Nice place, but my pizza always comes out not as cooked as I like. They've gotten better but still a bit to go if you load up on the toppings
For true pie perfection... -after they put all your toppings on, have them put a small amt. of cheese on top and then do a light olive oil brushing on top of that.... Lastly ask them for a double bake through the oven. You're welcome.
See pic for perfect pie.
The staff helped me with creating an event for incoming students on campus. The food was on time, pizza was hot, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Thank you for making the event such a success!
Great pizza with a shirt wait. They make personal pizzas right in front of you so you can choose what to put on it or not
Very good (got the veggin out pizza) but the crust has no flavor and the ordering process is confusing and a bit inefficient
The pizza isn't groundbreaking. Everyone will say it's amazing, and great for college campuses. It's also great to throw out when the pizza isn't good. The pizzas that I've tried are decent, they're not like an actual pizza place. 10/10 I'd barely recommend.
It is a little expensive; however, pizzas are large enough for two meals. Everything is super fresh.
Great beer selection. Perfect place to go and have a beer after taking a test or finals. Their pizza is pretty bomb.
The pesto mia pizza is sooo goo, definitely my favorite. But I also love the classic cheese!!! I havent truee the garlic bread yet but I'm sure it's amazing. They also have VEGAN cheese and "light" mozzerella available! Just ask for it
Plenty of pizza options and the food is usually out quick. Definitely good pizza, but doesn't really stand out from the crowd(which is hard to do as a pizza joint, to be fair). A lot of students work there, and there's a service that lets you pay to play your own music from a predetermined library which is pretty cool(I have a friend who has played prog metal more than a few times).
Awesome beer selection, great pizza crust and sauce, plus lots of topping to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pizza is great! The wings are great too! We went to sit outside in the patio area, which wasn't supposed to be closed for a whole hour and a half. The employee began to drag chairs together and put everything away. He was making so much noise it became un comfortable to be out there. We were there with two other customers. They got up and left. We stayed and tried to enjoy our pizza, but he was being pretty obnoxious with the dragging of chairs. As soon as we got up to leave he took our chairs and put them away, closed the patio, and turned off the lights. It wasn't even close to being closing time. A couple tried to walk out to sit outside and he told them it was closed. I'm not sure if he was just trying to leave early or didn't want to deal with cleaning up outside later. But it was really uncomfortable and rude. I'm not coming back.
Place was closed when I got here, summer hours aren't updated online.
I love their salads. So filling and you can add as little or as much meat as you want. Really good ranch dressing as well.
Pizza is just ok at best. The gimic is that you can customize it. But really, the only reason to come here is that it's the only place to drink beer on campus.
Very good pizza for the price. Also it's the only place on campus you get a good beer with friends! Highly recommended
Overpriced Mediocre pizza with good costumer service. Nuff said.
Pizza is cranked out fast and delicious. Beer selection is great and fair price.
Quick service. Really good pizza. Toppings are loaded
Love the place.
Especially the beer.
Poor service I am sad to admit. The location was not busy and after 20 minutes of waiting, my wife had to go to the counter to see what was going on. The workers were not aware of our order.
I hope service improves as the school year continues.
The only place at sdsu that serves good beer to go with really good food
This Oggi's Pizza Express location is fantastic! The wait is short, the prices are fair, and the pizza is great! Building your own pizza is my favorite reason to dine here because the topping selection is amazing.
I love the college scene. Food and Drinks are Great. Can't wait to go Again.
Great place to unwind after a long midterm, or intensive project. Plus if you join the mug club you get an awesome mug the hold extra beer and a cool shirt. They normally have a pretty good beer selection and I'm always happy with the rotating beers. Prices are fair as far as normal san Diego brewery prices go. I go pretty frequently so I would recommend going to anyone looking for pizza and beer.
The food is amazing. They make their own meats and my non vegan boyfriend said the burrito we had was some of the best mexican food he's ever had. Highly recommend if you're in the area during one of their pop ups!!
Decent pizza albeit crust isn't on par compared to chain pizza places
Pizza is great and so are the salads. I just tried the Gluten-Free crust today and it was really tasty, my friend said she wouldn't have know it was gluten free if I hadn't told her.
They usually have a decent selection of craft beers, but they are over priced and as far as I have ever seen, there is no happy hour. ever.
Other downside is that unless you are on campus (or popping off the trolly stop on campus) its not that convenient to get to.
This is one of my staple foods while attending sdsu. They serve thin crust pizza which is much more health than vinnys pizza that is also on campus. I am kind of a normal pizza person, but really havent had any complaints about my food. The ordering process allows you to choose what you want, where it will be freshly made with fresh ingredients. It is around 10 dollars for a 6 slice 10 inch pizza with charges for other toppings, but it is worth it. There are also fountain drinks, chocolate milk, salads, and chicken wings, but I dont generally get that kind of stuff when I go to a pizzeria. Not quite sure about their prices but around 2, 4, 2, and 5 dollars respectively.
Two words: pizza & beer. Done right, does it really get any better than that?
Yay! A place with a vegan pizza option! And it's really good too! (with Daiya, by the way.) I get it with cilantro, basil, red and green peppers, onions, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes... Other than that, it's a loud place. Though that makes sense since it's a place where younsters congregate (it's at SDSU basically.)
Good place to get beer, pizza and kick back.
The staff are pretty new, so expect delays and okay customer service.
The $5 (+tax) Oggie's beers are definatly worth the lines.
