01/23/21 - Had the clog crusher special completed (Job #81367916). Eric H came out to Ross Township. Very nice personality. Greeted me, got to the heart of the issue. Went over short and long term solutions. Then got right to work. He knew exactly what to do, got the job done, and was gone so that I could get back to enjoying life. Thanks Eric H! Will be looking for you again if/when I ever need services from Gillece.

I am Cindy's husband. I had a major toilet clog problem today on a 40 year old toilet. Owen came out, unclogged it, didn't charge for the service call and installed a new American Standard toilet. Honest, professional, gave me good advice, did the job quickly and cleaned up afterward. Excellent job! Will recommend Gillece from now on to others.

Over priced, deceptive business practices and rude. Never ever call these people.

Had an issue with a three-way dimmer switch (the builders messed up the wiring)... I called Gillece in the morning, they came in the afternoon on time and fixed it within an hour. Very professional and efficient. Would definitely consider them again for any electrical issues.

Called to get same day service and after they repeatedly called me with delays, called at 8:30 p.m. to cancel and reschedule. I told them not to bother. You wasted an entire day I could have called someone else.

Called them on a Saturday and received a quick respone. Ron Herrera was very professional and did a thorough assessment of the problem . They will be installing a new furnace and A/c this coming week.

I am new to the area and everyone told me to avoid gillece. but I got a groupon anyway and scheduled a furnace check. the first time they were a no show, the second time they were a no show, the third time they were a now show...always saying after I called in the afternoon that they were too busy with gold priority customers. Well thats great, I took 3 days off work to use a $40 groupon and never even got it done. needless to say I will never use Gillece for any service work in the future.

Loren was on time, explained all the options and then did the work in an efficient manner. Highly recommend.

Rip off. They tried to charge me 6k to redo some work and install a water heater. Same work was done for under 1000. They ended up lying to my family member about many things. Lol 0 stars.

I ve used Gillece twice before and had good experiences both time so I had a electrical project that I wanted to use them again. The project was to install for lights in my drop ceiling which I had already purchased the lights wire and all the materials needed to do the project so this was to be labor only. I explained all of this to the office and they sent a technician to my home. The technician told me it would take about two hours and he was going to cut me a break on the price which was $3200. Keep in mind, I ve purchased All of the materials in advance. That comes to $1600 an hour labor. They are out of their mind! That is taking Advantage and because of this I will never use them again

I just called today with an emergency service call at 3:16 pm and was told I would be put on the list for service today. I called back at 4:57 pm and was told my emergency would have to wait until 8:00 am Monday morning. So much for having 24/7 service. I called back and canceled the 8:00 am service call for tomorrow because that will nor help me today.

Our furnace fan stopped working which in turn stopped the AC from working. I called Gillece who despatched a Technician and a Field Rep. They checked the fan capacitor to find it needed replaced. However Gillece refused to change the capacitor or carry out the repair on the furnace fan. Instead they opened up the ducting to inspect the heat exchanger. They informed me that the heat exchanger was cracked and was a carbon monoxide risk. The Gillette technician disabled the wiring on the furnace so it could not be used. NO CARBON MONOXIDE tests were carried out by Gillece. The Gillette Field Rep then proceeded to give me a presentation on new furnace deals they were running and could be installed today. If purchased today it would cost $9,900. This is when I called Staab & Sons on a neighbors recommendation. A technician was despatched within the hour. The Staab technician confirmed the fan capacitor was not showing any power and needed replaced. The capacitor was changed which powered the furnace fan.. Both the fan and AC are now working fine with no issues. Staab inspected the heat exchanger and could not find any defects/cracks. As a precaution the Staab technician also carried out a number of carbon monoxide tests, all of which read ZERO. My total bill was $162 and the AC is now working in the house. We know our furnace is old and will need replacing for a more energy efficient furnace in the near future, however we did not want to be forced into purchasing a furnace immediately. For a reference Staab quoted a price 1/3 of the Gillette price. Thank you Staab and the Technician Rick for your honesty and excellent service. As for Gillece I will never use them again and advise anyone thinking about using their service to think twice, they are the most dishonest contractors I have come across.

If they treated customer's houses and utilities as they treat their own house and their own utilities then they may be more accommodating and empathetic to the needs of people who live in the houses that they service. This company has good potential and could be polished but at the moment is dull

He runs the train with his mouth full, speaks some technical terms that ordinary people do not understand, and also charges a door-to-door fee. People who don't need it should try not to bark.

Hal offered exceptional service, showed up half hour early and was very efficient. Overall 5 stars for great service and professionalism.

Ron was a super nice guy, very helpful and informative. He took the time to explain of the new parts I had to purchase and gave me some tips on general maintenance of my air system. I would recommend this service.

Booked Gillece to get my upstairs shower unclogged. Set apt up for between 8-12 today. They called last night and said they would be there today from 7-8 to unclog a toilet which screwed things up for my father who had to meet them. Then they quoted $450! to run a snake from kitchen to unclog drain. That's completely ridiculous and apulsive. I will never use their services or recommend them to anyone. Never dealt with such unprofessionalism after I explained all the issues I had before about getting a diff company just to show up for a quote.

Very courteous office staff, fast service. Super friendly service technician, he explained the complete process including various options including costs upfront (no surprises). Performed service expediently and very professionally. Great business very professional and I highly recommend.

The job was completed in a timely fashion. Dylan was very professional, efficient, and worked with me to ensure that I got the work that I needed. He was very helpful during the consultation by explaining everything, showing me what the issue was, and giving me more than one option for repairs. I will definitely use them and request Dylan again

Extremely poor service, ill informed, but earnest technician and downright unprofessional supervisor. I needed help with installing an attic vent fan. The technician that arrived explained that as part of their standard procedures, he had to examine all electrical outlets in the house and that he could examine my request only after he had completed the inspection. After 45 minutes of this inspection, he pointed out that we needed 2 GFCI outlets and proceeded to present me with 3 plans to fortify the the electrical system the house. When I explained that all we needed help was to put up the attic vent fan (which we had) through the opening, they presented us with an estimate of over $1,000. The technician was a nice guy and genuinely seemed interested in helping, but would go back to his truck and come up with these unreasonable estimates from his supervisor. Finally I said "just show me how to take the attic vent fan motor and fan through the tri-mount." He want back to the van and said that he spoke to his supervisor and that he could do it for $258. I felt obliged to pay him for his time. I think they were not upfront and unreasonable in their approach. The technician seemed to be a genuinely well meaning person, but the entire engagement left me dissatisfied. They did not address the problem and tried to sell me expensive services which were not needed.

Highly recommended based on experience with competitors. Chris H came out on the day that I called for a pre-season AC check. Chris ended up arriving an hour earlier than expected, was professional and friendly, explained everything he was doing, and very informative about the condition of my HVAC. He provided a detailed list of recommended services and prices for each, and even gave some recommendations for how I could prolong the life of my AC unit on my own. He also provided information about their Service Partner Program and explained how it could save money on future repairs, while also not making me feel pressured into purchasing it. Keep up the good work!

Gillece is the worst company for HVAC in Pittsburgh. I got a coupon for a $50 A.C. Tuneup and the guy came in to tell us that we needed a new water heater, furnace and A.C.. And then when we asked him for the tuneup we paid for he said he would schedule a tech that never showed or came. He was just an evaluator. He also put stickers over all of our regular guys contact information without telling us!

Use Restano's- trustworthy and won't cover up prior service provider's information or say you need new everything and give you an attitude. I'm going to post this on to all Gillece locations in Pittsburgh so everyone knows not to go with them- even if you get a coupon that sounds like a good deal - it's just a scam to try and get you to spend way more than necessary.

Liars. My pipe coming into my house was frozen solid, After only 5 mins of a survey they told me they would have to replace my entire water line coming into my house. The estimate was about 17k. I told them no thanks and called an actual plumbing company. It only cost me $400 and they fixed it in about an hour. I would never call them again and never recommend them. Just to clarify this Happend a while again. I just saw a commercial for them and wanted to let ppl know how terrible they are.

My experience w/ Gillece was excellent. My tech Tako, was very polite & professional. He is a great communicator & explains things thoroughly. I highly recommend him & Gillece, & will use them again.

The prices are a little high, but the technician, Ron H., was extremely friendly, very informative, very knowledgeable, and provided me with the proper information that I will need to share with my wife to make a smart decision.

They deliver prompt service and are easy to talk to by phone. However, this company charged me an additional significant amount of money to fix the problem I first called about. Bad business, folks!

Had Steve Thompson over for my sewer back up and will be having him and his back to dig up a sec of my line that has shifted and has a belly which is not letting the sewage drain.i had gillece here yrs ago to dig a sec of my sewer line in my front yard they did great then and sure they will do great now in my back yard.Thx

I needed some outlets moved while remodeling my kitchen. The Gillece technician came the same day I called and did what I needed quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with the service he provided.

I scheduled an appointment on July 10, 2017 for the 99 dollar special.
After Gillece reschedule my appointment at least FIVE (5) time, when the technician finally arrived, she provided me with WRONG information. The technician that came to my house needs RETRAINED. She claimed I could not get the 99 dollar special because I had a mixture of old and new wiring, and my wiring would need updated to accommodate the three prong outlets. Well it was ALL A LIE!! I have a home warranty. August 30, 2017 the home warranty company was able to successfully change my 2 prong outlets to three prong outlets with NO ADDITIONAL WORK, or WIRING. If you order any service from GILLECE be sure to get a second opinion because from MY experience with them, they have NO IDEA what they're doing. How can one electrician say she can't complet the same job another electrician did?

Steven Thompson did a remarkable job repairing our water leak! We truly appreciate the quick and prompt service.

We scheduled furnace check on a thursday between 10am-2pm. I waited around and no one showed up. I called and spoke to the lady who told me the tech couldn't make it today. Nice of them to call and tell me. So I rescheduled for the next day for them to come out between 12pm-4pm. Another wasted day as no one showed up or called. I called them at 4:05 pm and a different lady from the day before tells me the tech was just leaving a message on my other phone. No message was left btw. She proceeds to tell me a tech is not available at this time and will let me know when one is available. I told her to just forget it and cancelled as I already wasted 2 days waiting for someone to come out. I will never deal with this place again let alone recommend them to anyone. This place is a joke.

The people in the office couldn t give any warranty information which seems highly unlikely. The diagnosis was completely incorrect and thankfully we didn t fall for their scheme. They quoted $1100 for cleaning of the burners and the problem was NOTHING of the sort.

Steve was the initial person that took his time ensuring I understood the work that was needed and undertaken. He was a great representative of Gillece! Steve coordinated the completion of the work for the same day. Tim and Joey knocked it out so we were only out of commission for a small period of time. Mandy George started it all with my phone call to her! Excellent service with great people!!

27 Apr 19 - Chris came to check my air conditioner. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me options without the high pressure sales that is common. When I do make a major decision, it will be with Gillice. Highly recommend!!

Horrible horrible horrible company!!!! Tried to tell us our clog was too bad to even attempt to fix it with the snake. Said it would cost 10,000 to get a whole new system. Not even an hr later we called a different company and they had the clog fixed within 15 minutes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will lie and try to get you to spend 10x the money than the actual problem is worth.

Electrician was very knowledgeable and explained everything well for me to understand. Was timely and polite.

I made an appointment for an electrical issue that I was having. I was given a timeframe of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m. I received a phone call at 11:30 a.m. Telling me they will not be able to make it And that I needed to reschedule. Wasted my morning waiting for nothing.

John R from Gillece came to unclog a drain in our tub. He did everything possible to unclog the drain. Since he couldn't unclog it there was no service charge.

I had a clogged drain at my house called Gillece they had a service technician at my house the very next day at 8:00 am he even called ahead to let me know he was coming the technicians name was Brandon he was very professional and very knowledgeable (great technician)asked a few questions and in minutes he knew the problem,fixed the issue in a very timely manor all for a very reasonable price couldn't ask for better service would highly recommend Gillece

The two electricians were very polite and exceptionally professional. They were respectful and make the opportunity to recommend Gillece for electrical servicing easy.

Steve Thompson is a great guy all the way around.I had other companies come out which took days and then they never cared about finding the problem with our sewer and how to fix it for good.Gillece is just the opposite Steve took so much time finding the problem asked me to be there every step of the way so I could see and understand everything he even took videos,pics and drew a pic so I could understand better on what was going on.long story short I financed the job thank god Gillece offers that and Steve and the guys fixed everything with a lifetime warranty.I appreciate everything and I m thankful that I got the best guy at the Gillece.Ask for Steve I bet you ll have the same experience.

I called and setup a consultation for electrical work. I was given a timeframe of 12-4 pm for the following Monday. I even received a follow up phone on Monday stating that I would receive a 30 minute window when someone would arrive. Well, no one ended up calling nor showing up. I had to call to see if a reschedule was available for Tuesday. I was given the same window of time and yet once again no call/ no show.

Ed Stamerra arrived the same day, that I called Gillece, in an icey snowstorm to address my sewer line overflow. He placed a camera in the sewer lines to quickly diagnosis the problem then provided total solutions to replace all interior lines plus restoration.

The staff was professional, friendly, arrived on time with daily clean up.

It's rare to have a company exceed expectations! Thank you Ed and the Gillece staff!

Additionally the warranty is transferable to the next owner, which is a great selling point.

Steven Thompson did an excellent job installing our new hot water tank. He effectively communicated our needs and the cost breakdown. He was conscientious about our home, pets, and time. He performed his work promptly and efficiently. We have nothing but good things to say about Steven.

On the other hand, the customer service representatives, most specifically, Olivia, did a very poor job of communicating with us throughout the process. We were given false information on numerous occasions, and only finally received our first call from her after Steven had already alerted us he was in route. We didn't receive any communication until 27 hours after our initial call.

Great service, the technician took extra time to show me things I can do to keep my furnace running longer.

They were supposed to be here Saturday morning waited all day called and gave me top priority for Sunday they called and told me they couldn't help me and I should find someone else, even though they knknew I was a disabled stroke victim from January for two days I couldn't cook or do dishes or take a shower. So uncaring when I called they cut me off mid sentence and put me on hold. So unprofessional and so demeaning they lie when they advertise 24/7, when they only work 9 -5 and screw the person next on the list we will see this business fold since their customers are so unimportant to them

After a few weeks of sub-freezing temperatures, my sump pump water started backing up. Steven Thompson Sr came out and discovered the problem was a big plug of ice in the line taking the sump water away from the house. He was out there in freezing temps getting the pipe unclogged so the sump could do its job, for at least an hour with the camera and other equipment. Discussed more involved fixes for when the ground thaws in spring. Excellent service and will call again. Thank you!
