I was given a clean auto in Short Order after after horrible experience with Hertz at RDU.I have rented many autos from Enterprises and the Hertz mess up was due to Expedia.
Made a reservation for an SUV made a reservation for an SUV online. Got there to pick up my car and because Snow was in the projected forecast, they said they weren t going to give me an suv and less I was willing to pay an additional $40 a day for the car. On top of it, charged LARGE fee to drop off the car at a different enterprise. Customer service was poor poor poor here.
The staff was very friendly and having the shuttle bus take us back and forth from the airport was great. (don't get the GPS, Garmin though, it only worked half of the time).
I enjoy making my reservation and picking up the car. I m in and out 10 minute s tops return process is excellent. Only problem is no overnight parking. You have to park in the parking deck costing more money.
Over all the RDU location is excellent. Very quick and proficient.
I always rent from Enterprise. They are professional and efficient from the courtesy bus transport to the rental agents. This is in fact the case at RDU for sure. And, return process from directions to drop off expedite you back to your flight.
Bus took about 15 minutes to arrive at terminal. Arrived mid afternoon with 4-6 people on bus. Staff was not ready for 10 mins. Kiosk was not operating. Once we walked out to cars, many were "allocated" or being repositioned to sell so cars had to be found by associate which took another 5-10 mins. All in all very frustrating.
Unfortunately my last rental experience wasn't a very good one. There was an ant infestation in the car. I'm assuming the detailers did not do a good job of cleaning it prior to my rental because as soon as the temperature increased and army of ants made their appearance. I wasn't able to get another car so I purchased some inspect kiler and had to drive the car from VA Beach back to RDU airport. When I arrived back at Enterprise none of the things that they agent mentioned I would receive for my trouble were implemented. In the end I spoke with the manager and they took off 1 rental day and didn't charge me for gasoline?... I'm still waiting for the additional points on my account so that I can get a free rental on my next visit.
Great service and quick. A little confusing on where to go but that was ok. It was not clear how to get there from the airport and added another hour to my jet lag.
excellent service, price was fantastic, checking vehicle out and checking vehicle in was fast. the two ladies I dealt with were sweet and kind (easy on the eyes too).....two thumbs up !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the use of technology to save paper and conserve resources by having my contract emailed to me. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Enterprise is my preferred choice when renting a vehicle and you have never disappointed.
Like I stated before, we travel a lot and so we rent vehicles from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Our experience with them is always professional, prompt and courteous. Cars are always clean and almost new looking. If there is a problem, which is very rear, it is always a speedy recovery on the issue at hand. Our flight got in 40 minutes early. The shuttle was prompt, clean, and large enough to get everyone waiting. Our agent Adrienne was very helpful with not only use but everyone ahead of us. She was able to triage and address everyone's individual needs. She pulled our car around for us too. Thanks for a great experience. This is why we are loyal to the brand. National is a partner at that airlort and they let you drop off cars there if you cant do it when they are open.
I returned the vehicle early. There was writing on the window, the gas tank was on half when I first got in the vehicle, and something was wrong with it so whenever the headlights were on there would be a constant 'ding' sound that kept going off to alert me. The car's engine was extremely loud and there was a stall whenever I pulled off from a red light. Also, the vehicle dashboard was showing that the oil life was on 0% so it made alerts for that as well. The gentleman who assisted me in taking me to the chosen vehicle was pleasant, outside the fact that he attempted to up-sell me at every turn. I was not particularly upset with that as I know it's his job, but it did get rather taxing. They agreed that I could return the vehicle on half, which I did and I have yet to receive any fee's for that, which is less than I can say for another rental company. When I rent a vehicle, i'm renting under the impression that I will get a reliable car with no unforeseen issues. That was not the case this time around. None of the employees were unpleasant, but I'm sure they knew the issues the vehicle had before they decided to rent it out. Solid 3 stars.
No matter what time of the day I call nobody answers the phone that keeps ringing until it gets cut off. I have been trying to contact this branch for 4 days now to get assistance for my August 6 travel. I have a drop off and I have no info!
I had a great experience with Enterprise. The shuttle from the airport went well, the sales staff was friendly, and I never felt pressured to purchase 'more stuff.' I was given an economy car with only 50 miles on it. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I would certainly use them again whenever I fly to Raleigh. Thank you.
I usually cant say i would give something 5 stars but above all this was earned. I was in an out in no time, so fast that i had to set a min to make sure everything was good on my part before leaving. My best shuttle experience i have ever had i can't remeber her name but she made the trip enjoyable both times.

Great experience at Enterprise/RDU Airport this week. I needed a minivan to move my daughter home from college for the summer and decided to rent a minivan. I booked a reservation by phone a couple of hours before, showed up at the facility a little late and was on my way in a brand new Dodge Caravan in under 15 minutes.
I have not rented a car in a while and was wowed by the quick process, and the lack of the ten mile thermal printer paper contract. My rep walked my out to the lot, asked what color I wanted, had me sign a couple of spots on a tablet and sent me on my way. Great job, Enterprise!
Booked on travelocity for the airport. Went to get the car and the price was more than double. Said the reservation was for a different store and would not honor the price. Never again
We reserved an SUV and were free upgraded to a minivan with only 30 miles on it. We enjoyed the extra space and had no problems with the brand new vehicle. BUT the representative did NOT inform us that it was an E85 vehicle. I have never driven a vehicle with that type of fuel and had difficulty finding that fuel. I ended up calling the airport rental office and was told I could also use reg unleaded fuel. I am encouraging you to reinforce with your reps to include that information when checking out E85 vehicles.
Start to finish... excellent customer service! The car size (probably economy) my employer chose wasn't available, so free upgrade it was. I wasn't expecting a beast like a Pathfinder (for just me) but I also didn't want to wait. Dropping it off was quick and easy... much less time than I was expecting (and they were busy). Thank you!
The customer service rep that checked me in was super helpful and awesome. I will give her a 5 star rating. But when I got into my rental car, I was concerned about how often or when the cars are cleaned on the inside. I didn't notice the trash until I was off the lot. There was trash in the front passenger seat, trash on the floor behind the passenger seat, and food and trash under the arm rest.
Dropped car, realized I left an item at a restaurant down the road. They wouldn't help me out, give me car back, or give me a lift to restaurant 5min down the road. Said Uber was my only option. Small acts of customer service goes a long way! Not to mention I watched them drive the rental I just returned off the lot to go get gas.
My Enterprise rental at RDU worked OK but there were periodic alarms that the crash avoidance software had a malfunction. When I brought it back they said they know about the problem and are going to fix it.
quick service, seem to understand people are in a hurry so they hustle. explained rules briefly which was fine with me, some may prefer more detailed info. car was "clean" by a teenager's standards, wiped over, clean enough, but inside windshield was dirty and hard to see out of at night.
Overall good experience and excellent friendly service at the desk. Only thing I would suggest is to make it more convenient when there are going to be 2 drivers, rather than having us both have to be present at the time the rental car was picked up. Would have been much more convenient to allow the 2nd driver to provide identification at their local Enterprise office in advance, so I could pick up the car myself. Other than this inconvenience, great experience.
We have rented here 3 times with a bad experience each time. The first time they had the order incorrect and after much aggravation fixed it. We had to continually fill the tire up with air. All 3 times the vehicle was filthy to the point we had to clean it ourselves. The second time the gas was left below 3/4 and I had to fill it to full. The third time the vehicle was so disgusting dried up food in cup holder left over food under back seat. The third time it was dirty and the vehicle was supposed to be blue but was brown because so dirty. People were nice the sevice wasn t very good.
Vehicle was ready early. Had to change pickup time and the reservation was changed easily with no problems. Would have appreciated a lower rate due to the extended usage and multiple vehicles rented, however, overall satisfied. Kept Premium SUV for 2 weeks and had no issues.
Arrived President's Day weekend for a funeral. FREEZING cold for Raleigh. Staff very helpful. Shuttle drivers assisted with baggage. Line in office was long, but moved quickly. Agent explained all options available for gas, insurance,etc. and was not pushy on trying to get extras.
Car selection from booking was ready. Car in excellent condition inside and out.

I reserved a car online - without putting any money down - and the car was ready for me when I arrived at RDU airport. The car was a newer model, clean, very fun to drive Toyota. Service was quick and easy, I was on the road within 15 minutes of landing at the airport. I also am 24 and I initially chose enterprise because they have a low 'underage' fee. Everything was great!

Very easy car rental...however you could put the original amount you held on my CC back on my card a bit quicker since the actual charge hit as well...it took like 5 days.

Everything was clean and we were treated very professionally at the RDU Airport, we returned the car at another location, with no problem. We will definitely use enterprise anytime we need to rent a car.
I rented a KIA SOUL for the day and of course when I get there they have none available.. so Im given a cheap car that costs less than what I chose to rent at NO discount to me. Then I am given a receipt for $70 and a few days later I see that my credit card was charged for $95, the car was full on gas and no damages, so im sure its just them cheating over a customer once again. I will not be using enterprise again.
Car was fine. Lots of companies the cars were fine. This site was great because of the people. Friendly, helpful, etc. All that they should have been. A minor fault with the car, and they addressed it quickly and well.
On returning the car, they we quick and friendly, and the manager was great.
I travel all the time, and can rent from any company, but choose Enterprise for the people.
The wait at the counter was less than many in line expected, since there were many people and only one clerk. Those who used the kiosk seemed frustrated that it took so long.
The young lady who took us to our car strong-armed me about getting more insurance, which I declined as always.
I got the car through Allegiant, which was a mistake, because I thought I was getting a better deal. I still had to pay $50 more when I turned in the car. $310 for 4 days seems a bit much to me? I'll know better next time.

I had a long wait on line to first register for my car. There was only one person working the computer, while a second person was standing around speaking with the worker. Once I got through that line, I had to wait through another long line to get my car. It seemed that the "personal service" of taking one to the assigned car was just a way to try to upsell the customer. Some customers took a long time speaking with the representative, which I assumed was their way of further selling to the customer. This was confirmed when it was my turn. At least when it was clear that I wasn't interested in upgrading for my 10 mile roundtrip ride, they let me go quickly. The return was quick and fine though. However, I do not plan on using enterprise again.
When i arrived the rep provided me a car with stains on the inside roof and on seats. I had to go back and request a different car. It seemed like they were reluctant to change it out. I showed them the stains in the car and they quickly issued me a different one. I use Enterprise quite frequently. This was the 1st car i had recieved in this condition. I rented this car right after the stay at home order for COVID19 was lifted. They had a bunch of cars on the lot. How is it I get this one in this condition. Its not like they were short on vehicles.
This was as good of an encounter as you could have at a car rental agency. We were the sole customers in the building and we greeted with a line of employees with big smiles and friendly chit chat. Our reservation was for a luxury vehicle and we were given our choice of basically anything on the lot. The return was quick and we were whisked away in the courtesy van with time to spare for our flight. Thank you to all who contributed a flawless experience.
