Remodelled office of Honda McDavid in Frisco is fantastic. Recently I took my 2019 Car for 1st service...very professional and courteous service. Staff and Technicians are committed to provide par excellence Customer service. I must mention that their service in 2018 was not all that great and left lot of things in scope for improvement. Pleasantly this year in 2020 my experience is great...whatever you guys did keep it up and more importantly, maintain the service levels intact. In current market conditions it does matter.

David Rivera was our sales representative along with our financial representative Melvin Jimenez. Both gentleman were outstanding and are exceptional at their careers. Upon coming to Honda I was greeted by others sales representatives making me feel confident and welcome at a dealership. David and Melvin offer me a cup of coffee and water with such great kindness. I was a Mcdavid for 6 hours and through that time David and Melvin sure did took care of me, my father and brother. David specially was really patient with me after making many phone calls and was respectful at the inquiries that I ask. Melvin was really helpful and kind taking care of all my family and sure did gave us an outstanding and understandable deal. David and Melvin are what McDavid Frisco represents to me.

This was my first experience with Honda of Frisco and I was not disappointed. I was searching for a used, low-mileage, Toyota Highlander. I made inquiry for one with this auto seller and got a response from Maggie Bartram. Maggie acted with class as she made an appointment for me to come over and see/test drive the vehicle. Prior to this experience, I had other test driving appointments at other places, but Maggie was a class above the rest. Long story short, my wife and I purchased the Highlander Maggie showed us. We are happy with our purchase and look forward to doing business with Honda of Frisco again.

Scott Rideout and Pooya were professional and wanted to sell a vehicle. Scott went with us on a test ride and pointed out all the various qualities on the car as well as answered all questions that we asked. The Costco rep. (Mallory) was relatively rude and would not show us the Costco pricing as required and said she would not go below the Costco pricing for us. She acted as if she cared less if we bought the car or not. She had a smirk on her face the entire length of our meeting with her and Scott. In my opinion she has limited or no people skills and does not present a good image of the dealership. We left the dealership after our meeting with her. Pooya called my wife the following day and inquired about our meeting and asked if we could come back in and meet with him he felt we could make a deal without the Costco rep. intervening. We went in, met with Scott and Pooya and purchased a vehicle. Additionally Seth in financial was pleasant to work with and very professional and worked with us on the financing.
Other than Malllory the buying experience went relatively well.
Honestly my least favorite thing to do is to purchase a vehicle from a dealership but overall it was not that bad this time.

My spouse takes her Honda Accord to David McDavid Honda of Frisco for all her services. She has never had an issue until this last time. She brought her car in for new brake pads and rotors. The job was done in two days and service was promptly communicated. Great service I believed ;however, after leaving the dealership (next day) I get a flat tire. No big deal, flats happen except what happened next when I proceeded to change the tire.

There I noticed all the lug nuts were tough to loosen. Each of the wheel lugs was over-torqued so hard that it made a pop sound just to get them to start loosening. Then it happened on the third lug. The stud snapped with a the lug seized. On the fourth wheel lug I noticed the threads peeling/stripping from the lug and stud. Same with the 5th wheel lug. So many metal shavings. Drove it a quarter-mile down the road to a local shop and the my mechanic confirmed the rest of the wheels weren't torqued to spec.

You would think when you bring a car to a manufacturer affiliated service center they wouldn't over-torque the wheels. You pay a premium to get it serviced at the dealership and shouldn't come away with more damage ($$$$) due to carelessness or rushed service.

Honda service team is the best! even after the long time advisor that used to assist us left, every one after him is been equally good or better. Honest, transparent, highly profesional service every time. If you need a car get one from them and if you already have a Honda don't look further go there for service!

I brought my Acura in for an oil change and state inspection that I reserved through the dealership web site. I arrived at the reservation time of 11:40am. The service advisor said it would take about and hour and a half. They finished up at 2:30pm. 3 hours. I made note of it to the service advisor and he basically shrugged. I can go to any number of Kwik Kars or other mechanics and be out in an hour. Terrible customer service.

I can not speak more highly of Dylan Flatt, Service Advisor, for his professionalism and can-do attitude. On the week of October 21st, I noticed a situation where my driver side door has become mis-aligned and would catch on the front driver side panel. My concern was that eventually, the door would catch the panel and would cause it to eventually pop off. I brought it to this dealership for it to be reviewed. Dylan serviced me, and was not able to identify what caused the situation. However, instead of claiming no knowledge, and suggest that I look elsewhere for a resolution, he took it upon himself to rectify the situation. Not only did take the time to re-align the door, even though I arrived unannounced and without an appointment, he also applied touch-up paint to the affected area. At the end, not only did Dylan solve the problem, the paint he applied made it appear that there was never an issue to begin with. Many hats off to Dylan for his exceptional customer service, and for management of this dealership allowing the flexibility for a busy employee to fix a problem that sprung up unannounced.

I was at David McDavid Honda of Frisco used car sales for approximately 2 & 1/2 hours on Tues, Nov. 10, 2020, during which time I had to REPEATEDLY ask for: #1, the price listed on their internet ad (sales, M.Masud) and #2, a final price without any warrantee (finance, Howard). As a customer who has purchased numerous vehicles, I, unfortunately, understand that this is "business as usual"; however, it made my purchasing experience a VERY negative one. I left feeling as if I had been bullied and harassed for having an opinion that differed from Howard's and whoever Masud had to "ask". What should have been an easy, uncomplicated purchase was dragged out until all I wanted was to go home with or without a vehicle. I'm very satisfied with my vehicle. I just truly wish the industry as a whole would change their tactics of "wear the potential buyer down". As a female buyer with an informed, firm idea of what I needed, the experience was VERY intimidating, and that isn't how the second most expensive purchase of a person's lifetime should ever feel.

I bought my Honda here in Dec 2013. The experience went well. Since then I went back to trade in my Honda and it has been a complete nightmare. I wasnt sure If I wanted to buy new or used this time. I called the used car department to get a quote. The salesman Eddie was very rude and told me "he wasnt going to talk to any WOMAN on the phone about numbers. I personally went to the dealership to complain and they didn't care. I had told myself I would never go there again. I stopped getting my car serviced there and went anywhere else. Then again last week I wanted to trade in my Honda for a new one. They treated me terrible again. They said my credit wouldn't fly with Honda Finance. I had my car for 2 yrs with perfect payments financed with Honda. The real story is Honda wouldn't finance the numbers they were trying to get them too. They would never tell me price of the car, the price they would give me for my trade or anything. Just because I am a women doesn't mean I don't know what a number is. I went to Toyota. I have the best buying experience of my Life. I bought a 2015 with Toyota financing at much lower interest rate than Toyota. I will never in my life go back to HONDA or David McDavid.

Needed oil change on 6/13/19 at McDavid Honda of Frisco. Decided to ask about my tires and if it's possible to get credit for premature wear. My service advisor, Ana Winchester, was extremely helpful and personable. She did the leg work to work to see what Michelin might be able to do. In the end, it was very positive experience and got a nice credit. Ended up getting 4 new Michelin tires - same as what came with my 16 Ody Touring.

I got the exact car I wanted at the price I wanted and the whole buying process was a lot of fun. Since I was there on customer appreciation day, I even was given a free lunch while they were preparing all the paperwork. Li from financing helped me take care of all the details and was great. I do not write reviews normally but I had to write as I had a terrible experience today.
I was at their location for a Transmission/oil change. Dropping off my car at that location was a breeze as I was promptly received by Mr Julio J Reys and promised me to take care of all in time.

But we I was there as to pickup, the whole scene was totally different. The same sales person who received me was nowhere to be found..I did later found him, but he was extremely busy.. So, waited around 20 min.... Then I approached another sales/service guy, he also directed to my same guy....
Meanwhile, I was reception if they can page him or get somebody else who can help me..... They say they will.. Another 10 min passed.... Nothing happened..

I decided to approach my sales/device guy...asking him when can I pick up my car.. at which he angrily retorted, asking me to till wait till he is done. I mentioned him that I have waiting since 20/25 minutes..at which he even started yelling.. asking me to come back later.. He was extremely rude and obnoxious..had no manners on how to talk to customers.

Looking at the commotion, another sales guy, I guess he was supervisor, took me aside. He finished my paperwork, payment and got my car out in 5 min. He also apologized for the inconvenience.
Never again will visit this place ever.

He met with my wife and daughter who is just getting her license and made them both feel so comfortable I just had to go there and buy a car. Maged s knowledge and personality was the best I have experienced in my 22 years of buying only Honda vehicles. They were really great. I went in due to a used Highlander they posted.

Shoaib was really nice and super knowledgeable about the Highlander which surprised me as they deal with mostly Hondas. He's a family guy that just moved to Texas recently and seems to really care about you as a person and not just a customer. Ask for him and he'll take care of you! I hate car salesman usually, but he was amazing! When I shook his hand, the first thing I said is "I don't plan on being there that long" (as I hadn't realized I going to a dealership) and he said no worries well make this as quick as possible.

He brought his manager, Kenneth, in because I was paying in full due to an insurance payout, but it was not the full amount they were asking for and I was not interested in any other vehicle. They could tell I was stuck on the highlander and didn't want to entertain the idea of any other vehicle so they didn't waste my time or theirs and worked with me on pricing. Also, since I was buying a used car, I signed for it "as is" but I was worried after driving it for a day due to seeing puddles underneath and Kenneth told me to bring it back in and they'd take care of it. They gave me a loaner car (the puddles I thought were oil, were actually from the A/C running so it was nothing) He made the mechanics check twice to make sure as well. (I drove it to Oklahoma and back the day I picked it up and it's in perfect mechanical condition)They had no responsibility and didn't have to do any of that for me but they did to ensure I was taken care of.

Ramone was the guy I signed the papers with and gave all my money to. He was great! He was really nice and tried to offer a warranty and stuff but didn't push it.

All three men were super friendly and mind you, I had a very energetic 1 year old boy with me and all 3 were great with him and very understanding. This was the biggest part of my thankfulness of them, my little guy wanted to run and get into everything and it didn't phase any of them, but instead they played with him, held him, and watched after him when he would try to run off to another area. None of them were annoyed or frustrated at all. If that's not great customer service, then I don't know what is.

However, my vehicle is still covered by a bumper to bumper warranty, and, I believe at the time of this repair/service the warranty is still in place. But, I was charged, $$$, for the replacement parts and labor cost.

Service fixed issues I was having previously but the technician left a big tool under the seat and I did not notice it too. I was in deep trouble when that tool rolled down and struck at the brake when I was trying to stop at a signal. Luckily there was no traffic during that time and my car was in the middle of 4 way intersection and used hand brake to stop the car. On the same day I called the service department and they took it easily as if its not their mistake and asked me to come and drop that tool at service center. Really disappointed the way the service department behaved with me. At that point onwards I decided to take my both cars to Irving Honda service center instead of Frisco.

I bought my car here last October. I was pleased with the overall buying experience although there were costs for the vehicle that didn't show online. I got over it and really liked my sales guy. I scheduled online service yesterday for pickup. Got a call that it has to be 8am even tho the website allows you too book it. I said fine...do it tomorrow. There are online coupons cool...we settle it. At noon I called today to see why my car isn't picked up. When they revised my apt the guy said I would wait. Okay. Let's do it Monday. But the coupons expire tomorrow and you can't use them if they pick up your car. That's not online in the coupon nor was it said to me yesterday. Im paying $25 to have you pick it up. I said nevermind...I will find a different dealership and they were okay with that..and so stay away is my advice. They literally do not care about your service business.

I didn't purchase my vehicle here however I do take my car in to get serviced regularly. The service center here is so clean, organized and customer friendly. I appreciate those things however the main reason I keep going back is because of my service adviser Tad. He is knowledgeable, polite and professional. He always makes sure my car is taken care of and makes my experience stress free. I would recommend this service center and mostly Tad to my friends and family!

Brought in my car for a state inspection so I could get my car registered. I just moved to the Dallas area. After having my car for a mere 30 minutes they came up with over $1700 of repairs that I needed to have done and that several parts of my car were damaged and/or ruined and needed very immediate attention. However my car still passed inspection. I reached out to the person who has serviced my car for several years from my hometown and he looked into it only to find they were almost all false claims and the one that was real being charged almost double what it should have been. I felt extremely taken advantage of and I can only imagine how many other people have fallen into this. I will say the person who assisted me was very kind but overall was very unhappy with this experience.

Mike took great care of me. He explained service needs to me, got my car back to me quickly and applied applicable coupons to my bill.

I must say I am not a fan of the new yellow / red classification for service recommendations they propose. While a brake job was coded yellow, there was also an alignment recommended - coded red. I agreed the brake job was needed. But I had no indications the alignment was off. Tire wear was even and the car does not drift or pull to one side. Red should be reserved for safety concerns or risk of major damage to the car.

Worst oil change experience! I was made to pay for an oil pan repair because they broke the oil pan screw stripping. They blamed it on the previous repair shop. I waited for over 5 hours to get my car back. At one point during the conversation they refused to even tap the screw ridge and said the only thing they would offer is a oil pan change which would cost me in excess of $500.

In reference to Collin Baker s response:
It is unfortunate that Honda customer reps / service department heads describe data they enter on their own as records. The fact of the matter is that the oil pan was undamaged when the car came in. The damage occurred when your team of unscrewed the oil pan. It is easy to blame other shops for your mistakes and making the customer pay for it.

My overall experience was very positive. They were able to quickly and accurately appraise my trade in vehicle, and working with Scott M and Sergio A was a pleasure. They were able to find the vehicle I was looking for without any issues, and took extra time from their days to work and find the best financing option we could. Their patience with me as I switched around what I was looking for until I finally decided on one shows that they were interested in more than moving people along, and wanted to be sure I was happy with the purchase.

Honda of Frisco always does a great job with my vehicle maintences. Even though most times they a long wait list and it's far from where I live, I prefer to go to the Frisco location over others because their service is outstanding! Have no complaints, have been going there for about 5 years and service keeps getting better. Even through pandemic, that's awesome!

Great experience. Called them on my way into work one morning about a CRV I saw online. They had me pull in their lot and swapped keys with me so I could test drive it to work. Was able to handle most of the business over the phone that day and drive it home that night!
