I just purachsed a vehicle at David McDavid Honda, Frisco, Texas, and I can't say enough about how helpful this dealership is/was. I originally reached out to Matt Cole and explained my situation with regard to needing a vehicle. My credit is NOT the best and I made them aware of it from the beginning. They said "Comon in, we can work with you"! Matt is one of the Managers who then passed me on to one of the best salesman I've dealt with in my past. Alex Lajas who works in their PreOwned department was patient, calm and NOT agressive although very knowledgable of thier inventory. Qualaties every salesman should have. He listend to my needs and found me the perfect car.

This purchase experience was awesome!!! We found the car, and no hassel negoation. Then off to credit. The process was made so easy and very little stress. Joshua in finance was quck and got me in an out in no time. In 3 hours I was sold and processed! Unheard of!!!

I HIGHLY recommed David McDavid Honda, Frisco, Tx, to everyone who's looking to buy. I'm sure ALL of their sales people are great but for me...ALEX LAJAS is one of their Super Stars!!!

David McDavid Honda of Frisco is absolutely the best dealership I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. One specific person who has always stood out to me and takes care of me every time I come in is Chris Kite. He was so courteous, makes sure that what they say they're going to do gets done and do it in the time frame he gives you. He return phone calls promptly and answers questions without the old "you'll have to bring it in" . I appreciate him more every time I take my car in. Thanks again Chris!

If you re not paying attention to all the details of the agreement, they will aim to screw you over. The whole car buying process took me nearly 3 days. I would not recommend working with a salesman named Magic. He ll make the process rough and not enjoyable. I bought the car at the end, but it wasn t a pleasant experience to say the least.

David Mcdavid Honda in Frisco made buying a car actually fun for once. We just bought a 2017 Honda CRV EXL and James Brown was our salesman. He took all the time we needed to learn the car controls (latest model has a lot of really cool technology features) and we never felt rushed and negotiated a great price for the vehicle. It was the most enjoyable car sale I ever had and I thank James and David Mcdavid Honda for their great support and very pleasant transaction.

Excellent all the way around! Mr. Brian welcomed me when I walked into the service department. L We spoke for a bit then he introduced me to "Mike Rowe, in the third row, next to the window." :) Mr. Rowe listened carefully and tooks notes as both Mr. Brian and I explained the trouble with my minivan. I was given a loaner car as it was Saturday morning and my car would not be complete until late in the day. Once the mechanics began to repair my minivan, they found they needed more parts than were ordered and it turned into a complicated repair. I understand completely, as cars are becoming more and more complicated as more and more electronics are placed in them. Everyone was right on top of everything, giving me status updates every step of the way. When I arrived to pick up my minivan, everyone was very cordial. Mr. Brian, again, warmly welcomed me. The three of us had a good conversation. It turns out Mr. Rowe used to work at the Honda dealer where I purchased my vehicle. It is nice to see that Honda Frisco understands how small the world really is and treats you as family.

I made the drive from Oklahoma City to purchase a certified Honda Pilot and had the pleasure of working with Becky Cunneen. Becky answered my initial questions via email and text and she was even able to hold the car for me while I made the drive. She had the paperwork ready to go when I got to the dealership and was able to work her magic to make sure everything was taken care of while I was there so I did not have to make the drive back. James Brown, with the finance department, worked some magic as well and I was able to get in and out of the dealership in three hours with the car and payment I wanted. If you cannot find what you are looking for in the Oklahoma City area, it is definitely worth the drive to David McDavid.

My experience at David Mcdavid Honda in Frisco couldn't have been better! Mallory and Lexie both took such great care of me. They worked with me to get me exactly what I wanted! The sales department and the maintenance department cannot agree on the maintenance plan, please don't tell any of your customers that you are different departments, you are both HONDA to your customers!

I purchased a Honda CR-V for $13750 on December 20...

I purchased a Honda CR-V for $13750 on December 2019 from Honda of McDavid Frisco. I left 1-star feedback because finance department of the Honda of McDavid cheated during the signing the documents.

I bought the the car with financing. Finance department offered me a payment plan which was showing the price of the car, taxes and monthly payment. I accepted high amount of interest because i was planning build a credit history with auto loan and i could apply for the refinance after six months. There was no problem for me.

Their paper work process took so long. I was very tired during the financing. I came to the office around 9AM and last version of the payment plan was ready around 1:30pm. Due to long hours waiting time, i just checked the total numbers and signed the all papers.

After receiving mails and payment plan by mail, I was shock. Finance department (Mr. Youness Jirani) added additional warranties my payment plan even though I didn t request or he didn t explained to me any of them.

I made a terrible mistake not reading every word but their honesty in their business made me second shock. I bought my car one of the biggest Honda Dealer not random dealer.

I face with and asked to him. He said that I explained to you and you accepted that. THAT WAS COMPLETELY LIE.

I canceled my all additional warranties on first week of February but they didn t cancel the warranties until June 2020. I paid extra interest for the warranties amount (around $6300).

I needed to visit their office 3 times and spent 12 hours for cancellation process.

They also charged me extra for the the car s price. The car s price was around $13.750,00 but they collected the sales tax as around $14.950,00. So I paid much more higher sale tax.

The additional warranties which he put my file are;

Maintemnance for $1068
Service Contract for $3335
Debt Cancellation $850 and
paint protection was around $1100

total = $6353

For the future customer, PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

The best car dealership period. I purchased a car from them a few years back, had a great experience there. Had all the maintenance done on my car there and was a great experience every time. I recently went back, purchased another new car, and had an outstanding experience. Everyone there is always very helpful and they have a true passion to help people get into the new car of their dreams. In the service department ask for Dylan Hiller, he is very informative and cares as much about my car as I do. If you are looking for a new car talk to James Brown, he is very honest, passionate about his job, and will answer any questions you may have.

I had a wonderful experience buying my car from Keith Burr. He was friendly knowledgeable and up front about everything we discussed. I have never seen anyone laugh when buying a car but the atmosphere was so relaxed that we couldn't help ourselves. Keith stayed well past his time off and when we finished at 9:30pm he happily took pictures of me in front of my new car and took the time to show me all the features in my car. I'll definitely have to come back for a tutorial! I would recommend David McDavid and Keith in a heartbeat to anyone I know!

Went in to see "the cleanest Jetta in Texas" and they couldn't find the car and then they told me after they couldn't find the car that I didn't want that car because it came in on a wrecker. Total junk they said. When I asked about the internet ad they said that they don't write those ads.

Great buying experience! Karl & Chase were great. The people in David McDavid ---really are wonderful people in the way they treat the customers. Karl & Chase were patient in explaining different issues & we were able to test drive the cars that we liked.....Karl explained all the features...by the way, Karl is a car guy! ...that really helps! Chase also was well informed and gave us all the pros and cons of different options....made it easy for us to choose the Hybrid Accord!
One thing that stands out about David McDavid.....all the people we met loved their job and wanted to put the customer first! No wonder the place was so crowded on a Saturday....
Overall, it was one of the best experience of car buying we have ever had!

I have serviced my 1 year old Honda CRV last week and they gave me a service record with all green mark on the condition. To my surprise, exactly after 1 week, I was struck in the road where I was unable to start my car. Imagine it was 9 PM in the night with family and called up my insurance company and they sent me a towing service. when they inspected the car, the battery was unable to charge, they ran the test and found the battery has replaced. one year old car with unbranded old battery, I have to spend money from packet to move my car and I am pretty sure battery was changed in my recent service. HORRIBLE EPERIENCE with service.

I purchased this car for my son who is about to go away to college. I brought him with me to experience the negotiating process. I wanted to get him a used car but due to Covid the selection was limited. Therefore our budget was also limited for a new car.

We did our research and entered the dealership prepared with what we thought was a fair price, including the upgrades we wanted. In many ways I was hoping to get the stereotypical car salesman treatment so my son would see how this business sometimes works. But Ed did not act that way at all. After a short discussion we got the price we wanted and the deal was done in short order.

After the sale, Ed spent a lot of time helping my son set up the essential features of the car. He is loyal after the sale and I am am happy I did business with him. I would certainly do business with him again.

MATT, my sales consultant, is an absolute rockstar! He practically spent the whole day with me trying to make sure I was comfortable with buying a car while also dealing with family input over the phone! He was extremely patient throughout the day and really looked out for me when I was stressed out on what to do. Never had an attitude and never was upset! Got to Honda McDavid Frisco and was told it would be close to a two hour wait but somehow it was only 30 minutes. My recent experience purchasing a car far exceeded my expectations. The friendly staff made me feel at ease as they spent time listening to my needs and desires. All staff members were very passionate and knowledgeable. Because of this I was guided to explore multiple options which increased my confidence in making my final decision. On Saturday, August 17th, I bought my second (2013) Honda Pilot from David McDavid Honda in Frisco. Three years ago when I purchased my first Honda Pilot the excellent customer service I got stuck with me...hence my return to McDavid Honda. This time sales person was Chris Torres. I don't want to take anything away from my last experience but Chris Torres was outstanding to work with. The second we shook hands we hit it off. Throughout the time that we discussed my options Chris never pressured me even at times when I mentioned coming back another time.

Chris comes across as a genuine person and is a credit to McDavid Honda...he is a credit to the car dealership industry period! By the time I made my decision to purchase my new vehicle and drive away I felt like I could call Chris a friend. Strange, I know but this guy is that friendly and caring about his job and how he takes care of his customers.

Thanks Chris for a great experience...McDavid Honda has my future business for sure.

I was shopping for cars with multiple dealers and got a great quote from honda of fortworth. David McDavid said they can beat any quote by 500 and asked me to stop by and so did i. Chase who worked with me was great, friendly and professional. He showed me the car and later took my quote from honda of fortworth in writing to his manager. The manager was not able to beat honda of fort worth price and thats ok but his attitute about how he came out and talked and told honda of fortworth wont be able to give that price and will have surprises was very rude and uncalled for. If you cant beat a dealer price thats ok. you can still be friendly and say that.

I went to Honda of Fortworth and they were great. they gave the price they promised and no surprises. it was well worth the 60 mile drive. My recommendation for anyone shopping for a car atleast call Honda of fortworth. Since they are not in North dallas where all the rush is they will give a better price and treat you better.

Located a used 2014 Honda Ridgeline online through the Educators Employee Credit Union TrueCar site. I was hesitant to fill out the info to let them know I was interested in the vehicle because my experience in the past has been my phone would blow up immediately from dealers once I hit submit. It took over a day from this dealership. An appt was made for Sat morning at 10am to view and test drive the car. I got off early Friday afternoon and decided to travel up to Frisco from downtown Dallas to see the vehicle and Ash, my associate I was to ask for, was busy with another client. I was happy to wait because I was showing up a day early. After about 45 mins to an hour, he assisted me and made a copy of my license and went to retrieve the keys to the Ridgeline. We walked out to the parking lot together but the keys did not alert on any of the vehicles. He asked other associates the whereabouts of the Ridgeline. None knew where it was. As we were outside, an employee said he though he saw it around back. I went back inside because it was 107 degrees outside while Ash tried to locate the vehicle. He returned to tell me that he found out it had sold that day to someone online. If I was willing to buy it on the spot that day he said it was customary to sell the vehicle to the one that was in person to buy it. I told him I would buy it that day. He said he would check with the director. He returned to tell me that it was a NO. That the paperwork had already been started with the other person. Do you think they would have contacted me to tell me that the car had sold and not to come the following morning at 10am if they looked all over the lot for the truck and couldn't find it at 7pm while I was there? I DOUBHT IT. So, David McDavid and Ash, if you are reading this, DO NOT bother contacting me about any other vehicle that you may have available, because I WON"T be buying from you. I just want to not waste your time like you did mine.

I was in here two weeks ago and bought a used 2011 MDX. Trunk had an issue opening, but they promised to fix it for me, and they followed through without hassle. Financing got me about where I wanted on APR, and Melvin, my salesman, was great. Not pushy at all, let me drive the car around as much as I needed to check things out, and even gave me his personal cell number to make sure I could contact him about anything else I'd need. 10/10 experience. Thanks guys!

We are Rodrick & Christina Mayberry. We were helped by Mr. Elkins and a sales man named Shawn, on Tuesday September 30, 2020.

We put a down payment for car letting them know we will be there in a week to purchase it.

Drove 4.5 hrs to dealership and the car was not ready for us. (Not to mention the 5.5 hours drive back home cause of traffic WITH NO CAR...)

Test drive and hear a rattling in engine

They tell us to go to lunch and they ll check it.

One hour twenty minutes later, we come back and they haven t checked the car yet.

Then, after about another hour they come back and say it s the parking brake and will take 400 off price. Then said they would take off 500. Then the manager proceeds to ask us what we thought would be a fair amount. We told them we prefer they fix it, then us. Then they offered 600 off the car. We told them to fix it cause it s for our daughter.

Manager says he ll reset it (parking brake) and leaves for another hour or more w the salesman.

They come back and say they re going to take it next door to the Ford dealer to check it.

15 quick minutes later they come back and say they can t consciously sell us the car cause it s the transmission.

This dealership let us drive 4.5 hours to get there thinking we were purchasing a car. A safe car. Waited over three nearly four hours for them to figure out what the rattling issue was with their own mechanics. They take it to another dealership and their mechanics figure out issue with in 15 minutes! We believe this manager, salesman and dealership KNEW the whole week we had the hold paid and the 4.5 hours we drove there....that they knew this car was unsafe and unsellable the whole time.

This dealership and it s employees are very incompetent or they do not care at all about their customers safety and time. Due to the fact this car is back online for sale to some other unsuspecting customer. We feel it is both after finding that out and will never shop for a vehicle at David McDavid Honda of Frisco Texas again.

My husband and I went in with our 4 children looking to trade in 2 vehicles. I thought for this would be a very stressful situation and we would probably have to come back another time. However, Zane Stapp worked with us and from the moment we met him we knew he would take care of us. He made sure to get us exactly what we wanted, he was very friendly, made us comfortable having our children with us, and most importantly did not pressure us into anything. He went through all the details making certain that we would be happy when we left. We certainly were!! Would highly recommend Zane Stapp!

Brought my vehicle in due to a manufacturer's recall. The information provided by Honda said that the repair would take about an hour. When I called to schedule with the Service Dept, I was told they'd need half a day for the repair! Big difference there. Once I returned home after dropping off my vehicle, I received an emailed "Inspection Report" with $700+ worth of repairs my vehicle needed. I spoke with Eric, who then tried to persuade me to have some high dollar work done on my car, which was brought in only for a manufacturer's recall. I've wasted my entire day at home at this point, for a repair that was only supposed to take one hour. For the last two hours I've been waiting on the "Complimentary" shuttle to take me back to pick up my car. Still waiting! I can think of many, many other ways to spend an entire day off work... I will NEVER make the mistake of returning to this dealership again! Seriously, find a dealer that values its customers.
***UPDATE*** 3 weeks later
I continue to receive sales calls at random times during the workday, emails, and letters in the mail from this dealership regarding having repairs done at their location, vehicle lease options, and vehicle sales. All of these are unwanted and unwelcome, and I've made that clear to David McDavid Honda. Apparently, bringing a vehicle in for recall repairs entitles them to repeatedly spam you by phone, email, and US mail. Don't make the mistake of entering this dealership. -5 stars, will never return.

Gannon went out of his way to keep me posted on the work of my car. Had an appointment to get my car for annual smog test then a software update. Was told I didn t need smog test because my car was new and my window sticker was for 2 years. I was there from 1:30 till 6 for software update. Gannon told me the shop was backed up. He eventually got my car in the repair shop before it closed for the day so I wouldn t have to make another appointment for another day. Gannon deserves a 5 for his efforts. I have had no problems in the past for work on my car. Respectfully Ray

I live in Saginaw and I recently went all the way to Frisco to buy my new Honda CRV with Victor Berry. I m a USAA member and used their car buying services. My option for dealers was Huggins, Honda of Denton, and Honda of Frisco. I ve purchased my last two Hondas from Huggins and I had planned to do go there again to buy this one. Victor reached out to me and convinced me he was worth the drive. He wasn t wrong. I couldn t have been happier with his help. I wasn t exactly the easiest client because I walked in knowing what I wanted and I wasn t budging. He did everything he could to make sure I walked out happy with his servicesand with a car I love. I highly suggest anyone looking to buy a Honda go and see Victor. I had a few issues with getting some things switched on my car in accessories and even though none of that was Victor s issue he made sure it was handled properly and that I was happy in the end. Overall I am very happy with my new car as well as the friendly staff at Honda of Frisco.

What a GREAT first car buying experience! I didn't know what to expect when I decided it was time to purchase a new car. When I first inquired about a Honda Accord on their website, I received an email from Chris Mullenix. He answered of all my questions and he kept answering all my questions before I even arrived to the dealership. Didn't sense any pressure at all. When I finally decided to come into the dealership, Chris had to leave but he had Sam Saidian help me out. Sam made this buying process extremely painless and he helped me pick out the perfect car for me. Chris, Sam and the Honda team were patient with me and within a couple of days, I became a new owner of a 2014 honda Accord! Thank you David McDavid Honda of Frisco!! 5 STARS!!

I bought a 2017 CR-V AWD Touring a week ago. I got the trailer hitch installed. Quality of installation and service is great. With the hitch, the Hands free tailgate sensor has to be moved. Sensor does not respond sometime which is a little bit annoying. Sticker to show where the sensor is relocated also came off after 5 day use.

I couldn't have been more satisfied with the service I received and how quick and easy it was to trade in my existing vehicle and purchase a larger one for my growing family. Sales dept is creepy, 4-5 people surround your vehicle before you even get out and then bombard you. Already had a deal worked out and went ahead with the purchase despite not wanting to exit my truck. Finance is pushy about warranty and the icing was waiting over 2 months for a license plate without anyone returning my calls to update me. Good thing I didn't have a trade in, who knows how long it takes them to pay those off. I've purchased from Classic before and had a wonderful experience but they are smaller and don't have the same inventory. I'll just order or wait until they have what I want in the future. Not going through this stress again.
