We went into DavidMcDavid in Frisco just to test drive a certified Honda Pilot. We were not really planning to buy it. But we had such a good experience, we ended up taking it home. Sam Salas helped us immensely. Great Experience.

The wait is way too long. I am always waiting 3-4 hours just for a simple oil change. I have to plan to have an entire day free just to have my car serviced, which in incredibly inconvenient.
There was a miscommunication with tires on one of my visits and they did take care of it, however, one of the brand new tires popped while driving only 3 days later. I used to love the service, but because of the wait times and the issues I have had, I no longer trust them.

Reasons for a poor rating given:---
1.) Had to wait 1 and 1/2 hours for getting a shuttle ride back home. Had to wait from 12:50 pm to after 2:20 pm. They had just one shuttle service picking up clients and dropping them too. This on a Thursday early afternoon.
Most places the shuttle service is a 20 minutes wait.
2.) Gave my car for a regular service. But the car showed it needed Coolant Service too. I requested the advisor to see why this is so, since I had that done recently. He never checked and just went ahead and charged for it again. Now when I came to pick up the vehicle, I was prepared with my previous work record; done at McDavid. I had a Coolant service done in June of this year . So just over 5 months plus and only 6 K miles more, my car shows it needed the Coolant service again. So the question is that did McDavid actually do the Coolant service the in June or just charged me for it??? The advisor did reverse the charge, but only after I pointed it to him.
3.) Had a McDavid Coupon for Mean and Clean package. Absolutely no disinfectant service was done. So that coupon was just to pull in the Client, but skip on the work.
The item that McDavid exceled on was inspection. They sure did with big $$$ defects that needs to be taken care of.

I had to learn you check-in with an assigned rep not someone you meet upon arrival and we unscrambled the previous owners information with mine and knowing these things will help us both do more efficient business together. I've been going here for years. I actually switched to another dealership that was cost to home but their service wasn't as great. This most recent the, my service advisor was Tony R. And he was so helpful. Needed a wheel bearing changed on my car. Their quote was even lower than the one I got from NTB. Plus they have a shuttle service that will take you anywhere in a 10-mile radius and pick you up when your car is ready. I definitely recommend this places.

I went in on a Wednesday morning to locate a vehicle that I was extremely interested in. I was looking for it and in that process an associate by the name of Farid came out to assist me in my search. Turns out the vehicle had been sold and the website hadn't been updated yet. I had a question in regards to a similar vehicle that was in stock and he took the time to bring it out from way in the back where they were still doing the inspection so I could look at it. Never once did I feel pressured to buy the vehicle. If I had questions he took the time to fully answer them and gave me the answers in written form in regards to warranty and trade in. If he did not know an answer, he made sure to get the answer that I needed. He checked in with me in regards with my vehicle search and potential purchase following my visit at McDavid. I ended up buying the vehicle from him and took extremely good care of me in the process which led up to the car purchase. The process itself was simple (except for the waiting part) He earned my business at McDavid and with him as it was a 5 star purchasing experience by him. I recommend Farid to anyone who is in the market to purchase a vehicle!

Was able to make an appointment and explain problem. They fixed one problem with a software update, but the other problem appears to be an ApplePlay issue or iPhone problem, not the car.

That basically sums it up. Went to the dealership twice, with the second time a complete waste of time because they would not respond to my phone calls. Got a much better deal down south. I would try this dealership once, but unfortunately they seem to have followed the path of corporate greed instead of helping customers.

The staff was friendly. submitted my vin# 4 100120. Price for MClcD was quoted 25,776. During nego. Price went up 26800. Neg down. But couldn't agree. Returned to McD because we agreed with the price. When arrived was told by sales mang my vec was not (touring) and that I misrep it. Sales rep had my vin# that states EXL A6,photos, and video of car running. "Because you have a EXL and not a touring price is -$1500 and ABS light was on that is -$1700. Total of -$3200. As video shows that I provided two days before no warning lights were on. Light went off within 5 mins after leaving and has not come back on (trip home 3hrs)

Felt like we made a good deal then upon return sale manager changed mind and lowered the value of our car.
10hrs of Sat gone. Lesson learned the hard way. But this is the type of experience we have had in the past by most dealership. Respectfully.

I m a loyal Honda driver, purchasing 4 Honda s from 3 dealerships- my last two from David McDavid. It all comes down to their customer service. They don t make you feel like you re just another sale. They ll keep it as real as they professionally can, and it s always nice to be able to keke with people.

Hossein F. is extremely warming and does everything he possibly can to please you as a client. Scott M. takes your every concern into mind and will find you exactly what you re looking for.

100% my favorite is Sharouz S., my finance manager. He handled my first contract and my second. He makes the worst part about buying a car, comparably the best. And every time I ve been here (appts, maintainable, questions etc.) he remembers me.

And if you re committing to purchasing a car, talking to Miss V up at reception because she will definitely help shave some time off your wait.

ALSO lastly, always go with Tony Rodriguez for your service advisor personnel. He s easy peasy to work with. Really accommodating.

Since I live a fair distance from Frisco, Rich Davis, made the process to purchase the car very easy. The car we discussed was pulled up and "negotiation" was short and to the point. I had my son with me and Rich, along with all other members of the David McDavid team, were very welcoming and helpful in making sure we were comfortable. Would recommend working with Rich to anyone looking to purchase a used car.

Mr. Shoaib is the best dealer you may want to have business with. I now understand why he is so wanted by many customers. He is gentle and nice and knows the customer s need exactly and responds in the customer s perspective. Besides, for the finance manager, find Howard Jung!! He has helped a lot in terms of the payment! These two gentlemen made my day.

However, his boss I guess Davood or Dahood, please avoid that person. I give one star because of him. He will rip you off if you trust him. I told him that the car I bought yesterday has some issues with steering handle when driving over 80 miles. It was shaking very badly. He told me to go to a gas station to air pump the tires because it was already sold yesterday so he couldn t do anything. I was so upset because he changed his face right after he sold the car. I didn t really haggle the price because of Shoaib but Davood was the worst person that I have ever met in dealerships who just want you to pay more. Don t be a pushover.

Finally, Shoaib apologized and fixed all the problems that I had. I wish everyone in the Honda Dealership would be like him. Find Shoaib and Howard Jung for buying your car. You can trust them there. I would give 10 stars to Shoaib and Howard, but 1 star to Davood.

As mentioned, I bought a used car, Sienna 2013 XLE and paid a little more than 15k. one of the reasons that I bought the car here was because they have reconditioned the car amazingly. A day later, I found an extra issue on the brake as well as the wheel alignment. I brought in the car and they got it fixed right away. During this process, I met a couple of other nice guys who has helped me a lot. Dylan Flatt, the advisor was very accessible, professional, and kind. The Shuttle driver, Danny was amazingly nice, kind, and drove me home safely. His driving was never speedy nor scary like other dealership drivers. Very gentle and comfortable. Next day, Danny dropped off my car at my place. The fear like what if I made a mistake or what if I bought a terrible car has actually gone away because of this wonderful experience.

Again, I feel like if I buy a new car later, I would def come to these guys. Thank you Howard, Danny, Dylan, Shoaib.

I had my 2013 Honda Pilot serviced and I had the worst experience. My wife and child took the Pilot for a routine oil change and they recommended I get my timing belt tensioner replaced due to leaking which was quoted about $900. I took it for a 2nd opinion and I was informed there was no leak in to my timing belt tensioner and I took photos to show the advisor and manager at Honda the very next day. I was advised by Honda advisor and manager that they would need to look at the Honda which I took today and 4 technicians looked at it and could not find the leak that they advised me I had.

The worst part is that they accused me of cleaning the area where the leak would be and did not take any accountability for trying to fraud me to fix something that was not broken. They advised me they can take everything a part to research further which could take another 2 hours which I did not have time. I believe this is a major issue and I thought Honda had more integrity, especially since I have been a life long owner of Honda purchasing 3 vehicles. This caused me to have lost trust in the dealership service team and I will not be getting any of my Honda vehicles serviced through the dealership.

The service department did an outstanding job and really went above and beyond. I dropped my car off a few Saturday's ago when a check engine light came on. The service advisor, Chris Kite, real made it super convient by getting me a loaner car while they diagnosed and fixed the issues over the holiday weekend while keeping me updated on a step by step basis.

He was extremely knowledgeable on all Honda products from the engine size to their maintenance statistics. But when I found McDavid Honda Frisco, I was treated with respect and honesty -- which I value the most. They made an impression on me. The transaction was fast, accurate and free of the hassle that we have experienced elsewhere. He was a delight to work with from the first telephone discussion to final delivery. If you want a pleasant experience shopping for a new car, you HAVE to see Mark Ladd @ David McDavid Honda of Frisco. He was knowledgeable, not pushy, was very upfront, and quite pleasant. He was very patient with us when we had an unexpected delay in purchasing our car and followed up when we asked him. We were thrilled to deal with him when we were ready. Absolutely awful experience. I leased a car from them in 2011, and was not impressed with their customer service, and made the mistake of letting them try to make it up to me in 2013 on a second lease. Unfortunately the second time was even worse and more costly. As part of the deal made for the new car, they agreed to pay off the remainder of my 2011 lease, including incidentals and mileage. Within weeks Honda Financial was calling saying that we owed $500 on incidentals and mileage. I informed them that the dealership agreed to pay the overage. After several phone calls and emails, Jeremy from David McDavid stated in an email that they would pay off the $500 as agreed. I did not hear from Honda Financial again, as they sent the claim to a collection agency. This dealership caused me to have a collection on my credit report. There are plenty of dealerships in the DFW area, please choose one other than David McDavid Frisco.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on February 2, 2019. My wife and I paid cash for it and went on our way. We were told that we should receive our tags and inspection stickers within two to three weeks. Here it is over two months later and we've yet to receive it. I have called and spoke to Fahad [don't remember last name] and asked if they could overnight an updated tag as ours was about to expire. He said ok. Here it is April 10, 2019 and we've yet to get them. I called back again today, and one of the reps told me they would follow up and get back with me within 20 minutes. Guess what? Still no word and we're having to drive a vehicle with expired tags. That is not good customer service after the sale.

Love the car. Good representation of Honda here. James was professional and legitimately negotiated with me to reach what I felt was a good deal. Same goes for everyone who I dealt with here. Some dealerships can be confrontational about negotiating price and it can ruin the experience.

I recently purchased a 2017 CPO Accord. When driving it home I noticed what felt like the wheels needing balancing. I took it to discount tire who showed me that 2 rims were bent and one of the tires is damaged, likely from the car hitting a pot hole. There is a piece of the tire sidewall that has separated from the tire and you let me drive away with the tire like this. Someone made big chalk arrows on the tire so it was pretty hard to miss. I have texted service advisor Sandra who is not replying and I have left a voice message for a manager asking for a call back. This is very disappointing.

Update: After posting this review I was contacted by the dealership. I took my car in and they resolved all concerns and apologized.

The staff at McDavid Honda were fantastic! From the willingness to work with us on pricing, to the flexibility and speed of their service; we truly had a great experience and would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to check them out. We told him what we were looking for (budget, third row seat, and not a mini van, lol) and he recommended a Honda Pilot. It's a vehicle I had looked into, but he further went over the benefits. I haven't even purchased a car yet and the customer service at this dealership is amazing. I don't have great credit and the staff here is going above and beyond to get me in the car I want without pushing me into something I don't because it's easier to finance. They listen and are extremely nice. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. My sales person is John Hicks and again I would recommend him to anyone, in no way has he been pushy the entire time and has offered options without giving up. My service was handled very professionally, and promptly. I had two 'suspension brackets replaced, and also an interior dome light fixed. I received friendly, polite attention, and the service rep called me as soon as the work was done. Kudos to you all. And a special thanks to Eric for fixing the dome light. I had it fixed on my previous service visit, and it quit working before I got home. On this visit, he fixed it at no additional charge, and it is working just fine.

I drove into the service line and there were a lot of cars, I thought I would be here for a while. So, Ashleigh was handling my call, she said it would be about an hour. She showed me the waiting area and offered me water or coffee and she would come and get me when my car is ready. So, I poured some coffee and settled in for a wait, and half way through my coffee, Ashleigh comes to me and says its all ready! I said, Really! So it was awesome!!!!

Stopped by McDavid Frisco looking for used cars and didn't see what I was looking for, so I left. Got a voicemail a few days later from James Brown at McDavid Frisco saying that he'd like to speak with me about buying a new Honda.

I called him back and told him I didn't think new was in my budget, but thanks. He asked me what I was looking for and what my budget looked like and told me he'd call me right back. Five minutes later he's got the car I'm looking for (model, color, trim, transmission) with 26 miles on the odometer, and he's quoting me a more than fair price out the door.

48 hours later I'm at the dealership. Test drive, paperwork, shake hands. In and out in about 90 minutes with a brand new '17 Honda Accord. James was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent. Great car buying experience. No typical car salesman hustle, no BS. Refreshing. Thanks, James.

Last year August, I had to jump start my Honda CRV...

Last year August, I had to jump start my Honda CRV, which is regularly maintained at David McDavid. I went in expecting a battery failure and replacement. I was told battery was good but the starter needs replacement and the battery cable needed replacement. Also the steering rack needed replacement. All for $2700. As this is my primary car to haul the kids, I went ahead with all the suggested repairs. When I went to pick up my car, I was told, "By the way we had to change the battery as it was faulty!". So it was only the battery all along???? I called in to speak with the service manager at least 5-6 times and the calls were never answered nor returned.

Today that newly replaced $1500 steering rack failed and meanwhile they also found the front struts to be in "red and have to be changed as it was making noise."

Since that steering rack was under warranty, it seems very convenient that the nearby front struts had failed too and charged me a $841 for parts and labor for the front struts and alignment. The labor and alignment which would have been needed during and after replacing the faulty steering rack.

Nice way to pass on the charges of your faulty work back to the customer David McDavid, you have lost a regular. I have been made a fool, twice and that feels sickening.

My Pilot battery drained down on my garage. I called the dealership and Tim an advisor took good care of me very well. Called the towing service and jumpstarted my vehicle. Mike Myers an advisor took care of the rest while I was on dealership. My Pilot battery was changed and back on the road now. Thanks for an excellent job and for great service! My recent trip to the Service center was outstanding. They quickly identified the problem and implemented the correct solution within minutes. I was free to go in just over an hour, which I found really fast and efficient. I absolutely recommend David McDavid Honda in Frisco for both servicing your Honda, or getting a Honda for yourselves. Came in for inspection and also high vibration on steering column at highway speeds. Front axles the cause and were replaced by warranty. Inspection and warranty work completed very quickly and ready by 3 pm!

Only negative was for second consecutive time, I waited for over 30 min for a shuttle back to dealership (which eventually turned into a Lyft ride). Shuttle to work was prompt as it has always been.

This was the worst car buying experience of my life. Talk about a truly shady dealership. They do not care about the customer; only their profit. They lied on multiple things. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP! USAA should definitely pull them as a preferred dealer.

Had my worst experience in a car dealership. Went shopping with mom for her new Accord. It started off good but then it quickly went downhill. Had an offer through Costco and ended up going with their price. But rep told us a higher price than his own email. They honored the original price after showing his email to us. But the part that still irks me was the 4 hour rate for financing. Was told they were trying to match up the best rate which she most definitely qualified for. Turned out they did not even run the numbers. Ended up matching what we were getting from her credit union. Decided to go finance it with the Credit Union since it was a waste of time. Would have saved a few hours of our life. Will be giving them a negative review through Costco as they tried to dishonor their pricing. Highly suggest you go elsewhere. Definitely will go to another Honda dealer when we buy our next one.

We were so satisfied by the service that Mosaab provided. Everything was explained thoroughly and he helped us find the right car for us. We would definitely recommend him to our friends! Everyone was really nice too and they don't pressure you to buy the car. Awesome place!

Just purchased a new car at David McDavid Honda in Frisco. Worked with Aliakbar Khidaeinodeh who did an excellent job during the buying and delivery process. I hate to buy cars but the experience at David McDavid Honda was very relaxed and no pressure. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing and new used Honda vehicle. I have been purchasing from this dealership now for more than 15 years. Top notch in my book and when the construction is done the facility will be magnificent.
