My spouse takes her Honda Accord to David McDavid Honda of Frisco for all her services. She has never had an issue until this last time. She brought her car in for new brake pads and rotors. The job was done in two days and service was promptly communicated. Great service I believed ;however, after leaving the dealership (next day) I get a flat tire. No big deal, flats happen except what happened next when I proceeded to change the tire.

There I noticed all the lug nuts were tough to loosen. Each of the wheel lugs was over-torqued so hard that it made a pop sound just to get them to start loosening. Then it happened on the third lug. The stud snapped with a the lug seized. On the fourth wheel lug I noticed the threads peeling/stripping from the lug and stud. Same with the 5th wheel lug. So many metal shavings. Drove it a quarter-mile down the road to a local shop and the my mechanic confirmed the rest of the wheels weren't torqued to spec.

You would think when you bring a car to a manufacturer affiliated service center they wouldn't over-torque the wheels. You pay a premium to get it serviced at the dealership and shouldn't come away with more damage ($$$$) due to carelessness or rushed service.
