I recently purchased my THIRD car from Keith Burr at David McDavid Honda Frisco! Keith makes the process easy and most important NO HASSLE! I can ask to look at as many cars as I want and the same car five times, the whole time Keith has nothing but a smile on his face and patience. Jay Marcus my financial specialist was amazing too!! Again no hassle, no games and made it one of the simplest purchases ever. Everytime I leave with a smile and 100% satisfied!! I couldn't ask for a better experience. Great Dealership, great place to buy cars or to leave your car for service with a piece of mind. All most all the sales persons posses excellent salesman ship if you are buying or at service. Though I did not buy this car from this dealership I would proudly say they are the best. My Car was serviced at many dealerships across US but would like to say this place is awesome dealership for service. The service divisors are very friendly and courteous. Many thanks to sales person Mr. Tim Tran and his Staff who fixed my car Electrical battery Issues. Tim Tran was upfront in saying that it is covered under warranty at 82,000 miles on my car which was such a relief to me. Tim Tran and Management Staff were very friendly with us and provided excellent customer satisfaction. I had great experience on Jan 26 2015. Many thanks to all the service advisers who have serviced my vehicle in the past as well. I will suggest this dealership to everyone who are looking for service or looking for nice deals to buy car.

Scheduled inspection for July 10. They confirmed TWICE. Arrived to be told inspection machin broke 2 days ago. Unacceptable that I wasn't notified!!!! Tried to call service manager Colin Baker who they SAID was walking the floor. They could have paged him!! So decided to write review. Normally I am more than pleased with service but today was a real let down. No excuses please.

my car is a 19 cpo with only 33 k i didn't notice until after i bought it that it had a loud sound in front suspension along with wrapped roters. i brought it to service and collin the service manager couldn't find the problem that was after they had my car already over a week for other issues and then a mechanic drove with me heard the sound said it would get fixed 100% then 2 days later they said the mechanics couldn t find the sound and a bunch of bs. mind you i know cars work on them and im a car enthusiast so... cant lie to me!!! im unimpressed and will never go to your dealership again and will get my car serviced elsewhere. What a great buying experience! Our visit began virtually and ended with the financial transaction at the dealership. Shoaib and Garret were prompt and professional and our interaction was terrific. They did exactly what they said they would do throughout the entire buying process. We worked primarily with Shoaib and I've got to tell you - ask for him when you go look for your next vehicle! He is so knowledgeable, worked hard to give us everything we asked for and is just a pleasure to work with. Bought a brand new 2015 Accord from David McDavid,...

Bought a brand new 2015 Accord from David McDavid, well 13 and 15 have a design flaw on them. The bottom grill on the front bumper, lets rocks through that are flicked up by other cars on the highway. The rock hits the AC condenser and puts a hole in it, my AC is out. Honda knows of this problem and now I am spending money out of pocket, not covered under warranty. I have always thought of Honda cars as reliable, I was happy that our 1st accord only had transmission, once under warranty the second on me. We got 180k out of that accord. So we bought our 2nd Accord an 08, this being the 1st purchased from McDavid dealership. We have had to replace the power steering rack, power steering pump, alternator, cv axles, and the tires have never worn even from front to back, no matter how well we rotated them. Even with those problems I thought over all, it has been a good car and we still own it today. I wont even go into what happened the 1st time we purchased a new car from David McDavid. This is our 3rd and now It really pisses me off that they know of this problem and push it off on their customers, and it is such and easy fix. When I called in, the manager said well what if a rock came up and hit your ac compressor? I got pissed when I found out he was close and it was the condenser. Tells me he knows of it, and again pushed on me. These are the reasons I moved away from American brands. Why buy Japanese when I can buy American and get the same problems? Maybe not, Buick here I come.
Thought I would edit this post. So I called the manager twice on the number he said to call on and his message said to email him. I have to laugh, why not just leave your email. Well I left messages both times and not a call back. So I fixed it myself, for about 150.00. About 450.00 less than what Honda was wanting. I am done with Honda, had three Accords and all three had problems, especially our 2008. This is a bad design and Honda is aware of it and trying to profit form what they could easily fix. I installed a billet grill insert so nothing can get past the grill to pop Condenser again. Going back to Toyota, or Lexus really will be our next vehicle. Posted some pics. Tried to post pics, but can't find them.

I was in the market for a new Honda and after poor experiences in McKinney and Plano a friend suggested that I visit David McDavid. They were right! I walked in and the energy, positive attitudes and helpful (but not pushy) staff are the first things I noticed. Adam, Jeremy and Zee really took their time (even on the busiest of Saturdays) to help ME find, feel comfortable with and make my car purchase. It was a drastic change from other dealerships that just wanted to play games. At David McDavid I was treated with respect, as a valued customer and I left with a great deal and a car I love. I will return and highly recommend to others.

Victor was absolutely phenomenal! The starter went out on my Accord and needed to be towed from Oak Cliff to Frisco. Victor called me as soon as my car got there to let me know it had gotten their safely and got it looked at as soon as he could. My car was done in the same day and I Victor called me the moment it was ready. What was a very inconvenient and annoying situation was quickly made bearable by Victor and David McDavid.

Best Service Advisor EVER - Julio Reyes. I bought my Accord new in 2010 from DMDH - Frisco and have always had it serviced at this location. I've never had a bad experience but over the years Julio rose to the top of service advisors and I began making my service appts with him specifically about 3 years ago. He is always available, very knowledgeable, courteous and recognized my insecurity about car maintenance, repairs and cost. He would take time to explain to me what, why and most importantly when I needed something done. Often he would say "you don't need this right now", or "lets do this instead and it will save you money". My car has run like a champ and his advice was right every time. I recently moved and decided to try an auto repair franchise closer to me. Terrible decision and terrible experience. I left my car for repair while out of town on vacation. The diagnostics call came in and I knew immediately it was bogus because I know my car. They wanted to take the car apart and charge me $400 just to do that. Called Julio and he was on it. He dealt directly with the other shop and even got his director Buddy involved. It turned out to be a very minor issue. Julio saved my car, my purse and my vacation. Who does that these days?!! Julio you're my hero and I will honestly never take my car to anyone else!! And thanks to you Buddy for your support. Love this service dept and I hope your company recognizes the treasure you have in Mr. Reyes!!!

Recently was sent an e-mail(by the finance manager) about getting a lower interest rate. Even with everything that is going on today, anything to save money. I recently purchased a car and thought Why not try? Went in and was setup with Melvin and first thing he said is I am just going to get mileage and look it over and we will send you why we can do. I thought this is different. Went along with it and was told I was going to be contacted later. Fast forward to the next day after I had asked when I would hear anything. Melvin told me as soon as I hear anything I will call you immediately. Finally waited till after noon and sent a text asking if he heard anything. I got I had a meeting with the finance manager an hour ago and not going to be able to at this time. What the heck? I guess an hour after and the customer reaching out is great customer service ? Not a great experience. Customers come first. So what if I couldn t, at least call when you said you would AND be the one to communicate to your customers without them asking! It s called CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Yesterday, Sept 10, 2014 , I purchased a new Honda Accord EX L 2014 model from Honda of Frisco and the Sale person helped me was Enrique Martinez. I experienced a wonderful time there while Martinez gave me orientation about the car and the most helpful assistance through out the whole process of Drive-Out. This was my 4th purchase of Honda Accord during the last several years, and the salesmanship by Martinez was excellent who provided the real test of buying pleasure. I bought a car here last year and paid over 2,000 for an extended warranty. My car started overheating this year and the a/c fails I'm 50 miles over the warranty but a whole year before it expires and they will do nothing. Don't buy a car here. I know I never will again.

Worst car dealership ever. Shady shady people working here and management itself is crooked beyond all belief. Do yourself a favor and take the time to go to Richardson. The one in McKinney is almost as bad but not as bad as Frisco.

Great Staff; Insulting Price Negotiation Policy. The Sales Rep was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the car. Having done lots of research, we came in already knowing exactly what we wanted, and what the price should be. It was very disappointing to have to sit there for several hours and play the negotiation game. We were given a written quote very quickly, and were told there were no incentives or specials, and that the quoted price was "about as low as the dealership could go" and that any further price reduction would basically make the deal a money loser for the dealership. Of course, we knew that was inaccurate. We were faced with the decision of simply walking out (my first instinct), or playing the game. I had to produce written competitive quotes from other dealers, before McDavid would agree to drop their price. They insisted on seeing the emails/texts for themselves, as though I were lying to them. It was insulting. Eventually they dropped their quote (by $3,000!) to come in just under one of the other Dealer's written quotes, and we made the deal (despite the final price still being higher than what our online research indicated. Although we walked out with the car we wanted, the negotiation tactics and dishonestly ("we really can't go lower") were insulting. We love the car, and both the Sales Rep and the Finance Rep were very pleasant. But I cannot recommend David McDavid Honda to any of my colleagues, neighbors or friends, due to the insulting -- and frankly dishonest -- price negotiation techniques. To be clear, I do not blame the Sales Rep -- he was very sympathetic, apologetic, and seemed to be "caught in the middle".

Coming from someone actually considering on replacing my car at your dealership this is highly unfortunate and I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with the service level of incompetence and poor client management .

I walked into the service office to pick up my car (I left the car there Saturday to pick up on Monday morning) , and looks like I was there at the wrong time (9:30 am on Monday 1/23/17) there were about 10 to 15 service personnel more concerned about eating their fried chicken at their desk than doing their job, once I approached one of them to ask for my car I was sent to another representative (BTW the only one busy at the time)

He didn't seem know how to lookup for a car and just said sorry I cannot find it... So I was like okay... so ??? what's happening now?
(the guy next to him had to help him ask the correct questions to find it).

I was asked multiple times who was my representative and honestly I didn't remember or care, but the representative didn t like the response, I honestly expect any representative to be able to give me back my car.
Having I known I was only going to be taken care by my representative I would have asked him to get me his contact card and keep his name in my agenda

Once we found the car I was sent to the payment area, to be fair... the lady there was very attentive and helpful unlike your service guys. After that I went out and my car wasn t anywhere to be found which forced me to go back to the last representative and ask him what now?

He looked bothered by my question but at that time you guys had wasted my time long enough that I stopped caring .

After 10 minutes my car arrived dripping water, I had to wait all this time for you guys to run it through the car wash. That was just it

Anyway, the only reason I used your dealer service is that I had to replace a faulty airbag, I will surely avoid stepping in this place in the future especially when getting a new car.

Every time I visit the David McDavid Honda of Frisco, it is always a very positive experience for me. The staff is very attentive, timely, and professional, and most importantly, they seem to really love their jobs. As someone who does not know much about cars, I thoroughly appreciated at my last visit that Greg Gansle took the time to tell me in detail the work that had been done on my car as well as explain the costs. He greeted me as if I were an old friend and was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience. I would definitely recommend visiting the David McDavid Honda of Frisco in the future!
