I purchased my 1999 Honda Civic from the old dealership and have been very happy with the car. Donika was my service rep for today's work. She was friendly, courteous and very helpful. She took the time to answer my questions and I never felt any pressure even though I chose to do some but not all of the suggested repairs. I would highly recommend Honda of Seattle!

Such a great experience! Everyone here was professional and friendly. My salesperson was patient and very helpful. I got the car that I was looking for. I would highly recommend to a family/friend.
I took my crappy 2012 Honda Civic, that I had bought in June 2015 for an absurd amount at Klein Honda, for an oil change. While I was getting my oil change I started looking around the show room at the 2016 Civics. Ever since I got my 2012 Civic I hated it. It had 60K miles on it and had been run into the ground before I purchased it. The shocks, brakes and tires were all worn down. It did not accelerate well and the engine was stalling weirdly after breaking on the highway and then having to speed up. While I looked around Darryl at Honda of Seattle came over and helped show me the 2016 Civic. I fell in love with it right away. He asked the right questions and knew that the EX would be the perfect model for me. He was so helpful and very patient with me. He and his manager helped to make leasing a Civic affordable for me. They worked out the numbers for me several different ways. Darryl was very knowledgeable about the features in the Civic. I have had my new Civic for 2 weeks and I LOVE IT. I can parallel park so much easier with the camera assist. I feel 100% safer in my new car and I don't feel like I am going to crash when I try to break. I also love that it doesn't roll backwards when I am stopped at a stop light. It is amazing to drive over I-5 and not feel every little bump and pot-hole. Darryl was so kind in helping me transfer all stuff into my new car. Darryl even sent me a thank you note to follow up. The service at Honda of Seattle was great! I would buy here again.
False advertising; Lies; Deception; Bait and switch; No customer care at all. When you first make contact with this dealership, they give you a long and very reassuring litany of their awesome customer service, a completely transparent transaction with no surprises, their customer-oriented approach, and fast sale completion. The salesman also stated they had many more of the same models I was interested in on the lot, too. That is all a crock-of-trump. This dealership is just as sleazy as the worst dealerships out there. This isn't a "special" dealership. It's just another S***hole. Here is what they did to me: I saw the car I was interested advertised on Craigslist, and then on their website. Both ads had the mileage listed at 3,816 miles. I called and started working with a salesman and we had a number of phone conversations, text messages and email regarding this car. I stated firmly I wanted to know as much as possible about the car before I made the 4 hour round trip to their dealership. We discussed the mileage more than once, and the salesman explained to me the previous owner lived in downtown Seattle in a condominium and didn t use the car for anything but trips outside the city. So I trusted the salesman as being completely transparent and knowledgeable about the car and its history. I get to the dealership and the salesman tells the mileage on the car is 10 times the mileage that was advertised. Ten times! He said sorry. SORRY?! What happened to the stellar customer service and transparency? I drove 4 hours for this BS! I asked to see the other similar models he told me about. THEY DIDN T HAVE ANY! So the dealership made up a story about the previous owner and why the mileage was so low, advertised it falsely, discussed the 3,816 miles with me at least twice on the phone. If this was an honest mistake, the salesman, the sales manager, the general manager and the owner should have had a sit-down with me to explain exactly how this mistake happened (transparency, right). They would have expressed their concern about the advertising mistake and corrected it in their advertising (they didn t change the ads). Most honorable companies would have made an attempt to rectify the situation and offer something as gesture of goodwill and as proof they really are a professional car dealership. Even if they had offered to lower the price a little for my time and the 35,000 mile mistake it would have made me feel like they valued me as a customer. Nope. Here's the real kicker - we wanted to buy two cars from them and had narrowed it down to 3 cars. I had finalized the financing that morning for the two cars and was ready to buy them both that day. After I found out about the mileage I immediately made the decision to go back to a competing dealership and pay more for the second car we wanted, and of course I didn't buy the first car.
Willie Roach initially reached out to me about my inquiry of a pre-owned Fit that was for sale on their lot; the scheduling didn't work out for me to come in when he would be available, so he passed my information onto Devin Dawson. I know it seems like this should be common knowledge, but Dawson was knowledgeable about the Fit and the other cars I tested. I really appreciated that he never tried to push me to a more expensive model, and was keen at helping me find something in my budget. I was prepared to have to haggle, but was actually quite relieved to find that this dealership has set prices and that their sales agents aren't entirely commission based- the pushiness and desperation often associated with care salesmen wasn't present here at all. Trading in my old car the next day was an easy endeavor. This was my first time buying a brand new car off a lot, and everything was clearly explained without being condescending. I'd also like to shine some light on sales manager Mike Claggett and finance officer Bob Villa who helped walk me through the financing of my new car. Thanks gentlemen!
I do not normally write reviews but I had such a great buying experience here I had to give them the praise they deserve. I was treated both courteously and respectfully from the very beginning. Every question I asked was handled in the most professional manner. The sales person, Zachery, was great. He was extremely helpful and never put any pressure on the buying process which was a huge difference from other dealerships that I had visited.
All in all I would give this dealership very high marks and do not hesitate to recommend it to friends.
Not thrilled by my experience. Salesman stated their price and showed us the car we were interested, but otherwise ignored the fact I stated the price was over what we could afford. Sad, because I bought a car the next day.
Never thought I'd be the type of person who takes their car to the dealership for service but that's before I found Honda of Seattle. Even though I didn't buy my car there I am confident I'm getting the absolute best service for a reasonable price. Kyle, the service representative I worked with the last time I took my car in was EXCELLENT! He made the unexpected cost of new tires feel quite painless as I knew it was the right time for the purchase...and the price he gave me was lower than Les Schwab!!! Go here!
Carlos was FANTASTIC during my entire leasing experience. He did a great job listening to what I wanted in a car and guided me to the Honda Insight (which I am really enjoying!). He answered all my questions and never pressured me to purchase options that I didn t need. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends - as well as the whole crew at Honda of Seattle!
Hassle free buying experience. Modest discount off MSRP , no odd dealer charges or required accessories. Wiling to give pricing over the phone , salesperson even drove the car back to my home, and Uber back, despite it being an hour + each way in rush hour traffic. After feeling like I was getting less than transparent price sheets at another area dealer, and seeing mysterious "dealer prep fees" and second stickers at another, this was a refreshing and honest way to buy a car. Car isn't mine btw but nice looking blue color available on many of the Honda lineup is pretty sharp!
Jonathan in Sales and Ryan in Finance are wonderful to work with and made my customer experience very positive. They are professional, knowledgeable and extremely efficient! I felt heard, understood and valued throughout the process. Great job, thank you!
I really appreciated Anna's approach. Since I'd had a lot of work done the previous year, she checked to make sure they wouldn't be performing any services that didn't need to be performed. That added to her credibility when she later recommended additional services based on the technician's inspection. I also appreciated that they finished all of the tasks within the time estimated. I've been coming here for years and this was my best experience so far!
Steven Paredes was very helpful. This is my first time buying a car from a dealership and he s made it so easy for me. He explained everything to me so clearly. He was patient with me when I was being indecisive, very nice man. Definitely going to buy more cars from him.
I was working with CJ and trying to get a car they didn't currently have in their inventory. He helped me out tremendously and managed to bring in the exact vehicle I was looking for from another dealership! The staff here are friendly and put in a ton of effort. CJ even stayed late to help me close out the paperwork so I wouldn't have to finish up the next day. Ask for him! He's great!
No one likes to have to take the car in for service--but this place is great. Always friendly and efficient service, comfortable waiting area, and Keith's help today was excellent, as expected.
As a first-time car-buyer, I feel that I was treated very fairly and was provided with great customer service by Honda of Seattle. Specifically, the salesperson Ramona was incredibly helpful and I did not feel pressured by her at all to choose any one option but rather felt that she advocated for the option that was RIGHT for me. She worked with me throughout the whole process, and we secured a deal that met my budgetary expectations and vehicle requirements. Ramona and the sales team did everything right by me.
The only reason I have to give 4-stars is related to the state of the car at the end of the deal. I was told that the technician team would do a full review and detailing. However, the car did not feel or look as if it had been cleaned, the trunk would not open due to only having a valet key, and I even found sunglasses in the overhead holder (presumably from the previous owner!). Additionally, when we took the car for a test drive, the tire pressure light was on. When I drove it off the lot, it was still on. Had to fix this issue on my own. This tells me that the service department did not really do their job to deliver the car to me in pristine condition.
Definitely go see Tim for buying your next car! He made everything quick and easy. I was recommended to him by a friend and I'm glad they did! The whole process was literly the fastest I've ever purchased a car. We had some criteria for the purchase and he exceeded them all! Can't say enough great things about him!
Cons: - I knew my brakes needed replacement from previous service records. These guys told me my brakes were fine. Brakes later made an unusually loud sound consistently and I had to get them replaced in emergency from other mechanic within 1 month of service at Honda - I had just bought a used car when I went to Honda of Seattle. They recommended 4 things to be serviced/replaced. I wanted to be risk free, so agreed for all 4. On checking service records with previous owner, 3 out of 4 things were not needed
I reached out to them with this feedback and they offered me a free oil change. Really?
Be very, very careful! I bought a 2012, used accord, test drove it, inspected etc. Everything seemed fine until less than 3 weeks into my ownership of the car; flooding in the trunk and all the lights keep randomly going out (was even pulled over for it) - I continued to take the car in for investigation, and they continue to try to charge me for the problem they never fixed in the first place. I had to argue with them every time to make them understand that they never fixed the issue, so they don t charge me $200 for saying the cable was loose . They keep telling me "the bulb was loose" or the power socket was loose but the problem persists repeatedly with other lights in the car. And every time I went in, it was a 4-5-hour process. All 3 times I went in, the same lady checked me in to the mechanic shop, and I could tell she was getting frustrated with me bringing the car in every week like it s my fault! Have no choice but to go to a real mechanic now and pay, potentially, a fortune to fix my cars electrical system. Worst financial decision of my life! Please, whatever you do, FULLY inspect the car before buying. Frequently play with the gadgets and make sure things don t stop working. I know time is of the essence, but that s about the only advice I can give. As I keep digging into my car, I m finding more evidence of worn out electrical tape being used to mask problems all over. I can t wait for what this car stores for me down the road.
I've always had a pleasant experience with Honda of Seattle--they're very thorough and always explain what my car needs (and when). On my most recent visit, Keith was very responsive and helpful, and communicated with me well ahead of time about some extra services my car will need soon.
I wasted my time to come to this dealership. I tried to lease a car from them and as an International Student, I don t have a social security number and they told me that s fine if I don t. I stayed there for 3 hours and sign papers, copy of my visa...etc and they even charged me for down payment then they said we can t do it without social secuirty!! now I am waiting to get me money back.
I purchased an Accord at this dealership in August, 1999 and a Civic in February, 2112. I am completely satisfied with my purchases here and with the service they provided to my auto for over twelve years. I had a good experience dealing with Jeff in making my recent purchase.
Purchased a used 2015 Honda Civic about three weeks ago. Process was smooth and quick. The best part about my experience was I did not feel pressured into buying.
Definitely check out Honda of Seattle and ask for Fransicso. Francisco answered all of my questions and concerns with ease
I brought my car into the service department because I had some questions about how to use all the buttons. Tim was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on my car, and I will definitely be talking to him when my car needs service.
easily my smoothest car lease ever with Alejandro! i was in and out within 2 hours with a very fair price and a sweet new ride! i will definitely be keeping in contact and consider HOS for my next vehicle.
I'm not sure how to call the staff here "salesperson" is inadequate. My consultant Will had a detailed knowledge of the Honda line and of the financing process, and he spent hours showing us different vehicles and options. Honda of Seattle uses haggle-free pricing, and the staff are not paid by commission, so they win customers with reliable advice and low-pressure guidance. It also doesn't hurt that they sell Hondas the cars speak for themselves, with the help of a someone to show you the details. Ask for Will and tell him Thomas sent you.
Excellent service! I'm in the process of choosing a right car for me, and I didn't plan to buy anything yet, and I honestly communicated this upfront when I came in. Dawson was very very helpful, he answered all my questions, helped me to set a test drive for 2 used cars I was interested in, and did his best in explaining the features and differences between them. I was glad to meet a sales person, who is not pushing me to buy a car the same day, and at the same time who is very helpful. This is very appreciated. I would definitely come back to this dealership when I make a decision which model suits better for my needs.
Just bought my first car from Hui Li at Honda of Seattle and it was a great experience. Li worked with us to find a car that fit our needs at a really great price. Can't wait to buy another!
I found a used vehicle online that interested me, and on a whim I stopped in to look at what was available. I sincerely had no plan to make a purchase yesterday. Jonathan H. was staffing the entry desk, and he instantly became my guide. I told him what I was looking for, and he took me to the third floor where five cars were waiting side by side. Four of them were in my price range, and three of those were very close stylistically to what I needed.
I must have projected casualness, because Jonathan matched my laid back attitude. I don't respond well to pressure, and Jonathan gave me none. Instead he explained the business model, and offered suggestions that seemed rooted in getting me into a car that I liked, instead of getting me into any car and out-the-door. He seemed OK knowing that I had no intention of making a purchase on day one.
I took a fifteen minute test drive, then returned to talk about trade-in values with Mike C. When that went well, I decided to take another test drive that included a longer route along the interstate. Jonathan discussed the types of service I could expect, and the longer I drove, the more at ease I became with buying a car without days of deliberation and anxiety. To be clear, I wasn't changed by the experience. I will still be cautious in the future. I just think I found the right car, at a price I had imagined, and Honda of Seattle made it seem like a natural fit.
Very friendly, helpcul they give recommendations cor the lige of your car, they offer a car for you when they are cicing yours, tbey are close go my house.
Just bought a car at Honda of Seattle, and found it to be a great experience. Bridgette was my sales rep, and she was professional and helpful, yet friendly and personable. I had been searching for this model of car for a while and for the low milage and excellent condition this was by far the best value I had found. Thank you Bridgette and Honda of Seattle; I love my car! I highly recommend you!
I purchased a car from Honda of Seattle today. Dawson was the salesman who helped us. He did a great job. He explained their dealer specific processes to us and showed us the car. The car was pulled up and ready to go for us. Mike was also very kind and helpful introducing himself to us at an appropriate time. Both seemed ready and excited to help. I would definitely recommend this dealership to a friend.
Ramona and Mike were excellent! Ramona stayed late to help us out after a bad experience at a different dealership. She really went above and beyond when helping us, and we left the dealership with a new Honda Insight feeling great!
My dad and I came in to check out an Accord and we we're helped by James Arroyo. He was probably the best car sales man I've ever dealt with. We didn't end up purchasing the car but even after hours of taking his time, going to the mechanics with us and back and even introducing us to his manager to possibly negotiate the price down (even though it is a no haggle lot) he was still very professional, completely transparent and never had an attitude or pressured us to purchase. I highly recommend that if you plan on purchasing at Honda of Seattle ask for James Arroyo and you'll be in good hands.
This was my first time leasing a car, and the process was very easy. No hassle, no haggling, no manipulation. Matt helped me to find a car that fit my needs and my budget. I am very pleased.
Had a great experience leasing a new car. Gave me really clear options and there was no pressure. Matt Seguin was incredible and helped me with every question. I will be recommending him and this place to friends.
I wanted to sell my 2013 Honda Civic and didn t want to deal with the hassle of trying to find a trustworthy buyer and all the other headaches that come with selling a car. I also had a loan in the vehicle with Wells Fargo so I wasn t sure what the complications with that would entail. Matt Senguin at Honda made the process quick and painless and even gave me a decent price considering the high miles and market value. He was transparent with me and gave me a list of other options to sell the car if I chose to sell it privately. The fact that none of the sales staff is paid on commission takes the pressure off the sale, and allows the staff to work casually, honestly, and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to sell or buy a car. Expect fairness and integrity. They even made sure I got back safely despite the fact that I had arrived after the shuttle service ended. Matt drove me personally to where I needed to go. Thank you guys!
First I want to say my sales person Willie gets a 10/10 in customer service- no pressure and just a great person to buy a car from!!! if he stays in the business I will buy all future cars from him and already have referred my friends over.
I came here to just look at cars and left with the one I really wanted. After looking around at the certified pre-owned selection for a second I saw my car and was so blown away with how beautiful it was! It was the first car I test drove and the best car for me. I am a young woman and while I like the idea of one price so there is no haggling I feel something got lost in translation because my overall payment needed up being a LOT more than I though it would be- like by 10k more. So while I think this is a great shop and I got great service I would know what you re talking about when you go in so there is nothing that could be done to get you confused about the price in the end.
I worked with both the Honda and Toyota side of this dealership and was incredibly impressed with their work. John V., Kel S. and Matthew S. were professional, always patient and never pushy. They encouraged me to test drive the car multiple times, answered my many questions and were always respectful. I would definitely recommend this dealership!
Phone calls NEVER EVER picked up except for sales, obviously. And the prices for parts are always considerably more expensive than other Honda dealers in the area.
If you are trying to buy a certified vehicle, Honda dealers and Honda Financial Services are not good places to look at. Both Honda dealerships and Honda Financial Services lost my family and I as customers when Honda of Tacoma sold us a certified 2016 Honda Civic with only 35936 miles on it, but with a very critical transmission problem and an interest rate of 14.9%. The interest rate (14.9%) is insane, and the transmission stopped working three months after we purchased the vehicle. Within the same year, we had to replace the whole transmission, two front axles, battery, and a couple other small parts. It s been only 14 months since we purchased the vehicle, but the AC stopped working and is just blowing hot air.
After dozens of complaints and lawsuits, Honda extended it s warranty for all 2016-19 Honda Civics. American Honda is extending the warranty on the A/C condenser to 10 years from the original date of purchase with unlimited miles. This warranty only covers vehicles that have a defective A/C condenser from the factory. The A/C condenser was not manufactured to specification. As a result, tiny holes may develop in the condenser tube walls that allows the refrigerant to leak out. The warranty extension does not apply to any vehicle that has a leaking condenser due to foreign object damage." TSB 19-091
When I try to contact Honda of Seattle s service department to fix this issue, they told me to pay an approximate diagnosis fee of $250. Why are we paying diagnosis fees for the problem that was created by the manufacturer and while the company already extended its AC warranty for 10 years and unlimited miles? Diagnosing the problem which is created by the manufacturer should be covered by the extended warranty of the company because customers don t have to pay a penny for the mistake that the manufacturer made. If the AC problem is unrelated to the manufacturing problem, yes, we have to pay the diagnosis fee . Honda should fix this AC problem without charging any fee, or if technicians know how to fix it without diagnosing the AC, they can go ahead do that.
Besides their ridiculous diagnosis fees , Honda of Seattle s service department stated that it will take more than 3 months to fix this AC failure. Note that children can die due to the summer heat in a vehicle that doesn t have AC. Does Honda care about that? How are we going to use the vehicle without an AC during summer? What if this is the only vehicle that we have? Is Honda going to rent a vehicle for us until they fix the vehicle? The answer is; NO, THEY DO NOT CARE. You will definitely see their comment below, but the reality is they don t care about us as their customers but they only need money. It s not worth it to spend any penny on a company that doesn t care about its customers but just money. If you decide to buy a certified vehicle, be prepared to deal with all of these problems; poor customer service, stressful purchasing and maintenance processes, unnecessary and unfair fees, extremely high interest rate, and all other unpredictable manufacturing issues.
After trying every possible option, I took the vehicle to Honda of Seattle service department for AC diagnosis so that they can replace whatever is covered by the extended warranty. Here is another problem; they forgot to properly secure the part that they opened to diagnose the AC. It could potentially have hazards for passengers and damage to the vehicle. I honestly can t wait to get rid of this vehicle and will never drive a Honda afterwards. I took it to dealers to trade in the vehicle, but the offered me a very low price. What a huge lose created by a conglomerate to an ordinary person.
The manager replied something totally unrelated to the problem. I haven t commented or asked anything which can potentially tarnish the relationship between Honda dealerships and American Honda. In fact, your dealership and South Tacoma Honda destroyed mine and my family s relationship with American Honda. Try to address this type of issues in a professional manner.
First time at Honda of Seattle and I m very impressed. Everything was very clean. The waiting area had phone chargers, which I thought was awesome! Hiep was extremely helpful and very personable! I will definitely be returning for future service.
I called late on Friday night (like 7 pm) to get a Saturday appointment. Didn't think anyone would even pick up! No problem. Dropped car off early for appointment time on Saturday..... They got it done early and notified me. And when the shuttle would take too long to pick me up, they ordered a lyft driver. Totally impresed!! Way to exceed expectations Honda of Seattle!!!
Firstly, A+ job Keith. Totally satisfactory. Keep up the good work. Secondly, it's dumb that this Honda dealership has a system in place that requires employees to ask customers to give them a perfect rating. Just let people do their job and don't make them reliant on unreliable customers to remember to give them 5 stars on a public platform.
Very happy with my experience here. Richard Zaineb was extremely helpful with my very limited and ever changing budget. Patient, knowledgeable, and friendly!
Me and my husband recently bought a brand new 2019 Honda CRV from carlos at honda of Seattle. Carlos made the process smooth and easy. He was honest and didn't try and push ever extra thing under the sun. Thank you Carlos
I recently went in to look at a used vehicle. Devin S. contacted me and was very communicative and flexible. He was able to answer all the questions I had and I had a lot. I ended up buying a new CRV, which was a better decision for me. Everyone was patient with me while I looked and test drove and mulled over my options. I appreciate that the only stress I experienced was having to choose between two great vehicles. Thanks again Devin!
Nice work. Easy to get in and out and great to work with. Keith did a good job communicating timeline and making sure everything on my vehicle was taken care of. Friendly and easy to work with.
I had an amazing experience at Honda of Seattle. I ended up purchasing a 2013 Honda Civic and I love everything about the car. It's in as good shape as the dealship had disclosed and it was an absolutely amazing purchase. Steven Paredes, who helped me purchase the vehicle, was extremely thoughtful and helpful in providing me with the best options possible. I highly recommend his services and the services of the dealership!
I have nothing but great things to say about this dealership, especially our salesman Steven Paredes. My husband is a bit of a researcher , and Steven was able to answer all of his questions and concerns. Steven exceeded our expectations during this process and was amazing to work with. I highly recommend Steven at Honda of Seattle for all your automotive needs!!!
Service department is great! They were able to look at my vehicle on a moments notice instead of having to set up an appointment and resolved the issue by the next morning. Very friendly and helpful and made the service inconvenience free.
My issue was with the battery failing. I was a little concerned there would be questions over if the cause was me (i.e. having left the overhead light on a couple times) but they did not even question it. Not that I have a long track record with this dealership (I just got my car in early 2012) but I feel that I can trust them.
p.s. The buying experience was great also. Worked with Brad who was very helpful and no pressure.
One of our cars - a 2013 Honda Civic - unexpectedly bit the dust and we were forced to find a new car quickly. Being Honda people and having always serviced our car here, naturally this is the first place we looked. We enlisted the help of family in another state to help us find a car for our lives and budget because let s be real - life is busy and spending weeks as a one car family is not possible. We made an appointment with Jaycob with a few cars in mind (one really). He was great! He took us directly to the car in mind, made sure we knew our options and never once pushed us towards a higher end car. We ended up going with a slightly different version than we thought and are very happy with how quickly we were able to get the paperwork started. He s even meeting my wife at her place of work tomorrow afternoon to finished the sale so she can drive home in the new car. No rentals and loaners needed! Thank you Jaycob for making this often stressful process so much easier and efficient! We had a great experience!
Nice sales people got me the car I wanted with minimal hassel. They only offer one price at msrp, so if you want to negotiate it's not the place for you, but if you want one easy price it's good.
Got a certified crv there that is having a few problems. They should have picked up on them I think. Or at least been interested in making it right for me right away. No interest whatsoever. Like my vehicle but customer service is really lacking here. Just want your money
Nice and easy! Kyle P. and Keith took care of me and got my car serviced faster than the quoted time. Super friendly and nice to chat with. 10/10 would come here again.
Modern and Friendly. The ambience is urban/industrial hip, but in reality it's a bit sterile, noisy and cold. We love our sales person. Don't be afraid to be patient, they will come through with better terms.
Good pleasant people. Quick to get set-up for work. Had basic OIl and check-out of car and they finished in 1 and half when they promised - called me when done and easy in, easy out.
Great place to drop off car since all types of things to do in area while waiting (took trolley to Wooden Boat Museum)
Matt Seguin could not have been more helpful the entire time. He was always available to help answer any questions that I had and wasn t pushy about making any decisions. All he wanted was for me to make the most informed decision possible. Would highly recommend Honda of Seattle especially working with Matt!
I bought a car from here, worked with Gareth and he was super wonderful. He was very thorough - making sure I understood the details of everything and really helpful to make an awesome experience in overall. Again thanks Gareth.
Unprofessional staff. We were working with Sales Manager Danon Dugan and sales representative unfortunately I don t remember the name. Also buyer talked to Andrea Fredell who refused to help either. I lease a Acura which was towards to end, there was a buyer who was interested in buying the car I currently lease. As I don't actually own the vehicle the buy and sell should be done through Acura or Honda dealership. The buyer calls dealership makes an appointment, as almost always dealerships do a person over the phone says that no problem come down here we will get this done. So we went there, they were able to pull out my Acura financing account, to find out the actual payoff and all the other details. On that day they told us that can not complete the paperwork as car buyers inspection is needed which costs around $170 and takes around 4 hours to complete. So the buyer makes an appointment I go there leave the car for inspection, and come back after its done around 6PM Friday night. We did wait there for 30mins to an hour to get our turn for manager or finance manager I am not sure to get us. So he takes the car inspection and asks, "Any reason you guys came to Honda and not Acura?" Also continues that technically there is no difference. And then goes talks to his boss over the phone comes back and says that his boss said that they can not do that. And at that point I was on my other car as I was under impression that after the paperwork the buyer will drive Acura and I will drive back. When I said that what? I am not physically able to drive two cars at the same time. You knew that this was Acura from day one and said that you will do that. The answer was simply yeah I know, I can not override my boss. And offered to give me a gas. I said I don't need your gas, you burnt my day and a half, you knew all the details upfront, did not do your homework to know whether you are committed to complete that then don't make people come do dealership. Oh almost forgot, I leave 30 miles away from this dealership so they made me to drive there on the first day, then on the "deal day" I drove there, then buyer dropped me off to my place, then I drove back to dealership to do the paperwork, then as the boss did not let him to finalize the paperwork, I had to drive back to pick up my wife, come back take the car and drive back. So these guys literally made us to drive 200+miles. Think many times if you want to deal with these guys.
Had a good experience here. I wish it wasn't so far. Lynwood and Airport way are almost equidistant, but I had an appointment downtown. The woman working at the front desk, Minnie should definitely be a keeper. She for sure is the reason that I will go back to Honda of Seattle every time.
She handled the really irritating customers with grace and went out of her way to help me when I told her my boys had somehow lodged the key fob between the seat and the console, three WEEKS ago. If you're wondering, that means I haven't locked my car doors in three weeks. I have tried everything to get it out but Minnie went above and beyond and managed to dislodge it for me. I hope she is treated well because she is the reason for this repeat customer!
