I just ordered and took delivery of a 2016 Tahoe LTZ. Ali Vann was the sales consultant that I worked with. He was very professional and did a good job of keeping me informed about the status of the order. I would highly recommend. I have purchased a number of cars from Lupient over the years. Have always been pleased with both the sales process and the after sales service.
I unfortunately have to change my review from a 5 star to a 1 star. When I purchased my vehicle there was a paint crack on the back bumper and my sales man said that he would call me the following week to set up a time to get it taken care of...That was in June and I never heard from him or anyone else. I learned that he disappeared from the dealership the following week. I had a guy call and said that it would get taken care of. IT NEVER DID! That was in June and it is now November of 2016. I now had a chunk of paint fly off while I was washing the car. I have called multiple times about the paint crack and no one has gotten back to me. I feel that this dealership just wanted my money and doesn't care about the customer. I was ready to send my husband to get a vehicle, but I definitely don't know I will do that anymore. I am definitely disappointed to say the least! :(
This is the second time I've bought a car from Lupient Chevrolet because the sales people are excellent and the whole process is very quick and painless. Both sales agents helped me stick to my budget and didn't try to sell me something that I couldn't afford - I love that! Great selection of used vehicles, fair trade-in values, and friendly people - what more can you ask for in a car shopping experience?
Poor customer service in trying to resolve a SERVICE issue. Negligent technicians creating problems for consumers, incomplete service records and comments. The director of service doesn't even actually have mechanic or "hands on service" experience, yet he is the one making final big business decisions. He is still arrogant and confident about something he has no experience with.
In this situation it is overpriced work and poor customer service. A company of this magnitude should be able to stand by their products and service, be trustworthy and a consumer advocate. If you read these google reviews, you will find that all the negative reviews are related to the service department and not sales. All the good reviews are related to sales department. I caution you with getting any repairs here.
The Service Department has no care for customer satisfaction. We were there around 12:00 for an oil change and we were told that it would take about 45 minutes to an hour. at 2:00 (2 hours later) we checked back in with the service rep to see when it would be ready. They told us 45 minutes. 3 hours after we dropped off we got the vehicle back. It better have been some pretty good oil! We watched multiple people drop off and pick up during the time we were there so I'm fairly certain that they just forgot about our vehicle. No apology was given about the wait and they actually gave us the wrong keys at the end. had to go back to the service rep and ask for the correct keys. They couldn't even tell us where the vehicle was parked at the end so we wandered the lot for a good 5 minutes looking for the vehicle.
Plain and Simple: The worst customer service of any Vehicle Distributor I have ever experienced. I would never recommend anyone to ever go to Lupient Chevrolet for any reason. All experiences I have had with this dealership have been terrible.
Hopefully whoever reads these surveys conveys this information. I have tried calling into the service department multiple times and have never had anyone pick up the phone. Left Voicemails and have never received a response.
This dealership is very convenient for me to go to and I would love to give them business. However, they way they handle customer service is so poor that I will need to find another dealership unless they can figure it out.
I was actually looking at a very specific Chevy at a different dealership and knew a discount was ending that same day. The other dealership wasn't getting back to me, so I called Lupient after finding they had the same truck on the lot. Mark Lidke answered and we had a deal done within a half hour. So happy he was willing to work with me and was so responsive. He has continued to stay in touch to answer questions afterwards. Thanks for everything Mark!

William, the gentleman who helped us was a good fellow. Kind of odd that he wanted to come for the test drive, which was fine. However, the constant suggestion on the assumption of what me and my dad was going to do was ridiculous. We know Minnesota Law. However, the sales manager came off on us as if we're stupid. Said, we were being "unreasonable" because we said the interest was too high so we kindly declined. We left feeling a little discriminated against. It was a offer and we declined. No need to insult our intelligence. Disappointed.
I came in looking at one car and wasn't 100% sold on it, even after taking it out for a test drive. Patrick bent over backwards to find me a good car that was a better fit for me, and he and his finance team jumped through hoops to get me approved for a payment that fit my budget. This was my first time purchasing a car and Chuck made it a great fun experience. He made sure I understood all the information and I never felt pushed to purchasing a car.
Luis helped us get exactly the car we wanted, even switching to a different color and redoing all the paperwork at the last minute. We showed up at 9:00, and Luis had us in our Traverse by that afternoon at a price I was very happy with and an excellent financing offer. Never once was I pressured from him. In fact, I think he was expecting I would be coming back later for the sale, but I had done all the research and found Lupient had the best sale prices and the lifetime powertrain warranty I wanted. I was in contact with dealers across the state, but I think I found the best total package (price, trade in, financing, powertrain warranty, and the 5 years of oil changes I added) right in my hometown. Luis even let my kids watch videos on his computer while we did all the paperwork. I look forward to a long and positive relationship with Lupient as I plan to have all services done there to satisfy the powertrain warranty requirements.
I've purchased 2 vehicles from Lupient, and have nothing but good things to say about their sales AND service teams. Ryan Finke helped with the last purchase - a 2016 Tahoe. He was super helpful and knowledgeable, and was genuinely committed to getting me the right vehicle at a good price. He stayed late on a Friday evening to make sure everything was set up and ready to go. Love the vehicle, and when I'm ready for the next one, I'll be heading back to Lupient Chevrolet!

I recently purchased a used Kia Soul from this dealership. I was most impressed with the professional way I was treated as a customer. Dana went out of his way to help me and I recommend the dealership highly.
I sincerely do not recommend this service center in any capacity. They have repeatedly told me my car is fixed and it has not been. I ve reached the point where I have called GM customer service center to find a final resolution. Lupient replaced my ECM and oxygen sensors. I was skeptical, but they said that it would resolve the issues.
After install, it turns out they didn t pair my keys correctly to the new ECM. And those oxygen sensors they replaced? One of them wasn t installed correctly, so I had to leave it at the shop and I was told it would be fixed first thing in the morning, and I didn t get it until that afternoon. It took me going into the shop after an hour on hold with their service center to actually get an answer on when my car was completed.
And now I am once again getting the same misfire codes that I had when I first brought it in, despite a new ECM and nearly $2k in repairs already.
I worked with Chuck and he made purchasing my new Blazer very easy. He was aware of what I wanted and didn't try to sell me anything extra or persuade me. He was a true partner in helping me purchase what I wanted. He was very up front about options and additional services. He walked me through the features on my vehicle and told me what was necessary to keep my warranty in place! I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a Chevrolet to check out what Chuck can help with!

When they offer you the car they are very cordial they take care of you very well, we bought a used truck in December for the month of January it started to fail, it had the wrong battery, we took it and they did not find the fault, then my husband was able to fix it, by March it was over It heated up and the lights turned on the dashboard, we took it and only erased codes, for June they changed the engine (last year) and 8 days ago the engine broke the service very bad the mechanics do not do their job well, apart from which they charge a lot To "fix" it and it never looks good, this truck went super bad, be careful when you want to buy here they make you pay extra warranty and it doesn't work.

I really enjoyed working with Rafael when getting a new car. He communicated with me for a week before I even came in, was very patient with all my questions and wants for the car, and had many options for me to consider when I came in. When you find an honest and respectful car salesman it's amazing. Jerry at Lupient Chevrolet in Bloomington is just that. If you get a chance and need a new car might I highly recommend someone who will give you real solid advice financially and personally and get you into exactly what you need and not be a tool about it. He's like my car dealer dad. I respect and trust this guy. Not only that but he was super fun and super real about the entire process from start to finish (we had our car ordered because we wanted a Manual). He made it SO simple! Plus the financing gal? Sonja? Holy crap was she a hoot and a half! Honestly the most relaxed, fun, inviting, and laid back experience I've had purchasing a car. Way less stressful than another purchase I had at a different dealership and completely opposite experience. I have been a customer of Lupient Collision Center in Bloomington for many years. The reason I continue to come to this location is because of Jim Danielson. I originally met him at the GMC dealership on 394 in St. Louis Park. He helped me out with problems and supported me when I needed advice and presented the company in a very positive and customer friendly way. I have also brought my wife's and daughter's cars to Bloomington and the service has been excellent. It is comforting to have someone you trust and who is reliable taking care of our cars and who represents the company at such a high level
I made an appointment online for an oil change for December 23rd and received a confirmation email. After waiting an hour and a half I asked about the progress and they said they would be getting to it soon. I asked about the appointment and they said they didn t take appointments for oil changes????? I paid more and waited longer and, of course, the car wash was broken. Neither the service manager nor the general manger seemed to care. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!! Their response to this review is completely made up. That conversation never took place. They just kept saying they don't take appointments. I saved the email conformation of the appointment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!
Chuck was great to work with. He was intentional to find out what my most important needs were and showed me my options so I could make the best decision. The whole process went really smoothly.
I greatly dislike this dealership. I went there to look at a specific car; that morning someone had ran into it. No problem, give me a call and let me know. They didn't let me know that I would be able to test drive the car until I got there at my appointment time. They said "oh we have another car, same brand and kind, but a different year and a more expensive model." I test drove it and then talked to my husband for a brief moment. After going back to talk to them more about cars they had, we tried to leave because we didn't want the car we had test drove. They pushed and pushed and pushed to try to get us to buy the car. One we didn't come there to look at, and one we didn't really want or like.
These are some of the things they said to get us to buy it: "If you were someone I knew, a family member or church member, I wouldn't let you leave without this car." "Don't pass up a good deal." "If you don't buy this car today, we are selling it to another dealership tomorrow."
Scheduled an appointment for 10:00AM, yet I waited in a line until 11:15 after which a technician finally got to me, and told me it would be another hour. What a waste of my day. I will not come to this location again. Waiting room is small and stuffy with little food and beverage options. Next time, I will go out of my way to go to the Roseville Rosedale location. I've received only great service there.
Terrible, was not informed that there was only 1 key fob until after I baught and paid for a used car.Talked to sales manager who essentially said tough luck!
Everyone that I ve dealt with here seems crabby and condescending. I believe they over charged me for everything that needed to be done and charged me for a bunch that didn t need to. The commission based business model for auto repair places is out dated. I don t know if that s how this place works but it definitely seems that way. Bringing my traverse elsewhere from now on,
Very happy with our Chevy Cruze from Lupient Chevrolet. Luis was very helpful! We purchased a new 2019 Cruze that was used as a demo vehicle, so while is did have a bit over 2K miles, we got a new car at better price than some of the pre-owned ones we looked at.

Please read while review... Great service in the parts department. I needed to also work with the service department. The gentlemen were very helpful and informative. even though I am a woman... lol :). Review was 5 stars till I discovered the inside of my seat springs mysteriously broke while it was there for service. I was guaranteed though that they could not have done it or they would have told me. The general manager helped me realize that it was definitely NOT THEIR FAULT.
Will was the gentleman that assisted me. He was great, he was very patient and willing to work with me on trying to find a car. I have never gotten better service from any dealer. These guys are great at what they do, and always willing to go the extra mile.

Customer service sucks! If you buy a used car make sure you bring a scanner. Bought one had it break down 15 miles after leaving the dealership. Now I m back in the shop with the same problem after they said it s been fixed. Definitely would not recommend this dealership as they re con artists. If you want to get screwed over this is the place.

Todd was the service advisor and went to bat on a warrantee by the extended warrantee company who denied coverage in regards to a new transmission. Ended up using Geico extended mechanical warrantee which i also had coverage under..guess was worth the extra money for Geico extended coverage and the other company i will drop and try and get a refund. Once resolved after around 10 -12 days the new transmission was installed and I was on the road by the day I was headed down to KC. Also zero pressure by Service dept to pay cash or resolve another ways o they were very patient until resolution. truck back to running smooth with new transmission ( at 60k miles) So overall I feel Lupient and the service advisor treated me the customer above and beyond expectations. As for a transmission going out on a 2017 Silverado 1500 it is a mystery but the new transmission has a 100k warrantee so the vehicle should last:))
I have been a Lupient Chevrolet customer for years (purchasing Chevrolets, service work and body shop), but they went above and beyond when I had my wife's Volkswagen Passat towed to their service department recently. Their GM, Paul Nauman, said they could fix anything, and he wasn't kidding. All of the staff my wife and I encountered from dropping the car off at closing on a Friday night, to the service advisors we met with Saturday morning, and the folks that my wife dealt with when she picked her car up, we fantastic. The service advisor, Marlin, is a rock star! Kudos to their GM, Paul, and of course, to the mechanic(s) that worked on the Passat!
We drove through the lot at Lupient late one night with absolutely NO intentions of buying that evening, only looking, until salesman, Taylor Dunbar, greeted us. He asked what we were looking for and invited us into the dealership. Before we knew it, we were sitting at Taylor's desk after test-driving a vehicle and were signing documents to buy (def good at his job). Taylor was so professional and great, he made buying the vehicle a very fun experience. He and his manager, David, even ordered us the exact model, engine type, and color we wanted. I have nothing but wonderful things to say and I never knew that buying a vehicle could be so fun and great. Everyone we worked with at Lupient was wonderful and I especially recommend Taylor, as he is the gold star to our experience. He called us a few days after to check in, which we really appreciated. Thanks again to everyone at Lupient for such a great experience, we will definitely be back!
I wandered into Lupient one Saturday to take a look at new vehicles since my lease was going to end in a few weeks. I met Dana Poppen and he helped me decide on which auto would be my next Chevrolet. He was enthusiastic and kind and made the process as easy as it can be, bringing in the appropriate people to get the deal done that very day even though he had to stay past closing time. I really appreciated his way of doing business and his follow up since then. It was a winning deal for me!
Easy to schedule my appt online. Great service by the gentleman who checked me in. He let me know how long I would be waiting and then came to check on me towards the end. I found a comfy seat to do work on my laptop and had a very productive couple of hours at Lupient.

Horrible service from the time I made the appointment till finish. I called and made an appt and I specifically asked the lady I was making appt with how long she told me no longer then an hour. my appt was at 8am for oil change and rotation. I got there at 750 and was not told they were short handed or anything and i didnt leave till close till 930. What happen to customer service Then I get car back and its acting up guess I need to go to a different dealership which stupid since Im 5mins away. This isnt first problem with customer service
