I ve bought many cars through many dealers over the years. I ve also dealt with many salesman, finance managers, sales managers, etc. Terrance - my salesman - is the most knowledgeable salesman that I ve ever had the privilege of working with. Terrance is a subject matter expert. He was fully aware of all available features between all different variants of the Honda Civic. His knowledge on the operation of all features and technology is extensive. Hands down, the best direct sales experience I ve had thus far. Dealing with the sales department of Honda of Frisco was superb. I asked for the best price and was given their best price. There was no wasting time with unnecessary negotiations. This may not seem like a big deal, however, after having dealt with numerous sales departments through many purchases; this was refreshing. The finance department was excellent as well. My finance manager, Youness, was very personable, honest, and was more than willing to accommodate my request. Once again, negotiations were forthright and extremely fair. This car buying experience is the 2nd best experience that I ve ever had - second only to Mercedes-Benz. If you re currently in the market for a new or used Honda, and you want the best price in town, and excellent service; Honda of Frisco is your dealership.

We recently purchased a new Civic for our daughter at this dealership. Brad Dechent was our salesperson and he was very helpful. He was very thorough and patient, and explained all the features of the car to our daughter. Brad worked hard to solve all the issues associated with the transaction. As many of us know, the process of buying a car can drag on, but Brad was very efficient and forthright. We would definitely recommend Brad as a great salesperson at this dealership.

So, having already test driven the 2WD when the 2017 Ridgeline first came out, and secured the funding needed, we went to the closest dealer to BUY ... not to shop but to BUY. But, we only had an hour to get the AWD test drives (Leigh and me) in before another appointment.
I walk in and say (to an apparent mute named Ron), "We only have an hour and need to drive the 2017 Ridgeline, in AWD, Dark Grey, and with as many options as you have in inventory". Ron passes me to another apparent mute who 20 minutes later returns with a list of inventory and a spin worked out to upsell me to the Black Edition we were standing beside when I specifically asked for a Dark Grey one.
That 20 minutes burned in his effort to upsell us cost us the time needed for the test drive we needed, and cost this dealership the sale.
Both of these mutes were clearly too egotistical to actually listen to the customer. Both were overly focused on maximizing their commissions by disregarding the customer, and with that experience, I feel the need to warn others and take my money elsewhere.
I bought my car at the end of April this year and have been nothing but impressed since. In the beginning I had a few issues with the car that were immediately taken care of by Greg V., the greatest, best, most helpful, amazing service representative there!
Prior to this I've never gotten my oil changes done at the dealership but I will with this car since it's such a pleasure to go to the dealership. :)

My experience here was pretty mixed, mostly negative, but I could say that about most car dealerships.
Many of the people here are your common stereotypical sleaze and incompetence from car dealerships. Ray tried to sell me a used car we weren't remotely interested in (we told him we did not want that year multiple times), and kept emailing/calling us about it. Their price was about 4k over market, so I imagine he wanted that big profit margin and figured I was a good mark. Yeah bro, I'm sure a 2013 Fit for 17000 is a great deal, especially when I could drive about 2 miles down the road and buy a 2015 for 12000-13000. I told him I was looking for a new car, and he kept trying to push me into a used car anyway. A girl that was with us during a test drive was on her phone the entire time, and couldn't tell us the difference between and LX and Sport model.
When I started looking at new cars I talked to Sergei, whom I apparently knew more than about Hondas. He told me a 2017 had an updated visual, and it was 2015 when they changed it. He also didn't know that 2014 was the year that a Fit was not produced. He also kept trying to push me into a Fit when that wasn't the car I wanted.
They claimed to not negotiate on pricing more than a few hundred dollars, so I walked out, and then suddenly over the phone the price of the car dropped 1500+... I still get the feeling that I was ripped off by a few hundred dollars, because every time I talked to them about pricing the numbers changed.
After sealing the deal, the finance department then tried to tack on the Extended Warranty, and KEPT TALKING ABOUT IT FOR LITERALLY 30 MINUTES ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. I said no nearly a dozen times and they wouldn't continue the deal. Apparently you can just cancel it, so I went ahead with the deal just to get it over with.
I almost walked out at least twice. If not for Mark I would have bought somewhere else.
Such a smooth and straightforward experience with David Rivera. He went above and beyond to meet my needs as a buyer and I absolutely love my CPO CR-V purchase. It was spotless inside and out and in such great condition. I ve bought two cars there in the past and will probably be back again (but not too soon, it s a Honda after all ).

Every employee there was nice to us and nobody made us feel pressured, and that was something I was dreading. Keith was our salesman. He listened to us and helped us work out a way that we could repair our credit and own a nice, dependable vehicle!

We were able to purchase a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with just over 9,000 miles with a low down payment, a warranty and a great monthly payment that fits into our budget. We are so pleased with the whole experience, these folks hit the ball out of the park!

He was very patient w/me as this was my first experience in purchasing a Honda & I'm happy that he took so much time allowing me to drive several cars & explaining the differences so I could make a more informed decision. Since my purchase he's contacted me on a couple of different occasions to make sure I was happy w/my car & to answer any questions. Been a fan of McDavid Honda for many years, with a nice selection of vehicles. The staff is very helpful. My sales person, James, and Eric Battles who helped with finance options were both knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I failed to get the young gals names at reception, but both were very attentive and showed me where I could get a bottle of water. Test driving was easy, and as in the past, a superior ride. I checked out the nearby Toyota and Lexus dealerships, and their selection wasn t of much interest. I actually don t find the front grills on many of Lexus vehicles to be attractive and they are probably a pain to keep clean. There is a lot of choices and competition theses days, but Honda still comes in at the top with style, value and practical features. I could also plug their resale value, except every Honda I get always lasts more than a decade, so I have a hard time letting them go as they feel like a family member with lots of good memories on the road.
Please read one star reviews before buying the cars. They are stealing people's money. I thought my stupidness cause the problem but they are very good at stealing money from the people's pocket. I read same experience from other reviews.
Timmy Tran has been my Service Adviser for over a year now. One of the most pleasant and friendly persons to work with. The best part I like with him is that he never tries to upsell you anything unless absolutely needed. I have another car from another Manufacturer and whenever I go for Servicing at another Dealership, I get a laundry list of things advising me to do which I honestly don't think are needed.

Classic bait and switch, emailed one price (out the door) for new Honda accord and when I came in to the shop, the price shared with me was $8000 higher, this happened more than once; took my business elsewhere.

The service was amazing and so was the hospitality area. But the salesman that was pushing me to buy a car while I waited was crossing the line in sales ethics. Long after my car was already finished, he held onto my keys and kept showing me cars. He didn't let me drive out with my own car until my toddler finally diarrhea'd in one of his cars.

My salesman Scott Williams was upfront and honest and I appreciated that very much however his manager and up our bunch of liars and snakes. I found out they fired the salesman because he couldn't get more money from for the sale. How pathetic!! I thought this nonsense ended in the 80s. Went there to buy a used Accord 2 months ago. The salesman was very helpful and informative, and once I told them what I was looking for they showed me all of the available cars in my price range. They gave me a huge EXPENSIVE list of things they claim my car needed; most of which had been done already within the last 3k miles! I feel like they tried to take advantage of me. I will never go to the dealership for any kind of service on my car again. Any money they would or could save me on an oil change (which is what I went for), was not worth all the stress they caused me.
Lee was a pleasure to deal with. Our finance guy (I believe his name was John) was a hoot too. Overall, the time it took to walk out the door with the car we wanted was good. Would definitely go back for my next purchase.

I felt duped when I got their "President's Day Sale' email with super-low car prices, then, hidden down in the email in small type was 'Payments above are one pay leases.'. I just despise these type of sale tactics. I want a dealer who will make every effort not to be misleading and this email didn't inspire such confidence.
My car has been being scratched during the service (oil change and tile rotation) in David McDavid Honda of Frisco.
I am sure there have no scratch before I left the car to their staff. The manager showed me a document that says the damage has already been marked by their staff when he took my car. They said they will not take care of the damage depend on the paper work. The paper request a customer signature but I found that is not my signature on the paper.
They do not want take their responsibility for the damage they put on my car.

Worst car buying experience I've ever had! Employees were rude and unhelpful, management did nothing but make excuses. I was given the runaround by several people (including the manager) and treated as if I had no idea how buying a car works. I would by no means recommend this dealership to anyone!

Went in to have airbag replaced, and 100,000 mile check up. Mechanics found & repaired a small oil leak and replaced spark plugs. ... a little pricey, but the work was done within a day, and with a complimentary rental car, the whole experience was painless. (minus the money out for repairs). John was the service rep and kept me up-to-date on the process and timeline. Will definitely go back to David McDavid.

I destroyed my right rear view mirror on my 2013 CRV. I went to another dealership and the price they quoted was much higher. I went back to David McDavid where I bought my car and received a fair quote.
Their work was quick and excellent.
Although they are a little far I would never think of taking my CRV anywhere else.
And of course they also washed the car!

One of THE best car buying experiences I've ever had. Bought a pre-owned vehicle from Eddie Hawk at David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Absolute class act guy, honest, and will work to get you the best deal. We worked out a deal over the phone, test drove and signed paperwork and was in and out of the dealership within an hour! All the staff that were there were very accommodating, and never felt pressured to buy the vehicle at any moment! My next Honda will be from this dealership.
At my daughter's urging we visited David McDavid Honda last Monday. She and her husband drive and love Acuras. I had driven luxury vehicles(BMW, LEXUS, Cadillac) for 30 years before opting for a lease moderate vehicle two years ago. Came to Honda to try the Accord. Ed Nogar contacted us and was a delight to work with. After bringing several cars to drive we decided on a loaded Civic. I love the car, and I feel that I did get a great deal. The staff appeared unsure of how the computer program(s) worked. Multiple men were also too familiar in their personal addresses to myself as a woman. I do not like to be described based on my appearance as if I should be gratified to be objectified. Your new financial manager was wonderful. Polite, professional, friendly. I've worked with him in the past at another Honda dealership and was pleased with his work then as well. Overall, don't leave new people alone when there is a deal being done. It's not helpful.
My car overheated on the weekend. I made an appointment online for Monday. Radiator needed changing out. I received a quote in a timely manner, approved the work, and even though I have an older model - 2001 Acura MDX - the work was completed early Tuesday. I have had several repairs and service work in the last few months, and all have been handled professionally and in a timely manner.
I have dealt with DMD Honda in the past and was greatly disappointed in the welcome to the dealership and overall impression of this dealership. However, I took a chance and went back to look and I can say that my opinion is forever changed. Working with Lexx Woodard and Chris Torres was as stress free as it could possibly be when purchasing a new car. Both listened to my situation of a bit of negative equity and did everything they could to get me into one of the two vehicles I was interested in. After working with Lexx via email in the beginning to get all the information he needed to go to work for me, I visited the dealership on march 17th and went back on the 18th to pick up my new car. Even Seth Baker in Finance was very patient and answered all questions I had and was sure to explain everything very clearly. If you are in the market for a new Honda, this is the place to go. I had a bad experience at others in the past and here they will lay everything out for you in detail and make sure you are happy. I will definitely be going back in the future when it is time for me to trade again. We recently purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot from David McDavid of Frisco and it was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I have ever had. They were extremely busy that night and we were assigned Carl Scott Jr. for our sales consultant. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car and all of its features. He took great care in listening to us to find out exactly what I was looking for. He was able to locate a car I was looking for and we ended up purchasing the car I test drove. They take great care of their inventory and the car was immaculate when it was brought to me. Overall, we had a fabulous experience!
After having a horrible and I mean horrible sales experience at Honda of McKinney, I headed over to David McDavid. I am so thankful that I did. My salesperson, Keith Burr, was awesome and so was the sales manager. John Brown. They were so polite and not condescending to me or my son at all. I made an appointment and dropped my vehicle off on time. After picking up my car and drove home, I noticed scratches on my vehicle which were not there when I brought it in for the repair. I also noticed my tire pressure notice was on, yet I was told everything was checked and good. I was very disappointed..

It started out as a 1 star and upgraded it to a 5 star because of Mo Khalaf and Sydney. Mo called me and worked out the deal and I got the price I was promised. Sydney who was awesome took care of the paperwork and handover of the vehicle after finance took care of the contract signing.
I noticed a chip in the glass after Sydney walked us out and I informed Mo on Monday and he told me to call service and they will replace the glass for free.

Horrible, rude sales manager / associates. It s almost like they don t want your business. If you ever been car shopping and had a bad experience, I can almost guarantee that you ll have a bad experience here for sure. No one cares that you re there and they leave you for long period of times. Sales guy kept taking his calls on his cellphones while barely talking to us. Prices didn t match the tags or what sales guy talked about. All kinds of red flags. Would avoid and try lute Riley or maybe even another location.
This is my Third Honda purchase at David McDavid as of 5-15-16... I can say they work hard to make you happy and make you feel like Family.. Keith Burr and Kevin Young worked hard for me and I'm very pleased with my car.. If you're looking for a preowned used vehicle or even a new car David McDavid should be your first choice..

BEWARE scam company...Finance ripped off my wife. traded in my car that we owed 9k on. Trade in value is 13k. (4k difference...meaning we should have a 4k credit towards any car.) We had an instant offer at carmax for 13k. She traded in the car...instead of taking 4k off the car, they added 9k to it and told her since she still had 9k left on the trade in, that she would have to still finance that. Totally took advantage of a innocent consumer. BEWARE...just another shiesty car dealer. Check their reviews on yelp...they suck. Go somewhere else. I told all my neighbors and 2 of them already went somewhere else and had better experiences. I'm sure they will never reach out and fix this as they have no integrity from my experience.
