The folks at the RDU Enterprise location are alway...

The folks at the RDU Enterprise location are always so helpful and go above and beyond! The cars are ALWAYS clean and never smelly. If they don't have my vehicle they simply give me an upgrade. Always happy, seem to love their jobs, customer services is fantastic, we won't rent from anyone else when we fly into RDU!

After moving to Chicago from NC I travel back a lot to see friends and family. The enterprise at RDU is amazing- always super friendly and helpful. They do a great job explaining everything I need to know and I have always had a positive experience here (which is saying a lot because I use them very often)

The person who checked me in was great, but I was there because NONE of the branches in Durham (where I'd made my reservation) had any cars? I don't understand how that could be. And although I kept being sent to a hold message that bragging about their pick up service, it was impossible to reach this office to see about getting a ride.
I ended up with an upgrade because the first car the offered me (to drive RDU to Pittsburgh) didn't have cruise control. When I finally returned the car (after driving north to be with my mother as she died) they charged me more than $100 too much. I was completely worn down by then so ended up paying. They completely redeemed themselves by reaching out to me later and giving me the original price.

Recently rented a car from Enterprise at the airport in Raleigh, NC while we were home for the holiday. We were in and out of the office in a breeze and on our way, upgraded to a premium vehicle for the same price as the full size we had reserved. The staff was professional, friendly, and efficient as usual. Dropping off on our departure was just as easy. The shuttle van drivers were awesome! Very friendly and welcoming, professional and helpful. As a travel agent, I'm always watching to see what kind of service companies provide when I travel so I know how to advise my clients, and I ALWAYS recommend Enterprise! As a note of reference, I did not receive any type of compensation for this review, nor did I receive any travel industry discounts...they treated me the same as every other customer...exceptionally well!

They will try to scam you. Was asked when picking up the car if we wanted to pre-pay for gas with the current fuel price. We did this, not knowing they would charge us for FULL tank, even though it was half full when we returned the car. Very misleading, and was not told that up front. They will try to nickel and dime you, beware.

The good, the bad and the ugly.....

The good, the bad and the ugly.....
First time renting with Enterprise.
The Good: Very fast.... short line and got the car quickly. Car was clean inside and nice to drive. Easy return, quick and friendly.
The Bad: was not a full tank of gas when I checked out. No lights in parking area to check out car. Attendant seemed unorganized.
The Ugly: Since it was so dark, the attendant checked the car for defects with his cell phone as a light. Not very professional. Fortunately, he found the large scratch on the hood and supposedly marked it down. I signed the form kind of blindly the way it was presented to me.
Overall a good enough experience to go back. I know more of what to look for next time....

Got in Late evening. Only 1 person in desk to serv...

Got in Late evening. Only 1 person in desk to service 8 people. He had to walk outside with each person. So average was 10 minutes per rental.

Also Charged 4 Gallons for only 35 miles driven at 3.44 per gallon.

I didn't even notice the 8 Miles/Gallon setting for a mid-size car that averages 27+ MPH.

Car was fine, but service and pricing was ridiculous.

CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE LEAVING.

I give Enterprise 5 stars because they absolutely deserved it. Customer service was exceptional, management was understanding, and the selection of SUV's were great. I would recommend to anyone looking to rent in the near future.

I've used Enterprise multiple times in the Raleigh...

I've used Enterprise multiple times in the Raleigh-Durham area and am always impressed by the service, reliability, and consistently fair prices. Every car I have gotten has been either new or almost new and in great shape. They are also super transparent in their pricing and I don't have to fear any surprise charges on my bill! You guys are great!!

Very disappointed! My wife and rented a Ford Fies...

Very disappointed! My wife and rented a Ford Fiesta on Sept. 4 2016. Before we drove off, we noticed damage to the driver side mirror. We immediately notified the representative and he proceeded to document the damage in his notes. As soon as we got onto the highway we noticed a severe tire wobble. We then had to turn around and head back to Enterprise. They gave us a new car, but we ended losing a little over an hour. Over two weeks have gone by now, and we just received a letter in the mail informing us of damage to driver side mirror that we allegedly caused. Obviously you can understand how frustrating this would be for someone. I'll do whatever it takes to fight this completely false accusation! I will never do business with such a shady company ever again!

I booked a car for 2 days with the points I'm having. I return the car before the due period. In fact just used 5 hours in the second day and returned the car. But they gave me one day with my points and charged hourly for the 5 hours in the second day instead of redeeming the points I'm having. The manager asked me wait for few more days to get back my free day. But initially the staff response in the location is disrespectful.

They wouldn't let me rent a car because I didn't know my temporary license was expired which is fine, I understand that but I asked if my coworker could and they said yes. By the time I got back with my coworker they had given my reservation away. This was a horrible inconvenience and every employee was unpleasant, especially the blonde girl at the register who was very rude.

Have almost always had a wonderful experience with everyone at Enterprise, whether it's at pick-up or drop-off or reserving cars for numerous individual trips. Customer service is something they are doing right, and that is most important. Will always use Enterprise if available to me.

They didn't have what I reserved. Tried to upgrade...

They didn't have what I reserved. Tried to upgrade me to a sportscar or SUV. I reserved an economy for a reason! Then had to go back to find the key fob. It was under the passenger seat! Wow! Also was accused of smoking in the car! No, I stood next to the car to smoke! Just because you see that I'm a smoker doesn't mean I smoked in your car! North Carolina sucks!

Matthew listened to me when I dropped the car off! He was very understanding and asked how he could make my experience better. He took care of my gas and promised to look into the representatives that assisted me during check-in and my return to find the key fob. He seemed to understand my concerns about professionalism. I am currently very satisfied with Matthew and will definitely try their services again!

Super helpful. Major shoutout to Ms.Amber. Looooooooooong story short, car broke down, we live in SC, so we were stranded in NC over the weekend with no way home. I don t know have we would have done without her! Thank you Amber!!!!

The car that was given to me to drive was not cleaned very well. Seats were nasty with food between the seats even found a jar of shea butter under the seat...was kinda shocked. Other than that I did not like the fact that everytime you stopped the car it shut off. But that was a function on the Chevy equinox....will request a different car insted of the chevy..

I reserved a suv at this location. I landed at the airport and rode their bus directly to the office. They told me that I had already picked up my car. Turns out they let someone else rent a car under my name. I got another suv, but when my credit card bill came in I was charged for both. I talked with their customer service, nice person/waste of time for 15 min. Then they told me I had to talk to the branch. I called the branch. I had 4 separate conversations with a desk worker lasting over 1hr 10 minutes total. The location manager was supposed to call me but didn't. The area manager was supposed to call me but didn't. I finally got a refund for $273 the cost of the other person's suv rented on my credit card. Now 20 days later they have charged me again for something. Maybe I am lucky because this time it is only $128. I'm in Atlanta, I'm not even in Raleigh! The location manager still hasn't returned my call to now fix my new issue. You cannot contact any corporate office people for help either. Everything must be handled on the store level.

I hate to do this, but the recent incident is the reason for this bad review. I always rent car only from enterprise rent-a-car. The last time when I rented the car before dropping I left my GoPro in the car and it was mounted on the windshield of the car. When I checked with them next day morning the staff couldn't find it and I even checked the car myself as it was not cleaned yet. They couldn't find in the lost and found items as well. I am 100% sure that I left it in the car.

This Enterprise was so efficient , numerous people got off the bus with me at the airport , so I was dreading the line after 8 hours of flight delays, but the line moved with about 30 seconds to a minute per customer. Once I went out side the rep came up within less than 2 minutes , saw my face when he started walking to the truck I had reserved and asked if it was okay, he happily switched me to a mid size SUV , this is the best rental car experience I have ever had , on literally one of my worst travel days ever, and I do a quite a bit of business travel.

Service was great...personable, professional and speedy! Car was less than desirable...poor visibility to the point of safety concerns. I know you don't build them you just rent them but I would recommend omitting the Buick Verano from your fleet! Once again, associates and service were excellent!!

Enterprise is truly a professional company we've had several great experience. The vehicles they provided are usually in excellentl shape. We have always been greeted by friendly agents who usually help us enjoying our trip by providing us with the latest models of vehicles an up-to-date GPS. Incompetent & ignorant customer service at Fayetteville Airport desk. Rude just to be rude. Will lie to your face. Don't bother calling customer service either, they couldn't care less when/if anyone reaches you or solves your problem.

Love Enterprise. They introduce you to your car and explain the different features. Always courteous and flexible within reason in case I return my car slightly late, my car selection is unavailable and every once in a while they'll spring for gas for their recurring customers.

I was met and treated very well. The Enterprise Representative did a thorough explanation of their products / insurance offered. He then proceeded to show me the way to operate the GPS and controls which came in handy as I traveled in unknown areas over great distances. The Nissan Ultima I drove was comfortable and handled well, even with a full load. Very well pleased indeed, and when I checked the vehicle back in all went well and very quickly and the shuttle was right there to take me back to the airport promptly. A five star experience for sure, Yes indeed I enjoy using Enterprise and will do so again and will always recommend Enterprise to my family, friends and business associates. Yours Truly, MDW a very satisfied customer.

I've used Enterprise for a few years now and will probably use it again. But this rental was quite an experience - I checked the box for "you pick it" rather than signing up for a compact car and thinking perhaps I'll get an upgrade or just stick with the economy car. The young man who escorted me to the lot (at the Raleigh airport) was very cordial, but it was his first day on the job. After consulting with another Enterprise employee on the lot, he was told that I could have my pick of any pick-up truck! This was a bit surprising and certainly not what I expected. I did get used to the vehicle, but it was my first time driving a pick-up and the young man, well meaning to be sure, really didn't show me anything about the vehicle, and I could have used a bit of instruction. Perhaps I should have asked, but do think he might have taken some time to explain a few things rather than my having to learn 'on the job' so to speak. Otherwise the Chevy Silverado drove fine (a little sluggish for a V-8) and the return was a breeze. I think a little more training of new employees, or even having the new people accompany veteran employees, would make sense for Enterprise

DISHONEST EMPLOYEES + DISRESPECTFUL MANAGER (MATTHEW COOK)

Upon exiting the rental car at the RDU location, I notified the attendant (Brent) that I needed to retrieve my car that was parked across the street in the large parking deck. He told me to wait in the lobby and that someone will be there momentarily to take me to my car. A few moments later, they alerted me that the transporter had arrived and that I was "good to go."

Upon exiting the transporter's vehicle, he abruptly stopped me asking if I was going to pay him for his service or if Enterprise would. Without any hesitation, I told him that Enterprise would because I was under the impression that he was an Enterprise driver; more so, I thought he was telling a light-hearted joke but realized he was serious. He tried calling them but he did not have service in the parking garage so I called them from my phone.

The first representative that I spoke with asked me to provide her with the driver's name which I had trouble doing so as he was of foreign decedent and I could not interpret his name accurately. She then placed me on a long hold and when the hold was over, Brent, the attendant who I'd initially encountered was on the phone. He proceeds to tell me that he had called the taxi driver because I had requested him, by name. Stunned with the falsehood that he accused me of, I immediately asked to speak with his supervisor. I places on another lengthy hold and at this time, we had been in the parking garage for over 15 minutes which meant that a parking fee would be required upon exiting.

Matthew Cook, the branch manager, finally got on the phone asking me what was going on. At this point, I was certain that he had been informed of the incident but he insisted on hearing my "side of the story." I retold him the incident but now my top concerns were the blatant lies that Brent had told and the fact that I was completely cashless and had no way of paying the driver. Matthew explained that their procedure is to use the airport shuttle which I said would have been perfectly acceptable as I had no preference in the manner that I was transported to my vehicle. He then said that he was told that I contacted the driver on my own and proceeded speak to me in a condescending and disrespectful manner. During the conversation, he made statements such as, "oh no, I know Brent and he's a pretty honest guy," "it's just a $4 trip...you're making a big deal out of this," and "I'm now seeing what type of woman you are" until he finally hung up the phone on me. I URGE ENTERPRISE HOLDINGS TO RETRIEVE THE AUDIO FROM THE PHONE IF INDEED "THE CALL WAS MONITORED FOR QUALITY CONTROL PURPOSES."

I have always had a great experience with Enterprise Rentals and if i have any issue what so ever i am more than sure they will make it right. That's the kind of company they are. I bet i have rented about 400 vehicles from them.

The car performed well. But clearly the person before me was a smoker and they hadn't cleaned it. I had to windex in the inside of the windshield before driving and the steering wheel was sticky. In their defense they did discount the price after the fact. But i still had to drive the thing.

My first time with Enterprise because my employer switched from Avis to E. I was surprised how push the agents was in trying to get me buying extra insurance, even though from my profile it should be clear that I do not need that based the contract. Will go back to Avis for personal use.

Short rental. Their definition of midsize car is not what most people think. It was a tiny car. I asked if there was anything that could be done since I m 6 3 and they found me a better car. Nice employees always at this location at RDU

Overall. Great experience with the ease of the shuttle from the airport and the picking up and dropping off of the car. It was not appreciated that you did not have the car we ordered and gave us an upgrade which we did not want and also it had a half a tank of gas and we were rushed out that this was not physically checked so that was not a good thing. Bigger car means paying more for gas! Also being that we are a couple in our late 50's we are not use to driving cars with no keys so the fact that you can press a button and start the car is great but you should still hand us the keys and not throw them on the front seat only to find out when we got to the hotel that we were sitting on the keys the whole ride and had to call you to find out where the keys were. Just hand us the keys !
These little things being explained and taking the time are part of customer service that we did not see this time.

very disappointed this time......truck was very dirty on the outside, and after a pre inspection on the way out I saw a crack on the windshield that I photo documented just in case I got called out when I returned it. I wasnt unhappy with the vehicle performance.....great gas mileage! Was again disappointed when I returned the truck at 4AM, only to find that it doesnt open until 430....Thankfully the National/Alamo lot saw me waiting and took delivery......no one mentioned this to me when I got the truck even though I stated I would be returning it early in the morning.....

The staff was very professional , no complaints there....

We decided last minute to rent a car when we landed at Raleigh Airport. We were transported to the rental office and in our car unless than 30 minutes and got a free upgrade. It cost is less than 2 Uber rides back and forth to the airport to have a car for a couple of days!

Everything regarding this car rental was fine except that after I had left the airport and arriving at my hotel (10 miles away), I found that the vehicle's gasoline tank was only half full. I called the Enterprise office at the airport and informed the representative of the half tank of gasoline. She told me to only refill the tank for as much as I use. When I returned the rental car to the airport, I had actually refilled the tank to three quarters of a tank instead of the half tank that I received. Enterprise received a quarter of a tank at my expense. In the future, in addition for noting any body damage I will always check the gasoline gauge before leaving the rental facility.

Enterprise is the best - no matter where I go - they are kind, quick, efficient. They don t come across as pushy or rushing you. Easy to check in and easy to check out - if they are shuttling you the drivers are always great and helpful with luggage and seating! The cars are always in good shape - and if not - you can tell them you want something else and they don t mind finding something else for you! Always good tires and low miles on their cars.

Best experience with a car rental agency ever! Service was prompt, agents were friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Rates were excellent and the car was just wonderful. Pick up and return was easy peasy! They even offered me a ride home if I needed it. Will always use this Enterprise.

I Went to Enterprise since Hertz did not let me take car out of NC to MIA one way ?
Due to Covid-19 I got my Enterprise rental thru the National counter at RDU and all went extremely well the service was fast efficient and I felt VERY SAFE.
A day later I realized that my trip will take me an 6h so I called Enterprise to let them know and see if charges could be pro rated by hours like Hertz A manager will call you I was told but no one did call back and was charged for an other full day. A bit sad went to NC to drop my son to college with/a cargo van from Hertz since they DONT CHARGE FOR MILES as Enterprise does and want it to came back driving as I didn t feel comfortable flying down.
Hope Hertz stays in business

The rental car was great. Enterprise picked me up ...

The rental car was great. Enterprise picked me up in a shuttle from the airport curb-side and brought me to the lot where the staff made check out fast, quick and convenient. Drop off was the same process in reverse and the shuttle was already waiting to take me back the terminal. Very happy with my experience and Enterprise. Would use again and recommend.

I use this location monthly. Very nice folks, but they never have the car I have reserved available. Never. Have also seen a few times when it will obviously be busy and they just are not staffed enough. Bus drivers are all around the nicest on the planet save one woman, but overall I like the company better than others.

Can't recommend it highly enough. the staff was friendly, professional, accommodating and super efficient. Brianna was the main person i dealt with and she was FANTASTIC! She saw it was my birthday the next day and upgraded us to a really fabulous car that my kids flipped for. couldn't have been a better experience. I will only use Enterprise from now on!

Prior to going to pick up the rental car, I called the 800 customer service number several times to make sure that no additional charges would be placed on my card once I picked up the car. However, when I got to the enterprise location they told me I would have to pay my rental car amount PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $200! I informed the enterprise people that not one person I spoke with over the phone relayed this information and it was an inconvenience to me as a customer to not know this large amount of extra money would be coming out of my account. Per the enterprise people at the pick up location: this became effective in March of this year. I voiced to them that they needed to inform their customer service phone reps about this information because it was not relayed to me and it would have been nice to not be hit with any extra added money prior to my vacation! The people at enterprise did say that the extra $200 would be refunded to my card immediately upon return; however, I returned the car on Monday evening and it is not Tuesday night and I still do not have my $200 back to my credit card! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RENTING THROUGH ENTERPRISE! lots of hidden fees and horrible customer service upon pick up!

I had rented a pick up truck due to the low rate compared to other vehicle types. When I got to the center, the customer service rep asked if I wanted a different vehicle at the same price. He was friendly and helpful and it was nice that Enterprise "does what's right" for the customer, not just for them. I ended up in a small SUV (way better than the truck I rented). My experience was excellent....I've had nothing but good experiences with Enterprise and would recommend them to anyone needing car rental services.

I rented from Enterprise at RDU and the customer s...

I rented from Enterprise at RDU and the customer service on site was good. The car, however was not. I rented a luxury car and I got a Cadillac XTS which should be a luxery car. It was loud (lots of road noise) much louder than my 2006 F150 with all terrain tires. I also wanted XM satellite radio and after 4 calls to customer support I just gave up on that because it would never work. I then decided to stream music from my phone which proved to be a very difficult task as well. The vehicle infotainment system would not recognize my phone as an audio imput even though I was connected and talking to customer service on the Bluetooth from the car. I was truly disappointed in the vehicle that I received and the inability of customer service to rectify the issues. I took time from my getaway to speak to customer support 4 times and I had to use my data to stream music from my phone to have the experience that I wanted on my getaway, incurring more cost. Enterprise did remove the XM from my rental bill, but I was still very disappointed with this rental experience.
