I had my 2013 Honda Pilot serviced and I had the worst experience. My wife and child took the Pilot for a routine oil change and they recommended I get my timing belt tensioner replaced due to leaking which was quoted about $900. I took it for a 2nd opinion and I was informed there was no leak in to my timing belt tensioner and I took photos to show the advisor and manager at Honda the very next day. I was advised by Honda advisor and manager that they would need to look at the Honda which I took today and 4 technicians looked at it and could not find the leak that they advised me I had.
The worst part is that they accused me of cleaning the area where the leak would be and did not take any accountability for trying to fraud me to fix something that was not broken. They advised me they can take everything a part to research further which could take another 2 hours which I did not have time. I believe this is a major issue and I thought Honda had more integrity, especially since I have been a life long owner of Honda purchasing 3 vehicles. This caused me to have lost trust in the dealership service team and I will not be getting any of my Honda vehicles serviced through the dealership.
