My experience with the Enterprise car at RDU was quite different than my usual experience. I was given a Toyota corolla with almost 32,000 miles. The car was wet but not clean. I had to borrow a towel and clean the windows myself. The rear tires were almost bald, and the engine in this car sounded like it was going to fail at any moment. The floorboard driver side carpet was badly ripped. And to top it off, the person to whom I returned the car did not appreciate my comments about the experience.

I always rent from Enterprise! I didn't like the first 2 cars offered during my latest trip to Raleigh. Instead of being irritated, the agent Don wanted me to be happy and gave me a free upgrade, too. Fast service, friendly people. I like that they always check the car with the customer. Thx!
It was great service all around. I had to come back before my flight out because I had left something inside my rental car and the sales associate was nice enough to run to the other side of the lot tor retrieve it for me.
I have used Enterprise for years! Thank goodness for the RDU team when I needed a vehicle on Sunday! Bryce was personable and helpful, and the experience was once again, fast and efficient.
DISAPPOINTING, is an understatement. Would like to speak with management at RDU airport location and Jacksonville location. Both were lacking and sub-par. I've been a loyal customer of Enterprise for years, may need to reconsider.
Getting the vehicle was quick, easy, and no hassle; the fastest I ve ever experienced and staff was friendly. However, the return was horrible and because of that unfortunately, I will never use Enterprise at that particular airport.
I have been using Enterprise for several years and have always found their service and prices to be great. A few years ago I got a deal from another company and tried them out but that was a mistake. I highly recommend Enterprise.
The Young man who assisted us on our entry into Durham at enterprise Rent-A-Car, was the best employee We have ever dealt with at enterprise, a company known for its excellent service!
MAYBE if they ever answer their phone, THEY CAN actually provide service. Called for 30 min, no answer..... and they have another 30 min before closing. Maybe their phone lines don't work.... or they don't care to have service. Ridiculous!
I rented a car for less than a 24-hour span to visit my family when I was in Raleigh and the entire staff at Enterprise did a great job. I was very pleased with the response time and the fact that I was trying to get in and out of the facility quickly.
They did a great job and I would definitely rent from them again.
I had to rent two cars this weekend and first was Enterprise where I was greeted by a gentleman named Patrick who allowed me to pick my car immediately. Very nice man who gave excellent customer service. The second car I rented through Avis. The agent did not greet me with any respect after I waited in line for 45 minutes...Then it took another 20 minutes for them to sort out which car to give me...NEVER GO TO AVIS IN RDU. Stick with Enterprise!!

Very friendly staff. They understand you are traveling, so they do everything in their power to make sure you are in and out of the facility in a timely manner. Great vehicle selections that are pretty decently clean when you receive the vehicle.
Got a rental car for 2 days originally was going to drop the car at another location. Kept car for 2 days and they tried to charge me $200 for 2 days on a compact car. Scammers. Stay away from this location
First Intermediate SUV - labeled "Recalled" Second - strong smoke stench Third - 2 door Jeep - very difficult to install a carseat Fourth and final - had just been returned, got run through the car wash and smelled of smoke... The staff was the best thing about this location.
The rental car was nice and everything went as planned. I had an issue when I returned the car. I had an Enterprise Gift Card I wanted to use towards the rental fee and I was told I was unable to use the Enterprise Gift Card when I returned the vehicle which was highly upsetting as it would of covered a good portion of the charges. She said I needed to enter it when I made the reservation however there was no payment information or gift card field available when I reserved the vehicle through the Enterprise App.
Fantastic customer service at the RDU Airport! Process to pick up and return the car was quick and easy and all staff we encountered were top notch. They went above and beyond to find an item I left in the car and brought it to me at the airport. I wish I had her name, but THANK YOU!! Would definitely recommend Enterprise.
The great price I was able to get online encouraged me to book from Enterprise instead of my usual agency. I received excellent service from the shuttle driver through to the helpful fellow who took care of the paperwork. The car was very nice and the check in and ride back to the airport was as easy as everything else. I will book from Enterprise again as a result.
AWESOME service. I flew into RDU for work and needed to drive to New Bern, and the employees at this Enterprise were just great. Super friendly and accomadating. I reserved a mid-size and ended up getting a free upgrade to a camry/impala (I picked the camry). The reservation was a bit pricey ($80/day + 10 underage + 10 gps), but my company is paying so I guess I can't complain. Returning the car was a breeze, too. The lady was at my car checking me out even before I exited the vehicle, and the shuttle driver was standing there ready to load my luggage. Perfect and seamless!
I went to pick up my vehicle at the RDU location, and had mistakenly set up my reservation for the enterprise in Morrisville. They would not honor the price that I had originally booked the vehicle. My rate was $25 more per day. I was not happy about this. This led me to only keeping the car for a shorter period of time due to increased costs.
Anytime that I rent a rental vehicle, I usually rent from Enterprise. I also used to be a Enterprise employee while in college. This was the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service experience I have ever had with a company. Everything was rushed and it seems as if they were just there to get me off the lot and get me in and out of the car instead of taking time to hear my needs. I have called the manager three times and also emailed him and have yet to hear back from him. This has been almost a week with no response whatsoever!

The car was fantastic but when we arrived for pick up the car we reserved was not there and they were trying to charge us 200+ dollars to upgrade. It wasn't our fault that they didn't have the car requested and I didn't feel like it was right that they were charging us more. When I talked to them about it they said I could cancel the reservation or take the one offered and pay extra. We were on vacation and on a strict budget so to have an increase by that much was very daunting. In the end they let us take the car and we're going to charge less but wouldn't give me an exact total. I refused the insurance but when we came back to drop off the car the total they had included the insurance and the upgrade and I showed them my quoted amount. After talking to 3 different people I got the insurance fees removed and they charged me 45$ for the upgrade. I will likely not rent a car from enterprise again because of this experience. In the past I've always had good success with them but this was much less than satisfactory.
I rented a full size car in Raleigh and returned to Charlotte one week later. I had flawless service on both ends. I was in and out of the location in under ten minutes. It was a superior renatl experience.
Fast and efficient. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. Drop off was a breeze. Love that everything is digitally done. No physical paperwork. Car was in pretty decent shape.
Traveled alone with my two young girls , this car rental made our girls trip run smoothly. The service was awesome ! Car was clean brand new and had no issues with it at all. Very fast service, was in and out in no time . Shuttle to and from Raleigh airport was fast, didn't even have to wait ! Staff was very kind !
I have used Enterprise at the RDU location since 2006. I always have a great experience and they are always staffed appropriately to handle the steady influx of customers. Their cars are clean and well maintained and the staff is always helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous.
I will continue to rent through Enterprise when I travel into Raleigh.
After my last rental, I will stop renting from Enterprise at this location due to the filthy cars. Their customer service is good, but that can not make up for the fact the past 5 rentals I've had cars of all makes and models which were dirty, smelled, one still sticky with spilled coffee drink in the center console. While driving out, the gate person was kind and provided with with air freshener and cleaning wipes so I could get on my way. My last time there I told the representative of the dirty cars I had been getting and we had to look at 3 cars until we found one that even she found acceptable.
The customer service is always great!! I upgraded once I saw the selections and my representative gave me the one with all the bells and whistles. Always a great experience. Don t remember His name but he s from California.
It was a geeat experience to use enterprise rent a car while visiting the Raleigh Durham area. Ww were able to do a little sightseeing aa we had a day before our flight home to spare. They took great care of us at pickup and dropoff.
My car broke down in Raleigh on a Sunday morning. After scheduling the tow from AAA I was patched through to an Enterprise rep to schedule a rental for use while my car was being repaired. The agent told me of a local branch open on Sundays and reserved a pickup for me for $47/day plus taxes and sent me an email confirmation.
Twenty minutes later the branch agent called me and told me they didn't have any pickups on the lot but had 15 passenger vans. I said I didn't need the van and would take a car instead. He asked what size car. I said it didn't really matter and we'd sort it out when I got there. He said that was fine.
An hour later when a friend took me to that branch, I found out they ONLY had 15 passenger vans. NO CARS AT ALL. I was furious that he had not told me this on the phone earlier. He seemed not to care one way or the other and said another enterprise office down the road would open in 40 minutes or I could try the airport office. My friend who was giving me the ride had to be somewhere and we couldn't wait around another hour for the nearby branch to open and deal with paperwork and such. The airport was on the way to my friend's appointment, so we decided to go there - a 20 mile drive.
At the airport I explained that I was given a confirmation for a rental car at another center which did not have the vehicle. I asked for the cheapest vehicle for 2 days and was given a compact Nissan Versa which was to cost me $75 a day! Almost double the original price of the vehicle that didn't exist on the other side of town. Being desperate at this point, I took it and made arrangements to find something else to drive after getting home, eventually finding a friend who could loan me a car for a few days. I returned the vehicle after one day and the total: $ 103.81 for a one day compact car rental when I was originally told I'd be paying $47 plus taxes for the first "confirmed" vehicle.
This was completely outrageous and unacceptable!!!! I have used Enterprise in the past when I lived in Indianapolis and had always had excellent service. This was a very disappointing and aggravating ordeal that has me now questioning EVER using the local Raleigh Enterprise branches. I cannot say enough to Raleigh customers - ASK TONS of questions about vehicle availability, final costs and not just the "daily rate" and any additional charges that may be tacked on.
The rental pickup was incredibly fast. I hardly stopped at the desk. Was taken right a selection of vehicles and set up and driving out. The car was clean and a joy to drive. Checking back in was equally as fast and went straight from my car to the shuttle and whisked to the terminal. All the employees I encountered were friendly and professional. Overall a 5 star experience.
Everyone involved in my rental at Raleigh Durham airport was helpful and friendly--even when i returned the vehicle at 5am. I was able to use a Debit card with no hassle. Ebony was a great shuttle bus driver, assisting with luggage and providing us with accurate arrival times. I picked up my car earlier than my stated time and a car was still available. In fact I got a free upgrade!
DO NOT RENT AT THIS PLACE! The WORST experience ever during my WEDDING! We reserved a car to go to my wedding in a different state. I had to overpay for a car that didn t have any of the features that I requested such as having 8 seats, Apple CarPlay and many more. I spent 6 hours on the phone with Enterprise trying to swap out a car on the day of my wedding but no even cared. I filed several complaints with enterprise and no one responded, I tried reaching out to the manager of the airport but couldn t get through because of how enterprise customer services lines are laid out and finally when we got to meet the manager in person, the experience ended up being very unsatisfactory. All this caused me to become more stressful on my wedding day. I will never ever get that time back. Please don t waste your time with place.
After many rentals with Enterprise, I will no longer use them for car rentals. RDU "service" people are the worst - rude and inattentive. Tired of paying for smelly and dirty vehicles and then being treated like I am bothering them when I rent the vehicle to start with!
My apologies for writing this review so late. However, I had a wonderful experience with this particular location. I wasn't quite sure what I would get; being as though the location had many young adults working. But, I was completely shocked how professional they were. Bravo Enterprise!
These guys go by the book. Even if you are at platinum level, they will try to push you a Sentra or elantra or versa or equivalent unless you pay extra for upgrades. Car quality is also not good. My car hadd a lot of pet hair inside. I had to clean the inside of mirrors to drive at night as it was literally foggy.
Go for the hertz right opposite this place. They have good cars.
Enterprise hires the best young people! Intelligent, bright and customer focused! The people (and prices) are the reason I keep going back to Enterprise.
Customer service was excellent as always. Car nice and drove well but had strong cigarette smell. It was a no smoking vehicle. I'm not sure if employees are smoking while cleaning/servicing the cars but the smell was strong. I tried airing the car out but the smoke is in the seats.
Not all Enterprise branches are equal. This branch always go above and beyond any other car rental. They take their time with you, not with the paperwork, all the way to the car door. They are different.
Was very pleased with our rental experience. Late coming back as the gas station was under construction with only 3 pumps going. The return man had me out of there in about 3 minutes. Certainly can't beat that
Called the day before about early return and everything I was told was wrong. No drop box. No ride to terminal No place to even park the vehicle off of the street.
Dollar National Hertz All had early shuttles running for customers with early flights.

Used to expect more from Enterprise. Car was less than quality clean inside. They didn't have the size I reserved, reminding me of the Seinfeld episode. "Upgraded" for $10 more a day.
I had a great experience with renting form this location. Service is FAST, both renting and returning; which I appreciate greatly. Friendly, kind staff. I look forward to renting from them again in the future.
Enterprise staff goes above and beyond. They are friendly and fast. As we walked in to the rental center, we were greeted with "Welcome to Enterprise. I am helping someone who is outside right now but wanted to make sure you were welcomed. I will be with you in just a minute."
Second instance of doing business with Enterprise and their customer service was superb. I rented a mid sized car and the quality of the ride and vehicle maintenance was immaculate. More than one reasons to rent once again from these guys!
Amazing service they had us in and out with in 5 minutes and they staff were amazing extremely friendly and personable. Anytime we go out of town I m using them for sure best experience I ve ever had with a rental company. I would give more stars if I could.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has the best customer service of any rental car company. Their staff is always friendly and fast. If there is any concern they take care of it in an above and beyond manner. As long as their service stays like it is, I plan to be a loyal customer for many years to come.
Super friendly staff. Explained features of the luxury SUV. Very easy to connect with shuttle bus to and from airport. There wasn t much difference in price from renting directly from enterprise as a posed to using a third party agency. Good job enterprise. Will be using you again.
Enterprise (this location specific)has the best customer service in the rental car business!!! I can t remember the two gentlemen s men!! But they made my experience so stress free!! I encountered no issues with the vehicle. It was clean and free of any debris. The interior & exterior were in good condition. Pickup and drop-off was an efficient relatively prompt turn around. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the Tire Pressure sensor light continuously indicated the tire pressure was low. I assumed things like that would be checked prior to rental.
