the wall, the toilet was loose and wobbled, and tge tank had to occasionally be opened to flush properly. There were water stains on the ceiling, and the phones, counters, and night stands were covered in a layer of dust. The Xbox room was sketchy and encompassed by nets that made it too dangerous for my son to go to by himself. The fitness center was about 250 square feet and had 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical that were in disrepair. The treadmills had to be set on 5.8 mph to obtain 3.5 actual mph. The Sprouts kids program has no supervision. The sundry shop didn't have near the supplies that the website states that it does. The sun sets at 830, but the staff collects all of the chairs and umbrellas at 5pm, and this is despite their signs saying 6pm. The staff indicates that it is St Pete beach law. Not sure as to how Tradewinds and the Plaza get away with leaving them out later... The Compass Grille's breakfast is below average, and as you can tell from my pictures, the food is covered in grease. The host is not friendly and is rude. The guard gate is occupied during the day for show, but after the guard gets off at 5pm give or take, the gate just stays up as if there were not one. The website states that the televisions are smart TVs that include Netflix and YouTube. This isn't the case, and they disable controls on the TV so that you can't use a set top box. I had to go purchase a universal remote from Walgreens to be able to use a fire TV with it. The Wifi is spotty and unusable, and the satellite tv goes in and out. I am definitely thankful for cellular hotspot. There was one small pool that was open, but it was murky and had debris floating in it. The music at Rum Runners was an analogy to the whole place, it had potential, but was grossly misplayed. Last but not least, my bill for the room charges was incorrect, and I had to have it adjusted 4 times. Check your bill! At $292 per night, this was the worst value of any hotel I've ever stayed at. I've paid much more and I've paid much less, and I have never been so dissatisfied. This place is a complete joke. I would implore you to carefully study all of the 3 to 5 star reviews, and vet them based upon how many reviews the reviewers have written. There is no way that the vast majority of these reviews were actual patrons. 2 days into my stay, i was sent a text message asking how my stay was going. After responding that I was dissatisfied, I received no follow-up at all. I would steer clear of this place for half the price of what I paid, and I would pay twice what I paid next time to have a better experience. This place needs to be purchased, bulldozed, and rebuilt with an entirely new staff.
Loved staying here. Right on the water. Food was great at the beach bar. Pool areas were clean and nice. Loved how comfy the beds were as well. Can't wait to go back.
Best value for nice beachfront resort for entire area...period. One of the few that you can see the beach and gulf from the pool area, bars, etc. Room and amenity remodels are great. Staff was excellent as well. Terrific laid back time here.
My husband and I stayed at the Sirata Beach Resort this past April for our 1 year wedding anniversary. The room was nice (I'm not real picky on whether or not the room is extremely updated or not because we went for beach and not the room), staff was nice and we really enjoyed our stay. We were extremely excited to find a resort that had an all inclusive package and once we got there were thinking "we would definitely come back!" We still may go back BUT while we were there we were informed the new owners were doing away with the all inclusive :(.
I still would recommend the resort but I really wish we had the option of the all inclusive if we plan another trip.
This place was horrible. It is outdated, the furniture is old, broken and worn out. There is mold, mildew and water stains all over. I had a kitchenette which was basically pointless because it did not have any utensils and not even a cup for coffee. If you are thinking you will get a good night sleep here, think again. We had some party animals hanging out in the hallways from midnight to 3am, I had to call security multiple times. I originally booked this place because I got a good deal through a travel site. Low and behold my credit card is essentially double the original bill with all of the hidden fees. I'm disputing with my credit card company still... 3 months later.... if I would have known that at the end of the day I was paying $600 for 3 nights, I would have opted for the nicer place next door. Save your money, save yourself the headache and don't book at Sirata.
I stayed at the Serata for a friends weddings and I must say the hotel itself and the beach is absolutely stunning. Our room was clean and looked a bit upscale and the view from the hotel was amazing. Since we were there for a wedding and didn t really have time to enjoy the emeritus I thought the resort fee was unnecessary but I understand that is part of their deal.
Very clean, many safety measures taken because of the virus. Beautiful large beach area which made it possible for social distancing. Was able to totally keep distance from groups. Fun area outdoors for eating and drinking. 3 pools for swimming. Has a children's pool as well. Very adamant on people wearing their masks and distancing. Did not allow anyone to enter without a mask or walk the halls without one. Beautiful rooms.
Friendly helpful staff before, during, and after trip. We had a couple little hiccups but you can thank Covid-19 for that. Spoke to the property manager and everything was fixed. Staff wore mask and maintained social distancing. Now if other guest would play by same rules would have been nice. Can't control other people who think covid-19 is a joke. Overall great trip and will stay there again.
Beautiful beachfront resort on St. Pete Beach. Plenty to do for the whole family. Two swimming pools, a splash pad. Two restaurants with outdoor seating and tiki bars.
We only stayed one night so we got to experience 2 full days and one overnight. We were there midweek and I wasn't necessarily the busiest time of the year so the resort was not packed. They're going to the middle of a renovation so one side of the resort was closed. The south side where we stayed was nice. Our room was right next to Rum Runners bar by the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were decent but nothing special at all. I honestly expected a little more considering they had just been renovated but they went with a very minimalist Beach vibe. We had a deal on Travelzoo which included breakfast, and chair for the beach. You can get towels for the chairs with your room key in a machine. Overall our experience was nice and we would go back.
After waiting over 55 minutes to check in, they gave us the wrong key and we had to truck all the way back across the resort and then gave us a room key for an occupied room, yup. After setting our stuff down we realized that there was luggage already there and somebody in the bathroom. We ran out of the room, left two of our belongings and had to get security to come open the door. The people at the front desk were extremely rude and I do not ever expect this level of service in my hometown. After paying additional money to have a second car park on the property, later in the evening it took 25 minutes to find a security guard to open a gate across the street. The rooms were very nice, but apparently there is a Groupon deal going and it's not exactly the st. Pete Beach crowd that I expected. Completely disappointed
Our room was very clean and nice, even without an ocean view! Check-in was quick and easy. We love going to Harry s beach bar for food and drinks. Travis at Harry s is always so welcoming and friendly! We really enjoy talking to him. He has More
There is a 45 dollars hidden fee per room every day. Towels were not very clean and the soap was weird too, we end up not using it. It has some nice views to the beach.
Beautiful beach. Hotel itself no gem. Smells funny, lobby is kept so ice cold you can't feel your extremities, little behind on maintenance but great location. Good budget option, but better to spend a little more and feel comfortable elsewhere.
Horrible room cleaning. Staff at restaurants is excellent as well as food and portion size. Just don't expect your room to be cleaned or linens to be replaced.
Stayed the weekend there for my birthday. Great staff and rooms. Service was great. Perfect place for a getaway. Love the pool and the beach. Chairs and umbrella on the beach was great. Ate at both restaurants and the food was delicious. I would recommend too everyone.
Nice place. I think it was built up over time. I was in an older room I believe (based on the gap at the bottom of the door) The a/c and dedicated dehumidifier were more than enough to compensate. The dehumidifier was a bit loud though.
Beautiful resort! I stayed a few weeks ago for my birthday weekend. Very quick check in process with friendly staff. The resort was very clean, masks required for indoor common areas. I really enjoyed the beach and 2 free chairs were included.
15 dollars to park in order to dine at one of your on site restaurants is ridiculous!! We paid it of course but it's definitely going to limit our return in the future. Loved Rum Runners though! Good food, drinks were delicious and live music was entertaining. Great idea to relaunch it on the beach with that view! The decor and colors are very South Beach. Excellent!
I have enjoyed the beach bars at the Sirata for years. The food and live music can't be beat. But they no longer allow the local residents to consistently park AND not without a significant price when they do allow the patrons that are here 365 days a year. So I've had to find an alternate beach venue to patronize. I still have fond memories of Harry's Beach Bar and the many sunsets I've enjoyed there..
We love the sirata but at times there has been service issues at Harry's Beach bar. The manager always does their best to make it right but it doesn't change the fact that's some of those issues continue to happen.
I booked a Groupon and dreaded coming after I had read all the negative reviews of late. We got here, check in was easy, our room although outdated was clean. We weren't expecting a 5star resort and we didn't get it. The staff were generally friendly, Shannon at rum runners was amazing, especially with kids. As with most holiday places drinks and food on location was a little pricey. Overall a good experience, I although I'm not sure I would pay "full price" for a vacation to here.
The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. There is a tub stopper if you want to take a bath. Love the pool and Harry's Bar. Great service. Rum Runner's inside the resort could improve on customer service. There are outdoor showers to wash sand off. It would have been way better if they had the fire going. Other than that it's right on the beach. What more can you ask for?!
The remodel is lovely...great room with spectacular view. Need the menus and info in the rooms and not on the t.v.. We struggled with the t.v. remote and we are pretty saavy with technology. Old people are not. All restaurants and bars had cocky not friendly bartendars but good food and drink.Compass is just ok. Still would return..great location.
The resort is great, the staff very friendly, and Harry's Beach bar is fantastic! Getcha a drink and order the pound of peel and eat shrimp. You'll thank me
You can't beat the location and the views at Sirata Beach Resort!! The pool areas and the beach bars are pretty awesome too. They have a happy hour for adults with free wine, rum punch, and beer for patrons from 6-6:30 pm. The rooms themselves could use a little face-lift. The first thing we smelled when we walked into our room was mildew/musty/mold. The AC clearly hadn't been run in a while, and it seems to be either hot or cold in the room. The bathroom is oddly configured with a tiny sink outside the toilet and shower area, right at the front door entrance. The shower is super narrow, luckily they have a curved shower rod to give you a bit more room. The floor in the bathroom is in dire need of some TLC. The vinyl is cracking and separating where you step out of the shower. If it weren't for the prime location and the GORGEOUS views, I wouldn't stay here again for the $700 we spent for 2 nights. My fiance wanted me to give them a 1 star, I was being generous with a 3 star rating. I met him in the middle and went with a 2 star rating. He kept referring to the place as "Motel 6", if that gives you any inclination as to the room situation. The pictures posted were from our hotel room balcony, that is why I wanted to give a 3. The views are STUPENDOUS!
I enjoyed this resort very much. Staff was very friendly. Outside surroundings were clean. Restaurants offered a good variety of food. Beach area was clean. Within walking distance of other restaurants, grocery store and beach shop. Would stay here again if in area.
This was a last minute add to our itinerary since my travel partner and i did not want to stay in the other place we rented. We really enjoyed the amenities and the clean room and ocean view. The staff was super nice as well. You really dont have to go anywhere unless you want to. We will go back 100%. Both of us loved it!
Beautiful oceanfront resort, fantastic customer service, great location, PET friendly, fantastic room, pools, beautiful sunset, gorgeous beach, delicious food, live music, fishing, and much more!!! My birthday boy (hubby) was super happy. What a glorious 3 day birthday weekend.
The stay was fine besides the fact that room service did not clean our rooms or bring us towels one time. All up until the last day when it all went down hill.
When I went to check out of our room, there was $157 of charges that we never charged to our room. There were $100+ in beach rentals when we never rented a single thing on the beach. They did take that off after a long fight. But there was a charge for a burger and 4 drinks that were $44 plus a $5 tip signed to my room an hour after I had breakfast and was on the Beach. The tab was signed Tyler M and my name is Tyler D. They wrote the check to my room which I never wrote a single tab to my room for that exact reason. They told me they would not remove it and I Would have to dispute it with the credit card company because we could not leave without paying for it. These are charges I never made. I felt unsettled and will never return to this resort ever again. 4 nights wasted and money given to an organization that does not care about their customers.
"Laid back beach property with 3 pools" is accurate. Staff, service, and experience we're all laid back and it showed. Wen with family for a birthday event and was incredibly overwhelmed by the relaxed attention, service, and ease of check-in all left much to be desired. Not very busy, but still left me aghast by the conditions of the rooms, underperforming a/c, and hour+ service times at the restaurant.
Ocean view suite is the best and my family had a great time watching the sunset from our balcony . I highly recommend this place as they are not like other properties where you would be charged for the beach benches on their private beach. We are having a great time!!
We are locals just wanted a quick staycation, started out rough, check in was ridiculous, really un organized, check in was at 4 didn't get our room till 7. Called before booking to verify all amenities were offered due to covid, mainly wanted to make sure pools were open. Reception verifies pools are open. We chose this resort due to it having 2 pools, to avoid crowding, after getting into our room, we found out 1 pool was closed for maintenance and wouldn't be available during our stay. Rooms were very nice, very clean, easy to navigate resort, we ate at 2 restaurants at the resort, both were delicious, service was good and friendly.
Came for a Stay-cation. Got our room upgraded to a suite at check in Overlooked the pool and the gulf. Room was clean and comfortable. A bit hard getting ahold of Room-service and Housekeeping, but overall we had a good time
Had a reservation for today 5/23/20 Memorial Day weekend. First of all there was no parking, we had to walk 3 blocks with all our luggage to the hotel to stand in an hour line in the sun. After we reached the book in desk we were informed that check in was at 4 pm as I looked at my phone literally 4 pm on the dot still our room was not ready. When we asked how long it would be they didn t tell us we can back at 5 pm our room was still not ready at this point between finding parking and trying to check it has been 3 hours. I am currently pregnant when we asked to speak to manager of course their excuse was covid 19 being a hotel and being aware how normally memorial weekends get and especially it s the first long weekend after being quarantined for them to use an excuse like covid for their lousy staff is ridiculous. It is 6:16 pm as I am writing this well deserved review and our room is still not ready. They haven t offered any sort of discount or given any explanation. When it comes to charging they go about really quick but when it comes to giving guest an explanation as to why it is 6:30 an the rooms are not ready they wanna go play around with a pandemic and blame it on covid instead of owing up to their lack of preparation. It couldn t get any more ridiculous than is.
Had not heard of this resort. There was a few things that were not great about check in. But there was nothing wrong with the room, the resort, or the staff. Highly recommend.
Service at Rumrunners at night was not as friendly as they may have been short staffed. Otherwise I would have given it a higher rating. I was overall very pleased with the result.
We had a great experience at the Sirata! A lot has changed since we were there last (all for the better). My favorite part was actually the texts I got throughout my stay. It was nice that they checked in with me and it was convenient to answer or ask questions from the beach and not need to call from the room. There were a couple of things that I didn't like...the overnight parking fee of $15 seems excessive. They give you one car free but an additional vehicle is $15. We needed to have a second vehicle there for airport travel. The other thing was the beach chair rentals - it's a little deceiving when they say you get two complimentary lounge chairs included in the resort fee. They are free but it's the second row of chairs. The front row are $20 and include an umbrella. You can't put up your own umbrella or chair I suppose unless you're on the outside of the marked area. I felt forced to rent the umbrella, even though I had my own but with two kids, I needed the shade. Overall, it was a good time and I would stay there again.
This is the worst resort on St. Pete beach. The rooms are old, smells like mold, really bad, A/C did not work, maintenance man came three times could not fix it, called and complained to customer service they said they will send him back he never came back after complaining many times at 1 AM they moved us to another room Which was occupied, then they moved us to another room. Customer service is the worst Spoke to customer service rep Paul at 1 AM instructed us to contact Billy in the morning Billy is the manager we came downstairs and asked for her she did not want to meet with us because she knew this was a complaint and did not want to give us the forms which is called complaint forms. This hotel is not worth staying up for the price they charge it s disgusting
This place is amazing! Many things to do, good food. A good place for a getaway or a vacation :) Beach mart is right across the street, pool is warm, and Rum Runners is amazing.
The resort was beautiful & the Amenities superb loved the pools close to the beach and the live music all day & night Saturday. We had a great girl vacay for 2 days! The rooms were clean & the view was amazing.
Comparable in price, but not as nice as neighboring resorts. Had a problem with cleaning service and it was addressed and compensated for. Upcharges for using more than two beach loungers per room. Not enough towels by the pools.
The Sirata Beach Resort has always been a family owned & operated resort. Within the last 2-yrs the Sirata was sold and upgrades are in process. I worry that with new ownership if the family values that have always been a significant reason for the historical success will be present. I expect the current owners will do everything to attract new visitor's and I hope they reach out to loyal vacationers and offer them incentives to continue staying here. We've never had a problem in the past & look forward to future stays. 3-pools, hot tubs, beach bars, live music, room service and a restaurant are just a few of the amenities. Get a Sirata card via website and get 10% off meals ordered via the beach bars menu and eat at tables near the bar or take back to your room. We have always stayed at the N. Tower complex on the Sirata grounds. Gift shop, conference rooms are additional amenities to name a few more. Great place!
Great time on weekend staycation! Service was good and there were plenty of fun activities for the family. The hotel was updated but would recommend that they do a deep clean it spruce things up.
Great place for the price, we got a travelzoo deal. We ate dinner at Rum Runners and the food was really good. The room was clean and the staff are helpful and nice. The beach was beautiful and they have complimentary chairs.
My husband and were staying at the Sirata in St. Petersburg Florida over Christmas and New Years. It was a great stay! A huge shout out to the security personnel, Becky/Becca and Cynthia the waitress from Run Runner. After a wonderful night of dinner and dancing I set my bag with my phone it on a table beside the dance floor. Someone must have mistakenly took it. When we alerted security Becky and Cynthia both stayed with us while we searched. Becky got us a new room key right away. They were so kind and helpful we can t thank them enough! Best staff we have ever run across. Thanks again! Gary and Karlee Iowa
Hotel rooms are clean, cold A/C, microwave, small sink for dish washing, refrigerator, balcony to people watch, white sandy beach 100 feet walk, 2 beach lounge chairs for guests, umbrellas cost extra, 2 outdoor pools, 2 bars, near pools, restaurant, wedding venue, free bikes to check out, exercise room, washeteria closed due to covid? The hotel shell looks older, but every thing else makes up for it.
We booked with them for one night this weekend. They allowed 100% of their rooms to be booked instead of limiting the number and being safe due to COVID19. When we arrived there was a line that wrapped all the way around Harry s. It was impossible to social distance. We were told that there was no parking, even though we had paid for a room. We checked in at check in time and were told they would call us when our room was ready. 3 hours later, still no call. We left the property and went else where due to the fact that there was no way to social distance Since and no one was wearing masks! We came back and complained and only then were they able to find something for us. When we went to go to the room we couldn t even get in the elevator without people trying to get in with us. There was no hand sanitizer anyplace but the front desk and they were not limiting the number of people in the elevators. At this point we turned in our Key!! Their management cares more about money than the health and safety of their guests and loyal customers! We will not be coming back!! Mind you we tried to call ahead of time but they sent all calls, except for new bookings to voicemail, which they did not respond to. We also left comments and sent messages to their Facebook account with no response!!
Overall, our stay was okay. Our room was decent and overlooked the pool. The cleanliness of the room however is what was disappointing. There was dirt/sand in the shower, sticky stains on the bathroom wall, and we had a few dirty towels. Our toilet broke and we called for 30+ minutes to get someone to fix it and we never got through to anyone. We had great service at Rum Runners and Harry's Beach bar.
Convenient, easy check in and out. Clean and easy to get around. Very kid friendly with a small playset on the beach, A little kids area that has turtles that spray water out of thier shells. For adults, bar areas. I would come back here.
We have stayed here for the last four years now. Last week we had a great time even with some construction and the Red Tide to deal with. I think this is the best value for a vacation in the area. Whenever we have had a problem here they have always fixed it quickly. Looking forward to seeing the results of the remaining renovations next year.
Nothing but positive things to say about this hotel! The renovations they did on the place look amazing - give it a very chill laid back beach vibe perfect for weddings / family / friend vacation location.
Food here at each of their pool / beach bars is SOOO GOOD!!
Had a conference here. The food was excellent. The rooms were nice. Elevators were a steam bath. Be sure to visit the rooftop bar and restaurant next door at sunset.
We absolutely LOVED Sirata!!! Just got back and planning our next trip here. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly. The pools and fun atmosphere were 5 star!! Loved the free cocktails at sunset each night! The bands by Rum Runners each night were fun and loved dancing to them!!
Outside of our room not being ready for 2 hours after the 4:00 check in and similar experiences when trying to check out, we had a great stay. The grounds are very nice, staff was friendly and the food/drink options were great! Our room felt a bit dated, was nothing fancy but we spent very little time there outside of sleeping. The beach, pools, restaurants and grounds were great. There were plenty of other great dining options, shops and other places to visit within walking distance. My family had a great time, thank you!
The amenities are really great for the price! On site dining is good, gym, gaming room, pools, hot tub, fire pits were great for the winter visit! Would stay again.
Everything was going great until I saw house roaches. Spotted 1 in the bathroom and about 5 inside of the refrigerator. All were babies so maybe they began to hatch at the end of my stay. Other than the bugs the room appeared to be clean. If you need anything from the front desk it s best to walk there because they will not answer the phone. The housekeepers never came until our last day (probably waiting for us to checkout). Instead of knocking and waiting, whoever it was, would knock on the door and walk away. They did this multiple times and after each knock we literally hopped right up to open the door and they were gone. It wasn t kids playing, it was the housekeeper rushing us out pretty much. I was loving this place until our last day when I started to see the bugs. Now I have to shake all of my belongings out to make sure I don t take any home. I can t even Fathom the thought of it being in the bed. We spent less time in the room until our last day and that is why I was able to really look.
We did not like this hotel. However, there are several buildings on property so maybe we got the worst/oldest one, building 4. It s a total dump. The room was filthy. I m glad I brought cleaning wipes to clean everything down before my kids touched stuff. We didn t even have a coffee maker in the room. What kind of hotel doesn t have a coffee maker in a family suite. The pool grill/bar was the highlight of our stay. Parking lot was terribly over parked. We are super disappointed after hearing good things and seeing misleading pictures on website. We ve checked this one off our list forever.
I absolutely loved this place. The beach was beautiful and large e lots of seating. It has a little store on site 3 restaurants. But the people were so nice. It's the atmosphere I loved. We are going back exact same time next summer I love it so much.
Wonderful beach resort with lots of amenities. Great place for a wedding, nice romantic weekend, or family getaway. A number of restaurants on site with a variety of food, beautiful pool, beautiful beach with lots of chairs available for rent. They even have a little truck that will bring you snacks and beverages.
I had an awesome time there... my room was spic and span clean... the pools were spectacular.... this place is great for families... ok so now the things they need to improve is the checking in or registration...when we got there there was an immense line... and lots of people complaining that their rooms were not ready.. we were on the line for 1 hour and then the electricity went out .. they wanted people to stay in line and wait.. at the end some guy gives us some drink coupons and told us we can come back when the electricity is on...
Our stay at the resort was pretty good, staff was great, food was good, pools and beach were great. We had a great time, and would consider this resort for our next trip, but the rooms could be better. The beds were comfortable, but the bathroom in our room was not. I almost had to sit down to shower as the shower head was at chest level. My in laws had a much nicer room with a much better bathroom. But all in all we had a great vacation.
Worst hotel we have stayed at. Everything had a fee and related to a tourist trap. Room was dirty, moldy, with lots of writing on walls. Please be smart and STEER CLEAR of this dump. A motel 8 has better rooms than Sirata!
