I had been looking for a graduation gift for myself for a few months. I was waiting to find the right car for a while. Every dealership I went to in the past moths had been a total disaster. There was always a problem when I tried talking to a salesperson. They would always ignore me, and they would not take me serious. I can understand where they could be coming from though. Why would you try to sale a car to a random kid that probably doesn t even have the funds for a car? This issue happened in three different dealerships that I attended. This issue went away when I entered one dealership. Hennessy Ford was different because they were extremely attentive, and easy to work with.
First, when I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by the New Car Manager, Carlos Valencia. I informed him that I was looking to purchase a new car. He directed me to Kevin Swindall. Kevin was very nice, informative, and attentive. We talked about cars for a while, and then we went straight to business. He asked if I had any car in mind, or was I in the process of choosing one. I told him I was leaning towards purchasing a Mustang. He educated me about the car because I was clueless. We later went to look at their inventory. I already had a car in mind that stood out to me. I looked on their website the night before, and I found a few cars that interested me. Kevin Found the cars I had in mind, and he brought them over so I could see them. He also let me test drive them so I could get a feel of the car.
After I test drove the cars we went to his desk to see what deal we could obtain. We talked about the prices of the vehicles for a while. We had to talk about the packages that the car came in, and many other options. This was the worst part of the experience because we could not come with a good price. I knew that because of my young age it was going to be difficult to achieve a good deal. We negotiated for a few hours, and he finally came up with a good deal. This surprised me because every other dealer would say that the price would be too high. I finally agreed to a deal and I waited for all the paperwork to be ready. The paperwork was done around 9:30 P.M. When everything was done it was 10:30 and everyone was gone. This also surprised because the dealership closed at 8 P.M. The fact that Kevin stayed late to help me close a deal made me seem appreciated. They acted extremely friendly and they stayed with me until everything was complete. I was even offered coffee by Kevin. When the car was ready to go Kevin showed me everything about the car and all its features. I ended up leaving with a I brand new 2017 Ford Mustang a few months ago from Hennessy Ford.
In conclusion, my experience at Hennessy Ford was one of the best experience of my life. I was treated with respect, and the staff was very easy to work with. I felt appreciated by the staff unlike other dealerships that I had attended. Kevin was very attentive and very informative. I had a very calm shopping experience, and I was not pressured to purchase a vehicle. My fear was to be pressured to purchase a car that I wasn t looking for. I was very happy with the service at Hennessy Ford, therefore I highly recommend for anyone to come, and meet with Kevin Swindall.
