Our experience was exceptional especially having a magnificent view of the ocean. One suggestion for the room would be to include a microwave.
Absolutely love working this venue. As a wedding coordinator, I find the venue layout great and so so beautiful. Kelli is such a great communicator and was so helpful. Looking forward to working here again!

Room was nice & clean staff is friendly nice for a quick get away the reason for the 3 stars is
While we are trying to enjoy the pool they allowed a group of people partying loud music fowl mouths terrible while we were there with kids NO one came & told them to stop it ruined the whole day we tried both pools same thing happened
Awesome staff, excellent customer service, exceptionally tasting good food, and honestly the best quality french fries and sweet potato fries that I have had the pleasure of ordering in Florida. The sweet potato fries honestly tasted like they were just picked out of a garden in back of the building. The regular french fries had a robust flavor to them like a strong Russet potato. And what put them over the top and quality was they left the skins on which in my opinion makes a french fry of any type or winner. With most of the fruits and vegetables we eat the skin is what has the best nutrients for our body. I believe the restaurant at Sirata beach resort take this back into account very highly!
Over the last five years, I have inadvertently become a regular at this hotel once a year (more or less)....
I have attending a wedding here (as part of the wedding party), which was hosted on the premises. Between the sprawling but cozy layout, along with the on-site restaurant, pool and tiki bar, banquet hall, gift store, etc. there's so many reasons to love this place!
Sirata, I've found, is a great choice for anything from hosting a big event, to just taking a small relaxing weekend to get away to a beautiful place! ABSOLUTELY worth checking out!! :)
The reason I rated this a three it's an older hotel the room we stayed in was two queen beds
and was a bit cluttered with two big chairs at the entrance.
The hotel offers beach chairs but if you want to sit in the front row you have to pay a fee
And you are not allowed to bring an umbrella these guys that run the beach chair business are rude and they do not allow service animals we ended up going to de Soto beach for our dog which is great place to swim fish, and they allow dogs on the beach.
These guys just about ruined our trip
They told me that the police would come and probably fine me for my dog on the beach
They are rude and argumentative
a couple near us was told it was a liability for them having an umbrella so they had to rent one from them
I think they should have this on the website so everyone knows what to expect. Not going back there.
Absolutely disappointed. I saved and worked a lot of overtime to make this trip possible, I get there and it looked great. Get to my room and there is construction in front of the building. The beach front pool is ripped out. Of course I was not the only one complaining they did not have a room to move me to. They didn t even offer complimentary drinks for the inconvenience. The website is very misleading. Improvements are major construction. Don t worry though it s only 8am to 6pm. I would have left but I was foolish and booked flight and hotel together, it did not pay off. Plus, the resort is expensive. Go off the resort find the same activities for way cheaper. Resort jet ski 100 per hour. On St. John s pass you can have a jet ski for 2 hours for 135. I am disappointed that a large company like sirata would gladly take money of hard working people while not offering the amenities they claim.
We booked the Sirata Beach Resort for one night on Feb 19th. We have been checked into the hotel room for roughly 3.5 hours as I write this review - I honestly couldn t wait to write the review because our experience has been so terrible thus far, I honestly can t imagine it could miraculously get any better.
First, let me start by saying that the girl who checked us in was very polite and friendly. That s where my pleasant experience stops. When we arrived at our building we discovered that one of the elevators was broken (the sign appeared to be weathered so it s clear that it has been out of service for a while). We pushed the button and waited for the other elevator, which as you can imagine took forever (especially with a cranky two year old and an arm full of luggage). We finally arrive on our floor and attempt to open our door but quickly realized that pushing the door like a civilized adult wouldn t cut it, so after one solid shoulder shove, we were in!
We started to unpack our cooler and put things into the freezer but realized that the fridge wasn t cold. We figured maybe they had just cleaned the fridge and maybe it needed to get cold again. I noticed there was water on the floor in front of the fridge (maybe due to our unpacking) and wiped it up only to discover the floor was disgusting!!!!
I went down to the front desk to talk about this with someone and had the displeasure of meeting Alan. He was completely inconvenienced by my presence. When I expressed my concerns, he scoffed at me and said he would send someone up to clean our room... at 8PM. It s now 8:58PM and no one has arrived to clean. At this point, I quit. Do yourself a favor and save your money. I ve stayed at much cleaner places for less money.
I posted a review on yelp with pictures included if you would like to see pictures to support my review.
Not as pictured or described. Instead of resort imagine Beach town motel. (Jersey shore/ocean City vibe) Good for teens or anyone who doesn't care about their room.
Large gap between closed door and outside (think, mosquitoes). Room was barely cleaned. Surfaces were not even wiped down, smears and fingerprints all over the tables. Floor was filthy. Bathtub was stained with black footprints, rust/mold around faucet and tiling.
Housekeeping comes if they want to? We stayed for a week and had housekeeping a few times (2x by request). Sheets were never changed and floors were never cleaned. Sand everywhere.
Pools were dirty, always. Cups floating in the pool garbage left out by loungers.
Location is good. Short walk to beach. Short drive to downtown St. Petersburg(worth driving into for food).
Very poor covid response. :(
They put all the beach chairs close together and wouldn't let us move them to the empty side of their beach. The unmasked attendant became confrontational and got way too close when we tried to move them anyway. An otherwise nice resort, but I recommend avoiding.
I purchased the Groupon stay for my son for his bday weekend on Oct 2-4. I clarified ahead of time how to pay for taxes and resort fees that would be due at check in. I was emailed a docusign form to authorize these fees.
My credit card was charged as follows:
$56.50 on October 1
$156.50 on October 2 (at check in to cover incidentals),
$56.50 on October 5 (day after they had already checked out) and another
$56.50 today October 7!
Total of $325 in daily resort fee for TWO DAYS. The room itself was only $400! They added on all these fees in error.
I ha e now called a total of six times trying to wait on hold and tell the entire situation over and over again to the people that answer the front desk phones. They are all very sorry and will handle it , but the charges kept coming! So far the incidentals of $156.50 are the only ones that have fallen off.
They make excuses and empty apologies. Michael was THE WORST and should not be dealing with guests at all. Very condescending and patronizing. I explained I was not going to drive two hours to the hotel to have this all handled correctly in person and I wasn t going to have to keep calling daily when I get new charges and explain it all over again to who ever answers the phone this time. I m fed up with the charges to my card and Capital One will be the next call I make to dispute all of it. No guest should ever have to call 6 times now to have this rectified. It has left a very feeling towards this hotel just due to the erroneous charges on my credit card! Every time I m assured it is handled on their end and I will be receiving a credit but yet the next day I get a new alert that they ve charged it again, not credited it!
They all blame accounting dept
Watch your credit charge charges from Serita Beach Resort!!
We absolutely love the staff at Rim Runners. JC, Dom and Brandon are amazing. Brenda in events is so fun. But are favorite thing this visit was the Banana Boat
We only planned to stay one night. Four days later we finally said goodbye. Sun, fun, drinks and food. We'll be back and we're bringing more people with us.
Booked everything through Expedia and the price was great but when we got here they charged us an extra $500 in resort fees etc. then gave us an attitude about us questioning it. None of these fees were talked about anywhere when we booked. When you try to cancel all they ll give you is a credit for the next times you re here. We will never come back after this being our favorite place for years. $60 for a cabana a day, $20 a day for an umbrella but they do offer a lounger at no cost since it s part of the amenities. We ve already paid for a week in September but can t get a full refund. Sirata is now a huge disappointment and going forward we ll use Tradewinds or somewhere else. However the room was cleaned but before covid they had pots, pans and dishes for you to use as part of the kitchenette. Now there s nothing. Guess they don t care that they are losing guests because of the hidden fees and attitudes
Loved the location, and helpful/courteous staff. Phone in room 2220 was broken and vent in bathroom needed cleaning.
Went there for a wedding and reception. We had a great time. Good beach wedding & good food at the reception. Visited the tiki bar by the pool before the wedding for a drink. Nice atmosphere.
This place was. Nice..however,
We were there 5 days 4 nights..they didn't clean our room even once..not even freah coffee cups
The Resort was awesome..checkin was bery smooth and quick....staff was great...room was clean....food was great and we had a great time. The view was awesome and sunsets breathtaking as usual. Will be back!
Awesome Resort. Stratis at the front desk is the best! Thank you
I can t even begin to describe the awful experience I had here. We booked an OCEAN front room and was given a room overlooking the parking lot (see picture below). I went to the reception desk to ask for a different room since they clearly made a mistake and they said it was ocean view but you had to turn your head to the right to see the ocean (I wish I was kidding!!). They wouldn t budge and give me a different room so we ultimately left and went to the Tradewinds resort next door which fully accommodated us. Do not stay here it s awful!!!
Such a beautiful resort! My son and I recently visited to attend a dear friend's wedding. The wedding was on the beach and it was just gorgeous. The amenities were great and the wedding reception that was held on site was so very beautiful. Would highly recommend this beach resort.
Was there representing the USCG ... for a memorial service on beach .. thought $15 was steep for parking .. not drinking and providing service to a large family gathering
Sandar at check in was awesome, made my stay amazing!
This place is not a resort, it is a motel.
It's evident they have a new building that they post all the pictures on the website. When you get your room it is worse than a Super 8 or motel 6. Rooms are extremely small and old. At least 30 years old. No microwave, no coffee pot.
Air conditioning will not keep up. Rooms are extremely hot.
Standing room in bathroom is approximately 1 and a half feet wide by 2 and a half feet deep. Extremely small.
The entire issue with this is the price. We have two rooms for 4 nights at the price of $2,867.49.
We have been ripped off. They do a wonderful job at making this place seem like a resort so they can charge big prices and then stick you in a room that you could get elsewhere for $130 a night instead of paying $325 a night. Truth is, is that I can walk in off the street right now and get this same exact room for $130 a night off their website. Total rip off. We were told we would have microwave and coffee pot and once we got here they told us that they do not have them. Stay away from this place.
Husband and i were there for a week... The bar was great. I dont think they skimped on any alcohol!! The drinks tasted great. The food wasn't anything to write home abt other than their steak & cheese sub. That was delicious . The room was just ok. Though the roof leaked when it rained real hard. Had a big bathroom. Seemed to have trouble keeping the room warm being that it was beginning of Dec and chilly. Had nice big new tvs. Table, 4 chairs, fridge, microwave, toaster, plates, silverware , coffee maker, couch, balcony. Good thing I brought my own hair dryer tho. Bed was extremely comfy. Their coffee that was in the room was really horrendous. Better to walk to Dunkin Donuts. Bc of weather, only got to use pool/beach one day. But was beautiful. All in all, people seemed really nice, but sometimes was hard to get answer at front desk.
The resort is nice and most of all DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH! Pricing is great for what you get and lots in walking distance. If you ever visit the area plan a stay at The Sirata Resort!
Absolutely the worst beach resort I have ever stayed at... Was in town for the weekend to photograph the Buccaneers Giants game, so we decided to stay a few days before for and get some time in at the beach before the end of the 2019 season. Our room was in the far right building... The ac didn't work properly, the door has large gaps in it, the walls and floors were dirty and the overall impression was lower than that of the lowest motel I could have stayed at. In contrast to the Hotel Zamora offered everything that Sirata claims to have. I would not recommend anyone stying here until this place has undergone major renovations.
3 stars for 3 star hotel. Must of changed management in the last few years. Certainly not the Sirata I was accustom to. Service and quality 3 stars at best.
Our visit was fantastic.. When we first arrived there was a mix-up with our room but the desk clerk took care of the issue quickly and we had a fabulous room after the initial confusion. The amenities were amazing and we plan on going back in the future. The beach was beautiful and the sunset was breathe taking.
Rough experience during down season in December. Half of the amenities were closed and that made the expensive resort fee excessive. Rating would be higher probably in season if price doesn t shoot up
I'm actually a St Pete resident but always try and stay at the Sirata as much as possible. It's an amazing atmosphere and quite frankly, there's no other place on the beach like it. The ambiance is so chill for the adults and the teenagers enjoy it just as much as we do.
Some things about the resort were good, some not so much. The food was good, service and resort activities all good. They do weddings here and the receptions are on the 8th floor. This means loud thumping music resonates through the upper floors until 11 pm. Often the loud guests are in the parking lot afterwards. We also didnt get our room cleaned until 5 or 6 every day, which doesnt work well if you want to come back from the beach and get cleaned up for dinner.
One of our favorite spots. And now they've really out some money into the rooms with upgrades. The pool areas as well. They are doing a great job. Definitely a spot that has it all. Bars. Restaurants. Stores. You name it.
Nice hotel on the beach! All rooms are suites with kitchen and dishes! Comfy beds and nice showers. Added charge after booking, $40 per night for parking, beach chairs and umbrella, free cocktails each night for a half hour.
Clean rooms, recently updated. Lots of extras for the price. Free parking. Towels available at pool. Poolside bar. Walk right out to the Gulf to the white sand beach!
This is our 6th year here. It's hard to beat all of the things to do here.
The most gorgeous beach view I ever had in a US hotel. Our room was 2nd floor and the beach was so near to us. We had an amazing view. The rooms on the first floor could walk straight to the beach, but they had an obstructed view of the beach. The rooms were average since the property is old but they have tried to renovate it the best way they can in an existing structure. They have 3 restaurants, of which 2 have beach view. One is more lively party environment with music and the other is serene where u can just relax on the couch and enjoy the view and the vibes. They also offer free Yoga on Saturdays and craft (paid) classes for kids on Saturday and Sunday and a few other things which makes it a great weekend getaway. They provided us beach chairs with the rooms. The cabana is with extra 60$ and free water and paid bar and snack service. The stay was a amazing. They can certainly improve on housekeeping (the staff is not very friendly), the reception (the staff is good but understaffed, we had to wait almost 40 minutes to check-in). The biggest win was the view, hence the four stars.
Very good experience would come back. Anytime. Best vacation ever.
A lot of work being done there right now. Not their A game this time.
Our key reader didn t work and we were stuck outside our room for nearly 2 hours. Half of the privacy blinds were missing, there was mold in our bathroom, trash already in the trash can when we checked in, bedroom tv didn t work, food was mediocre at best. Parking? Good luck. Looking for a relaxing getaway? Keep looking! This place is not what it s hyped up to be. Probably good if you re not married and are between the ages of 18-25. Pretty ratchet place In my opinion. We spent our entire stay away from this place.
We loved the Sirata Beach resort as this was our third visit. We will definitely go back again. Great location right on the beach. Staff was great and everything needed was easily accessible including many food options, fun activities and onsite laundry. Easy walking distance to malls and restaurants as well. And the sunsets every night always spectacular.
Great stay! Even with all the safety restrictions our stay was delightful! Friendly staff, clean room & wonderful beach area
I have very conflicting feelings on my stay at the Sirata, because I got to see two very different sides of the hotel. My husband and I requested a king room, and got a double queen. We requested the new rooms and to be near the wedding party we were in, and got the old section on the opposite side of the property. OUR room was disgusting. It was sandy from the time we walked in, over crowded with furniture so we couldn't have our beach stuff in there and get dressed at the same time, the bathroom shower was so low that I had to duck and I'm only 5'4". I was old, stained, and we had to constantly be emptying the dehumidifier or else the room got sticky. Not to be forgotten was the CARPET on the outside, open air breezeway outside the rooms. That flooded when it rained. To top it off, they would only let us have access to the bridal suite until noon. It was a 1030am wedding at the resort. I had to leave the reception and miss the cake cutting in order to get a new key made and get the room emptied. Unacceptable.
The flip side to all of this are the upgraded rooms where the bride stayed. The rooms were more spacious, newer, and cleaner. The property at parts was quite lovely. Rum runners had great food, very expensive but good, a fun relaxing fire pit area and easy access to the beach.
As far as hygiene and health safety: Social distancing was a joke. Mask enforcement was a joke. And hotel cleanliness was a joke. The NEVER told us that we wouldn't have maid service for the 4 days we were there so we had no clean towels, no clean beds, no emptied trash and no clean floors. The last w days my husband and I had to share a beach towel that we brought from home as our shower towel. The phone didn't work to call the front desk and ask for more so we had to walk down 4 times and they never came. It was disgusting. The staff was less than pleasant to deal with about this and it absolutely turned my off from an already gross room
Very cool place. Baja shrimp tacos are the bomb. Staff is very friendly here.
Great rooms other than the above the door sill dust. Great pool and bars
Amazing place & the employees are beyond wonderful! We will definitely be back!
Absolutely impressive, we will 100% be back. Friendly staff, gorgeous sunsets, awesome amenities, 2 beach bars that are a lot of fun, and even dog friendly. Rooms could use a bit of an upgrade, but overall very happy with our stay. Better quality of a stay than some resorts in the Caribbean!
Great place, however they are doing some construction that is suppose to be done by june 2018.
The one star is solely credited to the bar staff. We booked this resort over a VRBO because of the amenities that were included but after over paying for the tiny room that reminds me of a Motel 6, And has ants, we still had to pay $50 a day resort fee to use the amenities. Meanwhile, anyone walking down the beach can eat or drink and use them too. No one is checking for wrist bands. So those amenities are over crowded. The check in process would be zero stars. I can t even or I ll get mad again. Just don t. Save yourself the disappointment and stay elsewhere.
The first time in my life that I have ever refused to stay in a hotel. My entire family left in tears and I am hoping they will do the right thing and refund us the deposit. We were in complete shock to see employees around the resort wearing their masks around their neck. They were acting like the guests health and safety is a joke. Both pools were completely jam packed beyond capacity. We were so concerned about the things we saw before we even got let into our room that we checked out before we even checked in fully. I am not only extremely disappointed in the way that this resort is handling this pandemic but the way we were treated when we told the front desk supervisor that we didn't feel safe and/or comfortable was absolutely appalling. I pray to God that we don't get sick from the hours we spent at this hotel trying to just get out. I will never again consider this place and I would never feel comfortable telling anyone to stay here. I am just scared to think how the room would have looked if we would have ever made it there.
Motel 6 quality without motel 6 pricing. The stairwells were scary, the front door didnt close all the way, you couldn't lock the screen door and there was peeling paint in the bathroom. Check in was late due to " deep cleaning" but the floors left our feet black and there were ants on the nightstand. Yuck. The only good thing was the beach.
I only spent one night but my stay was so much more than I was expecting. Such a fantastic staff that went out of their way to make sure you stay was relaxing. The rooms are CLEAN and comfortable. They have a great Conference Center so your able to connect with your work associates.
Going back to just unwind over a weekend soon. Oh and the beach was beautiful.
They charge you for resort fees but dont bring you what you need. You have to hunt them down for toilet paper tissues and towels. They dont sweep your room or change your sheets due to covid 19. Found a dead water bug next to our bed and our t.v. had a line all the way through top to bottom. Not a good experience at all would not stay again
The location is fantastic! It's right on the beach. The rooms were ok, they seemed a bit cramped with two big chairs that we had to push to the side. Youll not spend too much time in there anyways with the pools, restaurants and the beach all nearby. Overall, we'd go back!
Staff were amazing all around from check in to restaurants, etc. Rooms were clean and suites were good size, bed was very comfortable. The only negative is there were never any beach towls avaliable. Loved it will be back, but I will bring my own beach towels.
Great view, attentive staff, fast room service delivery. Three small problems: the floor never got properly cleaned, my feet got black IN my room. The TV in the bedroom never worked. During a December cold snap, the heat worked only intermittently and the extra blanket provided is very thin.
Had several issues 1st messing up my reservations. Room I transfered to had no working a/c & neither room had a working tv had to keep calking for Maintenance. Rude scared front desk worker who would not move out of her chair to help me was really ridiculous! Beach was wonderful & nice suites however. Minor repairs needed & cleanliness fair. Boat tours were fabulous which saved a really rough start to my 9day vacation. Good location but too crowded & visutors not following csc guidelines. Over priced!
I will be getting married at Sirata this November and wanted to write a review as I ve been very impressed with how the hotel, and in particular our wedding coordinator Kelli, have handled the whole situation. Planning a wedding in 2020 has been nothing short of stressful. With everything so up in the air it s been really hard to get excited when plans have to keep being postponed and rescheduled. With that being said, Kelli has gone above and beyond to set my mind at ease. She is always quick to respond and has been very patient will all my calls and emails. The Sirata as a whole has been very fair and accommodating. I don t think I could ask for a better venue or team to work with throughout this process. If your looking for a wedding venue, I couldn t recommend The Sirata more!
We had fun but I had to kill two roaches on the bathroom counter. The room smelled old and moldy. We didn't get an ice bucket and when we asked for one, whoever brought it acted very put out by it. It was $315 for two nights and that was a special. Not worth it in my opinion. The free rum runners had almost no alcohol. In half an hour, I had 4. They were straight punch. They did have live music and we slept well, so not all bad.
Clean very friendly staff and a good price for the room
Great value. Beautiful beach. Beautiful view. Awesome casual seafood spots near the hotel
Good people, live music, positive vibes & sunsets. What more can you ask for ...
A nightmare Xmas-New year vacation. Please do not repeat my mistake of believing that the fantastic photos on their website or proclaimed renovation is true. We checked in on Dec 26 and assigned a room on the building three, second floor. It really looks like a rundown one-star motel. The walkway was littered, the paint on the walls were peeling-off and everything we saw was out-dated.
Once we are in the room, we face the worst: it is extremely unsanitary. There were hairs on most pillows and linens. There was unknown mucus on the side of bed frame. There were dirt everywhere on and around TV. Our little girl was allergic to it immediately and can't have a sleep all night.
We struggled through the first night. Then we went to the front desk the next morning and asked for a room change. They refused. We asked for refund for early checkout. They refused too. They cited it's Priceline that we paid the fee and we should talk with them instead of the hotel. Once we contacted Priceline to talk with the hotel, the hotel still refused the refund. Both parties treated us an pingpong ball and are glad to take the money and avoid the responsibility. We were out around $750 for the three nights we did not stay in this hotel.
Lessons learned. Don't believe any fantastic photos you see on this hotel. Don't be fooled by the single review score 4.0. You thought it decent while it's not. Read the reviews carefully, especially the bad ones. Don't book through Priceline or other third party agency unless you know precisely what the hotel is. Don't go to this hotel, who claimed to be a resort, charge $50 per day and turned out to be like a rundown one star motel. The worst is the ethics. They do not care about the room cleanliness but they love to keep the money.
Fun place right on the beach. Great food and drinks.
this is the worst staying of my life since day 1, we were 4 people everyone came in different cars and they only give you 1 parking space per room, plus the air conditioner in the room broken down the didn t fix it until next day, I asked to give us a better room or at least one that the air conditioner is working or give us a discount for the issue and all was denied, my second day at the pool we couldn t put the chairs together because of the rules of the pool, the staff was very rude and they didn t care at all how bad our staying was doing here, the blankets on the bed had stains on them and we asked to have a housekeeper to change them but the manager said that won t be possible because the housekeeping service is every 4 days, long story short I don t think is a good option where to have a good time or relax considering that the price was elevated compared to the other hotels around the area
The beach, ocean, pools and restaurants were very nice. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very dated and uncomfortable. If I had known this I would have gone to a different location. For the amount of money we spent we should have had an updated room. Will not return
We were going to be charge an extra $157 in fees that we did not user, someone put Tyler M on a receipt and an employee wrote my name over it and charged my room. Then the same thing happened on the beach. I was unaware as I did not rent or use anything other than the alotted lounge chairs. I was told it would be removed. I got an alert that my card was charge A MONTH LATER for the charge that they removed right in front of my eyes. They kept my card and manually entered it. a $44 dollar lunch and a $100 beach rental then I never had or used. But they continue to try and charge me for it. HORRIBLE.
Reserved a suite for memorial day weekend. We arrived at the hotel around 11:30am to register. Check in is 4pm, yet we waited until 6:30pm to get into our room. When we got into our room, it wasn't very clean and they left no towels. We also had a very hard time getting pool towels as the towel machines are always empty. The resort fee says you get beach chairs with your stay but when we went to the beach in the morning they tried charging us $20 because the only chairs they had set up had umbrellas (which aren't included in the price). We had to argue with the worker to get us some chairs that were included in the price. I understand we are in a pandemic and the may not be fully staffed right now, but we paid for the most expensive room at the hotel so I feel we should have gotten some preferential treatment. They could have cleaned our $400 room sooner than the $100 rooms. Not a good experience for our first and likely only stay there. Which is a shame because we really like the location. Next time we'll spend a few extra bucks and stay at Tradewinds.
The hotel is on the beach in a great location.
Rooms are a little dated but the staff is exceptional.
Old rooms, trying to look new. Happy hour is horrible, I get the free drinks, but
seriously...line is shorter at
Disneyworld! Charge a $1, people saving spots, no place to sit, obnoxious, drunk patrons. Avoid!
Was very upset with the stay at Sirata beach in St Petersburg Florida.
We currently stayed in St Petersburg Florida during the duration of June 29th through July 3rd. When we arrived at the hotel. Check-in took about an hour and a half. We then go up to our roomwere there was no towels or no washcloths shampoo conditioner and body wash were either broken empty or missing. The humidifier in our room was missing buttons for control. There was no room service ( house keeping ).
The gym laundry room and game room were closed. But I was still charged amenity fees.
Upon checking out what took only forever..
I was just now July 30th currently charge an additional $100. twenty-eight days after my stay.
The reason was because they did not close out my folio. Which is false my folio should have been closed when my check out occurred.
If I ever return to St Petersburg Florida I will never check into the Sirata Resort again.
Coming back to the same spot we got married for our 7th wedding anniversary. We love the Sirata! From starting our marriage to having a place to relax, we've made a lot of memories here. Rum Runners is great for drinks or a quick bite to eat. The resort has a bunch of amenities and activities to keep you busy throughout your stay. The newly remodeled rooms are awesome and much different from what we remember. The staff made our wedding memorable and our stay right now is going very well! Highly recommend spending your time in St. Pete beach at the Sirata!
Very nice and clean room. A very nice staff and right on the beach for a good price. Absolutely would stay here again.
My stay was amazing room was a bit on the smaller side but if your an out doorsy person as I am it was fine. Food is amazing our server at compass grill was Eddie whom was very pleasant. The lady who checked me in was Sandar she was AMAZING great customer service and very helpful. The views are extravagant so beautiful. The resort is very clean as well.
Excellent service, location, amenities...can't say enough about this place...can"t wait till we can visit again!
Great bars, excellent drinks. My bartender Holly was fantastic, very attentive and really just a phenomenal bartender. Also, I love the sunset drink special.
Friendly staff, great event coordination, outstanding location. Fixtures and appliances in the rooms are a bit dated hence the minus 1 star but that really didn't detract much at all from our experience. Would go back again.
not bad just an average hotel pretty good service it was clean but not spotless but that's to be expected on the Beach
Pool was under maintenance for several days, employees not taking covid guidelines seriously, room not properly cleaned, etc.
Had the pleasure of staying here last week. The staff was absolutely amazing. The view was breath taking. The resort had two open bars and two restaurants, gift shop and many more things to offer. The only downside to our stay was the cleanliness of our room wasn't to my standards when we first got there. We informed the desk and they corrected it right away. We will be returning in the near future!
Wife and I stayed there for our 15 year wedding anniversary. Beautiful location. The views from our 7th floor balcony of building 1 were incredible and we were on the side facing the bay. Staff were extremely friendly and made you feel really comfortable to be there. Beds are super comfortable as well.
Very good place to stay. Very nice people that work there very clean and comfortable. Great views and right on the beach. Dont hesitate stay here
We were there in late October and our experience was very positive. Staff and service was exceptional and we enjoyed the bikes, newspapers in the morning, fitness room and the pool near Harry's. Our room was neat and clean and met all of our needs. Publix and dollar store within easy walking distance to get anything needed. Would recommend it for a nice getaway.
Second visit in January& just as good as the first! Booked paired with flight from Allegiant & it was an incredible value as an "extended mid-week weekend" (there from Sun-Thur so miss any weekend crowds). Location great-walkable to almost everything & although close to Trolley, staff introduced us to "Free Beach Rides" that takes almost anywhere!! Front desk (all staff) wonderful. Rooms clean/comfortable, used all amenities. Last time mainly at pool due to the heat, but this time enjoyed the beautiful beach w/ the great beach staff of Jaymie, Kyle and Isaiah. Plan on returning regularly!!
Very clean and nice hotel. Love going here. The staff is always super nice & they keep everything clean all the time. Very accommodating:)
Traveler Type: family
We were given the wrong room he room of which we selected was not what room they gave us at the property but since we had to wait 90 minutes to Preregister Then our room was not ready until 8pm,
The front desk worker lied to us about the room we booked, caused undue hardship and stress and i ended up being severely embarrassed .the room uncomfortable had that mildew smell, floors gross. The only thing good is the location
I will give it to Sirata Beach Resort. Their marketing is wonderful because those pictures online make this place look like a dream when in reality it was a nightmare.
Very upsetting and did not add up. Would not recommend to anyone
the hotel very old, the bed uncomfortable at all not worth it.
customer service unfriendly, the aircondition was not working.
I got accupied room and the hotel did not give me a new room till 1 am
