On the last day, when they still had not been electronically delivered, they said that the tickets had been cancelled. I could either accept a worse location, or get a refund. My kids would have been heartbroken if we didn't accept their HORRIBLE solution.

They took our money and gave us tickets for the wrong night, I 100% checked like multiple times that it was the correct night! They refused to give us our money back even though they were in the wrong! I will never use them again all they do is take your money! Don't bother

SeatGeek sucks! They concede that their operating system has failures that result in problems for customers & potential customers ... their support staff is great at making excuses and the miss management team doesn't have the skills (ability or desire) to improve.

We aren't implying that you did anything wrong here - it's just that there was an error when our system automatically parsed your tickets, causing them to not be displayed properly.

This is something that we'll have to look into on our end, to see exactly what happened so that this doesn't occur in the future.

I have a big problem ... I posted my tickets for sale and I never got a sale notification so when I checked your site (via your app. on my iPhone) for remaining tickets for the event you showed "no tickets available"
but later your site reported that the status of my sale was
Active. I feel that you should honor what you report, and credit me for the tickets.

I have purchased and sold tickets trough you before ( via your app.) without a hitch, but this was a problem, and since there were dozens of people seeking tickets before the show - I could have easily sold them but I was confident in the process and it appears that you have let me down.

Sat on the phone for 30 minutes waiting to talk to customer service because I still need tickets but I didn't want to be charged another $400 and not be guaranteed my tickets. DO NOT USE SEATGEEK! They lied to me repeatedly and told me they had talked to the seller on the phone. I unfortunately fell for the lies and they ran off with my money. Now they simply won't call me back and told me repeatedly they would. This is a horrible company and I hope they go under soon.

It's official seatgeek is trash, I recommend you go to stubhub, they charge a bit more but the tickets are yours after you purchase them, not here, it says confirmation pending but as it's pending your tickets are still listed which gives someone the opportunity to steal them from you, meanwhile they still take your money out of your account, pure crap!!

I made a purchase via the link from a SeatGeek agent, for an event on September 3rd. When I received the confirmation email it was for an event on September 2nd. I immediately called SeatGeek and was told that since they were a third party vendor they couldn't re-issue the pass for the correct day (even though they provided the link), and would not return my money. So I was S.O.L.

I tried to contact a supervisor or someone from the corporate office, but it is impossible to reach anyone in management.

This is the last time I deal with this company!
StubHub is a much more customer service oriented company and will be my source for future purchases.
(Note: This site required at least 1 star before allowing me to post this review. SEATGEEK DESERVES NO STARS!

I purchased tickets in March for an event that was cancelled and still haven't got a refund. Check out the Better Business Bureau reviews and you will see I am telling the truth. Beware! I requested my refund on 5/26/20 for (3) each MLB tickets. Cost: $225.36 - Order number 6P2-NRMGRPL. I never received the tickets as the game was postponed in March and cancelled in May. I requested my refund on 5/26/2020 and was told I would receive my refund no later then June, 26th. Today, (6/25/20) after several calls to customer service. A "customer service supervisor" Alan; told me that refunds will be issued in 45 days? What? I asked Alan (the fake customer service supervisor) to escalate my call to the Seat Geeks Accounting Department and he refused. Folks, this company is being sued for not refunding the hard earned money their customers sent via credit card to purchase tickets. When the events are cancelled do to Covid-19; they avoid refund your money! Apparently, they do not have enough money to refund their customers. Do NOT under any circumstances purchase event tickets from Seat Geek, they are scam artists. Google Seat Geek, class action law suits have been filed. -Larry Kline

We have multiple sets of season tickets. When we can't attend an event we've started using SeatGeek exclusively for reselling. I use their rating system to guide my pricing and have sold our tickets every time, at a very good price for us and at times quite a bit higher than we thought we'd be able to get. (Note: this has happened with sold out games against top rivals.) We usually price at the highest end of green tickets because we have great seats. It's super easy to upload the tickets. They let me know immediately when the tickets have sold and when payment has been sent to my bank account. They also communicate as needed about any changes to the event. We've had some games rescheduled due to extreme heat and SeatGeek handled all communication with the new ticket purchaser. They're super professional, reliable, fun and easy to use. I'm not shopping our tickets around at all any more. As a result of our positive experience selling, we now check SeatGeek first when purchasing tickets ourselves. They're great.

Do not use seat geek. I purchased 4 tickets to a Yankee game and have been going through hell the last 4 days. Long story short, seat geek said they were transferred to me and confirmed. None of which is true. Even the yankees have no confirmation of the tickets being sold to me. Ticketmaster has no record of it. I even proved with this to seat geek with emails, screen shots, any and everything you can think of. They have provided zero resolution. All they care about is the seller (who, in my opinion is scamming them/me) Luckily I have a Sapphire account with Chase and can dispute the charge and they will open an investigation but I have to wait the 15 day waiting period. Stay away from Seat Geek at all costs. Go to stubhub or ticketmaster directly. I hope this helps some people make their decision. I have been blatantly lied to and deceived by this company and have the emails to prove it.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I only gave them one star, because I couldn't give no stars. I bought etickets on Ticketmaster and tried to list them on SeatGeek. I didn't think this would be an issue, because SeetGeak ONLY sells etickets. It turns out, you MUST have a PDF of your ticket in order to list on their site. I called for help and they recommended that I list on another site. What a JOKE.

If I could give Seat Geek zero stars I would. We were on our way to the stadium when I received an email that our tickets were double sold. This went on four different times. Finally, we had paid for parking, at the stadium and ready to go in when we were informed we were NOT getting tickets. Very disappointing. This is what the company does to make money, you would think they would be better at it. My advice would be to take your money to a different ticket broker.

Bought tickets off seatgeek / uberseat and they never came via email to me. I missed the game and was totally humiliated in front of my client. I called and emailed both companies and never got thru to anyone. uberseat closes at 6pm an hour before most games start on weekdays and I was on hold with seatgeek but they never picked up even though they are open until 10pm. I emailed several times also but they didn't reply. Don't trust them! looking at reviews on the net I see that they have a ton of complaints about not delivering.

There are so many other options to purchase ticket...

There are so many other options to purchase tickets for events. There is no phone number to call, try finding one in the email response is awful. My event was canceled in April and still no refund or a response back. Unfortunately they are using Covid as an excuse for being so busy as it states on their website.

Not worth your hassle believe me. I Purchase lots of tickets and will never use SeatGeek again.

Bought tickets through the SeatGeek app that were posted by FanXchange at 11:27 AM the day of the event. I was excited because I got a great deal at close to face value, well below market value, received a confirmation email, and my credit card was charged. At 1:51 PM, I received an email stating the tickets were already purchased and my order was being cancelled. I suspect FanXchange thought they could get more money elsewhere and thus cancelled my order. A phone call to SeatGeek yielded no resolution or offer of similar tickets at the same price. SeatGeek simply blamed it on a FanXchange timing issue. Going forward I'll happily pay slightly higher fees to other websites who actually stand by their listings. Very disappointing!

The event (NYCFC v. Houston 9/9/2017) was moved to another location, therefore the tickets are invalid and the original buyers are getting instant refunds. I called SeatGee and the costumer services representative (who was very hard to understand) told me that they can't do anything about it. Amazingly the representative suggested that I should resale the tickets!!! I couldn't believe that, what kind of services is that? resale the tickets for an canceled event. I won't use this app anymore and I recommend everyone to stay away.

No one has a good experience with these guys. I know of no one who actually got the tickets/seats they purchased. There is no customer service other than an email. Don't use them. If you're still on the fence about using this company consider this; the first picture that shows up when you search them is a picture of Lucky Charms in their corporate headquarters. Nothing says reliable company like adults eating a child's cereal.

I ordered tickets from Seat Geek to Hamilton in Chicago a couple of months ago. They were delivered through Ticket Master. My plans changed, so I need to sell the tickets. Ticket Master would not sell them as I had not purchased them from them, even though they have possession of them in my account. Seat Geek won't sell them, even though I offered to transfer the tickets back to them. Seat Geek said my best option was to find another online market place to sell the tickets. That stinks. And is confusing. I will never do business with Seat Geek again. I only gave them a two star instead of a one star in the hopes that this review sticks out more and saves someone from this hassle. I should have known better when Seat Geek did not have the actual tickets and said someone else would deliver them to me.

I really wish I read these reviews before attempting to purchase tickets from Seat Geek which should be called "Seat Scam". Over a week ago I bought (or thought I bought) 2 tickets to Beautiful on Broadway. The seats were supposedly in "zone A" according to the seating chart on the website - center, front half of orchestra. Last night I received a phone call saying there was a problem with my ticket order. I was told there was a "glitch" on the website and that there were not 2 seats together in Zone A. They offered me 2 seats together in the back rows of the mezzanine. I told them they could keep their tickets and give me a full refund. I'm especially disappointed because I bought them to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary.......

This was for my mother's Christmas present and now she is without one. They have tickets available on their website but are unwilling to give us any. One big scam for sure. Do not trust them. They offered to reimburse me 120% which means I get an extra $12 but could not get another ticket because they where quadruple the price the day before. They said I can resell my tickets, but they may not be transferred to me until 24 hrs before the show, so that's essentially not an option either. No phone number to call to speak with a live person, and generic email responses. Worst / shadiest ticketing business I have ever dealt with.

PostyFest VIP seating nightmare & DON'T BUY tickets from SEATGEEK or Seat Geek! You can't even call them!

While the AT&T stadium is beautiful & seems to be an architectural wonder, the operations management of the concert we attended the worst we've experienced.

3 of us attended Posty Fest on Saturday 11/2/2019 for my daughter's birthday present.

The communication and management between ticketing (seat geek or SeatGeek), venue, security, fire-marshall & consumer was the worst we've experienced. There was no "team" communication among everyone running the concert.

OUR STORY:
We purchased VIP gold PIT tickets for posty fest from SeatGeek. When Post Malone came on, 4 security guards body-blocked the area we paid dearly for, & rudely declared the area was "at maximum capacity" & wouldn't let us and about 20-40 other people back in to the VIP gold PIT area (we had been going back and forth during the whole event to get our merch, take a break, go to the bathroom etc). No explanation of why or what was going on. No one helped us with what to do next. Couldn't even see the performers.

On 11/7 I spoke to the stadium's customer service hotline for clarity. He said they blocked the VIP gold PIT area because the fire-marshall ordered it due to the pyro-technics of the concert.

This was completely avoidable! The mistake was on the venue/ticketing/tour managment not coordinating with the fire-marshall ahead of time! If they had planned and communicated properly then the "team" running the concert wouldn't have over-sell the VIP area.

We did not get the seats for Post Malone that we paid dearly for. Spent a lot of time $ for a terrible VIP birthday experience.

Seat Geek & stadium will not give us money back. Seat Geek guarantees their tickets they say - but the only thing they offered us is $200 toward another purchase from them. Seat Geek claims it was a venue problem not theirs. The whole thing was a coordinated problem & they should all be working to make the 'operations managment" of these events better.

Completely disappointed in Seat Geek - they are the ones who have my money & we didn't get to stand in the area we paid them for.

PSA: Do not use Seat Geek to purchase tickets. I bought tickets NINE months ago through their (supposedly trustworthy) website (great rating from the Better Business Bureau). They called me today, for my concert in three days, and told me the "broker doesn't have the tickets" so they will issue me a refund.

They have a buyer guarantee that states (among other things)... "your tickets will be delivered in time for the event" and "if any of these things do not occur, you will be provided with comparable or better tickets to the event, or offered a refund. Yet, they're refusing to find me new tickets, despite the fact that there are plenty available on their website. They're just more expensive than what I paid - understandably so, given that the concert is in three days.

Essentially, I don't want a refund. I want the tickets.

This is unacceptable customer service, and I'll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

They said I should have received an email with the tickets but I didn t and then they told me that they should show up in my Ticketmaster account but they didn t. I had tickets to an event at MSG and my tickets weren't scanning. It seemed like the seller had schemed the system and sold me tickets that were already used. Chris at SeatGeek was super helpful in getting me into the game with much better seats, all within 15 minutes and even waited on the line to make sure the replacement tickets scanned.

I wanted to order tickets for my nieces birthday as a surprise.. I ordered the tickets but received an email stating that there was a problem that occurred with the card. I called customer service to resolve the issue and they told me to fax over the drivers license of the card holder. I then proceeded to go to staples right away to further resolve the issue. I paid for the image to be faxed over then called the company back which they then told me it was unclear which was after I had left .. so I drove back to staples to make the photo legible and I even enlarged it so that they can read it .. I paid once again at staples and called your customer service and still they said it's not legible .. I don't understand what the issue is . I made the photos as clear as possible and I tried everything I could to fix the situation. I refused to drive back to staples and pay once again to send over a fax. I will just wait for my refund to come through and I will not recommend this site to any of my friends and family. wish something could have been done . I don't understand why this whole fax situation had to even happen. customer service didn't even seem to care about my situation :(

BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM. We bought two tickets for the broadway show Wicked today at 9/30/2018. They charged us an extra $10 for ticket delivery. When we arrived at Gershwin Theatre the box office informed us that they didnt have tickets under our name. We called Seat Geek who said they emailed us at 5:20pm for a 7pm show to say the tickets are at another location. We paid for an Uber to go to the pick up location and reached there at 6:50 pm to find their office was closed. When we called them again and told them the office is closed they argued and wasted our time. Im going to report this to American Express to get our money back as Seat Geek refused to reimburse us.

Every other ticketing market that I've ever used h...

Every other ticketing market that I've ever used has been incredibly painful to use and once you've waded through the onerous process of purchasing tickets, they spring unexpected fees on you. Because of how painful the process typically is, i would usually still make the purchase because I felt invested in the process. I have never felt this way with Seatgeek which is the antithesis of Stubhub or Ticketmaster.

I have used Seatgeek many times to attend games and events around New York City. They have great selection for the events we're most interested in and there's no need to print or email tickets to share with others, it's as simple as sharing on the app which immediately transfers to others.

Buyer beware! I suppose if you're a seller you'll be protected, if you're a consumer look out. I tried to cancel my order immediately
after seeing that the downloaded tickets were a row apart and two seats apart. I missed "piggyback" in the disclaimer, but "piggyback" to me means in front and in back, not a row and two seats apart. The right thing to do was cancel my order and move on. I was told my concern could be escalated and someone would call me back within a few days - tickets are for tomorrow so that doesn't help. In addition, this was all though Fanxchange as you can't get anyone from Seatgeek on the phone even though they're happy to take your money. If you're willing to take my money there should be an easy way to reach you by phone. No wonder there's a 2.6 rating. Find somewhere else to get your tickets!

What a sham!! We bought 6 tickets to the Utah foot...

What a sham!! We bought 6 tickets to the Utah football bowl game in San Diego. They were the courier for the tickets and when they were delivered somebody but us signed for the tickets then they were stolen. When we tried to get the tickets reissued we were told we were out of luck. No matter what we did they were not willing to help us. After spending hundreds on tickets we now have to cancel all of our plans.

The majority of my top favorite NYC memories were helped along by tickets from SeatGeek. Seeing The Dixie Chicks live last year was an unbelievable experience and one I certainly couldn't have afforded without SeatGeek.

Still waiting on a refund after sending tickets back as instructed. I am still waiting on another set of tickets to be sent back. They do not want to talk to you. They offer BS customer support by email. Say that you can chat, big option never comes up. Very bad customer service. I will use stubhub from now on. This group is ridiculous.

Horrible experience!!!! I bought Pgh Pirate tickets for opening day back in November, 2019. It's now almost August, 2020 & I STILL haven't received a refund after MULTIPLE communications with SeatGeek!
I recently learned there's a class action lawsuit filed against them for the same reason. Avoid this company!
