Lance of David McDacid Frisco allowed me to come in at time of night my usual Lewisville Honda location told me their main tech guys had already been sent home (although it was hours before they closed). He was kind and listened to my list of could be problems. I was not only able to get my issue fixed quickly and on the night I had time to do it, but, he also honored my coupon from my usual location! Lance explained the invoice and handed me the completed copy, as if that weren't enough, I had to go back in and be "that girl" because I had one more question about something the other dealership had told me with regards to my visit and the maintenance of my Honda!!

I had my car service done here for the first time; the atmosphere at this Honda dealership is very professional and friendly. Everyone there was willing to help out immediately.
During my service, I was first contacted and asked before any additional services could be done to my car, with the cost of those services shown, which I really appreciated.

Also, I waited at the dealership while my car was getting serviced because I m interested in getting a new car. Once again, everyone was friendly and I was helped immediately. The salesperson who helped me out (Mike) and a new trainee kept me entertained during my wait as well.

I ll definitely will be going back here for my future services on my car.

NO TRUST of Service. I had my oil changed and tires re-rotated a while back and mentioned that the tires were noisy and I had rotated them about 5,000 previously. Since a lease and I assume to cya any warranty, the service manager put in the comments that I had not rotated them properly!! It took about an hour longer than estimated to do such a small job. And finally, they had the audacity to slap on one of their license plate holders for advertising without even asking. Will Not go back.

When you bought a car or used car over there. You should check the "WE OWED" paper well. I bought the Honda Certified Pre Owned car in this used car dealership. And on the template, the website and the dealer told me that "Honda Certified Pre Owned car comes with two remote keys. So the other key will be here after 3 to 6 months later, if the key come then I will contact you back". This was a lie and they deceived customer. I was so busy so i cannot go there again and get the key so this summer I go there and asked about the key. But what they said the paper said we owed you nothing. So they cannot make another key for me. It doesn't make sense. And now they said the key can be made within 1 hour. not takes 3 to 6 month and it is too late to check you get one key or two keys from us. So they cannot make the key for me. So What I want to tell you. What you need to fix for your new car whatever it is. Those every single details are needed to be on the "WE OWED" paper. Write down everything!! Such as small dent in the body or small chip in the windshield or like me the other keys. Other than that they will just printed "NOTHING" in there. They told me a lie when they sold the car and they were so greedy and deceived. I am disappointed not the other key but their services and immoral behavior.

I own a 2015 Honda Odyssey which I brought brand new from Autonation Honda 385 during their first days of grand opening.
During Mar 2020, my van started showing Engine alert during my trip to my sisters family who lives in Frisco TX. I promptly took it to nearest Honda authorized dealer - David McDavid Honda. They diagnosed misfire in one of the cylinders and took about 3 days to fix the problem. Everything was covered under Honda Warranty.
I came back to Memphis once it is fixed, as you all know unfortunately COVID hit USA and we are all working from home. I drove the van only few miles after coming back due to the pandemic, the same problem started happening in June2020, I again promptly took to the Autonation Honda 385 dealer.
To be clear the same exact problem reappeared in few days from initial repair, Honda and its affiliates bluntly disowning the issue and want you to bear all the expenses for this reoccurring problem. Honda is not willing to share any details on how they came to decision to disown this issue - their representatives even shout you down even though they truth is on my side. More over they took 2 months to come to this conclusion, kept my van with them during this period.
Be aware of buying Honda, their warranty programs because Honda is blunt in saying that if you had your vehicle repair issue performed during last days of warranty and the same problem shows up again in few days when your vehicle warranty is no longer valid, Honda customer service will not hesitate a moment to push you into the ocean stating that you have to pay for your repair. No fun, hence be aware of their game plan better to get out of our love towards Honda vehicles.

McDavid Honda did not try to call me back even once to explain their position - That should tell you how much they care their customers, They only have love for your money.

We worked with Jeremy Hormell and James Brown to lease the new Honda Civic with Honda Sensing. This is a gorgeous car with so many cool features that we are really excited about AND we could not have asked for a better buying experience!! After talking to several dealers around the Dallas metroplex, we felt most comfortable at David McDavid -- Jeremy went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with the car and provided us an excellent deal without even having to negotiate. We will definitely be leasing from him again in the future!

Justin was excellent in explanation and i liked the automated system which gave me a name and number to call almost immediately after i was checked in...........i felt connected even though i was gone from the dealership all day. Also liked the 4 maps on the bulletin board so we could fit ourselves in the proper quadrant and get a ride home from one of your drivers. All appreciated, thank you. Lastly, the chicken muffins were a nice touch while we waited!

Jeff in Service has provided excellent service & support and provides valuable input on necessary repairs. The service from this dealership is excellent. Also, Bill in Parts has been great to work with to find, order, and purchase parts from. If parts have to be ordered, they usually arrive the next day at the dealership. Keep up the great work, McDavid Honda Frisco!

Overall it was a decent experience. The car I bought had some issues with it, like the plastic backs of the seat falling off both Passenger and Diver side within 2 days of me owning it. It looked like they rigged it so I wouldn't notice it. I also had to fill up my own gas tank, text them the receipt for my complimentary tank fill up and wait for them to mail me a check. I had to follow up with them on it as well. Typical dealership, nothing special.

I had been to DavidMcDavid Honda of Frisco last Saturday. I had a problem with my Rear side of the car. There was a strange sound from the rear side of the car (External) and I was not sure what it was. So, I took my car to DavidMcDavid. I met the Service Advisor - CHARLES HART - who offered to help me out. He joined me in my car for several Test Rides to figure out the problem, but to my bad luck, we could not hear that sound at all on that day. I had told him that I hear this sound (similar to jinging of bells) only when I drive over a Speed Bump or an Uneven road, and not on Flat Roads. Even though, we did pass over several speed bumps, we could not reproduce that issue. But, still Charles went out of his way, and tried all means to help me out. He also did check and tighten the screws on the Registration plates, if that may have caused the issue. But, we were not sure. So, even though my problem is not resolved yet, but I would want to appreciate Charles for his attitude and Service nature !! Thanks Charles.

We were trying to buy a used car and ended up at the dealership based on our neighbor's recommendation. Our experience was pretty good overall. We worked with Farid - he was very polite and courteous. Unfortunately, we couldn't work out pricing but that was mostly because of our expectations being incorrect. The only downside is the amount of parking space for customers. Its pretty limited and busy days like Saturdays it can get real tight.

I am revising my review because things have gone downhill in service here. The last time we returned and released a vehicle it was a nightmare and I almost gave up trying to get the dealership to even respond to me. The last two times I have tried to get service no one knows what is going on - you can make a reservation but unless you call and talk to them the information you your online service request is not accurate or honored. Sadly this makes them like most other dealerships which is a low bar and I have lowered my rating accordingly.

Today I purchased my third vehicle from this dealership. Who does that anymore? I have to say this is the best dealership I have ever dealt with in terms of transparency, satisfaction and making sure things are right for the customers. I had exceptional service from Sam, Youness and John in this most recent purchase. I have been getting my vehicles service here for years and Tad has been a top notch person to work with for maintenance. If you need a new Honda or want a good price for honest work on your existing one, you owe it to yourself to check out this dealership.

So we were recommended to go to this dealership by my uncle. Going in, we were planning to buy a new car and the whole process of discussing a price was very time consuming (about 2 hours long). When we finally agreed on a price, we also had a aircheck voucher. Since we didn't bring in the car that we planned to trade in, we had to go back home and retrieve the car. Upon arriving back, the whole process for them to check our old car took about 2 hours long. Afterwards, when we were just about to complete the deal, they decided that the agreed price was not suitable for them and wanted to raise the price up about $1,000. Long story short, we wasted a lot of time in the end and not ended up buying the car because we had previously agreed on a price. The problem was the general manager wanting to sell at an even higher price. Waste of time.

They offered me a ridiculously low price., and refused to give me a written offer. When I stopped by at Carmax, their offer is 10K more. Not only that, I feel I was very respected during the whole process . I do not want to single out anyone today, but my experience is that they do not care about their customers, only want to make more money from you. I will not buy and sell a car to them in the future.

I'm always a fan of taking my vehicle to David McDavid Honda in Frisco. The construction has made things a little hard to navigate, but their customer service in their service department has always delivered. They always take good care of me there, and I know that they are giving me one of the best rates around. Even if you could find it cheaper, you get what you pay for. I really appreciate how the service advisors are honest, and don't pressure me into services I don't need.
I've been taking my Honda vehicles here for years, and I will continue doing so!

I went to David Mcdavid Honda Frisco to inquire about a car. I provided all required paperwork. I was sold a used car with engine problems. I took the car back twice the same week I bought because the check engine light was on. After the second time I took it to them they never returned the car back to me and they claimed it was being fixed. Then they claimed the bank didn t believe my pay stubs were real so I gave them bank statements. They wanted more because I crossed out other personal accounts on the statements. I withdrew my application and gave the same pay stubs to another dealership and drove off the lot the same day with a car. NOW, David Mcdavid Honda is avoiding my calls and no one wants to talk about returning my down payment . Even the salesmen (Tommy Jackson) that worked with me, will not offer any assistance. The finance manager (Ron Jackson) that took the down payment won t talk to me either. Ron even had me to come back in to sign off on a paper that says if there is a problem we will settle it out of court through arbitration. I thought that was a little off because they made sure I signed everything befor I drove off the lot. Right after signing the arbitration form is when they started asking for mor income paperwork. I ve spoken to the General Manager Sonia Heredia and she said she ll talk with the finance team and call me back. I haven t heard back from her either. They even took money off my bank card for the loaner car. Looks like if you don t close a deal with them they write you off and avoid you. I just want my money back.

But I saw something that I had concerns about so I told them to do that in addition to the recall. All in all they finished in just about 2 hours. Excellent service and care. Thank you Megan.

My husband and I recently purchased a 2017 CRV from this dealership and we worked with salesperson, Michael Dillard. Michael was friendly and very knowledgeable about the CRVs. We did run into some issues during the negotiation phase. Unlike other dealerships, they indicate on their website that online quotes may be adjusted on site. It did take some time to get the online price we wanted and a better trade-in offer but what I appreciated throughout the process was that the team really worked with us to meet our needs and they made it clear that they wanted to do what they could to get our business. The dealership itself was very clean and professional with lots of activity. Overall we had a great experience and walked away with our new CRV! By the way, this was our 4th shopping attempt over the last year to get a CRV but David McDavid Honda of Frisco was finally able to match our requests. Thank you!!

Had a very pleasant experience with David McDavid until I got home and found a loaner car contract in the glovebox. They use cars off the lot for loaners for other customers and then sell them as brand new cars. Apparently this is policy. I was told the 375 miles already on the car were because it was traded with another dealership and the dealer would have driven the car to Frisco. I confronted the dealership about the contract that I found and I was told there was nothing they could do about it besides selling me an extended warranty. Will not be back to David McDavid. Be wary if the car has extra miles on it. They're probably lying about it.
