The service tech was late to the appointment to repair my heat in the winter, and turned out to not even be a tech but a salesman who tried to get me to upgrade everything instead of trying to repair the current system I have and significantly overcharged me to upgrade. Would not trust this company.

We had Steven Thompson Sr. come check out some clogged drain pipes. He was very professional and kind. He took time to make sure he kept the house clean by putting on booties. He also provided us with some good advice on how to handle the situation.

Steven Thompson Sr. was our technician for a leaking toilet and he did a great job explaining the situation. Had to try a couple different approaches, but was able to get the job done. Offered to follow up if needed. Good experience.

Steven Thompson Sr He came unclog drain on time very courteous very happy with him

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. By far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. CALLED 3 times, finally they scheduled someone to come out. Than 30 minutes before they were suppose to be there they cancelled and put me on the schedule for first thing the next day. Than an hour after they were suppose to be there call me to tell me they won't make it to the house. There is a sewage back up in my house for 3 days now because i relied on their horrible employees.

My husband and I had a HUGE plumbing/septic issue that resulted into leakage into our finished basement and utility room. I called Gillece a 8:30 in the morning explaining our dilemma, and had Adam C. at our house within hours. He was very knowledgeable and willing to look into all aspects to help us solve our problem. After locating our main problem, Adam C. continued to alleviate our worries and made great suggestions for my husband to do around the house to make our plumbing better and troubleshoot any future problems that we may encounter.

Tiffany did a great job with our electrical work. Very pleased.

Ron was very thorough when explaining what went wrong with our unit, showed me everything he was doing while he worked on it, and how to prevent it in the future. Very pleasant experience.

Toilet in bathroom was rocking and had moved an inch or so to the left. Had Gillece come and check it out and found that the drain pipe connection where the toilet bolted on was completely rusted out and half of it was broken off. Further inspection revealed that the old pipe (must be at least 70 years old) had cracks and was very rusted out. The Gillece repairman showed me this in detail. We checked the run into the basement and found that it was also very rusted with what looked like stress cracks and determined that the complete drainage system needed replaced. YUCH!

This required removing part of the wall in the dining room and part of the ceiling and also part of the outside wall in the bathroom to get to the vent pipe. Had to dig up the concrete in the basement to get to the main drain also.

The service men who did the job were very professional and explained everything to me as they went along - this was a BIG job. They completed it in 4 days with the fifth day repositioning the washer and dryer in the basement after the new cement dried.

I am very pleased with the outcome. I do think they are a bit pricy but they did a great job and in the shortest time possible. My house is over 100 years old - guess the old drainage system just work out.

After spending about $8,000 with this company I realized how bad of a company it was to work with.

Their service people are salesman too so they will try to convince you to got the most expensive route every time. They told me I needed to replace my entire unit ($7,000-$8,000, 5 years old) then I got the entire issue fixed for $575 from Schultheis brothers, as well as very reasonable upgrades to my unit.

When complaining they said that it s not unusual for their prices to be thousands higher than competitors because of the different hourly wages they charge.

This company is a joke but a good last case scenario.

Problem was identified and future actions were discussed. Quick service, very attentive and thoughtful, hardworking Serviceman. Thanks for all your time and help.

We had Bryan H. from Gillece come to the house to diagnose a tricky electrical problem, he took the time to find the issue and come up with a solution, he was very professional and thorough, I really appreciated how nice he was and how he took the time to understand what we had been going through.

Steven Thompson-Me and my wife are so happy with the way things went.We had Steve here before in 2018 he knew what the problem was with our sewer line and even let us know that at some point the other section of clay pipe was going to go bad and he was 100% right because 2yrs later the othe section broke and shifted stopping everything from draining he showed us on the camera and because we have full trust in him we got it replaced.All the guys were great .Steve always Treated us fair we really appreciate it thank you we will always call on him if we have any future problems with anything else

Crooks, obnoxious upcharges that are 5-10 times higher than what an equally (or more) competent competitor would charge. Don t be fooled into using this company like I did, especially when there are so many other options available.

Gillece to the rescue! Our hot water tank decided to go bad last weekend. We called Gillece and they were on the scene in no time. Jeff not only came out super late, but arranged to get us a tank that evening. He even stayed until the early hours of the next morning to assure our tank was working and we were up to code! Thank you Jeff and Bill for the great service!

Steven Thompson Sr knew exactly what the issue was and took care of it in a timely manner. He explained in great detail what needed to be done in a way that I understood. I would contact Gillece again.

Came to my house and claimed the snake and camera was stuck in the drain. The estimated cost was $5289.76 to recover their equipment and proceed with finding the blockage. Thank God I didn't have the money! I called another plumbing company who reached in and pulled their "stuck" equipment out by hand and completed the entire job for under $1000. Run don't walk from them!!!

Scheduling was a nightmare. Bumped from the morning time frame twice. Once, they did not make it to me at all. Once they arrived at three.
Office staff did not listen to me regarding what my problem was so when the plumber finally got to me he was not equipped to do the job I needed done.
I arranged to have the plumber met at the house by a friend of mine. Office staff neglected to tell me plumber must be met by the deeded property owner for them to do work. I even specifically mentioned I was arranging having a friend meet the plumber. That did not prompt the office staff to bring this requirement up.
Over a week later, plumber arrived early today. Was equipped to the job, and did it easily. Plumber was polite and personable.

Tako and Ron provided me with quality service and went above and beyond getting finance. Thank you!!!

I had the service manager come to my house today, as part of the plan that was purchased on the home for another service, for a boiler check. The service manager had the audacity to insinuate to absurd things and insult my grandfather. My house has been in my family for almost 100 years. Regardless, as a service manager he should have known better than to insult anyone's family member. He also demanded to start work today (remember he came for a service check and had told me everything was in good working order), as well as try to bully me into calling my mother while he was there so he could start work. The manager also would not let up about prices being fair which I already know they are not.

This "business" is overpriced and tries to pray on woman and new/young home owners to buy things that aren't needed. I will never give this company a dime!!

Gillece just honored our warranty on our heating and cooling system by replacing the leaking cooling coil. The service rep who discovered what the problem was was very thorough and honest with us. Gillece was very prompt with the replacement and because of the warranty it didn't cost us a cent. Thank you Gillece!

Dylan came and installed a new dryer outlet and also went over a service partner program witch we are now members

DO NOT call these people! They came into our home and lied about the issues we had. Unfortunately we didn't realize until after we started to let them proceed. They damaged our pipes themselves! They were going to fix what they damaged. We had other plumbers come and all confirmed they were doing fradulant work. It was merely a clogged drain in the beginning. We canceled our contract and they tried to take us to court. The court found in our favor. They are scam artists!

Ron H. did a great job explaining what s going on with our furnace and how to do preventative maintainance going forward. Very knowledgeable and gave honest evaluation. Thanks!

Steven Thompson good guy knows his stuff got my sewer back running

So I know there is a lot of skepticism in regards to this company so I will give the good and bad. I originally called them to do a job and it took them three days and they still never showed so I cancelled and shopped around. No price was better in regards to snaking a drain. I called them again that next week and told them how dissatisfied I was with their lack of professionalism and they sent someone out that same day. He arrived within the given timeframe, was very professional, assessed the problem, and got right to it. They didn't charge me anymore than what the advertisement said they would. Job was quick, easy and effective.

Hired them to remove electrical wiring from the main in my home to a defunct hot tub in my backyard. I appreciated the upfront pricing options and friendly personality of the technician. She was amazing! This will now be my go-to for all home services as my experience with them was so positive (as unfortunately, in my experience one does not always have positive experiences with these types of providers!) Thank you!

Steven Thompson is a all around good guy and very professional.Steve came out same day as we called it was actually evening which we were thankful for we had a bad sewer back up in our basement Steve called us down to show us every step that he was doing we found that our trap was broke and holding all the sewage which makes since because we had this problem in the past but the other company never took the time like Gillece did .The hole they had to dig to replace our trap was scary deep 10ft but they came back the next day which is amazing because we couldn t even get another company to even come out and look at it for days.Jeff was very professional also he was the one who did the work He was very thoughtful he even put in a temp line so we could use our house and not have to stay in a hotel anymore clean up was very good I am very impressed and happy with all work I will be calling the lease in the future and using Steve again for all our plumbing issues

I called at 8pm and they were there first thing the next morning. I was given a comprehensive review of my AC issues and a list of solutions to choose from. The staff was friendly and did an excellent job with the repairs. I highly recommend them based on my experience.

The technician,Ron, came on the same day that I called for service regarding my furnace. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will use them again and will recommend them to family and friends.

Called Gillece to snake a basement floor drain. The guy came to my house and after 2 minutes of using the snake told me that there s nothing he can do Because it wasn t a clog and the drain trap needs replaced and it would be almost 10 grand. I went to Home Depot and bought some industrial drain cleaner. Problem was fixed in an hour. I will never call this company again. Always get a second opinion don t trust these people.

Corrected ceiling fan installations by previous occupants where conduits were on ceiling and wall. Reinstalled the fans and inserted wiring. Fixed issues in circuit box.

DON'T call Gillece. Charged $158 to run snake out toilet line. I had to remove and reinstall toilet or it would have been $350. Next day main line was clogged. (They only push clog further down)Also they said I needed a trap added to line and it would be $780. I installed my self for $15 in 15 minutes.
I called a different plumber and they cleared line out to street for $65.

The service technician, Ron H, is extreemly knowledgeable and informative concerning changing from a heat pump system to a gas system. He gave me optional choices that I had not considered. These options would save me considerable costs of installation. He is a great representative and an asset to both customers and his company.

I've never seen a more poorly run company that charges 6 or 7 times more than other plumbing companies charge for the same thing ID STRONGLY SUGGUST IF U NEED PLUMBING ELECTRICAL OR HVAC WORK DONE ON YOUR HOME GO SOMEWERE ELSE

I had a clogged tub in the upstairs bathroom. I called Gillece because this company and it's employees did EXCELLENT work replacing an electric panel , all the wiring and a cut off switch for a new hot tub. I also had a new Air conditioner and outside element and wiring completed by other EXCELLENT employees. So WHO am I going to call? GILLECE! A young man came to the door in appropriate clothing , Identified himself and put those shoe covers on, before he even came in the house. He asked me what the problem was and was shown the bathroom tub. It was clear in less than 10 minutes. NO FUSS NO MESS. EXCELLENT work AGAIN. I will recommend GILLECE to everyone I know. Professional work, by professional staff, using excellent materials for a reasonable price!! Thank You very much

Adam C was prompt and very courteous when he arrived at my home to make the necessary repairs to a malfunctioning natural gas line in my fireplace. He was very professional and I was confident he would be able to complete the work needed. His service was quick and efficient and I appreciate his quality of work. Gillece came out to do a repair a leak in the air conditioner. However, that turned into a 6800 job and then they tried to take us to the cleaner. When we didn't go for it, they wouldn't fix the original problem. Left us without a working air conditioner, when it was working in the first place. Terrible, save your money and go to Angie's List. Wished we would have looked at Gillece reviews!! Do your research!

Tiffany did wonderful job upgrading the electrical on our property. We had the electrical box upgraded, 3 new power outlets 7 others updated. Tiffany was kind, professional and courteous. There was no mess left behind, the wiring that was installed was clean and tidy. Highly recommend her for any electrical work.

Steven Thompson sr. Was a excellent plumber. He found the problem with the camera and then used the snake to unclog the drain. Very friendly and professional. I would recommend this service to anyone who is having plumbing issues. They also do heating issues.

We had a 13,000 dollar boiler system put in our house in December 2016. Came with a manufacturer warranty and a warranty directly written out from Gillece themselves. We have had issues from the install not being done correctly to water in the exhaust pipe due to installation and the flame ignite sensor kicking the system off. Which then results in having no heat in the middle of the night and freezing small children, which they don't seem to care about. They got the installation parts of the issue fixed, however, they still have not correctly fixed the ignite sensor. They come out clean it and say its all good and then it goes bad again months later. Well it just did it again Feb. 6,2020. So we called them out to honor the warranty and the work that they say was completed and done correctly. They tell us it will be a 95 dollar charge even though it has been a ongoing issue and we have a warranty. They give us the run around when people can come out to the house. We ask for higher management and they just say they will call you that they aren't in the office. So we wait and wait and wait and still don't hear from anyone. We wait and wait and wait around the house for someone to come and pray they are the ones to permanently fix the issue but just keep getting pushed till next day. The office says that we have cussed out the workers, which has never been the situation. If Gillece wants to know the real truth, Gillece workers complain about the company non stop and how the schedulers don't care about when they schedule appointments. Etc. Etc. I could go on and on but for my sanity I am going to stop. I feel the company does what is good for them and that they will keep you happy until they have your money and then they don't seem to care!! Be aware and do your research!! It's a shame because the technicians that come out know their stuff they just have to follow company procedures and this company is horrible for caring about their workers and their customers!!

Tako was great. He came on time, gave me great advice on how to keep my furnace running at it's best. I'd recommend him and gillece services any time.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Rich and Tako. There were multiple hurdles to jump in order to complete the job, and they were nothing but very professional, extremely patient, and courteous. They did an amazing job given the hiccups encountered along the way. I am grateful they discovered a gas leak in the process of installing my new system.

On the other hand, communication with the office staff was extremely difficult, challenging, and frustrating. I was promised calls back "in a few minutes" but routinely had to wait hours for a return call, if at all. On a couple of occasions I waited at home all day and never got so much as a call to let me know the status of my appointment, only to find out (well after the appointment window) that they would not be able to keep it as previously scheduled. I appreciate the help from Kevin, as he was able to intervene and help get things moving with regard to call-backs from the office staff.

Steven Thompson Sr. Came out on short notice off of vacation to help us with a broken gas valve. Was fast and friendly.

Gillece is the best and I know why that got a plumber like Steven Thompson Who is so very patient polite professional and well knowledgeable about what he does he showed us pictures drew pics for us and wrote every step that they had to take to fix my sewer line .We couldn t do his job they have to work in some pretty bad Conditions but if I could give anybody advice ask for Steve he s great #1.Thanks Gillece

Have had Steven Thompson Sr at my home more then once over the yrs and I can not say enough how above and beyond he goes I just had my main sewer line replaced not only did that go prefect but he even took over handling everything with my insurance company and got me back 80% of what I paid and I know for a fact it was because of him .Thanks so much

I'll start by saying the service technician was very honest and upfront but from a company standpoint their pricing is crazy high. Unless you're in an emergency situation, find yourself another plumbing company that has a better pricing structure. Needless to say, I did not use Gillece...

I had a water leak in the center of a pipe and Scott came out and fixed it. He was very knowledgeable and we discussed other plumbing issues in the house. I didn't feel like he was trying to oversell me anything. Good service and he got the job done in a timely manner

Really disappointed in this company. We are trying to sell our home from a different state and we contacted them to run a camera through our system to make sure a blockage was removed before the final sale on our home. They scheduled with us to come out on Tuesday, then called and cancelled due to an emergency. Then scheduled to come out on Thursday and never called. When we called them, they figured out that they had called the wrong number to get ahold of us, but then told us that they didnt have anyone to come out for the rest of the day. My realtor spent 2 days of her own time to be there and they didnt have the decency to even apologize. When I called to speak to someone about it, no manager was even willing to take my call and the girl on the phone spoke like she couldn't care less about how they had treated us. Do yourself a favor and contact/support local plumbers.

I called yesterday to get my sewage fixed because it was backed up and it was an emergency and they booked me for the next day they called me 3x as a reminder that I had an appointment that day. I confirmed it and was told when they send a technician out it will be 45 mins to an hour so I sat and waited for a call comes 2:20pm I get a call that a technician will be on the way in 45 mins to an hour, as previously stated, so I wait the given time and than some and comes 3:45pm nobody arrived and I didn t receive a call saying the wait would be longer. I called them after waiting so long and asked what was going on they tried to reschedule me and apologized for the inconvenience, when they knew it was an emergency, I denied it as well as I heard from people in the background saying all the technicians went home. I am very upset with this company and will not use them!

My Technician Brandon E. was terrific! He was extremely professional and very helpful. I would recommend him to everyone getting services done by Gillece.
