Waren busy with other customer(s) and didn't have time for us. Receptionist recruited Dennis but when he found out we started with Warren Dennis hoped we would understand and abandoned us - must be a commission thing otherwise why not help fellow salesperson? Anyway stumbled on Trax we did like but took over 50 minutes for them to get paperwork Ready for us to drive it away. Raised a stink and desk guys were in shock that I was willing to complain to the GM Bill Mauer. Bill apologized and said his guy wont be in till noon, its 11:45. Really guys? We started this project at 9:30 and only test drove three cars and I had to hunt someone down each time for keys and they would only pry Warren away from another customer? Drop the keys and run Warren - we'll sell ourselves our own vehicle. We like the Trax so far though :)
Buying my truck from here was a great experience. I emailed them regarding the truck I wanted and got in touch with Stu, one of the internet sales managers. Stu and I discussed things back and forth over email for around a week before I came in and made my purchase. The whole process from walking in the door to completing financing (very competitive interest rates), appraising my trade in, and every other part of the buying process until I drove away in my new truck took less than 2 hours. Stu have me the best price of any dealer in the area on a truck that had everything I wanted. I would gladly buy from Stu and Mauer Chevy again.

Stopped in to check out a couple of newer used trucks that they had listed. One was a 2011 and the other was a 2013. Both had dirty interiors and one had 2 car seats in the back. The salesman said that another worker was using it as is daily driver. That was an absolute turn off. I took my money next door and purchased a truck with a clean interior. This is more of a heads up to management.
They told me I would be able to drop off my car and pick up in the same day however when arriving they informed me I would not be able to do
It's awful every time I'm there. I schedule a oil change so I don't have to wait all day, yet I'm there over 2 hours!?!? This isn't the first time, IT'S EVERY TIME! The only time it was good is when I bought a 2014 Silverado. All maintenance, repairs, experience sucks!
Came in to help my nephew find a low cost lease to get him through college. Without asking for our budget, salesman took up to a car and said this would fit our budget...? I asked salesman for a listing of the lease specials and incentives going on and he told me he couldn't until after we decide on a vehicle. How can we decide then when the boy has a strict budget that you didn't ask me for? You could show him the most expensive car in the showroom and if he can't afford it, we would be wasting time. The salesman got really agitated and started acting like a jerk. The manager came up (knowing me from a purchase I made) and ran the numbers and found a car that they could meet the budget; it wasn't the car he was showing us... The salesman was then asked to bring the car up to show us. 15 minutes later no car and no salesman; we left. Note: When we have bought a car here before we were always shown the deals of the week. Maybe it was because we knew before hand and asked about but still. If the buyer asks for this list why not produce!?
Stew and everyone involved went above and beyond to get us the best car for the best deal with the best financing options. We did not feel like just a sale on the books but they actually wanted us to be satisfied with our purchase with no pressure or gimmicks.
We have purchased or leased our last six vehicles from Maurer. It has always been a great experience. Dennis my salesperson was friendly easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the truck I leased. He listened to what I wanted and found the right truck for me.The financing part was also smooth and was in and out in a couple of hours with a new truck.
The sales team was great, and that's where it ends. Called three different times to try and set up an appointment for a bed liner, well I ended up going with a rhino liner because they didn't know how to set the appointment up. Used the app to schedule my first oil change and requested my preferred day as Jan 1st, new years day, and a second day as Jan 3rd. Thinking if the weren't open because of the holiday they would inform me of that. Well they confirmed my appointment for Jan 1st 2015 and when I drove up there the service department was closed! Go to Larry Reid next door for all service needs.
Mark is the man. Main reason I pulled the trigger right away. Worked hard to get the best deal and made it work for me.

Service center is nice. Sales lie to you all they can to get the sale. I asked to see invoice on truck he swore to me they put it in the window now. No bs sales. You kidding me. Renigged on original deal that was struck and south it went from their. Don't know how they stay in business.
Last month I brought in a 2011 Equinox that needed a new engine for a quote. Eric in the service department gave us a quote of several thousand dollars. We decided not to repair and would by a replacement car. We worked with Samuel to purchase a 2018 Sonic with 8,000 miles. We agreed on $500 for a trade in on the Equinox. The day after buying the Sonic the car would not run and it was towed back to Mauer. We were given a loaner to use, but that was not offered we had to adamantly request it. The next day we were called by the service department and told that the car was fine - they drove it with no issues. We went to pick it up and it did the same thing as the day before, so we left it again. The next day, Friday, they called to say they were working with GM to resolve the problem and needed at least until Monday. On Friday my daughter and I went to Mauer. We spoke with Samual and requested to speak to a general manager. He had us sit down at a table and went to get the GM, Mike. Mike would not even sit down to talk with us. He stood there as we explained that there was too much risk with the car and we no longer wanted it. He said "we're not going to make you buy a car you don't want," with no apology or anything for what we had been going through. I asked about the car that we were trading in for $500; he said they would buy it from us for $500. After about 3 weeks someone from the business office call to say she found the Equinox title in a stack of paperwork and wanted to mail it to me. I told her Mike agreed to buy that car for $500. She said she would check on that and call me back. A few days later she called to say she would be sending me a check. The check arrived yesterday. There was a charge of $274 for a repair order with no detail. WE NEVER AUTHORIZED REPAIRS. Originally, we asked how much it would cost to replace the engine and were give a verbal estimate. The agreement was for Mauer to buy the car from us as-is for $500, but we received only $225.

Friendly service, but they scam you in service.
I was charged $58 at the dealership for a filter change, and after several people intimated that it was far too high of a cost I called over to another dealership, quoted $24 for the cost, part and installation included. So I called Mauer to get a cost, and sure enough, $25 part and installation included. I called them on charging me more than Double that, and they said someone would call me back that day or the next, and I never heard from anybody. There was a bit of a horse and pony act at the payment desk the day of service, telling me I got 'such a great deal' because they 'didn't even charge me for labor' which is bull, because the actual part is only $13. So. Get a quote beforehand so they don't scam you and never return a call. I will never be going here again unless someone contacts me to make this right.
We test drove cars at 5 different dealerships, the atmosphere at Mauer Chevrolet was by far the least pressure and the most friendly. Our salesman was very knowledgeable, but not afraid to say "I don't know, but let's find out" on the rare occasion he didn't know an answer right away. I appreciate when salespeople don't try to make something up if they don't know an answer. I will shop here again when we need another car.
Ten till five parts lady said he is last customer guy in front of me
This place has no problem ripping you off. Offered me $2500 for my truck I was trading in that retails for $9000 and trade value $5500-7500 on every site I looked. Went to another dealer the next day and they took my truck on trade for$6500. Stay away from Mauer.

Stopped by without an appointment to get my first oil change at 11am it was done promptly with a car wash service person was helpful and knowledgeable also enjoyable to talk about hotrods.
Came in for an oil change on our 2018 Equinox deisel, even though we purchased the vehicle in Hudson. I received friendly and professional service from the service team and had a nice time talking with salesmen Brian about the new Blazer.

I love your staff at Mauer Chevrolet. Warren is absolutely awesome! He has been my man for the last couple of leases I have done. I just love working with him. He s got a great personality and always makes me feel like family. Jeff is such a kind and patient person as well. He s always so careful in answering all my questions and explaining things thoroughly. All your staff are very kind, considerate and caring. When I waited for Warren or Jeff to get answers or find things, multiple staff would stop and check to see if I needed anything or just to chat. It s always an exceptional experience. I was so happy I shared my experience with my daughter and son-in-law. Warren and Adam helped them a truck lease as well!
Dennis was good. I wasn't the best customer, as I didn't really know what I wanted. Dennis asked the right question to help me figure out want I wanted.
The staff was great, the service department was excellent and the work done on my vehicle was done in a timely manner. Nothing but praise!

I know reviews don't always tell the whole story, because everyone's experience could be different.... BUT, i doubt someone will have a different experience with these guys, Clean means clean, and exceptional service means exceptional. Chris L helped me out with my new Chevy and made the entire process so smooth. His knowledge of the Car with respect to different years models was on point and his approach towards rates comparison was quite assuring. Tony from finance make sure i got the best deal. I hope i don't ever buy a car again but if i do....Mauer Chevy

Great service and sales team! However, don't expect a reasonable amount for your used car no matter how low the mileage or condition. I was offered the least amount at this dealership than any I've ever been to.
That being said, I will probably go back to a Toyota.
Hoped they d be different but they weren t. Typical service department that is doesn t care. Brought in car for diagnosis and service contact was in poor mood for unknown reason and seemed upset that I was looking for a diagnosis. I had two items for them to diagnose and they would call me back later that day. Never got a phone call, had to call close to closing and ask about my car, turns out it was done and the service contact had left for the day already so no explanation of what they found and didn t bother to call me that it was done. Here s the kicker, out of two things to diagnose, they forgot to do one. $180 wasted.
You guys! This place is THE BEST! So friendly and helpful. They treat you like family!! Will never buy a car from anywhere else ever again!
I had been wanting to order the new Camaro and was waiting for it to become available. Out of the blue, I stopped in at Mauer a few minutes before they were closing and was just going to peek in the window at the 2016 model on the showroom floor. The salesman waved for me to come inside as he was locking the door. I had told him I did not want to impose as I was just looking, however, he told me to come inside anyway. He took my information and told me he would check into the availability of the Camaro the next day. Sure enough, I received a call the next morning letting me know I was able to order the 2017 Camaro and we set up a time and day for me to do that (while two other dealers still have not called me to tell me I could order almost 3 months later). Steve was great updating me regularly and enduring my many questions and impatience to get the car of a lifetime. The day my car came in, he ran all over making it possible for me to pick up before I went out of town. And Dennis spent lots of time going over the car when I picked it up. I can't thank you guys enough as I absolutely love my new car and am very pleased with my experience with Mauer!
It's still fun to see their expressions when I drive-in with the kind of mileage that I've put on in just a tad over a year.
Mauer's service department replaced the wrong part, but we happily payed $240 at the time because they said that fixed the issue of coolant boiling out of the reserve tank. Coolant continued to boil out the reserve tank, so we re-scheduled an appointment and they replaced the water pump (which was covered under the warranty) for "free". I argued we should get refunded the $240 because the actual issue was covered under the power-train warranty, and it's not my fault they replaced the wrong part in the first place. After 15 minutes of trying to argue my point with the service desk, and no solutions being offered, the conversation ended. 6 days later, I still have a bad taste in my mouth about this unresolved experience.
Parts Department good service and good effort in locating what I needed to get running again
2 years ago my wife and I went into mauer to get an suv. The salesman was very nice to us. We found one we liked and started talking numbers. When we went to sit down with the finance guy he was trying to have us sign the papers and right away. I asked what is the monthly payment going to be and he told me what it was and it was over what I said I wanted to pay for that vehicle. He said well not to be rude or anything but if you are complaining about a few dollars higher. than you shouldnt be buying a vehicle. I really wish i would of stood up and said goodbye without getting the damn suv. But we ended up getting it. I regret it I will never go back there again. We have told our neighbors, friends and family to avoid them.
Consumers beware...They will tell you one thing and charge you another....You've been warned! They offer no apology and refuse to admit they misled you. Stay away and take your business to another dealer.

No accommodations for wanting to switch dealership servive departments. Never, ever will buy a vehicle or have service done again. Just lost a 15 year customer.
I had a horrible experience here. The salesman couldn't even pronounce the name of the cars. Then he wouldn't let me test drive a used car. How do you expect to sell a car when you won't let the customer drive it first?
Some room for improvement:
1. On the night I picked up my vehicle I had to return to the dealership to pick up the 21 day license. I had to call on my drive home because my sister noticed it was missing. When I returned that night you provided me one.
2. The financing paperwork had the loan amount incorrect despite me being clear about it. You corrected it (of course) but it added time to the process.
3. The Infotainment system didn't have the Android Auto update (a known problem for 2016 models). I went to Main Motors (I work in Anoka) and they told me it couldn't be upgraded. They were wrong. I contacted Warren and he coordinated with Mauer's service department to upgraded to current version. Now it works great.
Overall you did a great job and back up your pledge that customer is #1. That is very much appreciated. I would provide you a 10 except for these three shortcomings.

Bought my Equinox from Mauers. Mike H was very helpful with getting to know the vehicle. Explained and set up my Bluetooth. Have brought my vehicle back for regular service and have been treated fairly every time. I think they have the customer service thing down! Will purchase from them in the future.
I enjoyed my sales person . He was wonderful, attentive and he cared about my needs . I was grateful to have him as my sales person. I would definitely recommend my family and friends.
I traveled home to Minnesota with my husband & he accidentally took the truck keys home with him when he flew back to Texas. Mauer was able to make a key for my Silverado with the VIN number while I waited. I received fantastic service & they were my heroes that day!
I got oil changes and services done on my vehicle while it was under warranty and most things were covered. After warranty was up, they have very little in the sense of customer loyalty. When I wanted them to help diagnose a check engine light, for $160, I decided I was done with Mauer Chev's poor/expensive services and 2 hour oil changes with an appointment. My local mechanic charged $40 to figure out what was wrong.
We were able to get a car we love and not just a car we like.
Priced about 20 percent higher than Polar Chevrolet for same service. Vehicle wasn't completed on time and no shuttle service available late afternoon or during day when needed.
Salesman was so nice no presser to buy...the rest of the people there all had great positive or happy smiles very friendly. They were able to answer all my questions.
I like the service at Mauer. They are very friendly and the waiting room is comfortable.
Customer service is outstanding. Sam in the service department had my six year old battery tested and said it was still good. Because of it's age, I asked to schedule an appointment to have it replaced. They asked, "do you have time right now?" 20 minutes later I'm on my way home with a brand new battery and peace of mind. Thanks Sam, Cody and the whole Mauer team!
Excellent experience buying a used truck from Mauer. I spent a few weeks looking and when a new posting popped up with no pictures I reached out. Jenna checked into the trucks status and called me back in less than 15 min. I got a text from Warren who sent me all the pictures I asked for and spent the whole day responding to various questions as I shopped other locations comparing. Warren was extremely responsive and when I made it to the dealership the service was excellent. Truck was pristine and they detailed it again while I did paperwork. I came with a very low pre-approved loan from my bank and they even beat that. Thanks Warren, Jeff, and the sales manager for making this purchase a great experience!
Adam Voigt was the salesperson who assisted me, and he couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. His knowledge of the car I was interested in was superb, and I really appreciate the time he took to walk me through all of my new car's features, and answer all of the questions I had. Another Adam (my apologies for not remembering his last name) assisted me with the financial part of the transaction, and he was terrific as well. Very friendly and helpful walking me through that part of the process. Buying a new car can be a very intimidating experience, but thanks to Adam and Adam, my experience was great. Kudos to them and the entire Mauer Chevrolet team for making my experience a great one!

Took an hour for an oil change, and it was 70 bucks! That seemed crazy. Enough to make a guy go back to changing his own oil...
The shopping service was decent, but we came in knowing the exact car that we wanted. The extended warranty was a joke, as most are.
The things that irritated me was that they didn't tell us that they were going to pull our credit 4 times (other dealers only did it twice). They told us they were going to give us $4500 trade-in, but only gave us $4000. They also told us that they would give us a deal on Weather Tech floor liners since the car only came with generic floor mats, but they wanted more for them than I could buy them online for myself. I felt like there were a lot of little games that they play.
This morning I purchased a vehicle from Mauer Chevrolet. It is exactly want I wanted. My sales person Stew was very helpful. The vehicle was exactly as he described it over the phone and he made my buying experience very pleasant. I highly recommend this dealership.

My wife and I leased a Chevy Silverado from a different dealership 3 years ago. When we returned to that dealership to return the vehicle and get into a new one, we had an awful experience, and decided to return the vehicle elsewhere, enter Mauer Chev and Joe Anthonsen. After calling around to other Chevy Dealerships, I talked to Adam from Mauer Chev on the phone. He listened to my issues, answered my questions and got me in contact with Joe Anthonsen, who was very responsive to my questions and we met later that night. As my wife and I walked into the dealership, the vibe was different from the previous dealership, it was late, about an hour and a half to closing time, but we were greeted warmly by the receptionist, and Joe was there to greet us as well. A night and day difference from the dealership we worked with previously. Joe was prepared, made us feel welcome, listened to our needs. And most of all, didn t treat us like we were stupid. The other dealership told me the vehicle we wanted would raise our monthly payment by $100 a month, even though we were downsizing and it was a 2019. And it took them almost an hour to give us any numbers to consider. Joe identified the vehicle we wanted, and had a price per month for us in minutes. It was almost $100 LOWER than the previous dealership, for a 2020. We did a quick test drive, did the paperwork and drove home our new 2020 Chevrolet Equinox about an hour and 45 minutes after we arrived. Everyone throughout the process was extremely helpful and nice, they worked after hours to make the purchase happen. We couldn t be more pleased! Thanks Joe and the crew at Mauer Chev for everything!
Worst place to go for good customer service and for salesman that know what they're doing my husband has been trying to get some answers about returning his leased truck back which he leased through Mauer once he went there talked to salesman he had no idea about anything then he went back to ask someone else in the business office and that wouldn't come out and help so the salesman told my husband sorry I have another appointment and left him standing there, he's tried calling there and no one returns his call.
Tim Peterson is a great salesman with excellent customer service. Definitely recommend using tim.
Only criticism is that it seems to always be busy here but that must mean they do a good job. My wait wasn't too long - a little over an hour. I was happy with my customer service. Sam does a really great job and followed up with GM about an issue with my car, hopefully saving me almost $900 on a major repair!

I am so tired of Chevy dealers leaving my upholstery a mess. Seriously guys? You can't tell me you don't have seat covers to prevent this. Pure laziness. It cost me $40 and a couple hours of time to clean up after your carelessness. Take a look... this is the level of value I have to you as a paying customer.
This is the first car dealership that I actually trust. They don't pressure you into a sale and are very helpful in answering any questions and working through the financing. Also a great service department. If I hadn't have moved out of state, I would have gone there for my next vehicle.
Had a couple questions about a prior repair that was done on a vehicle here at Mauer. Called in and spoke with Yvonne, the warranty administrator, who went ABSOLUTELY ABOVE AND BEYOND to answer my questions. Heck, she even answered some questions I didn't know I had. The interactions far exceeded my expectations, I couldn't believe I'd found somebody so helpful and with such a sunny and cheerful attitude.
