I often rent from Enterprise and I always get a very good service from all the personnel in the different locations. This rental in RDU was a short one (1 day). The only problem was that the car was not in good shape as I usually get; it was not as clean as usual and a little smelly. No big deal for such a short use. Would have asked for a different car if I had to keep it longer.

Everything was great. I did over estimate how much gas I would use so I pre-paid a lot for a 1/4 tank of gas. But the convenience of not worrying about did help. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle was nice and timely. Shuttle from airport to the lot was super full and the driver, who I want to say was named Dave or Roger (I know those are super different names) wrangled the bags to make sure we all got on.
I rent cars every week and wouldn't choose anyone but enterprise. Professional and reliable. I used to use Dollar, but the quality of their cars and customer service is not good at all.
I was 10th in line with one rep at the counter which was very concerning, but no need to worry. The young man at the counter was very efficient and the line moved surprisingly fast. I was ushered outside where a personal assistant took me to my car. Although he tried to get me to upgrade and buy additional coverage I didn't want, I was on my way pretty quickly. It was a good experience overall. I returned the car to an Enterprise location in LaFollette, TN. They should take lessons from the RD Airport. That experience would get a #2 rating.
The vehicle which was a Buick Casada convertible was a great car that received a lot of compliments on our trip. The rental agency was another issue when the agent who was extreme nice but did not know how to operate the vehicle options. I had to return inside to find someone to help us. The car windows were filthy and on our trip I had to stop and buy glass cleaner so I could see in the sun. The car made our trip to North Carolina a memorable one we will not forgot.
Enterprise is the WORST PLACE to rent cars from, especially this location. For my best friends wedding, we reserved a car to travel to the wedding. There were 8 of us bridesmaids who wanted to drive down there together. We particularly asked for an SUV that has 8 seats and the employee said he will give one that fits our needs. We paid extra for the car we requested and yet it turned to be the exact opposite. We tried reaching out to enterprise customer service to swap out the car, but no use, everyone just took down the complaints and stored them in their database and did nothing about it. We wasted about 6 hours of our time for this and we even drove to a few nearby locations to swap out the car and get what we paid for but that was a waste of time as well. For instance, one representative said you need to call customer service and reserve a car and we called up customer service and tried to reserve a car at the location nearby but instead they reserved a car at a different location and we found this out once we reached the location to pick up the car. At that point we were very frustrated and lost so much time we will never get back during one of the most memorable days of our life.
I always find the people working at Enterprise nice to deal with. They always seem to be on top of their game. They only reason I don't give them a 5 star rating is because this location never has the car I actually reserve and always questions my upgrades.
They Are Always Very Friendly & They Even Wished Me Happy Birthday As It Was My Birthday The Day We Picked Up The Van. All Of The Vehicles We Have Rented From Enterprise Have Always Been Clean & Newer Models & Have Always Ran Well.
Staff were when i rented and returned to address my concern. Firstly i got the car with Check Engine and low engine oil condition car, which is not expected from Enterprise car rentals. Staff their changed the car for me but again the other car also had few problems which made my vacation horrible.
Lastly i accidentally forgot one of my valuables in car and called back the RDU enterprise, one of the staff member answered and said found nothing and hang over the phone.
Overall i had a bad experience with RDU Enterprise.
My car was upgraded at my request and I had excellent service all the way through my visit. Car was a Niassan Maxima (?) and it was a nice ride with heated seats.
Very good attention from their representatives, vehicle rentals are fast and at a reasonable price within the reach of each person and the delivery is just as fast
Although my check in was plagued by computer problems, the staff went above and beyond to make my and other's experience to be as painless as possible.
I was having a bad day, from having a blow out on my car to locking myself out of my house. I went to enterprise at RDU airport, and the Gentleman there were in such great spirits, and I told them this was my worst day, and they say that NO, it's a good day. Very professional, Very polite, Very informational. They are so customer friendly and I hadn't had an experience like that in a while, So I just want the guys to know that I really appreciate the uplift and the customer services that provided.
We messed up on our reservation, but when we got the airport the Enterprise staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were able to get us the original vehicle we had requested. Would definitely recommend using them.
The service is excellent but if you shop around you can get much better prices from other places they are usually one of the higher-priced ones out there
Very pleasant staff at the location, courteous and helpful as always, fast service, no problems. Thank you. I am a long time satisfied user of Enterprise
They didn't have many full-size cars the guy didn't seem to care much I just felt like walking away I probably will not go back there.
I have spoken with Enterprise and they where very nice and help me after my bad experience with them. They really want you to have a excellent experience with them I will be going back.
Very hit or miss on the cars. Lots of them smell of smoke. If the cars windows are down when you're selecting, you'll know that one was smoked in. My last rental had 40k miles on it, a check engine light & a vibration coming through to the steering wheel while on the highway.
Great experience. Super friendly and quick staff. I did the advanced check in and gave as much info as I good before arriving. I was in the office for no longer than 3 minutes and in my car in 5. Very impressed. Return was even easier, even at 11:00 PM.
The car was clean and drove nicely. I had only two complaints. The first one was the wiper blades were streaking during heavy rain and the second was the front radar system kept malfunctioning every five minutes. The warning beep was annoying. As for the wiper blades, I put them on high and got into the far right lane and drove 5 miles below the speed limit to maintain at least a degraded viability.
At my request I was provided a truck which had approximately 1,000 miles on it. I thought well this is good, because a wanted to take a bed mattress set to my beach house. Only problem was that the one I was given was not clean. The seat has something on it that look like tar and the carpet on the floor (driver's side) turned my white tennis shoes black. The bed of the truck looked as if someone had hauled asphalt driveway patch and it had not been cleaned. When I got home, I was able to clean the seat and floor carpet with starter fluid and carpet cleaner. Starter fluid is great for cleaning oily surfaces if you have open air space.
When I returned the vehicle to another location, the attendent was late and told me he would have to sign in and he would send me an electronic receipt. I waited two days and received nothing. I became fearful that he had not checked me in and the meter was still running on the rental. I called a local friend who works for Enterprise in another city and he was able to verify that the vehicle was checked in, but I still don't have an electronic one week later. So much for friendly customer service.
Even though it was a very busy time, the team went to great strides to ensure my experience was great. The car I wanted was not there at the time so they made a quick adjustment and got me out in minutes. My family certainly appreciated the convenience and it made our whole trip an excellent experience!
So far, the customer service stinks. I have attempted to call the number (provided here) at least 6 times, only to be connected and then disconnected (@30seconds into the connection) before even speaking to anyone. Not a good way to begin.
What a great experience! I was given exceptional customer service throughout my rental process and, even when my flight was cancelled and I had to drive it to Baltimore, they completely understood and helped me in any way they could. As a 'seasoned' traveler with experience in renting cars, I can say with confidence that Enterprise is the best rental car location at RDU.
I asked Milton can I switch out my vehicle because the bright lights didn t work. He told me that they jumped out at him in the day time. I m actually in the car at night and no bright lights. He refused to switch me out. I m used to exceptional customer service from Enterprise no matter the state or city. Ralieigh has the worst location I ve ever been too. I ve never NOT been accommodated. I ve been renting from enterprise since 2013 and this is the first time I ve ever put turned away and was called a lier also because he didn t believe me when I said the bright lights didn t work. I ll continue to be a loyal customer but I will never rent or patronize in branches in Ralieigh NC.
Picked up mini-van noticed a little smell but didn t think much about it. After in car for 30 minutes smell was getting stronger. When I picked up my family and they got in back seat and closed sliding door they found several empty cups and trash in door. The back of the front seats were sticky and trash in the floor on third row. Smell was so bad by then I picked up some fabreeze, had to spray seats and carpet every day. When I arrived at my sons military base 3 hours later we had to show proof of rental agreement. I was told by enterprise when I picked up van the agreement would be emailed to me. No email, called customer service told them I could not get in gate until I received agreement. They contacted Raleigh enterprise and said it would be emailed immediately. Waited but no email called customer service again still no email. I did receive other emails from enterprise during the week so they had the right address. Never received agreement email until I turned van in and discussed situation with rep, Received it immediately... Complained to rep about smell and trash, no apologies just said he just reduced cost by 10%!! I guess that s business as usual for Enterprise.
Hardly any wait at the counter. Everybody was pleasant and polite. No pushing for upgrades or extras. Had to wait for a car but when the class I rented wasn't available they gave me a free upgrade! Car was clean and new. Return was fast. Almost all Enterprise rental car branches are reliable but really liked this one. I will definitely rent from them again since I plan on returning to RDU frequently in the future.
I ve never used Enterprise before. When I arrived, the agent was well groomed, attentive, polite and fast. He walked me to the car and made sure I was satisfied. Check in was the same. Quick, attentive and polite. All were in jacket and ties. VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF. Unbelievable experience. I will definitely use Enterprise again! Well done!!
I have found the staff at this location to be especially professional, & accommodating - and to really go out of their way for customer satisfaction. I travel full time for business, and I appreciate the great service!
Arrived at RDU last night and had the worst experience with an employee named Jade. She couldn't have been more rude and unprofessional. The gentlemen at the gate named Tyrese was the only professional employee we encountered the whole evening. I have grown to expect more from Enterprise through my patronage over the years and was seriously let down. This was our second rental with Enterprise at RDU this summer and we certainly will not be going back!
Fast service, much better than others at RDU. Friendly rep, and got to choose my car. My multiple experiences at RDU over the last few years have largely consisted of very slow service from other companies.
Upon arrival in the office to pick up my rental, for sum reason there was a problem with my reservation. The young man that assisted me, corrected the problem with an ease and I was on my way afterwards. Much appreciated for the patience in resolving the situation
I was truly impressed with Nicholas Watson s driving commitment to excellence. I am sure his manner of facilitating the pros and cons of which car to select will prove to be profitable in his future endeavors.
There are many proficient and dedicated employees at Enterprise Rental Car and there are also employees who because of their commitment must be considered outstanding. In my judgment, Nicholas is by far proficient, outstanding and dedicated to whatever he commits himself. Leadership, responsibility and commitment were qualities that I observed in my brief introduction with Nicholas, which are evidenced by his performance.
A quote I once heard states, There are three kinds of people in this world, people who make things happen, people who let things happen and people and people who watch things happen. Nicholas Watson definitely makes things happen. Self-initiative is a quality he possesses because he initiated professional conversation and treated us as professionals. Responsibility appears to be a highlight in his life because he took time to respond to my email, even though he was not on duty. In my observation, every aspect of my visit was meticulously handled by Nicholas in a professional manner. I am so happy my daughter and I were assigned the right person to make us feel home away from home as well as welcome us to Raleigh.
Thank you for hiring such a wonderful people person at Enterprise.
Representative was courteous and willing to share information on other vehicles I qualified for upon my arrival. After checking out and being handed car keys, I realized I forgot to add a driver. The second representative was just as courteous as the first, and handle my contract with with the same quality.
I got a cheaper rate at another car rental place and thought great deal..NOT i ended up standing in line for 20 minutes for them to not take my card because i didnt have a license in that state. Of course not dummy i flew here.... i called enterprise ...which by the way i use everytime i travel.... and in 5 min had a car booked. Walked over to the office which was next door to the crappy car rental place and in 5 more minutes i was in my car driving off. You truly get what you pay for and in this case crappy rental car place gave me nothing. Enterprise to the rescue again..... thanks. The staff was very professional also. I love great customer service and i get it everytime i use enterprise.
disappointing experience-planned to borrow a "standard" car for two weeks, but the car was way to small; so i returned after to days and went with a different company who gave me a bigger car for less money
Service was great and personable. Car exterior couldn t be washed due to cold weather, no big deal. However, the inside was dirty, stuff on seats, smelled like smoke and had trash left inside.
Process was very quick upon car pickup and return. Attendant gave us choice of cars in the intermediate range. Reservation process thru Costco worked great. No complaints at all. Will use Enterprise again on my next trip.
I have been renting cars from enterprise for years, I have no complaint about their website, shuttles, or check in personnel. I do find complaint with the "middle man" that actually puts you in your car in the lot. I had a reservation dating back to January, just flew across the whole country with two children, and had to endure a young man up selling me to the point of him begging. Enterprise, you are mostly everything I need in a rental car company, train your front end folks a little better though.
Absolutely fantastic experience! I appreciated the very helpful and friendly Staff. And the entire process, from Airport shuttle, rental, and return, was so easy. I will continue to use Enterprise each time I travel.
The customer service was exemplary from beginning to end. The vehicle was clean and ready when I arrived to pick it up. The return process was smooth and easy. I would rent from Enterprise again.
We rented a vehicle for a golf trip and the entire way to the car we were pushed to upgrade. Upon receiving the car it smelled horrifically like cinnamon mixed with cigarette smoke. When we turned the AC on it smelled far worse to the point we couldn't use it and my hair smelled of smoke. I think it's unacceptable to reuse a car that smells this horrible when we paid $500-ish for it.
Upon returning the car, the service was great and the gentleman stated he couldn't believe it either and offered $50 back.
Bad staff. they don't treat corporate customers well.. Corporate policy of renting cars are very different and their negotiating and contracting just keeps enterprise in the business.. Once they get the business you are done, they don't care about your concerns. They don't have new models and you end up getting old models thats not even serviced properly.
they don't treat customers in a good manner . Only if you paying out from your pocket they really care about you.. very bad customer service i would recommend any other rental car company not enterprise.
Please ask your staff to be courteous to all customers. !!
Very professional team. They ran out of middle size cars, but they gave me a full size for the same price. Rental rates very reasonable. I'd definitely rent again with them. Good Job, keep it up!
At pickup, the experience was phenomenal. But when I checked out, they charged me for the upgrade they said that were providing for no extra charge and charged 44% higher in refueling the car than what they said they would if I didn't return it full. In the sales persons words, if you want to return it empty, our gas cost is $.10 less than gas in the surrounding area. Again, great service but poor follow-through on what they said I would be charged. Still waiting to see if they are going to adjust the charges...
I love Enterprise...I travel a lot for work and their customer service is always excellent and consistent no matter where you are. Their cars are always top notch and they make it easy to get in and out.
Everyone was very courteous and professional. The only reason I did not give five stars was because of the time I spent waiting to get the car. I had to wait for almost 45-60 minutes to get on my way. Not too bad but I believe this number can be further minimized with more efficient management of the employees. I noticed some employees running around and working hard whereas others were doing everything slowly. The return process was extremely fast and convenient. Only the obtaining process was slow.
The customer service at this location is awful. The agents working at this location are not friendly at all. They seem to be working for the sake of it and not putting efforts to be friendly and modest with the customers. Their behavior is rude and I experienced this two times in the past 4 months. I will not consider renting at this enterprise location ever . I will probably consider another rental car agency at rdu in future
Shuttle was quick from airport. Barely had to wait a few minutes. Line at check in counter moved fast and the location was staffed well to deal with high volume. My reservation was for a full size vehicle and they gave me a compact. On top of that the car I got was not thoroughly cleaned inside after the last rental.
Had to wait to talk to a manager who was professional and apologized for the oversight. He said he was going to take this instance as a training opportunity for his staff. He also gave me free tank of gas.
After a long and stressful travel day, the staff here not only tolerated my grumpiness but repeatedly went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. It's rare to find such professional and caring staff in the rental car business. They hired some good people here. I hope the rest of Enterprise locations take notice.
I really can't understand why windows, especially the windshield, can't be clean. In my last 2 rentals with Enterprise it was the case. It turns an otherwise reasonable experience into a negative one. The details are important.
staff were extremely helpful and even though I had originally wanted a compact car they had given me an SUV for the same price due to the fact they had run out of the smaller cars! great service!
Recently rented through the airport location in Raleigh. I was sure I would be there all day when I walked into a full waiting area, but I was called to the counter in less than 10 minutes. Malik checked me out efficiently, and Casey had me in a car and driving away almost immediately. The whole process took less than 20 minutes and was marked by helpful and professional staff. Would definitely recommend.
Once again we had a good experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Raleigh, NC. Their customer service is always great and they are very efficient. We got a nice upgrade since they didn't have a car ready in the class that we had reserved. The only problem that we've been having with Enterprise in many different cities is that they do not pay enough attention to cleaning the interiors of their rentals. Just a little interior cleaning would have given them that extra star, but that has not been happening in the rentals that we have been receiving. Other than that we love their service and enjoy their great customer service.
