The sales staff are very relaxed and easy going. I intended to go in last night just to learn about end of lease options, but left with a new lease. When everyone is so helpful and they just give you the facts you need, I put a value on that and don't want to pay the cost of driving to different places talking to sales people that maybe aren't so helpful. Could I get a better deal somewhere else? Maybe? But trust and comfort and good people go a long way with me. I'ved bought one car and leased two others from here. No complaints. Deseree and Steven are awesome.

They could not determine what the problem was therefore I was charged almost $300.00 for a non- diagnosis and sent home with the same brake problem. Seems the mechanics couldn't figure out the problem if the computer didn't find it for them.
Billy Linville was my experience guide at Fort Mill Ford and he was phenomenal. Billy is down to Earth, great to work with, and very understanding. He took care of me through my entire experience there. Billy has all the makings of an excellent person and experience guide. You can tell he isn't there to make a sale but to help you find what you're looking for. He will go the extra mile for you and then some. That's what separates him from other salesmen. I will be referring everyone and I refer you, the reader, if you need to visit Fort Mill Ford then ask for Billy Linville. You will not be disappointed in your experience. He's earned these 5 stars for Fort Mill Ford. Thanks again Billy for all your help.
Most customer friendly experience. Having experienced staff, such as William Kennedy, made our shopping experience thorough and absolutely not a chore to buy a new car at Fort Mill Ford.
Good experience except the sticker for the car said included original floor mats for Nissan Altima. Says it plainly on the sticker and dealer said not available. They offered standard cheap floor mats in place of the car originals. I think that if its listed on sheet they should keep their word and not offer cheap mats.
Was told to come back with a co signer for the vehicle I wanted so I informed them I'd be back the next day with my cash down and my co signer only to get a call a few hours before I get off work to go get the car they call me to tell me they sold it. Very unprofessional and they obviously cared more about just making a sale rather then the customer. I had a great sales person lue but horrible management at this location from the rest the staff.
It was excellent. First, it was much easier to talk to a human when scheduling the appointment. Second, the Service Advisor, Brandon Gafgen, did an excellent job. For example, when I arrived for my appointment, he came to my car before I got the door open. It seems you have made a lot of customer service improvements. Thanks for the change.
Had reserved time for new car maintenance check ( oil/filter change, fluids, etc, overall checkup). Car was immediately serviced and I waited for only 30-40 minutes, with coffee in customer lounge. On-site restaurant was also available, but I already had a full breakfast. Overall - positive experience.
My wife and I just bought a 2016 Ford Explorer. Terrence Coker was our salesman and he is AWESOME. He was timely, attentive, and patient. We told him where we needed to be to get the purchase done, and he delivered. No wasted time, no sitting around waiting on sales manage. The facility is spotless. My two year old son put on a show for the whole staff and everybody just went along. A great family atmosphere. And last but not least, we did not feel pressured at ANY time. I'd recommend them to everybody! 100 times better than Performance Ford!!!
Dave (Big Dave) Kozarich is the BEST! I have come to trust him with ALL vehicle related issues! This is the ONLY place that doesn't seem to constantly try to convince me to replace parts, yet they are very clear and HONEST about wear and tear and what options are available. I have referred Ft Mill Ford to many and will continue to do so. Thank you, Dave, for helping me trust a car dealership/maintenance business.
I wanted to get a truck for my husband. I looked at a lot of different places to find the truck that my husband would enjoy. After finding the perfect truck on the Fort Mill Ford website, I called and made an appointment to go look at it. Once we got there to look at the truck they were supposed to pull for us, but they had actually sold it already and did not take it off their website. That is where Adrian comes in. He apologized for the mix up and tried his best to find one similar to what we wanted. We test drove one truck and was not completely satisfied with it, so he showed us around. He was very patient with us to find the perfect truck. After doing some searching we found one that we liked, even though it was a little out of our price range. Adrian worked diligently with the manager Dave to find the best deal for us. Although, we did not receive the student discount or a discount for my husband being a veteran, I feel like we got a good deal. We also got free lunch while we waited for the paper work to be processed. It was an overall excellent experience and would go back for our next car purchase.
The service department seems to struggle with follow-up. I have an F-150 that needed a part replaced on the tailgate. It wasn't in stock so it had to be ordered and I was told I would be contacted when it came in. I had to follow-up with them on two separate occasions before it was finally ordered and installed. I had the same experience with another part that needed to be replaced after that. Not in stock, will need to order, will follow-up. They never followed up and when I called to check, I was passed around to a few folks on the phone then told they would call me back, which they never did.
I met salesman that was super friendly, patient, informative, considerate, and genuine. He found me a wonderful car that fit the criteria I had for the vehicle. He also took a lot of time to show me all the features of the car and made sure that I felt very comfortable with maneuvering it before I left. If I had any questions or concerns, he always answered quickly!
Always get my maintenance done here...and they are fast! I expect to wait forever, and nope, they have it done in no time! Love it. Thanks. Latest: I always get excellent treatment at Fort Mill Ford. Just had my car serviced this past Monday and as always, I am met at the car, and later in the day, the car is driven back to me at the service counter. Friendly, professional. Just like it.
Frank is the To-Go guy. Always considerate. Always helpful.
I recently purchased a used 2015 Silverado and my experience at a Fort Mill Ford was awesome! Ashley Razo was incredibly helpful. I had stopped at the local Car Max prior to going to Fort Mill Ford and I would say that Car Max could learn a lot from Fort Mill Ford. Ashley made me feel comfortable and was very thorough when answering my questions. She explained the process and was very transparent. I would definitely return to Fort Mill Ford and work with Ashley Razo!
Not very happy with my service trip there. I have a 2008 Ford Mustang GT. A/C system is leaking from the schrader valves in the low and high side ports. I took it in to have it fixed. My service advisor Brandon Gafgen was very professional and took my car right in. Then it went down hill from there. After about 15 minutes with the mechanic i get a estimate of $944. dollars to fix it. The mechanic stated that he could not remove the schrader valve from the low side. So, they want to charge me for a whole new a/c hose. So, i tell them not to fix it. It was way too much. So,after waiting another 45 minutes they finally bring my car around. Oh,and charge me $100.00 for about 15 minutes of looking at it and not touching it? So,i get home and check the low side schrader valve with my tool and it comes right out with very little effort. Go figure. I ordered a service kit for $15 dollars to fix it myself. Not $944 dollars? It's just a shame i wasted $100. dollars for nothing. Oh,and now i definetly won't be getting my trans flushed there. So,there's $240. dollars they lost. I just don't trust someone that doesn't even try to fix something simple but want to charge me a ridiculous amount of money to do way more then it needed. Only good point was Brandon Gafgen, thank you sir for trying to take care of the customer.
This place is awesome! They take their time with any questions you may have, they give you options with vehicles on their lot, and they give you the best loan option. The process is quick! Ask for Mr. Lou Angelici and Mr. Ramirez they are the best! The kids area is cleaned and keeps the kids entertain while you shop.
Update: I thought i would give you guys a shot, seeing how close you are to my home. I spoke with Bob personally today. I must say, i see why FMF is getting bad reviews. Bob is not someone I would ever want to give my hard earned money to. He single handedly lost my sale today. My salesman Mark was awesome. Bob is pretty rude in demeanor, and needs to work on his customer skills. I will be buying a truck this weekend. It won't be from FMF. I'm a loyal customer too, I've bought 9 vehicles over 11 years from 2 dealerships. Guess I'll be going back to the ones I like and trust. Bad for you guys, I change vehicles like underwear. I'll never be back again. Cheers Bob. and thanks Mark.
original: Looks like you run a shotty operation over at Fort Mill Ford. Guess I won't be buying a car from you guys. Too bad, FMF is 5 mins from my house.
First and fastest purchase ever on a vehicle! We are delighted with our new Ford Edge. Our only contact was the young man who completed our purchase in a very professional and friendly manner. Truly it was a pleasure doing business with Fort Mill Ford. We will not hesitate to return to Fort Mill Ford for our next vehicle.
Your web page is very useful but it does not show towing capacity. Our salesperson (Ron) was very helpful and informative. He was not pushy and very patient too. He gets a perfect score.
I shopped at about 8 other Ford Dealerships and all were using the same tactics of "Bait and Switch", basically luring you in on the 0% financing but losing all the rebates. Joe and Chris were the only ones that explained everything up front and walked me through the best deal for me. If you are in the market for a Ford these are the guys to deal with. I live in Greenville, SC and they even delivered my new Explorer to my house with a full tank of gas. My business partner is going to buy from them soon as well and he knows how much time and effort I put in researching. Thanks Peter Kap
Wonderful experience at the dealership. They worked hard to get my deal done and the customer service was outstanding, from the sales manger to the finance team. Amazing job...best car buying experience EVER!
First online car purchase. Once I made it through call center and got tonTerrance and Blake things were flawless. Blake (finance manager) and Terrance (delivered the car) were exceptional. Experience was easy and stress free!! Thank you Terrace for the delivery, extra work with pics and videos and for answering all my crazy questions! You are much appreciated!!
Best experience in purchasing a new car that we've ever had! My wife doesn't get home until late each day so Levi offered to bring a truck to our house for us to test drive. It wasn't exactly what we wanted so Levi said he would look around and would only call us if he found what we were looking for. A few days later he called and felt this was the truck. We decided to go in on Saturday to test drive it. Well, it was perfect and ended up buying it the same day. We had financing but they offered to search for a better deal and found it. Levi was so knowledgeable and patient. He made a point to go over all of the techy stuff with us. Excellent salesperson and an excellent experience.
Went to Ford for an oil change this past week. Received excellent service from Brandon who walked me through what maintenance my car needed and when (without pressure to get it done at Ford). This was helpful since I am a young car owner. The oil change was fast and easy. Thanks Ford crew!
Made appointment via the Internet 90 minutes before arriving. Arrived on the time that I had scheduled and was greeted as I got out of the car. Car was serviced in recorded time and I was one my way back home.
Horrible dealership KEEP away,They are rude and have horrible service procedures. Got a recall notice for passenger seat and air bag light on (Warranty Issue) but THEY want me to leave the truck. No Loaner!! They just lost this customer.....BUY somewhere else.
Customer Service at it's BEST! Bobby was awesome. He understood my issues. He kept me posted on the progress of my service. All and All, he was the best person I've worked with in the service department. Also, while you're waiting for your car to be service... check out the restaurant. The food is to die for. Afterward, I needed a nap. The food was amazing!!!! :-)
After I brought one our vehicles in for a recall, I received the expected call from a service writer stating that the cabin air filter needed to be changed and that the coolant needed to be flushed(among other things). I changed the cabin air filter two weeks prior and less than two months ago I changed a coolant line which resulted in draining/replacing the coolant. The level in the expansion/overflow tank was checked the evening before the appointment and it was correct and the coolant looked as if it had just been replaced(clean). Obviously sales oriented without regard to actual need for the work to be accomplished or the expense to the customer.
I bought a new F-150 with the assistance of Chris Mills. The experience was the best and most relaxed of any car purchases I have made. I appreciated the bottom-line price listed on each vehicle. During negotiations, I never felt pressured or rushed. My bank had the better loan and Chris made sure the financial part ran smoothly as most of the transaction is done digitally on an Ipad. This was nice as everything happened fast and smooth. This experience trumps our visit to other Ford dealers in Charlotte. My wife will be purchasing a new vehicle soon and we will be shopping at Fort Mill first.
Great customer service and quick turnaround getting your vehicle back. I've been going here a little over a year and half and never had a bad experience. If you go, ask for Brandon, he's your guy! Best customer rep I've ever had.
I went in because another mechanic told me I needed to replace some parts and I didn't believe them. Ford Motor took the time to thoroughly check things out and show me the condition of the vehicle. They explained everything to me and allayed my concerns. They were extremely efficient, professional and very helpful. I was treated with respect and handled in a timely manner!!
Always easy to drop off my vehicle early in the morning. Receive a phone call that my car is ready and I get to pick up Frenchie (name of my car). Brandon is always super nice and helpful.
As a military veteran who has served around the country, I have purchased vehicles at many dealerships since 1970. I believe that Fort Mill Ford provides the VERY BEST buying and after-market customer service - - - far above the many other dealerships I have experienced. They are honest, trust worthy, and just great people to deal with. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase or service a vehicle. Frank Arnold is the very best when it comes to coordinating and managing service programs; great customer service rep.
I made an appointment for 1:00pm with Big Dave for Friday 11/25. I arrived at 12:55pm and Big Dave checked me in. The service was for an oil change only. After being on site for 1 hour, I went back to the service area and saw my truck so I asked Big Dave if mine was ready and he said no, apologized for the waiting time and said he would get the manager involved to crack the whip on the service techs. They came and got my truck, completed the service and I left about 2:50pm. A little slower than the normal time but I was still impressed by the class of Big Dave and to show me some courtesy and let me know he would get the manager involved so he could get his customers took care of.
Had the BEST car buying experience with the help of Mr. Kirby. There was no pressure to buy! We even walked out of the dealership on Wednesday night without a vehicle. He gave us the time to think we needed and we bought the car the next day. We don't buy cars often and appreciated his patience and how he had all the paperwork ready for a fast checkout experience. We believe we got a great car at Fort Mill Ford for a great value. Many thanks!
This was the best car buying experience I've had since not being able to buy under the "Z" plan anymore. Paul was an excellent salesman (I know they don't call them that here) and provided great customer service. No pressure at all. The price was comparable to the competition and I received a very fair price on my trade in. I will be a repeat customer
Bought a certified preowned from here a few months ago and the car stalled out a few times. I set an appointment and within hours they had it repaired free of charge. I love this place!
I rather not complain or rant about my recent experience. Instead, referring to my recent experience, I will give some suggestions on improving the customer service experience.
A customer service associate should always take the next customer in line, regardless if that customer was not assigned to them.
I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment. Even though she was helping a customer, I was greeted by a service associate when I walked in. I told her I had an 11:00 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. She said she will be with me when she's finished with the current customer. Another associate was talking to a frustrated customer who showed up late for her appointment. After the associate I was waiting on helped her current customer, she started helping the frustrated customer instead of me. That was not a problem being that I felt she was just trying to get the lady out and on her way. The problem I had with this was that there were two other associates not helping anyone. Then I was asked by one of the associates about my appointment. I thought he was going to help me after he asked for my name. Instead, he pointed me back to the advisor who was helping the frustrated customer, stating that I was assigned to her. I felt that he or the other associate could have helped me, even though I wasn't assigned to either one of them. All I had to do was give them my key, which was the case after waiting for my assigned service advisor take care of the frustrated customer.
Periodically update the customer on their vehicle status through text or phone call.
I dropped my car off on time at 11:00 despite the service advisor taking the frustrated customer ahead of me. She told me that they will call me when the service was complete. However, I haven't received any calls until I called them at 4:00 pm. I was told that my assigned service advisor was not at her desk and asked if I would like her voicemail. During this instance, I felt that I should have been forwarded to someone who could tell me the status of my vehicle. I left a message with the advisor. In the meantime, my fiance called a few times to get an update on my car until she finally got someone who told her the car will be ready at 6:00 pm. She needs the car to get to work at 7:00. This frustrated me because I dropped my car off at 11:00. Then, at 5:44 pm, I got a call my service advisor that the car was ready. Again, regardless of whether I was waiting or dropping it off, I should not have to wait a day for an oil change and tire rotation, especially if I had an appointment.
Also, when I looked at the invoice, the PROMISED section stated 14:00 09AUG2019. I assumed that this was the time my car service was going to be completed. However, I didn't get my car until four hours later.
This is the first time, since being a Fort Mill Ford customer since 2016, that I've experience poor service. I don't know if it was just a rough day for the service advisors and the repair department, but there is definitely room for improvement.
I cant say enough about these guys! Everyone I talked to was so kind and amazing. I was a first time buyer and my experience was sooo easy. They listened to my wants in regards to pricing and they weren't reluctant to negotiate. My salesman was Rocky and he was just awesome. 10/10 would recommend!!!
Great service from start to finish! Helpful friendly representatives. Not pushy sales people. Very knowledgeable and up front throughout the whole car buying process. Would definitely recommend checking them out when searching for a good deal.
DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! We purchased a Ford Fusion back in March/April this year. We paid the extra fees for them to take care of the taxes and tags. Because our old tag was still in my mother-n-laws name, we had to get a new tag. When all was said and done, my husband tried to take the old tag so he could turn it in to the DMV. The sales associate insisted we leave it and she would turn it in. Today, August 23rd, my mother-n-law had the cops at her door for failure to turn in the tag and stated her license had been revoked. Turns out, the dealership still had our tag. Now, she will forever have it on her record that her license was revoked. She travels for work so this is a huge problem. She also has to re-apply for her pharmacy license each year, and on that application it asks "Has your license ever been revoked?" From now on, she will have to have proof of why it was revoked and deal with this problem over and over. All day I have been dealing with this problem. I kept calling to be told I would get a call back from the manager. At 4:00, I finally get a call from Todd Grubb. He believes they have done everything they needed to do to fix this. I have wasted a whole days work. My mother-n-law was unable to go to work or drive today. I still have not heard back whether her license has been re-instated or not. I would say, NO, they have not done everything they needed to fix this! On top of this, a day after we pull off the lot, the car starts making horrible popping sounds coming from the wheels/bearings. We call and call and get the run around. They would not fix it. In fact, said to pay them $400+ for them to fix it. We ended up taking it somewhere else to be fixed, and now the other wheel/bearing is making the same noise. Bad business, bad customer service, and unethical. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
We have purchased over 20 new Fords in my lifetime, all over Michigan, in Atlanta and in the Charlotte area. We are X plan buyers, so typically the price is the same at every dealer and the only negotiation is "how much are you going to give me for our car?" Robby Hart explained the "Sonic" difference and "True Price" concept to us and they beat the X Plan price and met another offer that we had on our used vehicle. Unlike other dealerships, the Manager never came out to pressure us. He didn't have to. Our salesperson, Robby Hart had full control of the deal. We never met a finance person, everything was done electronically. There were no managers watching over everything that he did. Another salesperson (Chris) even helped us when Robby was with another client when we came back to do the deal. Everyone in the building was polite, and we didn't feel like they were vultures looking for fresh meat when we walked in. I would recommend Robby, Chris and Fort Mill Ford to anyone! It is worth the drive....I pass a Ford dealer on the way to them :-)
I just purchased a new f-150 here. It was an outstanding experience. No hassles, no pressure, great price and service. They took the time to make sure I was happy with my decision and was totally satisfied. If you are in the market for a Ford, this is the place to go.
My wife and I visited Fort Mill Ford after hearing about a raffle they were holding for Panther tickets. We did not win the tickets but did wind up purchasing a new 2016 Escape. Jayda Hinkle assisted us and did a great job of taking us through the process without alot of ginmmicks or haggling over price. Even after we took delivery, the dealership quickly fixed a problem caused by a small pebble getting caught up in the brake rotor and making an awful racket. We are satisfied customers and will return in the future.
Bought my used car with minor issues and they said they would take care of them. I had a new bumper installed and painted and within a week the poor paint job started to chip and is now fully peeling off revealing the fact that the bumper was not primed and poorly done. They have refused to fix anything further leaving my car looking trashy and the paint bubbling and peeling off in sheets.
Good prices but didn't find out about the no outside financing on used cars policy until after I took the time to drive to the dealership and get all the way through the test drive. Deal breaker for me. Communication needs to improve.
Car scheduled for oil change. Service rep was (last name Arnold) was outstanding. Price was as good as any reliable oil change shop. I have even bought my tires there in the past great prices and service.
3 days and 4 phone calls is what was required of myself for Bobby to call back. I asked for a quote on a water pump replacement. I still did not receive the quote when he called back, only the cost of the labor. I do not understand how a business can operate in this fashion. Debbie was very helpful and I am appreciative of her trying to help. I look forward to using Honest-1 Auto Care instead.
Recently had some transmission work done to my Ford Focus. Could not be more pleased with the results. Brandon was very professional and helpful in every way. Car is driving like a dream now.
I've had nothing but great service every time I've been here. Have always done the work needed in a timely manor with great customer service each time.
I wouldn't take a tricycle to Fort Mill Ford. My $198 oil change last summer is the gift that keeps on giving. I Went to another local dealer this morning to get another oil change and they discovered that the cabin filter that was supposedly changed last summer was a hot mess. Probably original to the car.
Thanks for ripping me off for $29 (over priced) cabin filter I didn't get Fort Mill Ford. Don't bother responding either, first impressions last.
Was it because I had out-of-state plates on my car? Hmmmmm I wonder.....
Bottom line: Steer clear of Fort Mill Ford's overpriced and underperforming service department.
The guys and service are terrific and I have confidence in recommendations they make for my 2009 car, which by the way is still running great. The only problem I just had is with a Miscellaneous charge, which they were very patient to explain to me, however, Ford should review their computer program and come up with a better way to include this in your bill. I understand there is a cap with this fee and it is a break down of sorts, which doesn't show up on the work done, but as a customer show me exactly where my costs are!!!!!
I went for fixing a recall issue. The greeter and the technician both were very professional and completed my work request before the promised time. The waiting area is decent. did not try the restaurant though. they also did a complimentary multi point check. Overall it was a good experience.
I bought a previously owned Honda Accord from Terrence Coker in October 2015. One of my bigger problems with purchasing a car is the amount of time spent at the dealer. Mr. Coker and I conducted our business online and over the phone. The car was clean and ready when I showed up to the dealer with my family. I test drove the car, signed a few papers and drove away. There was no haggling, and no foolishness. Mr. Coker was great, very respectful of our time! I fully recommend him.
