I wanted to take the opportunity to write to you and let you know that I recently completed my A-12 service on my 2014 Honda Odyssey with Megan at Honda of Frisco. My experience was fantastic. I was hesitant at first because I wasn t quite sure how the set up would be at the service center with all the rules etc Related to Covid 19. However Megan reassured me at The time that I set up the appointment that everything would be touchless and managed with cleanliness and disinfection. She was not only very knowledgeable and professional she was extremely helpful. I was very impressed with the fact that I got pictures to show me what was wrong with the car beyond the typical service issues. This really visualized for me the issues that were going on with my car and encouraged me to act upon them immediately.

In addition to all that, I feel her communication with me was excellent as it related to status of my vehicle and a skirt issue I was having with my car. She even offered a discount to keep my service issues at your dealership versus taking them to discount brakes down the street where it was cheaper.

Please take a moment and recognize her for me amongst her peers as I think it s very important that everybody know the extra effort she puts into her clients and the service that she provides!!

Recently took my car for servicing. Had a great experience. Tony took care of servicing my car. He gave me clear recommendations and answered all of my questions regarding the service. And best of all, he took care of servicing in an hour or so. The recommendations of subsequent services were educative and never meant to "sell" for the sake of selling.. In short, I trust these guys and never go anywhere else for servicing my 2012 Honda Odyssey.

I had made an appointment online and when I got there, they did not have my appointment and made me come back the next day even though i had called to make sure they had me on the calncder. This experience is making me think never to get car from David McDavid.

I am not new to owning Honda cars but I am a new customer to this dealership. I found the staff, I dealt with at this dealership, very friendly and helpful. Todd Wilmes assisted me with the test drive of a new Honda Accord Touring.. Based on that experience I went back to the dealership and bought my new car in less than 4 hours. People who helped me during this process were Jeff Stone, Rob Grubbs and Davood Bayat. I found them to be professional and very helpful. I went back to the dealership to put new license plates and a few accessories. Sandra of the service department was equally helpful. Keep up the good work. This dealership has always provided me with excellent service and an excellent car buying experience. After buying 5 cars directly from Stephen Szilva I can safely say that he is an amazing salesman and is patient and willing to answer any and all questions we have. From the finance team, the service team, and the sales team, It's hard to go to any other dealership in the DFW area and get the level of service I get with David McDavid Honda in Frisco.

I had a wonderful experience with David McDavid when I bought my Odyssey. I had absolutely no intention of buying anything when I walked in, but the staff was great and the price was right. They were wonderful to work with and every staff member made sure we had all our questions answered and needs met. I will definitely be buying my next Honda from David McDavid.

The salesperson(s) I dealt with were Aldee Marquis and Stacy Jackson and they were both fantastic from start to finish. This was my first car leasing experience and I was very satisfied with the information provided and the professional and courteous nature of both Aldee and Stacy. As a result of their persistence and a high comfort level on my end we were able to land on a deal that worked for me. The car (2014 Honda Accord) is an excellent ride. I always joke with my wife that her car (the Honda Accord) is so much of a smoother ride then my Chevy Malibu!

Went in for an airbag recall. That went fine but I needed an oil change too. My service advisor added the oil change to my work order. I caught the shuttle to my home (they wouldn't take me the extra couple of miles to my office. When I went to pick up my vehicle the service reminder for the oil change was still on. Waste of my time. I don't know if the oil was changed or not. The cashier said that my service advisor would call me regarding the oil change. 4 days later no contact. For sure I won't be going back to David McDavid. Update, still no phone call. I am starting to doubt that the air bags were even replaced. I'll see how difficult it will be to confirm they were replaced.

This was by far my worst car buying experience ever.

Was in the place for more than 7 hours trying to buy a car.

They tried to way undervalue my trade-in and I mean by about $5000.00 I had to pull up the value on several sites to show them the stupidity.

Did not want to really negotiate on price.
Actually all the dealer junk they add to the car just makes the buyer sick. It is stuff that should not even be sold to normal consumers.

At the end of the day they were the only dealer in north TX that had the car I wanted so I had to hang in. Given the choice again I will not buy for them again

Gregory von Readen was exceptional as usual. He was fairly prompt in attending to my needs when I first pulled up into the service area. We spoke at length on some questions I had about my vehicle and he suggested an additive that would help improve fuel economy. Lastly, he took time to explain what happened when the wait time seemed a little too long. Long story short, it was a fairly great experience and I do plan to continue service at this location.

Very disappointed in the sales tactics from this dealership. Wife went in to buy the daughter a car and kept getting the "numbers" game with the sales team. Kept sneaking in an extended warranty that she did not want or need. She told them multiple times she didn't want it and they kept coming back with a new set of numbers that tried to add this expensive add on. Had I been there we would have walked out and never gone back. It's sad dealerships still try this bait and switch game....always look at what they are trying to con you into signing!!!

As a recent college graduate, the last thing I wanted was added stress from the car-buying process. Luckily, David McDavid Frisco spared me time and a headache. My salesman, Darren Smith had a great personality and empathy for the stressful in-between period I was going through right after college. In the same day we were able to find a perfect fit for me and my budget and was able to drive off in my new Honda Civic lease. It really is the little things that mean the most in the car-buying process and Darren and the the staff at David McDavid delivered 100 percent! Thanks again!

Please avoid this place if you have other choices for servicing your vehicle. Similar to what was mentioned in few of the other reviews, the folks here hardly care to do their job thoroughly, they are only focused on selling additional work. If you stop them and ask for details or question their recommendations, they get defensive and behave in a rude manner.

Lets start my experience at this Honda car dealership in Frisco was horrible. I got a call yesterday from Hanson Henry the manager in used cars and he advised me that he can get me into a car but I can take the car while he work with finance group never heard of this before. So he said I need you to bring $1500 cash have to be cash cant be check or anything has to be cash and then I can drive off with the car. As I came to the car dealership He kept texting me asking me what car was it . After looking at my credit Maged Shalaby(doesn t really respond to email) if your credit bad. Was not trying to help and I had a big down payment. After I slept on it I thought this was all shady and today I will be going to get my money back and Hanson Henry the used car manger didnt give me a receipt. I will be reporting this, people watch out especially the ones with challenge credit.

I finally was able leave work at a good hour and stopped in for an oil change. My schedule is really tight these days and time is very important to me and I don't have a lot of it. Timmy Tran was my service adviser and cannot tell you how pleased I was with this experience. I honestly look forward to my next visit. I am new to the area and so thankful to have a top level Honda dealership that has top level talent like Timmy. I plan to establish a long term relationship and this just cemented that future foundation. I've been associated with various Honda products for a very long time. This includes two motorcycles and now a lawn mower. I am very happy and satisfied customer. Keep up the good work!

The sales side was great, Gina was very responsive to the things I needed, yet I really didn't enjoy the finance side of the transaction. I am really unhappy and felt really pressured to buy a warranty that I really didn't want and when I told the finance guy I didn't want it he kept rebutting me. Its been 3 weeks and I still don't know who Im financed through and haven't received any feedback or follow up.

My wife and I came into the dealership on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 to check possibilities and options. We ended up trading in my 2016 Civic LX for a brand new 2018 HR-V LX. We worked with Justin Burton(Sales), and John Pomroy(Financial). This was our third vehicle purchased at David McDavid Honda of Frisco and by far the best experience we have ever had(not that the others were bad). Justin and John were full of personality, quick to act, tentative, listened to what we had to say and took our needs into consideration at every corner. At no time did we feel in the dark. They were up front, realistic, and transparent about everything. We left with a much better deal than we ever thought possible and are 110% satisfied with our experience.

Advice: be upfront with your salesperson. Everyone thinks the salesperson is out to get them on hidden fees and charges. Not here at David McDavid Honda in Frisco. From start to finish our salesperson, Ryan Cumberland, was patient and addressed every single issue we had. We never felt pressured and Ryan took his time to make sure we understood everything from the paper work to how the car works. It was a hassle free buying experience. A lot of dealerships do not hold customer service as their number one priority. Here at David McDavid, they do.

My salesperson, Mr Camden Chumbley, was a difference maker in the best sense, for my deciding to purchase a new Honda car from David McDavid Honda, Frisco, Texas. Why? Camden knows the Fit nearly as well as the design team in Japan. The EX has complicated sensor and electronic safety features plus advanced multimedia interconnect. Camden knows these features and systems well enough to explain them completely and concisely so the completely uninitiated, like I was before buying, can both use and understand the features. So, Camden has this calming effect on the prospective purchaser that stops any fear or trepidation you may have dead in its tracks. My experience buying a new Fit could not have been more fun and productive. This car buying experience is not like any other I have ever had (in all positive ways!). I recently went in to Mcdavid Honda frisco to get service on my 13' civic. While I was there one of the managers John Pomroy greeted me. He told me about the new redesigned 16' civic. Next thing I know I was driving it. Jermey and John were very low pressure the new civic is amazing. Overall it was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. My finance manager Josh Gabbi was very professional. I really will recommend these guys to everyone I know. Great job guys!! Thank You!!

I am waiting in their lounge for more than 1 hour now to meet with their finance guys and this is my second attempt.The front desk person has paged the finance guys more than a couple of times now and nobody has turned up. The thing is the Finance guys don t take appointments as well. So far it has been a real bad experience although my car buying experience has been a smooth one.

He worked with us every way possible , helping us pick out the right car for our needs. Purchased a 2019 CR-V Touring in March and a 2019 Ridgeline in May. He is very knowledgeable about the product he sells. We were very impressed with his professionalism and patience. He always stayed in contact with us via phone , text or email during the purchase and after. I had very bad experience in David McDavid Honda of Frisco yesterday. The service center of this dealership is not professional. They charged me labor fee to find out why the air bag light is ON. The result was that they did not even find out the passenger seat belt was locked. I had to find another dealer to check, wasted lots of time, money and energy. Very very bad experience. I felt they do not care. It seemed they were very busy and they have enough customers. Not sure if Asbury Park, the owner cares. Indeed I am their loyal customer for many years, very sad. Anyway, just express my frustration here.

very frustrating experience today. I dropped my car off at 10Am for an interior detail. decided to do an oil change and inspection as well at the last minute. agent advised it will take 4 hours, and i can use their drop off service to go home, and he will text me when car is ready. After 5 HOURS i get a text, that they will not be able to do the detail today. so in 5 hours, all they did was an oil change and inspection ! which is not even the primary reason i was dropping my car off for. I call the agent and tell him i will need a car to pick me up from home and please have a loaner car ready for me. at 4PM i get there, only to find out the loaner was not in the system, only other car they had was a manual, which i dont know how to drive. i am extremely frustrated at this point, as i took my day off from work to get this done, as they dont do detail on saturdays. its 4:30PM, my car has not been serviced and i have no car to rent. manager assures me enterprise is 5 minutes away, and they will be here soon to pick me. I waited 30 minutes, and there was no sign of them. at this point i went to one of the ladies and asked her to please get this sorted out, my whole day has been wasted and i have other errands to run. she says enterprise will be here in few mins. just wait. enterprise guy comes and at the same time, my agent comes and tells me they have a loaner car ready for me. everything is taken care of. phew. i was relieved. finally i can get out of here and move on with my day. they do the paperwork. i go see the car, windshield is dirty. inside it has coffee and white substance covered on the driver side seat and door. it has not even been vacuumed. enterprise has left. i tell my agent, i have had enough of this, please just return my car, i simply can not waste any of my time on this. he went and got my car. he spoke to his manager, and did not bill me for the services they performed. (services i didnt really need, i just added at the last minute out of convenience, what i really needed was the interior detail) I still insisted on payment as it was the right thing to do . but agent refused.
whole day wasted and they were not able to perform the service i had dropped my car off for at 10AM !
very unreliable and total disrespect of other peoples time. very frustrating and disappointing experience.

my sales person was AWESOME and very patient . He wanted to make sure we had a great experience and was educated and aware of all the options that Mcdavid could offer to us .
Let me just say for the record , I'm not a fan of dealerships and neither am i a fan of how long it takes to process thing at a dealership and it was definitely a LONG 3 days just to purchase this vehicle and after it all ,
I am still just a little confused about what a certified vehicles means to MCDAVID HONDA but i do know a certified vehicle has a heavier price tag to pay. Thanks to the Tech guy Shane who sold me on the goods and the bads of this vehicle but i was ready to walk away.
My car still had issue that needed to addressed before going into financing , even thought it just passed the 5 point check. confusing right
It also wasn't detailed (the interior) correctly, all they did was smear oil armor on everything(seats , windows, steering wheel and the dashboards) , it stained my cloths and just made my finger sticky . i guess that just the easiest way to clean things.
My sales guys manager didn't show much interest in all that was going on and very unbothered by the many questions we still had on day 2. it was all about making the sale for him .
When we got to financing J i believe was all about the numbers, shocker, lolz but he helped as much as he could with making the deal affordable .
so thats my feedback on my experience, I was trying to get this review over to the service advisor but i still haven't heard anything back . I send an email and made several call attempts to reach out to them . within the last 2 weeks since iv made my purchase.
I just wish my 3- days at the dealership could of been much easier and faster. Being knowledgeable and patient in the sales industry is key to referrals , great integrity and peoples time. I don't want to waste your time as much as i don't want you wasting my time .Time is of essences

I took my car in on a Monday evening to get an oil change, and subsequently found out I needed a tire patch because a nail was found in my tire. Gannon was my service contact and was great at informing me about the costs, options and time it would take for each service. I was there awhile, but it was a pleasant experience, and Im so grateful they checked my tires so Im not endangering myself when i get on the road. I really appreciate the Honda service dept staying open late to accomodate their customer s busy schedules.

My overall buying experience was good. Once I decided on the vehicle, the buying process only took just under 2 hours, which is far quicker than any of my other experiences.

But, the "New Owners" clinic was very disappointing as the food was terrible! Who wants to eat a salad and pasta without meat? They should have offered a non-vegetarian option. The informative portion of the clinic did not make me aware of anything new since everything discussed at the clinic I was made aware of by the Sales Associate and Financial Services Specialist.

The level of care and service provided by Dylan Flatt, Service Advisor, was more than excellent. As a result, this location will be my primary Honda Dealership for service going forward, and will be the location for the purchase of a new Civic in the near future.

I just bought a new car from here. The overall experience is good, most of them are friendly and helpful, but I felt really bad at the end of the day in the last step.
The whole process is almost done and the last step is do some paper work for the finance stuff. A guy in finance dept was trying to sell me the Honda care and extended warranty and keep talking about this about 20 minutes. I asked him that if this is the only time we can buy this warranty and he told me yes. But I need more time to think about it. He also told me that there is a 60% possibility that the electronical or mechanical part will have a issue within 5 years. But I ready doubt this number and source of his data. So I told him that I can t make a decision at this time. And then he told me that it is very silly if I don t buy this. Oh that made me really disappointed because there is no respect for him especially in front of his customers. I still don t understand why he said the customers are silly.

I have been using this dealership for regular service on my vehicle for years, and I recently returned to finally purchase a new vehicle. Hoss was very patient with me and worked hard to help me decide on the best purchase options for me. After negotiating with the sales manager, I was pleased with the purchase offer that I ended up choosing. There were a couple hiccups with finalizing my financing a week or so after the sale, but it ended up fine.
