December 28th, 2019: Bad experience again. Happened again where the service person Mike Rowe tried charging $149 for diagnostics, even when i showed the special on their website where they were advertising special of free diagnostics. It took some convincing to for him to accept the advertised promotion.
Kept the car from 2 pm onwards on Saturday and told me at the end of the day that they won't be able to get to my car today and that I need to bring back on monday. Service manager - Matt couldn't help much and just gave lame excuses.

Earlier experience:
The sales manager by the name Aaron was very aggressive and disrespectful. Selling is their job but not by totally disregarding what the other guy is saying.
He may be producing results in terms of number of sales but he needs to learn a lesson or two in good customer service. He made the car buying experience totally miserable. Never going back, and will tell family and friends not to.
I had good experience with the same dealership when I bought the car in 2010 but this time - worst. I would rate Rusty Wallis or even David McDavid Irving better.

Advice to others - do not get yourself pressurized by bully salesman and make sure you check the above dealership - I was especially impressed by Rusty Wallis' upfront bottom price.

With my addiction to purchasing new cars every few years, I must say without a doubt this was the best experience I've ever had in this century. Oleksandr at David McDavid Honda of Frisco was a true professional and has a heart for people and remarkable customer service. My purchase today was for my oldest daughter and I have two more to go after her and will be back for sure! If you get a chance go by and ask for him, he's a pretty interesting fellow from Ukraine! Regular oil chabge, fine. However the attempted upsell/overcharge for a simple bumper re-install (it popped off after backing out of a parking space), was unappreciated. Tried to sell us a new.bumper and paint job, all we needed were some 50 cent clips to re affix it.

let me clarify me 2 star rating, this is purely based on my 8/8/19 and 8/7/19 experience trying to go look at new cars during my lunch break. During this time frame the Honda dealership is under construction and is close to impossible to just casually view cars.

When I'm looking for a new car i don't just KNOW which one i'm going to get i'm very analytical and require the ability to go touch and feel the car I'm considering, I don't require the pressures of sales people breathing down my neck nor do i wish to waste their time when i'm simply trying to see if the car is a contender in my search.

8/7/19 i went to the dealership and its an absolute mess under construction, the only vehicles that are readily accessible are used, i think that was extremely poorly planned out, but hey maybe they make more off used so maybe it was very strategic on their part. So I wandered around trying to find the new cars.....determined they weren't accessible to me....and walked into the show room and couldn't determine if anyone was available. so left and went to toyota to look at cars.

8/8/19 thought i'd give it another shot, walked into the show room, there were 2 employees at the front and asked where the new cars were he indicated they had to be pulled up to the front by them, so i said 'oh ok' and proceeded to walk away.....to my surprise he wasn't very interested in trying to retain my attention so i took that as a sign. Maybe I'm 50/50 relieved / annoyed.....didn't waste the sales persons time, but annoyed that he didn't offer any solution.

Long story medium, if you're in a hurry to just give a quick peak at cars here, its currently not conducive to that type of shopping..big fat bummer I work across the highway and it would be TERRIBLY convenient to purchase here. Oh well

Very unhelpful and wasn't even acknowledgedwhen I walked in!!! Just moved from California where I had leased a Honda. I needed to have a paper notarized from Honda Financial for tax purposes. This Honda dealership would not notarize my paper if I didn't do business with them. Looks like we won't be doing business with them. I called the dealership in Lewisville and Kevin was very helpful and without a doubt said no problem. I know where I will be taking my business.

The other day I was at the dealership looking for a car for my Son. We ran into this salesperson Melvin J. I was really surprised to see, still there are people who are professional as well as know so much about the cars. I was dealt very nicely by him and he explain in very detail about the car and haggle free, which make my experience very pleasant.
I will recomend every one who are looking to by Honda, they should visit David Mc. David in Frisco and look for Melvin.

At David McDavid Honda I had the most enjoyable car buying experience! I have never purchased a vehicle so easily. I purchased the vehicle from Sam Horton over the internet and email, I told Sam what I wanted, what I had to trade, what I wanted for my trade and what I wanted my monthly payments to be. Sam meet all my demands and my wife, daughter and I drove from Lubbock to Frisco to get our new vehicle. We were given a loaner car while our new vehicle was prepared and we were treated with the utmost hospitality. I will recommend David McDavid Honda to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. If you are going for service, STAY AWAY! Today I went to Honda McDavid Frisco to get a full inspection on my Odyssey. $145 to get the van fully inspected, steep, but I wanted to know of all potential issues. They quote me for over $6500 worth of work. One of the problems listed was Air Filter: Missing . I go to Walmart buy an Air Filter, went to install it, and there already is an air filter installed that looks fairly new. I end of going to Kwik Kar and they said all it needs is motor mounts and they even beat the price quoted. SCAM! STAY AWAY! Sad because we have used this dealership for years with numerous Honda s. Never again! No wonder why Toyota s are the best vehicles on the road.

Bought a car with Bailey and he was great to work with. He was not pushy and did not keep trying to get me to spend more money. Once I said I didn t want something it was left and that and I really really appreciated that as some places push stuff on you even after you decline it, at which point I generally walk out. I also appreciate he wasn t adamant about getting to know what are you do for a living, as it is not the only thing that dictates budget. Also he was very informative when going over options and features during the delivery. Overall, I think he has a great career ahead of him.

Worst experience ever. I have used them before and never really gave a second thought to actual time it took to work on my car since my work is right across the street. I was informed by Buddy that if you leave the service center your car gets put on a "end of day pickup" while they tend to the people waiting in the lobby. Turns out this day my wife called me 2 hours after drop off that she needed the van so she could take my child to the hospital. New tire was put on (after I said to just patch it up after I was informed that it wasn't under warranty) waited another hour at the dealership as they put the donut back on and basically just wasted 3.5 hours of my time at the dealership with nothing to show for it. I went to Walmart that day and got 4 new tires with the same warranty and spent half the cost. Will never step foot into McDavid Honda for my Honda needs. Beware you have to take a full day off of work to get services on car done.

Google should have an option of 0 stars. This dealership is worst. Honda should try to put in sales managers who are mentally stable. I recently went to the dealership to buy car for my friend. The sales person were too kind and they explained us the features and even took us for the test drive, we were negotiating the price to match with another dealership around plano. The sales person went inside to check with his manager William ( this person definitely is not for to work for a dealership, he doesn t know how to treat people not respect the customer). William immediately came out and told us he came out to meet the jockers( all 4 of us who were there at the dealership). He asked us to get out of the dealership without wasting his time. I m not going to visit this dealership anymore, looking at the ways to being up this issue to Honda Motors USA. DONT VISIT THIS DEALERSHIP.

Worst customer service ever by any Honda service center. You make the appointment for 7a.m ( first thing in morning ) and they say you max by 8.30 -9 your car will be done ( just software update ) and completely forget about the car, even though I mentioned them I am waiting and if it get late let me know so that I can go home. Only on inquiry at 10 they start working on car and online status changes. Worst customer service and representative (Devon) says this is how things are done , completely being un apologetic . I will never step back again here with this attitude towards customer.

did appoitment for saturday and dropped the vehicle and has to wait for 20 min in line before advisor comes. i feel like didn't take any sanitation precautions for COVID-19. didn't saw the removable seat cover, steering wheel cover and paper door mat which we usually see in every car after maintenance. this is scary part.

My tire problem was diagnosed within minutes and fixed within an hour. On top of that I got coffee, bottled water, and a personal escort to my car which received a complimentary wash. My Service Advisor, Tony Rodriguez, kept me informed all along the way. I was very impressed with Tony and David McDavid of Frisco. I brought my car to the service department last week for an issue with my IMA system and a recall. Getting work done on your vehicle is always an overwhelming and dreaded experience. I had always heard that dealerships are over priced and will push unneeded repairs. This shop changed my mind though and my advisory Matt Johnson was great. The repairs were made in a timely fashion and it came in below estimate. I appreciate the work and will highly recommend you guys in the future.

I needed to get some parts for my 2018 Honda Civic since I work on my own vehicles, already knowing the part numbers. Called ahead to make sure they have the parts I need in stock. Straight away was greeted on the phone with parts.
I ask to confirm if they would have some parts readily in stock for pickup soon and as I was giving the parts number, I was interrupted mid sentence with yeah we got it
After that I asked if they would have just a 18mm crush washer for the transmission drain bolt, and was again rudely interrupted with yeah we have it in stock.
Didn t even give me a pricing on anything, but then again I didn t even ask.
Since I ve work in a mechanic / garage workplace, I kinda somewhat understand the attitude. But come on, from a well known dealership?!?!

Very disappointed with the Biopledge. I use to work for BMW and when we used it we vacuumed and wiped down all the surfaces. All this dealership did was spray it on top of all the dirt and grime. What even is the point!? Just a way to get us on the door I guess. Also, my tire pressure was low and I received it back with low tire pressure.

The lease was up on our Odyssey so we decided to take a look at the new Pilot. Test drove it, loved it. What a great SUV and the changes are fantastic. However we decided to go with a 2015 Pilot. Love this one even more. Sales rep, Luis Alvarez, was fantastic, listened to our needs and was nothing short of truly professional. Although we spent the afternoon there, even our boys had a good time. I would absolutely recommend David McDavid Honda in Frisco!

one was at my window to greet me right away. He went to get my service technician who arrived shortly. I voiced a concern about a matter not related to my service appt. He listened to my concerns, turned out to my lack of car knowledge. He escorted me to the waiting area. After a period of time I received a list of all that was done related to the scheduled service and some recommended items to be done. I chose what I wanted done. The complete price was texted to me and I was called by the technician when that service was completed. I paid what was due, signed the invoice and was escorted to my car. I left a happy customer.

Unfortunately we were not able to do business with this dealership yet, but let me tell you that they really do their best to work with their costumers and they are all polite and respectful. The reason that I'm writing this review is that we visited multiple dealerships during this week in the COVID-19 era, I'm really impressed that the only dealership that I saw that truly practicing social distancing is this dealership and you feel safe there. They all wear mask and they let you to do test drive on your own. I really appreciate the management and the whole team for the good job and caring about their employee and customers health.

Been a customer of McDavid Honda of Frisco since 2007. Always take my car there for service. In case there is a recall, it can be handled by "Honda staff and Honda parts etc. Always professional, as quick as they can be, comfortable waiting area and kind staff.
Recently had to have an extensive repair, the loan car was very nice, the job was quicker and less expensive than anticipated and my Rep. was Mike Myers? He was excellent, took great care to help me. He was not selling me on anything. He was in the situation with me and together we found the best route to getting me back on the road.

"RUDE" "RUDE" sales man. I have been to dealership and we started to negotiate and at one point we did not meet the numbers. I was very polite if you can not meet the numbers that is fine. He said he can not meet the price I asked for. Sales man left from the place and went inside with out even a single word. He had my car keys (took the trade in car for inspection) and did not bother to give the keys or tell me where it is parked. He was so rude and absolutely no professionalism. If you can not offer the car for the price he could have said it very clear its not possible. No drama required. I heard more stories about this dealership. but experienced it. Idiotic behavior ever. I would highly recommend not going to this place.

We got our new CRV from McDavid Honda of Frisco and we could not be more happier with the purchase. Mark Ladd, our salesman, gladly price matched the offer we had received from other dealer. Mark was patient through the test drive and our questions. He never rushed us or forced us with an up sell. The dealership is conveniently located and has more color options than the other dealers (main reason why we came here from other dealer). We would definitely recommend this dealership.

2. Sales agent, Sales manager, me and my friend - we discussed McDavid price quote (Honda Pilot EXL 2020 FWD) - and we agreed on the deal in less than half hr. There was no un-necessary back and forth and haggling.
3. Purchase contract signing and vehicle walk through process was thorough and very well explained.

When the battery in our 15 year old hybrid began to show signs that the end was near for it Jermy Harper was extremely helpful getting the battery ordered and setting up a time for it to be replaced. When my wife went it to pick it up Jermy noticed when he moved the car that the A/C was not working correctly. So that got fixed. Then when they noticed that the right front tire had a large sidewall bubble. That got fixed too. Late in the day on a when all the customers were coming to pick up their cars and the staff knew their trip home was just around the corner it would have been easy to just ignore these last few items. Jermy took the time to make sure my wife was safe and comfortable on her way home. Thanks Jermy.
