So annoyed. Paid $50 deposit and DISTINCTLY remember submitting my requests for my 3 options for my 2 night stay/plus massage or round of golf within ample time. I call to follow up on status because my first pick (Sedona) was drawing near and I needed to purchase flights, and they say they never received the actual vacation planning form. I wish I would have saved confirmation page because I KNOW I submitted it. Now the days I planned trip (which was not flexible because it coincided with my husband's business trip in Arizona) are blacked out and I won't have opportunity to take another trip before the certificate expires at the end of December. Ugh!

Complete joke and scam! They take your money and then the dates you pick for your vacation are never available. I've made NUMEROUS phone calls pleading for them to give me my deposit back. Each time they assure me I will get a check in the mail and it never comes.
Before i paid my deposit i confirmed that i would be able to book at my desired location. When it was close to my vacation date i called to see why i haven't received my confirmation. They lied and said that they have been trying to contact me for 3 months to let me know that their was a problem with the dates i selected. So i went forward with trying to change my dates. I was then wrongfully informed that i couldn't book at the desired location. I kept trying to point out the fact that how was that even possible when i was booked there previously and the only issue was the date. The CSR was very rude to me and stated since i couldn't understand simple things that she is telling me that they would just refund me. I told them fine i would actually like my refund since i no longer want to do business with them. This was in july 2019 it is now 12/1/19 and i still haven't received my refund. I have called on 4 different occasions to check on my refund with no positive results. I would highly recommend avoiding doing business with this company by any means. I really feel like i was scammed.
SERIOUSLY!!! This company never has any dates available,I requested a refund in April. They claim they sent it in June 2019 but nothing ever came. In June, they stated another check would be mailed, to ate ( 09092019), I have not received that payment. I have held today over 1 hour and didnt get an answer, tried to do chat-that didnt work. I Do Not recommend anyone use this company even if it is the last thing left on the face of this earth. They come up by ripping clients off. Please listen and pay attention to all the reviews. I have obtained legal counsel to start a lawsuit against them. It seems I am not the only one this company is screwing over. Headed to the BBB site as well as file an Attorney general case against them.
Do not give them any money! We have tried to book our trip 3 different times and they can never find dates for us to go. On top of that trying to get a refund will take 4-6 weeks ! All this was for a trip we got through Rainbow!!
I would give ZERO stars if that was an option. This company is a complete scam. They require you to send in some much paperwork and documentation only to tell you that you submitted something incorrectly and they can no longer honor your offer. We sent it $101.25 worth of money orders for our airfare tickets and, shocker, something was wrong with what we submitted and they said they would not honor our offer, which is completely ridiculous because we submitted everything correctly. Regardless, if you are not honoring our offer, you need to refund our money. This company should be shut down immediately and I suggest no one initiate any kind of business with them.
Grand Incentives is a SCAM! Stay far far away! Our getaway was at a terrible hotel, so many unavailable dates that our summer getaway turned into a winter outing and my refundable deposit never got refunded!!!!!
Very unprofessional, and rude staff! On multiple occasions. One man in particular is very rude, and condescending. I have been waiting 6+ weeks to receive a refund that no one can give answers as to where it is. Please, please, please do not book with this company. It is a huge scam. Currently in the process of contacting a lawyer to see how to go about suing this company. Of course you are never able to make contact with a manager.
Thus far, my experience has been the same as many others. I received a 2 nights/3 days offer last spring (2014) but was able to increase it to a whole week for an additional $49. I sent in a completed form on June 18th for a week's vacation in November, but never heard from them, so I presumed there was no availability for my chosen weeks. I called in early December, and the person I spoke to told me they had never received my application, even though I had sent it to the Sarasota address. I asked for another form and she promised to send it to me. It is now Feb 17th and still no form. I tried to contact them using their contact page, but when you press the send button (or whatever it is called), nothing happens, and when you hover over it, there is no tiny hand that indicated a link - obviously you are not meant to contact them by this means. However, I did call the customer service number in the brochure, and got through to a nice person called Maria right away. I told her my tale and mentioned that my ticket was due to expire on Feb 28, so she extended it until July 31 and promised to send me a new form asap. She also asked me for the name of the person I had spoken to in December but I didn't know it, and she did apologise for the poor service. Currently, I am still optimistic, and still hope for that week's hotel stay before the end of July!
SCAM SCAM SCAM THIS COMPANY WORKS WITH HOLIDAY TRAVEL OF AMERICA WITCH IS CLOSED NOW THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT OWNER YOUR TICKET AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR THE REFUND THEY WILL TELL YOU GOOD LUCK JUST LIKE THAT!!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT DONT TRUST THEM PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I HAD THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE
In this day of technology advancements, all business transactions, requests, and trip planning should be done online via a secure portal; not mailing. There have been what seems to be bogus accounts giving ratings and others that seem to be dissatisfied with the overall experience. As a Ambit customer, I have accumulated nearly 400K of points and have hesitated to use them because of the poor documented reviews and BBB. The product(s) and services should always be 3.5 rating or higher. This does not seem to be the case currently. The process GI currently uses is antiquated and puts the client in a defensive position. I have little confidence that by sending a check $ that I will get what would be 4-5 star service. We travel a lot so when GI offers better customer service and trip support options online, then we will start utilizing their services.
I was given a cruise by a local Tucson Company, and was to contact Grand Incentives. I called them, and had to send them $29. They sent me a "packet" to schedule my cruise, but they haven't returned my call since I sent my money in almost 2 months ago. The Tucson Company that gave me the cruise is refunding my money, so they are okay, but Grand Incentives is a SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!!!!!!!
watch out. I got free 2 night stay certificate which was given at golf tournament. I paid for $50 dollar refundable deposit by ACH. I tied to use as it is free and only pay taxes range from $24-36 .But when I contacted them , they offered me $115~ 150 for taxes and booking fee. It does not make sense and it is not stated in the contract. and also you can book directly to hotel below the prices. So I asked for refund of my deposit and waiting for it. I was told that refund processing takes 6-8 weeks . Let me see, if not I'd better file a claim through BBB. Don't get fooled !.
I have used Grand Incentives and their premium certificates for years. The feedback has been wonderful. I even gave one to my mother and her husband, that used it for a week in Williamsburg Virginia. It was one of the best weeks of their life! I continue to get thanks from my customers and they look forward to my next promotion that I will use the certificates with again. Thank you for such a great experience.
We received these free trip and i was overwhelmed a little and worried. Needless to say my dates were fine and the hotel was awesome! Will be trading in my 2 nights this year for a 7 day vacation!
The worst experience ever.I live in Va and picked the cruise option with the expectations of leaving out of Norfolk port. After submitting my request, I got a reply stating I can only leave out of Florida or Texas ports. When I denied that option, they basically told me I was SOL,because I couldn't resubmit for a different option(Although, it clearly says you can cancel within 30 days with no penalties).I was told the trip would be free prior to submitting my request and after submitting it,they wanted me to pay for my own cruise.DONT waste you time with these people.
These SOBs just keep calling & Can Not take "NO" for an answer. I just called Corporate in Florida, & threatened a Lawsuit (and I was very serious about it). The customer service lady said she would put my phone number on their "Do Not Call" List. She also said if they call back within the next few days, to order them to "Cease & Desist" with the phone call harrassment.
Rude ass dude answered my phone call. He gave me attitude the second I said hello. I am the nicest and most calmest person ever. I never go off on employers because i was raised better than that, but today I just had to. This dude would rudely interrupt me to tell me something I heard him say the past 30000 times
I have tried since April to book the vacation from the pamphlet that I received. 3 months later, I am still being told that the dates are unavailable. How about telling me which days the location is available for? I am sick of playing a guessing game. I gave them $50 that is supposed to be refunded once I get the reservation settled. I suppose that is how they make their money -- they receive the $50 and claim to give it back when it is approved, and most vacations are never approved. HA! What a joke. I want my money back, and the time I wasted back. Customer service is decent, considering I've only talked to someone through one email each, and every time I try to submit ANOTHER request for the vacation times, I receive an error message. I am tired of playing games with a company that obviously doesn't care.
Just by reading this ... if this is what I Ana about to get into... and this company does not offer what they advertise... I like many others will not even dar to use this.
The reason for the score is due to having our hotel reservations were cancelled the morning of our arrival on 06/28/2017 and we found out at the desk at check-in around 1pm that afternoon. The hotel personnel provided proof of our cancellation, which came via email on 06/25/2017. After speaking with Take 3 rep named Ellen, who was scrambling to find us accommodation, and two of her superiors, who were combative, condescending and very unhelpful, we were placed in a hotel with a lower star rating, further away from the attractions and was under renovations. We didn't rent a car and based our entire vacation from where we're going to stay. Essentially, everything was in walking distance. We paid for an upgrade of $158, but was offered a $80 refund after much back and forth. The refund was never received and no other compensation for negatively impacting our anniversary and trip! We have a cruise with them but will forego that, due to the headache of this single trip.
Very unprofessional! Do not waste your time they promise you free flights and get nothing! I did everything on my end I was supossed to do. Paid the $150, then I had to physically mail them passports/IDs WHICH I DID THE NEXT DAY! I finally call and they told me they just received my paperwork end of December so they CANCELLED MY TRIP and refunded me my money WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED! I find it really hard to believe they didn t receive my paper work back until almost 30 days after I sent it out and they don t even bother calling anyone! I will be telling EVERYONE ABOUT THIS! Do not do it! Bait and switch! FYI I did my presentation in Puerto Vallarta.
Relax guys i just used this company and have zero complaints. It does take a good 8 weeks to receive your deposit. So don't even look for it for 2 months. The trip went flawless, hotel on Myrtle Beach clean & friendly. Highly recommend, usually you don't need any upgrades. The places are THAT GOOD. :)
I just read all these reviews and the 5 star reviewers are all fictional profileS ! Amanda hart , Brendin Keeling , Thomas Meyers lol . Obviously something is wrong I am unable to use the website to book a trip it's 2016 ! Lol nice try but as far as it goes . Contact me personally please! Lol I would like to use my vouchers for plane tickets any destination any time any length bet you I never get off the ground hahaha
I booked a 9 Day Cruise through Grand Incentives in 2014 for myself and my 2 boys. By booking through Grand Incentives I honestly saved $1,200 We had a great time. Normally we go on a family cruise every 5 years and we delayed it and planned on booking through GI for 2020 however with the worldly situations we are unable to book
Definitely a joke and a scam!! I called to cancel which they never did. So i stopped payment on my check. The sent me to collections. I think its time to open up a big lawsuit on everyones behalf since they cant honor there cancellation request and give the run around....
I sent in my paperwork 5 months before I go on my trip. I found out through the website that it was cancelled. No email no phone call just cancelled. When they told me in early August that the date I was asking for was still available they would not book it. I was told that I had to wait 30 days before I go on my trip. Now they are saying all of Nov was filled and no availability till after the 30th. One person even told me I should have told them to book it. I asked 3 times to do so they all said no that I had to wait. The manager was unhelpful and I usually do not get angry but they did not want help me with anything. This company does not do what they promise to do.
(3weeks ago Nov 19)I RATE THIS COMPANY A 0, but unfortunately they don't have that option. I wish I would have read all these reviews before i got involved with them. I have been waiting on my refund for 2 months now. Within the 2 months and 5 phone calls of run around/excuses/lies I still haven't gotten any further from the first day I called but I should have known something was up when they told me the first time I called to cancel that it would be mailed out at the end of month (4 weeks). Furthermore, 2 of 5 people I talked to didn't put notes in. It goes on and on. Lastly, if anyone asks I have nothing good to say about this company, NOTHING AT ALL. (UPDATED: Dec 13) I RECEIVED my refund yesterday. How I did it you ask? 3 words BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!!! 3 days after I reported them online, Grand Incentive called me to tell me check was sent and I got it I 4 days.
After I didn't receive my getaway, I asked for a refund and it took several phone calls and a lot of wasted time to get my money back. Certificate # 3071861
Probably one of the worst experiences I've had with any business enterprise. The customer service was horrific! I submitted my money order and all the required paperwork in August, and I didn't hear back from the company until February. During the period, I called several times to find out why I hadn't heard back, and I kept receiving the same answer "we will be sending you a confirmation letter shortly". However, the customer service rep refused to confirm over the phone which date was selected for my upcoming vacation. For all I know, it's probably a SCAM as so many other reviews have pointed out, and I'm likely out my $200 in processing fees. I will NEVER do this EVER again.
i agree with all other reviews rip off run run ....You can book your own travel cheaper and stay where you want to stay better locations /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Read the fine print and T&C because they will lie directly to you via the phone. Prior to using the service, I called multiple times for clarification on any specific reimbursement clauses and they said nothing but you will get money back quickly. Comes back that only got $50 when I had been told via phone I would most likely get $500. Definitely false advertising.
I probably should ve read the reviews before giving my $50 from a rainbow vacuum presentation like so many of these reviews but glad I didn t, for once! I too tried to book my trip online and it was rejected - dates unavailable. I can t say this will happen every time for every person but I called the phone number to see what dates were available, to avoid the back and forth, as it s near impossible to figure out dates that work for both me and my husband to take off. Cynthia P. (customer service rep) was able to work with me and figure out dates that would work and the trip was booked instantly over the phone. I m so grateful for amazing customer service from her! She was understanding, personable and patient with me. Thank you!
I gave them 300 dlls in July 11th for a trip reservation and still waiting for my trip voucher. This company is a scam, PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY. Report it to the Better Business Bureau.
I have used various incentive companies and I have found none better than Grand Incentives. The Customer Support group has done a wonderful job working with both me and my clients and I could not be happier with the results.
This company does not follow its own terms and conditions, and when speaking to the supervisor, it s more like only listening to him scowl at you as if you re a child. Lied to me several times about the terms and conditions and when asked to point out the fine print, the supervisor is unable to do so.
After applying my reward certificate, my quoted out of pocket cost was more than the stat itself, according to the resorts official website. I would be able to play for my entire cost plus more if I were to book the resort myself. Overcharged and a complete scam.
One of the 5 stars review is from an employee, Cynthia Post. As for the rest of them, they re more than likely fabricated by other employees.
Not worth the time. They are one star for a reason. Good luck to anyone that does there 2 hour time share tour that turned into 4 hours. You can't contact anyone personally either. You have to mail everything in and use checks.
It's a total SCAM and they don't have anything of what anyone would call customer service. Furthermore, they take you deposit and invest it and do not give it back to you for 2 years. DON'T DO IT!
Horrible experience, this is a SCAM! I attended a timeshare presentation and did not receive the acknowledgement letter afterwards. I tried calling the 844 number printed on the brochure to notify them and the number was not even in service! I then had to research an alternative number and was finally able to speak to a representative, after a 50 minute hold time, regarding the letter. A month later I receive a letter in the mail stating the voucher was voided. I called to follow up, after 45 minutes of being on hold, I was told it was automatically voided and they had no documentation of me calling a month prior and that nothing could be done. What a waste of time! At least offer a solution to rectify the issue instead of telling me, Sorry I have no documentation you called and the computer automatically voids applications received past the cut off . Please if you are reading this, never make the same mistake and avoid this company at all costs! I do not even want to imagine what would happen if you actually book a vacation through this company, not even worth it if it is free. STAY AWAY!
I should ve known better than to be tricked by these people. It s definitely not a good deal if any of you are thinking of getting this. Josh Santana, who I talked to, was rude and ignorant and when I asked to file a complaint, I received an email conversation he started where he was disrespecting me. I got scammed into getting this package on a birthday trip and I m never doing it again! DONT DO IT!!!
This company is horrible. We were promised a vacation and they tried to make us jump through hoops and pick 3 different sets of dates at different locations 30 days or more apart. We did this TWICE and both times I have to call to check on the status just to be told they never received my request. They are just trying to extend it long enough for my certificate to expire! Total scam!! DO NOT USE this company!!
I used one of their vouchers to get a trip to Las Vegas. Everything seemed well enough as I got the hotel I wanted with the room type I wanted. A couple weeks before my trip I got an email asking to confirm, which I did, even sending an email. When I arrived at the Excalibur in April 2019 the hotel told me that Grand Incentives had canceled my reservation. I received no notice or contact of any kind. GI had simply canceled my reservation without telling me even though I confirmed my reservation (I have the digital footprint to prove it). I tried contacting GI to fix the issue but they never answer their phone or reply to their emails. I even asked for a refund but no surprise, it is nothing but a black hole. Either I wait on hold for hours, or send an email that is never answered. It is difficult enough being in different time zones, but now I feel I am flat out being ignored. When I became a travel agent, GI was recommended to me as a way to reward client referrals. But now I need to suggest to all travel agents and anyone else seeking to reward vacations to not use these crooks. The good thing is that they took $198 from me, not from a client I could have referred to them; that would have been so much worse for me. So, an expensive lesson for me to avoid upset clients... a long term benefit. Still, stay away from these cons.
Went on time share tour. Promised 2 round trip flights and hotel stay of 7 days. 2 months later we have received nothing, zero replies from our emails.... looks like Grand Incentive has no problems taking but issues giving what they promise..
Do not buy any packages because if you fail to use they want you to extend the packages. I wish I had never gotten involved with this company. They wanted me to extend packages for $4500.00
Grand Incentives is clearly oriented to processes that mislead people using their services in order to maximize their income. Do not under any circumstances use this company if you have a choice. You can get better deals just going on trusted, reliable websites that cover the same services.
I had made arrangements with a similar agency located in California for a discounted cruise resulting from a time share promotion. I paid in advance and months later I called to find out the status of my pending cruise. The phone was answered by this agency who informed me that they were taking the calls but were not affiliated with that other agency, and didn't know anything about the money I paid, but would be willing to help me with another cruise which I would have to pay for. Apparently I got scammed. What makes this agency think I would want to do business with them. Don't trust this agency!
I just sent my request in for my free 3 day/2 night getaway through Ambit Energy. I am very worried reading all these reviews as I just paid the $50 dollar deposit fee for the hotel. I scheduled it for spring break which is a little over 45 days, but now I am scared this is a scam. Is there anybody who has had a good experience with Grand Incentives? I need some reassurance, because now I am thinking about withdrawing all my money from my bank before the deposit is actually taken out.
The gentleman i talked to on the phone had poor customer services skills. He would not let me talk and kept talking over me. He sounded very angry. I tryed to book my trip and was on hold for greater than 20 minutes at a time. I am reading the other reviews were they did not get their refund back. They told me the refund will take 4 to 6 weeks. Thats a long time. I hope I get my refund back. 8/20/2018.
VERY VERY DISGUSTED IN THIS COMPANY!! I just called to find out where my refund is I requested and A VERY RUDE EMPLOYEE TOLD ME I didn t know how to count and was VERY rude. I asked for his name and he hung up on me! DO NOT GIVE THEM A DIME.i will be going to the BBB next. We will get this handled.
Unfulfilled and liars !!! I canceled a trip and my money was never returned. I called repeatedly for four months and they said they had sent a check but it never came. I notified them that I had not received the check, and then they no longer answered. So I lost my money
DO NOT GIVE THEM A DIME If I could give them no starts I would. We won a 2 day 3 night hotel stay and it way great timing. We submitting our travel dates and 50.00 deposit in February and every time we called to check on the status we were told any day we would receive correspondence and that the locations we selected had several options and there is no reason we should not get a hotel. Fast forward to a few days ago nearly 7 months after we first submitted our dates, locations and deposit we were told there was no availability for any of the locations. This was about 30 days before our trip, we were told to resubmit new locations and to give them 45 days notice. Needless to say we asked for a refund of our deposit. I called to verify the timeframe because the agent told me it would be 2-4 weeks and online the account said 8-10 weeks. When I spoke with an agent she stated they were processing them with a 2-3 timeframe. I told her that I was very frustrated with the situation and the agent said nothing. I then said I wish they had let us know during the 7 months that we were waiting for a response that one of the locations was only available sunday-thursday so that we could have submitted another location. She stated well you had 2 others that were submitted. I told her that if we had submitted another location that was eligible for our dates that maybe we would be able to use the voucher. She went silent, I said well I guess I don't think there's anything else I can say about it and she then just hung up. I was so disappointed because now we have to pays hundreds of dollars we did not budget for. I repeat DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY, SUCH A HUGE DISSAPPOINTMENT.
They told me over the phone that there would be many options for me to choose from as far as what hotel we would stay at, then at a different time they told me they book through thousands of hotels and would give me the option to pick any of them. I emailed them to confirm the booking, haven't heard back for several days, so called them again.
They are saying "I don't know why they told you that. We pick your destination; you don't pick your hotel. Everyone in this office knows that. It's based on availability." Well of course it's based on availability! I'm certain there will be more than one available hotel at the destination I have chosen. Oh, and it might be 4 months before I actually get booking confirmation; one month before we leave. Unless they back out at the last minute and leave us stranded. That's 1 month before we leave.
Plus, it's impossible to tell what company you are actually dealing with. Is it "Take 2", or "Grand Incentives", or the vacation company we got a sales pitch from, or whatever promotions company cold-called us in the first place offering the free vacation?
Biggest problem with these companies is that employees have no accountability, so they lie whenever it's convenient, and then neither they nor the company has to answer for what they have promised. So far, we've been given the runaround and been told different things several times. We'll see how it goes.
Just wanted to add to the pile. We were going to use this trip as our honeymoon. 30 days before they told me our dates selected were not available. I was already worried that our late planned flight was going to wipe out any cost savings from the trip. I felt this was a scam from the beginning and I now got my wife to realize it is also. How much more time do I waste to get my money back? I think they count on people like me that just can't waste anymore time. I will give them negative publicity and tell everyone NOT to get scammed.
I've been waiting on a refund for 12 weeks. I called in two weeks ago and was told my refund would be sent out the following Tuesday. Here it is two weeks later and the tried to tell me it was sent out on the 14th. There should be laws against companies like this.
RUDE! LIARS. NEVER GOT MY VACATION PLANNING FORM FOR MY GETAWAY. SENT MY CERTIFICATE IN 2 MONTHS AGO CALLED AND TOLD THE MAN I DIDN'T RECEIVE AN EMAIL YET. HE READ MY EMAIL TO ME TO MAKE SURE IT WAS THE RIGHT ONE. SO HE SAID HE'LL SEND ITAGAIN SO I ASKED HIM CAN I GIVE MY OTHER EMAIL. HIS WORDS: WELL WE DON'T USUALLY EXCEPT 2 EMAILS BUT ILL GO AHEAD AND TAKE IT AND I SHOULD RECEIVE THE EMAIL WITHIN 5-10MIN. STILL NO EMAIL. P.S THIS WAS MONDAY APRIL 1ST 2019
When I first reviewed this company I gave them a one. After constantly following up, I was connected to a worker who helped me book my trip, the accommodations were good and I received my deposit refund back. Now they get 2 stars. No one should have to constantly follow up like its a second job.
I wish I could give it no stars. I was sold into a vacation package with an incentive of $100 for a trip for 2 (included airfare and hotel - I had to pay the taxes for them) to any International resort. The terms and conditions are very specific. You choose 3 places that you would like to go and they have to be 30 days apart and can only leave on Monday or Tuesday. That makes it impossible to do trips 30 days apart, so you have to pick them 5 weeks apart. I contacted the company who made it very clear they would reject and void any request less then 30 days or not leaving on Monday or Tuesday. To me, it appeared they were looking for any excuse to reject and void your trip. So I was careful. I checked 3 places, made them 5 weeks apart. When the time came, oops - we couldn't find anything. Pick 3 more places. I picked 3 places 5 weeks apart. Several months later - oops, we couldn't find anything again. Pick 3 more places. Again I picked 3 places 5 weeks apart. Several months went by. Again, oops, we couldn't find anything. Pick 3 more places. I'm angry but still pick 3 more places. a letter came days later saying it was over 1 year so they had voided my requests and would return my $100. About 10 days later I got a check for my $100 back. Here's what I'm thinking. They are being paid by these travel and resort companies to offer a ridicules offer on a trip to get you to buy their vacation package and this company is just a front to think you are getting a sweet vacation for $50 each. They are looking for any reason to void your request and if that doesn't work, after 1 year it automatically gets voided. Technically, it is not a scam but it certainly is NOT what they make you think it is. I will never fall for this bait again. No company can give you a vacation that costs hundreds or thousands of dollars for $50 and survive. Guess where they are getting their money? Avoid at all costs or be disappointed later on.
Such a scam, figured it was too good to be true. Just feeding B.S. to customers. Scammed out of hard earned money when all they need to do is call and make up some stories.
AVOID AT ALL COST! If I could give them ZERO stars I would! I had to get the Better Business Bureau Florida involved to get my rebates. This is the biggest bait and switch ever! I will try to keep this from being too long. I booked two stays with them using the Ambit Travel Rewards points. Their customer service was TERRIBLE so maybe that is why Ambit discontinued the program. Here are my issues.
1. They told me I couldn t do the trips solo. So I sat on the vouchers. Then I finally got someone who said I could go solo, but by that time the expiration date was nearing so I had to pay $25 to extend one voucher and $50 to extend the other.
2. Every resort they offered me was an upcharge. They supposedly didn t have any of the free resorts available.
3. The 4 night stay in Puerto Vallarta was supposed to be $25,000 points. I paid an additional $80.16. $20 for travel insurance which was a joke because it was only trip insurance and didn t include medical. Then $60.16 in tax, so much for a free trip.
4. The 2 night Golf and Spa stay was supposed to be $25,000 points. I paid an additional $154.82. I m not sure what portion of this they charged me for their useless travel insurance, but the resort was listed on Expedia for $90 a night the two nights I stayed so it seems to me that I paid for this trip. There was nothing really free about it. On top of that when I checked into the resort I was told that there was nothing on my reservation about a free round of golf or free spa treatment.
5. I submitted all the information for my rebates on the day of checkout for each trip one in June 2019 and one in July 2019. I had to call them several times and deal with extremely long wait times to be told that my refunds were processing. In October 2019 I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and magically they was able to have my checks mailed to me in a week!
Find another way to use your points if you are in a rewards program that deals with this company because the hassle that comes with dealing with their poor customer service is not worth it! I will end this review again by saying AVOID AT ALL COST!
They said I'd get a call within a week of confirmation of my vacation that we paid for and earned period. They never called. Three and a half weeks later I have called multiple times and no phone call back. Absolutely ridiculous customer service or I should say the lack thereof.
This company is a scam. They never contacted me in any way. I had to call them and they tell me that my dates were not available. Tried another date and CSR stated that depending on which hotel I choose I would have to pay between$179 to $200 for hotel taxes and booking fee. I told them that I would like to get a refund. CSR said I would get in 10-12 days; it's been almost a month and still no refund. Grand Incentives doesn't deserve the one star rating from me but that's the lowest rating option I have.
PLEASE PLEASE DO NO SEND THIS COMPANY MONEY. I have been trying to get my refund since December, they lied and said my refund was issued at the beginning of January (should have been completed in December) then said "we have to make sure checks where not cashed". I was then told checks where not cashed and they would be sending out another check. Check still have not been sent and are now delayed till Monday. Rich Greenlish, and Jason Garrett were very condescending when speaking to me, and well as not answering my questions when I asked them, for instance, "can I receive a tracking number on the next checks" that go out.
DO NOT WORK HERE! My brother worked for Grand Incentives for a few weeks and found a better paying job so they REFUSE to give him his paycheck. They are scammers!
