I have been renting from ERAC for over 5 years for both business and pleasure and the customer service is top notch. They go above and beyond to meet clients requests. Whether it be with short scheduling timelines or getting you into a vehicle of your choosing, they are extremely accommodating. In those few instances where they may have been a mix-up or the vehicle readiness may not have been up to par, the staff is quickly to rectify or provide compensation. ERAC is my first option in car rental services!
Over the years, I have rented from Enterprise from various airports and stand alone businesses. My experience has always been efficient and professional. This trip didn't disappoint (particularly in Covid) regarding the expediency of agents at pick up at RDU. Reserving was quite the challenge however, and I was forced to reserve for 6 days on a one way; NC to NY when all I desired was 2 days. Covid surcharge and all, I took what I could get. Friendly agent at RDU indicated an adjustment would be made at Stewart International for unused time. Yaaay! 5K mile new Fusion was electronically quirky in too many ways to mention in this post ( I own a 2017 equally as quirky with a mind of its own) however, I will say that the radio going nearly mute at will was more than annoying and the fellas in the garage had all four tires over inflated 8-9 lbs, varying with each tire. Once deflated, the ride quality improved.
Arriving at Stewart after hours was ridiculously simple yet worrisome: write in date/time/mileage/confirmation # on a slip of paper and drop the keys in a box but be held responsible should damage result once having relinquished possession. Segue to credit card charges to find a second charge..Call customer service: long story short, agents at Stewart didn't input my drop off date until 2 days later. Hence, I was charged for 4 days instead of two. Awaiting adjustment now so perhaps a second survey will result in a happy ending ..... to be continued Enterprise?? Initial 3 Stars reflect incompleted experience. Adjustment completed accurately! TY Enterprise. I'll be back. PS Emanuel at RDU was efficient, professional and personable. TY again.
Normally, I have a fantastic experience with Enterprise, as I've been renting with them for years - both on a corporate account and with my own account. This experience really frustrated me.
Two stars because I think the overall experience and the car itself was not bad. The car was a super basic economy Hyundai Accent, so nothing to rave about, but it did everything I needed.
The other three stars that I didn't give were because I feel like the guy who initially checked me in, got me into a car and got me on my way was potentially attempting to defraud me.
I always do the walk around. I make note of issues I see with the car, even if the dings and scratches don't measure up to the damage they're looking for (scratches longer than a dollar, dings bigger than a golf ball). I noticed that the right side rear fender was bent up - out of alignment with the line of the car by about an inch and a half.
After I pointed that out, the guy checking me in said he wouldn't make a note of it because 'That's normal for the Accent, happens to all of them.' He made it sound like a non-issue and I didn't make a bigger deal out of it.
It was in exactly the same condition when I returned the car, and yet when I was doing the walk around with the guy checking the car back in and he asked "What happened here? This is damaged."
We had a brief and slightly heated (on my side) discussion about what the original guy had said. I was frustrated and angry that the guy who put me in the car didn't write it down when I pointed it out, and it felt like not doing so made it possible for them to blame me for damage that had already occurred - essentially, a scam.
That's the kind of shady behavior I don't expect from Enterprise, and I'm disappointed with my most recent rental experience.
Great service. Great staff members. Love them. Just hope their price will be more competitive.
Enterprise is my rental car company of first choice, and typically offers excellent service and staff. My experience at the Raleigh-Durham airport was poor - the worst I've received at Enterprise. The outside shuttle waiting area at the Enterprise office was full of cigarette butts, gum, and other trash. The shuttle drivers, and the staff member to whom I returned the car were excellent. Waited a long time to get a car. The two staff members I dealt with to get the car were neither helpful or friendly as are most Enterprise staff members. Very poor customer service. I would not rent from this location again.

Very positive experience. All the signs in the airport were accurate and the shuttle was easy to find. Reps inside the lot were all friendly and helpful. They were experiencing some system outages that day but still managed to get everything done quickly and efficiently. Vehicle was what I had asked for and drove well. Clean inside and out. Return process was quick and easy and shuttle was right there when I needed it. Keep in mind that they do take debit cards but you need return flight information to be able to use the debit card. Sometimes that information is hard to find on the website. Overall it was an A1 experience. I use enterprise exclusively because they have never let me down and they're always there to pick me up!

Apart from several appalling attempted sneaky upsells during rental, it was fine. The car and price were as advertised, the airport pickup was easy and fast.
I reserved an ordinary intermediate car but all they had at National, which was handling Enterprise business at RDU, was an SUV. The car had no radio unless you subscribed to a service. The shuttle bus, facilities, and the personnel were not very attentive to social distancing, etc. Too many without masks, no signs of disinfectants, etc. It was a scary way to arrive at RDU.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will be doing business there again.
I did not arrive until late in the evening. The staff were helpful and courteous at that hour which is not generally the case. It was a great experience renting from the Enterprise at the Raleigh airport.
Always a good experience with Enterprise. We ended up with a Prius and were pleased with how easy it was to drive and get used to the controls.
SUGGESTION:I think the person who checks the car back in needs to make sure the car keys are in his/her hands before customer leaves for airport. My husband discovered the rental car keys in his pocket when he went through security. Kudos to the TSA officer who suggested we go through security and then one of us go back to the shuttle and return keys to driver. Worked perfectly.
The van we rented from the Raleigh Durham airport Aug 5th and 7th was not "Covid Clean" . The van was filthy, juice all over the the sliding doors, backs of the seats with dirt and grime..wasn't vacuumed, seats dirty, all the door handles inside sticky, it was just filthy. Bery disappointed and gross!
I hate that they have even receive one star. Going on a family vacation, made reservations months in advance for a 15 passenger van. Leving tomorrow, and NO VAN! Awful company, experience, and NOTHING they can do. Just got a, well sorry our system went down and we can't do anything. I am at a loss, so disappointing for my family. This HUGE company can only say sorry.
The car was great. Had some existing dings, by great condition and good experience. Car was inspected and found not to meet standard and was cleaned and washed before being turned over to us. Really, appreciate that kind of attention. The car wasn't ready when we first arrived even though scheduled in advance. Only enough staff in the office for one of 4 terminals. Both priority line and non-priority had to share same service. We were non-priority, but this would cause me some concern as a frequent member. Wait ended up about 30 minutes. Partly in line, part waiting for the car to be made ready. Timeliness would have been a problem if I was on a schedule.

These guys are my hero!!! We had a situation with another prebooked agency that was not pleasant... These guys hooked us up!!! I can not thank you enough for how you took care of us and got us on the road so fast ... I was exhausted up 36 hours by the time we got to them ... Bless their hearts they got us a great rate and on our way to the motel and some much needed sleep thank you x3!!!!!
After arriving late on a delayed overnight redeye flight to Raleigh, we were greeted after a short wait. Not sure if they were short handed or if that is normal staffing or not. But I only saw 2 maybe 3 people that worked there. Once we were greeted the guy took our info and proceeded to pull our reservation. The gentleman was quite friendly and got us into a car and on our way. After we returned our car and returned home I realized I was charged more than I should have been. One call to customer service and our account was refunded a couple days later. I can always count on Enterprise!
Note check your receipt prior to leaving with your rental to avoid any possible misunderstanding.
I did not receive the car i had requested yet was charged for a luxury rental. I requested either a BMW or Range rover SUV and received a Buick. I at least expected and price change for the difference. This vehicle was basically forced upon me because I needed a rental car and was provided with NO OTHER OPTIONS. Most likely will not use Enterprise again.
Flew into town and they were out of compact cars. They provided me with a mini van instead, for the same price and a free tank of gas. Fast and quick service.
I was in need of a rental when I landed at RDU. I had an emergency that I flew in from San Antonio, TX. Jake met me at the counter, heard my situation and found me a car in less than 5 minutes! He also gave me an upgrade! As I was leaving, he put my bag in the car, hugged me and wished me luck. I will only rent from Enterprise from now on!! Jake, you are amazing!!

I rented a Ford Fusion for 6 days while in the area visiting family and friends and had an excellent experience. The car was amazing and I was shuttled by Enterprise both ways to and from the airport. They made the experience flawless!
Customer service was great, only problems were that they do not answer their phones or return messages. Also the hours of operation need to be open a little earlier since they are connected to the airport.

They were very helpful and great people! I had a problem driving the first car because it was so different than what I was use to. They were very quick and understanding and had no problem bringing me a different car. When I decided to upgrade to get a vehicle that I was use to driving again they were very polite and also gave me a discount for all trouble getting back to their location with the first vehicle Also finding the car right car for me. I always have a positive experience whenever I've needed a rental from Enterprise. I always have a short wait time at the counter when checking in to pick up my car. The staff is very friendly and always answers any and all of my questions. Once or twice when I arrived to pick up my vehicle and they did not have the one I selected from their web site, they always had a similar type or a nicer car to give me at no added expense. I would highly recommend Enterprise anytime.

Always excellent customer service. The price is what you expect for an international rental firm near the airport. The cars at all these places are basically the same. I've always had good experiences with the customers service at Enterprise & frankly that seems to be the only real difference between them & the competition if you want to rent a typical car for work or vacation.
If you try to call them they will not answer. The phone has been ringing for over 15min and still no answer.
Enterprise is the way to go. I rent about 25 cars a year, so I want top-notch service, great pricing, and convenient locations. I get all that with Enterprise. Occasionally I have to pick up a car at an odd time or an odd location and I find Enterprise is best positioned to meet these needs. If I need to return the car without filling up, they don't overcharge me. Yes, it's a bit more than the pump price, but considering I skipped the pump, its a deal. I always shop price, so sometimes I end up with another company. I'm glad when Enterprise wins that game, because I know I will get personalized service where they walk you out to the cars and show you what is available. The staff always seem happy and relaxed, so the company must be doing right for the employees.
I am accruing a number of bad experiences dealing dealing with them. The ONLY time I was pleased is when I dealt with them for a loaner car through auto insurance. Save yourself time and a lot of $$$$$$$$ by dealing with another company!
I got great service at this place, but when returning the car to Washington DC, I was billed for extras that I declined in my contract. I complained about it in writing and never heard back. I know that the NC place deserves 5 stars, but am desperate and hope to get the attention of Enterprise. After renting from them many times, I will not go back if this is not fixed soon.
6/27/2018: I didn't get a response from Enterprise, but I do see a refund on my credit card, correcting the billing. So, I am raising to 4 stars and not 5 given the hassles with the incorrect billing.

I must say this was the BEST rental car experience I have ever had! Last minute trip to D.C. due to flight cancellations in FL. The Reps were very accommodating and pleasant to work with at pickup and return.

My experience was overall a very good one, however the start was a little shakey. I always rent with enterprise in my local area. I made my reservation online and all seemed good. We flew into Raleigh/Durham airport and caught the shuttle to Enterprise. The process for my reservation was started and I had indicated that my payment would be with a debit visa. I was then told that I needed to have a return flight locator since I was using a debit card. I explained that we are non revenue travelers and I had not listed a return date yet. I was then told that if I didn't have a return flight that I could not rent the vehicle. I stated that this was not listed in the information when I reserved the vehicle. The representative offered no help. It was after 7pm, my husband is disabled and I could not get to another rental agency. I had to sit and try to get service on my phone to list for a return flight. It took some time and the representative seemed uncaring even as he watched me struggle. I finally got everything together, returned to the desk, thankfully to a different representative who was polite and understanding. He got us on our way very quickly and everything else went smoothly, even when I called in to extend my rental time.
The RDU Airport location of Enterprise is by far the most pleasant renting experience on a consistent basis. Great staff, excellent cars and no hidden charges or up sell. From experience, I can tell that renting from them takes about a third to a quarter of the time it does from Budget next door. Highly recommended.
I came to Enterprise needing a last minute rental and they got me a very nice SUV in about 5 minutes! The staff were very nice and friendly and helped me out so much! They turned my terrible afternoon into a great one! Enterprise is the way to go!

As small of an airport that RDU is you still have to take a shuttle to get to the rental car facility which isn't too far away. The young lady picking people up in the shuttle was rude. She was not very friendly and did not seem to enjoy her job. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful and the vehicle selection was pretty decent for being a smaller location. I was in and out with my car in a very timely manner.
Great service just had a bad experience with a small scratch on the car that the rep didn't point out. But since I didn't do a walk around the car I'm being charged for it :(
We were in Durham for a family medical emergency. Got a nice car at the last minute, added a driver after 5 days, extended the rental easily with a quick phone call. We had many special needs and we were accommodated with efficiency and kindness. All at a good price. No hassle at a time when we needed to focus on other things. Much appreciated and I will always make Enterprise my first choice.

I rented a RAM1500 truck a couple weeks ago just to go to DC from RDU. I signed up online, reserved, etc. Online gave me a total and when I returned the car it was much higher than what online said. I wish I could remember her name, but she was about 5'5"/5'6", slim, and had long hair, maybe twists in, or braids? I can't remember. But she was FABULOUS in helping make sure my total when I left was the same as what online had quoted me. She would not let me leave until I was completely satisfied. Absolutely will recommend people, and will come back. I've already let my mom know (she's a corporate travel agent) and hopefully word gets back to the nice girl who helped me. She was fantastic! GREAT job, Enterprise at RDU. You've got some great employees!
Very efficient which is normal. Can't remember if this is normal but the person who waited on me at counter and took me out to the car gave me his card. Almost needed to call but as it turned out did not. It was helpful to have his name and card rather than calling 800 number and having to go through the process of finding someone.

Excellent customer service. We arrived at about 5pm on Christmas eve. The staff was friendly, professional, and there were no issues with our reservation. I will rent from Enterprise every time I fly into RDU.
Everything was good but they charged me 3.38 dollar per gallon per fuel. This happened even when i was told on phone that i will be charged 2.5 dollar per gallon. In the end customer care modified it on call. Also they did not arrange a drop off.
I had to pay 20 dollars to taxi.
If I could rate my experience as a zero star I would. I drove up from Miami in a car that was having mechanical issues and was told this branch could change out my car. I was told all they could give me was a Nissan Frontier and to bring it back in a week and I could get another vehicle, well they lied and when I brought it back told me that the only way they would take their truck back and give me a different car was if I changed to a higher rate, even after I explained to these people that I have patients that I transport that have trouble getting in and out of this vehicle. I'll never do business with enterprise again!

This was the first time I ever rented a car and my first visit to the Raleigh/Durham area and it was a great experience. The car was perfect and the checking in and out went very quickly and professionally. At pick up the Associates were dressed for Halloween at it was fun.
The entire rental process and return process was the smoothest I have ever had. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous above expectations.

Super professional services, you need 10 min for pick up and 5 for delivery, they do not need any unnecessary deposits. They are my favorite in U.S.
We almost always rent from Enterprise. They are fast at picking you up, getting you a car, and checking you back in at the end. Their staff is slways friendly and fast. Prices are always very competitive and often the best.
