My service light came on and needed an oil change and tire rotation, Eric Chau was able to schedule me an appointment and gave great customer service right when i drove in to Honda. They were very helpful and fast!

I was car shopping for used cars online and found the car I wanted to buy. They sent it thru their service department and had it tuned up and put new tires on and still gave me a good deal. I look forward to doing business with them in the future

I continually bring my Honda CR-V here for service. The employees are friendly, courteous, professional and savvy. The service advisors make suggestions for work you may want done on your vehicle, without them pressuring you to do it right there on the spot. They also make service recommendations for your vehicle at appropriate intervals.
It was a great experience with the Honda Serramonte salesperson, very helpful and accommodating. He explained every details very well, not only about the car but also the thing about the finances. Thanks and we got our first New Honda Civic sedan :)
Darryl was great as always. The only problem was the car took longer than expected to get back. I dropped it off at 830am and was suppose to be done in 3hrs. I didn't get the car back until 130pm.
I made an 815a appointment and they were already slammed with customers. Check in was pleasant. Rep Took his time to listen to everything I needed to have checked. One area being my brakes. I was told my car would be ready around 1p, but never got a call. No news is good news. So When I called at 3p, I was advised my car was ready. That's great! I guess all was well and I didn't need brakes after all. Arrived to check out and a different rep did my check out. No mention of brakes. So I asked. He went and got my original rep who came in to tell me that they are at 2MM and we advise people to get new ones at this point. But wait!? I was never advised!!! No one called to tell me the brakes are at 2MM. That I might want to consider getting the replaced ! He said "sorry, I found out to late." Even though it was highlighted in pink on my print out. I felt my car was rushed. They couldn't recreate the ECO problem that apparently is being reported on mini vans. And now I have to make another appointment to get my brakes done! I have children that I drive around. Not happy with this visit. Too busy to service my car properly. And my tires needed to be rotated. They didn't do that either. Made up some story as to why they shouldn't rotate them. I have front wheel drive so good tires should be in the front!
My salesman was great, Alexander. Was able to negotiate the deal over the phone which was great. Sent me pics of the car via text because the pics on the website weren't that great. This was nice because had I not bought the car, while Daly city is nice, the traffic getting there and going home was not. Sitting in it with out the car would have been worse. Thanks Alex. The reason for the 4 is the parking for your personal vehicle at the lot... Pretty bad. Got blocked in, saw another customer run into another car, but that wasn't the fault of the salesman, maybe management should have less fleet or get an overflow lot. Thanks again Alex
Do not trust this dealership with online shopping due to the pandemic. I was being helped by Thomas who promised me that as long as I would submit the application they would be able to hold the vehicle for me. Thomas even gave me his word that his manager approved, since I wanted to make sure that I was promised the vehicle if I started the process. After submitting the application I was told that I would need more down payment money. I informed Thomas that would not be a problem. After trying to make several other excuses Thomas finally let me know that the vehicle was being looked at by another customer at the dealership, even after he let me know that no one else was interested in the vehicle 10 minutes prior when I submitted the application. He then tried selling me other vehicles that I was not interested in. I asked why the person in store had a right over me if I was already starting the process and he had confirmed there was no one else interested in the vehicle. I also questioned him as to why he s trying to sell me another vehicle if the other person was just looking at the vehicle. Thomas then confirmed that the other person basically had already bought the car. After speaking with the manager he told me that they do not hold vehicles and that he never reassured Thomas that they would hold the vehicle for me. Very untrustworthy dealership and they should not be promoting online shopping if the person shopping at the dealership has a right over you.
I just made a purchase at Honda of Serramonte. I purchased a 2016 Toyota Camry. I was helped by Edmund who referred me too Ken because I went Wednesday November 27th looking for a 2017 Honda Sport. I was not satisfied with the used Honda Sports mileage and Edmund showed me the Toyota Camry which was my second choice of cars. I test drove it and was ready to make my purchase which I did the very next day. Edmund was off that day and he had given me his personal cell phone number to call him when I was on my way to get the car. I soon received a text from Ken who was patiently waiting upon my arriva. I paid the full asking price and paperwork was a swift process I was out in about a hour and a half with my gently used 2016 Toyota Camry 22,298 miles. Thank you Edmund, Ken and everyone else who was part of that process. I am so overjoyed and content with my purchase. The Honda of Serramonte dealership has an outwardly friendly Team.
They were helpful! It was Thanksgiving week and they were busy, but they help me identify a way and time to bring my CRV in to check on the punctured tire! Plus they were efficiently fast! Would I recommend them, OF COURSE!
Visited the dealer during times of Covid and was able to get an appointment right away. The sales person was very helpful and provided great service during the entire sales process. Ending up purchasing the car on the same day and is very happy.

** PLEASE SEE MY UPDATED EXPERIENCE ** My continued experience here at Honda of Serramonte is horrible. I hate calling this dealer for anything as they make it more complicated. Scheduleing an appointment for service on the website is even more difficult. The whole recall process took 5 months before they even had the part in stock. When it is time to purchase a new vehicle, unfortunately will not buy from this dealer.
**Jan. 16, 2019 UPDATE** Thought I would give the Service department another try and again they seist to amaze me. Dropped my car off to check the squeeky sound from the engine (thinking it could be the timing belt), look at the check engine light as it has a mind of it's own, the rumbling feeling (this seems to be an alignment issue) and a water leak on the floor. Oliver called me back and said the inspection fee would be $500.00 or more for the 4 items to be inspected and there maybe additional fees associated with the inspection. The final assessment and confirmation of what is wrong with my vehicle has'nt even been completed yet. Now, usually an inspection or analysis fee goes toward the final cost of the work done. This is what I have experienced in the past. No, that does not happen here at Honda of Serramonte. I Called another dealaer and described the issues and they are charging $200.00 for the inspection of my vehicle. I even spoke to the Service Director Tom and he explained that they do not give free service or inspections. This was rude and insulting. His tone on the phone was condesending. I admit I was no angel either, however making that statement and his demeanor, I will no longer go to Honda of Serramonte. Below is my post from 3 years ago and two years before that they even tried to over charge for the service on my vehicle. Be very careful if you chose to use this Dealer Service. I am picking up my vehicle today before 5pm from Honda of Serramonte to take it to the other deadlership.
I would give Zero stars if google had any. I had THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE in my life. I felt pressured, very unprofessional salesman, and not to mention they wanted me to buy so many add ons to cover for their low MSRP cost of the vehicles. They didn't listen to what I was looking for they were just trying to sell me a car. I ended up leaving and went to San Francisco Honda where they were pleasant, nice and very HONEST with me. Something I really look for in a dealership. If your looking to buy a new Honda, I suggest going to SF Honda. Serramonte may offer lower ticket prices, but comes with hidden extra warranties and add ons you don't need.
I completely recommend you people to stay faraway as you can from that ddealer, first took for ever to make our deal. We trade in a car for $5000 minuses $4000 Costco price, and we put down $ 2500 cash so all together was $11,500.00 when the retail price was $19,290.00 so at this point the car was $7,790.00 the take care the payoff of the trade in, $ 7000.00 the car wen up to $ 14,790.00 with the interest at 0.9% So we agreed we went to sing the contract. Why you have to read 40 pages when you are trustworthy of the deal we made with the salesman and his boos. week in a half later there is in the mail the envelope with the booklet of payments OMFG from a car that was at sticker price of $19,290.00 We got a bill of pay of in two weeks is the amount of $24.000.00 almost $25,000.00 oh but after we got screwed up in day light; we had to wait almost 2 hrs to get the car clean up. And those 2 hrs we got in one corner waiting. We never saw the salesman until I look for him all pisse off. I been calling the General manager, you you think he had the B@//$ to call me back. please, please go to any Honda dealer but STAR WAY, WAY FROM SERRAMONTE HONDA.

The car is fine. It was a trade in so I can't expect too much. I have an oil leak now after two months of having it. I mistakenly purchased the Fidelity Vehicle Protection Plan. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. No parts in my oil leak are covered. The things it covers never break. The financial guy I worked with outright lied about it, and said I'd receive a debit card to put the expenses in which is totally not true. He also said that I could take it to any repair shop which is also not true. Read the reviews on BBB. I feel cheated by Honda Serranonte.

I had originally only scheduled an appointment for an oil change, but that very same morning, the B1 Service Due notice came on as I started my car to bring in to be serviced. Greg helped me that morning and assured me that they could do the additional B1 service without needing to make another appointment (tire inspection and rotation, brake inspection, resetting the parking brake, checking and changing air filters, oil and oil filter change). At the end of the service, he explained everything that they did, including how much front and rear brake pad I had left, when I should have them changed, how much tire tread I had left, etc. Very happy with my visit overall!
Experience was good for used car buying. 4 stars for the staff, especially Tony. But they did not reduce even a single dollar on the car we were interested in. Finally ened up buying a new Mazda CX5 which was only 4K over the same feature CR V used with 16K miles on it.
I was only in the shopping-around stage when I made an appointment with Honda of Serramonte but I drove away from that appointment in my new Kona Coffee-colored 2016 Honda Accord. It was because I had the perfect salesperson, Matt, who was professional yet very personable and very informative about all the features of the car. I give him 110% for customer service and a likeable can-do attitude! His love of cars and his knowledge really shines through. I was equally pleased with his manager Wally who agreed to a fantastic price without any hassle. They made car buying a pleasure.
I love honda serramonte I bought my honda civic 2 years ago and Iam very satisfied with it, personal is very nice in there and talking about the service department they are very professional and they finish really quick....if they tell you 1 hour to finish your car thats the time they really finish working in your car..my sister just bought her car in there a month ago and she is happy too,I will keep recomending this dealer to everyone, tnx

Went in for an oil change and found out while I was there that I had a nail in my tire! >.< the guy helping me, nickname is chino I believe was an amazing help he explained everything I needed to know because I don't know much about cars, and let me know they will help me fix what ever needed, they did my oil change and found out my tire only needed patch work. Had to have my Pilot towed into the Serramonte Honda service department on a Saturday morning without an appointment. The service manager was empathetic, and worked my vehicle into the service rotation to determine the problem. Needed an ordered part, so the car wasn't ready until the following Tuesday, but was pleased with the customer service and quality of the work done to correct the problem with my Pilot.

Had to bring in my 2007 Honda Pilot for an airbag inflator recall. Advisor that took care of me was great. Appointment setup was a breeze online, came in at 8:30am. Two and a half hours after, I was out. I was expecting it to be at least 3-4 hours. Thanks for the sense of urgency.

Went with a friend to look at some cars. They were very friendly and not pushy. Answered all questions. My friend felt good about it and bought a mini van. Now a week later something went wrong with the door and they got it fixed and back on the road pretty darn quickly. Took our dogs on a road time. They love the mini van.
I brought car in to serramonte honda in colma just for airbag recall problems and retrieved car without side strip on driver side of car called asap talked to the whole dept. All workers that touched my car are admitting to the manager he disrespected me to the fullest even followed me to price the piece that was stolen from there not allowing me to receive justice from them doing airbags to taking a cosmetic attachment from my vehicle and treated me like poop because of and eliminated all fairness away from me justice must be served that's not fair should I keep it real with race evidendenly that's what it was based on with no be respect. They are all asian.
I came in for A1 service. The service was completed within 1.5 hours as promised. The waiting area was spacious, quiet and comfortable and I was able work while waiting. Teddy Mui was my service advisor and he explained the work completed in a friendly and competent matter.

I normally do not leave reviews but Honda Serramonte emailed me several times asking for one, because they want to provide superior customer service, so I figured I would share my opinion. I had a 1pm appointment to have my tire checked because it kept losing pressure and I have a tire warranty through them. The service man was super friendly and helpful (I believe his name was Javier) but told me that it would be at least two hours ,probably more. I asked if they had a loaner car for me to use until the service on my car was complete-- he said no but that they do offer a shuttle that can drop us off and pick us back up within a 5 mile radius. Unfortunately, they only had one shuttle car and they said it was in Hillsborough at the moment and would not be available to pick us up for two hours !! Nothing impressive about the experience but they did end up fixing my tire before they closed for the day, luckily.
Dear HOS, I was fixing front passenger window regulator with my warranty and I didn t pay any amount and my car s right rear tyre was changing brand new one due to flat tyre warning sign on the indicator. I was telling to Brian and checked for me. He was checking with technician and said that needed to change new one bcos previous tyre was crunching on it and not sure in perfect on the road and I decided that changed brand new one with reasonable price. Thank you Brian and hope we ll see you again with free car wash in and out he said. Thank you Brian again and I gave him very excellent job.
I made an appointment with Edmund, I was running super late but he was ready to receive me. He had the car I inquired about ready for a test drive, but I declined and knew it was the one for my son's present. We went straight into the finance office and the car was ready for drive off within an hour and half from my arrival on Halloween! My son loves his new car, when I am ready for one I will definitely visit Honda of Serramonte.
Everyone was very helpful, nice, knowledgable about the car, . All my paper work was done very fast. Their price are very fair. I'm glad that I was able to make a deal with them. Definitely come back in the future.

I made an appointment for a software update and showed up on time. Brian promptly took care of me, arranged for shuttle and was back in a few hours to pick up my sparkling car. Brian always goes above and beyond my expectations of excellent customer care. Kudos to Serramonte Honda for employing such a fine, exemplary individual!

If I could rate zero, I would. I scheduled appointment for oil change only, but they did their B-1 services without my approval and charged me additional. another, I scheduled an appointment side mirror replacement and a recall, they didn't take care of the recall. Waiting is long, average 3-4 hours with appointment. Their services advisor states they want 5 excellent on his survey and if I am not satisfied with the services, I need to contact him before I rate him. So I did. Instead of accepting valuable feedback from me, he told me he didn't do anything wrong. A lady from services department called me asking how was my experience with my recent services, I told her. She did the same thing that saying the services advisor recommends type of services that the car is due for. I told her the appointment I scheduled was only for oil change. My non English spoken dad took the car in. So they took advantage of it instead of calling me to get approval with the services and charges. The lady who called me said will call me back after she investigates. Instead, a guy called me left me a phone number to back, not his direct line. I called back and they transferred me to a wrong voicemail. Then I never heard from them since.
