Worst Service Department in Huntsville... Just sig...

Worst Service Department in Huntsville... Just signing your car in is like being in a cattle stall. They keep you waiting and waiting... and if you are waiting on a return phone call forget! They never call you back. I called three times before taking my care in to get an estimate on service, never received a return call. No courtesy at all.

This is my 5th Chrysler and Landers McLarty is the worse service I have ever had. I wish I had known this before I bought a used car from their Subaru dealer (Which can't even provide me a copy of my extended warranty booklet).

Their Service Managers must have been trained to hustle you and to lie to you. I think they more they hustle you out of the better, even when you complain about them lying to you and jerking you around. They keep them and promote them. They kept my car for weeks and still didn't do what I asked.

Long gone are the days of personal and proficient Customer Service.

Additional Note: Finally got my car back, after a second attempt at the repair and no courtesy at pickup. They also have grease/Oil spots everywhere....

December Update....
Liars - You can't believe anything any of them say. It's a game, they pass you around from one person to another in hopes that you give up.... Really should be stopped.

Great group of folks. I would recommend them, and make sure people set aside a enough time in their day for the service department, due to them getting very busy throughout the day. I guess that means other people love the service, I know I do.

We made an online appointment for Thursday 12:45. ...

We made an online appointment for Thursday 12:45. We dropped the vehicle off at 7am on Thursday. We called mid afternoon on Thursday and were told that the vehicle hadn't been looked at yet, and probably wouldn't get looked at today. We had to leave the vehicle overnight. When we didn't hear from anyone by mid day on Friday, we called again, and were told AGAIN that the vehicle had not been looked at. I explained that we had to have the vehicle back as early as possible because we had to use it late afternoon. Called back again early afternoon, and was told that it would be repaired by the time the shop closed at 6pm on Friday. I explained AGAIN that we needed it sooner because we had to be 70 miles away at an appointment by 6pm on Friday. We were finally able to pickup the vehicle at 5pm on Friday afternoon. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable! It's unacceptable on 2 levels...#1, if you won't be able to get to a vehicle by the appointment time, then don't allow customers to make an appointment online. Customers will make plans based on the appointments, thinking it will be adhered to, and when the appointment is not kept by the service department, it causes issues. #2, there was NO proactive communication, or no communication period from anyone in the service department. If I wanted to know if the vehicle was being looked at or worked on, I had to initiate that communication. In my opinion, if the service department can't look at the vehicle by the appointment time, there should be a phone call made to the customer explaining the situation. It would be much easier to digest, if there is proactive communication. I wasn't told in advance that my vehicle wasn't going to be looked at on Thursday. I could have shown up to get my vehicle at closing time on Thursday, and would have been stranded. On Friday, I wasn't told when the vehicle would be looked at. Once work started on the vehicle, I wasn't called! No one communicated that the vehicle was being worked on, or what the issue was! Extremely poor customer service! It ended up being a warranty issue and the cost was covered, but this is completely overshadowed by incredibly poor customer service.

I recently brought in my Jeep tht was having an issue. The service I received was amazing. My issue was diagnosed and repaired in no time and the price was much less than I anticipated. The waiting room was comfortable and the people were friendly. I highly recommend them for any of your service needs.

Do not I repeat Do not take your car to this place...

Do not I repeat Do not take your car to this place for Service. I also would recommend not buying a certified used car from them as they do not inspect them before certifying them. When I bought car three days later check engine and brake light on. I took car in for repair told it was a minor repair and should be fine. One week later same lights on again. Returned car the next day told the car required an extensive head repair job and I had to pay a warranty repair deposit. I informed them I was not paying any such fee as the car was certified used and should not have any problems. They finally agreed to fix car without such payment. I was given a rental car but had to provide my own transportation to dealership to pick up a rental. They proceeded to have my car for almost 2 weeks before the repair was finished. When I was able to finally pick up my car I was told how lucky I was because of practically 3000 dollars worth of work was completed. No joke.

Fast forward Jan 11, 2017 took car in because check engine light on. The attendant read the control told me it was Transmission Control Module and would call me to inform of cost. Five hours past, no call. I called dealership on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on. I promptly called back spoke to Scott Dexter. He told me they had not figured out the problem yet, and he would call me back. an hour or so passed before he finally called back. I was told again problem under review and he would call before closing at six pm. 5:45 pm no call, so I called in and spoke to Scott Dexter. He informed me they would not get to my car today and if I had problem I could come pick it up. I informed him that was unacceptable as my car needed repair. He proceeded to tell me he would give me a call by end of day Jan 12, 2017. Once again informed him that was not acceptable as I was a disable veteran and had an important VA appointment. VA appointment are hard to get and if missed the wait time can be excessive. He stated he would call me before 11 am .

I waited for call and went to website and lodged a complaint and was assured someone from management would call within the hour. That call was never received. Derek called later that day and stated it was not TCM but a sensor issue which would cost 54.00. he also advised my tire rods were in need of repair plus front end alignment. I authorize the repair. Received call toward close of business stating tire rod repair and front end alignment not recommended because rack and pinon plus struts need repairing. I asked the cost and was told with 10 percent discount cost would 818.00. I agreed and authorized repair. I was told my car would be ready today Jan 13. 2017. Finally Scott Dexter called and told me car was ready and sent driver to pick me up. Once I arrived he asked me to have a seat he had to get my paperwork together.

Scott Dexter asked me to come to area where cashier is located and have a seat. He proceeded to explain I was not charged for sensor issue but the total cost of repair would now be 980.00. I proceeded to inform him that was not what I was told 30 minutes ago over the phone and would only pay 818.00 I was informed was the final cost. He proceeded to argue with me I told him I would not tolerate it. He stated he needed his manager permission and I was unfair to him. He finally came back with a ticket for agreed upon amount. I read everything very careful and asked about warranty on the parts installed, paid for repairs.

In conclusion this was a very stressful and totally unprofessional experience. I will never buy another car or have service performed at Landers Mclarty Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. I will advise anyone I know to avoid at all costs especially my fellow Veterans and service member.

I made an appointment over the phone a little over a week in advance to get new tires put on. When I get there, he says we are backed up it will be about 3 to 4 hours. (What is the point of an appointment?) We have to wait on it because we live an hour and half away. I ask if there is a car we can use to go somewhere while we wait. Answer is we do not loan cars out anymore but you can use the shuttle or rent a car. However, the shuttle does not run on Saturdays and we do not have any cars available to rent. After over an hour of waiting, he comes out and says "They got your car in to start working on it and the guy that was supposed to order your tires did not order them". "We can have them Tuesday though." (Why was this not checked before we got there or upon our arrival?) Not one part of this story is acceptable. I bought my car at the beginning of 2017 and I haven't had a problem until my last two visits. They have been awful.

I was introduced to Ashly Salazar by our Subaru dealer to assist us in our search for the perfect Ram 1500 pickup. When we arrived on the lot Ashly immediately picked up on what we had in mind. Within 24 hours she found us the perfect fit. She connected us with her finance manager and together they were able to get me a beautiful deal. I highly recommend Landers McLarty For all of your car needs. And you will not go wrong with Ashly Salazar. This girl knows her stuff and loves her job! Thank you Ashly!

I never purchased a vehicle from here, but i worked there for one week and it was the most awful work environment I've EVER worked in the managers are idiots. The deals are rigged they train you to put lots of pressure on your customers and force them to sign awful deals. The first 2 days i worked the floored i was harrassed and talked down by each manager and had my life threatned by a fellow sales associate in front of another manager and nothing was documented or address. I worked under constant pressure and fear for my life until the point i had to walk out completely in the middle of my shift, and i've never walked out of a job in my whole 39 years of life!! I reccomend no one to buy from the crooked dealer as i have had a first had view from the inside out. Please don't waste your money go somewhere else and get a good low pressure deal!!!

I had a very good experience, an old GPS made me miss my turn and I could not make it back before parts closed. I called and told them the part I needed and what happened. When I got their a few minutes after closing. They let me in and already had the part pulled.

I had a problem with my car and I had purchased the extended warrenty on my car when I bought it. Derrick the service man called me and said that it was gonna cost me almost $1000 to fix my car, I told him that I has the best warranty that you can get and he argued with me and my husband that we didn't. I even called my dealership to confirm and I called Derrick back and he still argued with me. So I told him to please don't touch my car and I would come pick it up. I took my warranty papers and my car to another shop

I'm very disheartened by my experience at Landers ...

I'm very disheartened by my experience at Landers McLarty. After purchasing a new car we we found some damage that had been converted up with a thin layer of paint, probably from unloading the vehicle or as it went in for it's cleaning before we drive it home. When this was brought to the attention of General Manager he explains to us how his 90k vehicle has scratches on it and he just deals with it.

After explaining we would not accept the damage we were informed we would have the bumper replaced, painted and will receive a check for the amount of our first payment. Our concerns at this point is the car we just purchased with only 12 miles on it will now have said damages that would need to be reported to car fax. When this was discussed with the General Manager we were informed that the repairs would be under $500 so "we couldn't get them in trouble" for not reporting the issue. At this point starting to realize this is probably not uncommon for this dealership we explain it's not about getting anyone in trouble but getting the new car we purchased.

Once we are informed the car is ready for pickup we find out all that was done was a paint touch-up. Our rep at the service center informed the GM that we would like to speak to him and rather than come out of the building only stared through the window and walked away. We are taken by the rep to check out everything and no longer see the damage but continue to wait of the Managers to speak to us. We finally walk in to the dealership to see if we can find him. When we make it to the office he motions us and and stares at us, I assume waiting for us to explain why we were there. We explain he told us we would have a check waiting for us when we picked it up. He stated since he was taking care of this issue he would find out where it was and we could pick it up later that day... Or it was in the mail. (We should find out soon)

The lack of concern for our issues was insulting. This with the fact that we purchased a new vehicle and it's been in the shop just as long as we had to actually drive it really showed us where we stand with this dealership. Next time we will shop somewhere else, hopefully somewhere that actually seems to care that we are spending our hard earned money.

Not great business practice to have 2-3 salespersons walk past an interested customer that arrives in a Jeep JK, clearly looking at the JL and also standing patiently waiting to be greeted at the front desk. Easy way to lose a strong lead. Mind you, there s not another customer in sight. I ll gladly take my business elsewhere.

The service department is a freaking joke. Stealership! They charge way more than they should for everything, tell you that you need multiple things changed and replaced when that is not the case, and take forever to service your vehicle. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Terrible experience. Went to look at a used truck and I called and was told it was there and ready to go. So I loaded my 2 year old son up and went to look at it. When I get there they say no it is in service but we can see what else we got let s look at your truck and get it appraised. So me and my son go inside and sit. The sales lady asks for some information. Next thing I know they have ran my credit without asking me and pulled around in a rusted out ram 2500 that I never even got to look at or ask pricing or anything. I told the sales lady it was not at all what I was looking for she walked away and never came back so that was it. Me and my son got in my truck and left. Now I keep getting phone calls from 3rd party agencies that can t even pronounce the dealership name. Worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. Sorry to be so honest. Nicholas Thomas

***DONT WALK, RUN AWAY***
Found a truck on their website, got multiple emails say it was available, was contacted by Brian and was in communications for two days prior to agreement on prices, Brian and other Landers employees reassured me the the truck was not sold and they were eager to sell it to me. After being told to fill out a credit application online we were preaproved and I was ready to make the four hour drive...Then I get a random text from Brian saying we are selling that truck ....The truck was sold two days before we came to an agreement, so they ran my credit on a vehicle they didn t have to sell, the manager was rude and told me You should have done your homework .....Current dispute is filed with the credit bureau..I literally just got a call from there online sales department yesterday trying to sell me the same truck again...They are only concerned about sales and have zero consideration for customer satisfaction, incompetence on every level.

This has been one of my worst experiences with any service department ever. I guess they won't allow a zero. I purchased a 2016 Grand Cherokee a year ago from Landers McCarty and there was a problem with the capless gas tank that required them to repair the hose to the tank. I had a check engine light come on a couple months ago and went it and was told it was a emission sensor that resulted from the earlier repair. They reset it and said if it comes back on return and they will repair it. I already hate going there because they take forever, never return calls and act as if you are interrupting them every time you get to speak with someone, but today was my last visit ever. I returned to get the sensor replaced and was told I would have to pay for it. Yes I will get it replaced but not at your spot. Stay away from them if at all possible and never will I purchase a vehicle thru Landers. Out

We met my mother at the service department today. ...

We met my mother at the service department today. She came in for an oil change and before we got there they had convinced her to get a fuel induction cleaner service for $180. First I can tell you that a car with only 29k miles does not need this service. I don t care how many miles your car has if it s not misfiring or rough idling it doesn t need this service. Then they persuaded her to replace the cabin air filter even though it s not recommended until 40k miles. She came in for an oil change and by the time she left her bill was $345 for mostly unnecessary services. This is an example of a service department taking advantage of their customers that are not well informed. Sadly, these sorts of shady practices are standard across the industry. I would recommend anyone seeking car service first check maintenance schedules in their owners manuals. If the service department recommends something not in these schedules and the car is running ok then you don t need it. I had previously believed that Landers McClarty was better than this, but apparently, if they feel they have a live one they ll immediately pounce.

I had the pleasure of working with Josh and Edward and I don't know their last names but they were absolutely fantastic. I was having some issues with my airbag and I also had a recall on my car and they were very helpful very respectful they were very pleasant to work with. They made sure to keep me informed on everything that needed to be repaired. It was a very good experience. Thank you Ed and Josh for making my first experience with Dodge fantastic.

Just want to post a short shout out to Richard Green at Landers-McLarty Dodge. Outstanding service and product knowledge. I actually bought a Fiat from him at the neighboring dealership. I am a Ram Truck owner so we had the opportunity to talk Ram and he knows his Dodge as well as his Fiat. Give him a call, he's the kind of car salesman you'll enjoy spending time with.

Buying experience was great, however the service department down the road is junk. When you walk in the service door. Everyone looks mad at the world, they have attitudes. Nobody greets you, it is like pulling teeth. Every time I have to get my vehicle serviced, I dread driving out there. It would be nice to feel appreciated, since after all it is the consumer/customer that keeps the lights on. My family and I have bought over a dozen new vehicles from them. I can honestly say, I am fed up with them and will either go to a new dealership or another brand. I advise others to do the same.

They should change their slogan to "Sale you a car while you're husband is fighting in Afghanistan, screw the paperwork up 16 times, then take the car back a week before he comes home leaving you stranded". Deceitful people just looking to make a buck. If you do not have an auto loan already secured with a Leander you trust, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.

We stopped by Landers McLarty DCJR while looking at a couple Jeeps in the area. It was by far our best experience while shopping for a Jeep. Tay is an excellent salesman that was informative, passionate, and an all around great personality. We told him up front that the Jeep was above what we wanted to spend but wanted to see what they could do. He and his sales manager gave us excellent, competitive prices on both my trade in and the Jeep itself. Unfortunately we couldn't work out the financials on our end, but Tay and his sales manager never pressured us and were very accomodating through the entire process. We will continue to check their website and if one comes up that is a better fit for us we would happily make the drive down from Nashville to work with them again. Overall our experience was a pleasure, the best experience we've had while shopping for a car.

Danet Leyba- Went above and beyond to assist me. I drove four hours to pick up my Jeep Cherokee and contacted Danet to send me pictures of the used Jeep and to conduct a walk around of the vehicle with notes on any damage that existed. Danet was very transparent throughout the whole process and was very upfront. Danet also made the communication process easy by responding with text messages to questions which in present day is the streamlined form of communication. Placed a deposit on the vehicle so that it would be pulled off the lot and held for me. Danet made the process streamlined and very pleasurable. Danet gave us space to ensure we made the right decision and also had the vehicle reconditioned again and spruced up to our expectations. She not once hesitated to go the extra mile to earn our business.

Chris Allan- Went above and beyond for me, he looked into the pricing for the warranty I purchased. He shared his past experience with the warranty, his knowledge and his recommendation. He also took additional time to ensure my financing needs and requests were fulfilled. Chris went above and beyond to welcome us to the McLarty family by obtaining Jeep hats for the both of us and we even had a guy in the building give us a voucher for a free dinner after inquiring about places to eat. Chris really sealed the deal with the time and effort and again transparency with conversations we had. Chris is the finance director but went out of his way to assist us when it wasn't his exact job requirement as a director to do so. He ensured we were comfortable while waiting to get into the fiance office to fill paperwork out and ensured the process moved very smoothly.

It's not everyday you hear of a dealership offering the best prices, the best customer service and a deal you feel happy with when walking away. This dealership has the most competitive prices within a 500-mile radius. Will be returning down the road to make another purchase due to the experience. They fight to get you the best APR rate on your vehicle purchase and inform you of every step in the process.

Tay was so patient in finding the perfect car for me. He and the managers Ray and Chris went above and beyond to locate my car since they didn't have the specific one I was looking for. I will have to stop by and say hello to them sometime, they're were all so friendly and cheerful to be around!!

Worst car buying experience and handling of an issue ever. Management needs to step up its game. First the finance guy puts in a credit application for my husband even though he stated he didn't want one. A week or so after buying the car we get a jeep credit card in the mail! The engine goes out it after having it almost 2 months. The service guy promised to call him about a rental and didn't follow through, my husband had to call him. When he got there they sent him to Subaru...they could have told him this ahead of time. Once he got to the Subaru location he waited there for almost 2 hours because they didn't have a car ready. Someone could have called and made arrangements.

The customer service is trash....in person and on the phone. All I needed was an update on my daughters truck that was brought in this morning for a recall and I was hung up on 3 times waiting on hold for over 20 minutes! That s the reason why I would NEVER buy another vehicle from Landers! And I would never refer anyone to you all again. Unacceptable!

Just wanted to update my experience with Landers McLarty Dodge! At first I was very upset ,because my car had problems, took it in to serice dept, cost over $1,800 to fix it,picked it up,another light came on,took it back, same thing, but I want to say, after e-mailing the manager, and letting them know I wasn't happy, they did get everything fixed, and we're very nice, courteous to me and my husband, and made sure we were satisfied with all they did to make it right,at no charge! It definitely renewed my faith in them, and the care we received.Yes,it wasn't pleasant having a car off and on for awhile, but they did make it right, and I wanted to give them kudos for doing that We have always bought our cars there,,and if someone isn't happy with something, they will do everything to make you happy,at least they did for me,and they stand behind their work. Thank you!A satisfied customer,Carol Laney!

My experience was with Amanda internet sale and Willie White, I must say they are wonderful. A very much thank you to Barney and to the finance team Joshua and Venson. Me and my wife said a job well done. I will be referring peoples I know to the dealership and post it on my face book page

They were super helpful and friendly at first, except where they left out the part of showing me a $600 fee that "could be worse, as other dealerships have as high as $700". $600 to move a car from the back lot to the front and process some paperwork is some serious BS.

But I'll take ownership of not reading over the full details of the sales agreement with a fine tooth comb to catch them.

I'm looking into purchasing a jeep and wasn't exactly sure what I wanted till I walked in and Ashley helped me find it. I'm still trying to decide on features. Good luck scheduling a recall repair. I have called 6 times and let the phone ring 10 times each call. Never spoke with anyone other that the person transferring me to the recall service. What a Pain!!! What makes it even worse, there is not another place close that can perform the work. I guess I'll have to get hold of a manager.

There is a reason dealerships are referred to as stealerships.

On December 27, 2016, my wife and I took her car to the service department for a simple oil change and tire rotation. When she brought it home, she noticed a wobble in the front, right tire. She never informed me of this, because, well, she has better things to think about. I got in to drive it on Monday (1/9/17), I noticed the issue, and we took it in to have the problem addressed yesterday (1/13/17). Being somewhat of a car guy, I assumed the wheel was out of balance. The person she spoke to on the phone, prior to the visit, said the dealership would re-balance it for free, since it may have been an error on their part. We were called back, shortly after dropping it off, and were told the rim, itself, was bent. Really? We were then, as they're so carefully trained to do, given a speech about road force tests, which show that we wouldn't have been able to feel the wobble when the wheel was on the rear of the car. Bro, I know cars. With that wimpy little suspension on her Journey, we can feel everything. We hit a leaf and I got whiplash.

She has to go out of town this weekend, and I am obligated to haul some equipment with my truck, so we were forced to have them replace the wheel AND tire (since the wobble apparently caused it to wear prematurely). Had we had time to investigate, I would have taken the vehicle from their possession, and had someone give a second opinion. So, due to our lack of time, we went from a free re-balance, to a $500 rim, tire, valve stem replacement, plus mount and balance, and "environmental fees".

I don't take my 2014 RAM there, because I don't trust them. She insisted on only letting them touch her car, up until this point. The good news for them is, their training on how to to teach Service Writers to screw over "loyal" customers works. Good job. Glad you can sleep at night. So I had previously gave this dealership 5 stars and ranted about how amazing they were when I bought my car but 4 months later I am now realizing how WRONG I was. First of all when I bought the car the salesman had told me he was going to put a spare tire in the car for me.. he did not. Fast forward 4 months later and I am finally getting to take the top of my jeep only to find out that the salesman had sold me my jeep WITHOUT the key to take the top off and had mislead me to believe that I was going to be able to remove the top without it. Went to the dealership and had to BUY THE KEY THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE IN THE CAR only to find out that the top was jammed and would not come off. A salesman from inside comes out to help me and proceeds to break the latch trying to open the top. Salesman plays it off and tries to act like he didn't do it. Now if it rains I could possible have rain come through the top. He then asks me for my jeep bag for the top....car didn't have one...didnt even know it was suppose to. He then asks me for an owner's manual...didnt have one of those either...car didn't come with one those either. The salesman helping me was so shocked that he actually asked me where I bought my car and then he was even more shocked when I said there. After all of this they told me to make an appointment for the next week to get the top fixed. I drove TWO HOURS out of the way to show up to this appointment only for them to tell me that they don't order parts on Saturday and I would need to come back next week for them to just LOOK at my jeep to figure out what part and then come back again for them to fix it. Not only was I manipulated and taken advantage of when sold this car but I feel like instead of someone fixing this problem they continued to just push me to the side. I WILL NEVER buy another vehicle from here and neither will my family or friends if I can help it.

Brought my 2016 Ram 2500 in for warranty work, they had to replace the cam and all the lifters. Dropped it off 5/30/17 and picked it up on 6/17/17. Several issues I noticed when I got home, horable quality control. I did notify the service Rep and was told they would order the coolant hose assembly and it would take a week to come in. It's went from a week to a month. What really pissed me off is the trans fluid being 2 qts low. I could not wait a month for all these other things to get fixed so I have fixed all but the coolant hoses and a few factory fasteners.

1. The hood was not closing right
2. Oil all over my cowling
3. Oil dipstick was bent all the way over to the inner fender
3. Windshield washers was not working
4. Rubber air dams not installed correct
5. Coolant hoses that go to the oil cooler were not fastened do to broken fasteners
And was dangling down by my exhaust manifold on the passenger side
6. Main wire harness was not fasten back to its factory location and this has caused a
The protective shielding to have a hole rubbed in it, also # 5 was part of this problem as well
7. Transmission had a recall on the solenoid pack, this was replaced. Checked th trans fluid later in
Week and it was 2qts low.
8. There is a rubber shim between your headlight and fender and this was broken

UpDate,

All my issues have been resolved, think you Derick and Matt for staying on top of these issues.

I want to compliment your group for a very fine employee. I recently needed help from your parts department and Steve Smith did all he could to help me. I think Steve actually went beyond what might be required. Even though Steve, ultimately, was not able to solve my problem, he worked on it until he found the problem couldn't be fixed. Steve and others in your service department are reasons why I continue to buy cars from your dealership.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a car from Phillip Powell, he was an honest trust worthy salesman, and most of all he was patient with my mother and I. When Phillip initally called me I told him that I was not ready to purchase, because of my current financial situation, and that he should give me a call back next month. Most salesman are either really pushy and try to get you to come in anyway, or just don't care and never call you back. Phillip called me back the following month and worked out a payment that fit my budget. My mother and I were at the dealership for a couple hours but those few hours felt like 15min because Philip bought us lunch and walked us through the whole buying process step by step. Above and Beyond Customer Service. Iam forever thankful for that. I will recommend my family and friends to buy a car from Phillip.

Dropped my 1986 Jeep off on a Wed morning with an ignition problem.

After four business days all they had done is swapped out my starter.

Derek one of the service reps repeated said he would return my calls but did not.

WILL BE TOWING MY VEHICLE from their service department TO ANOTHER SHOP after spending $400 tomorrow

When I went there to check the status of my vehicle I did not see it in a repair bay - mostly high end vehicles were being repaired.

Their volume appears very high.

My dad Greg Stickler posted a one star rating earlier. I wanted to update that because of Matt Hutson that one star is now a five star rating. He turned a very bad experience into an amazing one. After several problems in service department including miscommunication and my moms jeep breaking down at gas station after pick up, Matt immediately towed back to shop without charging us more money and took care of all the issues which were unrelated to what they even fixed personally that afternoon. My mom's jeep was ready first thing the next morning! Matt had excellent customer service. He was kind to all of us even when it wasn't his fault. I would highly recommend working with him to anyone.

Jody was very attentive and kept me aware of what was being done with my truck each step of the way. He was an absolute gentleman and offered me water as I waited and periodically checked in on me. Jody also walked me to the cashier and explained each line item of my bill. Because of his attentiveness I didn't mind that it took a little longer because the air filter had to be ordered. I Loved the experience!!!! There deserves to be more people with his attention to detail and customer relations skills throughout the customer service industry.

Thank you Jody YOU ROCK!

I have been taking my Jeep here for the past 2 years. Time before last one of the lug nuts fell off after servicing. This past time I was charged for new lug nuts because a few had been stripped off and for new wheel studs. The day after servicing one of the hubcaps disappears. When I called the service rep, Hannah, I am told she is busy and will get back to me. That was a week ago.

Landers McLarty continues to improve their service department each time I visit with exceptional results. When I visited last week, I was greeted by an extremely nice service department rep, Conner who made my visit an outstanding experience -Thank You!

I also feel the management of Landers McLarty genuinely cares about their customers. I look forward to bring my Jeep in for its next scheduled service!

Every time I bring my truck in for an issue, I always end up having to leave it longer or bring it back again because issue is either not fixed, or another problem was created. Most recently- took in for an alignment, now electronic running boards don't work. Drive an hour to get there already, it's beyond frustrating.

Update #2: From 3 back to 1. I played phone tag a couple of times with Edward Anderson on Saturday. Due to being busy at my job when he called and I'm assuming him being busy at his prevented us from speaking. I received a text message from Edward stating he would get in contact with me on Monday. The dealership is closed and he did not attempt to contact me at all. I will have to take time out of my schedule to go in person. On another displeasing note, they told me my caliper was fine, which is false. When I stop my brake light comes on and you can hear the faint grinding noise for about 20 feet or so before the brakes disengage. So now I will have to find somewhere else because I have lost all faith in this dealership and their service department.

Update: Changed from 1 to 3 star. The actual service manager, Edward, contacted me around 7:30 that evening. He informed me he wasn't sure who I had talked to and ensured me it wasn't him. He also ensured me that he would find out who I spoke with when I originally was passed over to the "service manager." He's offered to refund the rear brakes since I did not ask to have them installed.

I took my Sebring into the service department yesterday. I specifically asked them to check the front caliper and to change the brakes and rotors on the front only. First phone call I received said they were replacing the caliper and the brakes like I requested. A few hours later my car was "finished." I was charged over 500 which I didn't question because I was under the impression they fixed everything. Last night I inspected my bill and realized they did not change the caliper, but changed my front and rear brakes and rotors. I did not ask nor authorize my rear brakes to be replaced. I called today at 11:30 and spoke with my service advisor. He tried to explain how they changed my rear brakes without me saying to and then put me on hold to speak to the service manager. He did not identify himself at first and was extremely rude. I explained the situation and he said he doesn't see the problem because my bill would have. Even "well over 800" by them just changing the brakes and rotors. I informed him they did not have my authorization to change my rear brakes. He said he would "investigate" the problem and call me back at 3:00 PM. 3:30 I call the dealership and ask to speak to the service manager. The person who answered said that he did not hasn't gotten to the bottom of it. He also promised to call me back. The service department is now closed and I have not received a phone call. I will continue to update this review if anything changes.
